Today is primary day in Ohio and Indiana. Additionally, there are five state legislative run-offs today, four in Michigan and one seat in Georgia where candidates did not get 50% of the vote.
Most of the nation will be focused on Ohio for the republican senate primary and governor’s race. J.D. Vance secured President Donald Trump’s endorsement in a crowded and contentious senate primary. On the Democratic side, Rep Tim Ryan is considered the front-runner.
UPDATE: President Trump endorsed J.D. Vance wins the republican senate primary. The Trump endorsed candidates are so far winning every seat in the primary. Media melting down because MAGA remains strong!

Unfortunately, Mike DeWine meekly wins the governor’s race with less than 50% of the vote. The splitter strategy worked to protect DeWine from the “anyone but DeWine” vote. Very frustrating.
Consider this an open discussion thread throughout the evening.
Go Tore!!!!!
Yet at least 45% of primary (R) voters will vote for candidates that hate The Don.
There’s the problem.
Where do you get that as from what I have seen eighty to ninety percent of R’s are pro Trump.
🙂
Please…while Mitch is minority leader at least 50% of Congressmen are anti -Trump when it matters.
I was talking the voters not the establishment rino’s.
🙂
The (R) Congressmen are there because of the primary vote….getting it now?
Because of fraud…not actual voter votes.
Nonsense…they are selected by Republican primary voters.
Trolls always end up exposing themselves. We just have to give you a little time.
Grow up.
Get lost.
Ja.
Don’t feed it.
Right….so the Republican primaries are fraudulent to join the Congressional and Senate elections which are going toi be fraudulent to join the Pesidential election which was fraudulent.
Guess you don’t have to0 think any more
Guess YOU don’t have to comment anymore……at least at the Treehouse.
👍 👍.
🤣. 🤣
Booger man Drip Bad Bad.
Thank you, Ad Rem.
Let me add…..”Drip” wasn’t banned for his opinions, he was banned because of the way he talks to other commenters. Rudeness and name-calling are simply not acceptable…..and in this regard, he has a long history.
Excellent! Ad Rem has our backs.
Sadly you are correct. Repub voters elect their Rinos. Very rarely does someone “break through” the Establishment Wall like Rubio did to Charlie Crist for US Senate.
But, then Rubio stabs his Tea Party base in the back and joins the Gang of 8 to push Amnesty within weeks of arriving in DC.
So by all means keep voting, but with Trump’s Repub picks like Dr. Ozzie and San Fran Vance don’t hold your breath too long. You might pass out before 2024.
When Trump was running in the 2015/2016 Republican presidential primaries what did the Republican Establishment say about him?
Trumps: NOT a conservatine, he’s a NYC liberal, a fake Christian, pro abortion, a Democrat pretending to be a Republican. Trumps a RINO. Trump will bEtRaY you.
The Establishment used the same smear and fear script to take out Youngkin, the Republican Trump endorsed in the 2021 governors race in supposedly forever blue state of Virginia. Muh Youngkins a RINO. Trumps betrayed “his MAGA bAsE”.
Now the Establishments using the SAME script and the SAME smears to take out the people Trumps endorsed ie asked us to support and vote for in the 2022 Republican primaries in blue/purple states.
OMG!!!! Trumps endorsed JD Vance, Dr Oz and Perdue They are RINOs. Trumps ” bEtRaYeD his MAGA bAsE”.
As long as smear and fear psyops work the Establishment will keep using them.
I’m so grateful enough OH primary voters rejected the smear and fear payola and selected JD Vance.
Im praying savvy PA voters will do as President Trump asked and choose Dr Oz and that GA voters will choose Perdue.
The GOP/e Republicans are basically soulless drones who are completely wedded to voting results. They depend on being decepitcons which, in turn, depends on their ability to maintain a facade of conservatism. They fear and hate Trump because he doesn’t play along and instead encourages the MAGA movement to reject GOP/e dogmas. He publicly ridicules McConnel and, hence the entire DC Republican establishment. Basically he terrifies them them. These wins he’s getting in the states signals to the GOP/e that a new leader is in town. He ain’t playin’ their game and, moreover, he is backed up by a truly massive MAGA constituency which will loyally vote for Trump and Trump’s picks. Their political future now depends on Trump and MAGA. We now live in interesting times.
Mitch is minority leader of the SENATE, not the House.
Who Republican Congressmen side with, Mitch or Trump, typically depends on who they FEAR most.
If Mitch can no longer protect and reward them but Trump can, then they will side with Trump.
Its NOT necessary to covert them to gain their cooperation. Typically, all that’s needed is to change their cost/benefit calculations.
Remember the Winged Monkeys reaction when Dorothy melted the Wicked Witch? Mitch is one of our “movies” Wicked Witches.
That’s why making sure that Trumps Republican targets are taken out in the primary is vital.. That’s why its so important to ensure Trumps endorsed candidates win. Especially if the candidates being smeared as a RINO.
Who was also smeared by Establishment Republicans as a liberal Democrat, pro abortion, fake Christian, liberal RINO? Trump.
And now who are being smeared just like Trump was? People Trump endorses in blue/purple state races. Youngkin. And JD Vance. And Dr Oz. And Perdue.
Same Establishment smear and fear scripts. Same real target, Trump and Americans. Different names and new rage bait.
“…candidates that hate The Don.”
It looks as if DeWine is coasting to victory with 52% of the vote. 😫
So far, even if you add Renacci and Blystone’s votes together, DeWine is still ahead of that by 20,000 votes. I think people here tend to like name recognition and often vote accordingly…
I disagree 100000000000 percent if President Trump would have endorsed either candidate for Governor Dewine would be gone …
100000000000000000000
Percent fact and he didn’t when Dewine snubbed him so many times.
Agree
Yes Presidlent Trump could have saved us from dewhine
I totally agree with you there. Vance really rocketed ahead the pack with Trump’s endorsement, and I think the same would have happened if he had done that for Blystone or Renacci. I just meant that absent that, people here often just vote for a name they know.
That says a lot. They have to “hear the name” — either out of Trump’s mouth or out of some newscaster’s moutn — to vote for a candidate. We’re not dumbed down to the point that it’s “Trump could have saved us”?? Groan. That’s an almost blaming of Trump… rather than a solid blaming of the dumbed-down voters who refused to do the most basic research. We’re in sad shape, but we knew that already, everybody posting here, at least.
Of course voters are to blame but Trump only endorses safe candidates it seems like. For instance, I’m pretty sure he has never endorsed Kris Kobach who would have been great for the state of Kansas. It seems like trump endorses candidates that will not really fight for anything. Hate to say it but seems true. Same with the pardons, and SC justices. we need a new white knight because trump isn’t it. Everyone needs to stop clinging to his endorsements and think for themselves. Although most of his endorsements are the correct ones at the time.
