According to the Associated Press, the CDC is likely to strongly loosen their mask guidance tomorrow, dropping the recommendation that masks should be worn indoors. That said, I’m not sure how many places even have a mask wearing policy any longer.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration will significantly loosen federal mask-wearing guidelines to protect against COVID-19 transmission on Friday, according to two people familiar with the matter, meaning most Americans will no longer be advised to wear masks in indoor public settings.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday will announce a change to the metrics it uses to determine whether to recommend face coverings, shifting from looking at COVID-19 case counts to a more holistic view of risk from the coronavirus to a community. Under current guidelines, masks are recommended for people residing in communities of substantial or high transmission — roughly 95% of U.S. counties, according to the latest data. (read more)
Is anyone wearing masks where you are?
Only when going to the Dr. is it enforced. Some are still wearing in stores in eastern TN but most are happily going without.
Same here in Richmond, VA. Folks wear masks if they want (and many do) but no one is hassled or denied service is not wearing. I remain amused when I see folks walking outside, by themselves, or driving by themselves, wearing a mask. Of course, the new litter seen everywhere are used masks. Pretty nasty if you think about it.
My high school freshman in Arizona and two college kids in CA are still required to wear masks indoors at school. Both college kids had COVID in Dec and January.
In Arizona there are always some snowbirds wearing theirs.
I live in the People’s Republic of New Jersey, so mask wearing is common here. What is interesting is that it seems to have decreased significantly over the last few weeks. Maybe people really are finally waking up.
Hopefully blessed relief is inbound, for our military folks & their families. DoD has kept their thumb on this wretched stupidity, enforcing it down to the local base. Strategic readiness priorities and all that/s.
Now time to remove the shots that are worthless
… and dangerous.
Masks ended here last summer. I’ve used 3 since this all started – mostly left in the car for when I needed to visit the post office. Even they gave up by fall.
Dropping the masks is good, dropping the CDC far better . . .
But here’s the rub. Government can drop all the mandates it wants but the corporations won’t follow suit. The service industry is likely to keep the masks and vaxxed/unvaxxed lists forever unless their local or state governments force them to end it. Many employers were ready and willing to go through with firing unjabbed employees and had to scrap those plans last minute when SCOTUS stepped in.
I think there’s a watershed moment coming in the service industry. The local stores can’t get enough people to work in the s$$t conditions of masks and vax. Huge huge lines at many stores because they can only run one or two registers. If they want people to work, they’ll have to stop abusing them.
You are 100% correct. Take it from me I know. Even in Florida it cost me a job just a couple weeks ago. Have forfeited half dozen fairly high paying jobs since last fall. I had been fortunate enough to put back a little. Every time I get a bit down I think about people like Dr Malone and others who have been ostracized to hell and back. Think I may have finally caught a break tho. Some industries are less forgiving than others I suspect.
Sometimes I feel sorrow for the jabbed based on what I know. But sometimes I can feel much anger at them. Most of them are in that 40% go along to get along group. And I don’t wish anything bad on them. However that other 25% or so grrrrrrrrr
it IS maddening. I really do not like my job; I need a higher paying job, but in the current climate and with such a high vaccination rate where I live, employers can pick and choose, and they are choosing not to consider unvaxxed as new hires. I would like to be able to change jobs.
My current employer is NOT mandating the vaxx even though I am the only employee unvaxxed. That is the one saving grace. But I would like to be able to find new opportunities. I am hoping there is a shift, and employers in my industry will return to not caring about one’s vaxx status, because mine is not ever going to change!
The corporation I work for, to its credit, never mandated the “vaxsheens”and was looking at footing the bill for weekly testing for the unvaxxed (probably half of 250,000, so not insignificant) if it had come to that. That being said, they follow the CDC guidelines religiously regarding masks. I’m sure because HR is now the most important division at most companies and they want to blame the govt for decisions. I guess it is the corporate version of “I was only following orders.”
Hopefully, this means I can finally lose the worthless mask (currently I can’t bec I’m not vaxxed and thus, I’m diseased). So done with this political theater.
Oh, all the petty tyrants (actually cowards) of local governments and government schools and fed dependent hospitals and DR. offices pay attention.
The orchestrated demasking is happening now because of the Democrat dependency class is getting their permission/ new orders from the federal octopus.
Yeap, that is definitely the way it is in Minnesotastan.
I hope and pray schools will remove their stranglehold on kids by removing their killer mandates.
