Currently, Salazar waves the Ukraine flag while demanding war against Russia.
In short, Representative Salazar is a Bonafide Chamber of Commerce/Wall Street Republican who hides behind the shields of gender and race when challenged on her political advocacy. If that is the case, why aren’t we supporting Syria against the almost nightly bombings from Israel, supporting Yemen from the attacks from Saudi Arabia, and all the other places where evilness happens that we ignore?

I have a bit of a different take on whether Carlson “destroyed” Salazar. First, I agree with the positions established by Sundance on this created crisis in Ukraine. The following comments just address a potential reasoning line for Salazar and those who recommend further support for Ukraine.
This is my take on her Ukraine position: We can give Ukraine more armaments and make the leap to furnishing fighter planes. Putin has not yet said he considers the already provided US military aid an “act of war”, so we are betting this additional aid will not be considered an “act of war” with Russia. I think this is a fair position. Putin is only going to shoot those jets down anyway or capture the airfield holding them. I also think it is a fair question by Carlson to test this position. Then it devolves into “nuclear war” risk. Tucker asks for a precise probability estimate for such an event. What is Salazar supposed to say: the Committee thinks there is a 28.6% probability of nuclear holocaust, up from 19.8%? I think the Committee did evaluate this, and they are ok with recommending more armaments. (I disagree with that, but that is not what I am saying here.) Remember, Sundance has said this will be a long war, bleeding Ukraine a lot, Russia a little, and the US and other western countries to the extent they fund this resistance. Only the Industrial Military Complex wins in this. And the Dems, they wanted this crisis. Tucker, and no one else, is willing to recommend cutting the aid to Ukraine, force Ukraine to a negotiated solution with a neutralize Ukraine (no entry into EU/NATO), and/or split Ukraine giving the eastern third to Russia and the rest remains Ukraine. There is no good solution to this crisis.
On to immigration. I have not read Salazar’s “comprehensive” bill on this. It sounds like the bill has a plan to seal the border; remember the US/Mex border was effectively sealed under DJT, so it can be done. Once this is done, we can grant some form of amnesty for those who have been here 5+ years, have jobs, no criminal record, etc. The others get moved back to where they came from. All the criminals are deported. This sounds pretty close to what was almost done under Trump then blew up. These people are all in our country largely because our government let them in, even encouraged them. Shame on us. Tucker foolishly presents the proposal to deploy US troops to the border. And he expects a confirming answer to that proposal. Salazar already has a plan to seal the border in her bill. Why would she entertain Tucker’s proposal?
Bottom line: Salazar won the debate. She was articulate. Tucker was a bit pompous.
Finally, I like Tucker’s show and I think his positions are serving to educate a lot of people on what is really going on. Kudos to him. I will continue to view his show and wish him the best. He has my prayers because of the blowback and threats he and his family get from the crazy left.
there is one good solution to the crisis. agreement of NO NATO for ukraine. recognize independence of the eastern provinces to be governed as they wish. do that and it ends immediately

Providing weapons is a covert act of war. Germany thought so twice when it sank the Lusitania during WW I and numerous sinking of American merchant ships carrying war material prior to America’s entry into WW II. Supplying weapons and supplies of war has always been considered participating in war. The British thought so when France joined the United States in the our war for independence. The French joined the war and fulfilled the promised fleet at Yorktown, thus leading the British to sue for peace.
The thing is that the calls for material support has its perils. A careful study of history shows that it often doesn’t go according to the grand intentions of those who support it.
