If I had to live in a bluer state to the north, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana or especially Illinois or NY, I couldn’t handle it. ( I originate from Missouri and moved away years ago for that reason. Missouri has become redder as time goes on, but I can’t return as they tax all retirement income at the same rate as income. AL does not.)
When you think about it there is no legitimate reason for our Federal Government to be noticed by us day to day. We should never know it is there. The expansion of Federal Law, especially Federal Criminal Law, is totally out of bounds of the Constitution.
We could easily live without 90% of what they do.
I hope when we get new people this fall the People let them know how much we do not need.
