In 2006 we originally faced 20 DeceptiCons in the Senate. They represent the right wing of the DC Congressional UniParty. Having removed a few, and some of them died (McCain, Cochran) there are still 16 of them in office. They are led by Mitch McConnell.
This is the same crew who vehemently opposed the nomination of Donald Trump for office. These are the same republican senators who aligned against the Tea Party and later against the MAGA movement represented by our efforts to put Donald Trump into office. These are the DeceptiCons we have been discussing for 16 years. However, these are also a very sneaky bunch – notice how McConnell’s #2, John Thune, was permitted to avoid the DeceptiCon sunlight.
Today the DeceptiCons [Blunt (MO), Burr (NC), Capito (WV), Cassidy (LA), Collins (ME), Cornyn (TX), Ernst (IA), Graham (SC), McConnell (KY), Murkowski (AK), Portman (OH), Romney (UT), Tillis (NC), Toomey (PA) and Young (IN)] voted to shut down debate on the democrat senate firearm restriction and confiscation bill. The vote to invoke cloture shuts down debate and ends the opportunity for a filibuster. Invoking cloture, ie voting to support cloture, is a vote in support of the bill.
WASHINGTON DC – […] Ahead of the vote, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said the Senate could pass the final bill as soon as Thursday with GOP cooperation. However, if any one of the 100 senators objects, final passage could occur as late as Friday night, briefly delaying the chamber’s planned two-week recess.
“We are not going to leave until we pass this bill,” Schumer said. “This is not a cure-all for all the ways gun violence affects our nation, but it is a long overdue step in the right direction. It’s significant, it’s going to save lives, and it’s my intention to get it done as soon as we can.”
The gun safety legislation amounts to Congress’ most significant response to mass shootings in nearly 30 years. The package, negotiated by Sens. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), comes about one month after a gunman killed 19 children and two teachers in Uvalde, Texas.
Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) said Thursday the timing on final passage depended on whether the chamber would vote on amendments to the package. Republicans can drag the bill out if they don’t get the votes they are requesting because any quick action requires unanimous consent.
“As of right now there’s a very serious interest in at least some small amount” of amendments, Thune said. Cornyn agreed that his “bias is in favor of amendments.” (read more)
Mitch McConnell is the Machiavellian manipulator of the senate. Notice how McConnell provides cover for John Thune who did not vote to support cloture?
Do not be fooled. McConnell is grooming Thune to replace him and maintain the Wall Street/Donor system.
Senator John Thune is the DeceptiCon insurance policy to maintain power in the upper chamber after the 2022 mid-terms.
Nothing will ever get fixed without real campaign fiance reform.
Only citizens who can vote for the candidate can give money.
No outside money or groups.
I know the courts would strike that down and it is a dream
Like term limits, campaign finance reform will go nowhere with these bums running Congress. And by bums I mean both parties.
Mitch McConnell’s push for Republican Senators to vote for Gun Control will be the final straw. Just like he gave away the Debt Ceiling and got NOTHING in return, or handed the Dems a great sound bite and victory with the Infrastructure Bill, which is actually all about the Green New Deal, he is now forcing approval of the FIRST STEP IN TAKING AWAY YOUR GUNS! Republican Senators SHOULD NOT VOTE FOR THIS CAREER ENDING BILL!!!

Clarification: McConnell’s CONSTITUENTS got nothing in return, Mitch and his grifting cronies got plenty in return!
Better still, no money at all. Only unpaid volunteers going from door to door with the main information and some townhall meetings.
I don’t think I have ever encountered an unpaid volunteer over the age of ten. Not sure such animals exist. Otherwise, I agree with the specifics of your fantasy.
Deleted by me
The Tea Party groups were FULL of them! My groups did all kinds of unpaid work (door-to-doors, calls to many, many homes, distributing flyers, etc.) for most of 2010 for George Phillips who was challenging Maurice Hinchey my commie Rep. All to no avail. We never called D’s; only R’s and I’s. Some R’s were interested but too many loved Hinchey because he schmoozed them and got them goodies.
A lot of voters are addicted to the goodies corrupt old commie fossils get them. Our system is still corrupt from the “top” down to a lot of the voters. I bet there are plenty of moneyed Texans who just love Cornyn (probably get drunk with him). By the way, he despised the Tea Party!
Both wings of the UniParty foul (intentionally misspelled) despised the Tea Party. As the UniParty now despises any MAGA, America First or Patriots.
