Given the events of the last six years as the baseline…. If you cannot recognize the events over the past 75 days as coordinated, including:
…. The FBI raid on August 8
….. Joe Biden “vacation”
….. Ron DeSantis presented as the palatable illusion of choice.
Then you have not been paying attention, or you are in denial.
What is the great offense?
Answer: The people elected someone who was not approved.
There is one permanent, political and administrative deep state running the United States Government.
It does not matter which color flag rests atop the congressional spire, republican or democrat, it does not change the behavior of the participants.
[ Transcript ] […] Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American People. There is nothing the political establishment will not do, and no lie they will not tell, to hold on to their prestige and power at your expense.
The Washington establishment, and the financial and media corporations that fund it, exists for only one reason: to protect and enrich itself.
The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election. As an example, just one single trade deal they’d like to pass, involves trillions of dollars controlled by many countries, corporations and lobbyists.
For those who control the levers of power in Washington, and for the global special interests they partner with, our campaign represents an existential threat.
This is not simply another 4-year election. This is a crossroads in the history of our civilization that will determine whether or not We The People reclaim control over our government.
The political establishment that is trying everything to stop us, is the same group responsible for our disastrous trade deals, massive illegal immigration, and economic and foreign policies that have bled this country dry. The political establishment has brought about the destruction of our factories and our jobs, as they flee to Mexico, China and other countries throughout the world. Our just-announced jobs numbers are anemic, and our gross domestic product, or GDP, is barely above one percent.
Workers in the United States, were making less than they were almost 20 years ago – and yet they are working harder.
It’s a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth, and put that money into the pockets of a handful of large corporations and political entities.
Just look at what this corrupt establishment has done to our cities like Detroit and Flint, Michigan – and rural towns in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina and across our country. They have stripped these towns bare, and raided the wealth for themselves and taken away their jobs.
The Clinton Machine is at the center of this power structure. We’ve seen this firsthand in the WikiLeaks documents in which Hillary Clinton meets in secret with international banks to plot the destruction of U.S. sovereignty in order to enrich these global financial powers.
And, likewise, the emails show that the Clinton Machine is so closely and irrevocably tied to media organizations that she is given the questions and answers in advance of her debates. Clinton is also given approval and veto power over quotes written about her in the New York Times. And the emails show the reporters collaborate and conspire directly with the Clinton Campaign on helping her win the election.
With their control over our government at stake, with trillions of dollars on the line, the Clinton Machine is determined to achieve the destruction of our campaign, which has now become a movement the likes of which our country has never seen before – and we won’t let them do that.
The most powerful weapon deployed by the Clintons is the corporate media. Let’s be clear on one thing: the corporate media in our country is no longer involved in journalism.
They are a political special interest, no different than any lobbyist or other financial entity with an agenda. And their agenda is to elect the Clintons at any cost, at any price, no matter how many lives they destroy.
For them, it is a war – and for them, nothing is out of bounds.
This is a struggle for the survival of our nation. This election will determine whether we are a free nation, or whether we have only the illusion of Democracy but are in fact controlled by a small handful of global special interests rigging the system.
This is not just conspiracy but reality, and you and I know it.
The establishment and their media enablers wield control over this nation through means that are well known. Anyone who challenges their control is deemed a sexist, a racist, a xenophobe and morally deformed. They will attack you, they will slander you, they will seek to destroy your career and reputation. And they will lie, lie and lie even more.
The Clintons are criminals. This is well-documented, and the establishment that protects them has engaged in a massive cover-up of widespread criminal activity at the State Department and Clinton Foundation in order to keep the Clintons in power. Never in history have we seen such a cover-up as this, one that includes the destruction of 33,000 emails, 13 phones, laptops, missing boxes of evidence, and on and on.
People who are capable of such crimes against our nation are capable of anything.
[…] But I take all of these slings and arrows for you. I take them for our movement, so that we can have our country back. Our great civilization, here in America and across the civilized world, has come upon a moment of reckoning.
We’ve seen it in the United Kingdom, where they voted to liberate themselves from global government and global trade deals and global immigration deals that have destroyed their sovereignty.
But the central base of world political power is here in America, and it is our corrupt political establishment that is the greatest power behind the efforts at radical globalization and the disenfranchisement of working people.
Their financial resources are unlimited. Their political resources are unlimited. Their media resources are unlimited. And, most importantly, the depths of their immorality is unlimited.
Our political establishment has no soul. I knew these false attacks would come. I knew this day would arrive. And I knew the American people would rise above it and vote for the future they deserve.
The only thing that can stop the Corrupt Clinton Machine is you. The only force strong enough to save this country is you. The only people brave enough to vote out this corrupt establishment is you, the American People.
They control the Department of Justice, and they even clandestinely meet with the Attorney General of the United States – in the back of her airplane, while on the runway – for 39 minutes – to most likely discuss her reappointment in a Clinton Administration just prior to the Attorney General making a decision over whether or not to prosecute Hillary Clinton.
Likewise, they have corrupted the Director of the FBI to the point at which stories are already saying the great men and women who work for the FBI are embarrassed and ashamed to what he’s done to one of our great institutions. Hillary Clinton is guilty of all of the things that Director Comey stated at his press conference and Congressional hearings, and far more – and yet he let her off the hook, while others lives are being destroyed for far less.
This is a conspiracy against you, the American people.
This is our moment of reckoning as a society and as a civilization.
I didn’t need to do this. I built a great company, and I had a wonderful life. I could have enjoyed the benefits of years of successful business for myself and my family, instead of going through this absolute horror show of lies, deceptions and malicious attacks. I’m doing it because this country has given me so much, and I feel strongly it was my turn to give back.
Some people warned me this campaign would be a journey to hell. But they are wrong, it will be a journey to heaven because we will help so many people.
In my former life, I was an insider as much as anybody else – and I know what’s like to be an insider. Now I am being punished for leaving their special club and revealing to you their great scam. Because I used to be part of the club, I’m the only one who can fix it. I’m doing this for the people, and this movement is just right – and we will take back this country for you and Make America Great Again.
The corrupt establishment knows that we are an existential threat to their criminal enterprise. They know, that if we win, their power is gone and returned to you. The clouds hanging over our government can be lifted, and replaced with a bright future – but it all depends on whether we let the New York Times decide our future, or whether we let the American people decide our future.
If this Clinton Campaign of Destruction is allowed to work, then no other highly successful person – which is what our country needs – will ever again run for this office.
I will not lie to you. These false attacks hurt. To be lied about, to be slandered, to be smeared so publicly and before your family, is painful.
What the Clinton Machine is doing to me, and my family, is egregious beyond words. It is reprehensible beyond description.
But I also know, it’s not about me – it’s about all of you. It’s about all of us, together, as a country.
It’s about the Veterans who need medical care, the mothers who’ve lost children to terrorism and crime, it’s about the inner cities and the border towns who desperately need our help, it’s about the millions of jobless Americans. This election is about the people being crushed by Obamacare, and it’s about defeating ISIS and appointing Supreme Court Justices who will defend our Constitution.
This election is also about the African-American and Hispanic communities whose communities have been plunged into crime, poverty and failing schools by the policies of Hillary Clinton. They’ve robbed these citizens of their future, and I will give them their hope, jobs and opportunities back. I will deliver.
This election is about every man, woman and child in our country who deserves to live in safety, prosperity and peace.
We will rise above the lies, the smears, and the ludicrous slanders from ludicrous reporters.
We will vote for the country we want.
We will vote for the future we want.
We will vote for the politics we want.
We will vote to put this corrupt government cartel out of business. We will remove from our politics the special interests who have betrayed our workers, our borders, our freedoms, and our sovereign rights as a nation. We will end the politics of profit, we will end the rule of special interests, we will put a stop to the raiding of our country – and the disenfranchisement of our people.
Our Independence Day is at hand, and it arrives, finally, on November 8th. Join me in taking back our country, and creating a bright and glorious new dawn for our people.
folks need to calm down
Onward with the attack from the right flank!!!
Let’s snatch defeat from the Jaws of victory, by George. How dare anyone not pass our purity test!
Screw Florida, let it turn blue!
Brilliant, just brilliant 👏 👏 👏
Your young governor could END all the rightwing commotion by stating clearly and succinctly that he will NOT be running for president in 2024. Simple as that. What’s he waiting for?
I need DeSantis to re-embrace Trump and go full MAGA.
It’s not about the Florida election, Somebody. It’s about 2024.
If Florida doesn’t elect Ron Florida has screwed Florida, and the USA and MAGA and last but not least, Ron screwed President Trump. Ron should’ve stayed in his own lane.
Well…when Sundance gets a hankering for nuking someone, he goes all in, that’s for sure.
Answer me this game show participants; WHO will you turn to if the cabal succeeds, by either putting Trump in jail or, most likely, making these allegations stick enough to prevent him from running again?
Please…any of you, or especially Sundance: WHO WILL YOU BELIEVE IN THAT CAN ACTUALLY WIN THE PRESIDENCY IF TRUMP IS TAKEN OUT?
I suggest that many here, and particularly our fine host (who I dearly respect and appreciate), are unable to answer that question. Destroy the strongest possible candidate other than PDJT, and we’re left with….
Puff and Fluff.
If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear this is a PSYOP designed to turn conservatives against each other.
“Destroy the strongest possible candidate”
The problem is desantis is a GOPe, not a MAGA.
President Trump / MAGA are the 24K gold standard for America First.
However, it never fails, the GOPe 4th rate actors appear on the scene with their cheap knockoffs made with brass and covered with a thin layer of 6K gold thinking they can fool the unsuspecting MAGAs.
Oh, they can fool some MAGAs until they start turning people’s fingers green. Desantis and kirk found that out this week.
Sundance makes a claim, and you all jump into the boat.
”DeSantis is a RINO puppet…see he is being courted by people with money..he’s speaking at rally’s for other candidates…he won’t cut his own throat and bleed out for President Trump like everyone else is…well…actually nobody else is doing that, BUT DESANTIS NEEDS TO OR ELSE”!!!!
I love President Trump, and if he is able to run and does run, DeSantis will NOT run…take that to the bank. If PDJT is mortally wounded by the cabal (and it’s not looking good), then let’s SEE WHAT HAPPENS THEN VERSES TRASHING ANY POSSIBLE CANDIDATE NOW.
Sundance presented a compelling case to question DeSantis and I considered his evidence and then did my own research … and in the end I agree with Sundance.
I’m not claiming to be wiser than others, but I am older, and sometimes experience – well, let’s just say, some things are so FAMILIAR, you cannot help but trip over them. I noticed DeSantis’ remarks, and the ARIZONA RALLY posters that featured DESANTIS instead of the ARIZONA CANDIDATES – all three of whom benefitted from TRUMP ENDORSEMENTS….
So the first time you come across a rattlesnake, and you’ve NEVER EVEN HEARD of one in your whole life, you might not know what you are confronted with. You MIGHT can be expected to not quite understand the situation – maybe.
Second time, just the SOUND ALONE will get your attention, or else there is something more wrong than just a very UNHEALTHY Lack of Natural Suspicion such as is VITAL to your own survival.
So I noticed DeSantis, and also Kari and Blake as well.
Now it’s also Laura Ingraham, not to mention Charlie Kirk and others….
CLEARLY – ICTHEMATRIX protesteth TOO MUCH.
Whose side is he REALLY on!
How much he loves SOMEONE is Surely Showing.
Yea! Just like picking teammates for kickball during recess. Ahhhh, the good ole days!
It’s all about luuuuuuuv!
LM rear quarter off.
Scarlett,
What you are describing is discernment. You and I have it. It is a gift from God that takes years to hone into a knowing something as soon as you see or hear it. I can hear a comment or dialog on tv or radio while doing something else. My ears perk up and immediately think “That’s It!”
Sundance has that God given skill. That’s why I have been coming here since Travon Martin. I miss the Wolfman’s comments
Trump needs the same dose of skepticism. It is healthy.
Nah. Trump has proven himself 100 times over. You just don’t get it.
Sure. Operation Warpspeed (TM). “She’s suffered enough.”(TM). Ballyhooing LEOs. Yep. Proven. Time and time again.
Heroes are for children.
You just don’t get it.
If you STILL think there is a political solution; if you STILL think we are going to vote our way out of this, then YOU are the problem. You have a slave mentality.
The only solution is allowing God to be the prosecutor and jury. Our job is to pray for the Heavenly Hosts to raise their mighty swords and help Us. David slayed Goliath with one stone, can God do no less?
There are ZERO political solutions !!!! That’s why the RINORATS hate Trumps America First Solutions!!!
The experienced Trump understands skepticism mixed with diplomacy … aka … the art of the deal … Thats. Why. The. RINORATS. Hate. Him. !!!
You’re changing the narrative.
First you jumped on the wagon. Then you later posted you researched Sundance’s claims and verified them through your own secondary and tertiary sources. That’s all acceptable.
What isn’t is the diction employed. Your first approach with endless details on poster content and interview references basically communicated this message: I have done my homework and DeSantis is a deep state/Uniparty plant whose purpose is to splinter the vote. Then you stated the proverbial we are “serving notice”. Now you are employing different language – “compelling case to question DeSantis”. During this verbal voyage you posted that it is nevertheless critical for DeSantis to remain in place as FL governor insinuating the necessity is to insure 2024 voting integrity.
Cut to the chase: either DeSantis is conclusively deep sate or not. No shading. No grey areas. If so, then he, like all RINOs, must go. You can’t apply a half baked, circumstance driven principle.
I too am interested in this answer.
If you want to criticize my writings then at least use my words, not yours. I never use the terms “deep state” and “uniparty” so I’m not sure where you got that from. I’m actually opposed to the “uniparty” concept, I think RINOs and GOPEs are better than Dems, always.
If I called DeSantis a RINO, I don’t recall doing it but I might have, that was a mistake. I don’t think he’s a RINO, I think he’s a GOPE and (my new term) INGRATE. INGRATE is even worse than GOPE. An INGRATE is someone who uses Trump and Trump supporters to win elections and then pushes Trump away or does something to harm Trump. An INGRATE is disloyal, disrespectful, and dishonest.
I want Trump to run and win in 2024. I will be gutted if he says he’s not running. If Trump doesn’t run then I want a true Trump ally to run. DeSantis is not my guy. If my opinion about him doesn’t change then I will not vote for DeSantis in any primary. Will I vote for him in a general election if he’s the GOP nominee? Most certainly, only because Dems are worse. I don’t want a Dem President ever again.