Trump endorsed slimeball toad gnome sleazy RINO Denver Riggleman instead of the conservative challenger. Riggleman essentially blackmailed Trump, told Trump if he didn’t get his endorsement he would vote to impeach him. Trump endorsed Riggleman, a very weak endorsement, but none the less an endorsement. We were furious w/Trump because we know exactly who Riggleman is. It was appalling. We only found out after the fact how the endorsement came about, which makes me wonder w/some of these other endorsements Trump has made, like Oz.
Power to the people dumped Riggleman, it was an ugly race but our side prevailed. Riggleman offered his services to aid Cheney on the Jan 6 committee POS that he is. A few days ago finding more lucrative pastures Riggleman left for UKraine to dip his toes in that candy jar. He is one of the dirtiest, filthiest people in Swamp. I despise him to the core.
Anyway, my point is you are 100%, people need to stop clinging to the endorsements and do their own homework. Get out and meet the candidates if possible. Think for yourself, stay off the bandwagons.
Source: dude trust me.
Rssponse: no
When on a ship with a White Squall approaching what’s the ONLY hope of survival? Having a self disciplind crew able to FOLLOW
the Captains DIRECTIONS and work TOGETHER.
For life saving insight, view the movie trailer for “White Squall” on You Tube. Notice the famous ships bell motto, Where We Go 1, We Go All. Or as the colonists during our first successful Revolution against the Globalists used to warn each other, “hang together and win or lose and hang seperately”.
Thank God enough OH Republican primary voters hung together and listened to our Captain in the Storm. They did as Trump asked. They voted for JD Vance. Trump won this battle thanks to his OH ” crew”. White Squall Mitch’s Mafia lost.
Praying that PA and GA voters will also be disciplined enough to choose Dr Oz and Perdue.
“Trump only endorses sAfE candidates” Dump Drumpf.😂😂😂😂😂
Duper or duped?
Either way, thanks for inspiring me to pray for you after I was done laughing.
People are stupid! Don’t they remember just recently, how awful he is! It’s just recently too!!!! His name should be remembered as awful!
Rather than “like” name recognition, it’s “too lazy to research, and ‘hey, I’ve heard of that guy—I’ll vote for him'”—syndrome.” Even if it means returning a none-too-popular governor to office.
What a shame. DeWine is a loser.
😵😤
I don’t think it’s registered yet with many that “the right” is incredibly fractured in about 4 different ways / directions.
People that fall themselves conservatives are generally not at all conservative.. Like what the left does, the definition of the word has completely changed
The largest fracture is probably right progressives vs right constitutionalists… But as I said, that’s been largely blurred so that the progressives actually think they’re a constitutionalist today.
I see RINOs calling RINOs, RINOs… It’s kinda dismal.
Your second biggest split is probably Uniparty vs common Joe… Often times common Joe doesn’t even understand that’s happen and he buys into the Uniparty propaganda and cultist thinking.
Religion drives much of this.
Agree. Most guys at work only hear muh socialism, defund the police and gun rights. Exactly what uniparty wants them thinking. Not a one talks about the destruction of the bill of rights, foreign aid/money laundering or the anti-white agenda pushed in all ways of life. Maybe a little of the latter because of their sports programs. If you get a little in depth with them they shut down. I tell them about this site all of the time but they still get their info from what people share on Facebook
The Death Cult Establishments motto: Divide then conquer.
Gandalf Trumps motto: Unite and survive.
Remember in 2015/16 the reasons voters were given by the Establishment to reject Trump?
They said Trump was: not a “true” cOnsErvAtive, a NYC liberal, pro abortion, fake Christian, democrat in disguise, RINO who would bEtRaY Republican voters.
Death Cultists ALWAYS project. Alinksy 101.
DeWine will wish he had retired and spent more time with his family
Everything he does in the next four years will be a fight. That’s a Promise
That is not a given.
I have yet to meet one Republican who “hate The Don”. Some may not always agree with everything, but “hate” sounds like superfluous bullshit.
You may need to look outside of the bubble some. I don’t “hate” Trump by any means… But I wouldn’t vote for him again.
Good luck with Biden then
and we think libtards are the only dummies.
That’s the whole problem right there… You believe you have a choice.
I don’t.
I have to agree, we don’t have a choice, it is an illusion. Not sure about the religion part, I know plenty of Right’ers that don’t go to church, and they are just as mixed up as those that are religious. They do tend to have moral beliefs of right vs wrong though.
Part of the problem I see w/those on the Right is the ones that believe in free speech as long as you agree w/them. If you dare think for yourself or see things from a different angle then you are called a liberal or RINO. Proof in point is the reactions you received for your comment.
And God help you if you aren’t on the cheery bandwagon but believe in reality, Realville, as Rush used to call it. It is very much a problem w/in the Conservative, Republican, Patriot, whatever label you want to use Party. People are all over the map, unlike the Commies that are one for all, and all for one no matter what, come hell or high-water. And Thank God we have almost finally quit using the term “true conservative”. We don’t have a Party because it is all one big fat jumbled mess of misfits.
America is a real life version of Tolkeins Middle Earth ie a glorious jumble of “misfits”.
In Tolkien’s True fiction epic, “Lord of the Rings”, Gandalf was able to unite enough of Middle Earth’s “jumbled mess of misfits” to defeat Sauron and his orcs.
Fortunately, in real life, our Founders were able to unite enough of the colonys “jumbled mess of misfits” to break free from the British Sauron Globalists.
Fortunately, in 1812, one of Trumps inspirations, General Andrew Jackson, was able to unite enough of Americas “jumbled mess of misfits” to defeat the invading British Globalist orc army at the Battle of New Orleans.
Thank God General Andrew Jackson was Gandalf enough to welcome Louisiana’s pirates as brothers in arms rather than rejecting their help.
Now Gandalf Trump has created an Alliance of “misfits” in order to Save our Republic from the Globalist saurons and orcs.
Obviously each of us does have a very real choice. We can choose to join our Gandalf, President Trump, and his Alliance, just as our forefathers had that choice.
Anyone who believes there are no REAL choices is still enslaved by psyop lies and living in the Death Cults land of illusions.
As Thomas Paine said, “now is the time that tries (tests) all mens souls”.
Or, as our Gandalf Andrew Jackson, President Trump, keeps telling you that its time to Wake Up and start helping out.
Hopefully sleep walking doomers with Eyes Wide Shut will hear President Trump and do as he says.
Their help will be welcomed. The more misfits and pirates the better.
