Bunker boy Ron DeSantis has completed five days of silence and is scheduled to re-emerge tomorrow in Arizona as part of the TPUSA national tour. Those of you who have walked the deep weeds of national politics, know exactly what is happening. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has entered the managing phase of the GOPe candidate process.
[The TLDR version is HERE] – The well-liked Florida Governor has remained silent and invisible for five days, ever since the FBI raid against President Trump at Mar-a-Lago, in West Palm Beach, Florida. {Go Deep} The governor of the state has said nothing and avoided any opportunity where he may have been asked for comment. Instead, he has transmitted two pre-recorded statements from the bunker.
The silence is deafening transparency for those who accept how the professional republican club operates; the key word is “accept.” Unfortunately, there is a jaw-dropping amount of denial. We are seeing the outcome of Ron DeSantis being professionally managed by the GOPe club.
Now we move into the phase of re-branding where risks are mitigated, and positions are modified. Earlier today, while still in the bunker, DeSantis’ press secretary Christina Pushaw announced her exit.
As the rebranding takes shape, Ms. Pushaw is now moved away from the principle (that’s Ron) and becomes a part of the campaign team.
(FLORIDA) – Christina Pushaw, Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Press Secretary, departed her administrative role Friday to join the Republican Governor’s re-election campaign.
The Florida Standard, a conservative new media outlet, was the first to report Pushaw’s shuffle and published her resignation letter, which Pushaw sent to Chief of Staff James Uthmeier and Director of Administration Dawn Hanson on Friday. She will become the campaign’s Director of Rapid Response beginning Monday.
Deputy Press Secretary Bryan Griffin will step in as lead Press Secretary on Monday, where he will report directly to Communications Director Taryn Fenske. (more)
DeSantis has no primary challenger, so the club timing right on schedule. He emerges from the bunker with a few weeks to break in the new alliance, new team, new campaign motive and new brand image. Bold becomes pastel. Tomorrow the GOPe club kick-off the relaunch through the aligned TPUSA organization, which they have now taken control by purchasing Charlie Kirk. Remember, in club politics it’s the money that changes things.
The script will follow the customary mapping. DeSantis will start a national enhanced branding effort, increased exposure to unfamiliar audiences, and simultaneously absorb the MAGA aspect the GOPe need. MAGA bona fides will come from appearances with names like Kari Lake and Blake Masters, under the auspices of endorsements.
On its face, it is supposed to look like DeSantis is endorsing Kari Lake and Blake Masters, two strong MAGA candidates. However, the actual club motive is to transfer the MAGA currency of Lake and Masters into the pocket of DeSantis.
The club gets much more out of it than Lake or Masters. The club gets the stealth benefits that people never pay attention to. This is part of the brand image for DeSantis and club strategy.
Whether Ron DeSantis knew of the DC/FBI targeting effort before Monday is a moot point. What DeSantis did know was that this week a new branding effort would begin. It started with the “Dear Governor DeSantis” commercials. The subtle shift is to nudge him out of Florida politics into a more prominent national role
All of this is coordinated by the national club. Nothing is just random, but the presentation to the voters must retain the illusion of choice.
Everything now is about club branding and club management. That’s why I knew four days ago that Pushaw would depart, and I started to deliver statements on Twitter toward that end. Many people became upset. However, I do not take such a severe position, as I did on Monday, without overlaying all of the data-points we have assembled. I know it sometimes shocks people, they get mad at me, but as you watch it you will see it unfold. This is simply how the club operates.
It’s not DeSantis fault per se’. He doesn’t really have many options. He holds no independent wealth to keep the club away from influence.
DeSantis is being managed now. He’s shifted into the Pence, Jeb, Haley, professional wing of the club. Things change. He’s accepting GOPe grooming (bunker silence). Simultaneously risks are distanced (Pushaw departs official orbit), proximity mitigation. It really is just a mgmt/branding effort.
Now he will begin a national tour. A book (written for him) is looming. The pattern never changes.
The “professionals” will now enter the picture. The orbit of DeSantis will be more controlled. Representatives will come from the professional political class. Speeches and remarks will be filtered and approved. Risks will be mitigated. Control mechanisms in place. However, the illusion of authenticity must be retained. This is the club weak point (see Cruz and Haley). This is what the club will try to modify with DeSantis and Kristi Noem.
At first, whenever DeSantis reemerges – likely tomorrow, you will notice a subtle shift, perhaps an awkwardness. A slight change in the authenticity you used to love. A more careful and deliberate speech pattern. Longer thoughts before responses. More appearances on Fox News. Brett Baier et al, w/ the assist.
The technique is Norman Rockwell (optics) and Ward Cleaver (tones), soft hues and gentlemanly pastels.
Club branding is subtle on the image front, but very clear on the substantive messaging side. Social issues selected to maximize camp coalition, and influence base.
Consistently present political messaging where the republican voter base can say “yes.” Keep the “yes” messaging at the forefront (social emphasis). Focus on values. Schools, kids, safety, woke pushback, media bias etc, keep the audiences nodding yes. Ultimately, it’s a sales technique. Identify with the target to influence their decisions.
Issues around multinational & corporate economics, hard lines, foreign policy, all these things must be avoided – except in general terms. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is not to be challenged, not really. Keep the message social and build the emotional connection. It is harder to break an emotional bond than a logical or cognitive bond.
These are the political techniques of Lee Atwater that still make up the bulk of the GOPe club playbook. The greatest skill of the professionally republican is to present the illusion of choice in such a way as the voters do not see it.
Keep in mind, back in Washington DC both clubs are collaborating on the Trump removal program because both clubs’ benefit.
If we watch closely, we will see a MAGA-lite, professionally controlled republican go from five-days as a pupa (now) to chrysalis (next), to national club butterfly.
.
Hi Karl.
His unwavering support for a foreign country in the Middle East should’ve been a big red flag to anyone with half a brain that isn’t already poisoned by the judeo-bolshevik mind virus.
So let me get this straight, you say: “The well-liked Florida Governor has remained silent and invisible for five days, ever since the FBI raid against President Trump at Mar-a-Lago, in West Palm Beach, Florida. The governor of the state has said nothing ” Then you post his tweet right after the raid that clearly shows he is not been silent?!?!
And then, this ‘silence’, which isn’t really silence, somehow shows that DeSantis is now being managed by the GOP?
Someone needs to lay off the sauce.
My second thought is maybe DJT told DeSantis not to get involved.
The surveillance camers were rolling per Lara Trump, and they were watching everything in real time in NYC in Trump Towers. DJT wanted the Feds to screw up, thus intervention by the State was unwarranted.
Sometimes, in a war, it’s better to let the enemy screw up on their own.