Regardless of whatever the Covidian Disease Commission says…there will be people still wearing their face diapers 5 years from now.
Can you imagine how screwed-up they are?
Yes, by believing the one-sided media, anti-social media, and government liars. I actually feel sorry for them. We need to find ways to break through the comms monopoly and get the truth out.
Be sure to laugh and point. Public shame works both ways.
only if they are in the minority, though. If the majority is still voluntarily wearing it, ridicule will not work.
I was at Target in Emeryville CA today — a small city at the foot of the Bay Bridge abutting Oakland — and the sign said that masks were required for the unvaccinated. I was the only unmasked person in this large and pretty store.
I am still seeing people wearing masks outdoors around here.
Good for you! And Karen is a beautiful name. I know many, many nice ladies named Karen and now I think I have just encountered another…
You always had dysfunctional people around you. Now they are easier for you to identify who they are.
You bet. I’ve lost respect for many longtime friends over blindly following masks. I mention the Great Barrington Declaration and it goes right over their heads.
Same here, East Bay Area, I went grocery shopping and to the library, I saw a handful of brave souls in Safeway maskless (myself included) and I was the only one in the library. Nobody said anything to me at the library, even though they still have the mask sign out front. For those who live in other states, they just removed the indoor mask mandate in California on the 16th. Before Covid, I always wondered how Eric Swalwell managed to get elected to Congress, sadly, now I know who his voters are.
Santa Clara County where my 90 year old mother still lives is still mandating masks indoors
That is so funny.
I was up in the Costco in Silverdale, Kitsap County, WA last year… several times.
They had a similar sign: “Masks are required for the unvaccinated”.
I asked the fellow at the front door and he told me “It’s not our job to ask”.
No mask then.
They did get fascist last July though.. for just a week. Until the fascists in Olympia found out something else to pick on.
The Bay Area is Moonbat Central. All victims of the Mockingbird Media.
You are such a Karen. Kidding. I feel alone without a mask sometimes.
The Dali museum in St. Petersburg, Florida still requires masks. A change in the CDC guidance might affect places like that. Incidentally, I’ll be in the area next month. I’m curious if I will be able to visit the museum; visiting it wearing a mask is not even considered.
Nevada got rid of its indoor mask mandate over a week ago; even today half the people (Reno area) I’ve seen are still wearing masks, inside and outside.
I believe the mask wearers will succumb to peer pressure to stop wearing them once they realize they are in the growing minority.
The wearers will cull themselves. Even a dummy eventually knows a dummy when they see one.
I think many of the mask wearers are followers only. They don’t think for themselves, so the nightly “news” has to tell them what to think, and many times what to do.
When another monkey higher on the food chain stops wearing it’s mask, they’ll stop wearing theirs, too.
It’s not a good look for health care workers who are not able to explain the rationale behind cdc mask guidelines. And I’ve asked to the point that “I’m just following the rules” is the answer I receive.
“I’m just following orders” has always been a perfectly acceptable answer. /s
What I was told at my doctor’s office was “We know they don’t do any good, be we’re told to wear them”.
It is how you make friends. I tell them, “I know you are smart enough to know masks are worthless and you have my sympathy having to wear one”.
These little blue masks were designed for the nurse to wear during patient care for a patient on mild isolation precautions usually for ‘flu’ or procedures where there might be a splash of body fluids (if afraid of splash, then one used the mask with a splash shield attached). About 15 minutes, and disposed of in said patient’s room. One and done for one patient.
They were never meant to be worn day after day, for hours at a time while gallivanting all over town or kids sitting in a classroom for 4-6 hours a day.
yeah a droplet mask does not stop aerosols
Definitely not for schools!
My next visit is Mar 21 and if dr still has mask requirement I’m gone.
I was terminated from my healthcare support job last November in spite of my religious exemption and medical letter. Many of my co-workers took the jab under duress and I did feel for them. They were seriously torn but felt they had no choice. That being said, I have lost faith in the entire medical industry. They are automatons who seem to have no ability to think for themselves even though those who’s orders they are following have been wrong over and over and over….
Locally in Wisconsin the lefty public schools are making masks optional next week, So is the city government for its buildings. It will be interesting to see what the hospitals, dentists and doctors do. I suspect they will follow once they feel their fed $$ will not be endangered.
