According to the Associated Press, the CDC is likely to strongly loosen their mask guidance tomorrow, dropping the recommendation that masks should be worn indoors. That said, I’m not sure how many places even have a mask wearing policy any longer.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration will significantly loosen federal mask-wearing guidelines to protect against COVID-19 transmission on Friday, according to two people familiar with the matter, meaning most Americans will no longer be advised to wear masks in indoor public settings.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday will announce a change to the metrics it uses to determine whether to recommend face coverings, shifting from looking at COVID-19 case counts to a more holistic view of risk from the coronavirus to a community. Under current guidelines, masks are recommended for people residing in communities of substantial or high transmission — roughly 95% of U.S. counties, according to the latest data. (read more)
Is anyone wearing masks where you are?
It’s frustrating when fellow citizens are too meek to accept living in freedom. Some people died for your freedom, and you are still meekly wondering if Karen down the street will bitch about you shoveling snow from your driveway without a mask.
Go about your business like you own the place and will rip the head off a lizard and eat it, and people will leave you alone to enjoy your freedom. Inform Karen she will have a shovel enema if she doesn’t mind her own business.
Seriously people. They cannot harm you. Go about your lives without the mask, and you will quickly find out about those you can live without.
Agree, except while I project complete confidence, which always intimidates bullies, I do not project hostility, I project JOY, Happiness and a gusto for life!
Kill them with kindness.
Radiate LOVE. Without SAYING it, invite them to join you.
Like prostelitising for the Lord, often the most effective way can be not saying a WORD, just witnessing by how you live your life.
Only when asked “Whats with you? Your so even keeled and you seem genuinely contented with your lot in life.”
“Ah, I serve the Lord, …”
and wait,…patiently for more questions, and sometimes I wait weeks, months or years.
yeh-nah i am over being polite
Dutchman, I was writing a harsh reply to yours as to how I feel about these commies, but chose to delete it.
As a veteran, I appreciate very much your tone and why you commented as you did.
Thank y0u for your wisdom.
I appreciate your way of being. What would you do if your church required masks because of the rules of the county where you live, and because the higher ups in the church hierarchy (not the local church, but higher) required following local ordinances and regulations and rules about masking? And if this were your established community?
If the options given were, attend in person wearing a mask, or attend by zoom in the comfort of your own home, but separated from your church community?
What are you really following?
I am Roman Catholic and faced that exact situation.
I chose Jesus Christ. If the so- called “higher ups” in my church choose not to follow Him, that is their choice. I keep my eyes and my soul on Jesus, the Jesus of the Bible and the Gospels.
Such things as locked churches, requiring masks, separating the vaxxed from unvaxxed are not in accordance with Jesus’ teaching. If the rest of my community chooses to live that way, in good conscience I cannot follow. I chose to attend Mass online from the Diocese of South Dakota with Bishop DeGrood who knows Jesus and is not woke.
The softer side of The Dutchman!😎
This exactly what I have done in communist NY over the last few months after they reenacted masks. I got a lot of hostile looks, but no one ever said a word, which actually surprised me. I expected hysterics. Bottom line, F ’em.
Live Free R. Iacoveo!
Please!
NW Arkansas. Some of the elderly still wear masks. Freaksters in Eureka still wear them.
Wife and I breath freely and live free. Always have. We won’t support places that require masks.
I don’t have any concern for those who choose to wear a mask, but I find it sad that you mention the elderly wearing masks.
They can choose to do so if they want, I have no qualms with that. My concern is the fear instilled in the elderly that they believe they MUST wear a mask or they will die tomorrow.
My mother is in her 80’s, and has never worn a mask. My in-laws are in their late 70’s and have refused to wear masks.
It’s sad that there are some that have been so deathly frightened by bureaucrats.
My mom is in her 80s too, getting quite frail because she is housebound. Refuses to go out and I think some of it is because she doesn’t like wearing a mask. Fights my brother about going to the doctor. In truth, she has dementia and her body is beginning to fail, but the whole pandemic and mask thing has given her an excuse to just sit at home. Sad.
My mom had a very serious case of agoraphobia when I was growing up. She never left the house and yard unless my father drove her somewhere.
