**BUMPED x2**
As the impacts of the various vaccination mandates take shape, it is worth a review of the current status as it impacts you and your family on a local basis.
As noted by a reader in Washington state, the cleaving of society on vaccinated status is having an unusual impact on many regions even within individual states.
As one anecdotal report is told, the eastern side of Washington state is essentially functioning as before the vaccination mandate; while the western side is seeing a substantial breakdown in local civic society.
Mandates by local officials are creating issues for local services. Local police, fire and first responders are leaving their jobs, creating issues for those in the leftist side of Washington state. Meanwhile the eastern, or more conservative side of the state, is relatively not impacted.
In another cleaving anecdote one business owner in southern California has told a rebel alliance member to discontinue the use of services from a vendor who does not share the leftist political perspectives of the owner; while other right-minded business owners (in the same industry) are looking specifically to gain advantage by seeking out vendors who are skilled, stable and independent.
As would be expected, the vaccination cleaving is creating two unique classes of workers and owners/operators. Those with the best expertise, skillset and work ethic all fall into the group who are more independently minded and not prone to the inherent peer pressure created by the vaccine mandate.
While the data is all still raw in this new cleaved socioeconomic environment, it does appear -in the aggregate- the unvaxxed are better workers, better problem solvers and carry a stronger work ethic. The vaxxed workforce, owners and operators appear less than.
This brings up an interesting dynamic that is still unfolding amid various regions. So the questions posed are these:
What do you see in your town, hamlet, city, neighborhood and/or region?
How are the various vaccine mandates impacting your area?
Additionally, what opportunities or challenges do you see currently? Do you see any benefits to the cleaving as it appears to be underway? Do you have any advice for readers who might be stuck behind enemy lines?
I’m a govt contractor to NASA in Houston area. I don’t venture into Houston much, so I can only speak to the small towns around Johnson Space Center.
Other than federal employment mandate issues, my experience is we have moved on past COVID panic back to normal life. Friday night lights, Saturday college football, Sunday church, all back to normal except for seniors at risk. No mandates anywhere. Lots of signs on businesses encouraging masks, but 5% or maybe less wearing them. It is interesting to note my perception what groups of what groups of people are still wearing them, but I’ll not discuss that.
My contractor employer passed the NASA mandate through. They had a very large group of people requesting religious exemption. The few I know about were all approved for accommodation review.
The request form was the exact 7 question one circulating from a federal agency. I got zero requests for additional information. Approval was done by a specially formed corporate team responsible for and dedicated to all company request decisions.
As of COB Friday, 8 days after basic approval, we still await corporate guidance on the accommodations allowable and the process to approve or deny and/or appeal.
My sense is my particular HUGE contractor with only a tiny NASA business segment sees this as a federal overreach they cannot escape. As such, I will be surprised if the accommodation evaluation is biased to deny many or all.
I have worked from home the entire duration of the plandemic. I’ve gone on site to JSC one time to replace a failed laptop. I got my best employee evaluation in two decades, plus a promotion (first since ’99) during this event. If they do not approve very reasonable accommodations for me, I’ll make them fire me and go to court. Might file to stop being fired, but I don’t expect the denial.
As a background data point, I manage a team of engineers that works with NASA international partners. I replaced myself on a team scheduled to travel to Japan before the Olympics because I refused to allow plandemic testing. I was really looking forward to the trip, but principles are not free or cheap.
FYI I’m still working at a contractor with so few promotions now because I care full time for my mother with dementia. In truth, this would have forced me to skip the trip, but it started after I already replaced myself. The remote work is the only solution for that and income, and I have mastered my work. Best solution for an imperfect situation at this time.
I have retired friends that are relatively wealthy. They are mostly vaccinated, but I am not. None have had problems. None have stopped traveling for fun. One couple just returned from Hawaii.
Red State Life seems reasonable but annoying at the moment.
Keep your chin up. We can win this!
The Governor and Anthony Sabatini are trying to ban vaccine mandates in Florida but the rino’s are fighting them. If you live in Florida, please call every legislator.
The CVS I was in recently advises masks whether vaccinated or not. Most were unmasked, except for employees . If you call CVS for a prescription refill, you have to listen to clot shot pushing over and over. I had to wear a mask at the eye doctor and the surgery center where I had cataract surgery. I see people everywhere wearing a mask outside, walking biking, waiting for a bus, driving alone. I thought people were smarter than this. I was wrong. And being injected with a bioweapon then blaming others for not trusting the fraud. No kill shots for me, I refuse to comply. Compliance implies consent! This plandemic is the Globalist New World Order genocide.
Why are those big animals involved in an obviously human issue? Rino’s?
RINO=Republicans In Name Only=RINO. Sorry, I can’t help myself when I see someone make that error. I’ll forget all about this, imagine if I was a leftist?
I live in Maine.