With eyes being opened from the general population, I am fairly certain that the feelings are mutual.
50 soros plants
What we need is a vetted constitutional party that only supports state level campaigns. Constitutional principles over politics and BS morality / social constructs.
Or, more likely, because I have zero faith in the so called Right’s ability to find principles… States refusing to comply with federalism. Which oddly enough is already starting with the blue states because they actually have a bigger pair when it comes to their own principles. See NYs reply to the SCOTUS today on 2nd amendment.
Either of those gain grounds and we’ll be headed into a good direction for a solid breakup that needs to happen. It will be a messy, painful, costly and expensive divorce but it’s necessary for us to digress as a society to move forward.
II so agree. If we don’t get together as red states and say “no more,” the other states are going to drag us into totalitarianism.
The sec’y of education for Oklahoma and the AG for Missouri are two state leaders I’ve heard talking just this week about this very issue, how red states need to get together and stop taking the strings-attached money from the feds. In OK, they’re going over the education budget, line-by-line, seeing where each dollar goes and figuring how they can pay for it themselves and if not, do away with it.
Then Schmitt, in MO, is all over the place this week talking about how he’s led the red states in several lawsuits– the latest being against CRT– Springfield PS denies it and wants to charge him big money to even provide him with their teacher training materials and students’ curricula yet claim they’re not teaching CRT, while parents are sending him all kinds of proof that they are.
The OK guy says it’s time for all the red states to say “If you’re going to say ‘no federal lunch money unless you agree to SUSPEND students for “misgendering” kids withe the ‘wrong pronouns,’ then we’re going to band together and start doing all this on our own.”
Sounds good to me.
I’m a Texan who now lives in OK, and I gotta say, right now I’d rather be here than back home in Texas. And that breaks my heart.
I keep mentioning the CoS – Convention of States. as the only way forward. Let’s get it done. There are already 22 States signed on. We need 36.
Not only NO, but HELL NO………….to a Convention of States! NO! NO! NO!
Absolutely not! Go study how that works, not in our favor.
He looks like he could do with a good meal and a bowie knife up his rear!
Weird… but ok…
Sounds strange enough that it might make one at risk for monkeypox (they tried to hide it, but we remember the stories –and how it first spread among those who attended a “fetish fest” in Europe.)” That sounds just like the kind of “hey, it’s just equality” lifestyle they’ll be wanting to teach our elementary school kids any day now.
You one bad son bitch
Or a good worming.
Ivermectin!
Good analysis…wherever there is a camera…look for Thune and Cornyn…
Thune is Cornyn’s a-h*** buddy ever since they came into office in ’94.
Both corrupt total sleazebags…

Strangely, They never hide their motives, objectives, strategies, or tactics.

CFRmedia.com – ( a short eye opening read )
And here I thought the only shadow gov was the one based in BO’s alt.WH down the street from the real one. (Barry always was an alt. kinda guy…but we can’t say he didn’t warn us…”We’re only 3 days away from fundamentally transforming…”)
That SOB…I — like most of you, I know— I was so frustrated, trying to tell all his fanboys and having to watch them condescend by rolling their eyes at me ‘cos I wasn’t falling at his feet in sheer ecstasy.
(I remember one, “But isn’t is exciting, just having the first…” and saying– for the thousandth time “But it’s about WHO that person is!” ‘cos I was so sick of the stupidity (and racism, come to think of it) of one black’s as good as another— issues, policies, background, what he stands for– doesn’t matter at all.)
The mistake here is pretending it’s just this group…
It’s the whole party but the fan club can’t come to terms with that truth. It breaks too much of their religion.
Against all evidence, history and reality the status quo must be maintained. You MUST keep pretending every two years you can out elect this.
It’s the same infantile mentality we see with many sports fans. No matter how poorly the team performs no matter what crimes team members are charged with, the fans venomously defend them–sometimes to the point of violence. The same is true of political parties for many. That’s why so many RINOs are endlessly re-elected, and anti-gun Dems are re-elected by gun owning Dem voters. One serious gun collector of my acquaintance was at a gun show in 2015 with a Bernie Sanders for Prez tee-shirt. When someone pointed out to him that Sanders wanted to ban and confiscate many of the same guns on his table, his limpwristed response was “We’ll talk to him after he’s elected. He’ll come around…”.
