This is not good for working class Americans, not good at all. With gas prices already jumping, oil futures have now eclipsed a 15-year high and the outlook does not look good.
(MSM) – […] West Texas Intermediate crude futures, the U.S. oil benchmark, traded 8% higher to above $125 a barrel, the highest since July 2008. At one point the price rose to $130.50 Sunday evening before retreating.
The international benchmark, Brent crude, traded 9% higher to $128.60, also the highest price seen since 2008. Brent hit a high of $139.13 at one point overnight.
“Oil is rising on the prospect for a full embargo of Russian oil and products,” said John Kilduff of Again Capital. “Already high gasoline prices are going to keep going up in a jarring fashion. Prices in some states will be pushing $5 pretty quickly.” (read more)
What was the last gas price in your neighborhood?
Yes, a president can and does control the price of gasoline. What can a U.S. President and administration specifically do? We have abundant U.S. energy resources. Quite literally the strongest in the entire world.
- Permit the use of preexisting approved leases in ANWAR (Alaska) to put more volume into the Alaskan oil pipeline that is severely underutilized.
- Finish the Dakota access pipeline.
- Re-approve the preexisting energy leases in New Mexico, Arizona, NE Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.
- Retract the stoppage of the Keystone pipeline to permit efficient oil transport shipments from Canada.
- Stop blocking the expansion of coastal oil refineries in Texas, Louisiana and Alabama (regulatory issue), as well as Northwest, Northeast and Southeast Seaboard.
- Continue to develop natural gas as a clean burning fuel.
- Drive Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as an export.
.
Unfortunately, this would mean reversing the entire energy policy of the current administration. The existing energy inflation and high prices of oil, natural gas and gasoline are a direct and intentional part of Joe Biden’s policy. That policy is driven by the leftist demand for a “green new deal.”
None of the actions above require any approval from OPEC. Strategically, the ‘all of the above’ approach enhances U.S. national security and diminishes the influence of Russia, China and Iran. Within six months of the above, gasoline will plummet.
“If we ban Russian oil, we need to do it in a way that doesn't dramatically increase prices for American consumers. If the price of a barrel of oil goes to $150…you and I can afford that, but there are a lot of low income consumers who would be hurt.” pic.twitter.com/pQox571V65

Here is an oddity that happens in these situations. When gas hit $3.99 in some places, the farm services dealer where I buy no-ethanol gas had the no-ethanol at $3.85. I was there to get 30 gallons for my small engines and was expecting $4.25 or more. They have a separate above ground tank that they fill and price and pretty much hold that price until empty. When I got my 30 gallons he said that it was near the bottom and ready for a refill. It will be a lot higher tomorrow.
Monday gas in Pittsburgh was $3.69. Today, Sunday, it is $4.39. I don’t think people in PA are going to be blaming Putin for the price of gas, especially when it was already up over a dollar BEFORE Ukraine. PA will go flaming crimson red in November.
It does not have to be – if we make sure to vote in America First R’s and not Democrats in Drag (DID party).
Central NC – $3.95 gal. for 87 octane.
Little cheaper where I am.
$4.05 in Wilmington, NC
Diesel fuel in Lexington, Ky. 4.69 reg. undleaded 3.69 – 3.89. I noticed all the Shell stations had the higher price. I expect other stations to go 3.89 soon.
If they are trying to trigger an actual insurrection they are on the right track. Adding several hundred dollars to families expenses is going create EXTREME hardships on middle class folks, the lower income families will not survive. When the pain becomes too harsh and widespread people will go off. Ammo up because it’s going to get really bad.
I believe you are correct ✅️
Unfortunately for our country time ⏲️ is running short 😳
In no particular order, inflation / stagflation, military failure, and poor communication with the American people wiped out Jimmy Carter.
