This was so predictable CTH wrote about it HERE. Several states responded to the call from Texas Governor Greg Abbott asking for allied states to send law enforcement and national guard to secure the southern border after the Biden administration actively, intentionally and purposefully works to keep it open.
With the potential for cooperation from states, what I call “extreme federalism“, to secure the border regardless of the Federal inaction, an assembly of various activist groups are petitioning the White House to confront the states with direct military action.
The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), a far-left communist advance group, is asking Joe Biden to fight the state effort with all measures possible, including armed confrontation.
WASHINGTON DC – […] “We told the president in no uncertain terms, this is an insurrection by recalcitrant and rebellious states that must be stopped,” says Domingo Garcia, national president of LULAC. He said Mr. Abbott, who hosted former President Donald Trump for a border visit last week, was “fomenting dangerous racial hatred targeting Latinos.”
LULAC’s Texas director, Rodolfo Rosales Jr., compared the states’ actions to the Civil War. “We are being invaded by governors of the defeated Confederacy to arm the border against brown women and children escaping political persecution, hunger, and death,” he said.
The states LULAC cited — Arizona, Nebraska, Idaho, Florida and South Dakota — don’t exactly match with the contours of the Confederacy, and questions over states’ ability to influence federal immigration policy extend well beyond the current Biden administration border crisis. (read more)

Why don’t we have news stories on the hardships these folks have in securing a Border for a State they do not live in?
They are heroes and yet nothing?
There are myrad news stories about the settlers hardships on the border. Stop looking for the progressive-socialist mainstream media to carry them.
Society has conventions so that it works smoothly. Not political rallies, but shortcuts that everyone understands. For example, the traffic lights at street intersections rely on our acceptance of the convention that red means stop and green means go. It eliminates the necessity of a person directing traffic and save countless accidents.
These conventions are generally codified into law, but not always. For example, women wear makeup and dresses; men wear suits. The left understands that to the extent they can destroy those uncodified conventions, they can destroy codified conventions. The goal is the disruption of society so that the distinctions between what is considered correct and incorrect are blurred and eliminated. This allows the distortion of reality so that men can say they are women and women can say they are men and you are wrong and oppressive if you disagree.
This elimination of what is considered correct and incorrect can then be used to eliminate the laws that codify such distinctions and castigate those who continue to make such distinctions. You then end up with claims that those who want to make our borders secure are terrorists and those who want people judged on their merits rather than the color of their skin are racists.
This, then, allows the remaking of society through the use of force against those who resist these distortions of reality. We then live “1984”.
Hold the show right there! Don’t believe such garbage. Many are tired of garbage and overreach from DC be it executive orders, bureaucratic regulations or unConstitutional legislation. Read the Sanctuary County web site on Constitution and 2nd Amendment Sanctuary counties. Look at the data on Newton County MO where they empowered their sheriff to arrest federal agents, the very ones coming for your personal freedoms (guns, gold, silver, etc.). Read updates on Sanctuary Counties from Noah Davis on GAB. Start attending your county board meetings and making new friends! You have influence.
You have entirely missed Dan Tige’s point. Go back and read it again, you may actually learn what it is you are fighting to defend against.
You have given us a deep and penetrating insight into the mindset of the Left. These are things I have been saying for years, along with many other conservative-leaning thinkers.
The only problem being (cite-Ron White) is, “You can’t fix stupid!” Because if one could, none of this nonsense would even be at issue.

You elect your sheriff, board and judges at the county level. Stop waiting for a party to save you. Start attending your county board meetings and Start making new like minded friends!
Organization and coordination starts local, spot-on. Perhaps an unpopular opinion here but plenty of us have seen political parties as dead for decades. Humans matter, their sensibilities, their commitment to their neighbors and fellow citizens, and what they do and who they are when no one but God is gazing upon them.
Where I live is nowhere near a national border but we have our county borders and are well aware of the Communist threat from the north in our state. Ever vigilant. Nothing is off the table as a solution. Resolutions and proclamations and ordinances, etc, are good first, peaceful steps. Done.

Can someone explain to me why we are not impeaching Joe Biden and Kamala Harris? They took an oath to protect and defend the constitution. Yet they are actively violating our immigration laws. Surely, inviting illegal aliens to swarm our border and actively transporting those who were previously deported back to the states is a violation of law. Does it not meet the test of “high crimes and misdemeanors?” Is it considered a futile effort because we don’t hold majorities in the House and Senate? I would think that there would at the very least be a threat of impeachment.
