After many years of granular research about the intelligence apparatus inside our government, in the summer of 2020 I visited Washington DC to ask specific questions.
My goal was to go where the influence agents within government actually operate, and discover the people deep inside the institutions no-one pays any attention to.
It was during this process when I discovered how information is purposefully put into containment silos; essentially a formal process to block the flow of information between agencies, and between the original branches. While frustrating to discover, the silo effect was important to understand because comprehension of communication networks leads to our ability to reconcile conflict between what we perceive and what’s actually taking place.
In the next few days I am going to explain how the Intelligence Branch works: (1) to control every other branch of government; (2) how it functions as an entirely independent branch of government with no oversight; (3) how and why it was created to be independent from oversight; (4) what is the current mission of the IC Branch, and most importantly (5) who operates it.
When we understand how the Fourth Branch works, questions about our dysfunctional U.S. modern government are answered. Additionally, the motives and intentions of people inside the institutions start to reconcile. Before beginning a deeper explanation, here’s an example almost everyone overlooked. Remind yourself of a question raised in March of 2017 by Elise Stefanik, and a set of follow-up questions that were never asked.
In April of 2016 the FBI launched a counterintelligence operation against presidential candidate Donald Trump. The questioning about that operation is what Rep. Stefanik cites in March of 2017, approximately 11 months later.
Things to note:
♦ Notice how FBI Director James Comey just matter-of-factly explains no-one outside the DOJ was informed about the FBI operation. Why? Because that’s just the way things are done. His justification for unilateral operations was “because of the sensitivity of the matter“, totally ignoring any constitutional or regulatory framework for oversight; because, well, quite simply, there isn’t any. The intelligence apparatus inside the DOJ/FBI can, and does, operate based on their own independent determinations of authority.
♦ Notice also how FBI Director Comey shares his perspective that informing the National Security Council (NSC) is the equivalent of notifying the White House. The FBI leadership expressly believe they bear no responsibility to brief the chief executive. As long as they tell some unknown, unelected, bureaucratic entity inside the NSC their unwritten responsibility to inform the top of their institutional silo is complete. If the IC wants to carve out the Oval Office, they simply plant information inside the NSC and, from their perspective, their civic responsibility to follow checks-and-balances is complete. This is an intentional construct.
♦ Notice how Comey obfuscates notification to the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), by avoiding the fact James Clapper was the DNI from outset of the counterintelligence operation throughout the remainder of Obama’s term. When I get deeper into the process we will understand how the Intelligence Branch has intentionally used the creation of the DNI position (established post 9/11/01) as a method to avoid oversight, not enhance it. Keeping an oblivious doofus like James Clapper in position held strategic value [Doofus Reminder HERE].
Also, watch this. Another reminder… and it is likely many readers have forgotten… and watch closely:
https://youtu.be/HTry_MiFA2Q
.
That video of James Comey being questioned by Elise Stefanik was the first example given to me by someone who knew the background of everything that was taking place preceding that March 20, 2017, hearing. That FBI reference point is a key to understand how the Intelligence Branch operates with unilateral authority above congress (legislative branch), above the White House (executive branch), and even above the court system (judicial branch).
After four days of research and meetings in DC during 2020; amid a town that was serendipitously shut down due to COVID; I found a letter slid under the door of my nearly empty hotel room with an introduction of sorts. The subsequent discussions were perhaps the most important. After hours of specific questions and answers on specific examples I realized why our nation is in this mess. That is when I discovered the fourth and superseding branch of government, the Intelligence Branch.
The intelligence branch is an independent functioning branch of government, it is no longer a subsidiary set of agencies within the executive branch as most would think. To understand the intelligence branch we need to drop the elementary school civics class lessons about three coequal branches of government, and replace that outlook with the modern system that created itself.
The intelligence branch functions, much like the State Dept, through a unique set of public-private partnerships that support it. Big Tech industry collaboration with intelligence operatives is part of that functioning; almost like an NGO. However, the process is much more important than most think. In this problematic perspective of a corrupt system of government, the process is the flaw – not the outcome.
There are people making decisions inside this little-known, unregulated and out-of-control branch of government that impact every facet of our lives.
None of the people operating deep inside the Intelligence Branch were elected; and our elected representative House members genuinely do not know how the system works. I know this because I have talked to House and Senate staffers, including the chiefs of staff for multiple House committee seats. They are clueless. That is part of the purpose of me explaining it, with examples, in full detail and sunlight.
