How many know how to cook, let alone sustain themselves financially.
Yes, things are bad now, but almost every person in the progressive, leftist, occupy, Antifa side of the political divide have no concept of what is about to happen. It is going to be really interesting to watch how the 20- to 40-year-old age groups respond to a new era of economic scarcity and home gardening.

Canada is attacking the Canadian non-profit “Freedom 2022 Human Rights and Freedoms” which was set up on January 30th after GoFundMe suspended the account.
However, the GiveSendGo releases the funds to the American non-profit “Incorporated Freedom 2022 Human Rights And Freedom Association” which then distributes the funds via Crypto to the #TruckerConvoy2022.
This is perfectly legal. Canada has no jurisdiction over the funds, and the American non-profit is in a friendly state.
What those Bozo’s don’t get is the harder they push, the madder we get and the harder we push back.

I heard a suggestion today. It was good enough to get me thinking that we need to follow through. SD, GenXer here, we saw Jimmy Carter and beginnings of Reagan’s first term. We saw our parents worry and scrimp to barely get by, and our grandparents talked of their Depression- and WWII-era hard times. We watched Good Times, Sanford & Sons and All in the Family. We saw the start of inflation and bad times during 0bama. The Millennials, however, are total noobs. This will be fun to watch them suddenly have real life concerns.
My Gen Z children have almost zero idea what it takes to get by. Not my fault, really, they were raised in a teacher’s home. We sent them to a great charter school in which the rest of the demographic was upper middle class. We were the poor ones. I blame social media, honestly. Everything is curated and the things they see show beauty, perfection, people vacationing, expensive lifestyles and they mistakenly believe that’s the average American life. So they think they’re roughing it when they only order their $14 avocado toast and not a mimosa brunching with their buddies. This is going to be really, really rough. And those that say they’ll be begging for more govt aid…yep. Most of them think more stuff should be paid for. And it’s hard to explain why they should be self sufficient. It’s not even a virtue to them.
Talked to a friend of mine in Anchorage Alaska. He said he has noticed grocery shelves are getting empty, people have slowed way down going to restaurants and people are not lighting-up their houses.
He and his wife are starting to really worry about it. They are 100% in support of the Canadian’s and Canadian Trucker Convoy’s.
Passive support may–at some point–have to turn into hyper-aggressive support if are to turn this Schiff-show around.

Inflation is going to cause a BIG recession and a big sell off in the stock market. I am presently out of the stock market. Powell should have been raising interest rates 18 months ago. If he does not get interest rates up to at least 6-7%, inflation is going to skyrocket and we will have a deep recession. When that happens, the stock market will go waaaaaay (I don’t like using the word crash) down because billions/trillions of dollars will be pulled out and put in CD’s gaining a safe 5-7% interest.
It looks like all Powell wants to do is talk about raising interest rates. He’s hoping the talk will work and he won’t have to raise. But he is so wrong. Is wall street worried. You better believe it. You can’t keep passing on higher prices to consumers forever. They will eventually quit buying everything except necessities in low quantities.
With interest rates at zero, no one had a way to make money except in the stock market. When that money leaves, look out below.
The stock market will eventually recover, it always does, but it make take years, and us old retired folks don’t have many years to wait. Younger folks who do, and buy in low, will make a fortune.

In 1982 the Fed Chairman was a 6′ 8″ man named Paul Volcker. He was by far the toughest Fed Chairman to ever hold that office. One of the Fed’s primary goals is to control inflation and Volcker accomplished by raising interest rates to the highest level ever and engineering the greatest economic decline since the 1930s. Congress would berate Volcker in hearings but Volcker did not flinch. One could smoke cigars in those days while testifying and Volcker would blow smoke rings during his “fed speak” . Congress didn’t really understand what he was saying but knew that it was bad.
I hope we don’t have that type of recession ahead of us. Donald Trump did everything that he could to thwart the stolen election. Our system is set up to divide power. The federal executive can not do it alone. Republicans of all sorts, federal and state legislatures, governors, judges, attorney generals, officials failed to use their power and watched and let it happen. Democrats would have never allowed such an abusive theft.
Now we suffer but somehow it appears that God, in His providence, has turned this theft back upon the children of the devil (John 8). I pray daily that more of our people will see the deception and the lies. Indeed the lies are now easier to see.
