There are two merging inflection points set to hit the public in a few days.
The first, is a much faster collapse in credibility for those who are pushing the vaccine benefit narrative. The second, the more widespread appearance of shortages for food and basic essentials. These two broad narratives are going to merge. CTH will outline the issues as they predictably surface. This outline focuses on the latter, the supply chain angle.

♦ The cross-border vaccination mandate protests by truckers are continuing in Canada and at areas near the U.S-Canada border. The vaccine mandate for the Canadian side began on January 15th. The mandate for the U.S. truckers begins January 22nd. Both groups are currently slow-rolling the protest in/around the border crossings.
A coordinated Trucker Protest on the Canadian side is scheduled for January 23rd {LINK}, coincidentally the same time as a protest rally in Washington DC by members of the healthcare industry. It is not coincidental that retail executives in the grocery industry are starting to prepare people in Canada for major grocery shortages {LINK}.
CANADA – “[…] “Independent grocers are in a myriad of communities in this country where there is no other grocery store,” Sands said. “If those stores close, you’ve got a food security issue.”
Meanwhile, stores are also experiencing a shortage of goods stemming from supply chain issues, including a shortage of truckers, packaging and processing delays and the Canadian winter.
Grocers rely on “just in time” delivery, meaning even transient issues like inclement weather can cause delays and shortages, Retail Council of Canada spokesperson Michelle Wasylyshen said.” (read more)
At the same time the Canadian media start to pick up the downstream consequence discussion – a shortage of products with Canadian retailers – the U.S. side of the equation begins to warn about price increases. This is all connected, yet few in corporate media will elevate high enough to see just how damaging the overall vaccine mandate is in this critical sector that touches everyone’s lives.
The crisis is NOT driven by COVID-19, this crisis is driven by government decision-making around COVID-19. The virus is not causing the immediate supply chain issue.
The virus has negligible impact on this issue. It is government intervention, rules and fiats under the guise of COVID-19 that is creating the crisis.
The media blames the former, the media ignores the latter.
…”Only 50% to 60% of U.S. truckers are vaccinated, according to an estimate from the American Trucking Associations.”…
The emphasis is mine:
BLOOMBERG – “New rules requiring truckers to show proof of vaccination when crossing the Canada-U.S. border are cutting into shipping capacity and boosting the cost of hauling everything from broccoli to tomatoes.
The cost of transporting produce out of California and Arizona to Canada jumped 25% last week as fewer trucks are available to cross the border, according to George Pitsikoulis, president and chief executive officer of Montreal-based distributor Canadawide Fruits.
“The lower the supply, the higher the price. Ultimately it’s the consumer that pays for this,” Pitsikoulis said Monday by phone.
Canada implemented new rules on Jan. 15 that require border agents to turn away unvaccinated U.S. truckers, a move industry executives warned could slow down supply chains that are already under stress. Canadian truckers who can’t show proof of vaccination will be required to quarantine when they re-enter the country from the U.S.
Shipping is expected to get disrupted in both directions, with the U.S. set to impose its own vaccine mandate on foreign travelers on Jan. 22. Only 50% to 60% of U.S. truckers are vaccinated, according to an estimate from the American Trucking Associations.
Bison Transport Inc., one Canada’s largest trucking firms, is poised to lose 10% of its freight capacity as a result, prompting the company to boost wages for cross-border drivers and offer signing bonuses of C$2,500 (about $2,000). Those costs have to be passed on to customers, Chief Executive Officer Rob Penner said.
“We understood that this would be a challenge for us,” Penner said in a Monday interview on BNN Bloomberg Television. “We have lost close to 10% of our overall capacity, with many drivers choosing to opt out prior to the deadline.”
Winnipeg, Manitoba-based Bison, which is owned by conglomerate James Richardson & Sons Ltd., has about 3,700 employees and contractors operating a fleet of 2,100 tractors and 6,000 trailers, according to its website.
There are already concerns large companies will be forced pay up to secure vaccinated drivers, pushing up freight costs, said Ron Lemaire, president of the Canadian Produce Marketing Association.
“I have heard anecdotally that truckers are looking to stop hauling perishable products as there are too many risks if they are delayed in their delivery,” Lemaire said by email, noting the association will be closely watching the impact on the supply chain.
Canadian importers rely on trucks to transport fruit that arrives from South America to ports in the northeastern U.S. A shortage of global containers and truck drivers is already causing shipping delays of as long as two weeks and having fewer available truckers will likely make things worse, said Larry Davidson, president of North American Produce Buyers Ltd. in Toronto.
The weekend before the vaccine mandate took effect, the company had only one truck available to pick up 75,000 boxes of grapes in Philadelphia, he said.
“Thirty-six of 37 loads that were ready for pickup had to wait four or five days,” said Davidson, whose company ships produce across Canada. “We’re seeing the domino effect just continue.” (link)
Fresh produce CANNOT sit on docks and distribution facilities for FOUR to FIVE days.
Remember what I said about fresh products and the importance of manufactured and processed foods?
When fresh products start to become problematic, that ends up with a collapse on the other fork in the overall food supply-chain.
Pre-pandemic, retail grocery stores delivered about 40% of all food consumed, “food at home”, and restaurants, cafeterias, lunchrooms, bars, food trucks, fast food, hotels and other fresh-side venues delivered 60%.
The lockdowns, shutdowns, COVID restrictions and capacity rules shifted this food delivery dynamic to the reverse. We now have more than 60% food at home (grocery store) and less than 40% food away from home. That’s why the grocery store supply chains (including packaging) have been stressed from field to processing, to manufacturing, to suppliers, to distribution centers and to stores.
That retail side of the food equation has been working over capacity for almost two years. This shortage and capacity issue is what is compounding and driving inflation at the supermarket to levels we have never seen before….
Now, stop and think. The current trucker issue is going to not only hit the retail transportation side, but it is also going to hit the fresh side as we are in the time of year when we import fresh fruits and vegetables. Can you see the compounding issue now?
Stored food supplies (raw materials in frozen warehouses and deep cooled storage) are being drained by excess demand in manufacturing. Now fresh food supplies are being drained by a lack of rapid transportation that is absolutely critical.
FUBAR !

Here in South Florida we will be swimming in fresh citrus fruits, fruits coming from South and Central America via ships.
.
No way to get it up North.
.
So much will just rot and be wasted.
This trucker push-back is very important to the cause of LIBERTY and freedom!
And so is the suffering that will result. People are so ignorant. I tried talking about this with a CT idiot earlier today- he jumped right to- well, maybe they should get vaccinated.