Trump will announce he’s in the race for President soon. Then watch the crowd sizes. Ron is useful for uniting R’s this year in AZ, PA and OH but really is a dud speaker unless he’s chasing drag queens around Florida. Ron’s real Achilles heel will be his beautiful young wife with a terrible breast cancer diagnosis. She is now free of it but it will remain a threat to her for the rest of her life.
Best DeSantis will be able to do in 2024 is VP.
The Santis will not be Trumps VP. It isn’t I either man’s best interest. In addition, DeSantis gas given every indication that the nomination is Trump’s if he wants it, and will not announce a candidacy unless Trump is out. Political and Demographic factors like both being Floridians and both being alpha males also enter the equation.
so, no.
Well, now he thinks Trump is out and cannot run..the little traitor.
I hope DeSantis will stay in FL as Governor to strengthen the MAGA cause and hold down the fort in FL until 2028 – then he will know his wife is indeed cancer free and the children are a bit older and ready for the evil leftist onslaught against all things good and true.
If he is smart, not greedy, and checks his ego, that is exactly what he will do.
I don’t know how the R primaries work because I don’t participate in the farcical federal voting system but short of massive fraud — and that is the default pattern now — DeSantis has no chance against Trump in the primary. I don’t think he has a chance even if Trump is under some sort of cooked-up indictment.
My current bet is Tucker v Newsom. The Cabal will figure out which of the two offers them the most advantage in terms of reaction from the citizenry — it seems odd to use that word now; maybe it would be better to start referring to “slave classes” — and they’ll select that person. Tucker being a safety-valve to prevent true populism and white identity politics from arising, I suspect he may get the nod to prevent an uprising from the “right” and yet also justify more “Summer of Love” behavior from the PNW hive.
Achilles heel? That diagnosis is political gold. That will get him a certain percent of the stupid soccer mom vote. It’s a huge benefit to his electability.
How is recovering from breast cancer an “Achilles heel” for DeSantis’ political future?
Definition: a seemingly small but actual mortal weakness
Charles, do some research. Read this:
https://statescoop.com/florida-election-cybersecurity-5-million-desantis/
this makes both sad and sick to my stomach. sad that a firebrand has been co-opted and sick that he let it happen
It has been easy to see for quite a while that he was one of the deep state ploys to replace Trump. They will lose though. God is using Trump for such a time as this. We don’t get to see the workings behind the scenes just as the Israelites didn’t get to see the workings of God with Moses behind the scenes.
I agree. Sundance becoming “Never DeSantis” is sickening.
If he is just pointing out the facts, why are you sickened? Or are you saying that they aren’t facts?
its what happens when boys dont understand what Men are saying.
They are opinions based on distant observations, not facts
I was very disappointed by the facts, too
And ,
I will not be bashing DeSantis .
I accept the DeSantis facts.
I think.
DeSantis is a great back up plan to TRUMP.
now,
The sun is up and it’s
a great day.
because ,
I accept the things I can’t change.
What facts?
It’s all conjecture.
Pepto Bismol is good for that ailment.
Take a breather and watch what unfolds.
“Sickening”.
Please cheer up. Becoming sick is Gods way of letting you know you’re being poisoned and a way to purge those poisons from your body so they don’t kill you.
Dr Sundance hasn’t poisoned you. Dr Sundance is trying to help you understand what’s happening so you can avoid becoming sicker and return to heath more quickly.
Typically, the truth hurts, especially at first. However, there’s no real gain without pain.
God bless Dr. Sundance for fearlessly dispensing these “orange pills”. His courage is inspiring.
“there’s no real gain without pain”
The sickening part is there is no gain in bashing DESANTIS without an alternative.
The people will elect TRUMP vs. DESANTIS.
DESANTIS is a warrior against the DEMS.
I live in CALIFORNIA so I see things differently .
We have better weather than FLORIDA ,but my governor sucks..
Yes …there was a reason Newsom was running ads in Florida……
Instead of resorting to emotional over-the-top condemnations, why don’t you explain where he’s wrong? What data points that he laid out are wrong or misinterpreted?
I have strongly supported DeSantis but his radio silence on the Trump raid is a huge red flag. Even Kristi Noem has been stronger for crying out loud. Yet this happened in his state and he’s been quiet as a church mouse. This should be his time to shine as a strong critic of the administrative state and a Tenth Amendment guy. Yet nothing other then a tepid tweet.
Sundance brings up a good point in that DeSantis is poor (relatively speaking). When the entire administrative state is gunning for him he doesn’t have the financial resources to defend himself, he really has no choice but to depend on the GOP establishment. Unlike Trump, he can’t tell them to go screw themselves.
I’m not ready to throw DeSantis overboard yet, but time has shown that Sundance usually sniffs this stuff out way before anyone else. I’m definitely more alert now, and will be watching his moves closely. Yet we are not even allowed to make these observations without being called “sickening”? Please take off the blinders and consider all facts before declaring certain subjects off-limits.
Is Kari Lake rich?
Is Kristi rich?
DeSantis isn’t rich so he must be bought!
LOL
Typical non-sequitur argument that puts words in my mouth I didn’t say coupled with sneering buffoonery. If this is representative of the intellectual capability on our side, no wonder we are losing.
Did I mention Lake? No. Did I say Noem wasn’t bought? Of course not, I simply mentioned her statements were stronger than the DeSantis statement. That’s a problem particularly since it happened in his state.
The fact DeSantis is poor is an objective fact, I didn’t make it up. Did I say he was bought? No , I simply stated another objective fact that he has to depend on the GOP-e for his defense. Trump is not because he is independently wealthy.
Seriously, your response is infantile. Hopefully we have more brainpower than this on our side.
I agree……its like a justification of doing a deal with the devil……unforgivable in my opinion.
I do most of my commenting on Substacks and now I know why. There are some really informed folks on here but way too many low-information buffoons.
Pro-tip Einstein, completely twisting someone else’s words into something they didn’t say is de-facto evidence of bad faith. It may work on fellow boobs but doesn’t work on people that can think for themselves.
I hate, hate, hate these facts. Those of us who were hoping, if Trump’s bid failed for ANY reason, that DeSantis would be our backup against the administrative state (WEF, globalists, etc), are seeing this ripped asunder. DeSantis has always held back from a certain line in the sand drawn by the administrative state. While Trump worked with the snakes out of ignorance and out of necessity, DeSantis already knows who they are and that they will eat him alive. There is still a possibility that time and God will work DeSantis’s role out to his glory. But, IMHO, this is a huge political mistake DeSantis is making, allowing the premature positioning of his bid for the Presidency against Trump. He will not win this bid, even if Trump is somehow absent. Also, if he had gotten behind Trump on this, it would have cost him nothing in votes because many Democrats are dismayed at the mockery Garland has wrought. It is not JUST MAGA who are upset about it, it is pretty much everybody except maybe the 12% supporting Biden.
