Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Justice issued a memorandum to the FBI instructing them to initiate investigations of any parent attending a local school board meeting who might be viewed as confrontational, intimidating or harassment. The intent of the targeting memo is clear, the political activists within the DOJ are telling the political activists within the FBI to target ordinary parents as ‘Domestic Terrorists‘ or ‘Extremists‘, and open the door for federal action against their local civic activity.
Lisa Monaco was Barack Obama’s former homeland security advisor and former legal counsel in the White House. Monaco was the tip of the spear in using political activism under the guise of ‘homeland security’ to target political opposition. That type of political targeting is her specialty. Lisa Monaco is now the Deputy Attorney General of the United States.
As a direct result of her skill-set in combination with her current position, it is almost a guarantee that Deputy AG Lisa Monaco authored the DOJ targeting memorandum that AG Merrick Garland signed and sent to the FBI. Again, weaponizing internal political targeting under the guise of homeland security concerns is what Monaco is specifically famous for doing. People need to pull their children out of the public schools en masse. Although I laud the parents speaking up, some of them brilliantly, at school board meetings, I’m not hearing that it’s having much of an effect—except for the school board association trying to sic the FBI on protesting parents. The only way to really hit the associations and unions where it hurts is to remove the children from their clutches.
Yes, that means one parent giving up a job, or changing work hours, or kids in sports losing college scholarship opportunities. There will be a cost. But if people’s children are important enough, isn’t it a cost worth paying?
The vast majority of middle class people and certainly all upper middle class parents can afford to homeschool or send their kids to private school.
The truth is they don’t want to make the sacrifices. They like their new cars, big houses, vacations, designer bags, cable TV, sports tickets, boats, RVs, lake houses etc.
You can work two jobs, work opposite hours from your spouse, drive old cars, cut your phone to bare bones, cook at home all the time, sell luxuries, etc.
There has to be a way to withhold the school monies from property taxes. That’s where the school funding comes from besides the federal government. If you can get your property tax to go towards another schooling option for your children that would be a victory. Otherwise they keep the money and don’t teach your kids anything useful.
I have been thinking about how to accomplish this for years, seems to me the way to do it is through a religious org… they pay no property taxes.
There should be a way to pay your taxes into a trust in protest, thus they are paid, just not available for use by the criminals.

One more thing on this: The System decided anything and everything was acceptable in pursuit of the goal to get rid of Trump. Every rule and norm was thrown out. Some of us warned that it was permanently changing the rules of what Americans will deem acceptable.

Parents need to retake control of their school boards in the next election and then threaten to replace any school superintendent who allows the teaching of CRT in their district.

The most immediate question that comes to mind is jurisdiction. How are alleged threats/harrassment of local school board members a Federal issue? The deeper issue is the ability of those in power to label dissent “terrorist” activity and immediately trigger a Federal response with the full weight of the DOJ/FBI brought to bear. You may not be ultimately found to be guilty but you will likely spend your last dime defending yourself a la Michael Flynn.

The Justice Department will also create specialized training and guidance for local school boards and school administrators. This training will help school board members and other potential victims understand the type of behavior that constitutes threats, how to report threatening conduct to the appropriate law enforcement agencies, and how to capture and preserve evidence of threatening conduct to aid in the investigation and prosecution of these crimes.
The feds are to set up relationships and lines of communication with state land local law enforcement entities specifically to report complaints or appearances of targeted behaviors. At the same time, the feds “educate” the school boards on how to be triggered. When local law enforcement complies with the reporting regime, the feds will claim jurisdiction because they are in a joint task force.
Let us hope they’ll be laughed at and run out of town by sane and law abiding governors and sheriffs across America.