#SaveAmericaAgain #MAGA,A.
Still falling for the Death Cults psyop lies that there’s no real choice? Muh rEsiStAnCe is fUtiLe.
Hopefully you’ll get enough presents to eventually Wake Up, realize the psyops are lies and decide to enter the Real World.
Best wishes and Bon voyage.
This is the only place I see self-proclaimed Republicans who just have to reveal their distaste for PDT while not having a bad word to say about the army of globalists fighting him on the other side…and using the common tactic of accusing those who point out that it’s a contrary notion of a view of being “in a bubble” rather than “among the majority.”
Well I definitely don’t fit that, I’m not a republican. I left the party in 2002 for the Patriot Act, something I definitely don’t regret.
Republicans are no longer conservative, they haven’t been since the 1950’s but it took me a while to understand the history of that.
The original comment I replied to above seems to have disappeared, but to paraphrase it was something like ‘90% of everyone backs trump’.
My point wasn’t to be argue, it was simply to say of you find yourself around that many conservatives who do… You may wanna expand your circle because MANY don’t.
Utopianists. Virtuous sidelining critics of pragmatic doers. Tweens.
Love Teddy Roosevelt’s famous rebuke of sideliners and praise for doers like President Trump. “Man in the Arena”.
Rudyard Kiplings poem, “If” is also profoundly inspiring.
Both are used in many powerful Trump tribute/thank you motivational videos still found on You Tube.
Thankfully, as long as a person still has a present, its not too late to get off the sidelines and embrace their adventure in the real world.
“Republicans are no longer conservative, they haven’t been since the 1950’s…”
Nixon propelled the Republican Party into wage and price controls. He violated the Breton Woods agreement, which put us on the road to chronic deficits.
His establishment of the EPA led to spotted owls and snail darters being elevated above the interests of farmers and loggers.
Especially in his home state of California, this led to reduced water releases for agricultural production and pandemic wildfires.
Robert Taft was arguably the last fiscal and socially conservative Republican.
Even Ronald Reagan quipped, “The deficit is big enough to take care of itself.” This sounds more like FDR than fiscal conservatism.
At this point in our national history, conservatism is a dying breed.
What’s the reason you wouldn’t vote for Trump?
He isn’t being honest with his supporters… The list would get long and winding but my top few would probably be.
Calling the Maricopa county board “Democrats and their attorneys”… It’s republican controlled.
His cabinet picks… There are always bad apples but his were a history of dismal disaster.
Hanging J6th’ers out to dry… He invited them, asked them to be there and then completely abandoned them.
Covid… Period! Every damn thing about his decisions there.
Not splitting from the party that obviously railed him.
Barr… Need I say more than Lon Tomohisa Horiuchi ?
Promoting the MAGA agenda, which will be the tea party 2.0… again. Someone pulls this stunt about every 12 years.
FISA… And he of ALL people renew it?
Bump stocks
I’d be here all night…
A typical word salad of psyop smears and self righteously petulant tween complaints.
Thanks for offering me an opportunity to increase patience and self control. Also thanks for inspiring me to pray for all Eyes Wide Shut sleep walkers.
Hopefully they will Wake Up and start helping out before its too late. For them.
okayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy dokey I disagree with you on many of those and I choose to look at what he accomplished even if he did make some mistakes and he fought with his hands tied.
Still NO ONE else will fight for the American people and FOR jobs and prosperity
He did it before and he will do it again
even without your vote
Dev,
Whenever you get upset with PDJT, remember he is a Real Estate Developer, not a Politician. That is his strength. I think the right and left both continue to make the mistake of viewing him as a Politician.
One to add, largely he isn’t a conservative.
“He’s not a conservative”.
Au contraire, dear sleep walker.
However, why engage in current year Fatal Distractions reminiscent of debates around how many angels could dance on the head of a pin?
Those debates are peace time indulgences.
Right now, we are in a real, live or die war with a Cabal of humanity despising psychopaths. These psychopaths have infiltrated rather than invaded America and currently control DC!
Perhaps Wake Up and help out?
Perhaps stop trying to redefine the word conservative into social political democracy?
You can’t out elect this, yet people will keep swearing you can by whatever new dangled political solution fed to them.
Some understand when it blows up in their faces, some just jump to the next all new and sure-to-work political solution.
This doesn’t end without good men doing very bad things.
Neither is the rest of the field. Ron Paul comes closest but he lacks Trump’s fighting spirit.
Oh God here we go again ….
I assume you are either a commie or an anti American.
Or a conservative
“A conservative”.
A meaningless term. By design.
Used to dupe rubes who vote based on labels and brands.
Used in malevolent deceive distract and divide psyops.
Used as political camo by psyop wolves.
Used by sideliners as a virtue soothing blankie.
I guess everything you disagree with is fed by conspiracy and psyopt?
Seems to be a pattern.
a meaningless term … I’d like to see it thrown away How about a Patriot
All words are meaningless when people constantly accept sliding definitions unique to the beholder.
Both the left and right love that tactic.. ask either and they will both claim to be patriots as well.
So I’ll go with constitutionalist if that puts it into more concrete terms for you.
Circular firing squad. This is why we lose.
Which one of his America first policies did you detest enough to not vote for him again? Just curious. Energy independence, manufacturing brought back home, thriving stock market, low interest rates, tax cuts, strong dollar, no wars, or perhaps it was keeping world dictators in check you didn’t like? I know, his arrogance and mean tweets actually make you not vote for him because those things effect your day to day life. 🙄
The list is above… His tweets were far too mild.
Jesus was the only Perfect human without sin. Trump isn’t perfect and to expect him to do everything right and perfect is just silly. His policies speak volumes over his cabinet picks and all the swamp creatures he underestimated. Pushing the shot and continuing to claim responsibility for it is his biggest black eye. I’ll give you that. Sad you’d cut off your nose to spite your face with your views on Trump and what he’s done and can do for our country if he runs and wins in 2024.
Presidents do NOT appoint/hire his cabinet.
Who does?
The Swamp Demon controlled SENATE.
That’s one reason why its so important that President Trumps endorsed candidates win.
RINOs will comply with whoever they fear the most. Trump and his MAGA supporters or Mitch and his Establishment Republican Mafia.
Converting RINOs to MAGA is not necessary during this phase of our war.
Compliance is all that’s needed.
I would invite you to spend some time in DC, state government and campaigns… I work in this mess that is “government” and I can tell you it’s nothing like you think.
The terms you are using, the sides you are putting so much faith in. Really only exist in campaign prop and internet forums.
“ Jesus was the only Perfect human without sin.”
Straw man
We are not looking for redemption; we simply want social and fiscal conservatives in public office.