Day to day getting things done seems quasi normal in that some are masked, most are not and Ive not witnessed any confrontations.
I work for state govt and thus far, no mandate for state employees.
As you know, SCOTUS just chose not to take up healthcare worker mandate and I am watching previously staunch anti vaxxers cave in and walk at about 50/50. Even my staunchly anti vax son in law is taking the jab to keep his job.
I do not see the cleaving as good. It seems to be right on track with the plan to follow through with continued efforts to achieve street fighting and all out civil unrest. Ive never felt wore like a puppet.
Shelves and supplies are about as avail as they were 8 months ago, some items are scarce others are abundant. Its all so strange and I hate that we have entered this phase where they do as they please without attempts to hide the agenda, say “what are you gonna do about it?” and in the end, they get away with it all.
They behave as people no longer worried about election outcomes.
NE Texas, pretty relaxed regards mask wearing, a large majority don’t, usual suspects do, i.e., people driving with out-of-state plates, getting lots of those; big-box stores don’t enforce the mask, but the healthcare facilities want the mask in place, but don’t enforce it 100%, some healthcare staff don’t wear it at all times in violation of posted notices within employer facilities.
NW Texas pretty mask free except for the terrified sheep (maybe 10%-15%). Medical facilities require masks. Other than that, restaurants are open, business’ seem to be doing well, children are not masked at school, playgrounds are full of red rover red rover let Brandon come over. Our southern border jumpers are spending money like crazy on their new Visa cards. They don’t know how to use them, however, clerks are very helpful at instructing and walking them through the transaction at the local farm store where they purchase clothing and miscellaneous, jmo. ( Wondering just how much those cards have been loaded with? jmo) Some private business are still trying to require vax mandates even though Abbott signed an executive order prohibiting it. BTW Ken Paxton is a rock star! As for the Normal people, we’re just trying to keep on keepin’ normal.
Agree re Paxton, just look at who’s been trying to take him out for years now for the measure of the man. Abbott, OTOH, is less than ideal, but 1000% better than a commiecrat.
Agree.
McAllen school system required masks after the Govenors EO…….Paxton sued them…..they were served and the next day all the signs were gone in the school.
Same down here in the Rio Grande Valley. One Dollar General store had a sign on their door requiring anyone who wasn’t vax’ed to wear a mask. Went in anyway maskless, no one asked any questions, not that I’d give any answer. My medical history is my business….edited…..saw a couple and a lone fellow walking on the beach wearing masks……must have been tourists from up north.
East Texas here and rural.
You wouldn’t know there is anything going on unless you walk into a Brookshires or Walmart and say the employees masked.
Fortunately I retired early from the .gov, but I sit in apprehension that they try to make my pension mandatory for the shot.
That won’t end well for any of us, but it’s the damned hill I’m willing to die on.
Son is USMC and now vaxed under duress for being allowed to take leave to get away from the daily BS at base.
Gas at 3.14 and most stocked shelves with an 18oz porterhouse costing 22.95.
Rifle season starts next Saturday and I will have two bucks hanging, so we got that going for us.
Down here in Florida it’s really easy to tell the Democrats from the Republicans by who’s still wearing masks.
Literally everyone I know that got a third booster shot got sick from it for days.
Hi Don,
Out here in Washington State, my main concern is the MANDATES for the vaccine (I think Florida doesn’t have that worry) that come down from Governor Inslee’s mandate for shots.
Loved ones of mine are facing being fired; friends have been FIRED already as a result of Governor Inslee’s mandate for the vaccine.
I’m less and less able to identify a “D” from an “R” as a result of mask wearing but I get your well-made point.
When I wear my N95 in EVERY STORE I go into TODAY, I am “attempting to protect” myself from catching a flu or covid virus in order that I also not transmit it to seriously immunologically compromised loved ones–including my wife. Of course, I fear it is a matter of time before I catch Covid.
I realize mask mandates do not need to exist, but when I wear mine my MASK, I ALWAYS wear my “Do Not Tread on Me” or my TRUMP hat.
And with me bundled up in my MASK, so many store owners, customers and employees-cashiers too- have cornered me to say they really appreciated my TRUMP hat.
I feel for you and them, but if all the people who had caved and got the shot told their companies to go pound sand, the company would have been left with the option of firing 50% of their workforce with no one to replace them. This is what living in debt does. It makes you a slave with no options. I do feel for you all though. I hope these vaxx don’t kill y’all down the road.
In Illinois we are still under mask mandates. However, 35 miles Northwest of the city of Chicago where we live most small businesses are maskless and people are pretty casual in the neighborhood about no masks. However big corporate box stores are enforcing mandates. Even there however many people do come and go without masks and no comment or confrontation.
The Mask is the uniform of Globalism, worldwide. It’s a simple as that.