I hear you and hoped (still hope actually) that DeSantis is the guy. He has been great on so many things and has repeatedly shown other governors how it needs to be done. Suspending that Soros DA in Hillsborough County was huge, no other governor has had the courage to do anything like that.
His silence on the Trump raid though is really disturbing, when even people like Rep. Stefanik from New York are making strong statements. The White House and DOJ crossed a bright red line, they did it in his state, and they did it to one of his residents. Yet we are getting behavior that we would expect from Mike DeWine or Asa Hutchinson.
Perhaps this is some grand strategy that is leading up to something big but usually the simplest explanation is the correct one. Unfortunately.
Why assume the worst, after all President Trump shook a lot of hands, appointed, associated with and even profusely lauded many who turned out to be on the other side or abject traitors. One day they were the greatest and the next day they were no good.
Co-opted? He’s a career politician just like Ted Cruz or John Kerry. He’s made every decision since 18 with his eye on the Whithouse.
Money is the root of all evil
I agree. Sad and sickening to see that Sundance has become “Never DeSantis.”
Loved the shout out at the end. Precisely, SD!
Who do you think he is referring to when he says “Hi Karl?”
My guess- Karl Denninger from Market Ticker.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Rove
Was going to ask who? But looked him up instead and had an “oh yea, forgot about him” moment. Thanks for the reminder.
More likely Rove
Karl Rove. On a reconnaissance mission. He masquerades as a Republican. Transparently deceptive, his strong skill is undermining Conservatives, sowing doubt by he said, she said; posturing as an ultimate insider, contributing confusion (the purpose for his overexposure), a tool in the hands of GOP e’s. Nothing more.
The rotund, shiny domed, bespectacled, little canker blossom.
Rove. Clearly.
Apparently the little GOP troll reads CTH.
Karl Rove?
Are you kidding? Denninger is not on the national stage or a politician.
Rove = GOPe / RINOs
Karl Rove already has his money on Tim Scott for a run in 2024. Said as much on fox.
gross
What a pitiful choice. Not happening, Karl.
Near as I know pretty much every candidate Karl Rove’s PAC (Crossroads??) has lost.
Rove knows Tim is going nowhere…
Maybe ….as explained in 2015 by Sundance…..The GOPe is running the splitter or was it splinter..LOL…strategy. Run many popular candidates to split the vote so that your candidate (then Jeb) can win the primary with 20 to 30% of the final vote. Didn’t work then don’t know why they think it will work this go around…UNLESS….they think they can do great damage to Trump. INDICTMENTS. …..Was the GOPe in on this raid?….Did you see how Jessie raked Graham ars over the coals for not being as upset about the raid as he was about all things Ukraine?
Sundance was not referencing Karl for his money, he was referencing Karl for his political stance (aka betrayal). This suggests that DeSantis’ MAGA is fake. Even without the MAGA, DeSantis is a strong leader in the political universe, a family first man. I do not think DeSantis’s economics background and understanding is as deep as Trump’s and Trump’s team. This is a huge problem on the national MAGA stage. It is not as huge a problem in a state like Florida, where retirees, the Federal Space Program and tourism are primary. There is manufacturing in Florida but almost all of it is tied to the Space Program or to military programs.
The MAGA movement will never support weakling and owned Tim Scott.
I’m not very high on Scott at the moment. Why on earth is he endorsing Lisa Murkowski? He also comes out of that gop power structure in S.C. that gave us Never Niki and Lindsey.
I don’t think he is truly MAGA even though Trump endorsed him.
I think even those outside CTH are getting Tim Scott’s number after that Murkowski thing.
If the GOPe are telling Gov DeSantis he can win because the Obiden regime will damage President Trump, DeSantis should not listen. The reality is that President Trump could run from jail—and still win!
So true! Especially from jail! Martyred Abe won the election for his successor in Japan.
So did Mayor Curley of Boston.
You have to hand it to GOPe , they are repackaging DeS. to be the TeD Cruz of 2024 -I totally agree that he is “free riding “ on Kari Lake victory , all carefully choreographed. The fact he didn’t come out to condemn raid in his backyard on President Trump , shows they CAN’T deal with unchoreographed events – very telling – And princess Nikki will be promoted as the VP choice , with S.D . Noem as a ready backup replacement . He just needs Garland and MSM to do a little more heavy lifting for him to clear the path. CAREER politicians of both parties are ALL the same …. narcissistically ambitious…
For Career politicians the next higher office and the next is Like Catnip to them , they can’t resist it …
“Free riding” on Kari Lake??
She’s not even governor. She just won the primary. Ron on the other hand is AMERICA’S governor. He’s going there to campaign for HER. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND
SMH. Again…. Sigh…
So naive
Project much?
Troll much ?
Been posting here since Travon Martin, and you?
Zzzz
Yes, that’s the goal of these national appearances: to make DeSantis “America’s governor.”
DeSantis is campaigning with Kari Lake to try to make him the MAGA kingmaker, to establish him as a splitter candidate to dilute President Trump’s support.
If he were actually MAGA, he wouldn’t be silent about the raid.
If he were actually MAGA, he wouldn’t be funded by the same people who funded Bush.
He is going on the national stage to trick people into thinking he is MAGA.
We don’t know any of these people. They only appear on our televisions and computers.
And we hear them say things, and we think, “That’s right! I like this guy!”
People LOVED Pence. It wasn’t long ago that they loved him.
And people loved Dan Crenshaw, the one-eyed ex Seal, he HAD TO BE GREAT! . . . and on and on it goes. . . people are continually tricked and tricked again. They even loved Nikki Haley, the tea party candidate (it was believed).
But these people are all FUNDED by big corporations.
Very good ,all true , but let me answer for JAS ….
It’s the people who funded Bush …
That’s it.
LOL
Guess I am different than most….I disliked all those people. But I instantly knew Trump was my candidate..I think it was that way with most of Trumps supporters many of whom had not voted in past elections. I was not that impressed with DeSantis because I felt that the decisions he made were after all… just common sense moves. People were so hungry for a leader to actually do things to improve their lives and their state that DeSantis looked like a “savior” compared to all the others. Abbot is a good example of typical GOPe who does the bare minimum but falls way short on the Border. The GOPe will end up hurting DeSantis image if he doesn’t succeed in doing that himself. Question is…..why does DeSantis think he has a snowballs chance in hell against Trump? Does he know something we don’t? Is he arrogant enough to think he would make a better President?
Yes, they want to create the perception that DeSantis is the upcoming MAGA heir should Trump be sidelined.
Nobody will take over Trump’s movement without Trump publicly passing the torch and asking his people to support his choice.