I said go jump off a bridge, it’s just as effective. Oh, never mind, you need the CDC to say that …but regardless, jumping off the bridge is more effective at keeping you from getting covid than the vaccine. He said “Jumping from the bridge will more than likely kill me.” I said- yeah, which is why it’s more effective than the vaccine.
He was pissy and walked away. He was pissy cuz I’m right.
👍 👍 👍
Did you know a plastic grocery bag over the head is more effective at stopping covid than an N-95 mask? Similar concept.
Double good with duct tape tightly wrapped around the neck.
Time for the “underground” to start working! This is when entrepreneurs get out there and buy the stuff before it completely spoils and start roadside stands.
I see an opportunity for cottage industries to develop in Florida using all of the cheap citrus. Orange marmalade, frozen lemon desserts, grapefruit cocktail mixers
My Favorite Florida Aunt used to send us a bushel of citrus every Christmas. Some of my best memories are pigging out on that citrus with Daddy and my brothers. It was delicious.
Later on my mom regularly bought boxes of Florida citrus from an Adventist School fundraiser.
If there is some alternate way to mobilize that citrus northwards, it would be so good for people… delicious vitamin C, its terrible to let it rot. Prayers up
A lemon a day keeps the scurvy away… yaaarrrgghhh 🙂
Well, the avocados from Mexico have been really bad this year; lots of hard, gray stuff inside…yuk, both organic and field grade. The only food from Canada I buy regularly are blueberries…but we get those USA ones also and it is very out of season…but can still get them. What else do we get from Canada in terms of food? I can never figure out what Canadians and Europeans do for work…especially Europe…they seem to have money but from where?
Canada will be more impacted in the food sector and we will hurt in parts and especially lumber coming from Canada…but everything is affected.
I saw low inventory of toilet paper and paper towels today in Austin, TX grocery store (HEB) – probably panic buying at this point but we do rely on a lot of paper products from Canada.
and car parts, I read today.
Apples. Our boys drink apple juice boxes; they’re sourced from Canada.
Apple juice comes from China
I’ve also noticed that with the avocados recently, almost like they froze. My worm farm enjoyed them so at least they didn’t totally go to waste.
Avocados 2.29 each in the grocery yesterday.
Didn’t eat an avacado until I was in my sixties.
Me either and I didn’t like it.
They’re great with Mexican food.
In Ontario blueberries, at this time of year, are from Peru….
Here in PA also.
Maple syrup? This afternoon I was at a local supermarket picking up a few items and remembered that we were also out of maple syrup. I always buy a brand that is 100percent maple syrup but not exactly top of the line. I remember it costing between 5 and 7 dollars for the little container. Today the sign next to that maple syrup said $15.89. I stared at it a long time because I really couldn’t believe it. Needless to say I didn’t buy it. We’ll get by fine without maple syrup.
British Columbia is filled with greenhouses that grow many things like cucumbers. I used to live near that Sumas crossing this trucker is coming from.

I think a trucker strike over these mandates could trigger the Junta into Government Takeover of the trucking industry as a matter of national Security.
Then what? Who will drive?
If it happens here, the National Guard can do it…right after their shifts at the hospitals they’ll be working in once all the unjabbed are fired.
Haha, good one betsy!!
You know it makes sense. At least to Biden’s dog and pony show.
pResident Poopy Pants don’t care about you or ANYTHING.
As long as he gets his 2 scoops of ice cream all is right with the world.
Remember the Venezuelian Dictator eating out in Miami at Salt Bae’s Restaurant on fine meats while his peasants at home starved .
That’s your leaders now.
French Laundry anyone ?
National guard or Army. Federal militarization of everything gets it out of control by the individual States. Here in Maine, the National Guard count over 35o working in hospitals. FEMA has 8 ambulance crews here backfilling for local shortages caused by Governor’s vax mandate.
Pete Buttplug will drive them all.
Illegals that don’t require vaccines.
“The Hill To Die On”… We all have to pick a hill or we will not survive! I too will *never* be jabbed..
Lucky for me that I live on a hill, so I can die at home.
I grew up in New Jersey eating only seasonal produce and some canned.
Looks like Nail Soup is back on the menu soon!
Get your loaf pans out, overripe bananas will be cheap. Gonna be lots of banana bread.
Get your baking powder now before the run starts lol.
If you run out of baking powder, you can make your own:
Baking Powder Recipe
Two parts cream of tartar
One part baking soda
One part cornstarch
To make baking powder using baking soda, combine two parts cream of tartar (potassium bitartrate) with one part baking soda (sodium bicarbonate).
If you don’t plan to use it right away, you will want to add some cornstarch to keep it from clumping. It is also a buffer to keep the acid base reaction from happening prematurely. Add one part cornstarch to the cream of tartar and baking soda.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
Good job! I’ve been going through recipes online and copying them down for things like crackers – the one thing I like to buy and not make from scratch.
FYI, you can freeze your ripe bananas right in the skin for banana bread! Defrost & bake as usual!
You can throw your peels through the blender and use them as fertilizer for roses! I used to have a longer recipe including bone meal and greensand, but the blender objected. . .
Frozen bananas are also great in smoothies. I usually cut them in half before freezing for use in smoothies.
FYI: Ever watch a monkey peel a banana? They go at it from the bottom and it is easier that way.
Unpeel em, put in small freezer bag, gently smash flat with hand, roll/fold out air and zip shut/seal.
Usually freeze 2 per bag; as I make 2-banana bread loafs.
I have actually posted about bananas a few times. My grocer, Smart and Final in LA has not had green or greenish bananas for months now.
There are banana docks here and about 2 hours north in Port Hueneme.
When they ship the bananas, they’re in refrigerated holds in the ship with depleted oxygen so they do not ripen. There may be a problem getting the bananas out to distribution causing an abundance of riper bananas which my grocer is getting for a good price.
If this is the beginning of banana issues, then we are going to have tons of bananas here if vax laws go into effect for truckers.
Yes, bananas are gassed immediately in the processing. That’s why there’s a plastic bag interior to every banana box to stop the ripening process.
yes!!!we have no bananas!!! we have no bananas today !!!
I’m Chiquita Banana and I’m hear to say… 🙂
Dehydrated bananas are easy to find. Sprouts sells them.
Bert, I live near Port Hueneme. Try Trader Joe’s for bananas. Plenty green bananas a few days ago.
This triggers memories, riding around as a kid with my dad, listening to this one old cassette tape of Harry Chapin, singing about trucking 30,000 Pounds of Bananas.
The red wiggler worms will be thrilled. I’ve bought overripe bananas for my worms but ended up eating about 1/2 of those bananas because they were still good.
No such good use for the mushy citrus that has been showing up in the produce section.