She used to send me to the local store for milk and bread when I was about 5 years old.
I’ve inherited a tinge of it. This was why, when the lockdowns and masks first happened, I was 100% furious about them from day one of the fifteen days.
I have already had to fight a tendency towards agoraphobia my entire life. I didn’t need a huge tyrannical and obviously wrongheaded program to make it worse.
NM: mask mandate lifted last Thursday. Most Walmart employees still wearing them, though it’s their choice, same with Target. These are young people! I’ve seen people alone in their cars wearing them, people going in stores with them. My 4th grade niece says at least 8 kids in her class are wearing them, along with her teacher.
I can’t help but think and sing “Be not afraid…”
Is there a song with the title of “Be not stupid and don’t let anyone lie to you?”
I don’t understand wearing them in cars!
Not to many here in Idaho but it you drive over to WA state there are dimwits outside with no one else in site muzzled up..Also in Idaho you have Lib controlled businesses like WINCO and Walmart that just changed their rules 2 weeks ago to allow JABBED EMPLOYEES to drop their masks while still making their unjabbed employees muzzle up!!
WINCO employees here in SoCal are still masked though more and more of us customers are not. Two weeks ago everyone in the store would be masked but now probably half aren’t waring.
Two weeks ago Costco was handing out masks at the door. I would fish mine out of my pocket indicating I had my own “thank you very much” walk by the greeter and stuff the stupid thing back in my pocket. Maybe 10 to 20% of the customers were mask less. Now no freebies at the door and more brazen au Natural faces!
I live in the Inland Empire (Riverside County) not LA. I think they may still have a dose of the crazies over there except for their Sheriff. Why is it that Sheriff’s seem to be the more level headed of our LEO community? Could it be they are actually voted into office rather than appointed by higher up bureaucrats?
I don’t know how Alex V. slipped through the cracks in HellLA. He’s great.
I’m a retired lawyer, my last case was in Riverside (2010). Really nice court. There was a growing art scene there too.
rural NW Georgia here. I’m 76 and have never worn a mask except in the Dr’s office. I still see a few people here and there wearing them in stores. Interestingly enough they are mostly middle aged. I would have expected mask wearing more in my fellow elderly population but no… 30-50 range for most of them.
I am 70 as is my wife. We have NEVER worn masks and have NEVER been jabbed. We take vitamins D and K2 with zinc and magnesium. We have not caught a cold, flu or covid in the last fifteen years.
So Cal here. Masks are still common. This morning when walking the dogs a women was all alone with her pup with a mask on. See the same with people alone in cars with the mask on. The county of LA is dropping the indoor mask mandate for those locations that check vaccine status. So if your Vaxed or show proof of a negative test then you don’t have to wear a mask. Makes no sense but we will take what we can get out here. The lefties have gone from follow the science, to follow the “Political” science. They know they are done in 8 months, and the situation in Ukraine will make it only worse for them. But hey, I don’t have anymore mean tweets on what little of I see on my twitter feed.
They do NOT know that they are done. Dominion voting machines will provide them all with narrow wins. The masks have dropped, they no longer hide anything. They will cheat like never before.
Exactly! The D’s are confident because they have the best election fraud team, undefeated to date for stealing elections. Who will stop the fraud in Nov? Nobody! Just like in 2020
Undefeated to date?
Well, with one very brilliant exception called President Donald Trump!
And that one exception is going to lead to plenty more America First fighters from here on in.
In a suburb of Seattle noticed that despite the mask mandate by the idiot governor there was a couple in the grocery store who were unmasked and no one said a word to them about it.
I live in Lake Forest Park (a Seattle suburb). I declared mask freedom on Feb. 1. Since then I have never been challenged in a supermarket, hardware or Rite Aid store. Coffee shops: only one out of 15 visits in 4 or 5 shops. (I offered to leave; they served me to go.) I left instead of masking at my favorite book store. I accepted mask to enter our church, emergency room, urgent care and bookstore when I returned with my grandson. I decided at the beginning that if challenged I would either leave or accept mask quietly.
Please choose to live free if you choose.