Of course, parents bear some responsibility, but pushing back the tide of the cultural cesspool we face in is a herculean effort
Southeast Texas…any further east we would be in Louisiana and south the Gulf of Mexico…masks relatively rare with wally world and some retails requiring masks on employees…many of them chin strap it. My employer is following the obiden dictate on test or divulge lab rat status…test kit has “EO” for ethylene oxide carcinogen which I swab and blow out with water during the 15 minute development timer. Percentages of vaxxed\unvaxxed at work could’be up to 40% unvaxxed but that is emperical evidence based on sign in sheet count…testing weekly, unvaxxed only, mask requirement ignored by 98.9%…a few have tested positive, mostly contractors for some reason, no one has died and most “never felt a thing”… just enjoyed the paid time off…(oil refinery).
In Palm Springs… visiting from Nashville. Left California 4 years ago. I was ok with the mask requirement to a point. But then I wanted to eat at a Resturant and was asked for proof of vaccination. I am not and will not allow that poison to enter my body. When I said I did not have it I was refused service. Funny thing is the ignorant person checking asked if I had a picture of it. I don’t have one so I said no, but when I observed her checking the people she never asked for ID. So how would they know? I have several friends and employees with fake cards that look real. So we have options.
The sad thing is that this is Fascism, when government and business collude. The people here have fallen for it and are implementing their own demise.
Let’s go Brandon!!
Palm Springs city is super left wing. The rest of Riverside County is mostly conservative.
Hubby and I live in Florida, but we are in Louisiana for a multiple day event in New Orleans.
Louisiana in general has no issues; we went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant last night in Allen and the servers were mostly maskless along with the customers. Nobody cared if you wore one or not.
New Orleans, on the other hand, has gone Full Covid Restriction- must have either a vax card or a neg pcr test within 72 hours to enter a restaurant or business within city limits and wear a mask, but there is no mention of testing for antibodies for natural immunity. We have some activities planned in the city outskirts; these businesses don’t give a rip about it, but it seems the businesses in town are terrified of the consequences if they don’t follow the Covid-19 Crackdown.
Hubby and I had COVID in August, so I tried calling New Orleans and Company, which is the tourist arm of the city, to see if a positive antibody test would suffice. The manager I talked to said that the guidelines come from the City Mayor and that is the final say, unfortunately. She agreed with my point that a vax does not guarantee immunity, as an antibody test is better proof if you are Actually concerned about people spreading the ‘Rona.
Believe me, I wouldn’t even be here except it is my job. Thank God my husband and I are both extremely strong willed and in agreement we will not be persuaded, nagged, coerced, bribed or threatened into getting onto the COVID19 Carousel.
Good for you!
It is crystal clear that all these businesses/churches/synagogues requiring proof of vaccination are getting $$$ from the PTB because they don’t care about customers or a customer base anymore at all. Just about compliance.
The power- crazed mayor of New Orleans has decreed that certain businesses …restaurants, bars, gyms, and casinos….within the city must check customers to be sure they are vaxed or show a negative civic test. She recently had to back off the mask mandate due to losing the governor’s support of the face gags.
The private business owners are cowed by her threats. Cantrell couldn’t possibly do a better job of destroying the city.
The infuriating thing is that she is up for re-election in a couple of weeks and will doubtless be elected again.
Howdy all..
I’m in a rural region of NY (Fingerlakes)
Local grocery stores seem to be well stocked, I see prices jumping though and Husband noted that he has not been able to find ctore brand items and other items like bleach. Wegmans is still stocked well.
I have not personally seen cleaving in the circle of people I am around. Most though, friends and customers tend towards being hardy independent men and women that are accustomed to solving problems and a full days work. Recently, one customer who’s a Sheriff mentioned that they are having a hard time getting new people to fill vacancies. I asked if it was due to mandates. He said no..They were not (for now) having to make those decisions. His comment then was that there just isn’t enough elligable applicants that want to work.
House Bill 9009, from Rep. Clay Doggett, R-Pulaski, prevents any state funds from being “appropriated or dispersed” to a public or private entity that has a COVID-19 vaccination or mask-wearing requirement for entry. It also allows the Tennessee Department of Finance & Administration to recoup state funds previously sent to an entity that begins a vaccine or mask requirement.
House Bill 9010, also from Doggett, prevents a K-12 school that receives state funds from having a COVID-19 vaccine requirement or from separating students based on vaccination status.
House Bill 9011, from Rep. Brandon Ogles, R-Franklin, creates a human rights private cause of action for anyone who suffers an adverse action by another because of a religious objection to the COVID-19 vaccine.
House Bill 9012, also from Ogles, requires any entity that requires a COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a vaccination to allow for a religious exemption for those whose religion or sect is conscientiously opposed to the COVID-19 vaccine.
House Bill 9013, sponsored by Ogles, prevents a health care provider from giving a minor the COVID-19 vaccine without parental consent.