You are so right. I believe the term is “tribalism”. However your “tribe” is identified or defined, they are always better than any other tribe of that category, and must be defended beyond reason.
Isn’t that the truth?
Either Lenin or Marx, (my forgetter is better than my rememberer 🤔😥) that religion was the opiate of the masses. So they substituted sports, woke CRT etc. for religion and/or politics.
Pretty sure it was Marx. You are SO right, though…
Aaaannnnnnnd here it is…
“Cheney urging Wyoming Democrats to switch parties to vote for her in primary”
https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/3534910-cheney-urging-wyoming-democrats-to-switch-parties-to-vote-for-her-in-primary/
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) is looking to recruit registered Democrats to switch their party affiliation in order to vote for her in Wyoming’s Aug. 16 primary.
Her campaign website offers instructions for how voters can change their party affiliation in order to vote in the Republican primary and even directs them to a Wyoming voter registration change form. The New York Times also reported on Thursday that Cheney’s campaign has been sending out mailers to Wyoming Democratic voters with information about voting in the Republican primary.
Lots to unpack here… but probably not worth the time, though… so we’ll just leave it packed…
Liz will win her reelection, I’ve been saying that for over a year now.
Who’s counting?
It would be a lot easier if she would just switch parties. Why pretend.
Because the idea is to infiltrate our party.
Every Republican in Wyoming needs to vote her out. There cannot be enough dems in Wyoming to keep her in office.
“ F*** You. We control the voting machines. “
~ Uniparty
Sad but true. As Truman’s uncle Joe once pithily pointed out (paraphrasing) “Those who cast the ballots decide nothing. Those who count the ballots decide EVERYTHING”, as we saw in 2020…
You mean FDR’s uncle Joe?
Yes, Biden Is Hiding His Plan To Rig The 2022 Midterm Elections
The White House is refusing to share details about its coordinated efforts to engage in a federal takeover of election administration.
https://thefederalist.com/2022/06/23/yes-biden-is-hiding-his-plan-to-rig-the-2022-midterm-elections/
I would suggest their January 6th false flag is merely a stage play of their most feared nightmare, but one they rigged themselves winning to discourage an actual ‘insurrection’. The Republicans who want to take guns away from citizens are the ones who fear a Bastille Day in the US, so they are looking to weed out any potential leaders of such a scenario with their ‘red flag’ laws.
The list needs a scratch through on each of the ones already on their way out, who are giving us the major middle finger as they exit to their next life of comfy lobbyists.
That way we also see the targets more clearly. 😉
Heck, I can’t even remember 1/2 of the Senate Rhinos; they only talk when re-election is looming, even when in deep-red states without any serious challengers: Daines, Risch, Barrasso, Capito, Rounds, Wicker, Lummis, Haggerty, Lankford, Inhofe, Cramer, Hoeven, Fischer, Hyde-Smith, Marshall, Moran, and Abdulrahman (Just kidding, the last one was fake…just to see you fellow Treepers are paying attention!) I am convinced that any pudgy 59 year-old man could dress up in a blue blazer and sport a perfectly combed haircut and walk onto the well of the Senate chamber and nobody in our caucus would bat an eye. They are all cowards.
Thank you for mentioning Daines.
I don’t think he is a leftist, but he seems to be a go-along-to-get-along type.
That type can betray the Constitution just as quick as a die hard leftist.
He’s a heck of a lot more tenable than the other guy.
We find ourselves in the shoes of the Sons of Liberty in 1774, no representation and besmirched at every turn by lying Whigs and Tories. The time of the Patriot Party approaches, but we have no Washington or Adams and most of those that proclaim to be Patriots are gutless and spineless. Good men stand idly by, while evil prospers… the worst fears of the Founders are upon us.
We gutless and spineless patriots are right behind you waiting to back you up when you DO SOMETHING about all this…
You misunderstand and should read a bit about the Sons of Liberty. I am no leader, but I would recognize one. The purported Patriots of which I refer to are our elected representatives, specifically the R’s that constantly harangue us with their patriotism…usually while fund raising for re-election. I am merely a peaceful, yet indignant citizen that toes the line, immunocompromised, unvaccinated, unquarantined and free.
We need to remember that our Sons of Liberty were fighting their own King and Country and did not depend on anyone in the British Parliament to help save them.
We need to understand their thinking.
We also can not depend on any one in our government to help us.
