BACKGROUND: People have wondered how the Biden administration could get the collapse of Afghanistan so horribly wrong and botched completely the withdrawal of U.S. forces. To that point there is a little known Question and Answer session by Colorado Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO, CD05) that deserves some attention.
On June 23rd, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley testified in front of the House Armed Services Committee about their budget requests. Rep Doug Lamborn took this opportunity, he only had 4 minutes, to ask some very specific questions about Afghanistan and his concerns for early reports of the Taliban surging back into control.
Lamborn asked about the hazard of closing Bagram AFB given the tenuous nature of reliance on one airport in Kabul. Lamborn also asked about the evacuation of U.S-Afghan allies and the risk to women and girls if the Taliban were successful.

Given the nature of what has happened in Afghanistan, those totally wrong estimations of the situation in the region should be enough to see both Secretary Austin and General Milley fired. At the very least, reliance on this inept and totally wrong outlook explains why the Biden administration had no idea what was about to happen.
Congressman Doug Lamborn’s questioning was directly on point, and in hindsight, stunningly prescient. Great job by Lamborn!
Hopefully, Austin was wrong when he said that any defense of women and girls in Afghanistan will be contingent upon the U.S. embassy in Kabul. The U.S. embassy in Kabul is no longer there, the Taliban have it.
Even a lowly Congressman was more aware of what was happening on the Afghanistan and had a better grasp of what were really concerning issues than the Sec. of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. These heads must roll!!!
They knew of the issues, but decided to give up the base for political reasons.

1) Storm Kabul

2) Take the Embassy
(No Resistance)

That’s the read I have on Glen Beck as well. The last 5 minutes were Glenn discussing the difficulties he’s had with our State Dept trying to get Christians, mostly women and children out of Afghanistan because as Converts they are singled out for a special treatment involving torture and being set on fire.
He said the children blown up by the Taliban this morning in Kabul were part of that group. So far he has helped get 5100 out to other nearby countries, but Biden State Department is calling countries and urging them not to accept them.

I could not be more disappointed, ashamed and or angry looking at what this once Great God Fearing country has become. My Dad was in the Air Force during WWII, my Father in law served in the Navy & flew off aircraft carriers as a pilot dropping bombs on our many enemies. They and their fellow countrymen were the of the “ the greatest generation”. We had everything they sacrificed to give to us yet we are weak and fearful. However, the Bible tells us God is sovereign over ALL the nations. He and He alone is all we should fear.
I humbly suggest, we first all pray fervently for this country, America. There is not a moment to be lost. Pray for forgiveness for our wickedness. It’s astounding to me how many people, people you and I know who really don’t believe in Good and evil.
Second, pray for the desperate people in Afghanistan & especially pray for those directly in harms way particularly for the women and young children.
Third, if you have the means, give to organizations that go in after all the desolation and heartache and try to reach and heal the wounds of body, mind and spirit. If you don’t know of one Samaritans Purse is excellent and uses donations wisely add presents the gospel.
Fourth and truly most important let us Pray for revival not just here in our country but a world wide revival, the harvest is ripe.

Lamborn is from Colorado Springs, I believe, and that is the largest military bastion in the rocky mountain region. Lamborn would likely have a pretty good idea what is happening at the top levels of the military/industrial complex. So, on this subject, he probably isn’t clueless.

What Glenn Beck said tonight on Tucker Carlson’s show is deeply disturbing. According to Mr. Beck, the US State Department and the White House are intentionally and specifically blocking efforts to evacuate Afghan Christians. He specifically named our Ambassador to a certain country who was ready to receive these people but called back and said State had instructed him not to take them. He also said there were certain other Muslim countries who had stepped up to take in these Christian refugees but were being threatened by our own Government.
Who in our government is threatening people against taking Christians? This needs to be exposed LOUDLY!
