In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the JoeBama Administration and Presidency.
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”
This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.

Real cost of electric vehicles
Do your own match and research buuuuuutttttt here is truth about EV
This needs to go VIRAL!!
REALITY CHECK –
In case you were thinking of buying hybrid or an electric car…

Update: you might not like this article or it’s origins, it might not even be 100% accurate, BUT it is an important topic to discuss. To debate. To analyze.

Ever since the advent of electric cars, the REAL cost per mile of those things has never been discussed. All you ever heard was the mpg in terms of gasoline, with nary a mention of the cost of electricity to run it.
At a neighborhood BBQ I was talking to a neighbor, a BC Hydro Executive. I asked him how that renewable thing was doing. He laughed, then got serious.
If you really intend to adopt electric vehicles, he pointed out, you had to face certain realities. For example, a home charging system for a Tesla requires 75 amp service. The average house is equipped with 100 amp service. On our small street (approximately 25 homes), the electrical infrastructure would be unable to carry more than three houses with a single Tesla each. For even half the homes to have electric vehicles, the system would be wildly over-loaded.
This is the elephant in the room with electric vehicles. Our residential infrastructure cannot bear the load. So, as our genius elected officials promote this nonsense, not only are we being urged to buy these things and replace our reliable, cheap generating systems with expensive new windmills and solar cells, but we will also have to renovate our entire delivery system! This later “investment” will not be revealed until we’re so far down this dead end road that it will be presented with an ‘OOPS…!’ and a shrug.
If you want to argue with a green person over cars that are eco-friendly, just read the following. Note: If you ARE a green person, read it anyway. It’s enlightening.
Eric test drove the Chevy Volt at the invitation of General Motors and he writes, “For four days in a row, the fully charged battery lasted only 25 miles before the Volt switched to the reserve gasoline engine.” Eric calculated the car got 30 mpg including the 25 miles it ran on the battery. So, the range including the 9-gallon gas tank and the 16 kwh battery is approximately 270 miles.
It will take you 4.5 hours to drive 270 miles at 60 mph. Then add 10 hours to charge the battery and you have a total trip time of 14.5 hours. In a typical road trip your average speed (including charging time) would be 20 mph.
According to General Motors, the Volt battery holds 16 kwh of electricity. It takes a full 10 hours to charge a drained battery. The cost for the electricity to charge the Volt is never mentioned, so I looked up what I pay for electricity.
I pay approximately (it varies with amount used and the seasons) $1.16 per kwh. 16 kwh x $1.16 per kwh = $18.56 to charge the battery. $18.56 per charge divided by 25 miles = $0.74 per mile to operate the Volt using the battery. Compare this to a similar size car with a gasoline engine that gets only 32 mpg. $3.19 per gallon divided by 32 Mpg = $0.10 per mile.
The gasoline powered car costs about $25,000 while the Volt costs $46,000 plus. So the Government wants us to pay twice as much for a car, that costs more than seven times as much to run, and takes three times longer to drive across the country.
WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!!….copied from John Koth
Indeed, they are unworkable at every level. That’s the point. They don’t want us to have private transport of any sort. Oh and another point is the bloated taxpayer grants given to Dem donors for bogus “research and development”
Public transport for all and freedom for none.
Been trying to force people into public transportation since the early 70’s.
Time to revive those bullet train projects. The land development group affiliated with Harry Reid was set to make a fortune on the LA-Vegas bullet train. 10% to Reid?
Remember “you can keep your own insurance”