There’s not enough time until 2024 election season for Bidet to turn it around, even if he was willing and able. There’s only 24 months or so.
yeah, yeah I know, election theft
I don’t think we make it 3 more years
Correct ✅️
It will be a blessing if we have the 2022 elections without being in a declared state of national emergency or outright war 🤔
Managed Decline. Clock is ticking… for them. Tick, tick, tick…
It is going to be Biblical !!
we have not had a military failure. the failure will be to engage the military at all
Jimmy did not raise gas prices on purpose. These people are insane. Not stupid, because they are accomplishing their goals. I think it will settle around $7-8. It will come back to 2.75 when Trump gets back in .
Southern Colorado – Went up 30 cents/gal in 5 days from $3.50 to $3.80 for regular gas. Mid grade gas went up from $3.85 to $4.25 over the same time period. Premium grade is now at $4.70 but I don’t know where it was 5 days ago since we don’t buy it. Everyone is topping off their tanks today, some toting gas cans. We are expecting at least $4.20 for the cheap stuff by the end of this week and at least $7.00 by May and shortages at every gas station in the area.
$4.69 Chicago northern suburbs
Filled up this morning at Walmart (SE VA) for $3.60/gal, but was $4.24/gal across the street and $4.39/gal at a 7-11 down the street.
Today, Bourne, MA, Cape Cod $4.39, was $3.89 last Monday.
The most expensive gas I saw today was in Wareham… wife and I were going to Chili’s. Prices were slightly lower on the other side of the bridge.
And speaking of Chili’s….restaurant prices are way up. In CA. But we had to hop around a little to get a table on Friday night – busy.
That $4.39 was at the Mobil on 28. At the Rotary it was $4.29.
I went to Aldi in Wareham last Thursday. A Lady stopped to admire my dog and told me her Husband and BIL, own one of the gas stations on rt 6 Wareham. She said buy your gas today, it’s going up overnight big.
Her Husband had to top of all his tanks and reserves because of this impending gas crisis and saved $30,000, doing that one day before the increases, the next day. She was spot on. She also said $7.00 a gal is the goal by summer.
Palm Beach County
$3.99 regular
$ 4.44 Mid
$ 4.74 premium
$ 4.59 Diesel
Yes, it’s not cheap here in North Palm Beach County at all. Paid $4.89 today in Jupiter!
Same in CA. Yesterday, though, who knows what it is now
Stein’s Law is applicable.
This is going to be ugly. The Ukraine ruse is about to disappear in the US.
Middle TN — filled up Saturday. $4.09 for 87 regular, $4.99 for 91 premium.
Brutal.
Gas is $3.89 today in central NC. Regular 87.
Central Fl $3.99 I am guessing for the cheap stuff
East Los Angeles–$5.00/gallon for 87 octane.
While filling up I lied to the guy in the next pump and told him I voted for Biden
(when, in fact, I voted for Trump) but that now a deeply regret voting for Biden.
He said, in Spanish, “I did too and I would prefer to poke my eyes out rather than
vote for that $!&%%* again.”
Can only imagine the Spanish lingo….ha!
Buy food – lots of shelf stable food.
Question: If we cut Russia off from trading their oil worldwide and all banking would they feel justified in nuking us as their civilization was on the brink? I don’t know.
yes that is why is it absolutely ****ing insane
Don’t think so. But The West is dropping Economic Nukes on Joe and Mary Blowkov at this point… and, to an extent, you have to question the morality of that, don’t you? I mean… we’re talking serious Collateral Damage.
That’s the million ruble question.
What would happen if Russia said “screw you, were not selling to any nation that sanctioned us”
Look at this website johngaltfla.com
He has a great article about what if Russia drops there nuke on the west.
No, because unlike Rocketman , Putin is not “nuts”. Very narcissistic-yes. But he will not attempt to nuke another country, knowing his own would be also.
That being said, they’re better weapons… CYBER WARFARE. Powergrids, power plants, dams, banks, medical etc. Each done consecutive could be devastating.
We have already seen effects of this type hits- now ramp those up BIIIGLY!
“What was the last gas price in your neighborhood?”
Last week, In NE Ohio, I filled my truck with gasoline priced at $3.06, paying $58.00.
