Fox News host Tucker Carlson opened his broadcast today highlighting the background of the Disney Corporation weaponizing their corporate advocacy to target politicians in Florida.
Disney has said they wanted to advance sexuality lessons in their media empire and support sexualizing children in public schools K-3. The Disney Corporation has now made it part of their corporate mission to sexualize children; there is quite a backlash taking place,and the value of Disney has dropped dramatically.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has taken a strong position against Disney’s expressed intent and appeared on Tucker Carlson to explain. WATCH:

I’m not that old and I remember when multi-national corporations, like Disney, did not get involved in political matters. What the hell has happened?
The governor said it best. Left cannot get woke agenda pass voters so they threaten or leverage corporations to advocate for their cause.

Disney made several mistakes. Primarily it advocated for the state to put itself between children and their parents. The eft hasn’t succeeded in utterly destroying the institution of family and the innocence of childhood yet. It then chose to become a political activist organization using its wealth and voice to affect political change wherever the left pointed it. It then gave voice and sustenance to the sexual deviance of some of its employees rather than wisely remaining neutral. Disney thought it was untouchable and beyond criticism or consequences. It is a brand built on entertainment children and it abused the trust of the parents that allowed it into their homes.. I 100% agree. I work in the GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) industry. Companies midsize to large utilize an Enterprise wide software platform for all of the companies different regulatory compliance needs. In the past year, the majority of these platforms have added an ESG module to their software. When I noticed that addition, I thought to myself, “just one more nail to the coffin”

I have been wondering the exact same thing about the other governors? Why aren’t they doing the same type of things in their states? Why didn’t any of them stand up for Trump after he was cheated out of the Presidency? The very least they could have done is lawyered him up and gave him their word of support. DeSantis is supporting Floridians on many fronts but he is not Donald J Trump.
Most “RepubliCON” Governors are heavily vetted by the RNC. If you will recall, Trump got in behind DeSantis fairly early and endorsed him in what was thought to be a tight race. Trump was the President at the time, or the RNC would have supported Desantis’ challenger (whoever that was).
Thus, Trump’s endorsement of Governor DeSantis allowed him to escape the RNC “vetting” process meant to eliminate uppity Governors like him.

A Convention of States would be comprised of a group of people meeting behind closed doors that get to decide whether the U.S. keeps its current Constitution, changes its current Constitution, or throws out our Constitution and puts a new Constitution in altogether. Yup, lawyers who work for lobbyists who work for corporate America and other special interests write the ‘laws’, particularly those which will benefit their clients. Legislators and executives are massaged to add them to the ‘see it’s legal’ ledger. In extreme instances, and over time, that’s how we get ‘three felonies a day’. Someone else benefits from targeting the innocent, mostly lawyers. America.
I read yesterday about a new law in TN where one, if convicted of DUI in the death of the parent of a minor child becomes responsible for child support for that child. No other killing of a child’s parent, just DUI. Why is that? Who benefits? Who paid to have that law written and passed? Follow the money, it always tells the truth.
I pray for the Lord to expose those who are doing evil, and he does. I also pray for the lord to turn those people away from that evil, and turn towards him.
Disney has been exempt from any property taxes in Florida since 1968 and hasn’t paid any school taxes. It takes balls as big as the Liberty Bell to preach to Florida’s taxpayers how and what their public schools should teach when you don’t pay a dime to support them!
Perhaps outdated but my takeaway from education decades ago was teachers and tutors, the humans, taught the skills of thinking, analyzing, problem solving, comprehending, stuff like that. The books and materials provided information and knowledge.
Later, as an apprentice, even though I went to college, I worked under a journeyman to learn the skills of my craft; sure, there were books and manuals and all the knowledge but it was that human interpretation, example and guideance that melded the book knowledge of engineering with the practical skills of manufacturing, diagnosis and service.
I kept my father’s slide rule as a reminder. It’s just a thing, inconsequential to most, but in the hands of a master it helped put men on the moon. Things are important. Humans are important. Disney should have been closed down permanently for admitting their evil intent against children and all those responsible up and down the chain should be in jail right now without bail.
The teachers teaching such perversion should have been immediately fired and thrown in jail for a minimum of five years for attempting to corrupt children — and barred from ever teaching again anywhere in the USA.

I think the drop we’ve seen is just the beginning. As more parents become aware of Disney’s corporate mission: Wokeness and child abuse, we’ll see the stock really tank. Fewer visitors to their theme parks, fewer subs to the channels, fewer buyers of their merchandise all lead to lower stock price. Then the Board of Directors will be changed, and the people pushing this agenda will be terminated.
How could Disney not know their perverse agenda would cause an uproar from Mr. and Mrs. America? Just yesterday I went to buy grass fed beef at a farm stand where the owner’s also went to the same Byzantine Rite Catholic church I went to. We cherish the sharing of the Slovak recipes around the holiday, but yesterday, somehow, our conversation turned to what we experienced in our Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) classes we had to take before first Holy Communion. The conversation took some turns and twists, but I said sometimes “I worry that I am suppressing memories of being sexually abused.” My friend said her brother used to jump out the window and run away during these 0classes, as he was traumatized by them too. She said she would not have her daughter go through the same indoctrination.
I think I was five or six when I took those classes. Certainly left a lasting impression on my entire being well into my sixties. I guess I just learned you can feel “abused” by what teachings people who are “teacher’s” send your way.
The whole world I grew up in has flipped over. Instead of teaching kids that really don’t understand the concept of sexuality in the Catholic Church that they are EVIL (for just being born as a male or a female), they are trying to teach kids younger than I was with another sort of indoctrination.
How can you teach a person who has not yet entered puberty ANYTHING about sexuality? You can’t! But you CERTAINLY are going to traumatize them for the rest of their lives if you try to indoctrinate them into what I believe is another CULT belief system where ANYTHING GOES when it comes to sexuality. I don’t even want to think about what the purpose of this whole agenda is.

