If you remember how Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi forced former Representative Bart Stupak and the 19 Blue Dog democrats to cave on the Obamacare construct in 2010, then you have a solid reference point for what Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are doing right now.
As you are reading this, Nancy Pelosi has pulled together her leadership group overnight to change the House rules for legislative passage of the $3.5 trillion Green New Deal spending package under the auspices of “infrastructure.”
This $3.5 trillion spending bill is in addition to the $1.5 trillion infrastructure bill that came from the Senate, and… she is using the $2 trillion budget package as the carrier for a slick “Deem and Pass” maneuver.
As we have seen before, right now Pelosi is changing the House rules to have a single vote on the current budget proposal which will include a ‘deem and pass’ provision that adds the $3.5 trillion Green New Deal spending package to it.
By voting to pass the omnibus budget bill, all House members will also be voting to authorize as passed the additional $3.5 trillion GND as a wraparound.
This means one single vote passes this massive social engineering project with more than $5.5 trillion in spending in a single bill. Thereafter, the House will vote on the Senate bill separately to add another $1.5 trillion, bringing the total spending by the House before they depart to a whopping $7 trillion; forever changing the American landscape.
After several hours of discussion and conference with a group of 10 ‘moderate’ democrats led by New Jersey Representative Josh Gottheimer, shortly before 1:00am ET, Pelosi sent the House Democrats home with a pledge to finish the rules changes and prepare for a vote today, Tuesday. The House will reconvene at noon and the votes will be whipped.

However, in the final analysis it looks like Gottheimer and his ten moderate colleagues are going to end up doing the same thing as Bart Stupak and the Blue Dogs did with Obamacare. Which means they will likely cave and approve the bill and procedural changes.

I believe there is one hope remaining — irrefutable proof of massive election fraud that installed an illegitimate president and Congress. Evidence of an orchestrated coup against the legitimate govt in violation of the US Constitution.

Margie, you have expressed my sentiments exactly. Until Afghanistan and this spending travesty, I continued to hold out hope. These have been the straws that broke the camel’s back for me.
I kept hoping for a game changing event. I had high hopes for audits, but I see everyone but AZ getting shut down by well placed Rinos and corrupt courts. I personally think that the AZ audit will end up being the most disheartening gut punch yet. It will reveal massive cheating. Enough to flip the state. But the gut punch will be in the form of these results being blacked out, discredited and ridiculed. The senate will not decertify, and things will go on largely like they are now, only we will be angrier and more disillusioned.
In spite of it not being the best time for me to travel for a variety of reasons, I have purchased tickets to gather with my family in OK for Labor Day. My reasoning is that I expect air travel to be a no go for me over the vaccine mandates. Driving from SW Florida to OK just won’t be an easy thing with $5 plus gas.
Mandates are coming. Passports are coming. For those who say that they can’t pull it off in the US, I beg to differ. Look at what they have already pulled off that we never thought possible. I am frustrated beyond words that the American people are allowing this to happen, but will admit that I don’t really know what to do either. There is a lot of talk and bluster about “the next step” but I just really don’t think it is going to happen. I don’t think we will fight back anymore than the Aussies or Europeans.

Our only hope as I see it is to take control on every level locally. County Boards of Supervisors pay attention to Homeowners Associations and Mayors. Vet Sheriff’s elections with extreme care. The State Legislators listen to Mayors and Sherriffs, and the Governors listen to all of them.
The pushback has to come from republicans on the state level. We aren’t hearing nearly enough from the state level with the notable exception of a few republican Governors. Pro tip, governors can even put pressure on your useless republican representatives in congress. A good governor is priceless.
