This is exactly what many people predicted would happen after the Uvalde school shooting in Texas, and the horrific police response.
With the Uvalde police response fresh on their minds, parents showed up in El Mirage, Arizona after the elementary school was locked down. Apparently, an armed man tried to gain entry to the school. The police were following their lockdown protocols and would not let the arriving parents into the building.
Scuffles with law enforcement began breaking out as desperate parents wanted to protect and save their kids. Subsequently, police opened fire on the parents with tasers then began arresting them.
This is what happens when parents do not trust law enforcement. After the horrific events in Uvalde, where the police just stood around while the kids were being killed, many people asked, ‘what happens next time’? Well, here are the consequences surfacing in Arizona:
Arizona – Several parents were shot with a Taser outside a school in Arizona on Friday while it was under lockdown, police said.
The El Mirage Police Department said in a statement on Facebook that Thompson Ranch Elementary School was placed on lockdown following a report that a male subject had tried to enter the school around 10:30 a.m. with a firearm.
“School staff contacted law enforcement and immediately implemented lockdown protocol,” the post read.
Police said that as law enforcement arrived, the person with the gun fled the premises. During the lockdown, officers began clearing the campus of any threats. A package had arrived on the scene, but it was deemed safe by explosives technicians.
“As officers continued to work on clearing the campus, parents began to arrive on [site] at the school. Several attempted to force entry into the buildings past officers. It was at this time that a male began an altercation with officers. Two other individuals joined in the altercation,” police wrote.
“Officers deployed Tasers, taking the three into custody. One person taken into custody was in possession of a handgun,” they added.
[…] The identities of the parents who were shot with a Taser were not immediately clear. NBC News reported that two of the three parents were shot with a Taser and that all three — two men and one woman — were arrested.
El Mirage police Lt. Jimmy Chavez said one of parents who was shot with a Taser was brought to the hospital to be treated for injuries, according to the network. (read more)
I mean really, can you blame the parents?
The police really need to reevaluate their community protocols accepting that a large number of parents are not going to accept, ‘sit and wait’…
Time to home school.
Those cops would rather kill the parents than the school shooter.
Low hanging fruit and all.
It’s always easier for cops to deal with law-abiding citizens than an out-of-control criminal intent on murder.
You nailed it. It’s also why gun control nuts come after law-abiding citizens’ guns rather than criminals’ guns.
Already done in New Orleans during the hurricane. Cops either helped murderers or FLED.!!
Is it true that bush 43 authorized the seizure of all legally owned guns in New Orleans after Katrina ?
The Demorat mayor authorized it. The president has no authority over local police. I take it you never had a civics course.
“gun free zones”
A mass-murderers paradise.
Bingo!!
That’s crazy talk.
and you are a fool with blind faith
No, it’s the truth. That’s why the government wants to hire 87,000 more of them. Bink! Did the light bulb just get lit in your head?
That’s a separate abuse of government power.
The ONLY crazy is that police attacked the parents in Uvalde and now El Mirage, Arizona.
There was no school shooter, though. One of the parents arrested had brought a handgun with him. So police should just let him waltz right into the school?
Why not the Demorats like Antifa and BLM burn how many cities in the last two years while ordering the police to stand down.
Why do you think Biden is hiring the equivalent of 4 divisions of new IRS enforcers?
There is a storm coming.
This. Is. Stunning. !!!
Home Schooling is your only true protection Patents … very difficult … but … no Murdered children or tased parents.
we’re on our own…
More people need to come to that conclusion.
I wish, it’s really “Us against Them”
Yes. The police departments and government, as a whole, could care less about John Q. Citizen.
“Police said that as law enforcement arrived, the person with the gun fled the premises.” Nothing else is said about the threat person. The story reads as though the cops just watched him get away, for want of other details. But the vigilant cops tazed and arrested three parents, including one mother, to show how brave and tough they are. I guess the fbi is being a good example of how to respond to concerned parents.
any proof yet the “shooting” in Texas happened you know crime scene photo,s pools of blood, death
certificates etc you know actual proof there were dead people, ANYONE ???