So pretty much, we can feed the bananas to worms, creating chicken feed, turning the bananas into protein…
I’ll get started right away!
I use worm poop for fertilizer.
My worms enjoy their coffee after I have mine. What they get has more fiber.
All of these boxes we are getting from Wally World or Amazon when stocking up for BidenMaggedon make great worm attracters in the garden. They really like the glue of the corrugated boxes. Great garden and/or fishing bait addition from all of this prepping. Earth worms almost 1/2″ in diameter in my experience over the years. Just lay the deconstructed boxes in a single layer, flat below your soil, seeds and mulch.
I also raise red wigglers. They’ve been loving the icky avocados we’ve been getting, usually two out of four are bad, not apparent until cut.
We are planning on stone soup, but same principle.
Lol that is a really old story 😉
Pine needle casserole here. At least we’ll have lots of shikimic acid in our system…!
Shikimate is supposed to be very good antidote against the spike proteins in the Quackcines.
We had salt soap and clear kool-aid as kids. Will not allow that for my grandchildren. I saw this coming in 2016 when Trump was elected and the media started stirring crapy up for the Democrats. I knew Trump was going to lose because I watched them setting the country up using the same voting process used here in Washington State. Our Secretary of State Kim Wayman is a RINO and has been in on the steal for years. I warned Trump twice. Our SOS is now working for the Biden regime for election integrity LOL!!! It speaks volumes when they hire a Republican.
We will succomb to a thousand small cuts.
No way, this is what winning looks like.
.
Americans are a strong stubborn lot!
Medical clinics and hospitals in USA are denying life-saving Ivermectin medicine even with court orders. Big Pharma doing all that they can to push the vaxx and inoculate us while effective and cheap COVID cures exist. There turns out to be censorship that we have never seen before for those who are looking for these treatments. We say over and over again that indepenedent researchers found Ivermectin safe and very effective for these Flu-Corona symptoms.
Getting Ivermectin is easy https://ivmpharmacy.com
It’s easy to get prescribed, it’s extremely difficult to get a pharmacy to fill the prescription.
America’s Frontline Drs. can write the scripts and one of their participating pharmacies will fill it…the two I’ve used through them are down South. Here in Maine we’ve had 2 Drs. get their medical licenses suspended, pending hearings and review, for spreading “misinformation” about the clot shots and prescribing ivermectin and HCQ. One Dr is mandated to get a neuro-cognitive exam and she was labeled an “an immediate jeopardy to the health and physical safety of the public”.
Might be time to move to “live free or die” New Hampshire.
River pharmacy.com. No prescription needed. I paid $86. for Ivermectin and HCQ included shipping from India.
US Customs is now seizing incoming packages of ivermectin and HCQ so its money down the drain.
I had heard about that. Thanks for the conformation
At this rate real legal drugs that actually work will be the new heroin and cocaine.
Imagine in the very near future having to buy ivermectin from your corner street drug pusher.
Yep, that is where we got ours from as well in August 2021. Thank goodness we got it to because we got COVID in October of 2021. Should have taken the Ivermectin right away but I waited 5 days and it kicked my butt for about 10 days. They have now shut them down.
it isnt easy where i live no one will fill and they are trying to unlicense Dr who did so. but if one can find a dr then send to the pharmacy online
I think you missed the point…. https://ivmpharmacy.com sells you the IVM.
Use Honeybee Pharmacy!
Truckers are a courageous lot.
My take on the vaccine mandate going forward for medical workers is this: They have been mostly silent while at the same time getting paid to distribute and administer the same shots. They have seen things they will not talk about but clearly have seen enough to know it’s not right and they refuse it. Once that is the case, they are no longer accepting a pay check, they are accepting a pay off for their continued silence.
The time to speak out to the public would have been IMMEDIATELY and at ANY time before the SCOTUS ruling.
We sorely lack courage in this country. Some are discovering theirs. Others still say they don’t care.
“…they are no longer accepting a pay check, they are accepting a pay off for their continued silence.”
Exceptionally well stated.
Sadly many of those nurses, aids and techs, must eat and have a roof over their head not to mention a way to get to work. Some of them feel as you do but do not have the finances to quit. About remaining silent if they are not they do not have a job. We are in FL the most free state at this time, you would not believe what is going on in our hospitals. They do not lack courage, they lack funding. Those who could walk have.
Can you eat knowing that you have participated in possibly killing any of your patients?
Imagine you are a car repair person and you knew there was a chance that the part you just installed could result in the death of a passenger or the driver. Could you still install the part into the car? I couldn’t do that. I would feel compelled to at least warn them “you’re taking your life into your own hands here… I can’t tell you not to drive a car with that installed but it’s dangerous.” We get no such courtesy from the medical profession at large. While we have seen some courage demonstrated and they have paid dearly for it… lost their jobs. Some even their licensing. But the majority continue on and that’s a problem.
Some whistle blowers are fake and they enjoy the full support of the political machine. But the medical whistle blowers do not. And what’s more, the political establishment and even the “MAGA” people are not championing this cause.. the most dire cause in our lives… a cause where we could die if we comply.
If the conscientious doctors and nurses were to band together and strike in opposition to what is going on, not just for mandates against themselves but for the blocking of known working treatments and the complete lack of necessity of the redefined “vaccines” this would call an end to the whole thing.
This argument of “just doing our job” is feeding the problem of global tyranny. It would STOP TODAY if the medical people came together to stop it.
Daniel, you have hit the nail on the head. My story is like so many others, of whom some are Yes daddy longer with us. I was diagnosed first week in September at the VA hospital in North Hampton Ma. I waited in my car for the prescription to come to me outside. I asked the Doctor for Ivermectin and was told he couldn’t proscribe that and was sorry. Meds was a Z pack. On day 6 the meds were gone but now I couldn’t breathe. An ambulance dropped me at hospital where I spent the next 18 days. On day 2 my heart rate was 180 bpm. The Doctors wanted to incubate but I refused and again asked for ivermectin. This time the told me it was poison. I would not be resuscitated if I refused incubation. Also was treated with remdesivir a drug the nurses called death is near. My kidneys were being affected by the remdesivir but luckily the 5 day treatment expired. Every doctor I came in contact with pushed the vaccine. I lived because one cardiologist lowered my heartbeat to normal with hourly injections of morphine. Prayers and a great desire to live got me home. While at hospital nurses told me 75 % of patients had the vaccine. I saw them wheel out 3 with their faces covered. All had been incubated. As far as I’m concerned the majority of those who deliver our healthcare are lying sacks of excrement. Cowards who will sacrifice the life of those who trusted them with their life and health. I’m 75 years and I good health again and could care less about receiving any advice from those cowards.