I never loved Pence or Niki. I didn’t even like them.
I never paid much attention to Crenshaw until he supported Liz Cheney. Let’s put it this way, I wouldn’t vote for him if he had a decent challenger.
Not me. I hate everyone of them on both sides.
Both Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz state that they have refused PAC money – which I assume can be easily verified – and that they are the only two to have done so in the entire DC politicorruptian kit and kaboodle (emphasis on the boodle part).
I believe some of the MAGA candidates have claimed they will do the same – and I hope so…
Ron is “AMERICAs governor”.
All 50 states have a governor. Isn’t Ron Florida’s governor ie just ONE of those 50 governors?
Or did Florida change its name to ” AMERICA” and I missed Rons photo op presser where this name change was announced?
I hope you’re right
Exactly.
Hope they limit Rons speech. He is a TERRIBLE speaker.
I hope the opposite. We need as much verifiable data as we can get.
Seeing as though she has Trump’s endorsement and she won her primary without DeSantis, is he really needed there to campaign for her? She was a newscaster. Arizonans know her already. Why would a governor from Florida need to make an appearance at an event to help rally support for her? No conspiracies but no coincidences. DeSantis didn’t endorse or back her prior to the primary race. Think this over…what’s in this event for DeSantis? Why is he really there?Discernment…pray for it.
Slowly putting his toe in the water. Getting a little exposure. Face time. Nationwide. Some people don’t know who he is outside fl..
I don’t know much about Kari Lake. That she is a beautiful, very charismatic & articulate, and an impassioned defender of Trump is obvious. I have heard her vow to restore election integrity to Arizona and blow up the tunnels of the drug cartels. All need doing, but we have yet to see how she will govern if she wins.
There is lot that goes into the running of state government. I wish her well, but I think she will need more experience before being touted as a VP choice.
Kari’s charisma clearly outweighs that of DeSantis, so no – it is not the other way around. That much is evident.
Naturally, by what Sundance has shown me over the years, I watch carefully what she says too, because she is an unknown quantity – as was President Trump. But her words and personality are far stronger and braver than those of DeSantis. Her words include fighting all the larger issues that DeSantis avoids – and yes that is a significant tell.
If Sundance is correct about DeSantis, then unfortunately we no longer simply can look to what a politician has done versus what he has said. DeSantis has done so many good things, that until now it has seemed like the ultimate evidence of a true MAGA person.
But if it indeed turns out that he is on the wrong side of those other critical things that he has not done and said, we are again on unchartered ground.
I agree with Sundance that those are absolutely critical issues – and we will need be even more perspicacious as we try to figure these people out before it’s too late.
Eyes wider open yet again – and that’s the value of the CTH, always.
DeSantis….Kristi Noem…..what a fab duo. YUCK! Noem sure has been looking slutty these days.
Excellent article on this topic from American Thinker.
https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2022/08/dont_abandon_trump_because_you_have_a_desantis_in_your_back_pocket.html
Someone just tagged CTH’s DeSantis story to this American Thinker article.
Thank you for posting this link.
Great article. Nobody can fill Trump’s shoes, not even DeSantis. DeSantis is popular in Florida but this does not translate nationally.
And after hiding away for 5 days to avoid commenting on the Trump raid in his state, DeSantis just tarnished himself in the eyes of MAGA voters.
So far, it seems most (not all) of the few commenters agree with the author and with Sundance.
I certainly do.
If there is one thing I have learned from CTH, it is to listen to what they “don’t say”. Always look at their background.
DeSantis’ silence regarding Mar a Lago set off the alarms. His history looks like he has been groomed from the beginning.
I am so suspicious of him now that I wonder if he was “allowed” from the beginning to promote his populist crusade??
He is no friend of President Trump and now it shows.
Was DeSantis allowed to take the most sensible approach to Covid in a state with the highest number of elderly? Was DeSantis allowed to take on one of the largest and most influential companies in the world and prevail? Was DeSantis allowed to take the lead on signing legislation protecting school children from radical gender theory? You can bet that GOPe did not support any of this.
I get it , he is a good Governor , let him keep being a “good” Governor , he doesn’t need immediate promotion , knighting , sainthood , whatever…
Thanks for making that important point.
How or why we’ve gotten caught up in the madness of handicapping 2024 in the midst of an ongoing color revolution threatening the very existence of the United States is baffling!
What matters now is voting in those candidates that profess to be MAGA, and praising those officeholders that are MAGA, not only in word, but in deed, and that includes DeSantis. Duh!
Let the Roves and the GOPe be what they are. If Trump feels up to 2024, his competition won’t stand a chance.
Disney stupidly decided to fund only democrats in Florida’s state legislature.
The GOPe wants its cut from Disney.
If we don’t get the election nonsense re: mail in voting,
It won’t matter who the GOP candidate is. Biden will get re elected from his grave.
The game is to bring DeS around to playing ball and making bank with the cigar smoking short armed fatties. He’s an honest man but money is what it takes and the Mitch McConnell world of money needs him. The reality is that.
I think those are the hot-button, base-signaling “social connection” issues Sundance referred to. Sure they’re good things, but a MAGA candidate goes after much more, down to the frame — deep state, wall street, global money. DeSantis hasn’t gone within 50 miles of those things. Sure, I get that he’s a state governor and has no real power there. But the fact that he’s “owning the libtards” with anti-woke measures (which may, or may not be, enforced) says nothing about him as a MAGA candidate. It’s like hearing that Kristi! is against vaccine mandates … because she thinks we don’t belong to government, we’re the property of the corporations that employ us instead. Sounds like freedom but isn’t.
Jeb was a good Gov in Fl. too.
Please clap.
The school children is no great achievement. It’s pathetic. It says don’t talk to the kids about degeneracy until their 8. At eight you can have a drag queen come in and talk to them about BDSM and far worse. But good golly we will not allow you to bring them into the kindergartens – so brave.
GA opened up before FL and TX was just as open. SD, WY, MT, etc. never closed. And there were many states that were very open but didn’t get the PR like Ronny.
Taking on Disney? That’s classic get the social cons onboard without taking on the Chamber of Commerce. Disney is loathed and an easy target. And guess what they haven’t actually lost their tax/governing status yet – that actually happening is not guaranteed and quite away out.
Ronny is not MAGA – MAGA is economic nationalism – Ronny’s economic policies are no different than Haley, Noem, Jeb!. As such Ronny can’t win the WH as the rust belt will not vote for him and any GOP candidate needs the rust belt for the WH now that CO, VA, NV are no longer red.
Well he is under their thumb now……
Plus, his most recent firing of the woke prosecutor which, has national implications.
DeSantis took actual steps on specific issues. I wish Trump had gone on the offensive especially against the deep state.