Understanding Civics 101 helps guard against falling for the Swamp Demons psyop smears and deceptions.
Example: the SENATE appoints the people who fill ALL cabinet and political positions, NOT the President. Especially President Trump.
Muh Drumpfs should have made MAGA appointments/hires. 😂😂😂
Many of such psyop narratives are listed in that backward gazing, tween petulant, list of complaints.
FISA and bump stocks are reason enough to believe President Trump is not a social conservative.
Then there is the fiscal profligacy…
simply put we don’t need your vote … Democrats are waking up and coming over Ohio lost EVERY congressional district last night to R … people are waking up
Civics 101: Who creates and passes the budget? The House. Who then agrees? The Senate.
What happened when President Trump vetoed A spending bill? The House AND Senate over rode President Trumps veto.
Muh Drumpfs “fiscal profligacy”.
Psyop duper or one of the psyop duped?
Backward gazing during this war with the Global humanity despising psychopaths is a Fatal Distraction. And Neo Antoinette indulgent. Way beyond cake.
Please Wake Up. FOCUS. Help.
Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery, dear “sickconservative”. 😘
well good luck with your freedoms then
At least a good portion of the problem.
Is it possible that the SPLITTER candidate had an early birthday??? Just asking other curious cats.
I have traveled into OH for decades, and it seems there have been dewine campaign signs in every election. It is obvious that he is a professional politician…in the MOLD of turtle.
They never go away, never get cleaned up, thus the mold.
What’s your basis for saying that?
Let’s go J.D
I wish he had stayed in Silicon Valley were he belongs.
“I wish (JD) had stayed in Silicon Valley”.
As so many famous sayings and stories warn, beware what you wish for, your wish may be granted.
President Trump tried to help supporters grow up and wise up with his first rally ending song.
“You can’t always get what you WANT (thank God) but if you try, you might get what you NEED (thank God”.
Fortunately, President Trump has the love, patience and self discipline to ignore impatient supporter’s ” I Want” demands and to remain laser FOCUSED on what we NEED.
#SaveAmericaAgain #MAGA,A
Woo Hoo!
Trump-backed J.D. Vance projected winner in tumultuous Senate GOP primary showdown in Ohio | Fox News
Um, was that announced before the vote count started or….??????
I am still amazed that Trump has so fully endorsed Vance who, a few years ago, practically called him Satan.
I voted for him per President Trump’s desires but my mouth still has a really bad taste.
vance called me and mine all kinds of viscous things…
Well…at one point HRC campaigned for Goldwater and Reagan was originally a D! Actually…at one point in time, wasn’t DJT a registered D?
DJT was my 17th choice in the 2016 primary, but I voted for him by the time the CA primary happened in June. It was down to Trump vs Cruz and I went with William F Buckley’s advice to vote for the most conservative guy who can win the election.
With every unfair and bogus attack, I liked him more. Trump fought back. Trump stood up for American values. His endorsements are for people he believes will support his agenda. I’m giving Trump the benefit of the doubt on JD.
You had Jeb! ahead of PDJT? Wow, just wow.
I would have blanked my vote had Bush been the nominee.
I started with Rand Paul. I then switched to Ben Carson. I never supported Jeb, who was never a contender and dropped out before I ran out of options. After Carson dropped out. I preferred either Cuban. By the time I voted in June there were only two candidates left; Cruz and Trump.
I guess that technically Trump was my 16th choice, because ultimately I voted for Trump over Cruz. I get your point. I never would have voted for Jeb, Santorum, Christie or Kasich. I would pick a new favorite as each of my previous favorite of the pack dropped out.
Trump got my vote when he said in the Debate “only Rosie O’Donnell”
Haha! I’m a slow learner!
That was so funny.
Trump brought in joy.
I would have thought it mean if Rosie hadnt been so mean to him and his family already…
As it was it just made me laugh.
MY PRESIDENT. 🙂
Yep. I liked him from the start. He spoke FROM the heart and TO the people. He didn’t use bureaucratese or five words when two would do, and he was fearless. He talked about what I cared about, not what the party wanted him to talk about. And he was fun. All ’round, the kind of outsider we had been needing to break up the DC cabal for decades.
But I underestimated how much the very qualities I (and other Americans) loved in him were hated by that cabal — who knew the FBI was full of traitors like Strzok and Page plotting their “insurance” regardless of what the people wanted? Of course, had I known, it would have only attached me to PDT all the more.
From the beginning, he talked AGAINST illegals and FOR Americans…after eight years of BO, that was exactly what I and millions of others were hungry for.
I fervently hope you are on the right track, Mrs. Jones! Glad I am not an Ohioan to have to make that choice.
God bless you!!!
The success of President Trumps Save America team depends on disciplined and mature warriors like you.
“[W]asn’t DJT a registered D?”
Compare the policy preferences of Scoop Jackson and Sam Nunn with those of DJT and try to convince me he is not a 1980s Democrat.
And JFK would be considered an EXTREME right winger by current politics. Your point in bringing up names from the 1970’s?
Do try to come current.
You are a conservative but lack historical perspective??
I thought in the old Rona Barrett interview he was a Republican.
Are Republicans necessarily conservative?
Trump was an anti Republican Establishment Republican even in his teens. He and his dad supported OG libertarian conservative, Barry Goldwater and then Reagan, who Establishment Republicans despised just like they despise Trump. However they FEAR Trump faaaar more. With good reason.
Trump, Perot and Nader lead the anti NAFTA pushback against Establishment Democrats and Republicans.
By 2000 Trump had publicly split with the Republican Party after Globalist leftists seized control of the Presidency and the conservative movement Trump helped create. He became an outspoken critic of these leftist infiltrators who called themselves NeoCons.
Trump considered joining Perots Reform Party and spent over a decade doing OCD tier research into the feasibility of using a Third Party to achieve his MAGA vision.
Wisely, Trump decided instead to launch a hostile take over of an already existing national party; the Republican Party.
His hostile takeover continues and is now out in the open. Battle lines are clearly drawn.
Right now the war is being waged in state Republican primary race battles, especially races where President Trump has an endorsed candidate.
These are very REAL WAR battles with REAL WAR consequences despite the lack of old fashioned blood and bombs. For now.
To the victor will go the spoils.
Here’s a link President Trump shared asking for our help https://theprecinctstrategy.com
And?
@mycroft – I did as well, per President Trumps endorsement.
Voting has lost its lustre lol. Not convinced my one vote does actually make a difference, but I will continue to exercise my right to vote.
Your one vote *definitely* makes a difference.
So nice to see ya again, bleep. How’s life been treating ya up in the polar nw? Still have algae blooms up there?