Thank you for that testimony
I ❤️ your story, good for you!!! God bless you with many more years in good health.
Corporate America criticize the population who depends on welfare calling them slaves of the government system and hands out, while at the same time they don’t realize they themselves are also slaves of their lifestyle. Both being in the same situation slaves nevertheless.
I retired last year after working in the legal profession for half a century. Thrice in my career – long before retirement and when I was supporting my disabled husband and a minor child – I stood up to HR and came perilously close to being fired. The details are too long to mention here. Suffice it to say I stood up to some Draconian measures being implemented in the workplace – but those measures weren’t anywhere close to refusing proven medical care to grievously ill patients.
Respectfully (to you), I cannot condone those in the medical profession who are choosing a paycheck over the health of patients. I made a choice, three times. They haven’t made the morally correct choice.
Am I being judgmental? You bet! My designated POA already knows no ventilator for me. Indeed, no hospital. They’re not going to make 39 grand off me when my life could be saved with a $39.00 Ivermectin prescription.
I do not assume that all of those who quit did so because “they could afford to”.
We’re talking serious side effects and quite possibly death.
To continue to participate in this makes you complicit.
Nurses in Spain are injecting people with fake vaccine in order to keep their job and not cause any harm. Sad but true
I rather starve than consciously inject a child with a kill shot I know will either permanently disable or kill the person. Money must not be an excuse to such an act, I rather beg my local grocer food to feed my children
Complying to tyranny has never resolve the country’s problems, it is that same actitudes that creates totalitarian regimes. Our society is slave of their life style they are terrified of lacking comfort and luxury. Pathetically loosing their humanity.
Remember all those Practical Prepper shows where they said this scenario, total collapse of the supply chain due to rogue governments destroying the economy that will probably end up in martial law, was not even a remote possibility? Who’s laughing now experts?
Hope you heeded their warnings. We did.
My husband thought I was crazy last year. Now every time he leaves the house to run an errand he asks if there’s anything else we need to hoard, lol.
I don’t look at it as hoarding, rather being prepared. Also looking out for my elderly mother in-law who buys the bare minimum each week, not out of financial need, it’s just her habit. She wouldn’t understand if we tried to explain.
Back when the china plague was looking to be a control mechanism I posted on this site that the two greatest motivators are fear and hunger. It was not taken serious and I was told that our supply chain was too robust. Well here we are. I don’t blame the dissenting voice, this is getting crazy beyond any frame of reference we’ve had in recent USA memory.
I do remember. Now I see the “preppers dilemma”.
Did preppers buy enough for every person they care about?
If we won’t let them jab us, they’ll starve us.
No starvation.

We have a bountiful land teeming with fish game and fertile land to grow home gardens.

No I am not righteous BUT I follow HE who IS.

These people are sadly deceived. I never understood until now how so many people would willingly take the mark of the beast.
Hunting has seasons. Get caught hunting out of season in any state and you get fined, lose your hunting license, and sometimes they take your weapons.
The only place where hunting can keep you alive is rural areas, VERY rural when TSHTF.
Every game animal in a radius of X miles will be gone right quick when every Tom, Dick, and Harry start blasting.
The point is that ya gotta live in a sparsely populated area if you’re gonna rely on hunting to feed you and family.
It was written in 2009 but the book “One Second After” is timely today.
Great book! As is the sequel, One Year After.
i think I might just have to re-read them.
Thanks for the reminder.
Read that cover to cover in 4 hours. Was stunned how knowledgeable the author was.
I read it and found it extremely scary that it was a realistic telling of what might truly occur. It gave me nightmares and anxiety. Therefore, I didn’t read the sequel. I believe an EMP would destroy most, if not all, of the population and would make the jab look like a nothingburger. If one recognizes Christ as his Savior and has not held a strong relationship with Him, it is now time to walk humbly with Him.
I re-read One Second After last week. Upon re-reading, it seems the tale had more value in the society management issues than prepper advice. I’m about to re-read Alas, Babylon.
Both good books. Surprisingly World War Z (the book, not the movie) has a lot of information that could be useful in a TEOTWAWKI scenario.
You make a good point. That’s why you need a bunch of Conobear 330’s to “trap the varmints (T,D and H).
Then you may have a better chance of bagging some edible game.
Trappin’ and Huntin’ in the 2022″s……..there’s gotta be a song in there somewhere.
Here in Northern Georgia, we got plenty of wild rabbits and squirrels. I just have to set some traps. It’s much quieter than shooting and takes only a few feet of twine.
Right on Bob.
De-population has always been the goal.
Well then they, (the nasty people who want to de-populate this earth), should begin killing off their closest family members, and when they are done with killing all their extended family members they should have the decency to kill themselves. Mission accomplished.
The rest of humanity lives happily ever after.
I agree.
Indeed, and Planned Parenthood and convincing people they are different genders wasn’t working fast enough!
The very idea they have managed to brain-wash so many into thinking sexual preference makes them unique, is astonishing! The sexual preference of a pedophile is also unique, and all should be equally as dead!
Get planting ASAP.
The destruction coming out of Imperial City DC has gotten even more peculiar this last year; it is so convincing, that when it strikes a thing it doesn’t leave enough of that thing left for you to tell … … well … … you would think it had once been something valuable and Joe Biden had been there.
You could put that up every day and I would upvote it!
If you havent prepped with food supplies already then be ready for some real tough times. FJB.
Glad I grew up poor. 😁
So many folks, though I believe few here, suffer from linear thinking. Everything was fine yesterday. Everything is fine today. Therefore everything will be fine tomorrow.
Brilliant series. This first one is about what happens when a modern supply chain falls apart. Note that his opening elevator ride is in one of the World Trade Center towers.
James Burke Connections #1 – The Trigger Effect
I had the pleasure of watching this series as curriculum in Jr High. Shaped my worldview and sharpened my intellectual curiosity. Thanks for posting this Winston! Concur, brilliant series.
aka Normalcy Bias.
The opposite of that also applies. Too often people assume the worst-case scenario, and that’s actually worse sometimes than just letting things ride because people over-correct. The stock market crash in March 2020 was utterly predictable. Those who kept their heads made a fortune (or at least came out 6 months later no worse than where they left off). I suspect the same is true here. People who have prepared for slim times will not notice much because they are not going to the store every day living hand-to-mouth.
The issues are going to be the urban and urban-corridor types who really do live hand-to-mouth.
Inside the US, there is no vaccine mandate for truck drivers and I doubt the big trucking companies will enforce any previous mandates they had put in place which OSHA can now no longer enforce. Supplies not being shipped over the border get redirected inside the US. If we’re not feeding Canada, there’s more food for Americans.