I visited my dentist today and they still push for masks in the lobby – this despite the state no longer having a mandate. Most of the people in the waiting room were women who appeared to be perfectly comfortable wearing the diapers and I wondered if the office was requiring masks to appease Karens. If so, we may be masking in medical offices for a log time.
need to stop going to these medical establishments as their judgement is very questionable based on their following the mindless rules.
I’m in SoCal and it’s probably a 50/40 split depending on the city or establishment you’re in. Areas where virtue signaling is important 50% and up wear them. Areas like Yucaipa and Norco 50% and higher are not wearing them. There are still a lot of people here that do not want to believe Covid is treatable etc… wish us all luck over here.
In the people’s republic of IL, once the governor declared he would end that on 2/28, mask wearing increased, for real.
I was in Target and Wally World and afraid that I would get kicked out for not wearing one…I was the only one.
While in my neck of the FL woods, early Feb., people started masking up again, too.
To some people chains are a sense of security. If someone gives you crap reference “The Bangladesh study” on masks. It’s probably what the CDC will reference tomorrow. Either way just wear a smile everywhere you go and laugh when people look at you with their despair.
In my part of the Soviet Republic of Calimexistan, we have not worn masks for quite a while.
Up in Sacramentograd,
GovernorPremier Loathsom Gruesom hates us, but as one of our county supervisors pointed out, in a public meeting no less, “The Governor hates us, but that’s OK, we hate him more“….I mean, can you image the Pendejo tried to shut down our beaches… sure LA County did, but they are through and through fascists up there.
Of course, I’m in The OC…or as they call it in Santana… El Condado de Naranjas...
The public schools in my city only went remote for three months… I feel very sorry for the kids in the LAUSD and most of the districts in LA and the Bay Area. They got hosed.
Is Tito Ortiz still involved in local politics in HB? The original resistance out there was impressive.
Currently visiting in the White Mountains of NH.
What a sad, sad situation where too many businesses ‘strongly suggest’ masks and openly want different masking rules for vaxxed vs. unvaxxed patrons.
Live Free, or Die? Gone.
That motto has been appropriated by illegal aliens in this country. It’s now more of a demand though.
Personally I’ve never worn a face rag.
I do appreciate those that do as I find it easier to identify f*cking idiots !
Winner Chicken Dinner!!!
The adults may be idiots, but the kids are different. In many ways they don’t have a choice. The schools where I live finally dropped the wear-your- mask- outside rule but kids are wearing them anyway. They aren’t idiots. I laughed when I first read your comment then got real sad. I’m sick of seeing these masks everywhere. It’s depressing. It’s breaks my heart to see how they were and are controlled by f*cking idiots.
Monkey see, monkey do.
Did you do everything your parents asked !
Commen sense would suggest I wasn’t picking on kids .
I still find myself muttering “idiot” as I pass these folks in the stores.
So, if you must fly on a plane to attend work conferences and thereby keep your job which supports your family, are you an “f@cking idiot”?
Asking for a friend.
I just drove 11 hours to a meeting rather than ride a plane.
When the meeting is 24 hours by car each way, that makes it more difficult, especially in winter.
So you took the jab and boosters !
You anwser your own question !
There are other ways to earn money.
Actually, no. The four of us are all unvaxxed.
Covid can be over now that we’ve got war. SMH. I’m in Nebraska; mask mandates were lifted this past weekend, but I’m in a city. Rural counties haven’t had mask mandates in a year or more.
omg western oregon and washington have had masks for 21 of the last 22 months!
the zombies here are insane!
they wear them by themselves in cars
still well over 90 % compliance everywhere all the time!
Yeah…. I recall being in Poulsbo during Christmas of ’20 and a few times in ’21. Many people were wearing masks outdoors and in their cars ( Seattle Subaru With A Mask should be a song ).
We weren’t… and it was funny, sort of like being a white person in Japan. Every so often you see another white person and you make eye contact, smile and acknowledge each other.
Of course, we have California plates in our car… I wonder what they thought of us… The sheep up there think all Californias are from San Franciskovich.
nice people in Kitsap; conformists. Who knew?
The population has never been put to this sort of litmus test before.
This was the biggest shocking surprise to me: how many people just go along with the crowd, unquestioning, and the pressure to conform is intense, but I’m not afraid of being shunned — though it IS unpleasant.
Here in NW Washington state 98 percent of everyone is still wearing masks in most places.
Those of us that refuse have found stores that don’t harass you for not wearing them.
Sadly most of the mom and pop stores were the worst and most vocal mask nazis.