Thank you!
That why they want gasoline at $10/gal! When that happens it will cost me $350 to fill up my F150! What that means is I won’t be taking any trips and I will be forced to stay at home. A round trip of just only 1200 miles will cost over $700 just for gas!!! Exorbitant gasoline prices are just another form of control by the Democrats!
. . . and the Republicans!
I’m getting ready to cancel a trip I’ve been planning and excited about for over 2 months because of f-ing Brandon jacking the gas prices. I’m absolutely livid!!!
Better go now than later. Prices aren’t going down.
I agree. Go and have one helluva great time. Make some wonderful memories. Document it well. This may actually be the last chance in a long time you can do so, even at these gas prices.
Now it’s accurate
“Exorbitant gasoline prices are just another form of control by” politicians
This is the new WEF 2023 SUV
think about the airplanes and gas…..no one will be able to afford a plane ticket to anywhere.
All by design!
At 40 mpg, that 1,200 mile trip in my VW Cabriolet would set me back $300. Even if we all got fuel efficient vehicles look for the Demonrats to suddenly demand everyone carry golden parachute auto insurance policies AND for the Demonrats to demand auto insurance companies insure drunk drivers.
Watch for Demonrats to insist on everyone carrying fire and theft, collision and rental car. I’m waiting for our socially awoke betters to tell us how unfair it is for ANYONE to be precluded from driving. DUIs, unpaid non moving violations, reckless driving, speeding, multiple accidents etc etc. We will have to all share the cost for those with no self control.
Sounds a bit like ObamaCare don’t it?
We have a whole sub culture crossing our borders every day decade after decade.
Lot of drunk drivers among the so called undocumented.
Now they want contraptions installed in vehicles to monitor your alcohol blood level, to prevent drunk driving. Coming soon.
The real problem is the economic ramification to the rest of the economy when people stop driving. No vacations, no trips to a far away restaurant or shop. Recession would be just around the corner.
Exactly! But I believe we’re trending towards a severe depression, the recession will be just a speed bump on the way!
Sherry, This excellent information. My father was a Nuclear Physicist at the Labs in Livermore CA for his entire 25 year career. He was also had an excellent background in Chemistry. My father always stated in layman’s terms the thought experiment (fact) about the story of the 1 Gallon gas can. The amount of energy that resides in that one gallon of gas –that can drive a small car 70 mph for 30 miles cannot be surpassed by any other known energy source at this juncture in our knowledge. It is simply fundamental Chemistry and Physics. Gasoline is the best and I want to emphasize the most efficient energy source to drive our vehicle transportation needs.
Thank you for that jett. These dumb green people don’t take into consideration what they will do with all the spent batteries either. They certainly cant dump them in a landfill. And this batteries will be spent quickly. The cost of new batteries is also very high. If one charge only gets you 25 miles I can’t even get to the closest town which is 30 miles away. Guess I’ll have to get a couple of mules and a wagon and spend the day going to town.
Yes, 80+ percent of a modern internal combustion automobile is recyclable. Lithium batteries are not. Look at the strides they’ve made with modern transmissions. I have a friend with a new GMC 6.2 liter V8 pick up. At 80 mph down the highway he’s only turning 1800 rpm’s. That engine will last 300K miles. It can be rebuilt for $5000-$7000 or melt it down to cast a new one. Buy electric and you are throwing good money at bad and fooling yourself if you think you’re being environmentally sensitive.
actually, the raw materials in a LiNeon battery ARE recyclable and there are businesses spooling up to do just that…watched a program about one in NV last week with increasing sales
Yes Sherry, I also like to point out where they get the batteries, when talking to greenies. Strip mining for lithium in places like Canada and Ukraine. I can feel the sea levels rising just thinking about it 🤣
Straws. disposable diapers and batteries . . .
In all fairness, you are leaving out pure electric cars. Probably everyone of them can go 100 miles without a re-charge and many are closing in on 150 – 200 miles on a single charge. Even the Volt can get you over 300 miles because that 1st 25 miles is on the batteries alone and then the 1.4 liter gas motor takes over.
Very excellent point!
My dear friend from Louisiana who was a mechanical engineer (in plastics/petrochemical industries) was very aggravated about the foolishness in the 2000’s re making fuel from corn was such a big wasteful lot of nonsense: they were taking something from agriculture that was needed/used for livestock as well as food products for humans, thereby impacting prices for those things plus there was so much useless waste . . . where on the other hand with petroleum every bit of it has an application.
He also did that hi-ball glass with the ice cubes whenever he ran into anyone at the watering hole who brought up glow-bull warming.
3 gallons of fresh (drinking) water used in the production of EACH gallon of ethanol….less energy output available than the energy used in its production…..corrosive to many common materials in a modern engine
Ethanol destroys the little plastic tubing on my lawn equipment. The Non ethanol gas option is 6 bucks a gallon at the Sunoco near my house on the way to the Coast.
That’s because ethanol is garbage.
Burning food is just another political scam IMO.
Try winning the Iowa caucus if you’re against ethanol.
Comparing the energy density of gasoline to the charge in a battery isn’t valid.
Most of the energy of gasoline (65-80%)used by internal combustion engine to power a car is lost to heat without preforming useful work.
Electricity is a refined form of energy. Most inefficiencies from it’s generation take place before it comes out of the outlet.
“Most inefficiencies from it’s generation take place before it comes out of the outlet.”
The consumer is still paying for those “inefficiencies” before the outlet anyway, correct?
yes, and your point is?
It’s still currently cheaper to move an EV using electricity brought and stored from the grid at my current electric rate ($0.107/kwh) than a car using gasoline if all things are equal like size, shape, mass, etc.
engineers use the term “energy density” to refer to this….there is simply no fuel source even close at this point with the same energy density as carbon-based fuels….Isn’t God great?……the biggest problem with EVs is their storage ability….they have been around since the dawn of the motor vehicle even before small internal combustion engines and diesels….it will probably take at least ANOTHER 100 years to get the battery problem for them solved
A gallon of diesel fuel will get you further than a gallon of gasoline.
Hilarious video about the absurdity of battery powered electric cars.
https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2021/09/are-electric-vehicles-a-joke.php
Do not pass over this above link – we can all use a good laugh.
Watch the video!!!!!! Still laughing!!!!
EVs are over-priced golf carts.
That’s just silly.
Take a Tesla for a test drive. The torque and acceleration will change your opinion.
Yeah, a couple of the drag and drive guys have them in the low 9’s, high 8’s with nothing more than weight reduction. Impressive. One guy made a joke of towing a diesel generator behind his to charge it as he drove between tracks.
For all their technology, which is impressive, there’s still an enormous amount of dino fuel in their construction and the energy which keeps that technology impressing.
Right. I have found that it is rare that anything is slam dunk perfect-there are always trade-offs. And there are a lot of trade-offs with today’s EV technology. If I ever got one I would lease because the cost of replacement batteries in their 4 or 5 year life is huge. When we get 100M EVs on the road where does all the electricity come from to charge and on long trips you not only will have to wait while your EV is being charged you’ll have to wait in line for charging station availability.
It seems to me, but what do I know, that some form of hybrid would be better. Charge your batteries with some sort of fossil fuel engine technology-new technology. At least up you range between charges from 200/300 miles to 500. Anyway, just a thought.
Replacing the Tesla batteries at $18,000 will change anybody opinion!
Batteries Not Included!
A contractor was on a local talk radio and said installing electric chargers in buildings would be astronomical for each unit, which would be unworkable for the chargers and cars per building.
What about an apartment complex that has hundreds of occupants,
couldn’t imagine that many charging stations in just one complex where would all that electricity come from in your average city.
Well the ignorant ones in the WH did not think of that one…….duh!!!
Honest question for fellow treepers, especially electrical engineers. Lets say you reside in Scottsdale, AZ and buy a Tesla. Why doesn’t Tesla manufacture and sell a solar collector/all in one kit that can be installed on the roof of your garage and charges your Tesla directly (Direct Connect to your Tesla) without the need to route your solar collector’s energy through the Public Utility’s Grid (APS or SRP in Phoenix area)? Would not a Direct Connect method from a solar collector on the roof of your garage directly to your Tesla truly be 100% renewable and practically free energy? Why can’t this method work?
return customer model
WB, I don’t understand your reply. BTW, I live in Indiana and will never own a Tesla.
any product that gives you more freedom doesnt make it to market.
. the current system winners are never going to let go of their politician control (oil and big tech),so they will disrupt and discourage any product that would make sense like your example.
Can this be true? The video certainly makes it look true, and there are other videos that show something similar, but it seems too good to be true.
Very good idea! But all this 100% renewable crap doesn’t take into account the batteries. What do you do with the old ones and the new ones are expensive.
“Renewable crap” is right!!!!!! WE DO NOT HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY!
It would take about 900 square feet of solar collector to power a 75 amp tesla charging station assuming 100 percent efficiency. And most people charge at night.
The typical efficiency for a CLEAN solar panel is 25%…they sell they windmills and solar at their rated maximum generating capacity which they NEVER get
The size of the solar panels needed may exceed the roof space on you’re garage. Also, you would only be able to drive at night.
It’s because to charge your car, you would have to cover your entire house, yard and driveway with solar panels. And only drive at night so you could charge during daylight hours.
It’s not a good look and kind of throws cold water on the “dream”.
Very good idea . . . yes, why not?
Would it be possible that the megalomaniac WEFNWO types would – if they could – control all the beautiful fresh air, sunshine and water!
Why aren’t Teslas covered in solar cells???
You can only use the sun when it is shining and panels are only generating when the sun is at the correct angle. The batteries do not provide as much power in cold weather and the sun doesn’t generate as much electricity when it is low in sky as it is in winter. In addition, solar panels require a lot of area. Each panel has a limit on the quantity of electricity per square foot. Dust reduces the efficiency and snow blocks them completely.
In the USA most homes built within the last 30 years or so have 200A service. Just an electric oven and an electric dryer running at the same time will use around 100A, at least when all the heat elements are on. The part about our electric infrastructure being woefully inadequate to support EV’s in every neighborhood is exactly the case. I’ve an Electrical Engineering degree and have pointed out this very fact many times over the years.
Where this missive goes off the rails is when the author quotes a price per kwh of $1.16. That’s about 8 times higher than most people will pay, and as much as 15 times higher when using off-peak prices in most areas of the country. So that math is way way off. Honestly, this sort of thing just makes those making rational arguments about the impracticality of modern EV’s harder because the other side can point to stuff like this and correctly point out the glaring errors.
Sausages, can you address my question upthread regarding solar power for Tesla?
Oscar. Electrician here. 75 amps is a lot. To get 75 amps from a home solar panel system…not feasible. Especially at night when you’d need it to charge
Were you typing too fast? NEC requires 4 wire 30 amp receptacle for an electric dryer and the appliance is limited to 80% circuit capacity so the dryer actually pulls around 24 amps at 240 VAC.
Range is 40/50amp @ 80% also. No where near 100 amp total.
True about the price per kwh NOW, but come July with dementia administration still in power that price may not be far off.
Thank you Baloney, you took the words out of my mouth but said it much better than I could.
There are plenty of rational arguments against 100% reliance on EVs, no need for crazy distortions and “THIS NEEDS TO GO VIRAL!!” crap.
And what happens when the electrical grid goes down? Or when a hurricane topples trees on the power lines? Or an electrical storm blows the transmitters?
Then the gasoline pumps stop and you learn to walk.
Sherry the price per kwh of $1.16 is not accurate. Look at your electric utIlity bill which lists kwh used and divide your total bill by this figure to get the price per kwh. The average retail electricity rate now is around $0.12 -$0.14 per kwh across the USA. California and east coast are higher but in no way over $1.
Agree about the price per kwh NOW, but come July with dementia administration still in power that price may not be far off.
Where I live in Oregon, we’re mostly hydro and the energy charge is 7 cents a kwh. I believe the facilities charge is 22 bucks a month right now, plus whatever usage times 7 cents. Pretty reasonable for living in the forest. In California, my business, which has three phase, is pretty expensive, about .35 cents a kwh for the tier I use,
less*plus* facilities charges and standby. We own a 2014 Volt with nearly 100K miles. The above contains a significant amount of BS. If I get time and anyone cares I’ll write a critique based on 8 yrs and 100K first person experience. . First and most obvious comparing a Volt to a Tesla. Two completely different animals.
That said the Volt isn’t for everyone. If you use it for where it excels – urban commuter car it is outstanding.
I care… not in the market, but interested in real world experience…
A cousin in Germany installed solar panels on his house in suburban Munich. The panels take care of most of his frugal needs, and are supplemented by other fuel sources as needed.
What I don’t understand is the all-or-nothing arguments. A Walmart or Kroger has enormous flat roof space, and a solar array might cut down on cooling. Recall reading about a Walmart in sunny Texas that did well with a solar array over their roof because of the cooling factor.
Same with bicycles. Living in car culture it is too easy to get overweight. I LIKE my hybrid car. But I would also like to be able to safely walk or bicycle for small errands. Why is our community set up to discourage that? A LOT of us struggle with weight issues. I don’t want to resort to bulimia or starvation to maintain a reasonable weight.
ROI is terrible for solar panels…they are useless before their “savings” have paid off the additional cost…it is even worse for windmills…both ONLY work through government subsidies….eliminate those and you have no “alternate energy sources”
Some of us live in the country, so an electric vehicle doesn’t make sense for us. But for city folks they might be worthwhile.
As to walking and biking, have you asked your city council about putting in sidewalks? They can be quite expensive, and disruptive to traffic while being installed, but maybe the folks in your city would be willing to pay the price?
In a town I lived in some years ago, the property owners along the proposed route of the new sidewalks were assessed for the cost. I don’t recall if those property owners were given a choice. I suspect not.
Doesn’t really seem fair. But at least some folks were able to ride a bicycle if they wanted.
At someone else’s expense.
My town makes the homeowner pay for sidewalks and upkeep. I’m needing a new sidewalk so I have been investigating. Only $5000 or so…..
Have you looked into cost of installing solar panels on an existing house, I was quoted forty thousand dollars. I live near the beach in Florida try to get sidewalks here and the greenies go crazy.
Solar panels lose about 5% of their effectiveness each year. After 15-20 years their useless. Also, here in Florida they act as a sail in a hurricane and will peel off your roof like the top of a tuna can!
OK real world experience then and I won’t waste time with that BS article above.
Volt has been almost maintenance free. THAT is why the dealers killed the Volt. They literally tried to talk us out of buying the car!
*Original brake pads are at 98K miles with lots of life yet. Regenerative braking does most of the stopping while recharging the battery.
*Oil gets changed about every 30K mi whether it needs it or not. Yes 3 oil changes in 98K mi.
*It’s fun to drive. Electric motors have all their torque coming out of the hole. When we first got it they were really rare and people at traffic lights wanted to be ahead of us because “electric car slow bad”. LOL! All they ever saw were my taillights!
*Battery weight gives pretty low CG. Corners well.
*Once out of Ohio I drive to SW Florida at 80-85 mph and get around 35mpg. 40 if I drive “sensibly”. Ours does burn hi-test. Later versions burns regular. I can drive the HOV lane thru ATL all by my lonesome. 😉
*Wife working from home for two yrs or would be 125K mileage.
*Wife driving to work 25 mi round trip up and down hill could do two trips per charge most of the year. $1.50/day.
*I can sit in the car with a/c running all day on the battery while wife shops .
*Charges overnight on a 120VAC 20Amp. We don’t even notice the additional electric bill.
*If she has to return to work-in-person I’ll install a 240VAC charger only because the car will warm the cabin remote start on house power.
*Battery is permitted to use 10KW of the total 17KW battery and at 98K mile it still delivers the rated 10KW. So much for battery replacement.
*Excepting highway trips we burn maybe 4 gals a month.
*Combined mileage for us 120. Serious hi-milers can get 250.
*It’s a 4 seat car. Tall people will not be happy in back seat. Plenty of room for groceries.
*Car can be a pain in the ass nanny-car bitching about one thing or another but then I imagine all new cars are that way. Me – I drive a 1984 GMC S15 and it’s blissfully silent. 😉
Good to know… thanks for taking the time…
You are welcome. Hope it helped.
You only drove 100K miles in 8 years? You don’t need a car lol
The average yearly mileage for most people is 12k annually. However, after ten years are you willing to pay for a new battery that is more than the car is worth?
maybe in the Eastern side of the Mississippi…in the West people think nothing of a day trip of 60 miles or MORE each way…the distances between civilization are just HUGE….where I lived in the High Desert of CA typically yearly mileage was TWICE that
Part of the housing market collapse in 2007-8 was the “bedroom community” concept sold to residents in CA where they would commute 90 miles or more to work taking them 1 1/2-2 hours each leg…..when gas started to spike then they had to choose between transportation or housing
There’s a 2012 Chevy Volt named ‘Sparkie’ that has now covered more than 470,000 miles. It’s owned by an auto worker named Erick Belmer, who chose it as the cheapest car in which he could travel 6,500 miles a month between his home and job.
Remarkably, Belmer has seen no degradation in the car’s electric range even after its battery propelled it for 165,500 of those miles.
This speaks to the conservative approach taken by GM battery engineers, who provided liquid cooling and heating not only for the motor that powered the car, but for the battery itself. Stories of Volt battery degradation outside of the odd manufacturing flaw are essentially nonexistent.