Grapes no longer bound for Canada can go somewhere else now…most likely into American grocery stores.
Canada is, in effect, blockading itself, which is tragically hilarious.
I’m not saying that the cross-border mandate on 1/22 isn’t going to have consequences. I am saying that it’s not going to be felt fast because the US has much greater port capacity than Canada does, and products Canada no longer wants (that’s what their mandate means…they don’t want food) wind up on the shelves of US consumers.
> Inside the US, there is no vaccine mandate for truck drivers
As Sundance has pointed out a few times in other articles, inside the US there still is – but enforced by the DOT. Buttgieg is head of the DOT. It comes into effect Jan 22. I have no idea how it could be enforced…
IIRC, that’s a cross-border requirement. Inside the US, unless the truck driver works for a trucking company with an internal mandate, there is no mandate that domestic drivers be vaccinated. I think many or most truck drivers are independents or smaller companies. And I doubt the big companies would enforce a mandate without OSHA enforcement. Why spend the money fighting with people?
The cross-border one is enforceable because you have to go through whatever the trucking equivalent of Customs is at the border crossings. (I have no idea how that works and won’t pretend that I do.)
At any rate, any product going through the US that is bound for Canada probably gets redirected if it isn’t shelf-stable. That helps Americans, and I’m fine with that. Canada can suck it.
I hope you’re right, but this time of year, we rely upon much produce from South America. After a little suffering to clear people’s heads, Gov. DeSantis could be a national hero if he implemented a plan to get more of that produce into FL ports.
President Trump, a genius with regard to logistics and business matters, would be an ideal partner to save the day.
True, but that’s not a trucking/shipping issue from the US port to a US destination, and I don’t think there’s a mandate that domestic truck drivers need to show proof of vaccination to deliver in the US. Any state that tried to impose such a requirement would be driven-around. Look what drivers did to Colorado over that wrongful conviction – Gov. Polis had no choice but to commute the sentence because it is super easy to take I-80 and I-40 to go around Colorado (I-70).
This feels like a slow bleed type of situation, to me. If it’s a cliff-drop, so be it, we’re as ready as we realistically can be here at the house and many of the lists of things Sundance writes about are things we don’t buy anyway (e.g. heavily processed foods, wet pet foods, processed potatoes, etc.).
I worry more about my kids who went back to college last week, and that if there’s a food crunch that they’re not in a situation where they can’t find food. I would get them home asap if that happened, but it’s still concerning.
I’m not trying to give the Buttlicker any ideas but the only way to enforce it is to make it a condition of obtaining/renewing a CDL
Truckers are already thinking that way. To get a CDL, one has to pass a physical once every two years. Many are getting their required physicals now (required for CDLs) so they can keep trucking until 2024.
Of course, there are other reasons they could not renew a CDL…..
There ARE trucking mandates within the U.S., but there are surely ways around that.
Your kids off at college will be fine. Bring them home if they need feeding. 😉
It may not be the trucking companies that issue mandates as much as those accepting delivery: my brother, who is a trucker, said Hormel requires all the truckers who deliver livestock to them to be vaccinated.
Not sure sure how common this is, but thought I would mention it.
too bad their bitching at one another right now 🙂
…says an anonymous source close to the matter.
My brother-in-law is a truck driver with over 20 years experience. He lives in Texas, as do we. He was just made to get a shot or loose his job. He is thin, exercises, eats well, takes vitamins and supplements. He also had covid and came out of it ok. He did not want to take the jab, but needs his income. We tried to get him to hold off, but his boss in California demanded it. So he took the jab. I pray for him, and all of us, daily.
Called normalcy bias….deadly
I didn’t plan this far out, but when I left SF Bay Area, in June 2020, for a small – 3500 pop. – rural, agricultural town it was because I knew Hitler Newsom was going to become more totalitarian plus I wanted to be around like minded people.
Nestled at the base of a mountain range where our water & electricity come from, this town also locally sources it’s meat & dairy.
EVERYONE has a sizable garden.
Man did I get lucky! You can’t find housing here. Nothing available. I literally got the last house.
Where is this?
Southern Utah, approximately 90 miles north of St George but a million miles away in terms of culture. Plus we’re an hour from the nearest Walmart, which is a big bonus.
Drove out to adopt a dawg, and a month later I was living here.
That’s the best way to find some place to live; just by chance…….
CONGRATULATIONS! Stay away from the casinos, Joe. You’ve used up all your luck already!
I have every damn vice known to man… except gambling! We actually have a local bar and I’ve only been once, but have been hunting many times. Guess I’m coming around.
Get your pup at Best Friends? Good place.
No, he was a failed cattle dawg, was put in a cage and forgotten about under horrible conditions. I got wind of it and came out and got him. Feeling pretty good about saving his life when it was actually him saving mine. He was impossible for about 9 months, bite anyone but me who came near. Now? An absolute sweetheart with a glorious yard to run free in and a mountain range to tramp thru.
Joe – yours is a *terrific* American story. – don’t care who dies in a movie, as long as the dog lives :):) Nice to hear in these dreary times! Oh & FJB!!!
Hilarious! God love you. Oh and FJB!!
good for you!!!!
Good for you, Joe. I have two adopted cattle dogs, one of them came from horrible conditions and was a mess when we got him. He, too, will bite people but is getting better. He only likes me. Best dogs ever!
He really is fine dawg now. Unfortunately, I have to walk him on a leash because he will chase deer to the ends of the earth.
Really glad to hear you took on a couple yourself. If he’s anything like mine he’ll come around.
Hi Joe, this fellow Utahn is not that far from you….
Hi Soozword. Pleasure to meet you. If you are original stock Utahn, thank God for your hearty ancestors. Their independent mind and planning are a great gift to their progeny and to a few lucky scaliwags, like me. Fun fact: I did play football for Weber St.
How far is Huricane(sp) from you?
Guessing about 80 miles since St George is about 90. I’m in Beaver.
I’ve always heard “It’s a dog’s life” and you’ve proved it. Great story and good luck!
edited to ad: Oh & FJB!!!!
You know… Calimexistan is a huge state…. there are many parts that are still California.
Down here in The OC, we still have a semblance of normalcy. Our County Supervisors hate Gruesom Loathsom… they went on record about that: ” The Governor hates us, but that’s OK we hate him more!“.
We may be 400 miles from San Franciskovich and Sacramentograd and just south of LA County but those clowns are like a million miles from us too!
And, I got like five Costcos within a 15 mile radius ( Walmart? What’s that?).
