Local elections like sheriff are still very difficult to rig because of the small scale and generally off year timing. A group could literally sit outside the voting locations and count the number of unique entrants. That plus the number of accepted mail in ballots would be the maximum number of votes possible.
In the county I left, they did it with urbanization and a multinational employer base (high density leftist voting blocks) and redistricting. Soon municipal voters outnumbered county voters and a woke marxist was elected as sheriff.

We are well armed, well supplied and well practiced here in America. Very little comparison in scale to Canada.

I am fully aware of the county model you are talking about. We have a similar a model in my county including citizen roles/patrols. I also am fully aware that it exists only until the next (rigged) county election. I left a county where that happened.
In the end the only one to stop them from taking your guns is you, with your gun. And yes, the one knocking at your door may well be the newly elected sheriff.

Honest question since it does seem to be true what is said, Australia is the experimental zone, Canada the proving ground with USA the true target.

Was reading a rather lengthy Douglas Farrow substack the other day where the author, in reviewing another substack author’s post, sees these government actions as being the Leviathan, a word that I hadn’t thought of in ages. Pretty sure both these authors are on target.
These two authors are exploring the progressivism which has overtaken governments as being the face used by the Leviathan, this author framing it in the face of the Ascension of Christ, reaching back to the sayings of Irenaeus as a means to understand where we’re at. It’s lengthy but filled some real gems.

I have no doubt that Canadians will go along with this nonsense. They irrationally think they are safer without guns up there. It is actually possible that they are as long as they don’t fear the possibility of a foreign invasion, but I would suggest that truth is that Canadians fear for their safety more than they want to protect their freedom.
If we want to get to the bottom of the issue, we have to pay more attention to what motivates people to think the way they do. I once lived in Canada and this was the particular issue that I found myself always out of step with most Canadians. I guessed that it was because many of their ancesters were committed subjects of the English Monarchy, who moved to Canada once the American Revolution started. I did not even own a firearm back in those days, but I was more affected by my ability to be rational about firearms than I was by my fear of being unsafe.
If you want to know why the guns grabbers seem to get what they want in most countries, just look at how irrational fear of an invisible virus was used to control entire populations for more than two years and counting.

When a government removes the citizen’s right to protect themselves, then it itself becomes their threat. And more so, the first amendment is far more valuable as once it is abused, the truth of the second becomes apparent.
This government infringed on our God given right to free speech and stole our voices in 2020 when the will of the people was ignored. I pray we may still restore this without violence, but given what they’re willing to do to our voices….they’re trending towards doing the same with our lives.
This government has crossed a line that I believe is uncrossable without serious repentance. But when was the last time you heard a politician say I was wrong, I’m sorry, please forgive me?
And that is how evil plays, evil doesn’t even know it’s wrong because it so truly is convinced it is the savior…that’s why Jesus was murdered in cold blood and how Stalin could smile while millions perished.
