Hopefully the most radical leftists will now self-isolate and stop migrating to regions where traditional American values are being retained. This would be a natural outcome if the actions of the left-wing democrats were to match their rhetoric. Unfortunately, I fear the abortion issue is not as big a political issue as the megaphones in media would like to believe. Recent polling has shown very little political benefit in/around the issue of abortion.
It would be a good outcome if overturning Roe resulted in democrats stopping their migration away from their own left-wing policy madness; however, I’m not sure the abortion issue will overcome their desire to live outside of their insanity. College educated and employed women in urban centers will simply get on a plane and head off to get their abortion in a state like California, in the same manner that a certain demographic took up residence in Reno or Las Vegas in days of yore to get a “quickie” divorce.
In contrast, without financial aid, some minority women at the bottom of the income scale will find it much harder to travel for an abortion, in exactly the same manner that they found it very, very difficult to head out to Nevada for a divorce. Here the impact will be very uneven depending upon location– easy in St. Louis (just cross the river, where a thriving abortion business will undoubtedly spring up in East St. Louis), for example, but challenging in Dallas or Houston.
It will be interesting to see how this impacts Planned Parenthood, not only in terms of revenue but also in terms of clinic location.

SCOTUS did not invalidate a single pro-abortion statute (in contrast to Roe which invalidated nearly every pro-life statute) but restored to pro-life voters the same ability always held by pro-abortion voters: to participate in democracy. This enrages the authoritarian left.

Roe has been such a political pot of gold for both parties that I think it’s incredibly hard to say whats going to transpire towards the election with this.
If they are serious about the subject I think they will start pushing federalization of it in the house now as they have a good chance of passing it through the current Senate.

Only the equal treatment under the law clause would apply if you believe (as God does) that life begins at conception. At which point the Federal government could ‘restrict’ abortion nationwide. In fact, the Bible states that God knew us before we were even formed in the womb.