Utah, to me, is “too white” and too dry.
I grew up in the OC when it was paradise. It’s an absolute traffic hellhole now. I won’t even visit. Living 25% of your life on a freeway is not living.
Silence from the GOP RINO’s is maddening. They are destroying our economy and our freedoms and they sit on their hands like they can’t do anything. I hope the truckers cease any distribution of any kind into DC. They need to suffer the most.
I wonder what happens when the DC suburbs grocery stores start running out of food.
Sure hope the truckers prioritize any boycotts for this area.
hey, regular people live in the DC suburbs and did not cause this. You had better believe it will be the little people that suffer from food shortages — not congress, not the tyrants. They have plenty.
I do know for a fact there are many idiot bureaucrats living here, but that doesn’t make them evil. There are a lot of good people here.
The DC suburbs are already having shortages on the shelves, and people are beginning to notice. But most people haven’t put two and two together yet, and are figuring it’s “oh, those supply chain shortages” which are “just temporary” and “oh, it’s the cold weather — kept the trucks stuck in Pennsylvania so they couldn’t deliver.”
I’m aware of and sympathetic to the “regular people” who live in the DC suburbs–the decent always suffer as much and usally more than the wicked.
That said, of the 17 (and that number may have changed slightly since I last saw it) wealthiest counties in the US, all of them surround DC.
Already happening – read an article on shortages in DC (can’t remember where but not long ago). You should hear the snowflakes screaming about the shortages already.
Used to live in one of those DC suburbs (in VA). Got out when I could. I have no pity for any I left behind.
Silence from GOP RINO’S is expected.
There IS NO GOP as SD has shown in blog after blog after blog .
They are all (Congress et al) one big happy family living off the blood, sweat and tears of Middle America.
President Trump did a great job opening so many eyes to the truth.
Hopefully the Trucker’s middle finger to this BS mandate will educate a few more……but I’m not holding my breath.
Blackmailed!
Hmmm, or they and the Commie Dems have a mutual enemy…. US
Nope, don’t let them off the hook that easy. The RINOs got to DC, got a taste of the power, and they ran with it. Blackmailed, my a$$.
Let’s see………….
1) So Omicron moves fast and has over taken Delta to the point some say Delta is now gone
2) Omicron is MUCH milder than Delta
3) We know the jab neither protects from infection and/or from transmission
4) We know from UK and Israel data Booster 4 doesn’t work well on Omicron
5) Most in the US will get Omicron whether they know it or not
6) Post Omicron all who got it will have some level of natural immunity.
7) Basically in short order, 2-4 weeks my bet, the vast majority of Americans will be protected as Omicron came and went
But Biden and his behind the scene puppeteers would rather see people go without food and destroy our entire food supply chain all for a jab mandate principle that has virtually zero effectiveness and no impact at this point due to the speed and mildness of Omicron.
This in of itself shows all just how purely evil these people are and should NEVER be given any power or control.
Bogey, your lists always make me smile!!! I am extremely anal, and my family jokes that I make lists of my lists (true). Your posts are appreciated more than you can imagine.
That makes 2 of us……and we know 2 plus 1 = 3 Billion!!!!
Excellent points as usual, Bogey.
I’d say you’re ON PAR by now.
Even if the Omicron does its thing creating herd immunity, they will deny that that thing exists and accuse everyone of talking about it as conspiracy theorists. It will the latest in long line of true things that they insist are false.
They stole the power!
I’d be willing to put up with higher prices temporarily if it leads to Trudeau’s demise. Should be interesting watching him hide and deflect. At first weather will be blamed, but the unintended consequences of his decisions will be hard to hide from.
But expect zero criticism from the lapdog media.
But expect zero criticism from the lapdog media.
THEY are the ones who need to starve.
While freezing in their solar/wind powered pods…………
My stepdad is a long-time commercial truck driver.
I will have to open a line of communication so I relay any word from him I get on these developments and related news.
He operates in the Midwest around Wichita normally.
And, most comically, “a truck driver spends most of his hours in the cab by himself.” The chances of him ever encountering “COVID” are functionally zero.
These are simply “public health (sic …) officials throwing their weight around.” When they have absolutely no concept of what they are doing. They have no realization that there will be terrible consequences.
Nor that those consquences will very soon come crashing down on top of their heads – “and then they will be gone.”
The job of a bureaucrat is to make life as difficult, tedious and frustrating as humanly possible. It is NEVER to facilitate or improve the lives of anyone–it is the opposite, to make life quite unpleasant.
I’ll gladly endure some pain to help support these truckers, and everyone else, from not being forced to take an experimental vaccine that doesn’t do the “vaccination” part.
I wonder how many truckers have seen this video?
https://rumble.com/vru1up-organs-of-dead-vaccinated-proves-auto-immune-attack.html
Truckers hold the key to returning normalcy and common sense to this screwed up world. I would never proclaim to push responsibility onto any one group, but recognize that truckers have leverage that most do not enjoy. Thank you to any person or entity that is working towards freedom.
The medical community should have been the one to stop this a long time ago.
They will most likely never recover from their sell out.
The problem is that CMS (Medicare/Medicaid), i.e. the Federal government, controls their income, either directly or indirectly.
No, the problem is they care more about their wallets than their ethics.
Who is John Galt?
My personal care provider (MD) worked under a major hospital system’s (Ascension, the nation’s largest Catholic and non-profit health system) umbrella, basically as an employee. When their mandate went into effect in December, he walked rather than take the jab. He now operates a one Doctor office which I will patronize and promote faithfully.
You are very fortunate. I pray that many more patient-oriented clinics spring up nationwide.
We just had a meeting in Boise, Idaho to do that very thing: set up outpatient and urgent care clinics as PMA’s (Private Membership Associations). It is going on in education, food and now healthcare. It’s building a clinic from the ground-up, literally if need be. Owned and funded by the providers and community members who pool their resources, gifts and skills, it restores the traditional doctor-patient relationship, and NO OUTSIDE ENTITY (read: government at federal, state, or local level) can come in and say how things must and cannot be done.
PMA’s are legal and have been operating for decades as a way of keeping government overreach and meddling out. For example, your local wine club can be a PMA: no government can tell it when to meet, where to meet, what to charge, what wines to drink, how long each vintage can stay on the shelf, etc. Healthcare PMA’s would be the same: no government can mandate anything or anyone inside their walls.
Anyway, the meeting we had tonight in Boise was attended by 500+ people, about half of whom provide some sort of medical service (doctors, nurses, admin, staff, etc.) We’ll start small and work our way up. Apparently, healthcare PMA’s are happening across the country and are at various stages of implementation. All are thriving, as the demand by the public and many in medical profession is huge.