Understandable that you would suspect a false flag operation, but here’s one of several websites that show the shooting victims and their photos. Even that could be faked if you don’t know any of the families, but I don’t think they would go so far as to offer fake victims.
https://www.texastribune.org/2022/05/25/uvalde-school-shooting-victims/
Why don’t you think so? I have no idea if it was fake or not, but what self-imposed limits do you think these people put on themselves? They advocate for mutilating children who are purposefully confused about what gender they are. And then they mutilate them for money. Certainly faking a few photos of dead children is not a bridge too far.
The children were definitely murdered.
Just like the High School students on the TWA flight to Paris – that Clinton investigators said “blew up because the planes gas tanks overheated” … and parents said nothing … because … just like Seth Rich’s parents – they don’t want their other children to be murdered, I mean, die too.
You do realize that no airliner in history has ever exploded in midair because of its fuel tanks.
The FBI also does not investigate airliner accidents, thats the responsibility of the FAA.
Finally once the “investigation” was over the remains of the aircraft were immediately destroyed. The FBI did this at Waco and Ruby Ridge. Its their SOP to eliminate evidence, no other law enforcement agency in the world does this unless it has the same goals as the FBI.
Hey clownie, how many photos of dead children do you need. You might also look at the conduct of the FBI killing a woman armed with a deadly baby and burning women and children alive at Waco for the crime of following a faith that was not shared by the FBI.
We saw the Stasi in action at the Brady Ranch. Want more photos.
Makes defund the police a valid option.
Reduce cops’ job description to writing speeding tickets and parking tickets–and disarm them. Let armed parents handle it when a school is threatened by a gunman. Cops are too worried about violating the perps’ rights and not concerned at all about law-abiding citizens’ rights.
And it’s been that way for decades. Incarcerated felons have more rights than their victims.
This country has been ruined by lawyers …
VOWG it makes getting Leftist Idealogy out of Law Enforcement.
Homeschooling!!!
Only a total evisceration of current local, state, and federal governments will change this for the better. Peaceful or otherwise. But none of us signed up for this nonsense.
Instead of calling the police during a “lockdown protocol,” call the parents. Guaranteed they will show up armed, and if the gunman is still there, there won’t be enough left of him to pick up with tweezers–and no PARENTS will get hurt or killed by inept, Barney Fife cops, either!
I honestly like that plan.
No one would protect my kids like I would.
Most of America no longer has “law enforcement” as we knew it.
Police are now “establishment stewards”.
The police are not on our side anymore.
The far-reaching effects of :
I’ve been warning about this for years. Schools would go into “lockdown”, which is something they normally do in maximum security prisons, at the drop of a hat.
It has been clear to me for some time that this was being done to let the parents know that they do not own their children, the government does.
I was pretty much alone. Christians, conservatives, old-fashioned civil liberties loving liberals, almost no one could see this for what it was.
Of course, some supported it just out of abject stupidity, and there were those who loved being able to give the order because it made them feel powerful
We’re just a hair away from the ministry of child services removing your children because you object to their chosen gender and drag queen story hour. How many children were “vaccinated” without parental consent?
The police lawfully have –
NO. DUTY. TO. PROTECT.
Well, to be fair, they do a great job of protecting their employment status, their bennies and their pensions.
Parents have more rights to be on campus than LEO’s and they have no right to stop them from getting to their children. Period.
Just another cop justification for their next M-RAP or water cannon or batch of swat tacticool gear so they can impress their buddies at the local cop bar.
They will start shooting us with bean bags and rubber bullets next.
You will submit to my AUTHORITY serfs!!
One more point. I saw this coming years ago in the attitudes of my former cop friends.
Their Coptitude BS just started getting the “us against them” focus instead of “serve and protect”.
Clown-stone Cops, each and every one. Our only hope is for the Sheriffs department’s.
Cops work for the system. Sheriffs are elected and work for us.
Hmm. So elected officials will benevolently work for us because we elected them? Elected officials with law enforcement powers, weapons and deputies at their disposal?
Depending on where you live and who controls the voting process and governmental power behind the scenes that could be a good thing or very detrimental.