House Bill 9015, from Rep. London Lamar, D-Memphis, establishes uniform mask requirements for local school districts that implement mask-wearing rules. FAILED
House Bill 9016, also from Lamar, allows private employers to adopt a dress code that requires a mask for anyone on the business premises and provides immunity to those employers. FAILED
House Bill 9017, from Rep. Tim Rudd, R-Murfreesboro, prevents the state from entering into a state contract or providing incentives to an employer that requires the COVID-19 vaccine.
House Bill 9018, from Rudd, allows for a replacement for a district attorney will be appointed in cases where a sitting district attorney says he or she will not prosecute a certain offense.
Rep. Chris Todd, R-Madison County, filed four bills Tuesday. House Bill 9019 enacts the “Tennessee Religious Objection to COVID-19 Treatment Act,” and House Bill 9020 enacts the “Tennessee COVID-19 Treatment Freedom Act,” which prevents the board of medical examiners and board of osteopathic examination from disciplining a licensed physician related to the physician’s prescription, recommendation, use or opinion relative to COVID-19 treatment.
House Bill 9021 prevents discrimination based upon COVID-19 vaccination status.
House Bill 9022 allows those who leave a job to avoid a COVID-19 vaccination mandate or are put on unpaid leave based on refusing to get a COVID-19 vaccination to be eligible for unemployment payments
Let’s hope these bills become law in your state.
State of Washington has majority Dems in both Houses; Gov is DEM.
Many State Employees being FIRED for refusing the mandate to get vaccinated. Loved ones are facing being fired soon.
A very immunologically compromised young loved one HAS TAKEN THE VACCINE UNDER DURESS–after the State of Washington denied him all the honest exemptions he requested.
Senate Bill 9001, sponsored by Sen. Frank Niceley, R-Strawberry Plains, is a companion bill to House Bill 1643. It bill prevents private employers from requiring a COVID-19 vaccination for an individual who already has had COVID-19, and it makes the private employer liable for damages if the vaccination causes the employee injury.
Senate Bill 9002, also sponsored by Niceley, is a companion to House Bill 9003, which prohibits public employers from requiring a COVID-19 vaccine and puts liability on private employers who require a vaccine if health issues arise.
Senate Bill 9003, sponsored by Sen. Joey Hensley, R-Hohenwald, is a companion of House Bill 9002, which allows local school board elections to be partisan.
Senate Bill 9004, sponsored by Hensley as a companion to House Bill 9001, places liability on an employer or private institution of higher learning for side effects from a COVID-19 vaccine if the vaccine is required.
Senate Bill 9005, sponsored by Hensley, prevents school districts, public higher education and public charter schools from having COVID-19 contact tracing procedures while allowing those procedures to be created for other communicable diseases.
Senate Bill 9006, sponsored by Sen. Paul Rose, R-Tipton, puts a county mayor or top city official in charge of establishing and implementing health policies that affect an area during a health emergency. The county health director, health officer and board of health then would be charged with advising the mayor or highest-ranking city official. House Bill 9014 from Rep. Tom Leatherwood, R-Arlington, is the companion bill.
Here in TN our Legislature and Governor continue to uphold and preserve Constitutional rights of our citizens. From biden’s inauguration and the onslaught of Dimwit policies and mandates, our State leaders have stood firm memorializing into law rejection of transexuals prohibiting their use in public restrooms and restricting sports participation in the state to birth gender. When our Dimwit planted State health Dtr developed and rollout her clandestine program encouraging students to take the vax suggesting parental permission is not required.
Our Governor/Legislature held a no confidence vote and fired her. The local MSM then promoted a sympathetic campaign to restore this Marxist monster with lies, even in light of compelling evidence supporting her termination including her own “Jesse Smolet” deception of sending herself a dog muzzle claiming conservatives sent it to her. Didn’t work – we won’t be seeing her anytime soon.
This week our Legislature has completed the third extra session taking up controversial issues of vax mandates, mask mandates and addressing corporate and business liablities of employee mandates.
Inspite of local MSM broadcasting lies and propaganda trying to derail these efforts these bills were passed (SEE POSTS BELOW):
All those posts about your bills are incredible. Thank you for the info Tulip.
I’m in Idaho in the Treasure Valley. Even Boise is relatively unmasked.
There are no mandates. Few attempts fail. The virtue-signalling ultra left wear them without being asked. Boise city buildings and the schools in that county are masked, healthcare… not much else. Gatherings are normal. Large events normal. We are a largely unvaxxed state. More are becoming aware that their RINO gov’t has betrayed them. They are becoming less complacent. I see a fight.