This week, gasoline is priced at $3.76. I will pay $14.00 more per tank than last week and a whopping $30.00 more per tank than I did last year. This equates to a $1,500 yearly premium.
Where will this debacle take us?
FJB… LETS GO BRANDON
One result may be that it will be deemed too expensive to drive to the polls, especially for minorities and POC. I expect them to again push for mail in to compensate. A crisis has multiple uses for this bunch.
Correct ✅️
Declare a state of National Emergency and/ War presto-chango magic 🎩
Ballots 🗳 will be manufactured from thin air again-
Only with Federal Emergency Approval
Absolutely. I stated such on another thread.
Good. The best way to prevent a ruse like this is to widely tell of its possibility. If it happens to not be true, I will be perfectly happy if it does not happen.
I don’t know how the distances are in rural areas.
But in urban and suburban areas the polls are usually within walking distance. Mine is about a 45 minute walk. And I damn well will do that if need be.
Freedom Convoy circling the DC beltway…
Regular basis every day driving to DC means traffic jams.
And coupled with price of gas -as those government GS-ers are going to work. They will be sitting there watching their fuel tank gauge go down even faster than normal commute.
Trauma is going to be big!
Prepare for Epic meltdowns.
only about 10% of the DC-area residents work for the Federal Government. The rest are regular people; a mix of white-collar (high income), middle and lower-income folks. The Federal Government workers are generally well paid, but are a mix and include a lot of salaries in the lower range — the people with lower salaries tend to live farther out from the City because of high housing costs further in — and have longer commutes. There is a high percentage of middle and lower-income people who will be hit hard by rising prices.
I live here, do not work for the government and I support the People’s Convoy and they should remain here until “demands are met.”
But the percentage of people who live here who have decision-making control over what’s going on in the world is very small. The ones who do — they are the highly paid ones who will not be affected by the rising prices, and they don’t care about the rest of us.
$4.20 gl in Adirondacks, NY. I miss the mean tweets and the money in my pockets.
Ever get the feeling this country is on a Road To Nowhere?
I do.
Road to Perdition
And just being able to plan your next move, the future feels very uncertain
Western suburbs of Chicago – $4.39/gal.
If you think Putin and Xi haven’t noted how economic warfare can be just effective as military when applied properly you’re not paying attention. We re seeing WEF multinationals the EU the US and western powers all cheering on an economic collapse for their own reasons. We are now cannon fodder as much as the Ukranians are.
Correct ✅️ the energy crisis manipulation agenda is in full control
Now for the next WEF Globalists Agenda control point 👉 food supplies crisis👈
Yes – I always felt immune to the chaos here. Ha ha
Central PA…$4.20 ..
Drove I 20, Dallas to Abilene today. Gas was about $3.95/gal at most locations. Some higher, a few lower. Diesel was $0.75 to $1.00/gal higher. The typical spread has always been around $0.50 for diesel over 87 Octane gas.
F Joe.
If the world was fair, diesel would always be about 14% higher than gasoline based on usable energy content. When gas hits $4/gal, diesel should be $4.56. Of course, this never truly holds, but that is the natural differential. Anything else is demand pricing.
Diesel here in central Arizona the verde valley is $4.49 , it is now costing over $100 to fill my truck.
Hudson Valley, NY – $4.30/gal reg
SCal- Friday- it was 4.59.
Yesterday I paid $4.73 at an ARCO.
Today- Chevron $5.69 Arco $5.09
Gas Buddy tells me that nothing is lower than $5.09 now. Oil is indicating another 40-50 cent per gallon increase over the next couple of days.
Looks like they will be taking away our freedom of mobility that we have enjoyed for 250 years.
Have any of our representatives in Congress called, demanded, that FJB open up the leasing on federal public lands for drilling, and get the permits approved for building new refineries?
They should be making a raucous noise to do this; if they represented us. They should be calling for the firing of the head of the agencies blocking the permits and stifling exploration.
Why would they when everyone of them own Tesla stock!
If our representatives, particularly Republicans, really cared, they’d do something wouldn’t they? They truly can do an useless bill or resolution & never get it passed even when they hold majorities but something major, enough of them vote Democrat every time.
