This is not good for working class Americans, not good at all. With gas prices already jumping, oil futures have now eclipsed a 15-year high and the outlook does not look good.
(MSM) – […] West Texas Intermediate crude futures, the U.S. oil benchmark, traded 8% higher to above $125 a barrel, the highest since July 2008. At one point the price rose to $130.50 Sunday evening before retreating.
The international benchmark, Brent crude, traded 9% higher to $128.60, also the highest price seen since 2008. Brent hit a high of $139.13 at one point overnight.
“Oil is rising on the prospect for a full embargo of Russian oil and products,” said John Kilduff of Again Capital. “Already high gasoline prices are going to keep going up in a jarring fashion. Prices in some states will be pushing $5 pretty quickly.” (read more)
What was the last gas price in your neighborhood?
Yes, a president can and does control the price of gasoline. What can a U.S. President and administration specifically do? We have abundant U.S. energy resources. Quite literally the strongest in the entire world.
- Permit the use of preexisting approved leases in ANWAR (Alaska) to put more volume into the Alaskan oil pipeline that is severely underutilized.
- Finish the Dakota access pipeline.
- Re-approve the preexisting energy leases in New Mexico, Arizona, NE Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.
- Retract the stoppage of the Keystone pipeline to permit efficient oil transport shipments from Canada.
- Stop blocking the expansion of coastal oil refineries in Texas, Louisiana and Alabama (regulatory issue), as well as Northwest, Northeast and Southeast Seaboard.
- Continue to develop natural gas as a clean burning fuel.
- Drive Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as an export.
.
Unfortunately, this would mean reversing the entire energy policy of the current administration. The existing energy inflation and high prices of oil, natural gas and gasoline are a direct and intentional part of Joe Biden’s policy. That policy is driven by the leftist demand for a “green new deal.”
None of the actions above require any approval from OPEC. Strategically, the ‘all of the above’ approach enhances U.S. national security and diminishes the influence of Russia, China and Iran. Within six months of the above, gasoline will plummet.
“If we ban Russian oil, we need to do it in a way that doesn't dramatically increase prices for American consumers. If the price of a barrel of oil goes to $150…you and I can afford that, but there are a lot of low income consumers who would be hurt.” pic.twitter.com/pQox571V65

Should of topped off today. FJB.
I filled up the F250 today in Syracuse, NY.
Last week it jumped up from $3.59 per gallon to $3.79 per gallon and I thought that was bad.
Today it was $4.29 per gallon.
I nearly screamed FJB when the pump hit $122.00.
Not too late.
Truckers locked into contracts are going to go bust!
All the ones I know add fuel surcharges onto the bill.
I top off daily now. Always park FULL. You never know.
4.09 in Metaire Louisiana(NOLA Metro)
Highest I have seen it in a long time.
4.29 for regular unleaded here in swampland Maryland
Went to work yesterday saw 3.59 and on the way home early afternoon it was 3.89.
They don’t want to fix it and could care less about the lowly working class as it the agenda.
Between $3.80 and $4 in Summerville, SC. I bought at $2.86 on 12/14 and thought THAT was outlandish.
“Hey Biden you f..ing idiot”
Build the Keystone Pipeline
NOW!!!
Of course you are a racist and want Blacks and Latino’s to not afford to heat their homes or drives their trucks to work.
For the umpteenth time, Biden is NOT in charge. Radical communists like Obama and Valerie Jarrett are purposely running the US into the ground. It’s all part of a long term plan so we have to join in with the Great Reset.
Can we say “NO!!”?
Remember: “Fundamentally transform America”
Maybe he is not in charge but there are a lot of Democrats up for re-election and if gas prices are $6.00 a gallon you seriously think they won’t start telling Biden publicly to build the pipeline, open federal lands etc.
Maybe you are correct and the Democrats up for re-election will just quit.
We have 7 months or so to find out.
He just needs them for votes. He has no idea what woiuld make their real lives better or worse.
I’ve been wondering in the last couple days, why don’t the oil companies just start up again.
Why don’t they?
Wouldn’t it be better for them if they were actually working and selling oil to Americans? They have to know it would be better for America if they did, so why don’t they just say FJB and go back to work?
Mandates? FJB and his mandates.
General Strike: “Can’t afford the drive to work.”
Aka “Overwhelm the System”

$5.59 for 91 here in Mexifornia. That was Thursday so I expect you to be over $6.00 when I drive by the same station tomorrow morning.
$5.59.9 in In S California 2 days ago.
We hit $4 a gallon here in northern Vermont at the end of last week , and that’s at the cheapest station in the area.
I’m more worried we are going to have a gas run in the short term before prices rise further making the problem worse. Biden administration is making a clown car show look like formula one racing in comparison.