Regarding DeSantis’ current position as Florida Governor, he has been an effective Governor and has done many things conservatives would want him to do. I can’t fault him for that. Even more importantly, we do not want a Dem Governor in Florida in 2024. More for the latter reason than the former, if I were a Florida resident I would vote for DeSantis to be re-elected in November.
I’m sorry that you cannot comprehend complex reasoning. I’m not an all-or-nothing or black-and-white thinker. I have recognized that we cannot have perfection and what we should do is work toward incremental improvements. I’m mad that idiot voters gave away the House majority in 2018 and the Senate majority in 2020. These two things have caused Trump and all of us absolutely misery. I frequently post about ousting Dems in general elections and ousting RINOs in primaries. I frequently post about getting the House and Senate majorities back. What I’ve written about DeSantis in no way conflicts with these general statements I make.
Instead of spending so much time scrutinizing my comments, misquoting me, and then attacking me for perceived logical errors, you should spend time being productive. What is YOUR plan? How should we vote strategically to win back power and get better Republicans in office? Do tell.
Guaranteed my IQ and intellectual achievements far exceed anything you will even remotely approach.
But let’s put obvious truths to the side and step to a quicker beat. You have manipulated your message – it’s obvious to anyone who tracked the posts – and then backtracked a couple times with faux subtleties. Here’s ground truth – from the outset you verbally assaulted several posters who disputed your message. You weren’t mature enough to put your message out and let the assent/dissent chips fall where they may. You fomented the very splintering you carped about – get it? The ‘royal we’ was adopted as though you are the mouthpiece for each and every generation of MAGA acolytes – as though that tent can’t offer protection to more than one point-of-view. The MAGA fight will carry on with or without you. There will be different perspectives. There will have to be synthesis and unity or it will fail.
Grow up.
lol
I think his professional money men are undermining an effective non-professional leader … I think this good man is now officially distracted from his Florida State issues … and over his head
Amen
Laura Ingraham.
You are the guy that has convinced himself that you’re ahead of the curve, but is seemingly quite a few steps behind.
Trump remains eligible to run. The ONLY qualifications are detailed in the US constitution. Laws related to qualification written after the fact and not amending the constitution are invalid.
So which is it?
The Deep State has control over all levers of power and acts independently and unimpeded?
Or,
the Deep State is limited by the Rule of Law and can be stopped?
From where I sit, this is all headed toward a 10th Amendment crisis. What is the center of gravity, respectively, for the Federal government and the states such that planning can be adjusted accordingly? Pushing for President Trump is not going to be enough: a dual track approach is needed. The power to challenge is shifting to the states. One implication is that any state legislators/governors, etc., who are coopted will have to be replaced. In distinction to what is being proposed by commenters on this board, this implies DeSantis and all other compromised state representatives must be purged – now.
What’s the logic in play?
No. This is war. For all the dominos. And the DS is absolutely TERRIFIED of something getting out—-the truth.
That doesn’t move the ball forward…but…ok!
Tell us then your ideas for moving the ball forward. I see you complaining a lot but you never offer advice for what people should do or how they should vote. Take a stab at it …
Amen
What’s the CONOP and OPLAN?
No … DeSantis is a good man who needs to stay in Florida – but is being used by the demons who want to seize Florida while they convince him to chase their White House mystical carrot.
As good as DeSantis is, he’s no DJT.
Astonishingly, Trump avoided every snare set for him, so expect fabricated charges, and a kangaroo court. That’s all it takes to put anyone away in our broken judiciary.
God will be their judge, as well.
It is reported that Trump spent 15 years contemplating running for the presidency before he did.
That begs the question what the hell was he doing? because he certainly wasn’t evaluating talent.
He chose Mike Pence, Jeff Sessions, Christopher Wray, Omarosa, and a host of other back stabbing deep stater’s.
He did not pardon Assange or Snowden, the two guys who exposed the deep state.
Now, if he has documents that could expose the whole game, he is not releasing them?
People on this site seem to want a messiah who will tame Washington and think that Trump is the second coming, when what he appears to be is a guy with his heart in the right place but repeatedly makes very poor personnel choices.
As I have always said, it is much more important to have strong Governors like DeSantis and possibly Lake to basically tell Washington where to get off than it is to expect a president to drain the swamp.
If we do turn this ship of fools around, it is going to come from the states.
William….your strong Governor DeSantis voted for TPP …?????. Obviously he knows ZERO about promoting a healthy economy for our citizens. He has done nothing about vote machines in his State….Why one may ask….because the Republican GOPe says NO. Lake will make a great Governor but let’s let her get her feet wet before she faces the DC Great Satan.
Well said.
Ephesians 6:12-13 For we battle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world and against spiritual warfare in high places Wherefore we must put on the whole armor of God that you may withstand the evil day, and having done all, to stand. The whole chapter is for this day and age.
Then cling to God’s promise in Isaiah 54:17. No weapon formed against us (or our duly elected President Trump) shall prosper
I don’t think Trump, or any of us, anticipated the animosity his own party directed at him. Normally a GOP nominee and then November election winner is provided all sorts of assistance. Most of the GOP was fighting against him all throughout the primaries and after he won the election. I think it’s unprecedented.
And then, while all of that was going on, Clinton’s dossier was “leaked” and Trump became aware that he was being wiretapped.
Imagine being in that position. He had to act quickly. He had to figure out who were allies and who were not. It’s my understanding that Reince Priebus and maybe a few others were helpful, but the vast majority of people in the party were not.
Also don’t forget that voters totally screwed Trump over in 2018, the stupid ones at least, by giving away the House majority in 2018.
So save your complaints, pal. It’s obvious you’re butt hurt that anyone is complaining about DeSantis. You’ll have to get used to it if DeSantis does run for President some day.
The demons used the same tactics to cheat in 2018. Doubt me? Find Millennial Millie’s expose’ about the Kentucky Governor’s race. It was stolen Millie took the evidence to Matt Bevin and he did nothing about it
I was here in 2018 and witnessed so many people stating emphatically that they wouldn’t vote for their Republican candidates because they didn’t like them. That’s a great way to give seats, and majorities, to the Dems. I remember doing an analysis of several states and congressional districts which Trump won easily and yet the Republican Senate and Representative candidates lost. It’s what I continually refer to as “emotional” or “knee jerk” voting, the voter is upset that his/her preferred candidate did not win the primary so will punish the winning candidate by not voting or by voting for the Dem. People need to stop voting like that. It’s why we lose elections and majorities and power.
And by the way, there are plenty of people making those same kinds of statements now and I’m seriously worried that we’re going to lose the opportunity to take the House and Senate majorities away from the Dems. We can’t have 2 more years of Dems in complete control.
That is the RINORAT plan … their “mission accomplished” … they love being the loser.
“… his own party …” now realize that 100Million+ Patriots despise all of them … without us they have zero voters … so instead of doing what’s right for America … they will destroy America – to protect themselves.
DeSantis record speaks for itself and he is no RINO. He filled 3 vacancies on the Florida Supreme court with conservatives. He signed an executive order to end Common Core. He supported legislation to crack down on big tech and political censorship. He supports banning critical race theory, No child left behind and Race to the top. He opposes gun control and sanctuary cities. And the list goes ON. What exactly do you and others not like?
Wodiej,
I echo your assessment. DeSantis seems to have the bona fides proving a lengthy conservative record of effective leadership.
Sundance has prodigious understanding of politicians, but I’m keeping my own counsel on DeSantis, because what I see is a man operating from a principled freedom and free market, traditionalist play book.
wodiej, please read through Sundance’s articles on DeSantis and read the comments too. I know it’s a lot of reading but you’ll see all of the reasons why we’re not buying into the DeSantis hype.
@wodiej
Incorrect. DeSantis supports Red Flag Laws (gun control):
https://www.fox13news.com/news/desantis-hopes-red-flag-laws-will-help-thwart-future-shootings
That’s another reason I’m not a fan of the guy.
Those are easy positions for a RHINO to take….especially when you are in the voting minority or you know your bill won’t see the light of day…..Think wodiej.
That’s nonsense in a state Pelosi wants to place a Capitol Police office into and with a daily influx of New Yorkers, New Jersey’ites, etc. There’s a significant Democrat presence in the Palm Beach and surrounding areas. Significant enough to run a drug addicted, sexual fool in the last election who received more than a few votes.
None of this is ever static. FL is not exempt from the predatory machinations of the Deep State. Policies adopted by the governor matter and they are not ‘easy’ victories.
btw….while I agree it’s not a major line item…it’s RINO.
“Oh, they can fool some MAGAs until they start turning people’s fingers green. Desantis and kirk found that out this week.”
Would you please elaborate on this statement? Thanks!
Please elaborate about Kirk
It’s settled then! As a Floridian I am voting for Niki Fried! The RINOs must all be rooted out and destroyed. There is no compromising. There has to be consistency and unity of purpose.
Can’t get humorous jpeg to insert
Your assumption is wrong.
Start by questioning your assumption that Ron Desantis “is the strongest possible candidate,” and ask yourself why you have been led to believe that?
Not a hint of foreign policy outline.
Not a hint of a larger domestic outline.
DeSantis supported TPP and Fast-Track for Obama.
DeSantis reauthorized the FISA court.
Now ask yourself, without knowing anything about his geopolitical outlook, foreign policy or larger economic platform, how did you come to the conclusion that DeSantis was the best alternative?
Then look in the mirror and ask yourself, ‘have I been led to this position through carefully crafted social policy messaging’?
You’re all chasing the wrong rabbit.
Voting will not save us. Disagree? Well, let’s see what happens in a couple election cycles.
It’s called the Cassandra curse….look it up.
Voting will save us if people vote strategically instead of emotionally and realize that sometimes they have to vote for awful because the alternative is even more awful. Over time the situation will improve, we all just need to make a concerted effort and keep our eyes on the prize.
Nixon, Ford, Bush, Bush, McCain, Romney…
What do you think we’ve been doing for most of the last 50+ years?
Half a century later… I think that’s long enough to know see things “improve over time.” Are we there yet?
No, they must REFUSE to do that. Arrest the awful with the Fraud, for the awful and unlawful things they are doing, instead of letting them stand for election.
You cannot vote for awful just because of the worse awful. You MUST get JUSTICE into that office instead.
Arrest or charge?
What do you think we’ve been doing for most of the last 50+ years?
Not voting strategically, that’s for sure.
McCain and Romney were awful but they would have been better than Obama.
Paul Ryan was a toad, but the GOP majority from Jan 2017 to Jan 2019 was better than the Dem majority that followed.
Better? By what measuring rod?
Both are creatures of the Uniparty/Deep State. They not only tacitly approved in its establishment, they helped it operationally!
The GOP-controlled House didn’t impeach Trump. The Dem-controlled House did as soon as they could concoct a reason. Fortunately the GOP-controlled Senate shut down the trial pretty quickly, a Dem-controlled Senate would have turned it into a protracted circus and possibly removed Trump from office if they had enough votes. And a Dem-controlled Senate never would have confirmed Kavanaugh or Barrett.
I can easily list a dozen more big important differences. Like filibuster. Like expanding the Supreme Court.
I just could not stomach Romney. Wrote in Ron Paul.
I’m tired of being forced to ‘vote’ for the cleanest dirty shirt.
OK, then what’s your plan? How should we vote?
I notice there is always silence when I ask for people’s plans. 🙂
That’s the last stage in a process. It should not be the deciding factor.
I am certain you will not disagree the problem here is the Republican Party. I have a relative who was recruited from 10th grade on (tenth friggin grade!) for Summer internships in various local city councils and one retired Senator’s office. He was subsequently enticed with University scholarships. The Democrats groom their ideologues; they search the databases, select the correct profiles and lower the bait for the minnows to bite on. Do the Republicans have the same focused recruiting processes? IMO you are correct that voting the right people into office (assuming that the vote is fraud free) is the peaceful change agent. Hate to say it, but that is now a business process that requires nurturing the right candidates. It’s tricky because it amounts to something many of us detest – ideological litmus tests and…ummm…..”grooming”.
It’s why (well, one reason) many believe a new party must be erected from the ashes of the Republican failures. The counter has persistently been that by the time such a creature is birthed and matured to adulthood/viability the game has already been lost. So, folks like me in FL are forced to vote for Senator Rubio knowing full well he is a SSCI puppet/protector for McConnell/Warner. The process has to produce better candidates.
NOT if the VOTING isn’t coupled with FORCING TRUE JUSTICE TO BE DONE – even TODAY several reports of Elections being rejected as Politicians who did not earn their seats righteously OVERTURN JUSTICE, in one case by REJECTING the RIGHTION RECALL election in California, in several other cases, State and Federal officials overturning actions that SHINE THE LIGHT on FRAUDULENT 2020 and 2022 Elections, and declaring the FRAUD to be “VALID” when all in those states KNOW it is NOT.
And the Farce on J6 and on Trump at Mar-A-Lago all being aimed at Trump Candidacy – other Valid Candidates have been disqualified by FRAUDULENT office occupiers IN THIS LAST several MONTHS for the MID-TERMS.
We cannot change those things by MERE VOTING.
We HAVE to do ALL it takes to get the VALID VOTE counted and the FRAUD CLEANED OUT.
And that is going to require a Return to calling on God Jehovah, Jesus His Son, and Holy Spirit – and Declaring Him to be our Main Source of Strength and Power to get things turned Right, as He did in our Foundation and and has been doing for thousands of years.
EXCEPT where the People, especially those claiming to be HIS PEOPLE have said, Oh, God doesn’t do that anymore, and reject Him and raise DOUBT against Him while DECLARING continually that our enemies “always win”. In violation of James 3 and Matthew 18:18-20. and Ignoring Harvest in Matthew 25:31-46.
I mean! Really! The news declares that California recall “FAILED” – because the Dirty Politicians refused to allow the COUNT to be OBSERVED and VALIDATED.
We all KNOW that recall did NOT Fail! That keeping the dirty politician IS FRAUD!
That isn’t an ELECTION “FAIL”.
But it doesn’t matter if We The People do NOT Force the True Validation of the TRUE VOTE. With JUSTICE.
So NO, “VOTING” ALONE is NOT the answer. We’ve allowed Fraud in the elections to be ENDEMIC. Ever since it first began in earnest over 100 yrs ago!
NO! Several “Constitutional Amendments” around 1920 DID NOT LEGITIMATELY get Ratified! And neither did the ERA.