The big box stores say absolutely nothing and have more people like me shopping there instead of mom and pops.
Same in Pierce County. I don’t wear a mask at my local Safeway in Lakewood (haven’t for 8-9 months and nary a word), but I am required to wear a mask at the commissary, exchange, hospital and any other facility (bowling, movie, gym) at JBLM/Madigan — DOD is totally whacked!
Looks like mom and pop have a death wish.
I am a general contractor and have already spent tens of thousands at the big box stores that I usually would have spent at the mom and pops.
Here in Thurston County they have security to chasse you out for no mask, but to just watch as the shoplifters walk out without paying. Maddening.
Daughter and family live in Seattle. My grandson just entered Kindergarten this year and STILL! has to wear a mask indoors and outside. All around the country masking requirements are loosening but not in schools, even here in red Ohio in my red suburb. Nothing but Trump signs in 90% of my neighborhood and surrounding area during the election. Yet our schools which started with optional masks in September quickly went to mandated masks by October – along with sending healthy kids home if they were “exposed”.
Oh yes…in Nashville. My dentists, eye doctor and PCP all still require them…therefore the reason I haven’t been back in 2 years. One actually told me that they are going by “CDC guidelines”! Won’t that be a lively conversation when I go back? LOL
Most people in the grocery store have quit although the workers are still wearing them…guess the store follows the CDC too!
Really? I’m in the Denver suburbs, and I’m seeing even most workers not wearing them, and we had a pretty good fraction of customers not wearing them even before our county mandate was lifted. I’d like to think Nashville is a freer place than Denver….
Oh no…Nashville is libtard city! All the CA folks coming here voting the same way. Our mayor is the brother of Congressman Jim Cooper….libtard. He’s one of the recently announced he won’t run for re-election.
I saw on Daily Mail that there’s rumors of the CDC lifting all mask mandates on Friday. Guess DC is skeered of those truckers!
‘Haven’t worn one at work since July 2020 (open secret) even though it’s required. The only place I wear one now is at the doctor’s office. Thank you Lord for a free Florida!
They need to get rid of the sheep shot mandate.
you are right; what I really want them to do is tell the truth: the vaccines are not safe and effective — do not get them.
However, we are not to EVER discriminate in any way, based on someone’s vaxx status — I want this message to go out to everyone, like a parent or teacher admonishing the kids. It should be absolutely forbidden and reinforced by society.
It’s outrageous that the unvaxxed are treated like lepers by the majority of compliant, triple-jabbed people who were deceived into getting the shots.
Where I live, I am not able to attend dances, concerts, plays, sporting events, entertainment venues, lectures, or go to certain eating and drinking establishments without showing proof of vaccination. (the rules are arbitrary and seem to have to do with length of time we might be in proximity to one another in a closed, indoor space, as well as whether or not we can keep our masks on — so eating and drinking is out of the question! So is standing around, having conversations with one another, with a drink in our hand during intermission). OK, so then let’s just not do any of those things!!! Well….. what is life supposed to be, anyway? The invitations stop coming; my friends can’t include me anymore, because I will be stopped at the door. They feel kind of bad, but they understand it’s my “choice” not to get vaxxed, and they chose to, and they know there are “consequences” to choices, so….. they don’t really understand how I feel, what this is actually like.
Because it’s stupid and arbitrary, and there is no scientific basis for it. The real purpose is sinister.
This needs to end; to become against the law. Too many people are just going along with these “rules” because some government said they have to. And it’s wrong, dividing people, and it is so hurtful to hear one’s loved ones and neighbors, colleagues, friends say that they agree and think it’s a good idea to shun unvaxxed people, to put them at the end of the line (or not at all) for medical treatment, behind “good” vaxxed people.
The killing of people’s good will and humanity and compassion towards one another, through these LIES, is the thing that angers me the most.
“Because it’s stupid and arbitrary, and there is no scientific basis for it. The real purpose is sinister.”
Sums it up very well for both the mask mandates and the vaccine mandates.
However, we should not be too quick to disparage those who did get the shot. I got it and regret it deeply. I didn’t want to and did have some information about problems with it, but not as much information as I have now. I won’t get any boosters, that’s for sure. And I won’t be showing my little white card anywhere even if they’d accept it without the booster filled in.
That is the reason for the masks and mandates -to kill community , fellowship, feelings of unity with others. Stunning success for the WEF .