There will be a new ‘category’ in the site search feature labeled “Fourth Branch of Govt” for all these research outlines which will show specifically how the Intelligence Branch operates…
Until we fix this modern bastardization of government it doesn’t matter who we elect into office. Politicians are irrelevant, albeit useful, gnats from the perspective of the people in control of the Intelligence Branch. If you doubt that, go watch Comey’s testimony again.
This is the perfect post for this Dis-Independence Day, the Occupied 4th of July.
It is also fitting that Big Tech Nazi-Oligarchs have banned the hashtag #revolution. The only reason to do that is because you are really afraid of one. Banning #revolution on the day when we celebrate the Revolution is something only a Grinch with the heart of a prison matron and the soul of an East German border guard would do. In other words, Jack Dorsey and Mock Zuckerface.
Like the FBI confiscating the Huepers’ Declaration of Independence as subversive literature, this is the Perfect Metaphor for our Time.
They literally and figuratively want to keep Freedom consigned to the history books.
“Nuts.”
I see what you did there.
“NUTS”
And, although Sundance has mentioned it numerous times, it’s worth a brief read here:
https://www.archivesfoundation.org/documents/surrender-nuts-gen-anthony-mcauliffes-1944-christmas-message-troops/
“NUTS”, indeed.
Thanks for that link–perfect for the Day, too.
Sundance, I’ve always admired, respected your research/reporting. As a result I found a permanent branch in this Treehouse; you are a first-rate, top-notch individual who is worthy of the highest award for all that you do (for us). Thank you, thank you!!!
With you nats1mom – no place I’d rather be then here and with all of you! Sundance is my go to news site 24/7 and to my fellow Treepers you are indeed my refuge.
I feel closer to my friends at the Tree House than I do with 90% of my actual family.
That one resonates, Seneca. My family has a big summer party. This year the hostess announced that anyone un-jabbed with the experimental mRNA (no, she didn’t call it that!) would have to wear a mask.
Mind you, this is an outdoor party!
It was amazing how quickly my declining email was sent! They can all gth as far as I’m concerned for this piece of hideousness.
I applaud you. Not taking part in any manipulation.
Nats1mom couldn’t agree with you more. Don’t post here often but read Sundance at least 3-4 times a day looking for information. Would love to meet him someday but will be satisfied with the outstanding insight and research and the beginning of every day with the Lord’s Prayer!!
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is missing from this conversation as well as every single FISA court judge he personally appointed and confirmed himself.
During the last 4 years, I was curious why nobody in Congress bothered to send a subpoena to any FISA court judge involved in the spying on the 2016 Trump presidential campaign including John Roberts, himself!
Odds are that the IC keeps Hoover files on all of the above.
But even if they aren’t blackmailable or threat compliant, the position of FISC judge is really powerless. How many times has the IC brazenly submitted reports on how they break the law, and on how they continue to break the law again and again?
well now they have the eipstein files, which are probably use to keep judges in control, thin emmet sullivan
Exactly Jim. Why do you think the new members ,of the Supreme Court,as well as the old found no standing to the election lawsuits.
They were all whispered in Trump’s ear because dirty laundry in the closet.
Wasn’t John Roberts one of the names on the Epstein Express’ manifest, the flights going to Epstein’s island in the Caribbean?
Different J. Roberts.
Doesn’t make him less compromised though…
That was
john roberts delecto.
Fox New J Roberts denied it. SC Justice has not.
No one knows that!
Never saw any confirmation that it was a different John Roberts. Did I miss something?
Thank you, Sundance. I am really eager for your upcomings. Things do develop and change, and the civics stuff does not describe reality. We can get it back but only if we know first.
Why doesn’t Donald Trump say this stuff? I trust our next champion, whomever that might be, does so. You can’t fix a problem without identifying it properly. And that includes naming the enemy plainly. He who does that may be forced into exile, jailed, or worse. But that seems to be the historical price to pay for promoting revolution.
All I can think of is JFK. I believe the IC is so powerful that they can eliminate their enemies much easier now than in 1963 because they control the MSM and others completely. They can bump off DT, say a disgruntled “extremist” did it because DT wasn’t moving fast enough with the”insurrection”. The Sheeple will eat it up while virtue signaling about the “greatest threat to the nation”.
I wouldn’t put this scenario beyond these traitors to mankind.
I still think back to the head of the CIA and DOJ meeting with CCP Mitch.
What was that all about?
