I’m a former political consultant, and former wife of a WH speechwriter. I’ve been up close with many SOTU speeches. This was…weird. Un-American. Colors in audience weird, all those acidic staged colors, red and yellow; all the staged cheering was weird and Dear Leader-ish — the body language and expressions in the crowd were weird. Also even FOX commentators keep saying ‘reset’… feels like N Korea or Beijing, not the US.

I liked Gov. Reynolds speech all the way until the last line. Our SOTU is in tatters currently. No need to put a smiley face on what FJB has done to us in just one short year.
I noticed that he was escorted out of the chamber by two doctors. One a white haired female with a short bob and big google eyes that looked scared to death (wonder what she knows about his health? It looked as though she was worried his battery might run out of a charge) and the other was a light skinned black man. They would occasionally speak something to one another and both seemed to want him out quickly. Interestingly, I noticed at one point she actually reached out as if to try to get ahold of his arm. It reminded me of Jill. Perhaps she wasn’t a doctor and was a babysitter? It reminded me of how Hillary always had her doctor with her.

It really is rich how anyone from the “West” can even mention the words Democracy or Freedom after the whole world being under house arrest for over 2 years all because an American Spy department let a flu virus escape from a Biological Weapons Lab which they operated in hundreds (yes hundreds) of overseas locations.