I’ll give you a hint. I live in Los Angeles… The Valley… Los Angeles Unified School District and the teacher’s union…Eric Garcetti…smh
I’m in socal and many are still wearing masks. I’s say about 50-60% roughly. It shouldn’t come as a surprise the way the morons vote in this state. I guess they think it makes them invincible to the virus. It’s a free country (sarc) so if the lemmings want to wear them so be it.
Yes, the grocery store requires masks, and all of the store clerks are wearing masks, gloves, and face shields. That’s only one grocery store — the main one.
In some of the others, the majority of the customers are unmasked.
A significant minority still ride around — alone — masked in their cars.
All of the schoolchildren are masked, and many voluntarily wear their masks while walking home from school.
I live in zombieland in an eastern state.
In Montana we haven’t been wearing masks, except in healthcare settings, for over a year.
Masks still required in stores here in the bay area, CA. I thought the governor dropped it, but the “health czar” for the county will not. 99% of the people around here still wear them while walking alone outside, too. Sad.
Which county? I’m in Alameda, and went shopping yesterday maskless.
Santa Clara. Still have signs on all the stores. Went to Safeway the other day & the sign said masks “encouraged” so I shopped in the mostly empty store maskless, everyone else was masked. All the other stores I went to said masks required. Everyone I saw inside and outside were wearing masks except a couple people.
Steve Kirsch, on substack, also lives in Santa Clara county. He rails against the health czar here a lot. He linked to a video of a county meeting recently that had a public comment section and all the people were upset about the county vax mandates. Lots of firepeople and policepeople called in and castigated her. She remains adamant that she knows best for us little people.
Good to know that other counties are more sane!
I live in Clallam County in WA state. They love love love masks
You have no idea Sundance. In the PNW it’s a cult! Branch Covidians clutching the CDC bible. Follow the science they say! Until the politics change!
Yes,larger stores, grocery stores and schools in Central Texas still wearing them. Doctors and medical facilities still require them
Maybe this ‘guidance’ will help end some of this!
I’m up the road in north Texas. Clerks and half of shoppers wear masks in the stores. All the workers at an outdoor full-service car wash wear masks.
Masks are and has always been nothing but bullshit. Masks is and always was about compliance, obedience and control by the “Bad Guys”.
All optics so he can read to his followers on March 1st (state of the union) how he has ‘crushed the virus, not the economy’.
Wonder if he’ll mention the 500k+, and climbing, deaths on his watch?
Yes they are in central NC. I think people are just zombies at this point. I haven’t worn one in months.
Colorado: To my knowledge only Boulder county still requires masks. All others have surrendered because the political cost was too high. I live in Jefferson county (“suburb” west of Denver) which is a political joke of a county. Anyway, I had the duty to watch the county health board vote to hastily remove the mask mandate. The board members were exactly who you would envision. Anyway, they all took their turns exclaiming how they were just trying to protect people over the last two years; they were doing their best. It was fascinating to watch them try to cover their butts. They have killed hundreds of people through suicide, drug overdose, and delayed medical treatment. They 100% did not care.
My children go to a school that is liberal. The first day after the mandate was killed only about 5% of the kids wore masks. even the political nutjob parents know that masking is dangerous.
Washington state still has mask mandates indoors and outdoors!
My daughter told me she’s convinced that Seattle will be the last place in the country to drop the mask mandates.
Our so-called governor Insley is supposedly dropping the mask mandate March 21. But everyone is so conditioned here, that it will be interesting to see how many take them off. And yes, Seattle is unique in itself. So predominantly left-wing radicalism. Many will wear them just to make a point – whatever that point may be.
Story of freedom convoy by thr tamara lich accountant

Nashua, NH is mask heaven. I conduct all of my business in the surrounding towns. The seepage of insanity from the people’s republic of Taxachusetts is prominent in the cities, but more blissfully absent in the surrounding border towns.
I live in TN, south of Nashville. We are very MAGA. Thank heaven. We are also a destination area for Californians, and other blue state residents. Most all of them wear masks. I work in a retail farm store no one wears masks unless they moved in from another state. Bewildering.
Just wait until they all vote.
How about people driving alone in their cars, wearing masks, with the windows shut tight? Are they considered a danger to themselves?
And a danger to society at large!
I think so, they are definitely a danger to the rest of us.