✅️Going according to WEF and normal corrupt political, corporate and military 🪖 plans
$200 a barrel (and higher)
America 🇺🇸 will be at war soon with a JoeBama administration war-time presidency
All of us MAGA citizens will be accused of being traitors if weren’t not all in on this corrupt war and other WEF Agenda items
I posted in the last story that Germany will oppose a ban on Russian oil and gas. They know that would tank their economy, sending it into a major recession, but that of the rest of the west’s economies as well.
They get all their gas from Russia. Not gonna happen
Did the US govt get boxed into a corner? I don’t think the globalists expected this level of inflation so suddenly and gas prices went higher and faster than they wanted.
Buying Russian oil was not good for optics, so they were forced to reconsider, and oil now is exponentially rising.
Therefore the rapid dropping of sanction on Iran. That is why Israeli prime minister Bennet was in Russia. Is all of this going as planned? Did they overplay their hand? People aren’t stupid. They must know that liberal policy has painted us into this corner. When will liberals who actually vote for this nonsense wake up? Perhaps pride will force them to always vote liberal and perhaps some actual just love to see their country being destroyed?? So infuriating.
DD
Dan Dale, they did and now Jack is out of the box. Gas here in northeastern NC where I live was $3.44 last week. A day later, $3.59, when I filled up. Next day $3.69, then next day $3.79 and this past Friday, $4.09. I expect another big jump tomorrow. We could see $150 oil by the end of this week. A few analysts are suggesting $180-$200 oil this year, which would probably trigger a depression. Not to mention what this does to the price of food and everything else. One Iowa soybean farmer interviewed on Faux (I don’t watch but read what he said) predicted that all this would end up adding $1,000 a month to a family’s food bill. FJB
The market price of WTI crude is based on futures purchases, usually 3 weeks down the road from any refineries. Small consolation because a world wide crude oil panic is developing into bidding wars among the richer nations.
Amazing how the gas wasn’t refilled by a tanker, yet the end product keeps rising. You hear the gas stations wining, yet their profits should be through the roof.
It works both ways for the gas stations. They may make more now, but its and up/down game all the time. Lose some, win some.
What happened was their COVID narrative, the only thing keeping a lid on inflation by keeping people fearfully locked down in their homes, fell apart. (Sundance mentioned here how they needed Omicron to keep inflation from going out of control.)
The ridiculous printing of money, which is worldwide and not just in the U.S., was essentially a bailout to major zombified financial institutions which were running into trouble financing themselves in 2019. But to keep the money printing from causing massive inflation they needed the lockdowns.
We won’t need lockdowns. Consumers will spend down.
Necessities first and foremost. Food, clothing and shelter.
Food – store brand vs. name brand is one example.
Clothing – Nike will take a hit. So will upscale items. Clothes will not be replaced as soon.
Shelter – Hunker down, only do necessary, major repairs. Cosmetic stuff can wait.
Winners? Costco, Sam’s Club and the like. Chevron, ExxonMobil and the like. Auto shops and parts. HD and Lowes. Dollar Stores, Amazon, McDonalds
Losers? Kraft Heinz and other brand name producers, Starbucks, G-stores (Gas/Convenience combo)
I’ve noticed over the last few months in my local grocery store that there are a lot more store brand products on the shelf than in the past. When the supply of frozen potato products like Ore-Ida went to practically nothing, there were some odd brands I never heard of and then I started seeing store brand frozen potatoes where I did not see them over the past few years. Now I see them in more and more products and they are getting more and more shelf space.
I have noticed the same thing. I do not care for my store’s brand, but I have no choice now. Pasta is hard to find even in the store brand. The grocery shelves are getting scary.
When my family visited East Berlin before the wall fell, every store was entirely generic “store” brands – party brands, actually.
✅️Correct 💥
These nasty and wicked WEF buggers will do ANYTHING to narrative engineer and outright kill☠️ and destroy💥☣️ any concerned MAGA Americans 🇺🇸 not to mention the various peoples from all the other nations.
No boxed in. Put in by plan.
Maybe if we are real nice to our friends in Venezuela they will help us out. I’m sure they could use a ton of our taxpayer dollars.
gotta find a new washing machine, the old Ukraine model might be on its last legs. its making some kind of thumping sound
Venezuela is financed by China. So we’ll help Venezuela pay its debts to China. Wonderful.
Here in Central KY it just hit $3.89. There are still some holdouts that have it sitting at $3.69 but that won’t last long.
It’s the same in S/W Ark – N/E Tx as you have in Central KY.
DFW metroplex here. Hit $4.00 today.
I am near Bowling Green. Same here. I saw some BG stations this weekend at $3.99 but the Sam’s was still at $3.69.