Don’t stay away so long, you contribute so much!
See ya next election, bleep, but hopefully before.
Be blessed.
I also voted for Vance based on Trump’s endorsement. I also like and seriously considered Josh Mandel. His last appearance on War Room he sounded really good. I think he’d kill Timmy Ryan in a debate. So I wouldn’t be sad if Mandel won and I’d be glad to see President Trump’s pick win also. But none of the others.
I also voted for Renacci against DeWine. I loathed the things he said and did during the pandemic.
Looks like dewhine has it and it has to be stolen. I know NO ONE who likes dewhine
I went with Blystone against DeWine and I went with JD Vance
Didn’t Mandel have a Conservative record as state treasurer? Mark Levin supported Mandel.
DeWine is so typical of most Repubs. I only vote Repub because democRats are Bolsheviks.
I liked Trump from the beginning in 2015 but his personnel picks are hit and miss. Some are just Rinotards.
Josh Mandel has well-proven conservative credentials. Why he did not get President Trump’s endorsement is a mystery to me.
Labelling candidates as conservatives, RINOs or MAGA/not MAGA are a basic Establishment deceive, distract and divide psyop tactic.
Remember what Establishment smear psyops said about Trump in 2015/16?
Trusted “influencers” ALL said Trumps: not a conservative, a democrat Hillary plant, a NYC liberal, pro abortion, fake Christian, RINO who will bEtRaY America.
In 2015/16, dupers and dupes were ignored. Thank God.
In 2021, the Establishment used the same 2015/16 Trump smear attacks against the Republican President Trump endorsed in supposedly forever blue Virginia’s governors race.
Muh Youngkins a RINO. Muh Trump bEtRaYeD his MAGA base by endorsing a RINO.
Again the dupers and duped were ignored. Thank God.
On election night, forever blue Virginia electrified the world with a miraculous Red Wave of election night victories.
This is one of many reasons why President Trumps endorsements and our support is so VITAL.
President Trump, as our WARS Commander in Chief, knows which wins will help him advance our war to Save America from the psychopaths.
He put everything he loves on the line to lead us and guide us through the psyop fog of the Establishments disinfo war that attacks our hearts and minds 24/7.
When he asks for something specific, which he rarely does, I am grateful and happy to help him by giving him the help he’s asked for.
Even though its obvious by now that Trumps a baby killing, fake Christian, RINO Hillary asset. 😘
Yeah I did to.. Still tho swampy what happened no other way to look at it.
Dewine could have been gone easy peasy if President Trump would have endorsed either candidate they would have won just like J Vance….
Thing is both other candidates would have been more in line with Trump than Vance ever was.
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me (unless I allow them to). And I dont.
Also never experienced memories of mean words triggering PTSD taste bud hallucinations.
Thank God.
Bottom line, kudos for doing as President Trump asked and voting for JD, despite this affliction. 😘
President Trump said if he didn’t support people who had called him bad names that there’d be no one left to support.
,
Have you ever noticed how President Trump likes to surround himself with celebrities?
You mean like our entire culture does?
At least PDJT doesn’t give $100M contracts to B-list celebrities like former Prince Harry and his bad actress wife. Or the same for Michelle Obama. PDJT isn’t nearly as starstruck as Reed Hastings. Effen leftist twit.
Point taken but Vance and Oz are second rate choices for public office.
Whose payroll are you on?
Troll City.

Aren’t there many famous warning about what happens to the pride possessed? What caused Lucifers fall?
Yes, they are second rate RINOs … second rate GOPes. And you say that like it’s a bad thing?
No, but I do see how they like to be around him, hoping it will rub off somehow.
P.S. Ever heard of Celebrity Apprentice? He didn’t need the celebrities, they needed him. He revived a lot of dead careers and introduced a gave a jump start to many newbies, including Luke Bryan. Bottom line, The Apprentice was much better without the celebs in my opinion.
I’ve noticed that President Trump genuinely seems to love people, no matter what their social status. He even loves “haters and losers”.
Trumps ability to use Gods eyes when looking at Gods children inspires me to emulate him.
no actually he has not been in celebrit world in AGES
“I am stil amazed” by President Trumps belief in a persons ability to change ie in Trumps belief that repentance and redemption are possible?
Remember the famous Pharisee Saul who was a relentless persecutor of Christs followers?
What became of Saul? Hint: Name change.
Who was St Paul before his Road to Damascus epiphany?
Tim Ryan was running Youtube ads that were hilarious. He was all about getting tough on China and putting Americans First. He never identified himself as a Democrat.
When I went to vote today, the lady asked which ballot I wanted even though I am a registered Republican. Apparently, you can switch on the spot. I told her that was ridiculous. She shrugged.
I live in the district next to Ryan’s but lived and worked many years in that district. He is a do-nothing Congressman, we used to call him “Nancy’s boy toy”. If he is just giving a speech, with no questions or pushback, he is mediocre. In a debate against a strong candidate – probably any of the Republicans – he would have his famous deer-in-the-headlight look and be scrambling to find the words. But he has that Irish name and the good looks so a lot of people in this area love him.
He used to work for our local legend, Jim Traficant. Beam me up, Scotty!
Tim Ryan is a sad product of the Trumbull County Democrat machine where his mom could have a no-show and no-work job due to WHO she is and WHO her son is.
Tim Ryan is a clown living large and living very well while preaching a fake populism that actually benefits the old money.
“…fake populism that actually benefits the old money.”
You offer a penetrating insight into this crap weasel’s political strategy.
Tim Ryan gets nice compliments from RINO Hugh Hewitt who’s from Warren JFK HS just like him.
They’re all gross, fake, and country clubbers who preach the fake populism.
Tim Ryan hangs out at Avalon Country Club but preaches how down trodden he is.
Total fraud.
They couldn’t hang in the west side of Massillon, Ohio.
I’ll still always love Ohio.
Meh. Ohio is the economic black hole of the universe.
I have made several attempts at escape velocity only to be drawn back into its orbit.
I fear my old bones will someday be interred in Ohio’s cold clay.
I agree, V. Ryan was talking like Trump — about how we want to buy things in Ohio that are made in Ohio. Getting tough on China. (he even said “CHY-na” like Trump.) And a bunch of other Trump talking points. And after being part of the obstructionist block of Democrats that wouldn’t vote for anything President Trump wanted to work with them on, Tim has the nerve to say that NOW we should stop being Democrats or Republicans, and work together as Americans. Aaarrggh! Made me scream at the TV…
Look, I know a little about Trumbull County. I like Warren, Ohio. Tim Ryan lives very LARGE in Howland Township, which is a suburb of Warren. He’s as fake as a Chinese knock off Amazon purchase. Totally fake populism. Tim Ryan doesn’t know how to get his hands dirty at all.
