Democrat activists have listed the names and home addresses of conservative Supreme Court justices in an effort to organize violence against the court. A taller perimeter fence was installed around the Supreme Court building last night to stop any violent efforts by democrat activists, and personal security measures have been increased for the justices.
(Daily Mail) – An activist group called ‘Ruth Sent Us’ has published the supposed addresses of Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thmas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett and Chief Justice John Roberts and are planning a ‘walk-by’ of their homes next Wednesday, May 11.
‘Our 6-3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights,’ the group’s website reads. ‘We must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics.’ (read more)
Unfortunately, and in keeping with all prior support precedent for Occupy Wall Street, Black Lives Matter, Antifa and other violent groups, the installed president and radical administration officials have aligned themselves with the violent confrontation. The White House has refused to speak out against the intimidation effort and/or condemn the violence.

The security officials for Justice Alito cancelled plans for him to participate in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals judicial conference starting on Thursday, as the associate justice is tasked with reviewing emergency appeals from the 5th Circuit. It is unclear if Justice Roberts and Justice Thomas, who were slated to get remarks at a similar conference for the 11th Circuit on Thursday and Friday, will still appear.
The truly tragic thing is that once the majority opinion is released (if this is the final majority opinion), all judges who voted for it still won’t be safe after its release.
Maybe after January 20, 2025, but until then there is the risk that some lefty nut might want to “create” a vacancy on the Court for Biden to fill.

I saw a couple of screenshots from Telegram of accounts discussing the assassination of certain Justices to make spots open for Potato’s choices. Apparently, these people feel comfortable enough to openly discuss these things given the current state of shambles.

That is not what the words “the press” meant — they only meant printed words able to be mass disseminated.)

Mike Lee clerked for the Court and explained how drafts are handled. They are only on the Court intranet, and can’t be sent to an outside address. It’s rare to print out a draft, and when a clerk does, that goes in a “burn bag.” All burn bags are collected at the end of the day, and the pages shredded vertically and horizontally. Then the “confetti” is burnt, and mixed with water to make a sludge that is discarded.
If someone downloaded it to a flash, presumably the Court IT people could find out who did that. Or someone could have printed a draft and taken pictures of all 98 pages with a cellphone – without being noticed, that could be hard.
I doubt any justice was in on it. They have their differences, but are quite cordial to each other. Before each oral argument, they shake hands all around as a sign of collegiality.

One small note about the identity of the leaker. There has been some speculation that turns on a supposed relationship with Josh Gerstein, the Politico legal affairs reporter who is the lead author on their story. It seems to me that the leak very likely runs instead through the other reporter with a byline on the story: Alexander Ward, who is a national security reporter. In response to questions from The Washington Post, Politico confirmed that the story was very tightly held, even from its own staff. Almost surely, the leaker would have insisted on that confidentiality. I cannot think of a reason that Ward would have been on the story other than that the leaker communicated through him, not Gerstein. And Politico would have felt compelled to give Ward a byline on such a historic scoop.

Here’s my logic – the leaked vote is a prelim count, before Roberts browbeats either Kavanaugh or Barrett to the lib side.
The intent of the leak would make it harder for Roberts to change the outcome.
Wanted to throw it out there, since everyone and their brother assumes it was a lib clerk who leaked.

Eventually, the fences will be merged into one fence around several buildings. We know this, but nobody watching this seems to know it, that this is about what the Constitution stands for and simply then allowing the states to make their own decisions on this issue.
