CTH had originally reported on this stunning story back in June [SEE HERE]. After previously refusing to fire the FBI agents involved in the case, today FBI Director Chris Wray finally said he fired the main FBI agent, Michael Langeman, responsible for facilitating the abuse of young female gymnasts. During his testimony before congress Wray stated: “I want to begin by saying to the brave women who testified this morning … I’m deeply and profoundly sorry to each and every one of you.” {link}
BACKSTORY – An absolutely damning Inspector General investigation released in June, reflected horrific FBI conduct in the rape and sexual assault of U.S. Gymnasts revealing how FBI agents facilitated Larry Nassar’s sex crimes by taking no action despite numerous witness statements to them.
Worse yet, the FBI never reported the sexual assaults to local law enforcement… and to top it off, the FBI agents lied during the investigation of their conduct, and the DOJ under AG Bill Barr refused to prosecute the FBI liars.
The entire IG report [Must Read pdf Here] reveals layer-upon-layer of FBI wrongdoing, misconduct and false statements in an effort to cover-up their activity when the internal investigation of their conduct began. This report is a total condemnation of the FBI rank and file. It really is quite stunning.
IG Report Excerpt – […] “The OIG found that, despite the extraordinarily serious nature of the allegations and the possibility that Nassar’s conduct could be continuing, senior officials in the FBI Indianapolis Field Office failed to respond to the Nassar allegations with the utmost seriousness and urgency that they deserved and required, made numerous and fundamental errors when they did respond to them, and violated multiple FBI policies.
The Indianapolis Field Office did not undertake any investigative activity until September 2nd, five weeks after the meeting with USA Gymnastics—when they telephonically interviewed one of the three athletes. Further, FBI Indianapolis never interviewed the other two gymnasts who they were told were available to meet with FBI investigators.
This absence of any serious investigative activity was compounded when the Indianapolis Field Office did not transfer the matter to the FBI office (the Lansing Resident Agency), where venue most likely would have existed had evidence been developed to support the potential federal crimes being considered, even though the Indianapolis office had been advised to do so by the USAO and had told USA Gymnastics that the transfer had occurred.
Additionally, the Indianapolis office did not notify state or local authorities of the sexual assault allegations even though it questioned whether there was federal jurisdiction to pursue them. As a result, the Lansing Resident Agency did not learn of the Nassar allegations until over a year after they were first reported to the FBI and then learned of them only from the MSUPD.
Moreover, the FBI conducted no investigative activity in the matter for more than 8 months following the September 2015 interview. During that period of time, as alleged and detailed in numerous civil complaints, Nassar’s sexual assaults continued.” (read full report)
Do not overlook this part:
The FBI originally responded to the IG report with this statement:
FBI Response to IG – “As the Inspector General made clear in today’s report, this should not have happened. The FBI will never lose sight of the harm that Nassar’s abuse caused. The actions and inactions of certain FBI employees described in the report are inexcusable and a discredit to this organization. The FBI has taken affirmative steps to ensure and has confirmed that those responsible for the misconduct and breach of trust no longer work FBI matters.
Prior to today, the FBI initiated improvements to make sure that serious allegations, such as these, are promptly shared with our law enforcement partners and within the FBI. As a continuation of these efforts, the FBI is fully committed to implementing all of the recommendations made by the Inspector General.
We will take all necessary steps to ensure that the failures of the employees outlined in the report do not happen again.” (link)
The FIB IS (emphasis) Antifa
Why waste time on a subject where nothing is going to happen? Which seems to be about everything now days. There is no accountability.
You are correct and whatever it is, nothing matters.
Nothing matters under Communist/Fascist/Totalitarian Government. Only Power and Control.
Nothing matters unless and until Fraudulent elections are a thing in the past. It is that simple but not easy. The reason it is not easy is because #1 fraudulent elections work. It is not easy because #2 to change fraudulent elections would be an admission of fraudulent elections.
Correction: not Antifa but rather Profa
The FBI has become a complete joke.
that is pretty much true of the United States of America under the current fascist regime.
“has become?”.
Wray: Committed to fixing the internal FBI problems. Yeah, sure.
The entire federal government is corrupt beyond repair. It is time for Texas, Florida, and like-minded states to call an end to the Union and depart.
Country has to offically go bankrupt first otherwise it will be an uphill battle. Republican politicians are too afraid. If everyone has nothing to lose, we can finally get ride of the scum and villainy in federal government.
I cannot disagree but the other states are largely steered by idiot sympathizers who will never take a stand. Would Cooper in NC ever hear an argument for secession?
We tried that here in SC at a meeting we had last year with our elected reps in our state… they wanted no part of that yet.
Why now? As is customary…this is covering up or diverting our attention away from something else…
There are so many things they want us to look away from, it’s difficult to figure out which one it could be.