I was also wondering about being able to vote in either primary.
I read Hillbilly Elegy when it was published, before any of us knew who JD Vance was. I suspected at the time he was planning a political career based on who was promoting his book.
I liked the book a lot and admired his success but remained suspicious of his political ambition. That said, he has continued to grow on me and Trump’s endorsement sealed the deal for me. Of course I am not in Ohio so I understand if those who live in the state have a contrary and/or more sophisticated opinion than mine.
The state of Ohio is the primary beneficiary of a good person being elected to represent them, but the survival of our Republic depends on having at least several good, brave citizens in the Senate. This is an interesting race.
I am born and raised SE Ohio and vance isn’t one of us.
I held my nose and voted for him but I wish I had better choices.
I might read his book if I can get it with paying for it.
His love of his grandmother was compelling to me. She was the central person in his childhood. She was the opposite of politically correct, tough as nails and hilarious. The way he honors this woman in his story was telling.
I was also turned off by his political maneuvering but I’m going to give him a chance.
I think you might be surprised if you actually read the book… Having some of my own “poor, white trash” relations in that area, I found his grasp of what has happened to destroy the middle class in this country to be compelling and insightful.
@Mycroft – I just watched the movie “Hillbilly Elegy”, it was good enough. A Ron Howard movie.
J.D. Vance was interviewed by Viva Frei and Robert Barnes. I thought it was a good interview.

They are on Rumble as well.
It’s on my Kindle; got it for free. Haven’t read it yet, though.
“I am born and raised SE Ohio and vance isn’t one of us.”
Cadiz and New Philadelphia can arguably be included in the Appalachian foothills-second cousins to real hillbillies.
Why doesn’t “Hillbilly Elegy” ring true for you?
Is JD Vance a fake Southerner like BJ Clinton?
Cadiz and New Philly ARE Appalachian! Not a knock, I love those places. If anything, they might be more Western PA in character than Southern Ohio (if you’re thinking about south of Columbus).
The north-south dividing line is I70. Cadiz and New Philly are def NOT real hillbillies, esp New Philly. They’re up north with me. Heck, they’re nearly North Coasters. We are hoopies and proud of it! lol
“Cadiz and New Philly are def NOT real hillbillies…”
This is why “second-cousins” was my word choice.
Upon reflection, I am going with TC’s definition of “Western PA”.
👍 exactly…. Seo myself..
I was raised across the state line in IN and found the book kinda fake—a sort of glorification of what was actually a mainstream mid-20th-century boyhood as “hillbilly” because “hillbilly” (or the study of them in an “anthropological way”) was becoming a thing. I didn’t see anything particularly hillbilly about it, so it kinda bothered me that he was labeling the way most of us were raised at the time in that area as something….”exotic,” I guess you’d say. It was so so normal that it was actually kinda cliche.’
Maybe it was because he felt more at home in Kentucky where his family was from.
That is what the library is for. Your taxes hard at work. Unless there’s a scamdemic. Or it snows.
Check your library, you can also ask the library to purchase it.
From my experience, especially in times of extreme danger, someone doesn’t have to be a “one of us” me to be the champion/life guard I need.
Example? President Trump.
My polling place in Ohio was quite busy. But then again, there were about 15 precincts represented. I didn’t have to wait, as they had about 20 booths. But it was a steady stream.
A disturbing number of people voting had masks on. A higher proportion of voters versus poll workers wore masks. This bodes well, I would think, for DeWine winning this area.
I waited in the car after driving someone to vote there a couple hours after I voted. It was interesting to note that many of the mask wearers walked to or away from a Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, etc.
The Red Badge of
Courageliberalhood.Here in northeast Ohio…
I live in a very conservative area and there were 10 to 1 signs for Trump in 2020. The turnout today was busy but no long lines. There was a school levy on the ballot that brought a lot of voter out too.
I didn’t see any masks today. People around here for the most part hate masks. But when the mandates were in place there were masks everywhere. I finally came to the conclusion that although the people here are conservative and voted for President Trump, they are rule-followers.
Never wore a mask outside the hospital where they had me over the barrel
bingo
Same here.

Looks like Bannon was correct about MAGA splitting the votes for MAGA allowing Dolan to take significant lead.
They do it to themselves every time.
Starting at the top (RNC) down, the Republicans have no leadership, no plan, and no desire except to suckle on the 2nd teat of the governments’ udders
by design
I’m in NW suburban Indianapolis. Based on the signs, it looks like the biggest race is Republican Sheriff contest.
It seems I’ve been redistricted out of the Victoria Spartz district. I don’t really care for her anyway.
We need to leave the RNC to the Corporatist and Left wing Nut Jobs to the DNC and start the MAGA people party!!

Vance is now leading the pack with 27%.
Do you need a majority (ie second round) to win or is the winner whoever has the most votes on the day even if that is only 30%?
Whoever has the most votes is the winner. No runoff in Ohio.
Thanks coaster
Nerve wrecking.
I voted today on one of my OH county’s newly purchased, (right after the Biden win, with our tax dollars, I presume) Dominion machines. Virtually no one was there to vote when I was there.
Dominion doesn’t need voters.
Vance leading now but only by a couple thousand votes..as usual, conservatives split votes…
I just looked at some of the big counties. They are not in much at all yet and that is where Dolan is doing much better than Vance.
I mean yeah, it’s the same episode of “The! Fake! Election! Show!” ( said in audience unison) over and over again. I am not only no longer surprised at all, but I’m also bored of watch and don’t even care anymore.
When younger I used to be frustrated about LatinAmerica and didn’t understand how every one of those places could be so blatantly corrupt and no one cared. Now, I get it and regret all my low civic-related opinions of folks in those places. They never had a chance and neither do we.
It is at first deflating and dispiriting when you truly, truly accept reality. I mean really accept it, deep down to your soul, removing even that little glimmer of hope you’re wrong. But then, it is wonderfully freeing, a gift from God for sure. It isn’t about giving up, no. It is about being able to plan and strategize in a context where you can actually make plans that have a real chance to achieve results; a real chance because they are truly based in reality.
When I think of people who are both living in reality and also fighting hard, I think of. Catherine Engelbrecht and the folks at True the Vote. I think of Sundance and the CTH team. I think of Elon Musk recently. I think of Gov. DeSantis, to some extent. That’s about it.
I love me some President Trump but it is TBD to be seen if he can operate in true reality. As we all know, he has only recently, after his Presidential experience, gained the necessary experience and perspective to understand how bad the real situation is and the extent of what the reality of the time demands.