Stolen elections that arent confronted and dealt with have consequences
Exactly 💯 ✅️👌👍
Dire consequences. This is the result of America hating communists, globalists and traitors as well as a bunch of stupid black people who will die believing that the democratic party of slavery is on their side.
It’s liberals of all types believing that lie, and pushing it, especially wealthy elites.
And the America First vote is more diverse than any other.
Surely the “powers that be”realize the gig is up. Too many people know the shenanigans! Joe Biden, a joke. Harris, a joke. Covid, a joke, all the vaccines and mandates and lock-downs …a joke. Fauci…a joke. RUSSIA, a joke. WAR!!! A joke…. A very, very bad joke.
There comes a tipping point…and I believe they never thought they’d get there.
You can only go to that well so many times.
And then there are the millions who have no clue and are waiting for the government to tell them what to think and who to blame.
Amen! FJB, FMP, AND FK em all!
Biden’s racist policies will continue to have disparate impact on communities of color.
Next up……. Free government fuel cards!
Baby El, mor than likely, government price controls, meaning there won’t be anything to buy regardless of price.
The regime recently upped the food stamp cards by 25% so I guess the welfare people, not us will be given fuel cards. We of course don’t deserve them as we are all racists in the eyes of the regime!
It still doesn’t cover the price increases in the grocery stores. I follow the Youtube vids of people doing SNAP/EBT food hauls. They are currently freaking out that the food will all be gone, or cost too much by the time their cards get topped up
Just having become a SS recipient, I’m looking forward to the COLA I. January. Wonder what shenanigans they will use to keep the COLA below 7% when at this rate it will need to be 30%
Don’t give those bureaucraps any ideas.
A elderly relative of ours just paid nearly $5.50 a gallon for home heating oil.
At that price, a tank fill, which barely lasts a month in winter, costs nearly $1,200.
The worst part was, her neighbor two doors down paid over $6/gal. a few days later.
This is literally going to murder seniors on fixed incomes in the colder areas.
Correct word ✅️
“murder”👍👌
Just like the Covid-19 forced infected Nursing Homes ☣️☠️
Medicare, social security. They’re not “essential”.
Was it Ezekiel Emmanuel that said no one should live past the age of 75?
My natural gas bill nearly doubled last month.
Mine too.
I thank God that that we moved to the Free State of Florida. My heart goes out to those seniors who living in the north.
Wait for May and your air conditioning bill through September…$400 a month!
Here in central Florida my electricity supplier is a co-op. In February they announced a 1% increase for the year. Not sure how they’re pulling that off but I’m happy. Next year’s increase might be historic
Just the other day I was wondering what they were going to do with people, like seniors, who don’t owe anything on their homes, on credit cards. Now I know. Many will have no choice but to start putting expenses like this on credit cards, reverse mortgages, etc. I can’t help think this is part of their goal. In order to take control of all property, they need as many people as possible beholden to the credit card companies, banks, etc
$5.10 chicago burbs.
$5.29 a gallon here
I paid $3.19 2 weeks ago. Just a few minutes ago I paid $3.84 at the same pump.
$4.15 this morning. It was $3.67 a day or so ago.
Just spoke to my gas man, Aussie price American equivalent expected to be $ 10-12 per gallon in 6-10 months, $6-7 per gallon now and rising rapidly.
In these situations, what happens to costs of deliveries?
Think it will squash the Uber Eats business like a cockroach!
Vote those mongrels out of office who have caused so many of your problems in Oz.
I am sure of one thing.
Futures traders are making a mint on this.
Indeed they are.
Pelosi and others, no doubt.
all of those ill-gotten assets need to be seized and returned to the people
“What was the last gas price in your neighborhood?”
Filled yesterday, $3.39
I am on vacation in South FL and gas is 4.99 per gallon.
$4.17 in Augusta Maine as of this afternoon.
East Texas $3.74
West Texas $3.35, up from $3.07 yesterday at Costco. Other stations are $3.85 plus.
4.19 to 4.45 bucks co pa
It’s all going as planned. Don’t want people to drive, raise the price so high that only they can afford. Don’t want people to eat meat, raise the price so high that only they can afford. You didn’t think the rules apply to them, do you.
👉Correct
It doesn’t apply to these WEF and corrupt Globalist types of wicked perverts.👈
On Cape Cod, MA the price has hovered around 3.56 for several weeks just today the price jumped between 4.15 to as high as 4.35. I filled up for 3.99 because I used my BJs member card and I had some bonus points on it. I have never seen a price spike this quick even during the Obama regime.
😵💫 Well it is kind of a Barry regime still in action.