You are wray too observant!
stay focused…there is only one issue…ELECTION CRIMES 2020
Exactly…my point earlier. This day of all days after Milley’s treason displayed? Gymnast is top story?
Sounds like Abbott needs prosecuted and fired. Better yet, let’s throw out the baby with the bath water and get rid of the FBI.
If only everyone had been fully vaccinated, this would not have happened.
I assume the corrective action to take will be to eliminate any mention of wrong doing in any future OIG reports.
Very strongly worded Power Point will be distributed to the Rank & Vile.
Of all the FBI abuses, screw ups and corruption, this is the least warranting an apology.
What if it had been your daughter??? My daughter was a competitive gymnast and no punishment is enough for this damn pedophile and those that allowed it and/or delayed investigation.
The attempted FBI over throw of a sitting president is more aggreious.
Did we get an apology for that?
Did we get an FBI apology for the Pulse nightclub Islamic terrorist massacre? 50 dead!
Or San Bernadino? 15 dead!
The Garland ” Draw The Prophet” attack was foiled, but despite the FBI. Local LEO stopped that one.
Otherwise scores dead because FBI did nothing.
No apology.

I have a personal friend who has a daughter who was a victim of this bastard. How are these FBI agents not in prison?
They reside within the deep state and are untouchable.
I would imagine the victims are asking the same question. Wray’s apology is meaningless.
there’e always civil action if your friends are up to it.
The FBI is an organized crime syndicate.
Christopher Wray: in a five-way tie for first place in the contest for the worst people Trump hired.
Wray, Sessions, Barr, Milley, Scaramucci.
Paul Manafort #6
And so many more. Trump’s biggest failures were all those lousy personnel choices. He accomplished a lot in spite of that but could have accomplished so much more had he surrounded himself with loyal people instead of backstabbers.
This is why I have reservations about Trump being President again; but perhaps he will be better informed the second time around.
How can you not realize the McTurdle controlled most of the hiring process?
Don’t fergit Pence, he who discussed with Mattis and Coats to 25th Trump
We received a great gift when Pence froze and now he will never be in that position ever again. Think about it Pence in a second term and wins on the 2028 Ballot? Pence froze when the klaxon called.
But who was in charge when this was going on, Director of the FBI 2015-2016?
Couldn’t have been James Comey, could it? That Prince of Purity?
your about 500 short
Outsiders to the swamp are always at a disadvantage. When Trump won, the process for getting his team together was rushed…intentionally. Remember the “demands” from a variety of segments to have his staff in order well before he was inaugurated? I think this was orchestrated to help rush the decision process so chosen dupes and dunces would be pushed into place.
After his first year, with multiple bad hires, it was clearly time to get better people in place. DJT also didn’t clear the deck of Obama scum festering within these departments. Why? I contend the UNIPARTY R’s pushed for continuity, as it played into their overall theme . The evil turtle gets credit for helping put in judges. HA! It’s the only thing he did, as everything else thwarted many of PDJT’s efforts…all by design. Such evil people.
McTurdle hired.
Pence?
Start by castrating the man … just below the chin.
I second the motion….
And do it SLOWLY!
TaLIBAN STYLE….
I have two daughters. I cannot imagine the pain those parents (much less the victims) have gone through knowing that these predators preyed on their children. And then, the FBI did nothing.
What motivation did those FBI criminals have? Were they paid by someone to keep quiet? Were they predators themselves? There must be a reason. No normal human would turn away from this horror and do nothing.
My eyes have rolled so far into the back of my head, I’m not sure I’ll ever get them back in the correct position.
Always kind of hoped (thought) Simone Biles dropping out of most of her olympic gymnastics competitions was her revenge for this. ? ?
If Wray had an ounce of decency (which we know he doesnt) he would resign if he was that sorry!
But he isn’t sorry, he isn’t hurt by this.
He is nothing but a piece if trash and I would really love to see each and everyone of these swamp creatures put on the guillotine!
It’s time for a French style revolution. (I hate to say that)
FBI field offices more corrupt than DC headquarters.
After a major screw-up, it figures that the lawyer’s (Wray) response is to say, “I’m sorry.” This POS Wray keeps talking about fixing things at the FBI. At this stage, it sounds like the best way to fix the FBI is to dissolve it. It seems to always spring into action after a crime has been committed, even after they get warned about criminal activity.
Keep in mind, people in positions like Wray are not leaders or administrators. They’re politicians through and through.
Wow. Someone actually got fired. Of course the Federal Bureau of Injustice is corrupted from top to bottom like most of the rest of Washington DC. How is this ever going to get fixed?
This fired disgrace will show up in some other governmental incarnation. You just watch.
Layers and layers of black hats. Rotten through and through. The single greatest threat to freedom and real democracy.