Republicans “wait until November 2022 elections” remind me of a saying in the oil patch in the 80’s …”Lord, just give me one more oil boom & I promise this time I won’t piss it all away.”
The real problem is we are being shut down by our own government to end our dependence on fossil fuels once & for all. Our enemies are not, nor are our hypocrites.
Agree;
was simply wondering if anyone’s reps had started making noise.
I know tomorrow I will be calling my Congress and Senate reps local offices to start making noise. Nevada has been named the 3rd highest gas prices in the nation. There’ s no reason for this at all and so figure our reps need to know that we know and that we will definitely be voting this time around!
It’s not going to stop once we vote it out. It’s the “transition”. The higher the prices the better for them
“Have any of our representatives in Congress called, demanded, that FJB open up the leasing on federal public lands for drilling, and get the permits approved for building new refineries?”
Beating the war drums, and pushing breathless hyperbolic anti-Russia tirades on cable networks is exhausting work. It leaves little, to no time for pesky American citizens griping about sky high energy costs, mass illegal invasion, food prices, election fraud, accountability for Vaccine manufacturers, etc.
$4.39 regular 87 in northern WI. Jumped over 30 cents in the past 24 hours.
thank God I no longer have to commute, retired. However due to this massive gas price increase, I’m in California, I am going to change churches. I currently travel 26 miles roundtrip to the church. Next week I start going to one 8 miles roundtrip..
👍👌Good practice anyway with what appears to be fast approaching persecution against many MAGA Americans 🇺🇸 including Christians ✝️.
Underground and discrete small groups scattered throughout communities, towns and cities may become the new American 🇺🇸 cultural, historic and Christian ✝️ experience.
Seems like they’re trying to get people back into the cities
SoCal. Seems like about a week ago drove past the gas station and it was the usual $4.79/gal for the lowest octane/cash. Drove by today and looked about the same EXCEPT it was $5.79!!! WTH??
How can people be so stupid to think this was not by design??
It’s obvious they don’t plan on having an election this fall. Both sides are in on what’s coming. Their brazen disregard for our sovereignty is breath taking. Traitors all!
Maybe and maybe not. The increases we are seeing now will likely not hold or may level out. I see a sudden drive upward of as much as $2-$3 a gallon that may stick for a few months. Then just before the election the lowered demand will lead to large drops, but will nowhere near get back all of the increase. They will claim credit for the drop and say vote for them. And the media will echo that.
All of that assumes we are not breathing fallout from a nuclear war. BTW, will all of those non-virus-proof masks at least keep radioactive dust out of my lungs?
✅️ They’ll have an election this fall…
Under National Emergency or War Declarations so they can Federally produce all needed Ballots 🗳
It’ll be a crisis tool 🔧 for these Globalists to use this fall.
$4.00 this afternoon in east central Florida. Up from about $3.86 earlier in the morning.
Filled up in Catonsville, MD for $3.79 tonight. Stations in Howard Co. are in the 3.90s-4-teens, but no place will be under $4 by mid week. In tandem with crude. spot gasoline futures started this evening up 34¢ but have retreated to a 21¢ gain. 😕
Where are we?
Recognize the GOAL, and you will understand the JOURNEY.
I have come to visualize our current status as an umbrella. (Think about how an umbrella is constructed.)
In my mind, the tip of the umbrella is the WEF (World Economic Forum).
The goal of the WEF is global governance, which includes: total control via a global digital currency; a biological/technological life form; a reduction of the current global population; etc.
What/who currently falls under that WEF umbrella?
Corporations, governments, the United Nations (UN), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Health Organization (WHO); NATO — and I could go on & on & on & on & on.
Throw in “charity” organizations; NGO’s; etc.
‘While we were sleeping’, the WEF managed to ‘scoop up’ ALL influential bodies underneath the tip of their umbrella.
So, with that GOAL in mind — I am not horrified by what is happening along the path towards that GOAL.
Pain?