I would be terrified to get smacked by a big pickup or truck.. not much between you and a bumper.. Or God forbid a 60’s Caddie!
OK … we know you never ride a motorcycle!
At least they can hear the motorcycle.
Before coming to this page, I saw an article recommended by “Pocket” on our home page.
I wasn’t interested in it (I try to never give them clicks), but went back because it dovetailed so well with what you’re saying.
More propaganda: https://getpocket.com/explore/item/forget-miles-per-gallonhere-s-the-best-metric-for-measuring-a-car-s-efficiency?utm_source=pocket-newtab
(I’m not recommending even bothering to click the link and read the article. The conclusion of it is how we all — of course– are moving to EVs, and I guess how amazing they are in energy efficiency. Sure they are. I am beyond frustrated by the stupidity of it all, the whole “Great Reset” and its danger.)
Just a curious question – are you sure you pay $1.16/kwh? I pay about $.09/kwh in OK. National avg is about $.11/kwh. For most people it would cost about $2 to charge it (before other costs like charger and install). Additionally I have a basic home, but my service is 200amp. I work construction as an estimator, and have to look at power loads for homes regularly. 200 amp for this state is pretty much the norm. I dont disagree with pretty much any other part of your assessment. There are significant, yet to be realized costs with this stupid green push.
I think you’re assumed electric rate is off by a factor of 10. Mine is only about 10 cents/kWhr…
The demonic hoardes continue to prove just how they really hate children.
It’s a Moloch thing.
Like most of the Green New Deal, it’s an exercise in NIMBY.
As long as that slave and child labor is in Asia, Africa or South America, not a problem. Better than having that oil platform visible from your beachfront home in their book.
Your math is wrong. If your paying $1.16 per kwh you need to dump your electric company and buy a gas generator. I pay $0.107 per kwh. There is also the standard fixed fee for be hooked to the electric cooperative, as well as taxes.
EV are usually cheaper to operate on fuel. However the initial cost and the other limitations don’t make them practical for most people.
If I had a business, like a plumbing, electrical contractor, et cetera, and needed a pickup truck to drive locally I would buy an EV. I think the Ford EV pickup will go 300 miles on a charge. If your only driving 20-50 miles a day it would make sense. I would charge it when not working or over the weekend.
I was having the same conversations with my two son-in-laws, McKinney, TX.
My two duaghters work locally and drive less than 50 miles per day between work and other stops. The electriccar makes allot of sense. It is the initial acquisition costs and maintenance that has to be performed, which are currently the barriers.
There is one other cost that I am sure the green weenies will insist upon when sanity begins to prevail … disposal fee for the batteries when disposing of the car for any reason. Disposal fees for dead car batteries and even tires is not cheap these days.
Even musk is still dubious at this point when comes to CURRENT ROI for an electric car vs costs to own and operate. Yet, somebody has to be the first to blaze the trail through initial fielding of the product.
I don’t understand how that makes sense for your daughters if you need to recharge after 25 miles.
Plus as a woman I would constantly be afraid of battery dying at a bad location or bad time.
Where do you get your 25 mile figure from?
BTW, I considered buying an EV, but I chose not to due to the limitations and cost.
I secretly suspect they push solar and wind and biofuels just so they can prevent fusion from being developed. It all just seems like a big Solyndra subsidy scam they profit from.
As for electric, haha, it takes a special kind of stupid to think it runs on pixie dust.
Possible. Keep in mind that Obama withdrew the US from the multinational ITER fusion reactor project.
you also fail to account for the environmental damage this “environmental savior causes” from birth the death in its lifecycle in comparison…it is nearly 3 times as costly in contaminants and energy expended to build one with raw materials
But, but, but do we need washers and dryers and stoves and ovens and all those hoity toity things when we can virtue signal with our electric “cars”?
ATTENTION, ATTENTION, THIS IS A NEW WORLD ORDER EDICT, COMPLY OR FACE GRAVE CONSEQUENCES.
BEGINNING ONE MONTH FROM TODAY ALL PEOPLES OF THE WORLD WILL BE REQUIRED TO ENTER YOUR DESIGNATED POPULATION CENTER.
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE FULLY VAXED AND SURRENDER YOUR ASSETS AS A CONDITION OF ENTERY .