We all want to abolish the FBI. The GOP will fight against that even if they have to engage in criminal acts to do so. Even if they have to deliberately throw House/Senate elections to do so. It would be easy since they have lots of practice.
FBI war on women?
All government workers are useless overpaid arrogant POS.
Our volunteer rank and file military is the only arm of our government I would trust.
As a veteran, it disgusts me to say I don’t even trust the military anymore. The majority of the rank and file will do whatever their O-6 and above superiors direct them to do.
That’s alarming if true.
Most of these fbi are just counting days until retirement. They don’t want to do anything other than giving favors to their master demonrats who will promote them for plumb job when they retire.
Or get high paying gigs with corporate security departments.
to cnn sucks: “demonrat” highly accurate term. They are demons and rats. Just need to drop the “c” out if democrat & replace with “n”.
Yes, this was horrible and gymnasts involved deserve our sympathy and shared outrage.
However, I find is even more horrific that Congress and the Media used this crime as well as the pain of these women as a diversion.
Epstein has festered for years and was pulled off the stove when no damage could be done to President Trump.
The current administration under Obama has facilitated sex trafficking across our borders and ended President Trump’s sex trafficking task force.
At US tax payer expense, 1,000’s of Afghan men were flown to the US with their multiple pre-teen brides and concubines (property in their eyes… Dred Scott case anybody)…all that was OK.
Now we are supposed to watch this senate squirrel show castigating the FBI while Congress and President for Life Obama work to remove more of our rights and wreck the nation. Notice the focus was NOT even the Gymnasts but on the faux outrage of an FBI failure. The gymnasts were used (AGAIN) as props by the democrat party and media.
Nothing but a bunch of lawyers covering each other.
The Bar Association is a Criminal enterprise. Wherever there is conflict they make money. They drag it out to make more money.
No respect from me.
Wray (commenting on the IG report): Blah blah blah blah, and blah blah blah (breathe) blah blah blah… meh (shoulder shrug)
Gymnasts sexually assaulted = No big deal. Garage door pull loop = dispatch a platoon of agents immediately to investigate this high crime against minorities.
Don’t forget the white collar crime of an elderly man who was paraded in his pajamas by the FBI in the middle of the night to a live CNN broadcast while tens of agents, including frogmen and SWAT gear, surrounded the house.
That was apparently far more dangerous and important to the FBI than a sexual predator violating scores of young women.
FBI’s job #1 … job/pension preservation.
Serve the public interest!? Hahahaha ha ha ha hahahahaha ha ha … ha
I suppose there really isn’t any punishment for having a “lack of candor” for federal agents while being questioned by OIG investigators. There is a very limited amount of review for this testimony, but Nasser created such a foul stench that it wasn’t going to be easily swept under the FOIA/Privacy Act rug when “Strategic Leaking” can be employed. Once something like this scandal has occurred under a politician’s watch and the fibbies haven’t been able wash out the stink the “public servants” must “do the right thing” and bodies need to be thrown to the dogs.
We are in the best of hands, people, the BEST of hands!
And that Bill Barr, why he is our TOP man!
“…Top Man”.
Reminds me of my Cavalry Troop First Sargent, which I commanded. The worst thing you could call him was “Top Sargent” or “Top”, because the “Top” in Navy Slang used to mean the lid on the toilet on-board a ship (he was a service transfer from the Navy).
In this case “Top Man” fits.
Maggie Nichols (
@MagsGotSwag12):
“The @FBI issued no search warrants and made no arrests … The OIG report found that senior FBI officials lied to the IG, engaged in conflicts of interest & tried to cover up the biggest sexual abuse scandals in the history of sports.”
And
‘We suffered and continue to suffer’: Simone Biles, elite gymnasts blast FBI over failing to stop Larry Nassar abuse
https://tinyurl.com/kwrm3xba
The states need to go after the FBI agents.
Law enforcement are MANDATED reporters when it comes to child abuse.
Reports of child abuse are required to be reported to state registries which in turn notify child protective services.
When I worked in law enforcement, we had 24 hours to report the receipt of a possible case of child abuse to the state registry and failure to do so was a crime.
The first question every supervisor asked us was if we had reported the incident to the registry and if they gave us an incident number for our report.
Nothing could get you jammed up with IAB like dropping the ball on a child abuse case, especially if it involved sexual abuse.
Wray and Horowitz should be screaming for Garland to prosecute the agents involved in the case.
My school teacher wife is MANDATED to report any behavior or injury suggesting child abuse to authorities.
What if those authorities are the FBI?
What a waste
If there is a similar law in Indiana (as is common in most states), shouldn’t the Indiana AG be following up on this travesty, and indicting some FBI officials/agents?
Indiana does have such a law.
The penalty for failure to report is a class B misdemeanor.
Yes, the state should pursue charges against the FBI agents.
The American people have many enemies. Some are foreign, but most are domestic. Among the most dangerous of all our domestic enemies is the FBI.