Or the former CIA director that “mysteriously” died while in his fishing boat. They will even “take care of” their own.
William Colby, who had admitted in Congressional testimony to misdeeds by the CIA.
Fredo!
Getting everyone on the same narrative page for the election fraud.
Most likely.
To your first sentence……Las Vegas shooting, Tenn NSA bldg ablaze, Miami condo bldg……
2nd sentence is now obvious. Instructions from Mitch to Barr to not investigate election fraud, and deny it exists.
On the CIA front, instructions tô cover up their involvement in the election and instruct CIA Director to resign.
I imagine that Bury It Barr was just clarifying “no matter what I say in public, I reassure you that I’m on your team and following the plan”.
Think…Andrew Breitbart. Scalia. Seth Rich.
Stand on the street corner and yell the truth and what to do about it. I’ve said as much. Lets hope President Trump will help us know more. Sundance surely does. Perhaps those in power or who seek to return to power will remember that there’s nothing to fear but fear itself. The Bible says you can kill and man but you can’t touch his soul.
Anytime Sundance posts a new article, it needs to be immediately sent to President Trump.
and Rick Grennel !
Ok … starting today … EVERYONE on this site, on your street , who you work with, who your children go to school with & you go to church with … will immediately attack, betray, lie & undermine EVERYTHING you think, do & say … so … tell all of us genius … what will you say?
“Why doesn’t Donald Trump say this stuff?”
He does.
He calls it a witch hunt.
And talks about the “two lovers.”
I missed it but somebody posted that he said the Deep State has 2 parties or something.
He also said we were up against “sinister forces.”
PT may appear to speak idly at times, but those seemed to be carefully chosen words.
Wasn’t the warning from Schumer (these guys have 6 ways from Sunday to get back at you) or the kid getting blown up in the car or Epstein enough for you?
Sort of coincidentally I just finished reading Daylight by David Balducci. One of the premises is that many in our government – judges, congresspeople, military are being blackmailed due to having been enticed into bad behavior and then finding out that their misbehaviors were recorded. It was inferred that many governments and nefarious organizations participate in this and the subjects of the blackmail are well rewarded as long as they stay in line and make decisions to benefit the blackmailers. Otherwise – dead. It wasn’t too hard to imagine where Balducci came up with this storyline.
When Dr. Dave Janda was elected to Congress, his honest mentor said for him never to accept an invitation to a party at a private home, because he would be drugged, led into a compromising position (scopalamine will do that), photographed, and blackmailed.
SOP for the DS.
WOW….So evil!
Baldacci
Somebody needs to make this into a movie, and say it is “Based on a Story”, then all the Millennials will believe it. Same with the 2020 election rigging.
Thanks Sundance, I sincerely mean it, thank you.
History belongs to the winners.

Thanks for posting this.
???The best IS yet to come?????
I’ve got that on the top of my resume.?
Won’t happen, perhaps proving Joe McCarthy was right all along.
The coup became complete when the IC gained independence from oversight.
The most powerful country in the world was overthrown without a shot being fired and hardly anyone noticed.
Any power they have is entirely dependent on our cooperation. Other than that they are human and mortal and get an appointment with God just like we do. I suspect before 2021 is out things will be markedly different than they are now.
When it happens, it’ll happen fast, just like that controlled implosion this evening in Surfside. Quite a sad irony, taking down the remnants of a building where so many died on the evening of the commemoration of our Independence.
The IC is not independent of oversight – never was and never will be.
OTOH – the people in place charged with keeping an eye on them are incompetent and being led around by the very people they are supposed to be watching.
Is there any institution of the federal government that is not an Enemy of the People?
No. But once you say that clearly and publicly you will become a specific target and easily picked-off. Perhaps it would be better to be more discreet and be a dissident.
Try to look unimportant. The enemy may be running low on ammo.
There’s nothing more Inflationary and Ineffective than a massive “Intelligence Community.”
If we take Inflation as the result of non-productive enterprises (or receivers) which add to the Demand but they don’t add to the Supply of useable goods; things become much more expensive.
Ineffectually, throughout the History of Western Civilization espionage was rightly disparaged (that’s why spies don’t have the rights of citizens and can be sent to places like GITMO, or in war they’re not covered under the Geneva Convention) because it creates an ever compounding exercise of futility. It’s the undeniable reality of social contacts and a limitless objective combined with a strategic mission incorporating highly suspect anything-goes philosophies such as “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
Also there’s the whole ballooning phenomena of the 10’ fence – 11’ ladder, 11’ fence – 12’ ladder, and so on. The whole thing has always been considered utterly ridiculous. Basically you have your society creating spies and not goods and services.