And the Fraudulent Govt being tolerated since then doesn’t destroy the validity of the RRATIFIED Constitution of the USA.
This nation is hanging in the balance – letting them steal the elections, NOW – TODAY, truly IS FINALLY the Last Straw. Failing THAT, clawing at the Dirt walls of the pit with our fingernails isn’t going to matter, any more at all. They are openly declaring they have no use for the world’s population, and there was no outcry about that announcement.
Tell people how to vote in November. Let’s start.
Everyone knows I’m saying try to oust the RINOs in the primaries but vote all-GOP in November. IMO our #1 goal should be to strip power from Dems and #2 goal should be to get rid of the RINOs.
If you think that’s not correct, then what should voters do?
And before you answer, ask yourself this question I’ve been asking in the past several days:
Do you think Trump, if he’s running again in 2024, would prefer GOP majorities in the House and Senate, or Dem majorities?
If your only solution is to vote “ for awful” — then you may as well not vote at all. I am not advocating to not vote.
I am saying we better make sure there are no more “awful or offal” selected or elected: Bushes, Cheneys, Romney, McCain, McConnell, Graham, Crenshaw, Hutchinson, etc.
These are only a few RINO Republicans. The Democrats aren’t worth mentioning.
I trust Sundance’s exposure/reminder of how DeSantis voted on issues while in Congress. We do need to look at the big picture in depth— and not how DeSantis is being reformatted since becoming governor.
If you don’t vote then you give power to the Dems. How is that going to work out for us?
Do you think Trump, if he’s running again in 2024, would prefer GOP majorities in the House and Senate, or Dem majorities? I’m sure he would much prefer GOP majorities. Let’s make it happen. Vote all-GOP in November.
Watch Steve Bannon’s CPAC speech.
They have been cheating for decades you knew that surely!!!
2020 they were forced to do it on a national level, they were not about to let Trump continue.
They went on an all out blitz used every crooked scheme imaginable
Sure, then what’s the plan?
I get a lot of responses to my advice for voting, a lot of criticism, but NOBODY offers an alternative plan.
Right. So you choose leprosey rather than cancer? Great idea.
Do not tolerate such a choice. If a McDonald’s offered you dog poop burgers and cat poop burgers what would you select?
I’d go somewwhere else that offered me what I want, not what the annointed offer to me.
What’s your plan then? If you are a Trump supporter, how are we going to set up Congress so that it’s better for a Trump win in 2024 and better for Trump’s second term as President?
Trump is a person. Recommend you use a placeholder term for the core values/principles/policies in play. MAGA serves that purpose.
But that is the question no one seems to have an answer for. Where is that somewhere else? If you look at how the left took control of the Democrat Party and dragged it ever further to the left over the last 100 years they were very patient. And strategic. And they knew that you ratchet in the direction you want to go and you do not get it all in one stroke or one election or even two elections.
It takes discipline and patience and the maturity to not throw the baby out with the bathwater. Because with babies you always have bath water and with politicians, you always have flaws. You make the best choice you can and keep pushing.
And be wise, educated, and informed, AND clean up our behaviors.
And, most especially, pray
You sir are a provocateur… I love it!
I thought that was a GIVEN!
We KNOW WELL or we are spiritually DEAD – that only by returning heartily to God and supporting our Call on Him, KNOWING HE WANTS TO DO FOR US what He did for Israel to deliver her from Egypt with The Red Sea MOMENT, if we give Him the opportunity as He Calls us to do (2 Chron 7:13-15 as demonstrated in such as 2 Chron 20 and 1 Kings 22, etc, etc, etc…)
We still have to sort out who is who and what is what – God is fed up with us tolerating rampant sin then asking why HE doesn’t fix the MESS while we pet on the UNREPENTENT ones who DELIBERATELY cause it. (Romans 1)
When God fixes things, He fixes the Mess AND the Perpetrators both – Forgiveness is for the Repentant. And NOT for the ones who do nothing but pride themselves on tolerating Sin. (1st & 2nd Corinthians)
It won’t matter by 2024. We’ve let it go to the precipice now! This can has nowhere down any road to be kicked to anymore. This is the Final Wall.
It’s time to use our Constitutional Authority against an UNCONSTITUTIONAL govt that has made itself Fraudulent and UNAUTHORIZED – and DO THE REPAIRS, as Jefferson admonished.
An elective despotism was not the government we fought for. – Thomas Jefferson
Leave no authority existing not responsible to the people. – Thomas Jefferson
God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people can not be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. We have had 13 states independent 11 years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half for each state. What country ever existed a century and a half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure. ~ Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson: An elective despotism was not the government we fought for, but one which should not only be founded on true free principles, but in which the powers of government should be so divided and balanced among general bodies of magistracy, as that no one could transcend their legal limits without being effectually checked and restrained by the others.
Henry Adams recorded Thomas Jefferson’s attitude toward the Federal Government:
“Not three years had passed since Jefferson himself penned…the Kentucky Resolutions, in which he declared ‘that in cases of an abuse…where powers are assumed which have not been delegated, a nullification of the act is the rightful remedy…
Each State has a natural right…to nullify of their own authority all assumptions of power by others within their limits; that without this right they would be under the dominion, absolute and unlimited, of whosoever might exercise this right of judgment for them.'”
Henry Adams wrote further regarding Thomas Jefferson:
“He went so far as to advise that every State should forbid, within its borders, the execution of any act of the general government ‘not plainly and intentionally authorized by the Constitution’…
Et Tu Maximus?
It may not save us, I agree. But it is a part of the rescue plan.
Maximus-Cassius is on the right track!
Soapbox, Ballot Box, Ammo Box….
Which, if any of these remains a viable path to restore our once great republic?
Sadly, it really is just that simple!
Start by questioning your assumption that Ron Desantis “is the strongest possible candidate,” and ask yourself why you have been led to believe that
EXACTLY.
Battered Conservative Syndrome. We all have it, to some degree, because we have been deceived, lied to, abandoned, ridiculed undercut, ad nauseum.
We are learning on the job, like Nehemiah, whose people rebuilt Jerusalem, building with one hand, and yet wielding a sword at the same time..
I will only vote for Trump, no Trump?… I stay home.
And that’s the mindset that bothers me. If there’s no Trump we are done. At least that’s what you are willing to have happen. We have a toxic only Trump virus. However when there seems to be no one else, for a lack of a better word, “pure” enough to be the standard bearer for MAGA then does MAGA become more about the candidate and less about America?
In my opinion the only Trump is just as destructive as the never Trump.
But then again I admit that I’m worried about our pinning everything we have on one person and not having anyone in the wings if the worst thing happens and Trump is not able to run.
I am training myself now to endure the Dems extreme legislative penchants.
Well good luck with that!
My point being if Trump gets disqualified… we could be facing 8 years of the Dem horde.
So, brace yourself now.
NO!
MY TRUST is in GOD! GOD is the One Who can and WILL keep this Nation, unless HIS PEOPLE refuse 2 Chronicles 7:13-15. (2 Chronicles 20)
GOD is the One Who has anointed Donald Trump for this hour as He did Abraham for Israel, Moses for the Red Sea Moment, and David, a fallible human who loved God with ALL his whole entire heart and earnestly repented when he did wrong.
And God had no “BACK UP PLANS” in these and many other cases and situations.
I am not leaning on TRUMP for this success.
I am leaning on GOD for the PLANS HE MADE for the USA before the beginning of Time, for the USA to be here in this TIME of the WORLD STAGE, for the Sake of Israel His People and His Covenant with Abraham, of which America is a partaker who Chose to base this nation on God Jehovah’s Covenant in all our Founding Documents.
President Trump is ONE COG, but he is GOD’S COG.
GOD IS ABLE TO KEEP him!
This Story is already unprecedented. It will be to the end of it.
You make up your mind on dry ground. Like Noah did.
You don’t get cold feet when the waters are over all the last of the mountain tops.
You trust God – or you don’t.
What do you think Noah felt when he felt that the ark was beginning to lift off the ground, and begin to move and shift a little bit, before it was fully lifted on the waters alone….
You can trust God to execute judgment fairly and equitably.
I’m looking all about me and I see a society that’s not only gone to seed.
But also has degenerated to level that’s shocking.
Except for the remnant of God’s people scattered here and there America (Western society) has become an abomination.
Even countries around the world who can’t be bought or forced to comply are repulsed and disgusted with our decadent moral ideology.
In the end we will find ourselves friendless and rejected by the world because of our filth, isn’t that happening even now when other countries ridicule, scorn and refuse to hold dialogue.
I mean we got known pedophiles in leadership positions practically in every institution across America.
Who knows this any better than the rest of the world.
The larger percentage of Americans might be blind but the world that observes certainly is not.
I am training myself NOW to expect GOD’S BEST – and for Him to bring Justice on the totally corrupt and fraudulent and the Sunken in Deviance and Evil Concupiscence.
I am training my mouth to not allow itself to utter declarations of PREMATURE VICTORY upon the Devil’s Crowd, and to NOT steer my ship into the REEFS on purpose, rather than into Seaways of Great Victory by God’s Own Hand. ~ James 3
I am declaring the Lord’s Works in Victory over His enemies as He brings them soundly to utter defeat and destruction out of their own labor, gaining richly of their own Harvest deliberately planted by their own hand, grown by their own choice of Seed.
“For I know Whom I have believed and I know that He is Able to keep that which I’ve committed unto Him against That Day!” ~ 2 Tim 1:12
You know the old saying. We all know it.
Your Money is where your mouth is.
And your Doubt is Stout!
– Stout has great strength. Be careful what you lean it into.
MAGA is economic nationalism – none of the politicians have the money or name recognition to put America first even if they wanted too. And most of them don’t want to as they do not identify with America’s workers or for the younger ones have an ideology that wasn’t shaped on free trade and muh corporations.
They would never assemble an economic team like Trump because they wouldn’t know how and if they did by accident McConnell and others would nip that in the bud right quick.
Indeed.
Seems few truly understand what PDJT accomplished, and can and must accomplish if we are to survive World War Xi.
No one else even approaches his stature and capabilities and courage.
No one.
It’s not that there’s no one else pure enough. It’s that if Trump is not allowed to run, it means that our system is so corrupt that elections are nowhere near fair.
If Trump were freely choosing not to run, I would probably find another candidate to vote for. But if he wants to run, and clearly he does, but the system won’t allow it, then he system is so broken that I certainly don’t want to take part in it.
My first issue is that if someone comes up in the ranks and is a seeming challenge to Trump they’re shot down as GOPe and that’s it. Not pure enough. Which leaves us with no one. Our eggs are all in one basket. So MAGA
is pretty much done when Trump is. Rather depressing but it’s what I see.
There is NO OTHER on the Horizon.
President Trump is the one who is anointed for this in this same hour.
There was no other Abraham, no other Moses, no other than David.
The majority of the rest were not so.
However, it is a Fact that George Washington had No equal at all and that God moved with him even as He did with Abraham, Moses and David.
We do NOT have at this Time any such APPARENTS as even Joshua and Caleb, though all have some favorites, there is no obvious mantle for a 2nd in Command.
When that happens and rarely does it happen…. well…. right now, there just is not any 2nd in Command.
There are some great folks who are helping to support President Trump, and there are some interesting Mantles in place in America at this time – but no secondaries for that One Place. – at this time.
God isn’t planning on anything happening to President Trump, before God is through with him in This Hour. And I’ve seen some Remarkable renewing of the youthful Strength of some amazing people this last 20 yrs, True Miracles as visible as someone growing a new Leg.
Very Remarkable Visible Miracles.
He can do that for Donald Trump, too. And frankly, that is far more likely at this point in time than for God to “change His Mind” about him and Melania!
As Trump has said, he was one of them before he became one of us.
This can happen again and again. It just takes an honest God-fearing man or woman to stand up and be recognized. One and then another and another… We have armies of people awaiting to support the new MAGA’s in our midst. They may not be leaders yet but with our help they can be.
We can recognize these new MAGA’s by the attacks from the media and the democrats and rinos. Then we can rally to support them. Hopefully Trump will not fail. But he has been an enormous success because he has shown us the way. That is his legacy.
And that is why we are where we are thanks to people with your attitude. Sad, but true.
I mean no disrespect to any one here, what we all witnessed Trump accomplish in his short tenure was remarkable. I cannot forgive the RINOe and Dems intolerance towards him.
No one else deserves my vote.
Trump didn’t ‘deserve’ my vote in 2016. I voted for him because he wasn’t Hillary. He ‘earned’ my vote in 2020. Now I, we, have a chance to vote for the greatest President of our lifetimes for the third time. if it takes pitchforks, so be it.
Glad it wasn’t your first choice….Cruz…er.
I have learned in life that a commitment towards a principle has to be unwavering.
I am that to President TRUMP’s policies… unwavering!
I don’t want nuance, I want conviction… Trump has that quality.
If Trump decides to not run then we’ll have to choose from the best of the candidates who do run. But it’s not automatically DeSantis as certain people are trying to lead us to believe. There will be other candidates.
And if Trump runs then Trump will be the GOP nominee and, God willing, President again.
At least for me, Trump is the only candidate whose policies I identify with.
Ron went to an ivy league school, he is an elitist.
I can think of some other people I wouldn’t mind voting for in 2024 if Trump decides to not run. (I pray he does run but I feel like he’s done so much, and we let him down several times, I feel guilty asking him to do more.)
If he decides to not run… well that will be a different situation.
In that case I still won’t abide a UniParty pick.
I think Cozette has a point, it’s Trump, or, barring that, Trump fis, Don Jr.
Don’t give me he isn’t eligible, take that up with Obama.
Two wrongs don’t make a right. I won’t vote for a 14th amendment brat.
My folks fought in the Revolution. They settled, tamed, and created this nation.
Stop shoving immigrants in my American face and telling me to vote for them. NO!
Fellow Southerner ….wise up…..If Don Jr. is the best to carry on Trump policies then thats who should get the nod. They changed the rules to their favor. They change the laws as well. This is war…..and we must fight to win. How do you think your “Folks” won the revolutionary war? It wasn’t by following the customary rules like the Brits I can tell you that……again wise up… Don Jr, or someone else….lets go with the one who will MAGA,
Going to, having a degree from, an ivy league school does not automatically identify a person as an elitist. I speak from personal experience.
Be careful with your broad brush.
I am not a De Santis supporter, but his alma mater is not what disqualifies him for me.
My apologies sir.