In more ways than one, they will never recover. I had very little trust in the medical community to begin with — now that is all gone. And I’m sure not the only one.
Many of us tried. Some followed through; most did not. I walked and am now an independent contractor. Not easy, but NO WAY was I going to stay and work for tyrants.
My case is only one data point. Soon after I got the vaccine, I had a recurrence of an auto-immune condition that I had put behind me back in 2010. I went back to my specialist that just happened to be one of the doctors on the research team for the vaccines at a research hospital that had tested the vaccines. He agreed that the vaccine may have set it off and said that if the vaccine caused it, it would get less severe over time without treatment. That is exactly what happened. It is also the main reason I will not get any more.
I often wonder why he was so certain of the possibility and how my condition would get better on its own. I have also wondered about those who may have much more severe auto-immune reactions and not even link it with the vaccine. .
There have been recent stories about how much worse season allergies have been. Seasonal allergy symptoms are actually overcharged immune system responses to the allergen. Mine have certainly been worse.
Another one of those things that makes me go hmmmmm.
I am sincerely saddened to hear of the return of your auto immune condition. I declined the jab due to my cancer. I did not want anything messing with my immune system as I fight this battle. I am not judging, quite the opposite. I am FURIOUS that so many people have been deceived by those who are not looking out for their best interests. I will pray for your recovery, and please know that I am sincere in my heartbreak for you and others who have been betrayed by those we trusted.
Exactly why I declined. I did cancer treatments in 2019 and have spent the last 2 years doing everything I can to “build back better” lol my immune system. No way was I going to jeopardize 2 years of work for a malady that is 99.98% survivable.
Though my decision was based on my cancer, all of the data that has come out regarding the adverse effects and failure of the jab has confirmed that I made the correct decision.
My sentiments, exactly. We’re together in the same boat here. Next month I will be starting in on my third year with my battle. So far I’ve been able to stay in front of it, but it hasn’t been without a great deal of pain, both mental and physical. I’m all too familiar with anesthesiologist’s needles and the view from inside the operating room. The oncology team has been great. They’ve kept me alive, so far. Through it all I’ve only been asked once if I’m going to get vaccinated. Publicly they would like me to be vaccinated, but when I explained my concerns they were quick to agree that I need to be careful with experimental vaccines on top of the experimental cancer treatments I’m taking. They simply can not answer my question about how the vaccine would affect treatments. It’s all too new. The numbers just aren’t there yet. However, I got the feeling that the doctors were being encouraged to push the vaccinations. This was before the reports started to come out detailing the problems people were having with the vaccine. I’m not asked about vaccine status anymore. We just follow protocol in the clinic with the masks and go on about our business. I’ve known a few who succumbed to the virus. I know many with cancer. I know which one frightens me the most.
Hopefully, this will hit the “Whole Foods” groceries harder than the rest. Think global, eat local doesn’t work too well because of conspiracies like “winter”.
Sundance, I cannot thank you enough for this series of articles. What is surprising to me is that there has not been a run on the grocery store shelves (yet).Even with all the people hash tagging about empty shelves, and the MSM picking up stories on shortages (daily) it still seems the majority of people are not concerned. I figured this weekend we would have seen stores starting to really get cleaned out as people realize how serious our situation is. I guess normalcy bias still runs strong among the masses?
The willfullyblind look at all of the warnings thousands/millions of people post, and attribute them to “right-wing” and conspiracy theories. After all, they have been assured by the fovernment that all is good, and their sycophant selves gobble up the propaganda. Wait until they get a reality check when they cannot feed their families.
Good grief. My sausage fingers. “Willfullyblind” should be separated, and “fovernment” is obviously “government”.
I read it as foreverment. So it made sense to me.
Your interpretation is much more accurate!
nw cd, jst drp th vwls? n mr spll chck, n mr srvlnc!!
Rgr tht!! I dn’t thnk th Lft hs a clue……oops…I man ps.
And Democrats will blame it all on Greedy “Big Corporations”.
I went shopping this morning and a few things stood out.
Where are you??
Agree went to store after work on Tuesday. Definitely better than this weekend. I assume they got some supplies in. Maybe they get deliveries on mondays?
Last week at our local grocer all the tip of asparagus were a mushy oil. That’s a first where I shop.
I wonder if my former friend and lawyer who says he watches CNN and FOX news to be fair and balanced will ever feel the impact of reality in his $600 hourly rate income bubble.
Aristotle on Tyranny:
Another art of the tyrant is to sow quarrels among the citizens; friends should be embroiled with friends, the people with the notables, and the rich with one another. Also, he should impoverish his subjects
All the money in the world won’t buy food that isn’t there.
I think the Trudeaudos and the Bidenistas and their handlers WANT this supply chain disruption. It gives excuse for them to nationalize and take it over. It is essentially what has happened in medical industry over the course of many years and now suddenly with the food supply.
Nationalization of these industries will make both Canada and the US full communist in the blink of an eye.
Too many LIVs will beg the gubments to intervene because they are hungry and conditioned to turn to the gubment anyway.
A free, competent, able bodied person does not want the gubment to touch ANYTHING in their lives.
More proof that government does not really care about the people.
These CEOs are a joke. They just HAVE to raise the cost, which of course is passed onto the consumer. They are in no way supposed to lose anything. Just tack it on to the consumer. i.e. when cars started getting better mileage and the gas companies sold half as much gas, they simply doubled the price.
Eff Carhartt work clothes. CEO says who cares was Supreme Court says – take the jab or you are FIRED
“Carhartt CEO Mark Valade sent an email to employees stating that the Dearborn, Mich.–based workwear company founded in 1889 will require workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Workers have to be vaccinated by Feb. 15.”
From Market Watch article.
I don’t want to hear a single Democrat complain. They want the green deal, they now have it! Let us see them feed themselves. Bunch of brain-dead fk-wits!
The only problem is that for many of them it’s a de facto religion, and they are willing to sacrifice themselves, children etc, to the Collective, and will happily drag us down with them.
As I think through this, I believe that Canadians will be the ones initially hurt the most. Fact: The Canadian population is about the same as California (~38 million people), but the Canada geography is 25 x the size of California….very spread out.
By category, it seems there is a larger proportion of perishable goods flowing north to Canada and non-perishable goods flowing south to the U.S. For example, there are a lot of fruits and vegetables going to Canada, while there is a lot of lumber, paper goods and … maple syrup flowing south. There are many other non-perishable categories like automotive components, machinery, plastics, etc., but you can do without those types of goods for many, many months.