ATTENTION, ATTENTION, YOUR COMPLIANCE IS REQUIRED.
Another elephant they don’t talk about; Consumers are “spoiled”; they EXPECT; 2 DVD players for the back seat, so each kid can watch their own.
Electric seat warmers for cold mornings. Air conditioning and heating, electric door locks, and the list goes on.
Many of these were original sold as by order add-ons, but became such standard features that you have to ‘special order’ if you DON’T want the feature.
And they ALL require electricity to operate. On a gas or diesel car, it very moderately increases the load on the alternator, so SLIGHT decrease in gas mileage.
With an electric car, it pulls charge from the battery, plain and simple.
Another big elephant; if you run out of gas, you can carry a small, lightweight gas can to a gas station, fill it, return to your car, and then drive to the station for a fill up.
If you miscalculate withan electric car, you are stuck.
The only transportation idea stupider than electric cars, is “self-driving” cars.
In the early days of automobiles, “we” tried electric, steam, and gasoline. Gasoline won, for a REASON, and all the technology developed since hasn’t changed the fundamentals.
Just as following political science is horrible for public health, its horrible for transportation.
Dutchman: Well, on the other hand, you won’t need GPS when the government decides where you can drive.
What a misleading pantload of hyperbole…
Technology changes and improves, or fails over time. It’s extremely poor research to pick ANY single car model and use that to judge either the cost or resilience of an entire category of automotive tech. It’s just too biased a comparison. Plus, if you had to pick only one, why Volt, which few people bought? Wouldn’t comparing side-by-side numbers with Toyota’s Prius models make more sense as a “typical” hybrid example?
Most hybrid models do not require charging at all. Applying the brakes while driving charges the battery. So much for those extra “10 hours” you will never need. The Volt is a poorly designed “Frankenstein” car – not quite EV, nor current type of hybrid either. IMO, General Motors was trying for a “muscle car”, an alternative fuel vehicle to drive like a GTO, but at less cost than a Tesla. This is not what “green” buyers particularly value. Most want a small-footprint consumer car at comparable cost to an ordinary gas-powered sedan that pollutes less and costs less to keep on the road.
Our 2007 Honda DX hybrid (4-door) cost $25k new. It has required far less engine maintenance than any gas-powered car either of us has owned. The range is 300 miles to a full tank, but as I said it charges itself while driving. The odometer is now heading for 300k miles. The only significant atypical repair was the need to replace the main rechargeable battery at around 200k miles, which cost $1000 installed at Greentec, a company that just makes replacement batteries for hybrids. (Don’t buy parts from the dealership – duh. They wanted four grand for the same, WITHOUT the 5-year warranty.)
Now that there are significant numbers of used hybrids available for sale by owners and dealers, that’s an obvious way to save as much as HALF the cost of buying a new one. If we ever manage to wear our hybrid out, I might well buy last year’s model next time. Or we’ll get a Nissan Leaf if we decide to go full EV. Hatchback, new MSRP of $28k, around 400 miles to a tank, and it only takes two hours to complete an 80% charge. (In my town there are free charging stations at the grocery stores, Public Library and at the Park-and-Ride lots.)
EV’s have improved a LOT in the years since the Volt first came out, and the Japanese car companies have been building hybrid and other alt-fuel vehicles in much larger numbers than GM. No ordinary consumer needs to pay what a Tesla costs unless you actually want and can afford a sports car in the first place. I mean, even Hummer offers a $108k EV, but why???
Very interesting and informative. Thank you.
Most of what you write has value but then there is this. Nonsense.
The Volt is a poorly designed “Frankenstein” car – not quite EV, nor current type of hybrid either.
Nowadays, almost all homes have a 150 amp service or 200 amp service. The Volt can fully charge in the 13 hour time needed, as claimed by GM, if you use 110v. If you run the Volt charger at your house using a 220v outlet it cuts the charging time to a third of that. Many homeowners could install a 220 outlet in their own garage for charging without having to call an electrician.
It seems ridiculous to claim a 10 hour charging time AFTER you arrive at your destination as part of your trip of 4.5 hours making it now 14.5 hours so you can now claim you averaged 20 MPH. Sure … if you just sit in your car for those 10 hours out in the driveway at Aunt Millie’s house after your arrival, while you screw her over by making her buy the electricity to recharge your Volt, I suppose it’s fair to claim your trip took 14.5 hours. I’d be looking for your family to try and force you into psychiatric counseling.
The Chevrolet Volt is a monster fuster cluck from front to back … top to bottom. I have a link that car buffs might enjoy as you might a horror film so bad, it’s enjoyable. Think “Ed Wood”!
In light of the Government Covid nonsense as well as the Ukraine invasion hoopala, reading about the Volt is more evidence of the Government lying through it’s teeth and encouraging and enabling GM to do the same.
I worked in auto garages as a mechanic and in 2 Mercedes dealerships as a service advisor. I suspect electric and hybrid car owners are similar to Mercedes owners and don’t want to admit to the unwashed that their cars have faults.
I am thinking the Volt would be all but unrepairable outside a GM dealership. I have a 2004 Ford E350 with a turbo diesel that is a nightmare to find any competent honest repair people to service. I will never own another turbocharged or supercharged engine, period. The positioning of the turbo on the engine and the resulting routing of the exhaust over the top of the engine makes most engine servicing and repairs an absolute time consuming nightmare. Then there is an added bonus of multitudes of new sensors, switches and modules that all interact to make things more confusing. The Volt is all these problems, on steroids.
Switching everyone over to electric vehicles seems impossible to me without building atomic power plants FIRST. Seeing how the Davos crowd is intent on ending fossil fuel usage, recyclables are a total loser alternative.