Yes that was an excellent choice, and a lasting one.
Eyes wide open…
If he is indeed a GOPe sleeper, then we can only hope he is given free reign to keep doing the right stuff as long as “they” think they need him to for appearance’s sake. Silver lining…
He was not allowed. He picked battles he could win. I believe these were battles where he was being authentic. He is not a WEF/internationalist.
The International corporatists are not ideological. They are businessmen. DeSantis has not done anything to stand up to them. He has not stood up to the trafficking in Florida in any meaningful way. He has not stood up to the influx of illegals from this administration in any meaningful way. He is not cutting their source of cheap labor, higher income than drug running or stepping on the toes of the military or military contractors.
If my reading on what is in the vials of the clot shot are correct, there will be a significant die off of Florida’s elderly. DeSantis did not do stupid stuff with nursing homes, but, he did make shots available to any and all, and later monoclonal antibiodies. A majority of Floridians in their 60s and above have been vaccinated.
Monoclonal antibodies were a PDJT win that saved many lives (I speak from personal experience) until suppressed needlessly and cruelly by the evil doers.
He criticized the raid the same day it occurred.
You obviously missed this article…
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/08/10/the-silence-of-desantis-florida-governor-ducks-media-appearances-records-statements-seeking-to-avoid-questions-about-trump-raid/
DeSantis criticized the raid the same day it occurred.
Weakly.
Sundance made the point that Ron did not even see fit to mention President Trump’s name. This does not look good.
DeSantis “is no friend of President Trump and now it shows.”
——
True.
He is no friend of President Trump and now it SHOUTS!
It’s obvious now. He will be running as a splitter candidate against President Trump for the presidential election.
The GOPe will not use a splitter strategy this time. Its more like a bait and switch.
Excellent point. They have moved the splitter strategy downstream now.
It’s raging in blueMA where I am. They have fielded an obviously deep-pockets RINO Chris Doughty against the Trump-endorsed and solid Geoff Diehl for governor. Doughty sends me several emails a day claiming to be America First. Ha ha.
This would be a grave mistake for DeSantis’ political career, but, he may not perceive that the authoritarian state can/will be defeated by MAGA. Trump is not necessary for MAGA. MAGA is necessary for the US to prosper.
Didn’t Trump groom him?
No he groomed himself. He’s been planning this run since he was at least 18 years old.
When he was 18 the scam was not as obvious. Now he is stuck between the irresistible force and the immovable object in pursuing his lifelong dream.
Get ready for the wave of trolls from desantis’ GOPe pr “troll chaff team”.
They are experienced at this roll out of defensive trolls.
Well done, Sundance. Now, do Ms Lake.
Cynical ? Kari Lake is NOT a politician , worked in real world job for 20 years -etc a background more like President Trump than Ron Des. Who has been a politician from day one – Like Bush ,Kerry and Ted etc – all Ivies BTW. -coincidence , probably
I don’t believe his service in the Navy qualifies as a politician.
HIs service as a Rep in the SWAMP does.. DeSantis has been
part of the Swamp before he became Governor so he knows
the game..
JAG after Harvard Law – – part of the ladder – a couple of years – then runs for office …
You forgot that he taught high school for a year between Yale undergrad and Harvard Law … but he ran for office right away, first chance -that’s the ‘tell’ , folks, eye always on the “prize” i.e – elected office – As I said let him keep being the “ good “ governor that so many like – for the crystal ball 🔮, I wonder if he will support President Trump for the nomination … hmmm
One other factor , people forget < he announced in 2015 that he was going to run for Rubio’s senate seat in 2016 election , after Rubio said he was running for Presidential nomination – he dropped that when Rubio dropped out of race and said he would run for re-election , then the runs for Governor instead in 2018 – an ambitious boy always looking for higher office ….
Yes it does, It was resume building. He served as an attorney adviser – he wasn’t in combat. He was building his resume like Kerry, Buttigieg, Al Gore, Cotton, etc.
Not cynical…just tired. More than happy to admit I’m wrong when she proves it.
The only thing that can prove Kri Lake is being elected and proceeding to givern as promised.
I for one am still willing to give her that chance, happily. Outsider speaks volumes to me – it was one of the main reasons I had the gut good feeling with PDJT, and I have it again with her.
Seems to me like a Sarah Palin with all the fire and good looks, plus better articulation. (And not dissing dear Sarah for a moment, rooting for her to beat back the Rancid Voting scam in AL.)
Why did I know that was coming? Never fails!
Lake Lake bo pake ….
Desantis Burnhisdick
Sundance is being quite kind in insinuating that Desantis hasn’t always been a part of the “club”, that is the deep state.
Donald Trump = Tea Party v2.0… with the same fate thanks to the swamp/deep/administrative state, the ACTUAL government.
Not done yet.
Sundance, I have been reading your posts for 8 years, geesh maybe longer, and have found you to be a true oracle worthy of ancient Greece reverence. I have told many people to read every word published on this site as I do. Takes a couple cups of coffee most days to filter it all to gain understanding of the knowledge that is presented. I have no doubt that what you have posted this morning will come to pass. Thank you and please stay vigilant.
Maybe this analysis is accurate but Let’s also be fair. De Santis issued a harsh criticism the same day as the raid more than others in his party did. He said we were a banana republic. How many statements on the raid does he need to issue?
if he became the nominee does anyone think the left will not viciously attacked him like they did Trump? Or they will mot cheat in 2024 to prevent his election?
From his personal, NOT official twitter account came the rebuke on the raid from Desantis. People, please remember Ron DeSantis is a former Congressman, and the number of MAGA congressmen can be counted on one hand. DeSantis is not MAGA, of this I am certain Sundance is 100% correct.
So what?
That’s your red line.
He issued tweet from his personal account.
It’s just nonsense from CTH.
I’ve never seen the name Bunky until today – hmmm
Once again…
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/08/10/the-silence-of-desantis-florida-governor-ducks-media-appearances-records-statements-seeking-to-avoid-questions-about-trump-raid/
Harsh??
HAHAHAHAHAHA
I hope Sundance takes a look back into DeSantis as a DC participant and how he voted. Did the GOPe actually groom him to be a Governor so that he would be a future Presidential candidate …say like both Bush boys, Noem, Hailey?
The type of deeper review and reveal that only Sundance can do would be great!
“De Santis issued a harsh criticism the same day as the raid more than others in his party did.”
Harsh? His tweet was red flag-worthy precisely BECAUSE it was conspicuously INDIRECT, nor was it anywhere near being “harsh”. He used far more words mentioning two other issues unrelated to Mar-A-Lago. Then he added two now-badly-overused words – Banana Republic – at the very end.
RD’s tweet was the political equivalent of throwing a loose wad of yarn at the enemy rather than a hard rock.