Like the Sons of Liberty who did not depend on the elected or inherited MOP to help save them we can rely of very few or none of our members of Congress to come to our aid.
Our government is not our friend and these people in Congress, even the very very few who are wonderful, can and will not help us.
Our elected official in Congress are to We The People what the British Government was to our Fore Fathers and Mothers, the enemy.
He is right. Maybe he hasn’t rose to the occasion but neither have you or me. Most people want someone to follow. A true leader of men. President Trump is great but we need a George Washington to light the way. He was the definition of greatness. There is a quote I have heard many times before and it says it’s from John Stuart Mill
“A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself”
I believe our people have been beaten down psychologically and it will take a once in a century leader to wake us up. Trump was close but not the man. He has shown how badly our people yearn for someone to lead them.
People are not yet ready to be led, too many still believe in the political processes of exceptionalisum. Either they will some how magically out vote this or White knight’isum is still the preferred fairytale. They still have choices and full refrigerators, you can be lofty with your morals and expectations while ignoring your own principles nagging in the back of your brain.
And if you can’t…
Anyone who stands up and remotely looks like they COULD become a position of leadership is pounced upon by the state and destroyed as an individual.
People think the three letter agencies just started this kinda stuff, some of us learned these things the hard way decades ago.
This is not a great way to energize the base for the 2022 mid-terms. But Rush use to say the Republican elites were happy being in the minority where they could rake in the money and not have much scrutiny and criticism.
I am donating to Cheney’s opponent and Murkowski’s opponent. I am donating to Bee and Abrams in Georgia and to Lee in Utah who got a shive in the back from Romney.

Started returning all of the GOP fundraising trash they mail every other day. I use a black felt pen and write in bold letters ” Remove from mailing list you’ll never see a dime from me scammers”, then return in their prepaid envelopes
Reagan hating lefty Blunt was a progressive “D” when he was in the house. Still hate Ronny as this vote shows! Leftist Blunt is the definition of RINO.
Roy Blunt has not represented conservative Missourians for years. He and his family are grifters.
I want Schmitt in there so bad. He’s a firebrand who both walks and talks pure MAGA. He and Hawley would finally represent MO in a way that would make ’em proud. I’m just afraid that, since everybody votes on name recognition, and AG’s, even fighting bulldog AG’s, don’t get the same name recognition as some others, that it’ll be a problem. Would esp hate to see “Vicky!” (what all the signs say” move right up to Senate after two years in the House, in which time I don’t know of one things she’s done.
On one hand, I think “What can a junior House member do,” but then I listen to Lauren Boebert…
And I’m one of those who disagree about Trump not being the “one in a century leader” the country needs. I think that’s exactly what he is, and that people who don’t think so have forgotten what he accomplished and what life was like when we were talking about adding to Mt. Rushmore. Take a look again at one of those lists of accomplishments, because what made the news (credible news or what some call “conservative news”) doesn’t even begin to cover it.
I stay pretty well-informed, but when I look at a comprehensive list, I’m floored. And then to think of the next term with all the wisdom accumulated since that time…this is a leader for the ages, but it’s become somewhat trendy to separate ourselves from him and talk about how we’re “waiting” for a “leader.”
s
Sold out to CCP. Hopefully GITMO bound! 🙁
These RINO’s are incorrigible and will have to be “primaried out” of the Senate but I’m also not sure about the contents of the Bill.
I heard a mention in the news yesterday that the Red Flag laws would include “due process” provisions in order to pass and according to several news outlets:
“The final days of negotiations over the bill centered around this provision, as Republicans expressed concern that red-flag laws violate the due process rights of those accused of being a threat. The bill addressed those concerns by requiring the accused to have the right to an in-person hearing, the right to know opposing evidence, and the right to be represented by counsel at no expense to the government, according to the legislative text.”
Whether this comment, if it’s true, will tone down the opposition at all is uncertain. Where will the “in-person” hearings be held. In a DNC HQ? Co-operating with the Democrat loons is never wise.
According to the Texas Tribune (Democrat bias or not?) :
“Red flag laws are nonetheless popular with Texas voters. A poll released Tuesday found that 75% of the state’s voters support laws that “give family members or law enforcement a way to ask a judge to issue an order temporarily removing guns from someone who poses a violent threat to themselves or others.” The survey was conducted by Third Way, a centrist think tank, and GS Strategy Group, a GOP polling firm. (RINO supported groups?)