It is the FLAG that DeSantis is waving at this time and is NOT taking down. That is why he was too busy meeting with GOPe to have anything Positive to say regarding Trump after it was Publicly known about the Florida raid on Mar-A-Lago.
So, IN THAT CONTEXT, it does matter in the points of Sides issues in DeSantis’ columns of Which way he floats his boat.
What extraordinary “TIMING” – so convenient and all….
Trump went to Wharton at U Penn, did he not? U Penn is an Ivy League, is it not? By your logic Trump is an elitist. Am I wrong here?
But he doesn’t float his boat that way, at all. Never did.
And had his dad send him to a military school of his own free will and personal request, to get what he felt would be appropriate training for the life he intended to live, and has lived.
But DeSantis didn’t?
Man, there are some mind reading judgmentalists here.
Go back to the post that mentions how he voted in Congress…..definitely GOPe.
Yep….not my circle of friends either….
Agree with your first sentence and second is generally the case also. Trump is of course an exception as he attended UPenn.
President Trump also went to an Ivy League school.
As I have said here before, we need to be seeking out and recruiting good people, from our own communities. Finding, recruiting, FUNDING.
There ARE good people out there, but they and we need guidance, and great divine grace.
Can you please point someone out, who has accomplished something, managed something, more than being a talking head to raise campaign funds?
no Trump?… stay home? Isn’t that what the DemonParty’s conniving last hope this will happen; with all eyes on their vote-thieving cheating ways?
If the Uniparty chose both candidates, where’s the option?
There’s a reason we are fighting like Hell for PDJT.
There is only one.
Agreed.
AMEN!
So be it, maybe if the house flips this cycle, they can stall the Dem horde for a while.
Good Grief, Charlie Brown.
Please go SOAK in a deep dip-dying pool of Jesus Living Water/Bread of Life and Holy Spirit saturation in Faith. John 20:22 – INHALE, for God’s Sake!
Back atcha. Good grief, the Bible thumping do-gooder, self-righteous, and judgmental is strong on this board.
Caught an aligator gar when I was a kid…at least thats what my Granddad called it…Mean lookin fish. Caught in brackish waters of Dog River off Mobile Bay. Had a long snout full of teeth. Only fish uglier was a oyster fish….why did I bring this up….you just stirred an old memory.
“What Difference does it make?” — if all the candidates are just paper doll cut-outs for what ever Georgi Porgy and Santa Klaus want to give you for Christmas.
I recommend you chose God Jehovah, instead. And PRAY. And having done all to STAND! Eph 6:10-18.
And seriously consider 1 & 2 Corinthians.
2 Chronicles 7:13-15.
You chose to worship PDJT. So, stop with the Bible spouting. You worship a MAN.
My biggest fear and that’s what I’ve been trying to say without actually saying it, is that some people are acting like they in a cult when it comes to MAGA. And it’s not Trumps fault, it’s their own. I like Trump but I hate when people get on a holy tear about him and then start spewing nonsense about him being on par with Abraham and Moses. How presumptuous! You also can’t bring up what mistakes or missteps Trump has made because then they start either insulting you or blaming others for what he did. I’m from Missouri, love him or leave him our one famous man who became president notoriously said, the buck stops here. But not so with some on our side. It’s so tiring. They have put their trust in Trump but not God in my opinion. Sadly as a Christian I see our country being under God’s judgment. Our churches are a mess and teach godless doctrines, and that’s not even the woke ones. We deserve whatever God has planned for for us, hopefully to correct us. Don’t want it myself but I’m not going to fool myself into believing it’s all because of DC and their mess. Pray for our nation. And pray the churches repent.
I agree, Cynthia. Trump is just a man and I am very happy with most of what he did as president and grateful for the good things. His blind spot about his bloody vaccines is hugely concerning however because that is what the Deep state is using to Institute digital slavery with the digital ID system.
In fact, if they succeed with that then nothing else we do really will matter, at least in the realm of politics.
There is only one Man who was perfect and that is our Lord. Everyone else is an imperfect tool for God’s will. Of course there is the issue that the Lord does not call the qualified, he qualifies the called. And that can very well include Ron DeSantis.
Donald Trump said a lot of things when he was a liberal Democrat that would give us pause as well but some people seem to have forgotten that.
Above all, put not your trust in princes but in God and keep praying and do the best you can with the selections you have. Do not abandon the field in a fit of childish pique because that is a guarantee of the Enemy’s triumph and it is exactly what they want us to do.
Sundance, I know there is much more we would need to learn regarding where DeSantis is on some domestic and certainly on foreign policy…IF he were to run for President.
What I see is based not on what he did in Congress so much as what he has done and is doing as Governor. Is it all a ruse? Is he BS-ing all of us like a great actor for the big setup? DeSantis is not a good actor…so I don’t see that.
All I can rely on are actions. RD has been the best MAGA Governor in the nation. His leadership by taking strong action FOR our freedoms and AGAINST the breakdown actions of the leftist playbook makes all other state leaders pale in comparison.
Thanks for your reply, but within it you clearly are sold on RD being a sell out. A lot of us, for good reason, are not, or are willing to wait and see.
It’s abundantly clear in the post August 8 environment that DeSantis is in fact a sell out. He’s made it clear.
Amen!
I agree on the wait and see and as someone who’s been actively involved since Reagans early days conservatives tend to eat their own by people who talk themselves into being the only perfect candidate and that’s themselves.
If CRS, wokeism and social policies are your primary issues for the presidency, then DeSantis ranks high.
However, I view social policies as the lowest bar of presidential qualifications. Partly because you can address them at a local level. What you cannot address at a local level is “corporatism” and Wall Street influence in our economy; offshoring jobs; shaping policy to the benefit of multinationals, and/or expanding the role of the foreign policy institutions.
Those are the presidential outlooks that I pay attention to. From that starting point, DeSantis has no expressed qualifications.
“…What you cannot address at a local level is “corporatism” and Wall Street influence in our economy; offshoring jobs; shaping policy to the benefit of multinationals, and/or expanding the role of the foreign policy institutions.
Those are the presidential outlooks that I pay attention to. From that starting point, DeSantis has no expressed qualifications.”
I would ask…what has he done within the state that suggest any of this “corporatism” is being imported, or propagated, here and now? If you suggest he doesn’t have the qualifications or experience…that is potentially a weakness. Does that mean he will or is succumbing to the elites with a pay for play? I don’t see it, nor does a meeting here or a non-gesture there prove it.
We agree to disagree. No one man, or woman, is the answer, but we shouldn’t destroy the second largest polling conservative behind PDJT (by a strong margin) on suspicions.
Florida passed a law preventing the cruise lines from requiring vaccines for passengers. Why isn’t it being enforced? Isn’t that within his powers?
https://www.tampabay.com/news/florida-politics/2021/05/24/desantis-signs-big-tech-bill-with-new-rules-for-facebook-twitter/
A Disney carve-out
During the news conference Monday at Florida International University in Miami, DeSantis did not mention that mobile platforms operated by companies that own theme parks or a large entertainment complex, such as Disney, will not be subject to the new law.
Companies like Disney, a big contributor in Florida politics, were carved out of the measure just before the Legislature approved the bill and sent it to the governor.
“There were concerns about things that I didn’t quite think that bill was going to impact,” DeSantis said on May 7 when asked by reporters. “At the end of the day, that’s just how this process works sometimes.”
ICE wtf is going on man?
you dont have a bull in the china shop with anyone else.
you have commented to long to challenge the place you have loved for years.
u do not disagree. i know it. you dont fullly see the angle that is being presented, and when you do you will fight as hard as or hard than the host.
look dude
Really? You really believe no one should challenge ideas expressed here if they come from the guy that runs this website?
I would like to think Sundance enjoys a polite and well reasoned debate, something ICE is giving him
Gov. DeSantis remained silent for too many hours after:
– The FBI came into HIS state and brought operatives from Washington DC to raid the home of a FLORIDA citizen, who just happens to be a former US President, as well as the de facto HEAD of the party De Santis belongs to.
– When De Santis finally broke his silence, his remarks were weak and quite forgettable, and he never mentioned President Trump by name once.
– Name one Republican politician who has quoted in their own remarks what DeSantis said about the Mar A Lago raid.
– Name one CTH commenter besides Sundance who can accurately quote what DeSantis’s words WERE, in speaking about the most consequential and shocking event ever in our political history.
– As both Mike Pence and Pete Buttigieg have proven, along with Romney, being a state official is far from adequate preparation for the Presidency.
-President Trump wrote the book on leadership that DeSantis has basically followed in dealing with small state matters, i.e, respond quickly and firmly, don’t waver, and make sure the public knows what you think.
– However, when addressing the BIGGEST and most explosive and possibly dangerous political event in this country’s history, he completely dropped the ball. Again, it took place in DeSantis’s STATE and targeted a Florida citizen.
I think he’s been creative and done a good job in many aspects as Governor, but I would never consider him ready for the Presidency now.
My choice , either as a VP for President Trump or a possible candidate if Trump decides not to run, would likely be Kristi Noem, Josh Hawley, perhaps Glenn Younkin.
How about Trump-Palin! Talk about a 1-2 punch! I’m saying that a little tongue-in-cheek, but I loved her then, and I still do.
Toby….Noem…PLEEEASE…..Younkin………..Man….Scary.
Interesting. Those three have all been much weaker than DeSantis.
You make some great points…It’s good to see people with clarity in their thinking who don’t remind one of Pavlov’s dogs or the Jim Jones Cult…. Using the argument that one isn’t qualified and doesn’t have enough experience in reference to Desantis, thankfully wasn’t applied to Donald Trump in 2016. Under the general consensus about Desantis among the comments here it’s surprising that Kari Lake hasn’t been sent to the gulag with Desantis since she praised him at her rally. The comments have been bipolar at best and indicitive of borderline personality disorders at worst. Iceman as you can tell, mass psychosis is real.
Not qualified was used hundreds if not thousands of times about Trump by both sides.
Using Psych metaphors to describe those who support Trump did not impress.
Being experienced in Politics….MO……means 0. Although Trump was definitely experienced in dealing with politicians. Trumps standout qualifications were “building” and running a successful company. He was uniquely a blue collar “billionaire” that related to the ordinary patriotic citizens. He stepped into the race knowing the issues most important to us….immigration and economy. Issues by the way that DeSantis was either absent on or in direct conflict with.
It’s not just “suspicion”. DeSantis is leaving no doubt anymore, nor the deep state.
Also remember what Milton Friedman said about electing politicians. He said you choose, not good people, but people you can persuade to be good by putting the right kind of pressure on them.
Trump authorized the purchase of tens of thousands of ventilators (from corporations) to battle Covid after hospitals and doctors knew they were causing more harm than good. Trump still brags about fast-tracking the vaccines, a process that involved scuttling 100 years of medical knowledge, vaccines that have enriched Big Pharma (corporations) by hundreds of $billions, and the same vaccines have killed tens of thousands of Americans and injured over a million. That’s a big part of Trump’s record on “corporatism”.
If he was stupid enough to continue that that is a big red mark against..and if he did know that is a bigger giant red mark against him because that means he knew they were killing. I got beyond zero-ed out financially from the lockdown. I got a PPE loan. I had to pay back that 1100 bucks. The corporatists didn’t and some made off with tens of millions they did not have to pay back. I shoulda been a corporation under the PTrump lockdown rules. Alas i was just an independent contractor and unworthy of the big money or blank cheque. To act like PTrump is anti-corporatist is disenegenuous. Same with contrasting DeSantis versus Tump with that as the barometer.
Please tell me, from whom could he have purchased the ventilators? Do you or your next door neighbor make them?
Why purchase them at all? They killed people. Vents and “run death is near” were the “Fauci” standard pushed for “treatment” (murder) of people with CON-vid in Horse-SPIT-alls.
Sorry I was not more clear. The point I was trying to make is that Trump’s purchase of ventilators was nothing more than a sop to corporations. They were useless at that time, and they are still sitting in their packaging collecting dust.
On the contrary they got pressed into service and the hospitals were paid $45,000 for each patient who died when they put them on a ventilator. They were also paid thousands more for everyone they injected with the deadly remdesivir which killed 54% of the patients in Africa clinical trial. The whole thing is rotten.
When covid-19 first hit, the lies were flying fast and furiously. Fauci and the Scarf Lady were on the payroll of Big Pharma, and they were the health experts foisted on President Trump.
He held DAILY press conferences, with medical advisors present, answered questions, and turned to the ONLY medical source available, the CDC, to advise us all on protocols, vaccines, and pandemics.
The lockdowns and horrors at nursing homes and confusion about masks and vaccines was substantially the fault of state governors.
They became so obsessed with their newfound power under the emergency situation that businesses were shut down, people lost jobs, people got sick from the vaccines as well as the virus.
I agree it was a terrible time. But the Democrats WANTED it to be a terrible time. In reality, Trump’s swift action to get the pharmaceutical companies working on a vaccine was a positive thing, despite it being abused by the pharmaceutical companies that played both sides.
Agencies like HHS and NHS failed us. Doctors and medical experts, with only a few rare exceptions, took everything Fauci said as truth. If anyone is to blame for the failed vaccines, the deaths and permanent illness, the lockdowns, the complete disruption of our society and our economy, it is Anthony Fauci.
Trump’s instinct to get the development of vaccines moving was the right one. The problem was their collusion with Fauci and whoever was paying them to drag their feet.
Biden still worships Fauci. But for some reason, some of the vaccines seem to help some people. Isn’t that odd?
Exactly. All the criticism against Trump uses hind sight because we know about Fauci now.
What I’d like to know was where was all this information about Fauci for the 20 some years he was in charge?
It is not hindsight.
The medical community knew at the end of March 2020 that ventilators were killing people, Covid was only lethally dangerous for a very small demographic cohort, and that it was senseless, useless and counter-productive to shut down the economy and mandate all of the other random acts that were foisted on a scared public. Trump himself knew this. He realized the 2-week lockdown he mandated needed to be lifted. He had said it and stated it. But he lacked the political will and moral courage to follow his instincts. DeSantis did.
Trump stepping into the limelight with his daily press conferences was disastrous. He hung the failed response around his own neck.
He was too weak to fire Fauci and Birx. Trump, to his credit, hired Scott Atlas who understood the disaster of the policy decisions Trump had made. Trump, to his everlasting shame, provided no political cover to Atlas and left him hanging.
Meanwhile, DeSantis was getting just as much awful press as Trump was, but DeSantis was doing the right thing, press clippings be damned.
I loved Trump’s first three years in office, but he failed miserably in the final year.
