Mike Pence is going to rally in Georgia on behalf of Brian Kemp’s reelection bid, because of course he is, Club rules.
The GOP club has outplayed the MAGA voters in the state of Georgia by using their private club rules along with the assist from an open primary.
Brian Kemp will win the GA republican (open ballot) primary with the help of democrats and GOP club endorsements.
The defeat of David Perdue will provide the Pence/Bush tenured club officials, ie. ‘the old guard‘, with the opportunity to disparage Donald Trump, claim MAGA is dead and Trump’s endorsements worthless. The media are all waiting anticipatory glee for the opportunity.
Sometimes you just have to swallow the bitter pill and move along. Both clubs in Georgia have made a deal, everything now is just watching the illusion of choice unfold.
NEW YORK (AP) — Former Vice President Mike Pence will campaign with Georgia’s incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp the day before this month’s GOP primary in his most significant political break with former President Donald Trump to date.
Kemp’s campaign announced Friday morning that Pence will headline a get-out-the-vote rally for Kemp on Monday, May 23rd, the day before the vote. That puts Pence in direct conflict with Trump-endorsed candidate David Perdue, who has been trailing in the polls. Kemp is one of Trump’s top targets this election cycle because of his refusal to cooperate with Trump’s efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
“Brian Kemp is my friend, a man dedicated to faith, family and the people of Georgia,” Pence said in a statement. “I am proud to offer my full support for four more years of Brian Kemp as governor of the great state of Georgia!”
The news comes as Pence has taken steps to distance himself from Trump as the former congressman and Indiana governor considers a 2024 presidential run that could put him into direct competition with his former boss. (read more)

I can’t get over the ruling on Perdue’s case.
The judge, operating on bigotry and prejudice, dismissed the case claiming, without evidence (see what I did there?), that it was brought in bad faith.

Even if Trump from 2016 existed and he does not, the man is an immature self-sabotaging leader. Known to fawn over anyone complementing him, and complete incompetence in personnel decisions make him counter-productive to any resistance to the existential threat and peril we face.

I agree. He is starting to look like controlled opposition. A lot of what he did made absolutely no sense. He needed to go scorched earth on these rats but appeased them instead. I like what he says but he sure isn’t playing 6D chess or whatever. That said, if he is really working for the other side why are they so intent on destroying him? There are so many angles to this story. I will still support him but I really like how DeSantis actually gets things done. He doesn’t let anyone push him around or cowtows to the establishment. He is the example for all repub governors.
It’s nice to see many are starting to see that the Trump we supported in 2016 is not the same guy. I suspect the first impeachment was used to blackmail/compromise Trump and he cut a deal to protect himself and family. They had over thirty FBI lawyers/ agents investigating every facet of his matters and there is no one that could undergo that degree of scrutiny and by dirty prosecutors and come out unscathed. So Barr (deep state) comes in and closes shop as the deal was in place. Trump was never the same after, he was for all intents and purposes neutered.
I would say the media and dems continued to go after him because they may not have known or more likely to hide the reality. Barr was no doubt the handler.

first, if he is, why are they trying to ruin him at every turn? Impeach him twice. Do you think if he cut a deal with them, this is the best he could do?
second, I agree he signed those spending bills. That’s the only leverage he had to get the wall started, to get nafta redone, tariffs on china.
third, he did endorse a bunch of losers, like Romney, McConnell, etc. it doesn’t do any good to endorse someone against them if they don’t have any chance to win. He loses political capital if he endorses against those people. By endorsing them, he has the slight possibility of some good will and support. It also exposes those people as frauds when they don’t support MAGA programs.
fifth, yes, it seems he made a lot of bad appointments. Do you really think that he could’ve MAGA appointments that would’ve actually created change? How was he going to do that with RINO in-charge McConnell and many other rino senators in place? It’s frustrating, yes. Do you realize he was the only president in recent history that had ZERO recess appointments? The senate, led by McConnell, never went into recess, which is unheard of! Especially when your party has control of the senate.
sixth, the whole pland3mic was a farce. What he did do is not force j*bs, like the new administration did. What he did is get a v*x in place in less than a year (though I don’t agree with it). If he didn’t, the next administration would’ve had even more leverage to keep things locked down longer.

eighth, start a new party? Do you know what that requires? Getting on ballots in every state? What about the local politicians? Going to start all those organizations at state, city and local levels? As difficult as that would without opposition, they’d be fighting lawsuits to make it never see the light of day. The best chance, like he is doing, is endorse candidates that will take control of the party. Is it easy? Nope. Will it be fast? Nope? But it IS the BEST chance.

last, I’m sure there’s a lot of people like me, thinking the government was inefficient, stealing a little but in general, looking out for America’s interests. What he did do is expose EVERYTHING. We know how bad everything is. Voting, selling out US, uniparty, back room dealings, making fortunes with foreign aid and weapon sales. The corruption of our intelligence agencies. The complicit cooperation of all the news agencies to keep this all from us.

All you have to do is look at kemps net worth from 2020 to now to see he has been bought. The new electric car plant he is trying to bring to Ga. is controled by george soros and he is lining kemps buddies pockets by buy the land from them for this project. When our new AG is elected he has promised to investigate the 2020 election so hopefully kemp and raffy will have to lawyer up.