Your choice will spread to others.
Leaving if challenged is preferable if at all possible.
Leaving with a choice comment is usually my choice. And permanent banning of the idiot business.
@Ron in LFP: LFP alumni here: What is the mask % on the Burke Gillman Trail?
Seattle King Co: Still banned from most venues, vax pass required until March 1. Mask mandates to end March 27, I believe.
I do not wear a mask unless asked, and since 2022 no one asks or gives me the stink eye anymore.
Is anyone wearing masks where you are?
Are you kidding me? Calichinexicofornia.
Idiotic, Childish, Brainless. Weak, Pathetic, Screeching, Dipshits = 69%
Strong, Brilliant, Independent, Awesomely Sculpted Buttocks, Perfect Peons= 31 % no mask
70% of kids still masked while playing outdoors at their school. Many parents still masked and even gloved.
Bastards. Poosee’s. I can’t wait for The Worm To Turn. WHEN that happens, these unpeople need a true ass whoopin
The CDC, yet another political weapon, having as much credibility as the “administration.” directing the “narrative.”
As of the 28th, Costco employees can go unmasked based on local ordinances. No clue how to show a picture of their letter.
All the NGOs in this country have become progressive (lazy communist hives) who are good for nothing and should be completely defunded and everyone should be cuffed and arrested upon their removal.
Yes, when I go into stores, I DO see SOME wwearing masks, many not.
There is only been one place that has been requiring masks to enter, for months and months.
Hospitals and heath clinics.
3 mos ago, a clinic I know of here had someone meeting you outside the door, asking the screening questions and insisting you wear a mask.
Recently I had to take someone there. No person “greeting” you outside the entance, no qurstions, but still just inside the table with the masks and hand sanitiser,..and the sign on the door, that masks MUST be worn.
Forgot to add, in my area even though hospitals and clinics have continued to insist, I know a dentists office that makes it very clear no one has to wear a mask.
Not the receptionist, office people or customers.
Dentist says “I am the only one that HAS to wear a mask!”
I suspect its BILLING; Clinic and Hospital have medicare/medicaid patients, and have been told unless they stricktly enforce mask mandates, they won’t get paid.
Dentist doesn’t take medicare/medicaid.
I SUSPECT thats why the difference.
Thanks for that information.
I believe that the medical profession will be the very last to drop mask mandates, if ever. I’m talking hospitals and clinics. It’s giving people a false sense of security. Tragic. And they are the biggest players supporting and perpetuating this falsehood. I don’t know how doctors can look patients in the eye.
Here in NE Florida most people are not wearing face diapers. The exception seems to be with African Americans and in predominantly Jewish areas such as on Amelia Island. Both of these groups are firm democrat party voters.
Masks and respirators do not work. There have been extensive randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies, and meta-analysis reviews of RCT studies, which all show that masks and respirators do not work to prevent respiratory influenza-like illnesses, or respiratory illnesses believed to be transmitted by droplets and aerosol particles.
Furthermore, the relevant known physics and biology, which I review, are such that masks and respirators should not work. It would be a paradox if masks and respirators worked, given what we know about viral respiratory diseases: The main transmission path is long-residence-time aerosol particles (< 2.5 μm), which are too fine to be blocked, and the minimum-infective-dose is smaller than one aerosol particle.
The present paper about masks illustrates the degree to which governments, the mainstream media, and institutional propagandists can decide to operate in a science vacuum, or select only incomplete science that serves their interests. Such recklessness is also certainly the case with the current global lockdown of over 1 billion people, an unprecedented experiment in medical and political history.

Heidi-can I take you to our School board meeting?
Here in south Mississippi, my guess is maybe 35% of the population is still masking up. The ladies that run a local quilt shop that I frequent has had a strict mask policy. I got tired of humoring them and shopped massless a few weeks ago. When I returned a few days ago, several of the owners FINALLY were maskless. They are in their mid-60’s. When I see someone wearing masks, I immediately identify them as a Democrat.