Having spent 30 years supporting federal law enforcement efforts as part of an elite unit (not FBI), I have seen a once proud and respected agency circle the drain, sinking ever deeper, to the point that it is now deep within the sewer having joined all the other sh!t down there. I have zero expectation that Wray or anyone else will do a dang thing about this.
P.S. – Note to Hannity: Where are all the “good rank and file agents” you speak of? You can’t show me even one.
Absolutely! Hannity lost me forever when he continued over and over and over … speaking of the “rank and file” FBI as being stand up folks. They’re NOT.
Every FBI Agent will do exactly what their superiors tell them to do. Even if it means MORE little girls get abused or innocent people die.
The “rank and file” only care about themselves and their careers. There are no conservative whistle blowers in ANY Federal Agency … they’re all looking out for their OWN careers and pensions. To hell with the LAW … to hell with the victims. Gotta kiss the asses of their leftist superiors.
THIS … is the WORST of what 8-long-years of Obama did to America. His implants are DEEP into every single alphabet acronym Agency.
Are the 99% that Hannity always talks about any better than the corrupt 1% when the 99% sit back and remain silent?
Until the rank and file stand up and force out the corrupt, they will remain no better than the corrupt.
Can Indiana arrest and charge the Indianapolis SSA?
What is even more disturbing is that there are 37,000 FBI employees. That works out to 740 agents in field offices and home office per state. And they still couldn’t do their job.
Who cares? This is a distraction. FOX radio and TV carried this whole statement live. They would not ever do that during a Senate hearing when the swamp is being questioned. Milley is all that should be talked about.
I care, and chose to read this thread just like you. I am glad that this was broadcast by the media. The more people learn that the FBI is a corrupt and incompetent organization, the closer we get to possibly changing things for the better.
Also, most of us have time to care about multiple issues, including Milley.
I hope fixing the FBI (abolishing it?) is high on the things-to-do list for President Trump in his second term.
There is a background US Olympic Team political story to this whole sordid tragedy, which is not being told.
2 of my daughters were gymnasts, actually made it to Level 10 Nationals before injuries and interest took their toll. That being said, means I had a keen interest in the sport and followed it closely for quite some time. At the time of the “investigations” and breaking news about the case, there was a major power struggle over management as well as coaching direction for the US Gymnastics National Team…put simply the commercial backers, major media powers and people running the USOG wanted the Karoli’s as well as their associates OUT OF THE WAY, after the Karoli’s and their associates had worked so hard for years to put US Gymnastics on the World Map, so it could be financially exploited.
This investigation achieved that goal, at the time.
At the time, the US Women’s Gymnastics Team had allot of national and international attention (which means allot money to be made if exploited). Plus, they had US Government direct support and interest as they were seen as one of the “weapons” providing tons of positive propaganda to be exploited. We know what happens when Big Money and Government interests overlap.
If you’re actually a Doc. as your ‘name’ implies, you must not be a DO?
Because a DO … understands that *ahem* manipulations of a young gymnasts body can help her heal, stretch further, and move up the competitive ladder. It will just require that the DO use his fingers to stimulate the “special” nerve endings which will unleash the gymnasts greatest capabilities. Right? Isn’t this what the creep Nassar told his victims? Was Nassar a DO?
Do these fall in Shammity’s 99.9% category?
He needs to revise that number. But he won’t.
time up.
time to aggressively targeting FBI AGENTS and capturing traffic.
this is THE ONLY WAY we the people are going to corner these jackwagons.
we have to get Intel offensive and force these Corruptors to react.
they are far too comfortable with this abuse of power.
we will need to target them.
every SINGLE ONE.
then we will have become relevant.
our power has not been respected because they have no fear.
we need to make them afraid. saddle them with direct personal fear.
then we can advance stage 3 in a manner of our choosing.
make a hole…make it wide.
He sure is one SORRY POS…along with the group he is associated with. The entire Federal Government is corrupt needs to be torn down.
Wray will address this issue at the next CRT training class.
The fact that the FBI is doing nothing to improve their reputation via good PR is all you need to know about the deep state. They could care less about the reputation of the FBI and what we think of them.
‘I’m sorry’ might be good enough when your three-year-old messes up, but all those involved in this sordid and disgusting affair should face serious punishment e.g. long term incarceration in a federal prison!!!
After all, there’s plenty of room ever since those in power released thousands of convicted felons to avoid the spread of the no-more-deadly-than-the-flu China virus.
Oh look, FBI another noose complaint. Go check it out, boy …… Good FBI!
is anyone else blown away by how corrupt our government has gotten in a relatively short amount of time?
Unfortunately for us, it wasn’t done in a short time. It’s been this way for a long time. We are just starting to understand the depths of the corruption – and they don’t like the sunlight.