Lovely metaphor there.
Last month (before the raid on Mar-A-Lago) DeSantis announced that he was not going to play along with the leftist media strategy of edited sound bites and “gotcha” questions. But now, Sundance whines that DeSantis is not running around, giving “media appearances” and “answering questions” about an event he had nothing to do with. “DeSantis is in the bunker,” lies Sundance, as the country’s best governor fights for and wins even more freedom for his state. With schools opening across the state and a re-election campaign to manage, DeSantis has more important things on his plate than catering to the tantrums of whiney journalists, including Sundance.
Then why is he traveling to Arizona and other states if he’s so busy?
Oh please he’s almost as bad as Chuck Schumer when he sees a camera. So, you’re on Saundance’s site calling him a liar? Wow
Sundance never whines.
He points out everything instead of what we all desire to see.
It’s up to us to proceed to our own conclusions based on every piece of information we can glean, as always.
That said, calling Sundance names because he does this is just plain rude.
Bush part III
Uh…. Hell no
Unlike many of Sundance’s posts that are replete with links to facts to support his assertions, sadly this one today is nothing but speculation, and speculation that actually damages the America First movement. I am old enough to remember Ronald Reagan selecting George H.W. Bush (GOPe/CIA) as his Vice President and that broke a 50 year Democrat hammerlock on the Federal Government, turned the economy around and ended the Cold War. Sometimes, to win a war, you make less than ideal alliances to ensure victory. That may be the case here, and it may not. We do NOT know. To speculate this way is reckless and irresponsible.
It’s not speculation that DeSantis is funded by the same people who funded Bush.
I think you need to read the article again with as much of an unbiased viewpoint as you can. There’s plenty of evidence to support Sundance’s position. It’s well-reasoned.
We have learned important lessons in the past that what you see is what you get.
What is DeSantis doing for Trump? DeSantis leveraged Trump’s popularity and inherited Trump’s supporters. DeSantis probably wouldn’t have even won the 2018 Florida Governor’s race without Trump’s endorsement. (He barely won.) The raid happened in DeSantis’ state. The Trumps must be traumatized by what happened. So what is DeSantis doing to help? Going on a multi-state Turning Point tour of battleground states as the featured speaker when he has his own Florida race for re-election coming up?
Look at what Turning Point’s Charlie Kirk is saying about DeSantis:
Gov. DeSantis is America’s Governor and one of the most popular leaders in the country. He has become the model for a new conservative movement that is willing to stand on principle and to actually fight on behalf of the values of his voters.
He’s talking like Trump doesn’t even exist! America’s Governor? We don’t need America’s Governor if we have Trump. New conservative movement? The new conservative movement is MAGA and Trump is the leader. We don’t need another new movement while MAGA is still going strong.
I’m convinced now it’s all about money. I think there’s big money being poured into TPUSA and other organizations to promote candidates other than Trump. And there’s DeSantis, with his $21k of outstanding student loans still at age 43, willing to participate.
I hope that all Trump supporters can see what’s going on and make a clear statement to DeSantis. Have some respect for Trump, defer to him, or you’re going to be stuck as Florida Governor (which obviously isn’t a bad position but clearly he wants to be President).
“To speculate this way is rEcKlEsS and iRreSpoNsiBlE”.
Posing a dangerous threat to our democracy?
Shall we beg Twitter to protect us from these ” dangerously irReSpoNsiBlE “wrong thoughts”?
Praying for all Mommy Dearests and tsk tsking Church Ladies. Please “Lighten” up asap.
Yep stop clutching the pearls or they will be bursting and scattering all over the floor.
Trump did this when he chose Pence. So, it is not without precedent.
My God, for the life of me, I cannot understand the battered conservative syndrome going on in these comments.
How many times must conservatives witness the corrupt gopE screwing them before they wake the hell up?
Go ahead, vote for Romney again and than cry about it.
We need a united front, PERIOD !
WOLVERINES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
‘We need a united front, PERIOD !’ — JRD
Scariest thing I’ve read all day:
‘DeSantis, he said, is a “potential unifier” in a fractured party.’
https://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/news/ron-desantis-to-rally-with-kari-lake-blake-masters-in-phoenix-14183033
DeSantis / Romney in 2024: a ‘unifying’ dream ticket. /sarc
The funny thing is the fractured part, the anti-Trump faction, is quite small compared to the pro-Trump faction. But the reports always make it seem like the division is much worse.
DeSantis is a wedge, not a unifier. The GOPEs and their donors want Trump out, they’re backing DeSantis. F them.
I agree we need to be united. But TPUSA splintering off of MAGA to promote their own candidate, on the sly, is divisive.
Just put the question to TPUSA ….lets see if they answer.
Charlie Kirk has always struck me as kind of sketchy.
I am more worried about Jack Posobeic’s connection with TPUSA, because I have never heard Jack say a word against PDJT or speak of him with any dismissal or disrespect.
In addition to eagle eyes on DeSantis I now intend to have eagle eyes on both Charlie and Jack.
Good thing I’m retired…
SD as always you are 200% correct. Dessntis has sold out and taken the money. He is a bought and paid for Uniparty Globalist now.
It’s a shame but the sooner we accept Desantis is no longer a MAGA choice the better it will be for all of us.
Desantis is a sell OUT.
Goodbye Ron.
Other than Trump and DeSantis who else do we have that actually accomplished more than talking?
I trust you Sundance.
DeZanitized (pending) has stated he will not run if Trump runs. Keep that clip forefront. The club has to get around that sticky point and if or when DeZ does Trump has the opening to crush him. It’s not personal, it’s buzinesss.
DeSantis said that, but he’s running anyway. You know, “because things change and we need a new tone. I agree with everything President Trump has done, but I’m here to give the people an option, a new choice, a fresh voice.”
And he’ll split enough voters away to take the nomination from President Trump.
That’s the obvious plan, and DeSantis will do this — because that’s what his money backers want him to do.
Heck, DeSantis gets money from the Koch brothers, who have done everything possible to oppose President Trump.
https://www.politico.com/states/florida/story/2018/07/11/desantis-wins-formal-koch-backing-as-momentum-continues-to-shift-504166
DeSantis will do what Koch wants: and that’s keep sending our jobs to China etc. The globalist agenda in full.
Or Florida Ron becomes the GOPes 2024 iteration of 2016s Ted, 2017s AL Judge Roy Moore and 2022s PA Barnette.
Use the candidate to heart and mind poison primary voters so they sit out the general, vote third party or write in a name in protest so Trump loses.
Psywars goal: Create splitters and quitters.
And then he will lose bigly in a national election unless they steal it for him.
That is stark. Can he really take that devil’s path (accepting a presidency he knows he did not win)?