There’s only one valid reason for modern espionage. That’s to detect First Strike Nuclear Capability. All the rest is a complete farse, but it does make for a really good (and extremely zealous) political constituency. It’s zealous because it can be. Our Rights were trampled in its creation so it leverages that against anything which threatens its preservation.
All this stuff flows down hill as predictably as water into a pond or should I say swamp.
When the Berlin Wall came down, Wife and I were watching the celebrations. I told her, “All the U.S. spies that were watching east Berlin and Russia are now gonna start watching us.” And that’s exactly what has happened.
When the Berlin Wall came down, Wife and I were watching the celebrations. I told her, “All the U.S. spies that were watching east Berlin and Russia are now gonna start watching us.” And that’s exactly what has happened.
Unfortunately in America we have trusted a group of people who are not trustworthy.
Too many people give too much credence to those in public positions including the media. He/she/it is on tv, therefore, they must be an authority.
He/She is a doctor with the CDC; therefore, they must be an expert.
No group of people, once given the powers of life and death over you, is ever trustworthy.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely . . . It has ever been so. All governments are simply organizations of rulers, “a gang of thieves writ large.” (Murray Rothbard)
All governments suffer a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible. Such people have a tendency to become drunk on violence, a condition to which they are quickly addicted.
— Frank Herbert, Chapterhouse: Dune
Excellent! Thanks!
As the Apostle James tells us in his letter, no one is tempted by what he does not desire. (James 1:13-15)
Could some of this be mitigated by Congress passing a law stating that DNI must brief both majority and minority leaders of house and senate who are then to brief the president? Wouldnt this remove the oversight loophole IC hides behind and create a chain of accountability?
Congressional oversight is what the IC hides behind, Congress is already part of the con.
Except for Nunes. So Ryan and Schiff kept him out of the loop with an ethics charge.
Comey briefed PDJT and assured him that he was not the subject of any investigation while Clapper briefed Harry Reid on the Steele dossier. We have been and still are dealing with senior officers of this government who have no ethics or morals and operate to protect and enrich themselves. It will take a strong House majority, super majority in the Senate and a President that are all committed to drive out the current criminal class that runs the Fourth Branch.
Congress is in on the con. Majorities, or even super-majorities, mean nothing. One cannot ask the fox to guard the henhouse.
That’s my point make it mandatory to brief both chamber leader not committee heads who then brief the president. Make it mandatory to tell party heads that material pertaining to “X” investigation is in silo. This way a chain of accountability is created with repercussions for omitting facts. Close some of these loopholes.
I think that is already the case. The whole point of the Gang of 8 for Intel in Congress. But the Intel Branch silos information and “Keeping an oblivious doofus like James Clapper in position held strategic value”.
The people attracted to such power quickly place themselves above the law.
Sundance…….
This jumped out at me:
“After four days of research and meetings in DC during 2020; amid a town that was serendipitously shut down due to COVID; I found a letter slid under the door of my nearly empty hotel room with an introduction of sorts.”
Sometimes the old ways are the best ways. Obviously, whoever contacted you thought this, hence the method of contact.
I’m sure that letter was a bit disturbing from the very beginning as your identity was known…….along with your location. At the same time, I’d think it was good to know there are people in the system fighting the system.
I’d think anything you do electronically would be surveilled. I would also think you are fully aware of this.
Sometimes the old ways are the best ways…..
Or Sundance had prior contact with someone and this is the way they agreed to communicate.

Communists have taken over our intelligence agencies and State Department (AKA “The Interagency”) and are destroying our country.
All Communists Are Bastards (ACAB).
We can’t let these bastards destroy our country.
I don’t think they’re actually Marxists ideologically. Truly, whether it was the Soviet Union, Cuba’s Castro, or China, the commie party are really just what we call the mob in NYC, gangs in LA. They are simply all thugs. The cover the Soviets and the Chinese use is to say “Communism” when they make you work and rip off the profits of your labor.
Authoritarian. Insider syndicate dealings. A malignancy of government. The hard problem.
We should be calling them out as Authoritarians and criticizing the inhumanity of their Authoritarianism.
Remember what the founders thought of tyranny and tyrants? We are a nation founded on anti-authoritarianism even more than we are nation founded on liberty.