I live in McKinney, Texas in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. We live free of any mandates. Life is normal. Biden induced inflation is driving prices up. Can still get gas for $2.89 a gallon but going up weekly. Some corporations mouth mask mandates but enforce none except hospitals. If there are any Covid issues it is from woke corporations, like airlines, but most are tucking tail and backing off as their businesses are damaged. Woke people have no staying power. Vaccine ID cards here are a waste of paper. My greatest concern is the potential contamination of our way of life from blue state immigration. Leave your politics behind!!
In Oklahoma City, only about 10 % wear a mask while shopping at Costco or other large places. No one wears one in the restaurants. Employees might wear one, but most do not.
At my kid’s private school, the kids only mask while they are in the hallways. In the classroom, the mask is not required. The whole thing is pretty weird at their school. The kids have to have their masks on when we drop them off in the entry-drive, but they take them off when they are sitting in class. I guess the administration is trying to please everyone.
Store shelves are empty on the paper aisle, except for the higher-priced, non-store-branded paper products. Guess Charmin has a better supply chain than, “Members Mark”.
All store employees need to wear masks but customers not fully vaccinated are only “encouraged” to do so. MANY customers do. I have not heard of any store requiring proof here in Delaware.
My 3 Part Time Jobs require vaccines and masks; I need to make money so I reluctantly got the J and J jab. I sabotaged the vaccine as best I could by taking certain medications which negatively affect the vaccine’s efficiency weeks before I received the shot.
Universities in Delaware require even fully online employees to get the vaccine. The last day to keep your job is supposed to be Dec. 8th, but many online employees have already been terminated.
Reading TGP “Headlines, “Iowa Governor signs bill allowing religious exemption for Covid vax” “Illionois legislarure writing bill to PROHIBIT religious exemptions for COVID vaccine.”
HOW will SCOTUS dodge THIS one, seems clear “equal protection” as WELL as Religious freedom are at issue.
HOW can citisens in ONE state, be granted religious exemption from an inherently un-Constitutional mandate, while those in another, are not?
Speaking of CITISENS, how can non-citisens who enter illegally be exempt, but visitors who come in with VISAS, are not?
How is Congress and staff, USPS and certain others, exempt while others are not?
How is it ONLY employers with over 100 employees, or Federal contractors are mandated, others are not?
WHAT a tangled mess they have created, mirroring Dr. Fauci, the “Simon says” of Public health.
At least the Aussies SEEM to be a little bit consistent, in their heavy handed dictates, whereas U.S. seems “all over the map”, as comments on this post show.
“How is mask and vax mandates going?” ,..
“It depends on WHERE you LIVE, and the extremes, not only between States, but within States are striking.
SCOTUS, traditionally would be “weighing in”, but I have no illusions on that score, now. With Mitch (or his replacement, Thune in charge of Decepticons, we will NEVER get a decent SCOTUS, again.
Updated report as promised.
Traveled to the next county (about 10 miles from home); everyone behaves normally. The checkout lady at the Family Dollar had a mask; but it was under her chin and wasn’t anywhere close to nose or mouth. Very friendly and chatty; happy day. Shelves here were not fully stocked; water, cola sections had the least amount on the shelves, however at the end of the aisles and all over the store were carts filled with boxes to be opened and shelved. I overheard her telling a customer that she has been receiving more stock than she needs, although some items are difficult to come by. Detergents, bleach, personal care products, frozen foods – plenty of everything.
Stopped for fuel a couple of miles from that store and no one was wearing a mask; plenty of everything and my grade of gasoline had dropped from $3.659 to $3.459! Good news for me today. That stop is just off I-35, and I observed several young males who appeared (to my untrained eye) to be of middle eastern origin. They had a small child with them – no women, new truck with a cargo trailer in tow.
About a half dozen other pickup trucks with young men of dark skin in them. They appeared to be in pairs; and they may have been suspicious, or it could be that I was trying to be extra observant and might have been reading more into it than I should. A lot of traffic on the road; both north and south bound.
Back in the area I normally inhabit, a lot of people out and about, no masks and no apparent shortages.
An interesting contrast compared to other reports that I am seeing. Patriot Nurse did a video of being in a Dollar Tree in Texas, I think, and the shelves there were virtually empty. I did not experience that today.
Forgot to mention that I am about halfway between Dallas and OKC just off I-35.
Even Mexican descent working the border get confused sometimes. We are all so mixed up that it can be difficult to tell.
In NC foothills of mtns region – small town rural. No mask mandate that I know of because I really do not keep up with it or care. Have not worn a mask unless forced to since the beginning.
People here are mostly hardworking law abiding who still get their news from the main stream liars or Facebook. So mask wearing is a mixed bag and lots of people are getting the toxic jab out of fear and thinking they are doing the right thing. I personally have not been able to convince anybody otherwise who has bought into it. Of my 3 adult children the one in Seattle area is vaxxed and the other two here are not and are not going to.
When FJBiden announced the 100 employee mandate I picked up the phone and asked the co pres how many employees we have. He said we have 88 right now but we need more than 100 (can’t get people to work). I told him to let me know when we get to 100 because I am not getting jabbed.