Projecting ones own naivete onto President Trump is quite common.
In reality, he’s been waiting for you and the rest of Americas good hearted normies to Wake Up and start seeing what he’s seen for a looong time.
Obviously, he couldn’t just tell normies everything without triggering “shoot the messenger” reactions.
He had to arrange for people to start seeing and figuring things out for themselves.
Hence Operation Drain the Swamp to gradually reveal what’s been hidden (deliberately) beneath the surface.
For most people, you can’t tell them. You must show them and let them experience reality before the “get it”.
Also, its only when on a real precipice that most people find the motivation to make life saving changes.
AA calls this “hitting rock bottom”. The change now or die moment.
Thank God President Trump is so Loving Dad patient and sacrificial.
Conservatives are SO stupid
Townhall has just called the governor’s race for RINO DeWine.
Disappointing but not surprising, unfortunately! All the RINOs know how to talk the talk during the campaign – too bad none of them ever seem to actually walk it once they are elected!
Is mandel the turtles boy?
Not sure, but Cruz campaigned for him.
Cruz, one of “the turtles boys” campaigned for one of “the turtles candidates”. Shocker!
This 2022 OH Senate primary battle is Establishment Mafia Mitchs latest version of his failed 2015/16 splitter strategy.
Mitch asset, Cruz, was a player in both Vote Splitter operations. Hopefully both will fail and Trump will triumph. Again.
Nope. He is his own man.
New here?
When ready to start waking up and savvying up please check Sundances archived research into Cruz. Especially articles originally posted in 2015. Primary sources and links are included.
Very eye opening. Much appreciated. Even 6 plus years later.
Enjoy!!!
He is supposedly a Portman fan. I’d supported him before and was seriously considering voting for him until I found out he respected and admired Portman.
I only switched my vote to Vance recently from Mandel. And we went to his rally a week ago featuring General Flynn! But when I got notice he was having another rally with TED CRUZ, it gave me pause.
Honestly, I would have been fine with either Mandel or Vance at this point. I just really resent Vance’s bullcrap about us Trump supporters as late as ’19.
We show God how we want Him to forgive us. How? By how we forgive others.
Live and learn. Pharisee Saul to St Paul. Made possible by mercy and forgiveness.
Btw Sauls epiphany happened while he was headed to Damascus to kill Christians.
Actions: Worse than mean words. Time span: days versus years.
Mandel is definitely “the turtles boy”.
I am a sucker for a good story and JD Vance has one. As he gets older I hope he gets wiser. By and large he realizes the Communist Party USA – the Democrats – want to destroy America.
If that’s all he gets that’s plenty good enough for me because Romney, McConnell. McCarthy et al are just plain dirty scum.
It’s really difficult to get excited about any of this.
Fortunately many Americans have absolutely no difficulty getting excited by all of this.
Hearts darkened by emotional poisons, as Christ pointed out, block His Joy full presence and distorts Reality.
Vance is pulling away up by 5%
What stands out in the Ohio results is not who is winning – the GOPe manipulation is so blatant it slaps one in the face – but who is voting – Republican vs Democrat is nearly 2 to 1, with nearly twice as many Republicans voting as Democrats.
Not certain what that says – are the Democrats not motivated? Are the Republicans more motivated than the Democrats?
Who can say?
Certainly not me!
Since we here in Ohio can request either an R or D ballot, my fear is that many of the D’s are voting on the R ballot since the big race for Senator is already decided to be Ryan. So maybe they are going to mess with the Republican ballot by voting against Vance to try and hurt President Trump. That might account for there being more R’s than D’s.
I have to admit that in 2008 I voted Democrat since McCain was already the nominee for the R’s. I voted for Hillary to try and stop Obama.
In hindsight, not a bad decision…Hillary is evil but she is also stupid and incompetent. Obama is Marxist evil and the people behind him are even worse! Everything that is happening now is because of events set in motion and people put into place during his first, and especially second, term!
in a one on one smarts contest both obama and clinton would lose
it would be like that long ago “toilet bowl” contest between Oregon and Oregon State that ended in a 0-0 tie
I think youse is spot on.
You’re prob correct. Forgot about that.
It’s going to be great fun to hear the Vance-Ryan debates – remember Ryan in the 2020 primaries?
Ryan is my Rep – he must accept my emails and phone calls, being a constituent. This is going to be soooo much fun!
“Republican vs Democrat is nearly 2 to 1, with nearly twice as many Republicans voting as Democrats.”
Dead Democrats will show up in great numbers during the general election and propel their candidates to victory.
It’s shocking anyone would vote for a democrat
This just made my night (Ryan is my Rep). These weeks coming up are going to be great fun.
Vance wins.
Pretty sweet deal for the elites. You got Fox News Boomers voting establishment and whatever votes they may need to make up, the machines do the rest.
This might be too far in the Ohio political weeds for most but the Ohio GOPe machine is giddy and already planning for Husted to run with the pathetic Jay Hottinger as a ticket for Gov in 4 years.
They’re elated with DeRINO.
They love Matt Dolan, too.
Blystone voters are dumber than a bag of hammers. You allowed this.
As for Renacci, just not aggressive enough but the whole damn machine was against him in Ohio. So there’s that.
It’s a sham and sad and no wonder why people move out of Ohio, but Les Wexner makes bank, so that’s great, right?
“ As for Renacci, just not aggressive enough but the whole damn machine was against him in Ohio. So there’s that.”
Mandel and Renacci are exactly what Ohio needs but will never get.
I continue to marvel at the naïveté of Ohio Republicans.
Little Joe Blystone is on trial for $230,000 worth of voter donation fraud but vote for that clown so DeRINO wins and Ohio sinks deeper into the gutter.
Sad.
Rich Baris is a very good pollster.
President Trump could have had Dewine gone but he choose not to endorse either Candidate for Governor.
😡😡😡 Dewine snubbed him so many times and Dewine is as bad as Romney. Straight rhino
..
Yet president Trump endorses JD Vance who on record trashed him and said he would vote for Hillary Clinton before He would President Trump…
Scratching my head . Seems swampy to me… 🤷🏼♂️😡😡😡
Be curious to see what President Trump does in other states.
To say I’m not pi’s…..off is an understatement…
Would love SD thoughts…
There was noooooooooo reason he couldn’t have endorsed a candidate for Governor ..
After he endorsed HD Vance ……….. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…😡😡😡😡
🤷🏼♂️
I never understood why President Trump didn’t endorse in the Governor’s race. I voted for Renacci but I never thought he ran a good campaign in 2018 when he ran for Senate after Mandel dropped out. Someone on here said that President Trump asked Renacci to drop his plans to run for Governor back then and take over for Mandel in the Senate race. You would think Trump would have repaid his loyalty by endorsing him this time.
