A helmet is a good idea on a bicycle…the typical motorcycle helmet can only protect the noggin from a tip over backward in a chair with the head smacking concrete…one example of the potential harm can be seen in the people who die, not from being punched by a robber or thug, but from smacking their head on the concrete.

I can give the old grifter a break on this one because…toe box…the shroud over the toe portion of the riders foot….I did the exact same thing 45 or 50 years ago…got hung up in the toe box and tipped over…what are those things for anyway?
There’s a strap through the top of the toe clip (never heard it called a toe box before!) that you can tighten so your foot doesn’t slip out. Makes it better for climbing so your feet don’t fall off the pedals causing you to slow down or crash. Most cyclists have clip-in pedals now.
Thanks…I didn’t know what it was called so searched duck and first thing I saw was “toe box”… back in the mid-seventies I could ride wheelies on my ten speed up to 1\4 mile….definitely didn’t need toe clips for that…

It looked like he had neuropathy in his leg/foot and could not will it to do what he meant to do/needed to do. I don’t think he could drive with that leg- maybe that’s why he always took the train.
Did a yoga class yesterday and there are people in that class well into their eighties with no such trouble. Looks like he couldn’t get up easily either though they conveniently cut the feed.

Oh my gosh! Seriously, he had to go see that little girl!! That is incredibly creepy! Did he ask her if she is 20? And tell her to not start dating?
It sounds like she asked him something like “what is it like being the President?” and he said “it’s just like any other job”. Yah, to him it is, he’s never done any real work at any of his prior political jobs and he’s not doing any real work now.
He had one foot on the ground, then, he lost his balance and fell. Had zero to do with the bike. WOW!

I had seen a few other videos that were not nearly as telling as this one. His balance is shot. He shouldn’t be using those pedal straps, they’re a total hazard for someone in his condition. At this point dude needs to be on a three-wheeler.