Time to get the rhetorical war skills needed to prevail. Dragging up commie, DSA, socialism, Davos, et al are already jammed and ineffective where it matters most. These terms have become dog whistles to the people who most need to hear your warnings about the dangers. They shut you out because the authoritarians have conditioned them to do so.
To prevail we need unifying language. We have to start calling the most dangerous among us what they most are: authoritarians promulgating authoritarianism for personal advantage and special rights for themselves, and to make it easy on themselves at the expense of everybody else.
Authoritarianism is indefensible. They are anti-mutualist. They are for special rights and special privileges for themselves. The problem isn’t white supremacism, it’s bureaucratic imperialism staffed and supported by authoritarians devoted to authoritarianism.
Use the correct term and Left vs Right disappears.
Authoritarianism is indefensible.
Especially when authoritarianism is used to conceal incompetent, distempered or predatory government. Nothing better or more collectively describes what has gone most wrong in the modern era in which we find ourselves.
Authoritarianism is indefensible. It’s high time we call them out and put them on the defensive.
We beat them with that, we make allies of of nearly all Americans.
Solid points.
It is, quite literally, what the left is doing to us.
Give’em some of what they dish out. I’m pretty sure they cannot are it.
Tell the truth, I *KNOW* they can’t take that.
I suggest that they are Capitalists who want to squash all competition by forcing them into Socialism.
BINGO! They want an untouchable monopoly. And every corporatist wants to break the rungs on the very ladder upon which they ascended.
I don’t think we should label them capitalists. Capitalists are, of course, synonymous with capitalism which is ostensibly the opposite of socialism. I don’t think we should denigrate capitalism as an economic system.
I think the correct term should be “corporatists.” That is almost synonymous with “greed” which is easily explained, demonstrated and understood.
They are a law unto themselves; individual actors within the IC, behind their closed ranks, act purely in their individual self-interest, amassing what power and wealth they can while the getting’s good, hoping that they won’t be hanged by their own peers to maintain the goodness of their getting.
Generally speaking, those who worship power, wealth and extended time in this world always lose all three.
Thermodynamics will always out: Social systems, no matter how expertly-designed and tightly-controlled, spin apart from within. We get old; we fall ill; our mortality ensures that we will answer to a higher power. Our carefully-crafted identities reduce down to where our spirits are anchored.
These things are manifestations of a greater good at work. They demand humility and love; intellectual honesty; contrition, forgiveness and mercy; a loose hold on what we think we want; an eternal perspective even as we hold fast to what we know is right.
The question all of us will have to answer is “What/who did you live for?” God has the “receipts” and the heavenly “702s”.
I love “a loose hold on what we think we want”! Thank you.
Not ‘dysfunctional’ per se, but purposefully dysfunctional by design.
Kudos to Diane Sawyer for nailing Clapper in that interview. Watch his body language. He was so visibly shaken, especially when Sawyer “circled back” that he appeared as though, he was going to jump out of his skin, while simultaneously shifting, and bobbing up, down, and around in his chair.
Also, it is very interesting that Brennan had to jump in and try to save him. (It didn’t work) With clowns like Clapper and Brennan running around, It’s no wonder that the United States Government operates like an out of control oil rig fire.
Clapper is stupid, always has been. Brennan is evil.
Whenever someone (J Edgar) or some organization (FBI, CIA, etc.) has secretly obtained information on everyone, there can be no end to the mischief, coercion and blackmail possibilities.
“It will save money!”, they told us, to bring all of these disparate federal employees under one efficient umbrella.
“the President needed at that time a central organization that would bring all the various intelligence reports we were getting in those days, and there must have been a dozen of them, maybe more, bring them all into one organization so that the President would get one report on what was going on in various parts of the world. Now that made sense, and that’s why I went ahead and set up what they called the Central Intelligence Agency.”
“But it got out of hand. The fella … the one that was in the White House after me never paid any attention to it, and it got out of hand. Why, they’ve got an organization over there in Virginia now that is practically the equal of the Pentagon in many ways. And I think I’ve told you, one Pentagon is one too many.
Now, as nearly as I can make out, those fellows in the CIA don’t just report on wars and the like, they go out and make their own, and there’s nobody to keep track of what they’re up to. They spend billions of dollars on stirring up trouble so they’ll have something to report on. They’ve become … it’s become a government all of its own and all secret. They don’t have to account to anybody.