I have a very conservative friend who unfortunately lives with some serious personality disorders. He has been promising to get a gun and either go settle some old scores or just shoot him self. If a red flag law was ever needed, it’s with him. He lives alone and could afford and house any guns he wanted.
He might feel the same about you . what happens if he calls you in first ?
I actually feel safer if there are citizens with concealed weapons traveling amongst us. An honest person with a weapon can save lives.
But, like you, I know people with anger and emotional problems who should possibly not have fire arms easily available to them. I would not red flag them though. If someone is truly unstable or suicidal there are other means of destruction also easily available.
I don’t believe anything from the leftist Texas media ie Dallas Morning News, Austin Statesman or Houston Chronicle. Or the Texas Tribune.
Especially where a poll is conducted imposing gun restrictions on the people. They are encouraging anti gun support through a fake poll.
Total BS.
Seems logical and reasonable to me. That’s what I suspected.
Some of these ‘polls’ reported by these outlets are misleading lies.
The Red Flag law favored by the deep state involves infringement of 2A rights of law-abiding Americans.
A good guy with a gun can neutralize a bad guy with a gun.
The armed LEOs at Uvalde stood down when they ought to have quickly ended the threat.
This is a bullshit poll
The problem with that is it’s a view based on an implied assumption that due process will apply.
Ye how was the question asked and quantified? I bet there was no mention of being arrested without a charge or evidence.
As Sen Paul points out, once a judge rules that someone is a danger in the ONE sided hearing, it is far LESS likely in the SECOND hearing, where the rights-deprived individual is ALLOWED to hire his own lawyer, that the judge will OVERRULE that ruling
Good point.
Well, if January 6th has shown us that they do not stipulate that any court action be “speedy”. Sure, you get an in-person hearing made up of a group of gun-hating lefties but when? Oh, and lucky you. The government that wrote this law is also the government who will have someone “represent” you paid for by the same government. Any lawyer who skillfully defends you will be “Kavanaugh-ed” and probably disbarred.
“Jan 6th Injustice” according to the corrupt Dems’ DOJ is a cautionary tale that should never be forgiven or forgotten.
I also doubted that the actual procedures related to the Red Flag laws in this Bill that Cornyn alleges or believes will be fair and effective will never be either fair or effective esp in Democrat areas. Either he’s duped and deluded or he’s just brazenly betraying his voters.
Take the brazenly betraying his voters. He’s been a card carrying member of the UniParty, in exceptionally GOOD standing for to many years.
We didn’t even have an alternate candidate in the primary to vote for in place of Todd Young in Indiana and the Democrat is predictably atrocious with no shot at winning.
Last election the Pro-Life end all Covid lockdowns and mandates immediately and pro-Constitutional Carry Libertarian for Governor took almost 25% in the general (the squish RINO still won with just over 50%).
I’m having to really question if I shouldn’t pull the lever for the pro-2nd Amendment, defund practically everything in the Federal government Libertarian this fall. I doubt it’d affect the outcome (Young’s gonna run away with it), but maybe enough people will think the same way and put the fear of the electorate back into the treasonous reprobate.
I can’t vote for those who want to destroy me, and this nation, regardless of party affiliation.
So I’ve been writing in names instead, for years.
It won’t change things, but it keeps my conscience clear.
“The unprecedented fury of the non-stop attacks on President Trump, his family, his administration, and his supporters — not only by the “liberal” media and “progressive” Democrats, but also by neoconservatives, “moderate” Republicans, and a host of high-level government officials (some retired and some still serving) — has awakened millions of Americans to the fact that there is a hostile power operating not only within the highest levels of our government but within the top levels of institutional power throughout our society. If you are among the newly awakened, it is crucial that you understand that this hostile power — this “power elite,” as leftist professor C. Wright Mills and conservative columnist Edith Kermit Roosevelt referred to it — is not a recent phenomenon. The CFR Deep State, as noted above, has been building and concentrating its power for a century, patiently penetrating and corrupting all of our foundational institutions.”

This is the real Mitch.
Still cowering behind a mask, after all this time. His only protection from the MAGA Deplorables, until he thinks he can pass more ridiculous and unconstitutional gun restrictions. Gun restrictions for thee but not for he. And definitely not for the mounting numbers of criminal foreign invaders that he and everyone else in The Swamp allows into our country every single day.
Amnesty will be next.