Canada is the #1 export market for U.S. agriculture…that is very bad for Canadians that rely on the U.S. for food. So I believe the fallout from this cross-border issue will be felt way sooner in Canada than the U.S. It will likely come to a breaking point in Canada, before any serious effects are felt in the U.S. It is hard to see how the Canadians aren’t the guinea pigs in this experiment.
Mostly agree. But, I believe Canada has been packaging/processing and returning finished food products to the US, and that food processors rely (at least to some extent) on packaging that comes from Canada to package finished food products for sale in the US. As Sundance has been telling us, it does no good to have food at the processors who are short on packaging materials for retail sale on grocery shelves. I believe Canada will get the worst of it, but that we will feel the effects in the US shortly.
Is there a silver lining for us? If food products in short supply can’t be shipped to Canada, that should mean more for us, right?
How many of those huge frozen food storage warehouses are in Canada? Seems like a more likely site than Texas or Florida.
Nope, our supply chain is already stretched to the limit and if this trucking impasse is further exacerbated by the mandate on American drivers does indeed take effect on the 22nd, OTC drivers nationwide will join their brothers in protest….truckers, like Dems, stick together.
Thin shelves at Publix and Walmart east side of Central Florida. Very patchy, can always find something but thin and expensive in multiple areas. Walmart only had 3 free range whole chickens approx. $ 10 for one. If this is towards the beginning it doesn’t bode well.
Get onto Wildfork and order your meats and veg now!
Hey, thanks for that, had never heard of Wildfork. They have some interesting selections. I’ve been doing mail order meat for years for items & cuts I can’t get from local farmers.
The xiden admin will attempt to issue an EO to force truckers back to work.
That will be interesting !
Oh I know !! I know! Pick me! Pick me! Let’s have the military do it via Berlin airlift scale round the clock every 20 minutes non-stop flights!!
Don’t forget to freeze your eggs. They are great for baking and scrambling. Break them into ice-cube trays and when frozen into a ziploc. Frozen eggs stay good for upto 12 months. Just defrost and use as usual eggs. If you can’t get butter use heavy cream and beat it to death. Freeze the resulting butter and keep the whey for your dogs, or pancakes. Get white distilled vinegar for making own yogurt and soft cheese. Very easy to do and plenty vids on it.
All this pain, suffering and destruction for a fast moving, mild like cold.
Again this is why these people are so very evil.
The vaccines are now totally ineffective, and it is doubtful they ever were, per the data on number of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths in 2021 being higher with the vaccines vs. 2020 without the vaccines. If they were effective, these numbers should have come down, not up. Based on the VAERS data, it now appears that more people are getting killed and permanently maimed by the vaccines than have ever been helped by them.
The fact that the federal government, as well as some state and local governments are pushing vaxxes on 5 – 11 year-olds, who are highly vulnerable to short-term and unknown long-term side effects is criminal.
This all must come to an end now.
I don’t so much blame the politicians, they are what they are and work for their master$$, not us.
I blame the corporatist media.
If we had an honest media, this stuff wouldn’t be happening.
Like all things… large animals are the most dangerous in their death throes… so is the corporatist media.
Exactly. We have no “checks and balances”. We are truly on our own.
Thankfully our VP is probably all over this, otherwise I’d be terribly frightened. {sarcasm off}.😒
I wouldn’t be surprised if the occupants in the White House are caught completely blindsided by the coming storm. After the COVID botch, I think broad swaths of the electorate will be steaming mad when vast shortages and outages hit along with higher prices. If oil similarly spikes later this year as some are predicting albeit for different reasons, I hope Democratic-Socialists are properly rewarded for their “fine work”.
Oh, yes…and they all must certainly get that prized and coveted “Participation Award” because they have all blindly participated in a total Cluster &uck.
“Never let a crises go to waste!”
Translation: Decide what new Public Policy initiative you would like to implement.
CREATE a crises, of just the APPEARANCE of a “Crises”, depend on a compliant media addicted to sensationalism, to DRIVE the narrative.
Use the resulting “public demand for Government action” or again the APPERANCE of same, to justify government policy you originally desired.
Simple and effective. Was used to create the Fed Bureu of Narcotics (!devil weed!) the FBI (!Bonnie/Clyde!) the FDA(!snake oil salesmen!)
even the Govt mismanagement of our Forests was justified by such process.
Its been going on for well over 100 years, and is what has lead to our out of control frankenstien monster of a Federal buerocracy.
And now, sensing it is under real threat from “Trump and his supporters” it is kicking into overdrive.
Has ButtEdge finished lactating yet?
Couldn’t find either end of the supply chain….with both hands. Hungry people cannot identify as full.
Maybe this is why the barricades are going up around the White House!
They intended for this to happen. They may have been hoping we’d continue believing the lies of the media, but there are too many people awake to their “plan” right now.
All part of the plan(demic).
I read numerous sites every single day. The consensus is that the narrative is now shifting to downplay covid, since it is now a huge detriment to the “d” party. They believe that they can manipulate the virus for political gain by suddenly declaring that this hapless administration has finally conquered the problem, and by the way, please vote democrat in the mid-terms. Anyone who has lost a loved one or their livelihood because of policies by this corrupt administration will not be swayed. Red tsunami, and well-deserved.
But the mandates will not go away.
Agreed, making mid-terms extremely important. Even though they are months away, I pray that there will be enough “pivots” before then to offer some type of relief. I am not Pollyana, but hope that everyday Americans can experience a break no matter what has initiated it.
Astute point. They will claim it was BECAUSE of the mandates that Covid went away…
The Al Queda terrorists are laughing their asses off right now. Our own governments are doing far more damage to the Western world than they could have done in 100 years of terrorist attacks.
When I saw the video of truckers blocking roads, and effectively shutting it down, I wept. I actually broke down when I realized that there are patriots willing to fight for what is right. Thank you is not nearly enough but all I can offer.
I did the same thing when I saw what was going on at the Canadian border and when I listened to the YT a video of the song Convoy on that Thread. Genuine pride. (And, my sister drives 18 wheelers and this mandate will affect her come Saturday.)
Saw a headline on today’s Daily Mail.
People who claim to have side effects from the Covid inoculation, or claim vaccine injury is because of the “nocebo” effect…….it’s all in people’s head! SMH ( I think Pfizer is the one claiming this…..can’t remember. )
I have to wonder if all this won’t play into the hands of the autocrats. Food shortages leading to civil unrest will give cause for martial law, something I believe the Dims have been gunning for (no puns intended) all along.
Perfect timing for the 2022 elections.
I have thought for sometime that we are being seriously “provoked”.
Today in Aldi’s the freezer section containing the dairy products was at least 70% empty.