We can’t let him off the hook that easily. Dr Scott Atlas was on President Trump’s advisory team very early and he knew the truth about the covid and also about the so-called vaccines … which are actually mRNA genetic injections rather than conventional vaccines.
But President Trump went with Fauci’s suggestions instead of Dr atlas’s. Ron DeSantis on the other hand has been much more on the ball about the whole covid scam. One of his medical advisors is a member of America’s Frontline doctors so I believe Ron does get it on this subject. Meanwhile president Trump keeps bragging about being the father of the deadly vaccines and this is a HUGE problem.
Should have stuck the “fauxines” with his “Right to Try” legislation.
But I agree that he was stuck listening to the “experts”, and by the time they rolled out the jabs he was done.
Any knowledge that ventilators do more harm than good at the beginning of Covid was not learned until years later.
Every action by President Trump that is now ridiculed is using hind sight to judge him and proves the old adage “no good deed goes unpunished”.
C. Bensing, You simply do not know what you are talking about regarding the timeline of realizing the efficacy of ventilators. Facts are facts, and it’s pointless to argue about them.
My priority IS none of the ephemerals you listed. My concern is who is going to be the one taking responsibility and getting arrested for kicking off and assisting the EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT of the VACCINES. And who is gonna arrest them is the big kicker. It ain’t gonna be PTrump. He has dirty hands here.
Ephemerals?
Hell no.
Existentials.
Exactly! And I find myself realizing that it will take someone who has incredible resources, strength of ego and character, as well as the intellect and machinations to challenge, fight, and overthrow the indemnible Deep State Swamp dwelling So called Elite who frantically carry water for their Globalist Evil Puppeteers. The Uniparty with all 4 branches of government as Sundance often lays out in addition to the mockingbird media will eat just about any other candidate alive. DeSantis needs more than hometown BDE to get in this ring and truly win. Will he put his life, family’s life on the line to stand against America’s greatest enemy within and fight for We The People? Who is truly willing to answer that call?
Which serious candidate, if PDJT does not run, has these qualifications if DeSantis is not it? Rafael? Nimrata? Little Marco? Serious question. If not PDJT, and not DeSantis, who is the closest serious candidate?
“RD has been the best MAGA Governor in the nation.”?
This is how Texas’ governor reacted to the raid on President Trump’s house.
https://thetexan.news/gov-abbott-says-texas-will-hire-dissatisfied-fbi-agents-after-raid-on-trumps-mar-a-lago/
That is a MAGA reaction…….. desantis’ reaction, not so much MAGA……. on a dangerous attack on President Trump.
DeSantis’ initial comment was nearly identical to Trump’s.
You calling Trump non-MAGA?
icthematix comparison was to governors in the nation.
Thus my answer. Comparing one governor’s reaction to another.
If you are implying de-san-tis is as MAGA as the builder of MAGA, President Trump,
you are getting close to GOPe territory which probably wouldn’t be a good idea since the GOPe is a vessel with a huge crack in it and is sinking rapidly……. witness the huge loses of the GOPe primary candidates.
“Let’s go Brandon!”
i watched his entire speech. I PROMISE YOU ON MY LIFE. you cant find the SECOND HE SAID THAT. it takes to much effort to scroll that rumble, i did it for 40 minutes. and the speech for 47
And yet we know that Abbott isn’t MAGA he’s running for re-election.
BETO is that you?
Cynthia is right. Abbott has been roundly trashed here early and often as MAGA lite or GOPrick.
At the same time, posters here were singing DeSantis’ praise.
Better tie your head on tight around here.
Opinions change 180 degrees at 180 mph on the daily.
You don’t want to get caught not supporting the flavor of the day until the flavor of the day is discarded as “not PDJT” enough.
SMH.
It’s crazy. One minute we’re on here trashing people like Dan bongino or Tucker Carlson as controlled opposition and the next we’re posting all of their reactions and their monologelues as if they’re modern day prophets and suddenly they seem to be Maga until someone tells us not trust them because they support such and such. I do know they seem to be friends with Trump and in fact hang out with him when time allows. But they’re still not good enough unless they’re pushing a specific narrative all the time that those in control agree with. It gets confusing and we end up going through cycles where we trust these people, and then Sundance says not to so we hate them only to have posts of them taking it to the system or their insight and we start praising and agreeing with them so then we trust them again only to have a post deriding them bget put out and off we go again on and on.
I’m not sure what to believe any longer. But I am trying to take everything with a grain of salt. Watch and wait.
Nah I’ve got an AR 15 and intend to keep it. And proving the point that you won’t refute anything just insult people…. I do believe abbot has been called to the floor for GOPe many times on here especially.
DeSantis was the first governor wbo actually followed the science and reversed course on Covid to great effect. Trump panicked in March 2020 and realized it in early April, but never fired Fauci. I voted for Trump twice. I think he is being railroaded by the Fourth Branch. But when the chips were down, he failed to lead throughout all of 2020. He allowed the lockdowns, talked and talked about law and order but did nothing to stop the rioting, and said the election was going to be stolen (it was) and yet as head of the GOP he had no plan to counteract the Zuckerbucks. If Trump is the GOP nominee in 2024, I’ll vote for him, but he is no savior. As miserably as he failed as a leader in multiple crises in 2020, he’s still better than everyone on the left, but that ain’t saying much.
Kemp opened up before DeSantis and NE, MT, WY, SD never really shut down. And then there were a lot of mostly open states. Or states where individual jurisdictions had a say but most of the state was wide open.
I live in purple VA, with the heart of the swamp occupying our most populous region, and my life was pretty much back to normal by late May early June of 2020. Malls, arcades, theme parks, restaurants, movie theaters etc. were all reopened and any closed were by the owners’ choice.
In March and April, the stores were closed except for a long list of Box stores, grocery, drug stores, craft stores, hardware stores, vape shops, tobacco shops, eyeglasses shops, and some others.
My children’s private schools were completely open for the 20-21 school year and maskless. The public schools in the rural or redder areas were open with like 3 days in 2 days out/virtual in Fall 2020 and open 5 days in Spring 2021. By choice the blue cities and counties kept their schools closed.
There were masking rules for public schools in 2020-2021 school year I think and there were masking rules in medical facilities – and I think some of them in Northern VA still may do that. The masks went through Christmas 2020 and into the Winter at restaurants and for employees in stores.
But overall we were free to live our lives as we wanted.
“In March and April, the stores were closed except for a long list of Box stores, grocery, drug stores, craft stores, hardware stores, vape shops, tobacco shops, eyeglasses shops, and some others.”
In March and April Florida was struggling with how to accommodate SPRING BREAK without freaking out the world.
Sorry you live in a BLUE state.
Lulu, that’s awesome!
Pres. Trump has never been the head of the Republican party, even as President, IMHAO. Ronna McDaniel, McConnell, McCarthy, & many RINOs
& GOPe run the party & control the money. Pres. Trump is the leader in fundraising & has the ability to draw new blood into the party.
The Republican party clings to him for fundraising but secretly want him prosecuted.
McConnell has his barking dog McCarthy condemning the search of MRL while McConnell grins & condemns nothing.
So no, Pres. Trump is not & has never been the leader of the Republican party. Probably a good thing in the long run.
He is the titular head, but it doesn’t mean anything.
Yes, I agree with most of what you say, but Trump was at the top of the ticket. Seems to me the buck stops there.
Okay, ONCE AGAIN..
LEARN SOME FEDERALISM! P. Trump was only responsible for the federal lockdown of FIFTEEN DAYS. NOTHING MORE.
It was the state governors that extended and deepened the lockdowns, and deepened the poverty, kept kids out of school, etc.
He didn’t have the authority to do state things. He tried to encourage the Dim govs to govern with a light hand. Each state has its own constitution and emergency provisions to execute.
The lockdowns were not his fault, past the first 15 days.
And Fauci was Pence’s doing. The virus was Pence’s responsibility.
And Pence was given the task by PDJT who never removed Pence and installed more reasonable medicos. Or did PDJT not run his shop? If he didn’t want to remove Pence, Scarf, and Fraud-XI, he did the right thing. If he did want them gone, why didn’t he remove them?
He was the President. He appointed that group of ghouls. He gave tacit approval and appeared with them all of the time. He owns it.
The National Institute of Health and the Federal Drug Administration—note the words “National” and “Federal”. Governors don’t have any authority over those entities. Hmmm…I wonder who’s purview they fall under?
Whew—beat me up over that one! It’s the Food&Drug Administration. LOL!
Do you realize the process the GOPe/uniparty
are placing before you? It’s a manipulation.
DeSantis is the SELECTION.
DeSantis is not that great. Sorry, it will be
business as usual and he will fold under
pressure and do as he is told. Don’t kid yourself.
A man like President Trump comes along
once in a millennium. NO ONE COMES CLOSE.
Fix 2020/dump the machines/
paper ballots/one day vote OR
WE ARE SCREWED.
I keep trying to give you a “like 👆” on many of your posts, but the comment section will not accept my finger touch. Hah, sometimes when I touch that spot, it removes a count, eg, 10 down to a 9, funny that.
We know you want to ignore what he did in Congress. And how it informs what he has NOT being doing as Governor of Florida, while gleaning all the Bouquets he gets for the flashy stuff….
All I have to do is look at all President Trump accomplished and it’s clear as day DeSantis could not have done it. Only those who have listened and seen exactly what Trump accomplished through the whole four years know the incredible extent of his actions.
Of this I”m sure, if President Trump had been in Congress there is no pressure in all the world that would have led him to vote as DeSantis did. However, DeSantis’s actions as governor have been commendable and maybe he’s changed since his tenure in Federal government. Even if DeSantis becomes full on MAGA he doesn’t have the experience or knowledge needed to implement it as president, but it would make him an even better governor which in my opinion is where he needs to stay.
There is only one MAGA candidate, there is only one person who made MAGA a reality and knew how to do it in four years under constant attack. Those who understand the magnitude of what he did know that everyone else pales in comparison.
For those worried that we only have one MAGA candidate, there is no way to assuage your fears but history has shown that most successful movements were under the direction of one leader and thankfully at least we have one.
RD did what was expected from any right thinking conservative…… he did nothing extraordinary…..because other governors did not do their job it makes RD look like a rock star? His votes in DC were much more consequential in my book. No he is not a good actor nor is he a good speaker. Having said all that , I would vote for him if Trump, son, or other endorsed candidate is not running. One thing I know for sure…..if it does boil down to DeSantis…..he will not win….it will be another cheat steal.
Correct.
Hi Sundance. I consider you the finest independent investigator on the web. However..let me posit something bothering me greatly. PTrump signed the EO for a recombinant RNA vaccine in Sept 2019..months before the lockdown or the first case even arising. He trots Johnson on stage during rally..tone deaf..or trying to get his boy in good graces as the vaccine was failing hard at that juncture. If the rules of the universe state that you have to tell the victim what you are doing and PTrump claims it is the greatest vaccine ever and he is telling the truth then whosE side is he really on… maybe DeSantis is not taking a suicide sword because he doesn’t think that what occurred was above board. I certainly don’t and neither do many. many pro-Trump friends (20’s-40’s) of my grown son. They do not read CTH. They are not trolls. They have legit concerns and do not inherently trust politicians..Trump was great but this vaccine is an ELE event.. Screw the economy and energy if there ain’t any human around to make use of it.
Its because we arent use to accepting a hard hill in front of us.
we want the baton pass – and easy relay race
I watched the entire tpUSA speech and Ron delivered it like PDJT did not exist.
my opinion – he is on the fence like the Scottish king
Could you please post your tweet on that? it would help people understand you are not canceling him. you are simply saying its fork in the road with a decision
Sundance, we do not know for sure DeSantis is running. We actually do not know who is running for President. Not really.
Yes, there are some as usual, the speculation. Pence Cotton Cruz Neom Pompeo Haley Christie DeSantis. In 2016 there were 15/16 running, as I remember.
As you have said and I myself we are in a war. There is a whole lot of time for mischief between now on Oct, 2024. We just watched and demented old man be installed in the Presidency. We do not know if there will be a Presidential election in 2024.
Wars are funny thing and crazy things happen during a war.
Me personally, I do not trust any of them!
Or does this guy have yet another motive for his much protesting.
When each new block of evidence receives the same protests as the First one…. And there is no new assessment on his part, as the One-Sided case keeps building and building and building…. And nothing for the Other non-existent “side” is coming forth in exoneration….
And all he has is basically, “you are all jumping to wild unfounded conclusions” …
hmmm…
I mean, after all, once the new wifey is making out aggressively on the couch with another man, and the hubby is in his comfortable overstuffed chair reading the newspaper and pretending not to see…. Asking them if they are ready for another cocktail drink….
This ain’t our first rodeo, you know!
Jeez Scarlet, you over analyze my questioning, but whatever….
I’ll ask you a question; is there any possibility that an individual’s ideas, approach, beliefs can migrate into a different construct? I would suggest that DeSantis may have made greater progress towards conservatism and ultimately MAGA from his days in Congress.
If you say BS…tell me about Donald Trump’s politics. Wasn’t he formerly a Democrat? I recall some of his ideas were quite far left at one time. When he declared his run for President, what were his guiding foundational principles?
Thank goodness people can change, can see a better path. If RD ultimately is judged to be a RINO we will figure it out.
I was skeptical of DeSantis because of his lousy record defending the First Amendment. Olivia Rondeau wrote a great column on this:
https://www.roguereview.net/rondeau-why-i-wont-compromise-on-the-first-amendment-for-desantis/
But alarms really started going off due to his support of Red Flag Laws:
https://www.fox13news.com/news/desantis-hopes-red-flag-laws-will-help-thwart-future-shootings
So, I’m definitely voting third party if DeSantis is the GOP nominee for POTUS.
Sundance you are very gracious to ICTHEMATRIX, but I discern it is much worse than that. I believe he is purposely undermining President Trump and you in a slithering snake kind of way. I see him as yeast in the dough as the Bible talks about. Potentially destructive to the community.
“Not a hint of foreign policy outline.
Not a hint of a larger domestic outline”
Agreed. The rest? Well, I’ll forgive him for not being fully aware of what only a few years ago were just “wild conspiracy theories”. You yourself talked about the silos in DC (and presumably elsewhere).
Forgive my ignorance, but I’m not exactly clear how DeSantis had a vote in reauthorizing the FISA court? Did you mean instead to say he was in support of it?