Mitch with his bitch 🙂
You know something…..the mob does not care about these people (pic above). But I digress I feel it caring less about politicians from the left every day as well. They used to protect them but the shield wears thin.
I think McConnell selected the perfect man. What about you?
John Thune
John Randolph Thune (/ˈθuːn/ THOON; born January 7, 1961) is an American politician and businessman serving as the senior United States senator from South Dakota, a seat to which he was first elected in 2004. A member of the Republican Party, he serves as Senate minority whip.
***************************
Thousands of people who don’t live in South Dakota have become state residents, registered to vote and cast ballots in elections, which some lawmakers and election officials fear could unfairly alter elections.
State election officials say they are aware that people are claiming on voter registration forms to live at an address where they do not, but a lack of enforcement of state laws allows it to continue, South Dakota News Watch has found.

Replace * with :
A large number of full-time RVers who travel throughout the year use SD for a permanent residence address. The other usual choice is TX.
These registrations are not for any nefarious purpose. When you live “on the road”year ’round as I once did, you need a resident address in order to vote.
And from what I heard, most do not vote on local or even state issues. It is only because they must have a permanent address in order to vote for president that they do it.
Kristi Noem will be right up there kissing his ass.
A choice between evil and stupid is not a real choice. Personally, I am done with the Repulsivecan Party.
The traitors are now so brazen they openly parade around thinking they’re immune from the consequences of their actions. Got news for all of them. The constituents who voted for you based on your false promises, including your complete disregard to uphold the Constitution, are waiting to administer some unintentional consequences.
Why are we the only people who are aware of these thieves? They don’t even encounter a speed bump on their effort to defy us. Remember, these are supposedly our team players. We used to ask Where’s the Outrage? Now I ask why bother?
Hey everybody just this month June 2022 in Ohio a law came into effect that if you are legally able to possess a gun you can now carry it concealed without any need for a license or permit. You can literally walk around with a gun just like the 2nd Amendment affirms you can.
Well as soon as the law went into affect everybody here in Ohio got shot. We all killed each other. Billions and billions shot dead! Don’t come to Ohio or you may get shot. All roads leading in have a type of toll booth set up. If you are from out of state you pull up and get shot in the face.
Yep everybody here in Ohio is now dead. Murdered from guns. McDonald’s even has to change their sign to billions and billions shot.
These people have sold us out [again]. They simply do not care what happens to us.
How can they look in the mirror and call themselves Americans?
They don’t think of themselves as Americans.
They embrace Globalism.
They really should think of themselves as Chinese.
Think Val is correct, Globalists, firm adherents of neofeudalism.
Remember that there are two classes, ie the haves and the have nots.
Unfortunately since the Renaissance another class appeared, the middle class. Which was kept under certain control.
Since America broke off the European model of Nobility that pesky middle-class has gotten way to uppity.
I think you will all appreciate this article. You may even see some interesting places where it could be applied.
Thousands of South Dakota voters don’t live where they register
Bart Pfankuch, SD News Watch
Americas Mailbox is a mail-forwarding and vehicle registration business in Box Elder, and is one of several South Dakota businesses that provide quick residency to clients. Many of those clients then go on to register to vote at the business address even though they don’t live there.
In Pennington County, about 6,300 voters are registered to a single rural address where it is clear no one resides; about 1,400 people are similarly registered to vote from a business address in Hanson County.

I much prefer that to mail-in ballots.
Remember how much the ballot traffickers were getting in Georgia $40, I believe. So how much could 6,300 votes bring in, $252,000. I could get buy on this.
With all due respect sir, a lot of these people are “FullTimers”. They live in their campers traveling around North America. They have to have a “Domicile” state. I am aware of three, South Dakota, Texas and Florida.
There aren’t enough of them to swing the vote. I cannot WAIT for the primary. Lizzie is going DOWN!
I can not tell you how happy I was to see this article! Almost every time I see a photo of Thune he is hiding behind Mitch, usually with his head down or face away from the camera. He did not seem to be asked any hard questions before the primary. Trying to find info on him is near impossible, and I would not be surprised if much has been scrubbed from the net. (They did that with Sanders for sure.) Many South Dakotans have no idea of his stance on issue until we see a vote, which we have to go online to find. June 7th primary, Thune got 72% of the 3 candidates. Not happy about him.