I became sick on 9th of Oct with what I thought may be flu but my dr said COVID. I had all the classic COVID symptoms. I had gotten some ivermectin paste while the online vet suppliers would still let you buy it and I started using it before I went to doctor.
My doc is a solo practice Osteopathic doctor (more holistic) a Christian and does not seem to be completely materialistic and greedy like most. He asked me what treatments I would like and I told him Ivermectin but I guess I would not be able to get. He said he would rx ivermectin and hydroxychloraquine. I had to go to an small town independent pharmacy to get it filled. He also prescribed low dose aspirin, emergenceC, albuterol, a nebulizer ($200 did not get) did get pulse ox to check oxygen level. He asked me to take walks every day. I am 67 yrs old and a little overweight. I felt like crap but I did fine and give credit to the ivermectin and hydroxy. I went back to work the first day he said I could go back. I am glad I got it before cold weather and that now I have natural immunity.
I am a caretaker for my aunt who is 92 and very frail. We had breakfast together and went to grocery store the morning of the day when I started feeling bad that evening. She did not get the virus and she is Not vaxxed. I have no idea how I got it unless it was someone who was standing right beside me 2 days before I got sick and wanted me to see and hold their vaccine Cade where they had just gotten the third! Jab. He was so proud of himself. A really great guy, what could I say?
My son got it. His whole crew got it and the owner tested them all for proof (probably to keep contracts. ) wierd (but not complaining) none of us got it, not even his girlfriend who sleeps with him every night!
I was told 10,000 GE employees lost their jobs recently over vax mandates by a “woke” corporation, but that wasn’t all of it. I learned that fake vax id cards are becoming a big business since some folks who refuse the vax just can’t seem to pass up a good paying job just sitting there for the taking. Not sure how I feel about that. The thought just hit me that maybe when they go to electronic verification because of this, hopefully there will be those who can hack into these systems or fool them somehow. Another pregnant thought: why can’t hacker Robin Hoods start draining the secret accounts of corrupt officials from O’biden on down and pass out the proceeds to the poor? Enough of the daydreams and to the reality check. As a very small business owner and employee of a larger business run by anti-vaxers, I am increasingly frustrated by the slow down and stoppage of needed parts and goods that keep our economy going. The powers that be are killing the goose that lays our golden eggs. The Western Democracies have become just as corrupt as the Communist Dictatorships and too many love it so. I am tired of goods sitting on ships with the freight going up 4-5 times and seeing the big increase when a few items do arrive and I really can’t afford the price increase. And on and on and on. Like a friend who works at Lockheed Martin recently told me: “covid mandates are not about our health, they are all about control”. Like a minister of the Gospel said recently: “The spirit of antichrist tries to control, but the Spirit of Christ seeks to lead.” I choose to follow where Christ leads, not where the government is trying to drive us.
I am losing a 6 figure job and it has occurred to me to find a medical professional who will squirt it down the drain instead of infecting me. I’m undecided if I will go that route.
I live in Wisconsin, but work for a company based in Komifornia. I was given notice this last Tuesday to get injected with a shot I do not want to take or lose my job 2 weeks before Christmas.
Our healthcare system is about to experience a tsunami! Potential side effects of jabs include chronic inflammation, because the vaccine continuously stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies. Other concerns include the possible integration of plasmid DNA into the body’s host genome, resulting in mutations, problems with DNA replication, triggering of autoimmune responses, and activation of cancer-causing genes. Alternative COVID cures exist. Ivermectin is one of them. While Ivermectin is very effective curing COVID symptoms, it has also been shown to eliminate certain cancers. Do not get the poison jab. Get your Ivermectin today while you still can! https://health.p0l.org

Its happening.
I’m a federal employee (DOJ)
My unvaxxed coworker who had covid just got coerced into getting her shot to comply w Nov 22 deadline.
She was sick for 3 days
I was hoping this thread would get bumped again.
In the suburb most south of Portland, people have gone from almost 100% masked to about 25% unmasked at Costco. I’m not sure what the heck changed but significant and obvious number of unmasked.
Brandon is working.
Let’s go!
Was at the REI in Columbia, SC today. Mask not required but requested. Saw one other person not wearing a mask.
Signs everywhere asking people to be patient because they are under staffed. Inventory depleted.
Rural SC, most people not wearing masks. Usually just the elderly.
I was shopping in Cola last weekend since I’m from midlands SC as well. Even though there were several signs up stating they require masks, only about 1/4 shoppers were wearing them. My rule is to act like I don’t see the sign until they point it out then I can choose either to put it on or walk out. Restaurants did not require masks either. In my town, just east of Cola, we all pretty much walk around as if Covid never happened. Only real exception is doctors offices/hospital where masks are still required. Husband works for state and has yet to be forced to get the injection. I’m self-employed and I refuse to make my employees get injected. Schools here, even private, have to mask up but injections not required.