JoeBama and his 3rd administration still working their agenda, so one could say you have seen such jump now (under Obama) with more pain to come 🤔
I filled up at BJ’s early afternoon at 3.47 and filled the wife’s car when out at same BJ’s for 3.72, really top off every other day or more depending on how much you drive.
I fortunately have a company truck I drive everyday for work…. Thank God because my personal truck barely gets 12 MPG around town.
Warp speed
$3.99 Anastasia Island, Florida
$4.05 in North Jersey, not far from the refineries.
Think of all those woke investors that dumped anything related to oil when it was low.
My entire IRA and 401K is 100% in natural gas and oil… Has been for years… everybody told me I was stupid but i have been reinvesting all if my distributions when the prices were low. Im making a killing now however the way inflation is going I might barely be even in about a year.
You do not drive a Tesla.
Just guessing.
Chevy 2500 HD… 6.6 liter V8… Crew Cab baby!!!
Beware.
A prior proposed wealth tax will make short work of such prudent investments. Backers will take another swing at passing it again surely.
For sure…. My wife and I were running the numbers considering the cost / benefit of liquidating much of it to zero out the mortgage and car payments. Heck we might need to keep 10 or 15 grand in cash to keep the heat, lights, and gas in the cars.
Las Vegas hit almost a dollar from fri to this am..
Never seen them raise gas prices on a weekend.. never but here we are
3.99 a gallon 87 octane, SW Florida.
$5.13/gallon in San Diego, CA.
$4.99 Diesel, last night, north MS, TN state line. 😬
4.39 Seattle suburb. We need to get on the phone tomorrow and raise holy hell. Let them know we know it’s not Russia but the Green New Deal that started all of this. Perhaps that will get them to end this Russia fiasco sooner.
I’m out and out rooting for the Russians now. We and our allies are going to blow up the world.
Friday in Middle Tennessee near Clarksville $4.00 for regular and $5.00 for diesel. My son called from Western NC, $5.00 for diesel.
$4.19 regular unleaded in Hershey, PA
Short of nuclear war, this is the best way to attack the American people.
The question is, is this attack coming from Russia, or from their own government?
Once again the law of unintended consequences bites leftists in the ass.
The world will change hugely because of this, in the very near future. And no leftist deep thinker can predict exactly how.
It’s 100% our environmentalist-addled government.
It’s not Russia. In case you haven’t noticed, it’s woke capital that’s trying to cancel Russia and shove it out of the marketplace, not Russians retreating from the West.
It was not unintended it is going as planned.
Correct. Things have reached the Biblically prophesied place, i.e., the point where we’re actually watching the war of good v. evil and it can’t/won’t be stopped. The “end time” clock is 1 minute before mid-night with things not falling apart, they’re falling into place. All of this one world crap was foretold thousands of years ago, we will get to see it all play out. That’s the bad news. The good news: we can be assured of being on the winning side because the ending has already been written.
Absolutely this is another attack on the American Middle Class. Upper class but still working for a living all drive Teslas financed by people who can’t buy electricity powered transportation. I remember last year when Texas froze it cost 1,000 dollars to charge an EV. An EV doesn’t travel very far on 1 charge and it only zips around town with 2-4 people inside.
3.89 this morning in Charlotte NC suburbs!😠
FJB!!!
My neighborhood just hit $3.69 with some stations at $3.99. Early last week I drove 300 miles to Memphis and back. I drove back roads through sleepy southern towns. Gas was anything from $3.29 to $3.59 going down on Sunday and nothing under $3.49 on the Wednesday return. Prices at home went from $3.25 to $3.49 while I was gone and now sit at $3.69 unless they went up today. The situation is highly dynamic as they say.
4.50 in East Mesa AZ, JUST OFF McDowell and Recker.
I paid $5.27 yesterday in Sacramento, at a higher price gas station.
Had no choice.
This city will be devastated by what’s coming.
3.78 here at a local Costco in Melbourne Fl. Everywhere else I see 3.99. I haven’t seen anything starting with a 4….yet.
The local Publix has large sections of the frozen food aisle that were empty, the worst I have seen.
Also, FJB
Also, I spoke to someone yesterday from Orlando. They went to 3 gas stations that had NO GAS TO SELL!!
Yes, Heard that same thing from a man who moved from NE PA to S. Carolina. Said many stations he stopped were out of the regular and only had medium and high octane.
3.79-3.99 in Cleveland suburbs today
Listen to the first hour of Glenn Beck from Friday. Bank of America is predicting $200 per barrel but JP Morgan is more optimistic at just $185/barrel.
💥At this rate it’ll go above $200😵💫
$3.49 regular in The Woodlands, TX this morning; did see it at one station for $3.89.
$5.79 Northern CA
$3.63 in lower Arkansas
