Yes, I have always understood the Mark of the Beast as a ‘system of governance” under the one with a name. Whatever has been suggested in the past from John’s Revelations 2-3. It dealt with prophecy to the seven churches of Asia Minor, to prepare the saints in Asia for the enormous persecutions they would soon have to face.
In Revelation 13 John introduced us to to the sea beast which was Rome. Rome and her rulers had ordered all citizens to give both political and religious allegiance to Rome and her government. All citizens had to submit to the Roman laws along with the Roman religious laws, this was a demonstration of loyalty to Rome.
As for the Number 666. In Revelation 13:18 ..
‘This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.’
If the number seven represents that which is complete and perfect, the number six falls one short of seven. If seven is perfection, then since six is one less than seven, it represents imperfection.
And look at how it’s multiplied in 666, imperfection, imperfection, imperfection! That’s what John means.
Therein the ‘mark’ 666 that John refers to is about those who would direct worship toward Rome.
Domitian wanted total allegiance given to him and he wanted the very minds of people, the ‘forehead mark’, along with an outward recognition, the ‘hand mark’, that people were allegiant to him.
Was John speaking about a literal mark? Look around at what is happening on a global scale and the number 666 isn’t some literal number on some literal human’s head.
Many believe that the ‘mark’ is a literal, physical mark on the bodies of unbelievers. But when we contrast this ‘mark’ with the ‘seal’ which is on the forehead of believers, we soon discover it isn’t literal.

I’ve never seen a Christian with a literal, physical seal, with the names of Jesus and the Father tattooed on their foreheads.
This is figurative language .. John is describing those who have been born again, those who have been redeemed by Christ’s blood.
In other words, the seal is describing ownership, those who belong to Christ and the Father, those who are faithful to Him.
By way of contrast, the false prophet is trying to get everyone who isn’t a Christian to have the ‘mark of the beast’ written on their forehead.
This simply means that this ‘mark’ was as a sign that they belong to the beast and are loyal to him.
The devil always tried to do what God does and so, this ‘mark’ on their foreheads or on their right hand is simply the devils way of imitating the seal of God on God’s people.
Those who have the names of Jesus and God the Father written on the forehead, it simply means that these belong to to God and are loyal to the Lord God Almighty.
But those who have ‘the mark of the beast’, written on the forehead, it signifies that the deceiver owns them, that they belong to him, that they are loyal to the devil.
Since the seal or name on the believer is obviously invisible, this is symbolizing the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.’ Ephesians 1:13-14

Common sense tells us that the mark of the beast is also a figurative way of describing the loyalty of his followers and his ownership of them. We must always not forget that the Book of Revelation is a highly figurative book. Every day we are increasingly seeing more than just sensing those who are under the power of evil.
But we must always be careful when we’re trying to understand any text of the Bible, especially those texts which are very figurative in nature.
If we’re not careful we can come to all kinds of sad conclusions .. when we remember that the things John wrote about in Revelation were ‘soon to take place’.
We can know for sure that John, when he speaks of this ‘mark’, isn’t speaking about ‘microchip implants, tattoos or bar codes’, then; or something going to happen in the future.
He was writing to Christians about things which were going to happen to them and in their lifetime.
Whatever form we see it takes now and in whatever future form, it simply represents the imperfection and sinfulness of man, and especially those who have been and those who are now enforcing total government control and worship. Whichever has been playing out and will play out; many people are suffering and more will suffer; many terribly – before Jesus comes. Pity mothers and women with young children; especially when tribulation times happen in winter.
While all of Bible’s prophecies have come and gone – sure as God’s Word is true, all that is in the Bible before Jesus returns, will have to happen first. His Return is the only one end times prophecy which is yet to be fulfilled. We look forward to it and pray for it that we would be so blessed as to be still alive to see Jesus come again.

My understanding is there are certain timeframes when the virus doesn’t attack – like in Chicago it stands back and watches for the first 10 minutes. In other places it avoids curfew…usually for the mega stores but it will attack the mom and pops. it also avoids big wig RAT gatherings and probably big wig GOPe as well but less evidence of that. But if you’re a sheeple wanting to go to Christmas dinner you are in TERRIBLE danger – it’s waiting for you at the door.

We got to know many of the neighbors in an (only very partially successful) effort to replace school board members. Met many so-called “wine moms” — largely white, upper-middle class, middle-aged stay-at-home moms with kids in the schools. Right now, there are several of them in personal dramatic fits over family gatherings where unvaccinated family members may attend. (One is very upset that the host of their gathering refuses to un-invite family members who are unvaccinated; another is considering bringing a raft of Covid tests and only letting in those who test negative on the spot).
Over time, we’ve watched these people get angrier and angrier — they thought that their lives would be getting back to normal by now. But instead of getting angry at the actual cause, they’re lashing out in other directions.

From that point on, we were absolutely bombed with constant emails regarding how safe and effective the vax was and where to go to have questions answered – “still have questions”? the emails stated.
Not once, among the many, many emails management sent out, did one email provide pointers and tips for boosting one’s immune system, such as increasing vitamin D levels, eating healthy, and loosing weight. Not one email ever discussed the characteristics of the populations most at risk, not a one.
Every email was solely and singularly focused on, like a broken record, “get the vax”, “get the vax”, “get the vax”. And the more they pushed and pushed, and coerced and coerced, the more any thought of potentially “getting the vax” waned, flickered, and then winked out.
If they’d been smart and said “sure take HCQ and zinc and everything… but take the vax too” they would’ve gotten a lot more people. But they’re too insane to know how to sound reasonable.

Fauci is showing how incredibly thin-skinned he is regarding his reaction to the book. If you’re a confident person, so what if someone writes a critique – and even a scathing one – of you? If you truly believe the things you say and know you’ve done good by the people you’re supposed to help, then you can brush it off and ignore it. The fact that Fauci has to stoop to such lows as smearing RJK Jr’s reputation the way that he has speaks volumes. To my ear, it smacks of insecurity and perhaps some deep seated guilt bubbled up, as well, and expressed itself as defensiveness.
As RFK Jr has pointed out, Fauxi can huff and puff all that he wants, but as of yet, he has not actually addressed (and certainly NOT refuted) a single claim in the incredibly well-sourced book. If the accusations were demonstrably false, then Tony would have had a raft of lawyers filing suit for libel immediately, BUT he hasn’t so that tells me that everything in the book is true and therefore he needs to attack the messenger instead!

To your last point, Trump was not exaggerating when he said they were the enemy of the people. Sometimes when I think of how different things would likely be if the media were honest, I can hardly stand it because I realize (yet again and again and again) how much power they wield. Yep! That’s really what’s happening. I was just infected this month by a triple jabbed loved one. He’s elderly with multiple potential comorbidities. I try to talk him off the jab train but it’s his decision – and he also views mine as unjabbed to be my decision.