Grocery stores pretty well stocked except for some goods like potato chips and Corona beer – been out for weeks!! We have a large deep freezer and a Seal It system so we stocked up heavily on canned goods, meats, bacon, baking goods, paper goods, some time ago – I practically have a warehouse! I look at stocking up as…if I need it, I have it. If I don’t, I can donate before the food expires. I can also spread it out among my family.
Keeping fingers crossed that SC stays farely “free”!!
In the restaurant we went to before leaving town, maybe 25% of the people were masked. Most of them were employees, I think. Employees were wearing their street clothes.
We just got a freezer. We’ll be stocking up.
It never ceases to amaze me. The mask was supposed to protect others by not allowing spray, but I always believed that people thought it protected themselves. I need to start going up to people if they have them and asking them if they are sick. Ugh.
Alaska – governor just signed onto the multiple state lawsuit over the federal vaccine mandates. Even with that, many companies already put the plan in place. My husband is in danger of losing his job over it (oil field worker). An official mandate hasn’t come out for his company yet, but we’re told it’s expected.
Local businesses don’t care, nobody in my area cares. Only national chain restaurants and big box stores have masked employees. Customers don’t bother. Its easy to spot the liberals by who is masked.
Big city, Anchorage, has a MAGA mayor fighting against a woke assembly. Assembly passed a mask mandate after days of public protest against it. Mayor says he won’t enforce it. So there’s a mask mandate without anyone to enforce it. The assembly added a section to the municipal website for people to report violations to the mask mandate. Even if they report violations, the mayor still oversees the police and isn’t enforcing it. It’s just ridiculous politics.
As for my area, we have the lowest vaccine rate in the state. It’s around 38%. We’re proud of it. Lots of people holding the line around here!
I will be moving out of Los Angeles (Brentwood) in about 90 days and am looking at different areas to move to. As I mentioned earlier, Danaher Corp. is forcing me to “resign” because I will not take the mRNA injections due to a congenital heart issue. My choice to move to are: Nashville, Florida or Idaho or Wyoming. I will miss LA, especially the beaches, but this state is over and done with. Its fallen to the Communists and the Left wing government is now in full control. This debacle at the Long Beach ports is due in a large part to CA AB 5 which has nearly eliminated independent trucking in CA. The Loonies are running the asylum here. Time to get out. I am leaning towards Nashville, as I lived there in the 90s while going to MTSU and had a blast. Also I am a guitarist and produce music, and Nashville is a welcoming community to musicians.
I believe Nashville is extremely Liberal, so you may be jumping from the fire into a hot pan if you decide to move there — musician or not.
Right now, Florida is the shining star.
Tennessee just voted to ban vaccine mandates. Florida to date has not. So, to that regard, Tenn is more Red than Florida, despite Ron DeSantis’ best efforts. I know about Nashville being a blue city, but I also know that the state is filled with Red Patriots with Guns to balance the liberals out. I also enjoyed Nashville when I lived there years ago. There are not a lot of options with good weather to LA frankly that are not Blue wastelands.
I bet their endowment is over a billion dollars. Money that just sits there collecting interest and investment earnings. Meanwhile lazy, entitled OU professors make easy six figures while struggling kids go far in to debt to pay for the “education”.
Had to take supplies to my brother in the assisted living. the majority of the residents and staff are vaccinated including my brother. I let them know when boosters were first mentioned that he was Not to receive a booster. When I arrived today there was a notice on the door changing visitation rules. I am jumping to a conclusion and guessing that they have had an outbreak of breakthrough covid-19 cases. They prefer you visit outside on the porch, masked and socially distanced. Only 1 visitor per resident inside with the same requirements.
I am in LA( lower Alabama). The Governor has signed an Executive Order saying no mandates for government employees and contract workers, which didn’t go far enough. There are approximately 200 unvaccinated workers at Austal that will be put on unpaid leave until they get vaccinated. She has not added any mandate discussion to the special session coming up. The AG is in the process of filing a lawsuit against the vaccine mandates. Grocery shelves are staying pretty normal for now. I remain part of the control group(Pure Blooded).
I live just outside Winchester, VA (NW VA about 65 miles west of DC).
Life is pretty normal around here. Some wear masks, most don’t. The businesses that make their employees wear masks (Walmart, Starbucks, Lowe’s, CVS, etc) just irritate me. It’s pointless. Anyway, my wife and I just returned from Florida. We drove so we’ve seen rural / semi-rural life in VA, NC, SC, GA and FL over the last week. It was all pretty similar. I only wore a mask at Disney World (required indoors on their property). It’s stupid and only compliance theater. I slammed them about it on our post visit survey. I don’t like compliance theater and I don’t like Disney cast members thinking that they’re somehow improving my health or making me safe. They’re not. We stayed overnight in Savannah, GA on our way to FL and only one shop on River St. required masks. My wife and I walked in the shop. There were three employees and no other customers. The young pink haired and pierced employee asked if we had masks. We said no. She said “Oh, I’ll get you some.” I said “I DON’T WANT ONE.” She said they were required in the store. My wife and I said “SEE YA.” and walked out.