It seems majority of employees in central Ohio and NE Ohio are wearing masks, not many customers are wearing masks. I think my son is still wearing a mask at school. I have been wearing an n-95 because I am finishing a month long course of clarithromycin to clear up this mycoplasma pneumonae bacteria that supposedly has been living in my lungs plus dealing with long Covid. But today, I went into a store without a mask and may start to slack off. I just don’t need any more new illness, but I am finishing a course of ivermectin and will be starting the low dose naltrexone as soon as it arrives and then remain on IVM once a week. I just don’t want to get anything else right now, so tired of feeling sick. I had a follow up chest CT and thank goodness no organizing pneumonia or pulmonary fibrosis, something I was worried about. Really hoping the naltrexone is the game changer the FLCCC claims it is with long Covid. Still living on Prednisone, too.
Prayers for your health to be restored.
Thank you, Mari!
South Carolina low country: Was a hospital visitor in November and had to wear a disposable one because they said cloth ones did no good. I also had to wear one in January when visiting an eye surgeon. Other than that, the last time I wore one was in October, 2020. There were a surprising number of people, maybe 10-15?, wearing them at the Walmart grocery sure yesterday and 2 people in the outdoor section of a restaurant, also yesterday. The two people weren’t together and it was in the mid-80ies.
People can wear them if they want to do so but don’t try to force it on me
Here in the twin s**tties in commiemommysota the mandates have been evaporating but the cult behavior has escalated. The more the mandates are relaxed the more stridently the truly virtuous are determined to demonstrate their membership in the cult.
Of course as soon as you get 10 or 12 miles from the core sewers the diapers all are off.
Time to ditch the stupid plexiglass barriers too. They’re even more useless than masks.
And in fact in some cases they have been shown to contribute to the spread by blocking/directing air flow.
One development I am enjoying is the removal or slow deterioration of all the signs on the floors.
I look down on those tattered “distancing” circles and think about the way future generations, provided we fight this trend so history records accurately, will look on them.
I dream of a day young people sit around in cafes and laugh about what their silly great-grandparents did… And then go back to actual jobs and families..
Hoping they include airplanes and airports as “indoors!”
This is another industry that needs to be boycotted until they lift the mask mandates. I’m reminded of what SD has said many times about having to take off our shoes and go through scanners at airport security. Why do we do that again? I forget. Oh yes, it will stop the terrorists from hijacking planes.
IF enough people boycotted them and it threatened their business, they would stop. It won’t be easy. I have grandkids all the way across the country. I could drive, but my husband isn’t on board with that yet.
Sundance aparently has not been to the Chicago area. King of IL has decreed mask mandate until Feb 28.
Idiots here love wearing masks everywhere. I think 90% would have them surgically permantly attached so they could wear them 24/7/365.
Commie Governor Prickster is pushing the state supreme court to force kids/schools to keep masks. Many idiot parents support this stupidity – likley the same morons using thier babies as test subjects in vaccines for embryos… hopeless.
Don’t get me started on mayor Beetlejuice trying to out-stupid the Governenor!
I stopped wearing a mask over a year ago – except airport, hospital, and haircut.
But, I stopped wearing the face diaper today when my socialist demonrat hair stylist did my monthly trim. No one in salon said anything. Gonna try it at airport on Saturday, but don’t think TSA gonna let it slide
Ron Johnson and Robert Malone co-authored this piece:
https://thefederalist.com/2022/02/24/the-covid-cartel-lied-people-died-now-they-say-its-all-your-fault/
Mask wearing is still somewhat common in businesses that work with the Feds and we’ve noticed many stores (King Soopers/Kroger) still require employees to mask up. Just this week, the Sprouts down the street stopped requiring employees to wear them. But they’re really Liberal, and some people are having trouble letting go.
Federal contractors are the worst. They all tripped over themselves to out-Covid their competitors.
Other than the airport and a federal contractor where I infrequently work, I have worn one in 10 months most places. Those that require it, if they try to hand me a mask, I walk out.
In my area there are still a lot of places that push the mask. I’m particularly surprised at how many churches I go to and they all push wearing the masks. Nursing homes, hospitals, are also big on the face diapers.
I am bothered most by the churches though. Where is their faith? Why the over the top fear of death from this? It is disturbing that so many of them panic when you show up and they see you aren’t wearing the ineffectual mask.
A few months ago I was kicked out of a church for not wearing a mask. I should have asked them where, in the Bible, they glean their information concerning who must be removed from fellowship for not covering half of their face.
Pretty sure that’s in another book, an evil book, that forces women to cover most of their body in a rag.
