I’ve been contemplating a lot about what’s going on as it relates to their messaging and their appeal to various demographics. The SMARTER Democrat voters of the day are black and hispanic as they are largely turning away from the Democrat standard. I think their “anti-racist” campaigning is mostly aimed at white voters afraid of being called racist. The whole LatinX thing has offended spanish speakers so deeply and the left still doesn’t know why their changing of the language isn’t catching on. Black people are feeling the pain of inflation and unavailability of necessities probably worse than anyone else. If you live in a more dense population region and all shop within the region, the consumer demand is a LOT higher and if for whatever reasons they are stuck in the “single mom/welfare” career, then they are absolutely being destroyed in today’s economy and the Democrats have effectively abandoned them.

Pressure canning can be learned and done successfully simply by following the instructions that come in the books that come with the purchase of the equipment.
My mother canned/preserved every possible kind of item, including some that grew wild in our dryland pasture in NE Montana, and some that was shipped in on the Great Northern train from Michigan, Minnesota, or Washington state…she started doing that in the 1920s, and was still doing it in the 1970s, long after my Dad died.
I watched her do it. I never did it on my own until I was about 70 years old. I couldn’t remember the details of anything from those days so when I purchased the equipment about ten years ago, I just read the directions. WI got the same results Mom always got. Yummy.