I haven’t changed my lifestyle during the whole pandemic (I guess I was quarantining before it was cool) and the only places that I had to wear a mask in the Winchester area in order to shop was the Virginia ABC store and Costco. I haven’t been to the ABC store in a long time so I don’t know if they still require it. I suspect not, but won’t know until I go back. Last time I went to Costco, masks were NOT required for patrons. Not sure what the kids in school situation is (mine are grown), but I still see kids in masks on the school busses. Aarghh! But, my impression after a night of neighborhood trick or treaters is that the pandemic is over. We had tons of kids and parents and not a face mask in sight (even only a few kids wearing costume masks- I think they’re happy not to wear masks of any kind after the last 18 months).
My oldest son’s fiance’ recently quit the big healthcare facility around here when they established the vaccine mandate. She got another nursing job that doesn’t require the vaccine. She got covid from her new job, was out for about 10 days, and they didn’t even require her to have a negative test before returning to work- “Just come on back.”
I’m a merchant mariner but my company (based in Louisiana) has not said anything about a mandate. They’ve been somewhat short handed some mariner positions in the past and a mandate would not be beneficial at all for them. I’m technically a government contractor but I don’t have to have a PCR test before returning to work next week which has been a requirement in the past, so I don’t know what’s going on, but quite happy not to get tested this time. Things that make you go hmm.
I have not noticed any real shortages at any of the stores.
Johnson County, KS: Stores have signs indicating masks are “encouraged.” Many people wear masks and still fear covid even though they have had three jabs. Some county leaders seem to want to perpetuate the fear indefinitely. A majority of the Bd of County Commissioners want their mask and vax mandates enforced county wide, but the county sheriff publicly said he will not enforce mask or vax mandates. That led to an ongoing attempt to have the office of county sheriff appointed, no longer elected. There are many steps to achieve that change and would eventually require approval by the electorate at a November election. Schools are not under the jurisdiction of the Bd of County Commissioners, but many school districts still have mask mandates in place. Stores seem well stocked. Costco put a limit on the purchase of paper products, but seems well stocked. Town and county meetings seem to have wider public participation than pre covid. Early voter turnout for the Nov 2nd local election is reportedly much higher than prior years.
South Central PA. Under the tyranny of Gov Wolfe we have a mixed bag. In my rather rural pockets you don’t see too many masks and ever increasing bare spots on the grocery store.
My spouse works as a government contractor for a well known company. He is out on short term disability due to a severe infection that threw him for a loop in September. Last week the company sent him notice that he would be terminated on December 9th if he doesn’t receive a shot by November 24th.
The infection impacted him neurologically and he is not fully recovered. Some days he doesn’t even remember my name or the name of his company. This could get interesting.
Vote the bums out. It is up to you to decide who that might be. Perhaps those that are taking your freedoms away?
I’m in the Columbia River Gorge area of Oregon. I have been a nurse for 25 years, the past two working for OHSU. My medical exception was denied, then my religious exception was denied. Currently on unpaid leave, since October 18th, scheduled to be terminated on December 2nd if not fully vaccinated.
OHSU has over 22,00 employees/students. They approved 4 ME’s, yes FOUR(!), and only 20 RE’s. They never give accurate numbers about anything. So it’s unclear how many requests for exception there actually were. They also terminated employees that NEVER are on the hospital campus or interact with patients. The Oregan State Board of Nursing voted a few weeks ago that nurses must be in compliance with the Mandate for licensure. Having an ME or an RE is considered compliant. For now.
Once I have been officially terminated, I can apply for unemployment. It used to be a super simple, online process. Not anymore. Now they are requiring a video interview and utilizing facial
Biometrics. We all know where this is leading to….
Thank God almighty that I got off of social media when my son came along.
In Wasco County, where I live, it’s pretty chill. I have had no one hassle me about not wearing a mask. Sadly, I am usually one of only two or three without a mask when I go into stores. Our church has been 100% open since June of 2020. The sherif has said that he will not be enforcing the mask issue. Most of the people I know in town are not jabbed and are awake to the reality of what’s happening in the world.
I live on the route to the local hospital. For the past 6 weeks, I have been putting “Educational” signs up on my car. So far, nothing has been vandalized.
The only thing I really know for sure, is that God is GOOD. And He loves us.
Love and blessings to all.
All universities are staffed by the worst dregs of society. They need to lose that money and it needs to go back to the people.