There will be tremendous PAIN along this journey to reach the goal of the WEF — UNLESS — we can somehow stop it.
This fight/struggle is between complete & total global control of all peoples — & — FREEDOM.
(Personally, I will fight for my children & grandchildren.)
What if the war in Ukraine is the wind that blows the umbrella inside out? There is a possibility I see in which Putin with the support of the BRICS turns the WEF out to the curb and Putin and Xi move into the driver’s seat with the support of the other BRICS nations and they become the drivers of the Great Reset.
Port St Lucie, FL checking in. Almost every station is at $3.99/gal in the 34983
At the cash discount cheapest place $4.69 a gallon yesterday morning and 4.79 in the evening- small town northern CA
North Central Oklahoma, OnCue Non-ethanol gas $ 3.79
OnCue in Edmond, OK, Non-ethanol gas $ 3.99
Restore America with Russian technology
Ok, ok. This one’s a Chinese Type 56. But it’s still an AK. Not ergonomic at all. No fast mag changes, clunky selector lever, and buckhorn sight. But this one’s a milled receiver. Much more stable in firing and maneuvering than the stamped AKM. And utterly, absolutely, reliable under all conditions.
Did you trade this for gas?
Or liquor?
Formerly free Ontario 87 Octane $7.67 US gallon. It went up .90 last night. This country is a pathetic virtue posing mess. We are a joke. $2.03/Litre $220 to fill a Toyota Pickup.
Green is Mean…
It’s not just your country, brother, sister
When will gas be eligible for EBT/SNAP benefits? We will pay twice, ours and theirs and they will vote for who gave them free stuff. There may be more of us than the leaders, but there are lots more folks in the wagon than pulling.
We can’t beat the free give away crowd. Both givers and receivers and we pay both groups. Not of our own free will of course.
Exactly what I’ve been thinking. They will give gas to those that receive food stamps.
Been seeing $3.79-3.99 in southeastern Tennessee and northern Alabama.
We’re in lee county Al and it’s the same here
all the delivery trucks use gas or diesel so do the electric lineman trucks and everybody that travels. planes use some kind of fuel. so I expect the increase in fuel price to also increase all other prices downstream. this isn’t just a commuter problem
In Edmonton (up here in oil country) the cheap gas is $1.56 / litre, which works out to C$5.90 per imperial gallon.
The currency exchange works out to $4.64 U.S / gallon for 87 octane.
I’m holding my breath to see what Dekester is paying in lower British Columbia . . .
$1.83 a litre here in southern Ontario for regular.
That number will probably be much higher by morning.
DD
I just traveled NE Ohio to Orlando Fl. Gas was 3.69-3.99 the whole way down on Friday. It was 3.99 today in Orlando. Not looking forward to higher prices when I go back.
The communist dems have been saying that we need to eliminate fossil fuels for a long time. The Russia “invasion” of the Ukraine gave them a convenient excuse and a bump, but as you can see from the graph SD provided oil prices have been going up steadily. Meanwhile the repubs sit on their hands in usual fashion.
…..oh, $3.85 – $4.15 in sw AZ.
Is there anything more useless than a Republican?
Sigh. Decades of wasted votes on the undeserving.
At least we see clearly now. MAGA.
No
It is amazing at the level of support we are getting from the repub. party. I just am so proud of how they are standing up for us and earning the money that we have donated to them. Why my chest puffs with pride at the way cocaine mitch and miss lindsey go on tv and scream from the rafters that the election was rigged and Biden must step down. Now the way the are protesting our involvement in Ukraine is downright patriotic, just thinking of them brings tears to my eyes.. Cmon man get on board!!
For Obama, Biden, John Kerry, Al Gore, Pelosi, Blackrock and Larry Fink $130 Oil is a feature of their plan not a flaw since they are heavily invested in Green Energy stocks!
All correct – but they want $200 oil.
The ideologues behind the installed puppet Biden will never relent on their energy policy, not even if we are sucked into a full scale world war. They will never relent.
We’re in for massive pain and inflation.
