Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe appeared on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd {full video here} to express his frustration that “everything was fine” in Virginia until parents started snooping around, looking into what goes on in public schools.
Despite Chuck Todd trying to support McAuliffe’s collapsing campaign and overall favorability, the Democrat candidate just can’t stop showcasing his totalitarian viewpoint. As noted in the interview, McAuliffe blames the parents for finding out what was happening inside the education system and then complaining about it. It was only after parents started doing research when things started falling apart for the teacher’s unions, school boards and the candidacy of McAuliffe himself.

Beyond the horrible policies he supports, as a general disposition candidate Terry McAuliffe is not a likeable person. He’s a male version of Hillary Clinton with about the same level of blame-casting and desperation. You can tell in the interview that Chuck Todd knows the persona of McAuliffe is part of his problem.
Watch the very beginning as Chuck Todd introduces McAuliffe and notes that an upside down favorability for Joe Biden is likely hurting other Democrats. As a result, the race in Virginia has gone from an easy win to a toss up.
Specifically, look at the face of McAuliffe (00:16 seconds), as the introduction was not what he expected from his friend, his ally and fellow traveler. The flex and squint in the eyes of McAuliffe tells you he was taken aback by the intro. He was personally hurt, stunned and then worried by the introduction. It took McAuliffe almost a full 2 seconds to recompose his brain. It’s interesting….

First and foremost, the claim that Critical Race Theory is not taught in Virginia is a UNIParty word game. Notice he never cakled it CRT because that is the same initials of their alternatively named program Culturally Responsive Teaching.

Towlaine, I was a federal employee for 7 years, then contracted to the federal government (to the same agency, same managers) for an additional 3 years. During that time, it was not called CRT, but it was termed “Diversity training”. All federal employees and contractors are subjected to this BS, and they have entire “teams” in the Labor and Employee Relations sections, as well as in each individual organization who push “the celebration” of other races and genders and they are there to make sure that everyone understands the color of a person’s skin is much more important than their contribution to the organization. The first 4 months of this year was all about “diversity” with no emphasis on performance.
It’s sickening. I won’t be getting the jab, so as of November 30 I will be seeking new opportunities elsewhere, but the waste of money is disgusting.

While most are assuming these agendas and CRT are newly introduced, they aren’t. I have friends in the Chicago school system who have been seeing this for the past 10-15 years. History books began being re-written and chronologically teaching that the Clinton era was where government made the most strides and most if not all significant events beginning with their place in history. In short, history prior to the Clinton’s was no longer being taught. Any and all mention in history of how immigrants were vetted prior to coming through Ellis Island ceased to exist. If you don’t believe me query,.. basically the new information is how no passports, visas, or any kind of paper was needed to enter US.
I feel a tectonic shift, even the younger generation is vibing with, “LGB and FJB”. The left has made a critical error they’ve never done before. Instead of saying one thing and doing another, they say the crazy part aloud. Even the short bus riders understand plain English.

Yep 21 years ago , I was remodeling in a Berkeley primary school 1rst grade classroom & they had several childs books prominently displayed about my mommy’s new wife etc. or some such title . There were several displayed so the little kids would spot them first.

I am looking forward to seeing how his campaign is going to address the election fraud. They have to have a plan because they are not stupid . It has been reported that the VA Project has set up a hotline for voters to report any oddities. Youngkin is supposed to have lawyers everywhere, especially NOVA. Youngkin’s personal wealth is $400 million, in comparison barry has a net worth of $70 million, at least that we know of. No telling where a former president can hide his laundered funds.

Anyone who has children in the State Schools should think long and hard about keeping their children in those schools.
Homeschooling is an option for those that cannot afford private school. There are various options for homeschooling.
A Catholic school is also an option that costs almost $9K per student where I live. I suspect this is for grades K-8.
Private schools are an option. Where I live they average about $8.3K per student.
It’s a huge decision for parents to choose homeschooling. The cost involves the time it takes parents to do the teaching themselves or monitor some curriculum they pay for. That is the choice we made for our youngest child who was really struggling in public schools.
We did this over 30 years ago and the child went on to get a college degree and now has a good job. He was failing in public schools and they were unable to help him. If he had tested lower they would have helped. There was a cut-off point and his scores were a bit higher than the cut-off…so no extra help was offered. Before we left the meeting we met privately with the Principal and I asked him directly what we could expect if the child were to stay in public school. He shrugged and said he would probably fall farther and farther behind. I responded by saying so you know he needs help, you know he’s going to get a diploma, and it won’t be worth a thing. He just shrugged. That’s how it went down for us.

I drove through 3 counties today and saw nothing but Youngkin signs, a few McAwful but nothing compared to Youngkin. I went up in the hills and even in the middle of nowhere there were Youngkin signs. agreed. There are MANY ways to explain the full history of slavery. I do not object to even obscene and grotesque facts, because they are important. What I object to is presenting this kind of adult material to non adults and expecting that to be a normal way to guide young minds. gang rape, extreme violent perverted sexual content, graphic leaving nothing to the imagination is not acceptable for young children.
There IS a reason why responsible adults DO NOT allow young children to see or read or listen to this kind of material OUTSIDE OF THE HOME. There is a path, a progression that needs to happen first. And that has to be at a time and a pace and in the proper context and controlled environment that can only be handled directly by PARENTS who have their children’s best interests at all times.
Emotional and intellectual security is not measured by age. There is no such thing as one size fits all. A parent KNOWS this. Understands there must be certain principles learned and anchored securely before informing a child of these kinds of themes.

It’s these “experts” deciding curriculum and books that have insured that US kids are a miserable bunch of undereducated future leaches. It was a daily affair for my wife and I to query what was told to our boys and us having to teach them the correct way to do math. We read to them every night. We were always there to teach respect for us and the elderly, their Mom being an excellent example of accepting everyone regardless of their skin color. She, being Filipino, rejected the hive mentality of her brother and his filipino friends, having friends of all sorts.