In Florida, Governor DeSantis lifted the businesses’ employee mandate from wearing masks. We’ll see how this plays out. I feel for the grocery store workers and some restaurants that mandate their staff to wear masks, while the patrons don’t have to wear them. It is way too hot in Florida to wear masks and they actually cause more harm than good. Yet, I see people wearing them in their cars, while they are bicycling, running, etc. Many times people are wearing filthy-looking masks or masks below the nose. Why bother at all?
The evil (yes evil) political elite have really done so much psychological damage to humanity. It’s pathetic. It will take years to recover from this damage IMHO.
Yes, the same in Miami area, people still voluntarily wearing masks.
.
I believe it is the influence of Spanish speaking media, Univision and Telemundo.
Appears Publix-major grocery chain in Florida, is still requiring its employees to wear masks. So sad.
Hard to believe that’s Florida!
I agree! I love your profile pic too. Just saying.
Only time I have worn a mask in the past year is on a plane. Other then that no mask. Not doing it.
Many sheep still wearing them in my neck of NE OH.
They look ridiculous because most don’t even wear them right. It is evident many of them are scared of their own shadow…you can tell. They have the fear of death in their eyes when they see someone unmasked. I feel like saying “BOO” very loudly at them! But I don’t. I smile gleefully and say “Hi” as I pass them in the isle. I know it sets them on fire! Which I thoroughly enjoy too!
Minneapolis, most burbs: Masks and show your FULL vax status at restaurants, concerts. I get ads for orchestra concerts, and I write back that I don’t do Nazi. I understand they are following the mandates, but then, I can’t sit with this on my face, socially distanced. Church has been the most rigid of all. I can’t change this. Does no good to say anything.
I have a personal plan of redirecting contributions to other charities. There’s been a lot of societal breakdown in general. Isolation. I think, from what I hear on CTH, elsewhere, that churches have been unwelcoming, and the old, sick, and lonely have been ignored– Covid, ya know. And a big lack of imagination. Clergy know best, ya know.
That is the sad part. Not all clergy. However, the ones that follow ministering to the old, sick and lonely appear to be a small minority.
Yes, Ninja7. I went to a Slavic Baptist church (huge), invited to see a play production, last October. Stunned at how welcoming it was, participation, wear a mask if you want, etc. I belong to another church, and told fellow parishioners about the experience. “Can we see the play?” I belong to a different denomination. Early in Covid Catholic and a Lutheran denomination made the gov. back off forbidding attendance. Can’t recall the details now. I called the Archdiocese and thanked them. No cigar for my own church though. “We want to provide an example for the Diocese.” E.G. on rigid rules, masks, shutdowns. Omicron, since December. I should post all the “rules.” People may not come back.
The Catholic Churches in NY are the worst.
They kicked out all the community groups like Bingo which the seniors loved, AA, NA, Boy Scouts, K of C, etc.
The pastors near us are sociopaths.
Do I need to point out, the CDC is GUIDANCE, it is RECCOMENDATION, it doesn’t ACTUALLY count, legally as a MANDATE, cause the technical, legal reality is the Federal governments only authority to mandate masks, is on Federal Property, which is what Brandon did on day one.
States and entities may TREAT it as a CDC Mandate, but its NOT.
Its actually like a SUGGESTION.
2020 was rhe year the definition of guidelines changed to equal requirements. See the end of the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie for historical reference.
True, but many actual mandates begin with, “In accordance with CDC recommendations…” So it’s still a welcome change.
Well, you would think so, but I can tell you my company follows the cdc guidance like it is law. They are so afraid of getting sued by someone who gets sick at work that they will only do what the cdc says. This is a science company I work for you, mind you, involved in healthcare. They know it’s bull, but they won’t go outside the lines on anything. Also, part of the WEF. Need I say more? Everyone is really sick of it all at work.
That is sad….they should stand up for their industry!
Walmart in southern middle Tennessee requires masks for workers. My work does too. I work outpatient behavioral health.
I work at NASA. We are required to wear masks indoors and in any vehicle with more than 1 person. Just last week they suddenly began requiring weekly testing for those of us who are unvaxxed.
its all PTSD in western washington. People declaring on social media that they will continue to wear the mask
eastern WA here and I see a few wear masks but in Spokane a lot more do, but I walk into Winco, do my shopping and if asked say medical. You see i have CS aka Common Sense but common sense is not common any more.