I’m not Catholic and am not familiar with the classes of which you are referring. What happened and what age did they take place? Do all Catholics go through this?
I’m in the poster’s age range and had 12 years of Catholic private education, communion, confirmation, Latin mass, all that stuff, and I don’t remember that at all, or priests diddling kids. No doubt it went on, and I did experience some approaches from brothers (the clergy kind) who taught in high school, but that’s about it.
I guess I was “lucky” to draw this card in my life. Think it was the priest that had an axe to grind.

A couple weeks ago, I saw only 300K out of 82 million subscribers to Disney channel, et.al. took place. The reference was this is why we are losing. I don’t know if the number of cancelations has grown since, I guess it’s a wait and see.
Getting cable packages prevents you from selecting or deselecting a channel. And you don’t cancel with Disney, you cancel with your cable company. (Or drop down to minimum service.)
There are online pay services that can be canceled without losing other services.
Looks like the combination of inflation and political activism by corporations may come back to bite them in the butt. I wonder what a mass dissolution of retirement accounts, largely invested in equities, would do.

The brief clips of the MSNBC talking heads was (I think), extremely instructive. It seemed like everything they were spouting in an effort to bash Desantis with was exactly what the Democrats and the ‘left’ were trying to accomplish in Florida, and everything that Desantis was trying to accomplish was the exact opposite. Liberalism is a mental disorder (thank you Michael Savage) , is more than just a catchy name for a book, as it turns out.
The answer that has never worked in the past to any issue is more government. Yet that is precisely what has taken place in FL at a breakneck speed thanks to Ron DeSantis.
The good news is he is expected to still be governor while the municipalities, counties and state attempt to split the baby they created long ago.
Disney being reduced to buy their positions from politicians like every other run of the mill development company will certainly enrich the political coffers of the few at the expense of the many.

Did anyone catch Jenna Ellis on Twitter defending Disney saying this was a free speech issue and that she would help defend them in court? Free Speech??? Trying to interfere in Parents rights not to have sexuality rammed down their children’s throat from Kindergarten thru Third Grade is free speech? What happened to Jenna? She also stated that just because you don’t agree with their speech doesn’t mean Governor DeSantis can punish them by taking away their tax status. Did you know that under the previous agreement Disney had with the state they could even build nuclear power plants? The whole cut out that Disney had was ridiculous and needed to be reined in.

There is something more to this than appears on the surface that Desantis has on Disney- maybe some corruption on campaign contributions.
Could she besetting a trap for the Democrats to charge into litigation thinking they have DeSantis trapped as things appear on the surface, only to run into their own trap by suing that DeSantis is planning to expose like some corruption involving Disney’s

Disney hasn’t threatened litigation. Disney is so corrupt they generally don’t like to litigate high profile cases. If Disney wanted to sue they could have already have had time to file the papers for a temporary injunction before 5pm yesterday.
I strongly support Ron DeSantis and the Florida legislature dissolving the Reedy Creek Improvement District. I view its mere existence as corrupt and believe it should never have existed in the first place.
I strongly disagree with the people who claim that dissolving Reedy Creek will somehow make Orange and Osceola Counties the default owners of the infrastructure currently owned and maintained by Reedy Creek.
This overlooks the fact that it’s very common for neighborhoods to own their own roads, sidewalks, drainage systems, and other types of infrastructure.
It’s also common for private institutions like large corporate office campuses and private college campuses to also own their own infrastructure.
There is no reason why Disney can’t also own and maintain its own infrastructure instead of having it automatically unload onto the public taxpayers upon the dissolution of Reedy Creek.
Disney should be compelled to inherit and maintain the infrastructure currently owned and maintained by Reedy Creek. After all, that infrastructure exists for the benefit of Disney and Reedy Creek is a de facto extension of Disney.
Orange and Osceola Counties should refuse to inherit any of the infrastructure currently owned and maintained by Reedy Creek unless there is a clear benefit to their citizens and it can be owned and maintained without losing money and being a burden on taxpayers.
Any nearby communities such as Kissimmee or Orlando should refuse to annex any land containing any infrastructure currently owned and maintained by Reedy Creek if that would cause them to inherit responsibility for maintaining that infrastructure unless there is a clear benefit to their citizens.
Orange and Osceola Counties, the state of Florida, and any nearby community should also refuse to inherit any debt owned by Reedy Creek. There is no reason for public, taxpayer funded entities to inherit the debt racked up by a special district that operates solely for the benefit of a private corporation.
The debt owned by Reedy Creek may very well have been racked up by Disney on purpose as a poison pill to prevent a hostile takeover or dissolution.
All of the news and commentary about Orange and Osceola Counties having to inherit the infrastructure and debt of Reedy Creek are likely talking points being fed by Disney to fuel opposition to dissolving Reedy Creek.
The dissolution of Reedy Creek needs to be implemented in a way that is most beneficial to the citizens and taxpayers of Florida and local jurisdictions around Disney.
“I believe we have the strength in numbers on our side” DeSantis hit the US bullseye! Majority of Americans want to live in reality, raise their families and live in peace.
The picture of Mickey doesn’t convey the message quite like those phallic symbols inserted into Disney’s own illustrations. Use them. Make people see what “grooming” really is!
