The people who are going to vote for him this November would not be very pleased to have him turn around and start campaigning for President and therefore spend two years absent from the State of Florida. He can use those 4 years to further show the nation what he is capable of doing after Trump leaves office in 2028.
The mood of the country can shift unexpectedly. However, the current, prevailing mood will not shift. The Dems have laid an egg, and the time to ride to power is now.

The Nation desperately needs a twelve-year Republican run in power. My belief is that DeSantis would be key to making that possible by beginning to clear out some of those vipers nests from where their baked- up scandals derive.

I am wondering why Soros prosecutors, who take office and then publicly state they will not perform the tasks assigned to them by the office (but keep the paycheck) are not sued. It occurs to me that the immunity that shields prosecutors from personal liability must yield where the occupant is refusing to perform his/her job. How then are they not liable to the victims they cause?

I am not personally knowledgeable about the court order you reference, but it occurs to me that there is more than one way to skin a cat. If the court is blocking the Governor from investigating election irregularities because the court feels that such is an Executive usurpation of law enforcement, the State government can do it on the basis of their general duties to oversee elections, rather than characterizing it as a crime issue and implicating prosecutors.
Similarly, if a Soros prosecutor gets elected and then announces an intention to ignore his job duties, this becomes a matter of malfeasance rather than a difference of opinion about enforcement. Non-enforcement is not acceptable in law enforcement and is not covered by an officeholder’s discretion. I think it is also a matter of getting paid from the public treasury and dereliction of duty. I am not persuaded that Gov. Abbott is stymied unless he chooses to be. Keep in mind that many people are elected because they promise to maintain a status quo that has been cultivated and yields benefits to the people influential enough to have generated that status quo. True reform always breaks somebody’s rice bowl.

I would like to know WHEN this Warren clown is actually being suspended. I just read an article (out of Tampa) from our local FOX news that indicates Warren is still on the job.
In the article Warren states, “I haven’t even looked at the order yet because I woke up to do my job today, and that’s exactly what I did,” Warren said. So, when does he get locked out of the office?
Usually when seeing somebody get suspended from a job…it happens immediately. I hope he does not get to stay on the job due to an ‘appeal’ as he considers DeSantis’s order unconstitutional.

DeSantis’ action here was widely publicized and had the smell of being staged. The smell is similar to that of Glenn Youngkin, former CEO of Carlyle Group, hardly a MAGA-interested organization.
I hardly have a problem with DeSantis embarrassing all republican governors holding the power to take similar action (eg, Kemp in GA) but I’d note the intended consequence here may well be to split voters into Trump and DeSantis camps.
IMO, DeSantis is owned by the establishment that I still hope Trump will destroy. All you need to know about DeSantis is that he signed a law enabling the state of FL to force vaccinate its citizens. This is an amoral and illegitimate claim of power that no MAGA executive would ever sign.