I must be one of those expensive German car owners lying about my Chevy or too dumb to know how bad it is. Yeh that’s it.
Meanwhile we’ll keep burning almost no gasoline…. like we have since 2014.
Your cost per kilowatt hour is more like $0.116, making the cost to recharge $1.86, or 7.4 cents per mile.
This story has been locating around on the internet for several years, and no one seems to notice the error.
If you don’t put the decimal point in the right place you can’t get the right answer.
Have any of you purchased a light fixture recently? You can get an incandescent fixture for less than $10. And a bulb for a buck or two.
Now if you decide to put in an energy efficient fixture with a LED light source you will pay three to four times more for the fixture. The claim is the LED lasts so much longer.
Well I installed three of these for a client a few years ago. Just had to replace one last fall, bulb stopped working.
But you can not just replace the LED, you have to replace the entire fixture.
Now that is what they call energy efficient, we are screwed.
OK, but we have the highest electricity costs in the US at $0.27 per kwh. Don’t know where your $1.16 is coming from? But yes, here residential solar is a big thing with on-site storage so distribution from the grid is not currently a big issue, but I agree that there is somewhat a free-rider effect for early adoptrs.
thank you…..might ad someone else said a huge apt building with all those cars could NEVER charge them all….how dumb these fools are….nothing they do or say makes any sense….destroy it all, huh demorats.

Those look like ordinary white plastic kitchen garbage bags? My ex GF cleans the kitty litter boxes and puts the tootsie rolls and clumps of wet litter in regular Walmart bags and throws them in the top of full kitchen garbage bags already in the garbage can and just that additional weight stretches them to the breaking point. I think a regular white plastic garbage bag would completely rip apart if they’re even 1/3rd full of dry sand.
I thought sand bags were made of burlap or a plastic burlap blend?
Unfortunately they have to use the bags they have available. ………. Is this too hard to understand. ……….. A wall made of small bags of sand will still stop small arms fire and shrapnel. …….