That’s a very dangerous thing in a democratic society, and it’s got to be put a stop to. The people have got a right to know what those birds are up to. And if I was back in the White House, people would know. You see, the way a free government works, there’s got to be a housecleaning every now and again, and I don’t care what branch of the government is involved. Somebody has to keep an eye on things.
And when you can’t do any housecleaning because everything that goes on is a damn secret, why, then we’re on our way to something the Founding Fathers didn’t have in mind. Secrecy and a free, democratic government don’t mix. And if what happened at the Bay of Pigs doesn’t prove that, I don’t know what does. You have got to keep an eye on the military at all times, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s the birds in the Pentagon or the birds in the CIA.”
Harry S. Truman (Creator of the CIA)
(statement by Harry S. Truman, delivered during a relatively unguarded moment with a trusted biographer.)
It shows a humility and willingness to admit grave error that is lacking in public life today. It also stands on its own as an inadvertent libertarian argument against state power itself.
Jeff Deist is president of the Mises Institute.
Truman: The fella … the one that was in the White House after me never paid any attention to it, and it got out of hand
So, of all people, Ike didn’t pay attention to it? Funny, since he warned of the military-industrial complex. He was keenly aware of the power and money grabs of the Pentagon. I’d have thought he above all others would have recognized the same thing in the CIA if at the time it was a bad as Truman said it was.
Ike, ever the political general, wouldn’t let Patton go into Eastern Europe and rid it of the Communists.
And the way Patton died was extremely suspicious.
Article by Jeff Deist at https://mises.org/wire/truman-was-right-about-cia. Thanks, A.Nimity, for the post.
Many people have discussed the Adminstrative State of Federal agencies as an unconstitutional ‘Fourth Branch of Government’. So it is rather confusing to now limit that term to the Intelligence agencies (or ‘IC’ as they’re sometimes called). You’re saying, I gather, that it’s the IC that is controlling the the Administrative State.
How about another term to differentiate the IC from the rest of the Fourth Branch? Maybe the ‘IC Elite’?

Okay, so the IC organizations control the three branches of government. Yet they have no real leader. The worms at the top crawl in and out of government. How does this work?
Organizational loyalty goes a long way, but not to the worms placed in leadership of those organizations. If they are just window dressing, then how do the loyal bigshots of 17 different organizations end up colluding together to dominate the entire government?
In situations like this, the power gets amassed somewhere. There likely is a real leader. Somebody is calling the shots.
The Senate has gatekeeper authority on who the worms are. Is the leader in the Senate? Can our Senators ever really lead anything? They always make bad presidents.
The worms have done Obama’s bidding these last twelve years. But he wasn’t there to create the ODNI. Voted on while he was trying to join the Senate. Started up while Bill Clinton was still calling him a pool boy.
Anyways when someone amasses this much power, it is rare for them to stay in the shadows. Is that in itself an exploitable weakness?
It is also going to be difficult to root out this truth and explain it to the people. It will be very easy to travel through this rabbit hole and come out sounding like a tin-foil hat wearing nutter. Especially when the media serves as propaganda arms of this very IC.
Simple via LEVERAGE.
Please remember this from the Hammer Whistleblower…………
I produced 600 million pages. If you printed out each page it would be thirty miles high stacked one on top of another. The information is very sensitive information. They collected google searches, credit cards, phone records, images, pictures, anything and everything, and they did it for one reason: LEVERAGE. They didn’t know when, but they knew sooner or later they would need that information to use for leverage against a person … The amount of information is mind-boggling, and I gave all of that to the FBI.
Control of people, control of DC and the 3 Branches of Government is all done IMO via LEVERAGE or dirt as I like to call it. Otherwise why would anyone need to spy on these people?
Whatever happened to the Hammer Whistleblower?
Anyone who would go that far to reveal those who are destroying the Republic would be a primary target for the people trying to destroy the Republic.
And then they realized that lies and innuendo are far more effective than collecting reams of information.
Because the media never verifies and the people are sheep. Innocents are smeared and tried in the press. And that’s so much easier than connecting dots and actually collecting any evidence (albeit illegally).
I just ask God: Are you watching? Your 9th commandment says we are not to bear false witness. The left, the media, and the left’s street army (Antifa and BLM) commit everything your word says you despise: haughty eyes, lying tongues, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
God, how long?
The sad fact is these noble whistleblowers turn to the very agencies that are corrupt. Why? No other place to go? Snowden was smart, didn’t do that. He compromised people and situations, but far less than the enormous volume of destruction these agencies have foisted on others.