Not here. State sheriff is a bureaucrat level in Dept of Law Enforcement. Had elected county sheriffs back in territorial days, but US Congress demanded that Territorial legislature get rid of them. Now it’s like the old office of High Sheriff appointed by the king back in kingdom days.
Back in the 1990’s many conservatives were ranting about militarized police forces, no knock warrants and all of the excess that goes along with that.
The well trained cult of the Republican party sat on it’s hands and obeyed it’s leaders talking points like lemmings.
Now, ta-da… Here we are and oh-no, gee how did things come to this?
Same with national security, voting, the government in general and 100 other things.
IMHO you have to be a COMPLETE MORON not to see these things coming!!!
They would have to shoot me in the back as I ran past them to get into the school. Sadly, I have no doubt that they would.
Texas is a Blue State. Don’t be fooled.
Purple but we are discussing AZ.
I understand the parents’ concern. I also understand the need on the part of the police to avoid chaos at the site of the incident. With possibly armed parents on scene, it could make it impossible for the police to distinguish an assailant from concerned citizens trying to assist.
It’s a MESS, which could have been avoided if the police response to prior incidents had reassured the public that the authorities could be relied upon to take timely, effective action.
Rational people are beginning to understand that the police are a special group even more privileged than elderly white men like me, and the people are beginning to resent being forced to pay for policing that not simply does not benefit them, but actually works to their disadvantage — as we are seeing here. In recent days we have seen ambush deaths of police for whom there was no suggestion that they had done anything wrong.
The fuse has been lit. There is only one thing that will keep it from reaching the powderkeg, but police apologists will remain unable to see it until it blows up in their faces. Then, when parents show up to scenes like this with their rifles, and police begin to die in numbers that cannot be ignored, there will be charges of “insurrection” leveled, and this time they’ll be valid.
Oh, please, don’t go there.
Neil has come to the right conclusion .

If those filthy animal cops are attacked as BLM does the blue boys would quickly grow that big yellow stripe down their filthy backs and run the F away. DISARM AND DEFUND all street cops today, make the streets safe again. Signed A law abiding citizen.
All Filthy violent Animals should be put down even if they wear Blue over the yellow stripe on their backs.
Don’t have empathy when the cops are shot like an animal in the street while eating doughnuts by a BLM supporter. Just smile thinking about this filthy animals acting like a madman tazing folks that are no threat. DISARM and DEFUND all filthy street cops.
I no longer support the police. They’re simply mindeless jackboots. The good ones are outed and fired right away.
I understand that police officers are not required to wade into dangerous situations when armed conflicts occur.
In this case, the police wouldn’t allow the parents to retrieve their kids do to a “lockdown” and actually tased them when trying to do so. The story doesn’t indicate if police were searching the facility which might be a good reason for a lock-down.
Interestingly, one of the parents was armed and actually might have done something good if the “armed intruder” was actually onsite and the police were stationed at the perimeter.
World is pretty upside down at this point.
@Mario Flores
Too many cops have been trampling on Americans’ constitutional rights for decades. Just talk with Black men growing up in Los Angeles. It’s bad enough dealing with gang bangers without thugs in uniform adding to the problem.
If parents are so in fear of their children getting shot at school-home school them. There are always 2 sides to every story. Think about the chaos that would have ensued if the police let all the parents who show up in rabid fear to go into the school to get their kid? In an unstabilized situation…What could go wrong?
Good grief police have a job, because it wasn’t done correctly and politized to the max in Uvalde doesn’t make it the norm.
Harden the schools – arm teachers or keep your kids at home if going to school is so scary.
The police cannot be expected to be everywhere and live up to everyone’s ideal standards of behavior, they are human also.
Maybe we need to look at why we are being scared to death about everything and how divisive it is to us & our communities?
Virtually all cops are not your friend – don’t unlearn this fact. They are incompetent at best government employees to allow to use a gun with NO consequence.
Thank you for reporting this. I can see police not wanting to allow just anyone in just because they said they were a parent, but this scenario should have been foreseen.
I think everyone will become a little bit more rational, when what happened in Uvalde is fully explained, and those who caused it to get so messed up, are punished with severity. I hope it doesn’t have to be the parents who do the punishing.
