Comrades, Ontario Premier Doug Ford held a press conference this afternoon to announce he has declared a ‘state of emergency‘ and intends to issue orders against dissident truckers authorizing the police to place them under arrest, initiate fines up to $100k each individual, and revoke the personal and commercial licenses of anyone who doesn’t comply. The rebellion must be quashed, before the citizens start to think they have power.
As a typical DeceptiCon, Premier Ford begins his justification with the feels, and then gets to down to the business of calling the Freedom Protest in Ottawa an illegal occupation. Ford emphasized that workers are not permitted to challenge government. In essence, all your paychecks are belong to us – and you have no right to disrupt economic activity controlled by government.
Referencing the growing cross border blockades and looking/sounding like a corrupt union boss from the 1950’s, Comrade Premier Ford reminded the Canadian citizens that only government is permitted to destroy livelihoods, collapse businesses and create economic pain. The people in/around Ontario are not allowed to disrupt or influence the provincial economic activity; picking winners and losers is exclusively the role of government. WATCH:
CANADA – […] “While these emergency orders will be temporary, we have every intention to bring new legislation forward that will make these measures permanent in law. We are taking the steps necessary to support our police as they do what it takes to restore law and order,” Ford said at a press conference at Queen’s Park.
The state of emergency will make it illegal and punishable to block and stop the movement of goods, people and services along critical infrastructure.
“This will include protecting international border crossings, 400-series highways, airports, ports, bridges and railways. It will also include protecting the safe and essential movement of ambulatory and medical services, public transit, municipal and provincial roadways, as well as pedestrian walkways,” Ford said.
Anyone who doesn’t comply, could face a maximum penalty of $100,000 and up to a year imprisonment.
Ford also said that the order provides law enforcement with additional authority to take away personal and commercial licenses of anyone who doesn’t comply.
The premier noted that the government does not direct police forces but sets the laws in the province.
“This (order) will not impede the rights of Ontarians to peacefully protest. It will provide additional tools to help stop the illegal occupation of Ottawa and the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor,” Ford said. (read more)

Nearly all top politicians attend a limited rage of universities, associate only with a limited range of other people. This creates a kind of inbred classism, elitism and globalism.
They are in essence a tribe who thinks the people they rule cover are so far beneath them they are less than cattle.
Problem is that regular folks seem to think its just stupidity when it isn’t just that. Its coordinated tribal and yes class warfare.
If anything can be learned is that the working classes, working poor and working middle need to be a single tribe too and willing to fight by any means necessary. Folks, remember, there are trillions at stake to maintain this social dynamic. There are congresspersons with very wealthy stock portfolios, guys that trade better than even Nancy Pelosi, like Dan Crenshaw case in point, that need unfettered “trade” and a couple of wars to boost Lockheed and Raytheon shares. These guys aren’t going to back down and be humble. I’d estimate that at least 70% of Congress is against us right now. Those in Congress that are America First are being monitored and intimidated by the DOJ and the Capitol Police. McCarthy is no different than Ford (who looks like the dumber brother to Pritzker). The Executive is a lost cause, and the Supreme Court is unreliable. The entire administrative state works against freedom. What is happening in Canada is a mirror image to what is and will happen here.
What I’m saying is that average people, including myself, are going to have to decide that they are willing to lose a lot, maybe even everything, to grind the elites into submission. I don’t think the truckers are going to win this battle alone. It’s going to take many other unions and associations to create a massive strike and disruption that brings these people to their knees. Where are the longshoremen? Where are our friends in the airlines (did we not support them enough when they protested?). What about general construction? Why isn’t the UAW aligned? They didn’t have to vax under an OSHA mandate so it’s okay? Shale driller and coal miners? If we are cancer to the system as it exists, at least as we can effect in North America, we aren’t metastasizing fast enough to break the system.
The way things look these truckers will get cut off at the knees and stranded. Yes the Canadian government, just as the US govt did at J6, looks indignant and afraid. Everyone has been asleep at the wheel for 40 years while they ate at the trough. But they’re figuring it out and they’re gong to wrap this up, make the system more onerous, and go after any individual group that tries to disrupt the multi-nationals’ commerce again right from the start.
I’m not writing all this to make people despair and throw up their hands. I think everyone has to do a gut check, and prepare to get punched in the mouth and have to get back up.