My suspicion is Trump knew the polling results in Ohio in regards to DeRINO and just couldn’t take that dive off the diving board
That would be me and President Trump was on TV saying all he said about Renacci and being the first on the Trump Train!
Thank you for voting for Renacci. He was my Rep and a good one for his constituents and endorsed by the Tea Party. He got an A+ on immigration from NumbersUSA. I still send faxes to Congress through them.
President Trump continues to surround himself with Republican squishes and then seems surprised when they stab his back.
Hate to say it, but I gotta go along with this one.
Hold your horses the RINOs Ballot Mules have not done their thing!
It appears that Dewine wins another term . I do not believe it . I have not spoken to even one friend or family member that voted for him . I am moving out of this horrible state .
Honest question if ya live in Ohio and think if President Trump would have endorsed either candidate for Governor Dewine would be gone…
👀👀👀👀👀👀
I’m absolutely certain he would be and shoulda been.
Held my tongue voted Vance..
Just like the reply if ya agree or comment . 🤷🏼♂️
I soooo wanted Dewine gone….
Me too.
So sorry to hear… I’m in MI, near toledo, so you are my sister state. I dont know much about the other candidates though, but feel your pain nonetheless.
very awful what’s happening…
Did you read all the political flyers and emails that came in your mail and/or email? Vance had flyers out the day Pres Trump endorsed him trumpeting the President’s endorsement all over them, both sides, in big letters and with pictures.
Renacci seem to distance himself from the President, and none of the flyers or emails I received from Renacci ever mentioned Pres Trump.
So, there ya go. Especially after Pres Trump endorsed Renacci when Renacci ran for Senate.
No loyalty given, none returned.
I never got a single Renacci flyer but the mailbox was routinely stuffed with JD Vance endorsements.
Either Renacci was underfunded or he just didn’t have the requisite fire in his belly.
I wish him well and would buy a car from one of his dealerships but his political career seems to be at an end.
Matt Dolan will be the candidate for US Senate vs Bad Perm Sherrod Brown in a couple years.
Husted the human Ken doll will run for Gubnor.
Renacci, you are correct,is as done as Ron Klain after eating 23 Kreme stick donuts.
Mandel should consider another run for state Treasurer or Cuyahoga County Commissioner.
Jane Timken can go run the Canton Museum of Art.
Mike Gibbons will move to Florida and retire.
Things are not right when more people vote against someone than vote for him and he still wins.
Ugh. Dewine.
To recap the highlights of tonight’s elections…
1. No matter who wins, you loose.
2. Suddenly votes count THIS TIME though nothing has changed. (Also see highlight 1)
If you can’t laugh at this stuff you’ll probably end up starting a revolt.
3. It’s a Big Club and you ain’t in it.
“No matter who wins, you loose (sic).”
Politics has always been a zero-sum game. This is why civil government should be severely restricted in its course of action.
Retired Magistrate here: DeWine has name recognition in the State of Ohio. A lot of people voted for him because of that and unfortunately many voters in the more populated areas of the State voted for him because they think he did a great job protecting them from the curse of covid.
I believe President Trump did not endorse either Renacci or Blystone because he knew neither one of them could beat DeWine because having two candidates run against DeWine split the vote. Also, Renacci is known in northern Ohio but not Central or Southern Ohio. The rural areas voted for Blystone but not the voter rich metropolitan areas.
So I am not surprised that DeWine won the Republican nomination. The only saving grace is that our legislature stripped a lot of power from him with regard to covid. The area we live in is governed by very conservative County Commissioners who stated that they would not shut our county down again when DeWine stated that is what he wanted. It really does depend on what township or county you live in a particular state.
We voted for Vance; hopefully that will turn out well. I was impressed that he admitted he was wrong and has tried to make amends. Didn’t want Mandel or Gibbons because they are both hot heads and almost got into a fist fight at a debate and both want a no fly zone over Ukraine; not a good idea. Was not a fan of the other candidates. My husband and I have talked about moving to another state; however, at our age it is difficult to leave the State where you have spent your entire life, have friends, and most importantly with our health issues, doctors who will treat us. So we intend to make the best of the years we have left here in Ohio.
Good info-thank you
Thanks for your observations, Marcia — I live in NE Ohio, and I think your assessment is pretty on target. Especially your take on Mandel and Gibbons being too hot headed, and Vance admitting he was wrong, and worth a chance. I felt the same way.
I was disappointed that President Trump did not endorse either Renacci or Blystone — they are both running fairly close to each other, but I think a Trump endorsement of either would have rocketed that person ahead the way it happened for Vance. But I agree about DeWine’s name recognition — without a Trump endorsement, people here tend to vote for familiar names. It makes it hard to beat an incumbent here. Even with a big scandal, didn’t the state Speaker of the House get re-elected? Crazy…
It sounds like you have a great Legislature, Marcia.
What a shame that you can’t get a great Gov. to go along w/ that.
Sounds like a LOT more Grassroots activism was needed in Ohio to educate the voters.
No we don’t – they did a little, not a lot.
Thank you, Marcia! Good info on DeWine – hopefully the County Commissioners will continue to keep him in check!
We are in the same boat in Washington State – both born and raised here. Our friends, our family, our church, our doctors, basically everything we have known is here. Maybe if we were younger we would consider packing up and starting over but neither of us feel like we would have the strength or energy to start over…and with the current price of real estate, if we left, we would never be able to afford to come back!
Very wise!
PDJTs endorsement is Gold Standard.
IMO none of the three running for Governor deserved the endorsement.
Great night overall for PDJTs picks.
“The only saving grace is that our legislature stripped a lot of power from him with regard to covid.”
The legislature has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to override a DeWine veto. They will hold his feet to the fire if he wins re-election.
Information on Michigan? The local papers have nothing…
Try this.

Trump should have endorsed Jim Renacci…I hope an endorsement is forthcoming in the Pennsylvania gubernatorial primary.
I’m very happy that in Congressional District 1 in Indiana Jennifer Ruth Green won by a landslide over six other candidates. She’s pro-life, Christian, black and a 20-year veteran. I’ve met her. Impressive woman. I think she has a chance to unseat the Dem in November. That’s been a Dem seat for years, in a county known for Dem corruption –in a red state.
I say suffer unto thee. And reap your sewn fruit.
Good on the Vance win. They will put whiny-axx Canada Ted in his place.

Bars is sharp.
I am not voting for Dewhine in the general. No longer will I support governance by people who play the uni-party game.
23% voted for Little Joe Blystone.
That’s how Liddle Mikey DeRINO won.
Sad.