“Putin is not a military general. He is a modernist leader, a trained spymaster and strategist who understands that war is a continuation of politics by other means (Clausewitz). Accordingly, if we want to grasp Putin’s motives we should refrain from trying to assess Russia’s military campaign in terms of ‘strict military objectives.’ We should instead look at the military campaign as a political instrument that is set to mobilize a global and regional geopolitical shift and on a mammoth scale.”

From the Epoch Times (Andrew Davies) –
While Western outrage and concern at the human misery now being inflicted is understandable, at the same time, it’s hypocritical. America and coalition forces were once the aggressors that invaded Iraq in 2003 under the false pretext that it had weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
According to a Lancet study, that war led to about 655,000 deaths from March 2003 to June 2006, and the regional destabilization it created eventually allowed the terrorist group ISIS to establish its bloody caliphate, bringing the death toll much, much higher.
To justify that invasion, then-British Prime Minister Tony Blair stood up in Parliament and falsely told MPs that Iraq could deploy WMDs that could target British bases in Cyprus within 45 minutes. His sole proof turned out to be a plagiarized “dodgy dossier.”
That was a lot of deaths on the off-chance that Saddam Hussein might have a weapon. And there was no intelligence to say he was going to use it—how could there have been as no WMDs were ever found in Iraq, whereas, Zelensky has admitted to the world his plans to site them in Ukraine and aim them in Russia’s direction.
Today, there are many calls for Putin to be tried for war crimes, yet the architects of the invasion of Iraq received no sanction over the deaths they caused there. Indeed, “Sir” Tony Blair just received the highest level of knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II.

My family and I are binging on The Last Ship tv series with parallels to Covid and govt propaganda. In that series, there’s a worldwide pandemic (truly deadly in that case) and the ship’s crew, including two virologists, were never exposed. So they are trying to save the world with developing a vaccine while fighting off nasty, nuclear-lobbing Russians who want to kidnap the head virologist (the other one is their mole). The valiant CDC/NIH staff all succumb to the virus so the world’s last hope is this last ship. It’s a great propaganda piece for the U.S. Navy as it skillfully fights various other enemies while they cruise around the world trying to desperately find fuel, food and their families.
I tried to watch that show but I had already read the book…..what a disappointment.

At current inflation rates, workers lost 1 month of income. But we still have to pay income taxes on that month. So it’s more like one and a half months of income gone.

Good! We should all be moving away from technology!
Right on! One of the best things that could ever happen to this country would be abolishing the cell phone. It is an addiction, and its social cost for young people is astronomical.
Amish Rule!
Yeah, about that guy; zero to hero to minus one
The hero part was a scam from the get go.
Barr was there to save his beloved corrupt DOJ in its corruption. And to stab The President in the back.
Hero to whom? I kinda recall that most folks around here never trusted him for a second…
Here yes. Many, but not all. We had a steady stream of people who held on to each AG and DAG as heroes, long after it became apparent that it wasn’t so. FOX also had a huge influence with guests and hosts promising us things that never would happen.
And every prosecutor was a hero. What’s his name from Utah. Durham. Even Horowitz. And all those sealed indictments. We never failed to cling onto false hope. Each episode started with a majority for hope with very few detractors. I fell for a lot of it too. And I suffered lots of attacks when I started doubting. And sad to say, like most, it took me a while to learn my lesson. Giving in to the siren song of hope several times.
If you doubt that it was a majority, go back and read from the time Barr admitted Trump was spied on.
But hey, there were always people smarter, or more jaded, than I. Commenters who didn’t fall for the tricks from our side. Glad that you all are here.

The FED is already out of control without her so this is a good move.
You will see how out of control the FED is when you start hearing about Treasury auction failures. The FED caused the inflation and ran up the debt to the point that there will be insufficient buyers of bonds without their continued printing of money.
It really doesn’t matter; the FED is bankrupt.

Good, maybe there is still a small ray of hope in the Senate. The Demented Fraud’s puppet masters don’t need to push this disastrous lib onto the SCOTUS, they already have a majority with eunuchs Roberts and Kavanaugh, and equally leftist Barrett
But that would only balance out Senator Inhofe (R)not voting anymore.
By the way, why did Inhofe quit voting? I don’t think he has voted since he announced his retirement. He’s still there until next January isn’t he?

As I said earlier, abused by friend and foe. Just like the International fighters who tried to save Spain for the Communists.
Last Friday a local author’s column was published in our socialist county’s little socialist newspaper, a paper that is delivered for free to every house in the county every week. The author started his column by saying “Just try to be nice to people,” he went on for many paragraphs to mock and disparage Christians in multiple ways, and he ended his column by saying, “Just try to be nice to people.”
Now the obvious stands out to all of us; how is this author being “nice” to Christians by verbally attacking them?
A few miles up the road from where I live in northern Minnesota is where Communist Party USA leader for many years, Gus Hall (Halberg), was born, and where his Communist parents, his nine siblings, their children and grandchildren made and continue to make an ugly impact on the world.
So maybe I should call our local rag the communist newspaper.
Anyway, I want to send a rebuttal to this “Free Thinkers” column and would love any help you can give me to do that.
If you can help, here is what I need –
1. Links to stories where U.S. citizens were saved because a conceal carry gun owner and Second Amendment advocate was there.
2. Links to stories where U.S. citizens were murdered by weapons other than guns.
3. Since this guy seems to claim it is only Christians who are members of the NRA, if you can find any religious associations given at the NRA website itself, and if so include the link.
4. This man also claims our founding fathers left God out of any and all debate concerning what should go into our Constitution. If you know of any documents that state differently, I’d need a link for that information, also.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give on any of these points. There are many other points I’ve already gotten information on, but I need much more information that I hope you can provide.
Although leftists say anything they want and rarely provide facts to back-up their claims, they constantly scream that conservatives are making things up and demand we prove our points by providing links to where the data can be found. At least that’s the way things are here in Lake Wobegon.
I’m hoping to provide links on every point in my rebuttal, and in the end I will tell him he cannot speak for Jesus – which he does quite a few times in his column – since he does not know the Savior, at all, and says so.
Same idiots here in South Central Pennsylvania .