Yakivegas here. Have never been questioned when going mask-less, but if I am, I’m stealing the CS idea. Thanks!
My MD wife was “removed from her position” for “refusinmg to Vax”, even though she applied for a “vaccine exemption request” signed by her MD as she has Cancer and a compromised immune system,…per her company’s vaccine policy.
The morning after she submitted her request, per their own Med company policy, she received a curt email this next morning stating ‘that she was no longer employed’ regardless of her request under theiur own policy.
Her employer was then and is still under contract with Phizer,.. you figure the rest. Fascism at it’s best! The Fed Court awaits our response where we Will Prevail.
Her employer was and still under contract from Phizer, and is now guilty of violation of the ADA act and the Fed Drug, Consumer and Cosmetics Act, as will be shown in Fed Court.
Happy Motoring, Fascist Med Firms,… the Bill of Rights and Rule of Law is Still in effect.
Thank you for fighting. No doubt your attorney has considered a count for violating the Nuremberg Code, Crimes Against Humanity for failure to have Informed Consent. There is not available in the US any FDA “approved” mRNA vaccine. We only have the experimental drug here. Since it is experimental no one is supposed to be coerced to take it. The case is US v Karl Brandt, US Military Tribunal, 1947.
Wow, someone with conviction and the means to follow that conviction, very nice to see!
I live in Commiefornia and I am
Stunned by how many people still submit to the ‘mandate’ of mask wearing. They are truly under mind control. More tragic and grossly harmful is inflicting mask wearing of children indoors and outdoors. Most schools require them particularly indoors and sadly children have been scared into compliance and or their guardians so there is no opportunity for rational thoughts and actions to acknowledge the lack of science supporting the wearing of masks. It’s difficult to witness it truly pains my souls to see the child abuse politicians and health agencies have inflicted upon children as well as adults who are responsible for these kids and that includes teachers and administrators. God help our youth moving forward in this Scamdemic.
North Central Idaho. No masks at all.
I haven’t been this whole time in a Midwest leftist state. There have been times when I was the only one not wearing it. Starting to loosen up now but screw these sheep.
I live in a blue county in Wisconsin. We still have to wear masks to work. Two years ago when they made the mask requirement, I got an exemption from my doctor and only have to wear a face shield. It’s like my own personal salad bar sneeze guard.
LOL! Face shields are definitely preferable to the diapers because one can breathe.
Still all horrendous indefensible theater, but there are degrees of bad.
No masks where I live except for employees of major corporations that require them. The public school I work in has never had a mandate. A couple of staff wear them and a few students but the vast majority do not.
I live along the South Dakota and Wyoming border. Same for both states here. Schools have been in person since fall of 2020.
Sorry to hear the rest of you all are still in the grip of this madness.
the psychological damage being done to people is incalculable. Two years of this, now. That’s a long time. Very traumatizing — even if a person resists or refuses to wear a mask (good for them), it is still traumatizing to be surrounded by a sea of covered faces…. especially if one lives alone. It’s so isolating and lonely, to not be able to have one’s smile returned by a stranger or coworker.
Yes, in Hawaii, of course.
I’m a public school teacher in Kansas. Our entire district of approximately 47,000 students and more than 5,600 full-time employees are required to be masked anytime we are in a building. The school board recently decided to rescind the mask mandate at the end of the day on March 10 which is the last day of class before Spring Break. When we return to school on March 21, masking will be optional. However masking is required in all doctors offices and hospitals in this city, as well as in some churches. There is no talk of rescinding the mask mandates in medical establishments or churches that follow the CDC anytime soon, but hopefully an announcement from the CDC would change that.
If/when (I think when) Xiden claims credit for ending the pandemic and directs his tame CDC to lift all restrictions, just make sure you remind everyone you know that he gets no credit.
We the people will have forced the pivot by standing strong against his regime. The truckers, the truthful doctors, the brave people who walked off jobs instead of submitting to body slavery, the whistleblowers, our brave alternative media, and similar in many other countries – they’re the ones who deserve all the credit.