My main worry is that the loss of the Florida Governorship to a Dem (Crist), would pretty much doom the 2024 election, whether or not PDJT runs in 2024 (and no matter who his VP choice).
I would speculate that the only way DeSantis could win in Florida in November against the Dem, after suffering the loss of a substantial portion of the MAGA base, would be if the FIX IS IN for him over Crist.
Presumably you must believe that, otherwise it would seem counterproductive to rile up the base NOW, instead of waiting for 3 months.
If you do NOT believe that, then I’m rather puzzled. Please help.
These are all the same reasons why we rejected Ted Cruz as the POTUS candidate, and in the end, we all know we were right to reject Cruz. If Cruz did not pass muster due to these issues, neither does DeSantis. But I suspect the same Cruzaders that gave Cruz a free pass on these things are the same ones to give DeSantis a free pass on these things.
They’re also the same ones who sidled us with the false Tea Party gods like Rubio, Mia Love, etc. All these candidates did was say a few pretty things, and the voters were ready to flip up their skirts.
At the very core, DeSantis’s support of these issues alone proves that he is either (A) Ignorant of the Deep State corruption or (B) Part of the Deep State corruption.
The real proof is, if the GOPe and the CommuNazis are not attacking DeSantis, then he’s one of them. I see a few small fractured, unorganized attack attempts on DeSantis, but they’re nowhere where they ought to be
As for the “VotiNg wIll noT SaBe Us” crowd, these guys are even more suspect than DeSantis. It’s obvious that the moment you stop voting is the moment you go to war, so it’s pretty evident what this crowd’s real motivation is. But even if civil war was to break out, you’d still vote. They held elections all during the civil wars in the US.
We are in a cold war, and all wars are both political and kinetic, and while voting is an imperfect tool, it still has some use. This crowd thinks you’re too dumb to know this.
Was Trump the best conservative alternative before he ran for president? I believe that he was variously a registered Democrat, pro-abortion, gave money to Clintons and other Democrats and more. What you say, he was only doing what was necessary to his position at the time? When he ran for president his true self was revealed? Why for him and not DeSantis? I suggest that the positions one takes as a real estate developer by necessity are different than the positions one would take when running in a Republican presidential primary. Just as the positions one would take as a congressman are different than the ones one would take as governor or potentially running in a Republican presidential primary. What is good for Trump is good for DeSantis. Having said this, I will vote for Trump if he runs again.
I do wonder … if DeSantis is not the strongest possible candidate if PDJT is unable/unwilling to run, who is the best alternative if not DeSantis? The fruitcake Grenell? (Good luck getting that past decent people who cling to the archaic notion that marriage is between a man and a woman.) Pompeo? Who?
After this coming Sunday, and after China’s interference in the 2020 election is exposed (substantial evidence was presented at the Pit this past Saturday) and proven, they will not “convict” Trump but do everything they can to take him out. And it is true our bench is not as “strong”, but it starts with looking at Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan, in my opinion. As a retired Army Corps of Engineers Officer, I’m going to be very disappointed if the Corps is not supporting the Special Forces after declared Martial Law. Time for those in the Special Forces to lead and not wilt under the risk of a firing squad if they can’t put down the Milley side of our compromised Armed Forces.
Thanks for bringing other potential candidates up, as I asked for such replies. I greatly respect both of them, and would strongly consider them, although it’s hard to see them gaining enough $ support to win the nomination (again, if Trump isn’t running). But I do like them, Jordan especially.
We will have John James soon, and others. Pray for Mitch to get called into the afterlife. Cornyn, too..
If they remove Donald Trump, I will not vote at all. There’s no point to voting in a system where the uniparty chooses who I’m allowed to vote for – that would be facilitating their fiction that we the people have a say in our governance.
Beyond that, TPP loving DeSantis will be no more successful in the rust belt than Mitt Romney so who would we vote for is irrelevant. The GOP can’t win the Whitehouse without the rust belt, so they need to nominate someone that can win those voters that’s not a con inc GOPe Chamber of Commerce McConnell supported Republican.
Lulu (what I call my daughter too), we must vote…biblical….and hopefully the machines are not allowed soon…paper ballots…in fact, a county in NM just voted to use paper ONLY!
We better be allowed to vote WRITE-INS again, zallz I can say.
Not voting for donkeys and elephants, ever again.
I am voting for God’s Choice and nobody else at all.
And you will be the arbiter of which candidate is God’s choice, right? Give me a break.
You make it sounds like it’s a zero-sum game. Maybe there is no one to believe in.
There is GOD.
2 Chronicles 7:13-15. HE has a man He has selected for it.
John 6:43-66. After this, many of His disciples drew back (returned to their old associations) and no longer accompanied Him.
67. Jesus said to the Twelve, Will you also go away? [And do you too desire to leave Me?]
68. Simon Peter answered, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words (the message) of eternal life.
Pause and Ponder, calmly thinking and considering this. Selah!
GTFO. This is not about religion. It’s about politics and which politician to believe in.
In answer to your question, Who would we select? I’d draft soon-to-be Gov Kari Lake. She is the closest we have to MAGA like Pres Trump. Same qualities – does not come from politics, doesn’t put up with shiz, was once in the internal workings of the media and so knows how they operate – like Pres Trump prior to 2016 – he knew the media, she also would surround herself with MAGA after watching what Pres Trump went through his last 6 years and “trusting” the wrong people. Who knows, maybe I’m being prescient and Pres Trump may invite her to be our VP in 2024 after two yrs as AZ Gov. This is written from an Arizonan.
I voted Kari, but I think you are giving her too much fanfare so early. How is she any more MAGA than Marjorie Taylor Greene?
I’m not trying to slight Kari, but I don’t think her record is all that MAGA.
Both Marjorie Taylor Greene and Candace Owens I would rate far higher, and both are DEFINITELY Very MAGA, with No Shadow of a doubt and no weird remarks comparing Trump to DeSantis with ToyBoy references.
I’d love to see them both somewhere high in the Trump Administration.
I’m from Texas. I’ve seen a governor go a long number of re-elections to office but when his Deep goal is higher, then he stays on the straight and narrow ’til he THINKS his reputation will bear up under a few ~~ ? blips???
I won’t be voting for Kari for higher office than this one she is in the midst of now, until I see how she takes going around the corners on that race track.
I don’t know if she has what we call “bottom”, or “sand” – at this point. So far, we have nothing at all here but TALK, and nothing else at all. And I am hearing her past, even earlier this year, and last year, wasn’t exactly where she is now.
Campaign Mode is one thing. I want to see how she “wears”.
See,NOT the first bad burn and not my first rodeo – I got burned extremely bad on Campaign Ted Criuz in 2011/2012. My son warned me I blew it but it wasn’t until 2013 that I discovered how badly. THEN in 2015-2016, He dragged it ALL out, Muddy and Bloody. I.E., The Gateway Pundit: 2016/02/3 — Florida Eligibility Case: Case # CACE15022044. Also TPP authorship and The North American Union. And that ain’t all by many many a country mile! Dallas Morning News has archived their 2013, 2014, and 2-015 articles on Cruz. But there are many many other articles written about his Canadian Citizenship.
Since Kari is accepting the GOPe Funding of the Az Rally hosted by DeSantis, (along with Blake Masters) …
RE: ICTHEMATRIX
August 15, 2022 10:22 pm
Well…when Sundance gets a hankering for nuking someone, he goes all in, that’s for sure.
……………
So does Laura Ingraham:
“Laura Ingraham Turns on Trump: ‘Maybe It’s Time to Get Someone Who Has All Trump’s Policies, Who’s Not Trump’”
slaynews . com
— So… ICTHEMATRIX – COUNTERPOINT.
It isn’t @Sundance who is Stomping like an elephant after a mouse, in this particular Arena.
The movement you want to pretend isn’t already rolling full steam ahead – is very busy steamrolling right on ahead. Whether you really notice, or not — or really participate on one side or the other – or not. With or without you.
Oh, man, that some Kamala level word salad, that is.
I hear what you are saying and the very first time I heard Sundance’s take on DeSantis it took the wind right out of my sails. Then I thought back to the day Bill Barr was appointed to AG and we were all so excited, but Sundance called it from day one, Barr was a member of the swamp with one goal, to provide top cover for the FBI. And boy did he do his job well.
The MAGA movement is strong, but without Trump at the helm, I don’t know who steps up to carry the torch. We must win the house and senate this November and start picking off the head swamp rats. If we don’t, this nation is destined for tyranny (if not already there).
Eugene V. Debs ran for president WHILE IN PRISON. Aside from that, a good lesson in the Constitution might be in order. Learn about the Convention of States. And Federalism. The writers of the Constitution actually foresaw a similar situation. The answer, ‘if Trump is taken out’, is for the states to assume their proper responsibility. And there are ALREADY states that are voting/passing the prospect of the Convention of States.
Here:
Legally, President Trump can still run for office of president and win and run the country from a jail cell.
I didn’t like Sundance’s conclusion any more than many others but I let some time pass and I kept my eyes open. I still don’t like it but I have little other intellectual options but to accept that he’s right.
DeSantis is the splitter. Of all other conservative, loyal Republican leaders, DeSantis should have been the loudest voice. It was in his own state that this happened.
I feel like he didn’t want to do this. It would explain why his personal account (not controlled by his administration) expressed a view on the raid while his public political self remains silent and unavailable. Whatever the signaling may be, it is the actions which matter most because signals rarely lead to meaningful outcomes while decisive action does.
Who if not Trump?
Who has been odd man out (and right) for all these years?
https://www.paul.senate.gov/
The fact that you can ask that question at all–or even think of it–demonstrates your slave mentality.
SNAP OUT OF IT!
THERE ARE NO POLITICAL SOLUTIONS.
I also wonder:
This is the guy who was not afraid to fire his Attorney General, FBI Director, and not afraid to call out the Senate Majority Leader, his UN Ambassador, and even his Vice President. Is he now afraid to call out a simple governor of Florida? A guy who he could crush in an instant?
Is it inconceivable that they have been in contact with each other and PDJT gave DeSantis his marching orders?
Do we have evidence to the contrary?
You are cheering for “puff and fluff” while WeThePeople are destroyed by your PSYOP distraction.
Well-said, IC. Indeed.
Well, the Deep State may have achieved one of their objectives by coercing many of the well educated group of people on this site to turn against each other.
It appears some posters – while it is their absolute right to do so – are forgetting who the common enemy is.
All due respect, but you may be the enemy, and if you blindly vote for little Rs, you are.
Enemy?
That wasn’t called for – imho.
You are entitled to your opinion as I am mine.
Be rest assured I will not attack your views and integrity if they differ from mine.
I “blindly” vote for the candidates who I believe I are best qualified to meet my conservative and independent views.
Have a great day.
Look back at the Sessions arguments. Eventually nearly all of the pro-Sessions people changed their minds about him.
I was one of the FEW that was trying to warn about Jeff Sessions. Boy we were shouted down called names etc. here Then oh well. Just a word of advice.
WATCH WHAT THEY DO and WHO THEY WORK FOR, and what ORGANIZATIONS they work for and SUPPORT.
Think back all the damage Jeff the skunk did.
OH and nots let forget all those here doing the exact same ra ra for some of the others including:
BILL BARR
Think back all the damage Jeff the skunk did.
And that’s why we’re not messing around this time.
In the that same note, looking back, see what damage VP Pence did to the Trump Admin and his lackey (though who was controlling who) Marc Short. From the get-go Pence was involved in the LTG Flynn firing…did Pence really know what the play was…and then all throughout the Admin Pence was there to keep things off the rails incl being the leader of the Covid Task Force and then ultimately had the opportunity to make the call to hold off on the electors as the Constitution requires and discuss the election and we all saw what he did on Jan 6.
People forget because of the prisoners (rightfully so) but what were all those there at the Capitol what were they waiting on? The Congress to have those discussions on electors but because of the basic military doctrine of misdirection – look here, not there – the discussions never took place – mission accomplished by the Uniparty.
Well that’s mainly because of sessions actions and not what someone else said about him. At least that’s my experience and from what I’ve seen from others.
Yes, “almosr.” Not me yet.
Yes “almost.” Not me yet.
Eventually they did.
NOT at all entitled to forget that RINOS are Part and Parcel of what we are fighting AGAINST, who are in NO PART WHATSOEVER now qualified to be considered allies of the USA Constitution.
SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF.
What looks small today will grow up to mighty big MOUNTAINS, tomorrow. Especially when you feed them “AFTER DARK”.
The people are reelecting RINO incumbents that are Mitch McConnell’s lackeys in this election. Is there any hope for change?
We have some good people winning the primaries too. Just to toss out a few names … Joe Kent in Washington. Mark Finchem in Arizona … actually we ran the table w MAGA in Arizona. MAGA showed up and won in primaries where McConnell and Pence and a gob of money opposed them. We did good. Yes rinos got thru (whether McCormick or Oz won the PA primary we would get someone with WEF connections). Our movement recognized the importance of primaries this year and many brave people stepped up to run. It is worth a celebration.
Unlike most of what you say, the more I think about the DeSantis angle, the less it worries me.
There are a few reasons for this.
The first is simply that in 2016, we put the establishment in a position where they could either rally behind Cruz, or we would shove Trump down their throats. Even though Cruz was a member of the club, the GOPe decided to instead try and play spoiler with McMuffin.
They’ve got chronic backstabbing disorder. They would screw over DeSantis the moment they could. And there’s no way he doesn’t realize that.
The second, is that the GOP primary is structurally rigged. The calendar is front loaded with a Blue and Purple states. It was deliberately set up so that the biggest squish, with the highest name recognition, and largest warchest could waltz to victory. And it was absolutely glorious watching Trump step in front of Jeb! and run the crooked table. The deck is still stacked, and Trump has crossover appeal. DeSantis cannot hope to challenge Trump in the early going, and the battle between the two would suck all the air out is the room. No milksop could possibly gain traction in that frame.
Luke, good analysis on the GOPe playbook and it historical scams.
MAGA is anti-GOPe.
The fact is, de-san-tis has outed himself as a GOPe.
Yes he has.
Apparently, you are clueless about what all Ted does behind the scenes that proves he is as great an enemy of We The People as Obama, and I am not exaggerating. In fact There isn’t room here to tell the SMALLEST DEGREE of the vital info needed to be fully informed on THAT snaky rat.
You would be part of a North American Union by now if you had succeeded in getting Toady Cruz into the White House.
IF you are aware of the 20+ yrs he spent so far on that project (ASIDE from TPP) together with Heidi, then I know whose side YOU are on, also, with him.