don’t get so frustrated your fightin with commies and nazis.
Don’t bother with making points to them, it just wastes time. They’re wrong , they’re liars, and they using Smith Mundt Modernization Act to produce their fake news and false reality. They don’t fight fair since their intent is to turn America into a globalist commie hell hole.
You’re first intent was best, Call them a Communist Paper. On Ukraine call them AZOV NAZI supporters. On Covid charge them with multinational conspiracy genocide treason. Be done with wasting real energy on them unless you plan to run your own Paper. Add them to the fake news blacklist and move on.
Probably the best advice of all.
Husband and I literally looked into starting our own small conservative paper here in commie land, and we came to a huge wall we could not overcome learning we would need a good lawyer at the ready before our first edition came out.
We discovered we could be sued at any time for any reason anyone’s sensibilities were looked at the wrong way.
Living on Social Security meant we could afford a phone consultation — maybe — and then we’d be done.
Now if we were a communist paper in communist territory I’m sure we’d have tons of free legal advice. . .
. . . but I’m still going to write, even if it is an exercise in futility.
Perhaps instead of refuting his arguments point by point, you should just laugh at him. Mock him mercilessly. Tell him to get help for his obvious mental health issues. Get HIS blood pressure rising, not yours.
I’m a pretty analytical person and not one prone to think on things that make my naturally low blood pressure go up at all, which is a positive in this crazy world.
Still, I am an Edith Bunker by nature, and seem to yack way more than I should most times.
I am going to take your advice and that of Big Island above — along with similar advice from my husband — and make it short, but pointed.
It has to be sent by noon tomorrow at the latest, so I’ll need to work hard at not yacking and try my best to be clever — which will be a job for me.
Thank you, Catherine, for your good words of wisdom.
I doubt they will print your effort. It might be better to just write one or two sentences mocking him. Don’t waste your time amplifying his screed.

JUST IN – China demands “full account of US bio-military activities” in Ukraine. Chinese foreign ministry claims the US’ responses are “self-contradictory and confusing.”
@disclosetv
The worst part of this is that this illegitimate and thoroughly wicked US Government have deeper-thinking people now agreeing with China and Russia on these particular issues.
Talk about alienating nearly everyone.
China and Russia are attempting to turn US citizens against their government.
A sizeable portion of this country believes cov2 and all the destruction it’s caused was because the US funded bio labs.
Bio labs in their minds are evil.
If russia/china can show/imply that the ukrainians together with US help created cov2 in a bio lab in the ukraine, then by implication, the US together with the ukraine created the destruction that’s been going on for the last two years.
In which case, in the public mind, the bad guys in the war become the ukraines and the US and not the russians.
Nah. This illegitimate US Government is doing it all by themselves at this point.
Face reality. This US Government and its NWO controllers are now the Evil Empire (rest in peace, Gipper).
So Americans are not smart enough to know their gubmint is lying to them and deceiving them?
Their gubmint calls them racists, deplorable, white supremacist, insurrectionists, domestic terrorists… Do they really need the chycoms to turn them against their gubmint?
Seems their gubmint is doing a bang up job all on its own.
You must be new here. The US constitution is published freely just about anywhere you look when you do a web query. There are also the supporting documents and papers relevant to its creation.
Within these documents, you will find that the founders of this country did not trust government. There is literally nothing MORE AMERICAN than not trusting your government.

The way the US is handling the bio-lab situation is akin to a man who got caught cheating on his wife by the neighbor and instead of admitting it, he decides to continuously lie his way into a messy divorce even though the neighbor has video evidence and the whole town knows he’s a piece of sh*t.
Within a short time, not only will hard evidence of the Ukraine bioweapon labs be released, but watch for evidence of US corruption being released by China. Since the CCP owns much of the MSM, this could get real interesting over the next few weeks

Excerpt:
“While its clear Ron DeSantis is a very popular figure with Republicans, he’s still an altar boy in service to the MAGA messiah,” said pollster Fernand Amandi, a Miami-based Democrat who conducted the survey of 800 voters in the county to check its political pulse.
–snip– –
“Miami-Dade is the Rosetta stone for understanding how Florida is trending,” Amandi said, “and because Florida is a window into the United States, it’s a way to understand how national trends are breaking.”
Overall, Amandi said he didn’t like what he saw for his party.

Lara Logan was her guest. Definitely worth watching!
General Flynn was the first guest of her first show.
Lara is too dangerous to the media for the networks to give her airtime.
But not mike!