Is he really as fully bad as Biden, or would he try to step back and bide his time?
Our Fourth Turning drama intensifies daily…
I don’t expect DeSantis to plan his life around trump and vice versa.
Who was managing DeDantis when he suspended and replaced the Woke Soros-funded DA?
Polls show DeSantis has no chance against Trump.
Are they smooth talking him while in reality working to destroy his governorship?
The way DeSantis ran Florida in the midst of all the lockdowns has been a thorn in the globalists’ side.
Has DeSantis always been a “Mike Pence” or are they creating one?
Jeb Bush was one of the most conservative governors of Florida.
Florida is where the republican machine makes its new star.
It’s a con game.
The same confidence trick used by cults.
The Raelian UFO cult is my favorite example.
The leader of the Raelians donated his bone marrow to a child who had cancer — so he HAS TO BE A GOOD person, right?
That’s how the cultists will prove to you that Claude Vorilhon is a saintly man worthy of your trust.
Jim Jones did the same kind of thing to get his followers in his church. He risked his life by speaking up for blacks when many whites were getting lynched for speaking up for blacks during segregation. So, he HAD to be a great Christian! It was PROOF! And that led to the Jones Temple mass suicide. These people believed Jones was a good man because he proved it by risking his life for them.
The wolf in sheep’s clothing often does truly good deeds — but for bad motives.
It’s an ancient confidence trick. You do the good deed to get someone’s trust, then stab him.
The same confidence trick is used in politics.
A candidate is allowed to do some great things, and that’s the proof that “he must be good!”
But people rarely look at the people and corporations FUNDING this front man, this trickster, this con.
Those are the people who are manipulating perceptions.
And then . . . it happens over and over . . . the politician suddenly betrays, and people scream, “He betrayed us!” (Pence, Hailey, Roosterhead . . . you know the long, long list.)
No, he didn’t betray anyone. He was never working for you.
Not 100% MAGA and not globalist, think businessmen and catering to the hispanic vote. He is not owned like Pence. Remember they always win cause they always buy both sides. He is not independently wealthy. He may not run in 2024. He has not made that decision.
I like seeing readers of The Treehouse respectfully disagreeing with Sundance and each other on where Gov. Desantis is coming from. No group think here.
I completely agree. This is the only site where I can count on reasoned and complete discourse.
Of course one must always remember this:
There are two types of people.
1) Those who jump to conclusions based upon still insufficient evidence, and…
2)
Sundance is probably right as rain on this, but fails to understand that President Trump is one of a kind. A Washington, Jefferson or Lincoln who only comes about every hundred years or so if you are lucky. DeSantis is probably is about as good as it gets for a politician in modern society. If God grants us the favor of restoring President Trump to us in 2025, we should all get down on our knees to thank him. I doubt the cabal will allow that to happen.
Well Ronna had better get off her butt and find someone that appeals to Trump supporters, because we outnumber the other conservatives.
What does she do all day? Count stacks of cash?
You are either working for The People, to the exclusion of everything else, or you are not…
Don’t worry, I thanked the Lord in 2016, when Trump won. I considered it Divine Intervention.
I think we need to be praying fevently for his help in this last attack on Trump rather than worrying about DeSantis just now.
Anyway, I don’t think DeSantis would be much of a problem for Trump, and I hope DeSantis realizes this.
Holy whiplash, Batman – I don’t think that my neck will ever be the same.
I personally believe that actions speak louder than words so I’m going to let this play out and keep a closer eye on DeSantis for the time being vs. tossing him in the political dumpster.
There’s no need to toss ambitious young career politician, Florida Ron, “in the political dumpster”.
In fact, because Ron’s an ambitious young career politician, as long as he’s a governor his viability depends on pleasing voters.
The savvier those voters are, the more concrete actions he’ll be forced to take in order to keep them pleased.
However, it would be a deadly mistake to replace battle tested genius Trump with 43 year old Ron and expect that Ron would do better in the ” political dumpster fire” of DC and the world.
Does the managing of DeSantis mean they have abandoned Pence?
Of course it does, Pence hasn’t a chance with Trump voters, but because of the excellent management of the DeSantis persona by the Deep Staters he has enough Trump people fooled to make a difference. DeSantis’s toe in the water is about to become a belly flop.
He can’t when the general. PA and MI won’t want him and he’d need a Noem or the IA governor to put WI in play.
Trump won with the votes of lots of Democrats, union workers, and working class Southern whites that never bother to vote. Those groups have no interest in someone who isn’t really MAGA – economic nationalist.
Ronny would have to do a lot better in the suburbs than Trump to guarantee NC and the Omaha district in NE, but the suburban vote won’t help him in the rust belt.
Look at the link above of his funding sources. Koch funding =bought and paid for establishment person.
Yes. They know Pence is damaged goods. Very damaged goods.
Not necessarily. They see DeSantis as a rising political star, as do I.
Sundance, you are like a houndog you get a “scent” and you don’t let go! Bravo!! Very good
Sundance,
If you are correct on DeSantis then Kudos.
If not, will you apologize and say you were wrong?
Who is John Galt? ARE YOU BLIND?
Do we have to vote for it, to see what’s in it, again?
Just like they did to the TEA Party.
Someone get this article to Ron Desantis ASAP.
You may find this interesting. It shows by body language analysis that saying the right things is not always a guarantee that a person is being genuine. In this video Lindsey Graham fails to persuade anyone that he’s outraged by the raid even tho he says he is. (Treepers are well aware of LG’s true stripes.)
Body Language: The Raid, Jesse Watters and Lindsey Graham

Just a few thoughts, what if DeSantis is staying in the background so as to not take the spotlight off TRUMP and make it about himself? You already acknowledged DeSantis would face questions about the raid at any appearance, and we all know any response from DeSantis would make national news. Next question what if TRUMP is unable to run and he endorsed DeSantis, or if he did run and picked DeSantis for VP? I love TRUMP and read CTH everyday, but I think it’s a little early to start a never-DeSantis movement.
If something prevented President Trump from running and then serving his second term, imo he would NOT endorse Ron to complete his MAGA Project.
Instead he’d have his son finish it for him, assisted by the Team President Trumps assembled.
Nothing against Don Jr or Eric, but there is no way they could handle what TUMP has gone through. I don’t think DeSantis will run if TRUMP announces. Nothing will piss of a lot of his supporters in Florida then for him to win a 2nd term and and jump on the campaign trail.
Agreed, except for this:
“…or if he did run and picked DeSantis for VP?”
That can’t happen – they are both residents of the same State – see the 12th amendment.
Trump has properties all over the place.
I will watch how this plays out. Politics like this makes me sick at heart.
I looked up DeSantis campaign financing and see that this year, he is receiving a lot of out of state money donated to his campaign during this year.