Don’t let him have this!
Guess where they can stick their mask?
Here in AZ, pretty much no masks anywhere. (Proud to say I’ve worn them almost not at all.)
Sure, you still see the occasional lefty weenie masked up in the car; but it’s over here, and really has been for more than a year.
It’s wild that the coastal Californians still prefer to live in submission, even now. Slaves and sheep all.
At all doctors offices and medical facilities in New Jersey.
I live in NH, our Gov. is pretty good – Sununu – he has never entertained the idea of vaccine mandates and the curfews & mask mandates were not long lived.
However, I OFTEN see strangers, young & old alike still masking up & socially distancing 🤨
I remember being the ONLY person in WalMart or Market Basket un-muzzled and thinking “I feel like I can’t see anyone but everyone can see me.” Then there would randomly be that un-muzzled hero and we’d nod our heads & share a genuine smile as we passed. It’s amazing how compliant the masses are, equally as frightening to think about.
Washington state along with Oregon probably has the dimmest, dumbest and most power crazed Govs. in history, and voters too. Every little cold and sniffle produces terrified looks. People rush off to get the flaky PCR test, then if it comes back positive, everything around them grinds to an abrupt halt. We have forgotten what people look like, how much we depend on facial expressions for communicating, how filthy masks are not to mention totally useless. They are a badge of fear worn either by those who are forced into being unfortunate doormats of the government or just plumb stupid
Central Washington State, almost every business still has signs to mask up. The vast majority obey, but I’ve only been asked to mask up once by an effeminate young greeter at a BiMart (regional store that started here in the 50s.) Since I needed an item for my elderly mom, I took what he gave me and wore it under my nose. Other than a few glares and a few people who keep their distance from me, no problems in stores. Freedom feels good.
So, effectively, you can ignore the signs. Biz probably trying to avoid a lawsuit or having the wrath of Gov’nor Jay come down on them. Post, but don’t enforce.
Large Hispanic population and since they have gotten the message that more of them require hospitalization, they have been scared into submission. Schools still masked. Gov Jay is waiting for the cases of Omicron to really subside before he takes off the mandate so he can claim masks worked. I stopped going to public events that required masks or vax passes. Small price to pay for keeping my integrity. I use the Pharmacy drive-thru to avoid putting on a mask. Also drop my parents off at medical appointments and wait outside for them to be done.

Less and less everyday.
Here in southwest Florida all the snowbirds at Costco are masked up. 2/3rds of the people unmasked and the rest wearing face diapers. These people are so brainwashed that masks will be a permanent fixture regardless of any rule changes.
Montgomery County, MD just lifted their mask mandate this past Tuesday. My office finally lifted theirs on Wednesday. At the beginning of the first workday without that rule, most coworkers still wore their mask. By the end of the day, about half had removed them entirely or kept them on their chin. Several were obviously giving it a try: sometimes wearing it, sometimes not. A few people remarked how “strange” it felt, to be able to see each other’s faces, and also how “exposed” they felt, to be showing their face…. but acknowledged that they wanted to push themselves to get back to feeling comfortable and “normal” to be not wearing one.
It has become a way to be in one’s own safe space, for some. It’s almost like you are wearing an invisibility cloak and do not have to interact with people in any meaningful way…. it’s almost been as though you are virtually interacting with people, rather than actually being there in person. You know, how on the internet if you are anonymous (!!!) you feel safer to say certain things and get away with it, but if you have to put your name down, you might guard your words more carefully (?). Without a mask, you are putting your real face forward.
At the grocery, I was dismayed to see that I was still the only one not wearing a mask. People have really been traumatized and beaten down, here. The more of us who take ours off, it will become contagious. We need a return to mental and spiritual health. I’ve found it very alienating and isolating to be surrounded by a sea of masks. This has been abuse of the population.
And after a couple weeks, anyone who is still voluntarily wearing a mask….. it will be interesting to see the percentage. If it is the minority, then I will assume they are fearful and brainwashed. If it is the majority, I will assume there are a number of virtue signaling “go along to get along” types mixed in. I pray it is not over 50% of the population which is so far gone (brainwashed) that they cannot remove this filthy and ridiculous piece of cloth from their faces, when there is no one telling them they must wear it.