Another sad fact; it’s likely too late to change any of this short of a massive purge from a dictator…and dictators want such power anyway.
“Anyways when someone amasses this much power, it is rare for them to stay in the shadows. Is that in itself an exploitable weakness?”
How do we know that? Agree on all the rest.
The media is part of the IC. One known example is Anderson Cooper. His resume includes the CIA.
Cooper’s resume includes many other enhancements. That man is not of this planet!!
I’m wondering if PT after speaking with Sundance on this subject might be willing to require ALL MAGA candidates from this point forward to attend a class taught by Sundance entitled……
THE FOURTH BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT THAT CONTROLS THE OTHER 3 BRANCHES AND HOW IT OPERATES WITHOUT OVERSIGHT.
Attendance of this 2-3 day course is mandatory in exchange for getting PT’s MAGA endorsement.
They have all of our elected officials wrapped around their finger. If one of them gets out of line they threaten them. If that doesnt work they move on to the familys. That always gets them under control. Chances are they find someonme in the family with some dirt no matter how small. They can blow it up to big charges. Even if the charges dont stick it will be complete ruination of the individual.
“Senator Schumer on Trump taunting US intelligence agencies. They have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,”
And that’s illegal, MR. SCHUMER, and as senator, you should have done something about unelected people “getting back at you.”
AMEN!?
The other incredible point is that Judge Collyer wrote a 99 page document recently pinpointing and exposing the NSA Contractor spying on Americans and virtually Congress, the DOJ, the FIB and Judges did nothing other than write this paper.
IMO many, many people are fully aware of the illegal spying being done on Americans and yet are either to afraid, or are being blackmailed or are complicit and compromised from speaking up.
It’s a great point. However, do not underestimate the inability of those we elect to understand what you describe. I doubt you could find more than 10 people in all of congress who even know about that 2017 Collyer opinion document.
I’m not kidding about that. The chief-of-staff to Ron Johnson didn’t even know about a critical letter that was written from the FISA court to the very oversight committee Johnson chairs.
And that’s nothing new. Back in the 90’s we (mining, cattle, other land use people) organized and sent some people to DC around the time Clinton and Babbitt were looking into nationalizing water rights. They were amazed at how much elected officials do not know about issues their committee is suppose to be handling. Many were convinced that the staff runs the show; elected representatives are just props.
They pick and choose what they know.
that just shows how unserious they are about being “representatives”….most people with a modicum of self-respect and accountability would make it a point to learn about topics of concern for their committee assignments…that these elected bafoons let someone else do their thinking for them shows they are in it purely for self-aggrandizement
Boggles the mind.
It also points out how easy it is for folks doing wrong to be confident they will never be caught doing wrong.
Sundance…are these members that stupid, or ignorant, or are they playing dumb?
Remember plausible deniability.

Couldn’t disagree more. Strength of crypto / blockchain is decentralization. Same idea here, easier for PTB to control or bring all down via one otherwise. Consensus verified messages have added strength greater than the parts.
Crypto/blockchain can, and has been, with enough time and processing power, be hacked and traced back to the source.
Hacker Rule #1 – there is NOTHING that cannot be hacked.
Hacker Rule #1A – There is ALWAYS someone better.
Exactly, but it takes time and effort ergo safer decentralized players versus one merged group. One merged group comes down with one effort, unwise strategy. Think fiat versus crypto, which is safer?
When Comey responds “Because of the seriousness of the matter” it is not a statement. The tone of voice put it in question form “Because of the seriousness of the matter?”
He either does not know why or is making the response up in the hope you buy the BS answer.
In normal responses if the subject is national security, Comey offers the answer in a non public setting. In this case he does not offer the truth even in a closed door session. Comey knows the answer but that answer would not be acceptable to anybody.
the work around is the head of intell commitees.

How did they work around Nunes after 2016 win? — had to make it legal. Hence Sundance pointing out the “Klinesmith Play”
Trisha isnt a innocent victim. she is a piece of shit that played the paper trail to cover a deceptive move (emails looking like she doesnt know or is reporting).
There were many troubling things about the Bugeyed, Waddler and Stuffed Sausage impeachment. One of them was that important decisions were being made by mid-level functionaries in some lowly interagency process. And these people were upset that the President dared interfere in their foreign policy decisions.
The President had no control. Appointed leaders had no control. Senior executives had no control. And when the appointed leaders and senior executives are hauled in front of Congress, since they have no control and no knowledge, Congress is also robbed of control.