Separate but very pertinent: Feb 2016 – Florida Eligibility Case — Case # CACE15022044.
The Gateway Pundit.
It just dawned on me that we’re being subjected to a new kind of gaslighting. Remember in 2016 all of the “Trump can’t win” gaslighting? Now it’s a little different, now it’s “Trump shouldn’t even run” and suddenly DeSantis is supposed to be our guy. And yet the Morning Consult poll from 4 days ago showed that 71% of Republicans want Trump to run again. (Insert picture of suspicious cat here.)
Example: A Guardian headline, “As Trump’s star wanes, another rises: could Ron DeSantis be the new Maga bearer?”
Trump’s star is waning? Really? Not if 71% of Republicans want him to run in 2024.
And then suddenly DeSantis is supposedly the new rising star. Why? As Sundance wrote above as a reply to someone’s comment, Start by questioning your assumption that Ron Desantis “is the strongest possible candidate,” and ask yourself why you have been led to believe that
The majority of voters don’t know or care who Ron DeSantis is. They are totally gaslighting us.
The Guardian is UK version of NYT – never trust them if you’re looking for facts or the truth.
Still, as wary monitors of narrative engineering, it’s a worthy data point as Miss Serena presented it.
DeSantis is being used, willingly apparently, to minimize Trump, to draw hopes away from him, to create the impression that he has worthy successors that might be better poised to carry on, to sap our will to fight for him.
That’s as poison pill as it gets.
Yep, hard left.
I love what Maquis said in response to your comment.
Also, you should wonder why the Guardian, the UK version of NYT, is promoting DeSantis. There are some hurl-inducing complimentary statements about DeSantis that I’m choosing to not excerpt here. But I will include this gem:
Speaking from Tallahassee, longtime Republican strategist Rick Wilson of Florida said: “I’ve picked up the same rumors that everybody else is hearing that Ron DeSantis’s people are practically picking out curtains in the White House after Tuesday.
“Tuesday” refers to the day, Jun 28, hearsay purveyor Cassidy Hutchinson testified at the Jan 6 Kangaroo Court. And look, nearly 2 months later Trump’s not only not knocked out, his popularity has increased. 🙂
Well since his silence on Mar-A-Lagogate, Ron’s lost some of his starshine. May be just a shooting star.
Trump gained 10 points since then just Days after the 9th even as DeSantis lost 10 by then.
Mar-a-Lago Raid Pulled Potential Presidential Primary Support From DeSantis Back to Trump — By TEN Points
August 14, 2022, 7:30amby Cassandra Fairbanks
Simple to explain; Ron is a Politician, cough, gag, …..Don is a Real Estate Developer.
Ron is a former Nav Seals JAG that became a politician to serve his country..perhaps at the request of ONI..the only constitutional intel agency is the US of A. Don is an entertainer, actor, real estate developer that became a politician to serve his country..supposedly. Then there is that lockdown and vaccine thingee..really hard to ignore..but go ahead at the peril of the human race. Big forces at play here and nobody has a sheet with all the players private stats.
Dan Crenshaw.
Mar-a-Lago Raid Pulled Potential Presidential Primary Support From DeSantis Back to Trump — By TEN Points
August 14, 2022, 7:30amby Cassandra Fairbanks
Other Veterans who seemed to have served with Honor were revealed in the last 2 decades to be very dirty, and also political accomplices of John McCain.
And some of those guys VOUCHED for McCAIN and JOHN KERRY.
We don’t know what happened that some Veterans may not have been worthy soldiers and haven’t been worthy politicians, afterwards, whether they were worthy soldiers or not…
But Since Clinton years, and McCain and Kerry, and now also Crenshaw, Military service isn’t enough to polish up a dirty politician, any more.
When you look back in retrospect if Hillary had won as they expected, they would have implemented their WEF autocracy and she would be silently scorned as Hitlery.
KEY WORD: “Silently”.
sundance must feel legitimately betrayed by his Governor.
Nobody can surpass SD’s ability to expose the corruption and control that the GOPe utilizes in order to manufacture winners and losers in chosen elections that betray and screw their voters. If the Florida Gov is trying to become more popular than Trump (while he’s under investigation) and thereby replace him at the top of the popularity ratings, it is not unreasonable to perceive this as a MAGA betrayal. It is typical deceptive GOPe behavior.
But did DeSantis ever proclaim himself to be a loyal MAGA Trump devotee like Kari Lake etc? Does anyone have a link to a video?
I’m 2396 miles from Tallahassee (as the tireless crow flies) but DS never seemed like a politician that would be content to be a follower. He was always focused on embellishing his own political career which is a normal view in politics. His present bloated hubris will not reflect the eventual reality however, if he ever goes toe to toe in a POTUS campaign with an unburdened Trump competitor.
For the sake of Florida’s Trump supporters, I hope DeSantis remains popular enough to retain the Gov. job.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2018/07/30/build-the-wall-florida-gubernatorial-candidate-tells-his-young-daughter-in-campaign-ad/
A Republican gubernatorial candidate in Florida released a 30-second campaign advertisement Monday, and it’s full of love for President Trump.
“Build the wall,” Rep. Ron DeSantis (R) says while playing with toy blocks with his daughter, Madison, nearly 2, in his Florida home. “Then, Mr. Trump said, ‘You’re fired,’ ” he says while holding his infant son, Mason, in one arm and Trump’s book “The Art of the Deal” in his other.
“People say Ron’s all Trump. But he is so much more,” his wife, Casey, jokes before the screen flips to a shot of Mason lying in a crib, dressed in a red “Make America Great Again” onesie. “Bigly,” the gubernatorial candidate adds. “So good.”
[…]
I remember seeing this ad but not the first one you linked to. Now that was unity 4 years ago.
Thanks. That is a great 2018 campaign ad link. Do you have anything more recent?
A lot can change in 4 years. Not mocking you. I’m being serious; I would like to see RDS’s last positive clip about PDJT.
You asked if DeSantis were ever MAGA. It sure seems like he was … when he was using Trump’s endorsement and MAGA supporters to win the Florida Governor election in 2018.
Good luck to you if you want to find something recent where DeSantis even mentions Trump’s name.
Yes, you proved that he was definitely pro Trump and MAGA in the videos “when he was using Trump’s endorsement and MAGA supporters to win the Florida Governor election in 2018.”
Good discovery.
Addition–“…popular enough to retain the Gov. job”–and then lose in the presidential campaign ag’st PDJT in 2024.
We are hoping he will finish his term as FL. Gov. Which will not be over til ’26.
The people in FL. are not the ones who started this stupid “Trump/Desantis/2024!!! BS.
It’s the fools across the nation who did that. You know, the ones who think a Prez or VP has waaaay more power than a State Gov.
Concur.
Florida still has Dominion CheatWare.
A MAGA-flavored candidate, yet one who won’t really rock the boat.
That would be a Mitch-Vote Splitter dream, wouldn’t it?
This is really pathetic! Read the comments here and you’d be led to believe it’s Trump or bust!
If any Democratic Communist Party activist or anyone in the leadership read what’s being said here they would be confident they are on the correct track of Take Out Trump and the entire Republican Party collapses. It’s disgusting.
Only a couple of people have said they would only vote for Trump.
Trump hasn’t even announced whether or not he’s going to run. He has alluded to running but we don’t know for sure yet. But for some reason, suddenly DeSantis is being pushed as our candidate and we’re being told that Trump is too old, Trump has too much baggage, people want to move on from Trump, blah blah blah. It’s the new gaslighting executed by people who don’t want Trump to win, and it appears DeSantis is totally on board with it. So now DeSantis won’t even mention Trump’s name any more. But 4 years ago he put out the ad I posted a few comments up. ^^
Like I said upstream, if Trump is prevented from running, I am not voting.
I’ll vote for a candidate who tells the truth. The 2020 election was stolen. Covid was created in a lab with U.S. taxpayer money, then inflicted on the world. Vaccines are causing deaths and injuries. Drug companies unfairly enjoy immunity from prosecution for deaths and injuries from their “vaccines.” Mail in ballots lead to election theft. Dominion machines and other computers that count ballots can and are programmed to cheat. That candidate must also vow to fix these issues.
Because Scott, for 2024, it is Trump or bust.
Meanwhile, if the house flips this fall, maybe they can stall the Dem horde for a bit.
I want us to prepare for Trump’s run and presidency even if he chooses to bow out. (I pray not!)
Continued Dem majorities threatens the 2024 election, and we certainly don’t want Trump to have to endure the hell of Dem majorities again. It still makes me sick to think about what happened when idiot voters gave away the House majority in 2018. As soon as the Dems got control they set out to impeach Trump. We’re lucky we still had the Senate majority.
That doesn’t take into account our faith that God Will Provide. Just as He has always done when His people turn to Him and seek HIS Face.
From the article, “…the depths of their immorality is unlimited.”
This is the fundamental underlying problem. Everything else flows from their unlimited immorality.”
Given the current state of the GOPe, it is obvious why DeSantis is an appealing choice.
He gets the benefit of the doubt by me, until he doesn’t. I can’t think of anyone else who has drawn more national attention, and outrage from the left, than DeSantis.
A healthy skepticism is good and things will be revealed that should define who DeSantis really is.
If a trump runs, and he runs against him, then his cards are on the table.
If Trump is not in the game and DeSantis wins the nom, I’d have a real tough time sitting it out.
Who else is out there, seriously?
Kari Lake if she wins the Gov race? Sen Hawley?
I like Jim Jordan a lot.
I don’t believe Kari Lake, Senator Hawley and Jim Jordan can win at the national level. I think it would be difficult for Desantis to win at that level but would have the best chance. I guess the one I would choose would be the one President Trumps supports.
Kari Lake could definitely win a national campaign. As a journalist, she has taken EXCELLENT notes the last 6 yrs on what happened to Pres Trump and IF he doesn’t run (he is 100%) then Lake would be an excellent choice. See my comments ^^ upstream of why I believe she would be a great candidate.
If Jordan were promoted by the media and certain conservative groups the way DeSantis is, you would perceive him as a person who can win at the national level.
Have you ever given a thought to creating a website for yourself . . . you sure know how to yak!!😜
This is your contribution to the conversation?
But Arlan, she let the RINO DeSantis rally w/ her. Doesn’t that make her suspect, too? /s
Since that was GOPe money….
Kari Lake hasn’t any experience, at all, in anyting except media.
At this time I would pick MTG over Lake as far as experience and allegiance to DJT and America.
Lake and MTG would make a Fierce Team though // and Boebert 👍
We could have Our Own Little Group !
MTG and Candace Owens.
Candace need to run off to Scotland with her LAIRD and be LADY Scottish Laird.
She’s not even an American any longer. She’s a titled foreign wifey.
it is obvious why DeSantis is an appealing choice
That’s just it, Smitty. Is it obvious? Or are we being told that it’s obvious? Right now the only person the media is promoting is DeSantis. We don’t ever hear about anyone else. Why do you think that is?
As Sundance said:
Start by questioning your assumption that Ron Desantis “is the strongest possible candidate,” and ask yourself why you have been led to believe that?
Now ask yourself, without knowing anything about his geopolitical outlook, foreign policy or larger economic platform, how did you come to the conclusion that DeSantis was the best alternative?
It makes absolutely no difference who might be second choice behind President Trump. If the RICO Enterprise wins and successfully eliminates President Trump, the same fate is in store for whoever tries to replace him. Elections will be rigged, false allegations will be cast, and the 4th Branch will continue. Supporting Trump is more about righting the wrong and restoring what is good about our country than worshiping a man with #BDE as Cari Lake calls it. (I had to look that one up)
Agreed.
well.. we all know there is some fracturing across the CTH community..
so the supervisors’ plan didn’t work on the first try.. and now.. in hindsight.. maybe some mistakes were made..
and now in a time of critical decision.. it looks like one of them dropped the ball.. well.. ok.. we don’t know what occurred in their tent.. so just let them sort that one out..
because here we still are.. way the fck out here.. with no relief in sight.. what the fck are we going to do.. I’ll tell you what the fck we are going to do..
we’re gonna keep on fck’n going.. till we hear different.. or till they catch up with us..
and none of us want to hear any fck’n complaints.. it accomplishes nothing.. but if you have a fck’n solution.. then by all means let’s hear it.. I’m all ears..
otherwise.. there’s still a lot of rough water to cover ahead of us.. so stay alert.. and keep your eyes on the horizon.. our destiny awaits just beyond it..
so just keep putting one boot in front of the other.. even if we have to finish the whole fck’n job ourselves..
David Ploufe needs an Arkancide.
I have said this before, on this site. I voted for Reagan and then I did not vote for a President again till Trump and voted for him twice.
I say, if Trump runs I vote Trump. If Trump does not run and for what ever reason, I probably won’t be voting for a President. I also say, if DeSantis runs I will think hard about voting for him and it will depend on his actions words during the race and if Trump endorses him.
I see this as always DC is F’d up and I will continue to prepare me and mine for whatever may comes. And put my life in Gods hands, if he puts me in the middle of a fight so be it. At this point, we should all put our lives in his hands.
So Sundance you are saying if Trump doesn’t run that’s it for the Country??
I personally don’t think we will have a Midterm. The Communists are way to far along to not pull out all stops to ensure their reign of power.
These bstrds would have the US attacked by China before they gave up power.
If Trump doesn’t run, MANY will take it that His People have NOT obeyed God’s Calls to us to come before Him and rally to HIM in these desperate days, to get on our faces as in 2 Chronicles 20, and in Exodus 16, and pray for HIS Solution, whether it is a New Candidate or a Red Sea Moment or a Giant Earthquake that is Incredibly Selective about whose feet it cracks open underneath.
And from what I can tell here – by hundreds of thousands of more people than most of you here commenting have any idea even exist.
Even though in our RECENT lifetime we have seen the Bible Prophecy of Damascus come to pass and be declared fulfilled by 100% of the UN members, in 2015 – Isaiah 17.
God has promised that IF we will humble ourselves and call on Him, and HIS People get down on their faces before Him and will REPENT to HIM, THEN He will heal our land. 2 Chronicles 7:13-15.
It worked for Moses at Numbers 16, and for Jehoshaphat at 2 Chronicles 20.
He answered George Washington MANY times during the Revolution.
Please stop.
It’s the cruzbots and Sessionistas , all over again.