I made a list fake news blacklist 2022. pastebin . com /bjYFaEyS
it don’t have everything, but it has enough to get people thinking straight again.
When a story don’t add up, check this list.
There are exceptions to rules, and there maybe a Journalist that pops up out of all that who has integrity, but with Smith Mundt Modernization Act, Patriot Act, and Continuity of Government mostly they will be a rare gem amongst the multinational conspiracy genocide treason.
Trump On Telegram:
Time Warner, the owner of Fake News CNN, has just announced that they will be terminating a very popular and wonderful news network (OAN). Between heavily indebted Time Warner, and Radical Left Comcast, which runs Xfinity, there is a virtual monopoly on news, thereby making what you hear from the LameStream Media largely FAKE, hence the name FAKE NEWS! I believe the people of this Country should protest the decision to eliminate OAN, a very important voice. Likewise, Comcast is terrible and expensive. Let them know that you’re sick and tired of FAKE NEWS! In this modern age of technology, they are no longer necessary. Demand that OAN be allowed to stay on the air. It is far bigger and more popular than anyone knows, and importantly, it represents the voice of a very large group of people!
CNN is cable channel not broadcast. Different FCC rules. The FCC is captured by Smith Mundt Modernization Act so you won’t get Engineers working to manage the spectrum in the public interest EVER AGAIN.
I watch virtually no live TV at this point.
But I happily toss a couple dollars a month towards OAN, even if I don’t watch it all that much.
You can too, via their online outlet:
https://www.klowdtv.com/home.ktv
It’s $4.99/month via Roku. We gladly pay it.
Excellent Point, OS. I will as well.
🤷♂️ I haven’t watched “cable television” in more than thirty years … because: “there is no television in my house!” Nor do I miss not having one.
I also have never used Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of “social media.” Nor have I ever wished to.
No, I’m not a “Luddite.” I have in fact been in computer software development for more than thirty years now. But, I am purposely selective. I don’t let everything into my world that wants to be there.
Lots of tech folks avoid the various social media platforms and certain technologies .
.
I will not speak to anyone when there is Amazon Alexa Google Assistant, or any other virtual “assistant” in a home. Remove it or I do not enter.
.
A “virtual assistant” the whole idea is insane, if you bother to read the terms of service.
FIOS still has OAN and OAN is starting a streaming service along with an App.. The problem is in a lot of areas there is no competition between the various cable companies. It’s just FIOS in my area, where my daughter lives they only get COX.
I had FIOS in Southern California when I lived/worked there. LOVED it! I’ve never experienced speeds like that since, and not a maintenance call in over five years. Verizon converted/upgraded the house gratis. (promotional offer)
However, that house was arms-length from the next house, and traffic was so bad at normal hours I opted to work graveyard just to have a life off the freeways.
Now I have views of water and mountains, wildlife passing by, and the entire town can be traversed in 30 minutes. Of course we can’t get a cell signal, and the Internet is at the speed of DSL. Everything goes out, including electricity, if there are wind gusts above 20mph. There’s no FIOS within a two-hour drive.
You can’t win them all, so pick what matters most to you. Besides the $4.99 option on Roku, OAN plays on the PlutoTV app for free. (All ad-supported channels)
Bottom lines;
1) The Ukraine war is an attempt to bring about Regime Change in Russia.
THATS what it is about, all else is chaff and countermeasures.
2) The J6 House unselect committee, the arrest and treatment of J6 protesters, the initial set up to feed this false narrative,..is ALL in order to protect the Uniparty, from a MAGA insurgency; to protect RINOS.
3) COVID was a virus released specifically in order to drive PDJT out of the Oval office. I long believed it was released by the CCP, for this purpose.
I now believed it was the same cast of characters in the U.S. who did it.
prove me wrong.
1) Ukraine Skirmish – it’s about protecting NAZIS, our treasonous government and BioWeapons Labs & energy oil
2) J6 = the day AZOV stole the covert ops server (with the pay-to-play and country topples) out of Nancy Pelosi’s office, while blaming MAGA and Qanon(an NBC production)
3) Covid Pandemic is a PCR testing Hoax followed up by BioWeapons Loaded up in Needles called Vaccines which aren’t really vaccines but mRNA genetic experiments for the NAZIS and Klaush Schweb, WEF, Blackrock, Gates, CDC, WHO, CCP and State Department, Pelosi and to higalian dialectic fix their problem reactio solution with Nobility vs Slave Surfs with social credit scores on a CBDC. All because they get you to agree you caused Climate change and you are the racist nazi.
Mayorkas making terrorist threats against innocent Americans who speak out are so he can PROTECT the CCP, AZOV, NABU, bioweapon labs, energy deals, and multinational conspiracy genocide treason with COVID narrative to start WW3. if you can’t speak, they OWN the narrative and start the war and murder everyone on earth. He exploits the Smith Munder Modernization act and other treasonous activities.
Hey, did you know Russia was giving cyber support to anti-vaxxers?
I was reading this article about the failures of the big Russian General involved in Ukraine,
General Valery Gerasimov’s Great Ukrainian Disaster | RealClearDefense
and as I was wondering how much was true, then the author snuck this in
<<
Russian cyber support for anti-vaxxers is now quickly shifting towards hating refugees.
>>
So much for his explanations.
And some of it might have made sense.
Misapplied lessons from success in Russian friendly Crimea to a now battle hardened Ukraine, thinking it would easily fold.
Using a military designed for defense to attack.
Lack of a logistics system designed for advancing.
Inability to apply the massive firepower that defense requires because of image concerns and wanting to conquer more than a barren wasteland.
Army too small, etc.
And yet, and yet, every time I check, Russia is still advancing. A little bit over here. Then a little bit over there. Gradually and inexorably moving forward.
The west started off saying Russia would take Ukraine in three days, and yet it took the U.S. three weeks to take Baghdad.
And then we rapidly switch to saying Russia is incompetent and losing because they didn’t meet our inflated image. And every commentator seems to take all the Ukrainian propaganda at face value.
Who knows if Russia is suffering too much attrition for a victory through a steady methodical campaign, but they are still winning now despite the claims to the contrary.
But still, blaming everything you don’t like, like anti-vaxxers, on Russia. We don’t need any foreign support to fight the criminal, killer, ineffective jab that was just an excuse to impose control over us while lining rich people’s pockets.
I actually think Russia’s slow advance is intentional. 🤔
Me too. I think there was a plan to provoke a collapse with an easy win, few casualties and little damage, but that wasn’t all of their plan. That was more of a let’s do that while we ramp up the invasion plan.
Still some issues occurred as always in war. No clue about real losses. Too much propaganda.
I am surprised by how small the army is. Not that I was an expert. A small army, meant for defense, just doesn’t fit any of our propaganda since the USSR fell.
The red guards/brown shirts of the left in action.

What do Larry Hogan, Mitt Romney, Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, Liz Chaney, Chris Christy and Nikki Haley all have in common? They are all delusional believing they are Presidential timber! 🤣! Not one would put America first! How can we end this dog and pony show before it begins? Hope President Trump announces soon!
Larry HOGan is immensely unlikable and unattractive. If Martin O’Malley couldn’t get elected no way in hades is Larry Hogan. PLUS he is the epitome of RINO.
He’s a rude, morbidly obese, cancer patient, with a mail order wife. He also loves abortion. Grifters gonna grift.
Interesting tidbit in today’s Federal Register. The Census Bureau wants to change some questions to their Registered Nurse questionnaire, to delete some questions and add new questions specific to handling the Covid, and very interesting, they want to pay some nurses $5.00 to get their answers.
Paying for answers might be a new thing with the Census Bureau.

The Census should be NUKED. it’s exploited for TREASON.
Never thought I’d agree with an evil serial killer – but he’s right.

pretty close to the way I see it.
Mitt Romney called Tulsi Gabbard a “treasonous liar” for claiming that there’s bio-labs in Ukraine.
She fired back with proof.
Not a big fan of her, but Mittens picked the wrong fight here, IMO. She doesn’t seen to take any shit from anyone. Mittens should have talked with Heels Up before getting into this. And, to top it all off…she’s absolutely right!
How long till we see Mittens tie Tulsi to the roof of his station wagon and drive her to some hidden place?

Tulsi’s take on the situation…
It is unbelievable that a federal judge can not figure out to just follow the rules of the court in this scenario.
Unbelievable.
DC has learned from Ottawa. They blocked of exit ramps for everybody to block the convoy truckers from exiting the freeways. They ended up creating a traffic blockade for the truckers. There is a lot locals complaining the police screwed things up for local traffic.
The funny thing is, the truckers never intended to exit the freeways. If the protests are to have any traction there should be something to get attention. So the police action helped them do that.