Wow. This is a damning post. DeSantis is now evil and are supported by Kari Lake and Blake Masters.
Crazy times.
“DeSantis is now evil”.
Naive labelling.
This is an example of hallucinations triggered by cognitive dissonance ie a defense against uncomfy new thoughts and/or a deceivers use of a strawman logical fallacy.
Genuinely naive or disingenuously trying to prey on naives? Either way, I’m praying for you. 😘
You’re right!
If Karl Rove is reading this he’s thinking, “my work is done! MAGA SCHMAGA! Stick a fork in it. The Trump movement is over! Poor idiots shot themselves in the head!”
I am so disgusted with DeSantis; he is a worm under the foot of Trump. That worm wouldn’t be governor right now if Trump hadn’t endorsed him.
Oh, BTW, for all you Glenn Beck fans, he thinks DeSantis has the “right demeanor”. Takes a worm to know a worm.
DeSantis knew about this raid…he was fully aware…I am so angry at him. He’s done in my book, the little government bureaucrat.
He is still a great Gov for Florida.
Hearing “right demeanor” puppeted by many RINOS lately. The club has their talking points and the sudden nuances are extremely obvious.
Sundance is right, we see you Karl (Rove).
As for Glenn Back? Never trust a NeverTrumper.
I am so glad you have written this to make more aware of what is really happening. I think it is still very hard for people to grasp betrayal because they just don’t want to believe it. It’s good to try to see the best in people, but at the same time we must be discerning.
I’m a Floridian and DeSantis is by far the best Governor we’ve ever had, no one else even close. Jeb never stepped out of line and Ron has rocked the boat with Covid policy state wide along with improving our educational system and speaking out against teaching critical race theory and transgenderism. The GOPe and DNC (uniparty) can’t find a way to stop Trump from running, the GOPe would love a Trump DeSantis rivalry in the primaries to splinter the party. DeSantis can’t be that stupid. There’s 75 million of us and counting. The 2022 and 2024 election will determine where our nation is going. Trump is vital to save the Republic.
If you examine his behavior since the raid, or lack thereof, it is evident that he is jockeying for position as a contender for the Republican nomination and is being guided by the Deep State #2 conspirator Mitch McConnell. His coming appearance with TPUSA which also showed an amazing lack of support for President Trump after the RAID…and then there is Kari Lake, what could she be thinking? She won the primary riding the back of President Trump. I am interested to see which side of her mouth talks at this TPUSA event. The Republican Party is rotten to the core. Shame on each and every one of them.
What is the twitter address?
1355 Market St #900, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States
If Desantis decides to join the GOPe RINOs he will never win the Presidency. Gone will be the inspired leadership he has shown in Fla.
He will become the milquetoast RINO candidate in ’24 or ’28. And Trump will easily handle him.
Not if Trump can’t get on the ballot…the goal is a felony indictment, that’s all it takes.
Any extra rules beyond what’s stated in the Constitution can be challenged. Trump can still run. And with the court being what it is, he’ll win.
Did you know he can still run for President, even if he were in prison? He meets all Constitutional requirements (unlike Obama).
Sundance , please, keep revealing Ron Desantis’ political posturing. Only those ,who are not easily carried away by his political gimmick, understand what you have always penned down about him. When the time comes, those already hoodwinked by the facade shall be directed to what you have early written down about him
Watch the TPUSA rallies and see if they are trying to shove Trump aside. (I’ll be watching too.)
I not going to continue to donate to TPUSA if they stupidly do this.
Per wikipedia:
In 2019, TPUSA’s reported revenues from donors were $28.5 million, and CEO Charlie Kirk’s compensation was $292,423.
Turning Point USA’s revenues have grown from $78,000 in 2013 to $39.8 million in 2020.
I’m quite sure TPUSA’s great rise is because of Trump. So the fact that they are now promoting someone else and all but excluding Trump is troubling. I’d only be OK with it if I knew they had Trump’s blessing and he just doesn’t want to make that info public. But as I’ve said before, I’m done with convoluted logic, trying to think the best of people and being forced to come up with 3D chess explanations. We’ve been burned so many times. Now it’s SHOW ME. So far they are showing me that they are traitors, they used Trump and are now pushing him aside for their own profit.
Isn’t TPUSA pro illegal alien amnesty?
They’ve always been grifters – that’s why the groypers targeted them.
Does DeSantis also have power over The Club?
They do not have any other candidates with his education/experience creds and also his Main Street – Judeo-Christian – MAGA creds. – – – though he voted for TPP.
He’s good on his feet, has had the guts to face down the woke-pedo-sickos, the Disney Corp. and many other PC monsters. He has a gorgeous smart poised media savvy wife.
He seems to be ‘clean’ – no hidden crimes or vices reveales so far. No trips on the Epstein express.
You all may know more than I do….but it seem like at this point – he could name his own terms – run as Trump’s VP – or doesn’t have to run for POTUS, does he?
Do y’all think he’s owned by the RINO-establishment?
Couldn’t enough MAGA donors foot his bill and leave him free to do the right thing for our country?
Just asking questions….
What MAGA creds? He has the same economic policy as Mitt Romney.
Thanks for the voting record. Voting for TPP says it all…He is a RHINO/Fair Trade phony. Remember that was a sticky issue for Cruz and may have been a big part of his downfall.
The Mitch McConnell Storm Door Company has a lot of shareholders who demand that management improve their product so it becomes invincible against the free winds. That new boy DeSantis might be just the executive ticket to make it happen. But then, on the horizon a strange sight, a wildfire seems to be gathering strength. Those damned winds again.
If the DS takes out Trump, DeSantis will be offered as the only way forward.
Let me state it differently:
DeSantis will become the standard bearer if Trump is taken out by the DS.
The DS will take out Trump [McConnell and Obama shook hands on this already]
Therefore, DeSantis will become the standard bearer.
Regardless, whether DeSantis or Trump, McConnell may also have agreed to prevent DeSantis from winning. So it really does not matter. They let you go to the rallies, wear MAGA hats, donate-donate-donate, talk to the neighbors, place signs, shout and scream etc…but you (MAGA) will not rule even if 70% of the population voted for you. The election fraud will be repeated.
I think DeSantis has become the GOPE candidate, unfortunately. McConnell probably backs him. McConnell wants Trump out.
Ron =/= Trumps “standard bearer”.
Trumps son == Trumps “standard bearer” if anything happens to his dad.
Tough luck, GOPe schemers.
Nobody the GOP will run can win the Whitehouse because the rust belt wants MAGA economics and the GOP is uniparty Koch economics.
What worries me is the extreme the DS will go to to eliminate Trump….Many like Bannon have mentioned the A word. He believes the DS is that desperate.