Sundance has decades of studying this far more than anyone I know. He has pulled out his big beautiful hammer and hit those nails without smashing his thumb over and over again. I would gladly hold the nail while he swings.
TRUMP 2024 or BUST
BAM! 😉

I noticed it, @Sundance.
You didn’t have to tell me – I’m an Old Lady.
But it is so fabulous to find others who also recognize it when they see it, and also don’t have to be told.
They have always gotten angry at “Old Folks” or “Old Souls” – whatever the age, who can see a certain look, a certain glance, a certain expression, and they Know – without having another single detail of “hard Information”…
And they KNOW. And others who did nah Keen get so angry, and even accuse you of “willing it to happen” because “you didn’t like them anyway”….
But nevertheless… It was still a flash of Truth that was recognized as sure as a telegraph operator notices certain tapping patterns.
It’s as old as Adam and Eve, and Cain and Abel.
You can’t get around it, and it isn’t the fault of the Wise who See it going down again.
One More Time – Here We Go again…. Same Old Song, Second Round….
And when the one who “glanced” notices the Knower, then the “glancer” Knows the Knower knows, and the Knower knows the Glancer knows the Knower KNOWS!
Then – notice which one of them is afraid, if either is….
Hollywood built their industry on that Ancient Truth and Wisdom.
You can’t get around it.
WT absolute F are you on about?
Please stop.
LAURA INGRAHAM NOTICED IT TOO:
Laura Ingraham Turns on Trump: ‘Maybe It’s Time to Get Someone Who Has All Trump’s Policies, Who’s Not Trump’
slaynews . com
She only notices things at DC and NYC cocktail parties.
How do you win by picking off a few hundred whilst a hundred thousand are left pounding the people into ruble?
The Convention of States. Matt Christiansen describes the Constitutional way out of this:
After reading a vast amount of comments I can only draw one conclusion, “all the world is a stage”. I know people who know Trump. The father is not a fan, the son helped Trump turn Mar-A-Lago into a successful venture, and is a friend. I just can’t help but be honest with myself, that everything we are seeing and hearing is staged. That isn’t to say that there aren’t two sides of the same coin fighting it out, but it seems to me that neither side has humanity’s, let alone America’s, best interests at heart. If we are honest with ourselves, if we understand true history, not the crap they taught all of us in school, then we know that we’ve been played for decades, if not centuries. The battle isn’t just about America. That was made perfectly clear with covid being used all over the world to dictate, frighten, cajole, and ultimately enslave people to their governments permanently. Now of course not nearly enough complied, but enough did to give these filthy gutless weasels running things the knowledge that they can control any country and it’s people to the extent they need to. When Trump went along for the ride, when your own friends and families did as well, to the point you can no longer discuss the issue, that is proof positive that the jackholes running things only have the elites best interests at heart. Can we as a nation overcome this evil? Well yes, but it is going to take a Herculean effort on the part of the average man and woman, and thinking and believing voting for a president is going to “fix things” is just childish. Now of course we will have an election, and of course we need to vote somebody in, so my feeling is to vote for the person who will best put the nation on the course we need, and who’s feet can be put to the fire to get the results we need. In other words, the person or persons who are least likely to renege on their promises to right this ship.
This is some Truth SD. If Trump doesnt go back to FINISH THE JOB all of MAGA will boycott voting and do whats best. Bank on it.
The “likeable” second choice candidate DeSDantis has to betray Trump to earn second place. But his compromise leaves him forever devoid of the trust of the people.
This is deeply sad and regrettable. DeSantis’s actions over C19 had led to neighboring states caving to the pressure of also ending lockdowns and mandates.
Once he stopped standing up, he will fall for anything… and seems he has.
Great reprint of a great speech. I understand what’s coming but in my neighborhood there is no one who will stand with me. And only a handful in the surrounding communities. This is reality at ground level. It’s not defeatism, it’s reality. Sun Tzu: know thy enemy and know thyself.
Sundance’s article today is cold water to optimists who see Ron DeSantis as a second Trump. I like the man (RD), we’ve met twice and I spoke with him for some minutes. That said, he is a Navy JAG Officer and even the very best of them, some of whom I’ve know well, are ALL 4th reich loyalists.
Yale, Harvard and Navy JAG officer, this does NOT look like someone ready to eliminate the FBI, actually close the southern border, prosecute the cabal that stole the 2020 election and persecutes patriots using the NSA, DOJ, FBI, IRS ….
He will most likely say he’ll do all that … and then … ‘it’s so hard …complex,,, but with your further contributions I will in my next term …’ 4th reich RINO crap.
ONLY Trump has the fire in the belly to do good. BUT, again, who will he surround himself with this time? That’s his greatest flaw and we won’t get another chance.
Some folks here posted this fake video on desantis, pushing it as real:
https://mobile.twitter.com/seanhannity/status/1558512052553109505
“It does not matter which color flag rests atop the congressional spire, republican or democrat, it does not change the behavior of the participants.”
Well yes.
So why berate the Dems inordinately? Why single out the second hand exclusively for the lateness of the hour? It takes two hands to tell the time.
Across the aisle? There is no aisle. There can’t sometimes be an aisle and sometimes not.
I keep in mind that the criticism s of desantis also apply even more to President Trump:
Who hobnobbed with the GOPe? President Trump
Who appointed Haley?
President Trump.
Who initially lauded his appointments like the Generals, Haley, etc. ?
President Trump.
Can anyone remember how many rinos, GOPe, generals, etc President Trump
endorsed, lauded, appointed, telling us how great they were who turned out rotten?
I don’t expect Desantis to blow off the GOPe, I expect him to be politically astute. I care about what he does and I see he has used his authority to further my issues. I wish Trump had the courage to expose and fire the corrupt doj and fbi as desantis fired the corrupt Soros woke prosecutor. Desantis took aggressive steps for my agenda. President Trump abdicated his executive power to Barr who was an obvious establishment GOP appointment. When he finally declassified it was done as a kowtowing whimper upon exiting rather than publicly exposing their crimes.
I vote for Trump but I do not have blinders over my eyes . I did not put Trump on a pedestal nor will I desantis. I will not cut off my nose to spite my face.
The most important thing is the detailed massive public exposure of the corrupt fbi, doj, cia, etc. and trump failed in bringing this to the public eye while president and even contributed to keeping things covered up.. Trump should have done what Sundance was doing. If you can’t do it when you have the presidency then when can you doj it?
I think folks here confuse supporting desantis with being against Trump. I don’t have a fear of desantis being in a primary with trump. He won’t beat trump but he will take votes away from the rinos and he will support trump.
I would like to know other than Trump who else has shown success and courage in actually accomplishing any Maga agenda while managing a large political entity? Who is coming up that is not more than a talking head who accomplished nothing?
I need to put folks in that get things done.
I love the website, but viewing DeSantis as an enemy or a threat is mindbogglingly inane. You are seeing boogiemen.
He has done and excellent job in FL. Why shouldn’t he be considered as a viable candidate. He has kept the state open, a freedom Trump did not afford the rest of the country. He addressed the woke mob and their perversion of childhood education (did Trump do anything like that?)
You fail to understand that Trump has all the negatives he had before the elections plus the additional baggage of:
Whoever the candidate is, he will not be running against Joe Biden. Rather the D’s will run someone who can sound like a moderate who will garner all the suburban housewife vote, something which Trump will not get.
As other have said, I would vote for Trump should he be the candidate, but he is simply not the best candidate…he is the second best.
Deal with it.
if we were losing the war with the globalist then they wouldnt be fighting like they are .Why would this group be so afraid if they didnt feel the tightening around their necks?
I think trying to paint DeSantis as a threat or a RINO is incredibly inane. His is neither, and he has done a far better job as Governor than Trump did as President. He was my top pick months ago. Some of us need to stop looking for boogiemen, wake up and take our lips off the boots of candidates.
Regarding Donald Trump:
But having said all that, I believe many conservatives are under the illusion that he was a fantastic President and that he should be our next President. Take your lips off of your backside for a minute and look at the evidence.
Further, I don’t think Suburban women, the ones who put Republicans over the top in Virginia, will vote for him because of all of his personal baggage, occasional pettiness, and former incredibly stupid statements and actions.
A President the problem with Trump is three-fold:
1. He really did not make good, tough decisions, particularly the personnel decisions, necessary to conduct a great Presidency…And America will face the consequences of his bad decisions for years.
2. Either way it comes out, he will either:
a. Take the blame for the vaccines when they are shown to be only marginally effective and have enormous adverse effects, or;
b. Never get credit for having accelerated their deployment.
3. He did not have the guts to give the tough orders when necessary.
1. Personnel Decisions
There are a whole lot of people that Trump did a whole lot of complaining about that he appointed, and/or he could have fired, but didn’t. He just bitched and moaned about the bad job they were doing.
The following is not an all-encompassing list but it should illustrate my point:
· Jeff Sessions
· John Comey
· Gina Haspel
· Mike Pence
· Bill Barr
· General Milley
· General Mattis
· Last and most important…Tony Fauci.
Let’s talk Covid. Regardless of your politics, if you have the intelligence of a sixth grader you should’ve been able to ask the question of Tony Fauci, “why did your NIH publication in August of 2005 publish– “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread….and yet despite the fact that the milder form Hydroxychloroquine had been used safely for 65 years in millions of patients, you think it is dangerous???” ”Your fired.” One does not need a medical degree to call skubalon when you see it.
Trump got snookered, hook line and sinker. He let them kill early treatment, implement lockdowns, and rush vaccines. WHY?
He wanted to do his daily briefing to show how much he was in control, and ironically, he wanted too much to be liked. Those decisions fateful decision probably cost 250,000 lives, cost the economy billions, damaged children of a generation, and cost him the Presidency.
AND BY THE WAY, HAS HE DONE THING FOR THE PEOPLE BEING ILLEGALLY HELD RE January 6th? He is as bad as Dan Crenshaw, he won’t say a word.
He appointed 1/3 of the Supreme Court. There were at least two conservative judges before he named his three. If they were bad justices, it’s his fault, nobody else’s.
2. Lose-Lose on the Vaccines
Let’s tell it like it is. The vaccines are:
· not robust
· not long-lasting, and
· do not provide broad protection (as they were advertised.)
The mRNA jabs:
· are leaky
· provide:
o marginal protection
o for a limited time
o against a limited number of variants.
· Would appear to:
o Cause Anti-body Dependent Enhancement
o Weaken the body’s natural ability to fight other viruses
o Have a very bad long-term side effect profile, especially for the young
You would have to be a fool to believe Trump would get any balanced or fair coverage from the media. Should he run, Trump will be blamed for rushing these vaccines to market. Pictures of still born babies, young athletes dying before their time, and data showing ADE will be pinned squarely on his shoulders.
By the same token, he will never get any credit for the deaths the vaccines may have save. The press with tell the American imperitissimi that ‘it took Joe Biden and the Democrats to roll out the vaccines.”
3. Making the tough calls involving loss of life.
I think he has a problem with death Unless there was (a) of a rotten terrorist AND (b) he could have ordered someone from a safe distance to press a few buttons and ‘kaboom’ the threat was gone, he would not order it. I don’t think he has the guts to give the orders necessary to protect law and order and to protect our country. I know that’s a controversial statement but let me give at least one example as proof.
After the George Floyd incident our cities were burning. US citizens and their property was at risk. Our federal buildings were being attacked, burned, and looted. Such conduct is a federal crime that the federal government can and should prosecute. When it became clear that states did not or could not protect federal property and personnel Trump should have ordered either national guard or troops in…he didn’t. He wimped out.
The stated excuse was that he didn’t want to overstep the governors and their authority blah blah blah blah blah blah. I say skubalon (look it up).
He could’ve deployed federal officers to federal buildings with the following instructions “shoot to kill,“ and the riots would’ve been over. He could have taken out the garbage.
He didn’t.
I don’t know if it was a calculated political move to elicit the ‘law and order’ vote, but it was the wrong decision. I want a President who will give that order.
The whole reason Kyle Rittenhouse ever stood trial is because Trump (yes and others) wouldn’t act.
Trump didn’t and wouldn’t….and won’t in the future…he is too afraid to order the death of anyone other than a terrorist 2,000 miles away.
Not only do I want a President who will give that order, I want one who will ask why the hell it has not been done already.
I think the reason there are so many rallies for Trump now is that people realize what an incredible screwup Biden is, and we long for at least an above average president.
But the main point of this email is that Trump, IMO, should not be the Republican nominee in 2024:
Don’t get me wrong, if he were the nominee and he were running against Kamala Harris or some run-of-the-mill liberal puke, I would vote for him. But I prefer to vote for a younger candidate with a track record who has the guts to make all the decisions that need to be made, not just the ones he wants to make.
Trump needs to be a king-maker, not the king. He doesn’t know it yet, but he would be happier in that role anyway…there is limited accountability and no tough live or death decisions.
I just saw this flattering article from CBS News on DeSantis that really cinched it for me.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/arizona-republican-rally-ron-desantis-kari-lake-blake-masters/?fbclid=IwAR336a_O4wdWxAs2eC6Zw9oWE-j4Szp_KzxzEObs0q3JQOtI3osW8ft4vp0
He spoke for 46 minutes and didn’t once mention Trump’s name? The man who completely re-invented the GOP party and netted what is (arguably) the most stunning win in 2016? The man whose endorsement drove DeSantis to a Florida Governor win in 2018?
attendees in Phoenix gave raucous applause to the southeast governor as he ticked through his COVID-19 response, his criticisms of Mr. Biden, and a string of controversial bills he passed related to education that restricts conversation about gender identity and sexuality from kindergarten through the third grade.
If this was a rally for Arizona candidates and for “uniting” the Republican party, then why did he spend so much time talking about his own accomplishments?
Cmon now: DJT prattles on endlessly about “My beautiful {fill in the blank}” and “I did this”. It’s ok. But it’s certainly not a discriminator in this instance.
We’ll never get a chance to investigate anything.
This is Why Democrats Are Not Worried about 2020 — The Fix Is In… Postal Service Institutionalizes Ballot Interference Scheme with New Mail-in Ballot Division

I wouldn’t worry about 2020 either!
Rather than continue this farce of belittling various candidates, I propose a community developed checklist of key criteria for initial vetting to at least streamline and/or bound the “viability” space. This too will crash on the rocks of self-righteousness, but it’s worth a try. The list ultimately needs to be short and focused on only the highest value (or priority if you prefer) line items. Here’s a start…I will dutifully duck the incoming verbal shells.
Enjoy your day whatever you decide.