Bear with me, so to speak:
Texas scientist John Spor rescued from Ukraine – CBS DFW (cbsnews.com)
“MARIUPOL, Ukraine (CBSDFW.COM) – A nuclear scientist from Texas, who’s credited with designing sensitive technology found in dozens of laser-guided weapons systems used by the U.S. military, was rescued from war-torn Ukraine.
Members of the non-profit rescue organization, Project DYNAMO extracted John Spor from Russian-occupied territory deep in the country.
Spor, was living in Mariupol, Ukraine, when the city was attacked and occupied by invading Russian forces in February. Following the siege and unrelenting brutal artillery and missile attacks, he fled his home and went into hiding.
Chechen-Russian forces ransacked his home and hunted Spor for months, according to a spokesman for the organization. A news release explained that “due to the sensitive U.S. national security interests of his work, Spor is considered a high value target to Russian forces and intelligence services.”……
“Project DYNAMO successfully exfiltrated American nuclear scientist, John Spor, from Ukraine on June 22″…….
Translation: Not only were we building illegal Bio-Weapon Viruses in Ukraine for the next Plandemic, we were also building off-the-books Illegal Nukes over there, too. Putin was right.
Ukraine is the Deep State’s criminal Disneyland and the park never closes.
This Deep State Occupation Government wants Gun Control for Americans but no Gun Control for Ukraine.
Not even Nuke Control.
Think about that.
Rest in the Vine: The Valley of the Gun
I want these guys (and the girl) to rescue all the Jan 6 hostages.
The way I see it, this gun control legislation is the biggest loss of our freedom so far. This is a big one. If we say or post anything that is not acceptable they can now , by legislation, come for your guns.
F all. And the ass they rode in on.
Effin Toomey…Scumbag won’t show his face in his own district.
Has anyone read the 80-page law to see what might be hiding in it?
Today, in reading an update from Andrei, The Saker, I thought one line was interesting on a view from outside mainstream America about the satanism, gender identity, and transgender ideology, “When I see this collective woke insanity, I cannot help but wonder whether corporate “America” is not deliberately trying to really piss off the vast majority of US Americans and trigger some kind of major and violent internal crisis.”
It’s not just the woke agenda. It is the unconstitutional executive orders and laws being passed, the two-tier justice system, the censorship of conservative values, the open borders to replace Americans, crime in cities, violent protestors not held accountable, the spending and more spending and more spending on ideological goals that do not improve life for Americans and in fact are harmful to them.
If I am not mistaken, the following link is detailing that bill for anyone interested in reading it.
I just got their home page, no bill.
Might need a Scribd account to download it from their site.
I like the Saker, he’s a good writer and always about interesting subjects.
He probably isn’t wrong about what they’re doing all of this for, but I think it’s one half of the reason. The other half is all of this would happen anyway; fast, like now or slow like they used to be leading up to the 2000’s. They’re absolutely fine with either getting what they want, or having a bogeyman they can use to clamp down even faster. They think it’s a win/win.
Silver lining/glass half full thought here. As evident by recent (today) SCOTUS 2A rulings (and i think others), we seem to have a good 6-3/5-4 majority when it comes to 2A. So, maybe the idea is to get this law out there, someone get red flagged, hope for fast track to SCOTUS, and them take it out? Maybe. Before we lose 1-2 and court gets super lefty. Of course Roe v Wade redux may get the court packing talk ramped up again.
“There are no sides.”
“There’s no Sunnis and Shiites.”
“There’s no Democrats and Republicans.”
“Just haves and have nots.”
—Six Term Senator Charles Meachum
It is all a “Big Show” and there is no Deep State but just “The State.“
a bunch of GOP swarms,
if Putin nuked DC tomorrow, I’d breathe a sigh of relief…
Is there a nuke big enough to take out everything from Meade to Langley? How many would it take to eliminate Silicon Valley? The Hydra has many heads.
I would ask President Putin to nuke Ottawa Ontario while he is at it. I would be forever grateful. God Bless Putin.
I want to know when is the time for a different party. I’m tired of hearing a third party will automatically lose. In the meantime, we keep holding our noses and voting for these criminals. So “winning” with these backstabbers is better than a 3rd party? I’d rather not vote. I’m sick of all the talk of the red wave in Nov. it encourages these GOP losers to give their constituents the middle finger
FJT and his tiny balls
So 3 or 4 of these idiot-whores are retiring and off to other looting operations. The rest of them are likely in their last terms whether they want to be or not and they know it. Why not go down with a great big screw-you to the voters they have always hated? They absolutely hate you and they hate having to pander to your sorry butts every six years. Get stuffed they say.