Gotta spend more on lipstick, less on mascara….
Not in Southern Oklahoma, but it’s been relatively rare since the beginning. We’re not exactly a metroplex here, lol, but even Dallas masks were scarce a month ago.
I work on a military base so Yes, all Masked up but been loosening up. We don’t have to wear es hole alone at our desks, or outside. This may drop the requirement but we are still getting new cases in this region.
Our requirement will hinge on limiting conditions for operations and whether we have enough people available to allow operations.
We may mask forever military is like that.
Military Intelligence.
CDC late to the party. Utterly irrelevant. Game over.
People’s Republic of the NY Gulag- in the suburbs where I live, Hochul the horrible dropped the mask mandate awhile back but not in the schools where the kids are still being tortured.
I am still shocked at the number of sheeple who continue to wear the face diapers in stores and eateries.
I was in a CVS yesterday in Northern Westchester and more than half the idiots were still wearing muzzles.
All store employees are forced to wear masks in many places and many shops still have signs that say masks are required.
The only difference now is that nobody bothers those of us who refuse.
They have lost so much business that they don’t dare hassle the remaining customers.
I don’t think the Commies are ever going to give up their muzzles.
I went to a job interview in Suburbs of Cleveland and masks were required indoors for everyone. Seemed odd. Same at VA and other Medical places in Erie PA.
Customers don’t have to anywhere in Central and northcentral PA. Only “The help ” AKA the servant class has to at big corporate businesses and restaurants.
Upstate SC – Don’t wear a mask anywhere, including the doctors office. In fact, so tired of the BS, anyone that tells me to mask up gets the middle finger. Tired of stupid people.
Still very common to see them here in Las Vegas even though the mandate was dropped 2 weeks ago. I work at the university and the kids just refuse to let it go. Very sad!
It is called conditioning!
Yes here in CT when in the grocery store I still see
many people wearing masks.. However the school
mandates ends this week and then it is just town by
town basis.
Massachusetts here, you know the supposedly highly educated state with the best schools and colleges? Yeah, dummies here wearing masks at least 90% still. Drives me nuts. Even my own kids insist on wearing masks wherever they go. It’s so fricking stupid.
our town reinstated a mask mandate on Jan 20th, dropped it last week. Still see a bunch of sheep wearing them. I walked around everywhere without it and no one said a word. Went to another town to shop, got told by one guy I needed to wear a mask because the town has a mandate. I said thanks for letting me know and went about my business. Went to another store in same town. They had someone at the store just standing there handing out masks and telling people they had to wear one. I took the mask, put it in my pocket and went about my business. Manager came over and asked me to wear it. I said no I was done playing pandemic. Some back and forth between us and I bluntly asked if he wanted me to leave. He said he wanted me to wear a mask. I said I wasn’t going to do that and I’d take my business elsewhere. Be a long time before I’ll go back there, too. Never had anyone challenge me this whole pandemic except those dinks.
Massachusetts is so sheeplike. Hard to believe this was the cradle of liberty.
Here in Mass a lot of people still voluntarily wear masks. Actually students have to wear masks in schools until March 1st
Yep – but it’s situational too. Within the last month or so of media Omicron fear-porn, mask wearing increased in the grocery stores until there were some days when I was almost the only free face.
However, in my gym, which is a business that tends to lean more towards deplorability, full of strong people of all ages, on the very same days the reverse held true. Everybody there is now flying free faces except for one or two, usually young women. The staff is also free-face.
Many businesses popped Mask Required back up. However, only one of them, in Lexington (uggh) challenged me for not wearing one. “Strongly Recommended” was also a popular sign – and in those you would often see a counter person with a free face.
During Omicron and since I got delta, I have been ignoring all mask signs everywhere except for medical appointments because they won’t serve you at all if you don’t.
I still tend to browse only at any place with Mask Required signs – and without a mask – and never buy in them unless it’s something really crucial that can’t be got elsewhere. Since I also have boycotted Amazon, and since the shortages, it takes some creativity day to day…
