To put it in context for myself, I try to imagine if Russia pulled the same thing in Canada that the US did in Ukraine in 2014. Now think that Canada has a Russian puppet government actively working against the US, with a scattering of bio weapons labs doing who knows what? We used to get together with our neighbors for weekend drinks, dinner and George Carlin for the adults; kids were having fun doing what kids do.

While it may be true that some of these things are hard to stick with, Land of the free and home of the brave are some good things to shoot for. Too much cynicism kills even the slim ability of a nation to stick together. Mr. Carlin made me laugh, a lot but some of what he said is bull****.