I am a bit surprised at Murkowski though. She either knows she’s done or she knows the fix is in and is solid (AK elections are notoriously crooked).
I have never bought into this “big red wave” crap the media parrots keep saying. It’s a load of manure. If the republicans take the House, it’ll be by a small margin that basically means very little since half of them are Rino-Democrats anyway. The Senate will not flip to the republicans. Just look at the map and look at the seats the republicans have to defend. Many of those states had massive issues with vote fraud in 2020 and have done nothing to correct any of it (think Wisconsin). Ron Johnson is toast. He was a fool for not retiring. Just go through the list of senate seats in-play in 2022 and tell me how the republicans win the senate?
Lastly, the GOP stands for nothing. They lie openly, pander, deceive, manipulate, and back-stab. That’s just in the morning. The rest of each day is spent getting rich and getting their inner circles rich. The ONLY reason the republicans may take the House is because the democrats wreck and ruin everything they touch.
The GOP not only stands for nothing, they hate the people who vote for them..how can this party continue to exist? I don’t see it.
As someone once said of Communism, you vote your way in but must shoot your way out.
Republicans, AS EXPECTED, are trying to make sure the prisoners can’t revolt.
Cheney courting Dem crossover voters. Set the stage for primary elecrion fraud.
Oh yeah, just saw this… post The Shill article above…
Notice the EAR to the right of good Ol’ Mitch. I’ll bet good money It belongs to my senator, Dr. John. Mitch hardly ever shows up without Thune or Barrasso within a short arms reach.
It appears Barrasso was also allowed to vote against the bill. He claims he is against “Federal” red flag laws – a decepticon way to say he would be fine with federal funding of State red flags laws.
I can’t stand to look at Romney’s face at this point. Globalist Sellout… Fake Conservative… Traitor. Yes, he’s a Traitor to the American Citizenry on many levels…
… and you know what we do with Traitors, don’t you?
That’s right… we re-elect them.
I want an amendment on the bill repealing the NFA ’34 and GCA ’68.
They are now out of the Republican closet. Fire them all.
Schumer…”it’s a step in the right direction”. Step by step, always making progress.. Over time, all those steps add up and all we have to do is look around at where we are now.
Better question is what should the citizenry do about a treasonous government .
The Roman Republic was run by Senators as a hereditary office, for centuries, until they didn’t.
Even the Founding Fathers warned against factions, and the American stasis of a two-Party system has survived since the mid-nineteenth century – far too long. These semi-noble Senators will surely sacrifice the Republican Party and its supporters very facilely when the time comes, to save themselves.
The American system of a Democrat and Republican Party is not vital and not essential. An upheaval in this absurdity would be useful, if only to get people to actually read the Constitution.
The Romans also had their version of a House of Representatives – the council of the Plebs. It was based on tribalism, and steered by officers called Tribunes. Our democratic House has also moved toward the Roman conception, sadly. As Pelosi sneered, a glass of water could get elected in some New York districts, if nominated by the Democrats.
The modern Uniparty oligarchy will, of course, give way inevitably to the first American Emperor (Caesar). Michelle (Oprah?), the job is yours for the taking.
What happened to those Senators once Tiberius became emperor should have a few Senators worried about that scenario.
Jefferson’s main complaint with his creation was this inevitable path to centralization (he called it consolidation). Leftists love the idea of centralizing power. Hamilton has returned to being an admired figure. (He never really left).
What always escapes the egomaniacs who populate an oligarchy or a democracy is that centralization is an endless downward slope to tyranny.
Probably missed that lecture in school. Just Saying 🤔🤗
Everything old is new again.
Note from a Canadian.
STOP ELECTING SENATORS.
Does this thing actually have a bill number yet?
Jeebers; news outlets are bereft of the basics.
Near as I can tell, this link is the real deal for the bill. No assigned bill number for the Senate as it currently stands.
Senate Bill 2938
that is not by accident. Had to hunt for it.
senate. murphy. gov had it
Indeed.
Sneaky move submitting as amendments to a bill naming a courthouse.
Here’s a list of amendments submitted to that Senate bill. A cursory glance on my part revealed more than a fair bit of gun control measures.
Everyone here should take a look.
