Since the House is the body that Constitutionally starts the impeachment process and the Senate is the body that Constitutionally “finishes” the process with a vote, just what could head of the Executive branch, Donald J. Trump, have done to have blocked the process that would have been Constitutional, in your opinion?

In federal law “Contempt” is a misdemeanor whether it’s Contempt of Court or Contempt of Congress. A federal misdemeanor cannot exceed one year in prison but “Contempt” penalties rarely exceed 10 days in jail plus a small fine. To put this in perspective if you were caught fishing without a license in a prohibited part of a national park by a ranger you’d be charged with a misdemeanor and issued a NTA for Magistrate Court where a rookie federal prosecutor would quickly plead out your case to a $250 fine so he could head off to a nice lunch with his co-workers!