These interagency groups of course include mid-level IC staff, as well as mid-level State Department and mid-level DOD staff. This could be an important mechanism for exerting IC control. Or DOD control. Or State control.
It would be difficult, but since there is visible string pulling in these groups, one might be able to use them to find out who the string pullers are. Might have to chase your way up quite a few different stove pipes.
From about 1992, when I was recruited by the IC to go back into Russia to help stop brain drain to Iran and N Korea, until 2014 when I gave back all my security clearances, I was a part of the private side of the fourth branch of government. We all knew what you say here Sundance. Not in the terms you describe, but in a sense of ‘doing anything to protect the American way of life’. Such big words justified whatever means we chose. What I see today is a naked political version of what I objected to in 2014 when I declared myself a contentious objector. What you describe Sundance some of us saw but most of us tolerated. For me the moment was when several of my son’s childhood friends returned from Iraq missing body parts. These were the children that I fed lunches, coached baseball, and welcomed into my home. It was the final straw and a graphic show of the price that the ‘system’ was willing to pay for the wealth to continue flowing and the power to remain assured.
Some of my colleagues understood as I lost my club membership by choice and walked away from a world that I knew, and thrived in, for some 20 years.. Others looked on as of they felt sorry for me. Others were more aggressive. I started getting unannounced visits from the local FBI ‘just wanting to talk’. They were sending a clear message. I started life all over again about that time and dedicated myself to doing what I used to do but completely outside of government without a damned dime of their corrupt money. I recognized back then that the GOP was as much of the corruption as any other part of the political system so I left that as well and became a Libertarian – and a vocal one. Since that watershed time, I have done better than I would have ever imagined. Nonetheless I know that the IC is out there watching and if I step out of line too far, there will be consequences.
God bless you Sundance. Your mission is a holy one and you are doing God’s work. Few understand how very difficult it is to stand against the wind and to risk it all. Once you understand the reality of what you are dealing with, and the righteousness of opposing it, you have no choice but to do so. I am your silent brother in arms fighting the fight by example. Many people know me and know my story and I don’t shy away from public criticism of the NSA in particular. I remain a Patriot in the deepest sense of the word but I do fear that my actions could somehow get twisted and used against me so I only go so far in public. You my friend are out there 100% and I honor you and your work.
Very informative comment and confirms that the GOP is a willing and complicit swamp entity. Wonderful to hear that you you are living life well.
Thank you, MaserMan, for your integrity and commitment to America.
WHO controls /authorizes the money that pays for the agencies to exist?
WHO decides/ authorizes how much money those employed in the agencies are paid?
I wonder if the lack of an annual budget is deliberately, to fund invisible black budgets. At some point, in the budget process, when those IC agencies grow and grow, it would become obvious.
“our elected representative House members genuinely do not know how the system works. . . . They are clueless.” I should be shocked, but I’m not.??
AOC doesn’t even know what the three branches of the federal government are!
She answered that one….
The Nina
The Pinta
and
The Santa Maria !
Its like “Enemy of the State.”
This was the impression I was getting last yr from Millie and Tore Says videos, tho the IC branch includes former IC folks. They all seem to start their own or work for “consulting” companies
Makes sense since they control the surveillance data
Thank you, Sundance, and I look forward to reading your detailed analysis. I was hoping you would get back to this someday and give more detail of your DC experiences, and today is the perfect day to start.
WE need to pray for our country, and stand up for whats righteous in the eyes of the Lord. As my Pastor said in service today: our country is in a huge mess, and when we lean on Jesus we can help make a difference by standing up against the evil that has permeated our land. The local level is a good place to take a stand.
4 or 5? Does not the administrative state also act on it’s own to our detriment?
“None of the people were elected.”
No. But they have been empowered by executive orders like
PRESIDENT REAGAN signing E.O.12.333.
Then bush 41 amended once then bush 43 amended and went the next step turning an executive order into LAW by the passage of the patriot act.
Ensuring no future PRESIDENT could revoke the executive order they all screwed us with!!!
The reason they all look so damn smug, is the FACT no laws were broken!
Notice no one is ever asked WHAT gives them the AUTHORITY to spy on Americans.
If they were forced to answer that truthfully, the answer would SHOCK THE HELL outta the American public!
Who lost all their rights years ago when nobody was looking.
https://www.archives.gov/federal-register/codification/executive-order/12333.html
The E.O 12333 granted our spy agency’s the authority to spy on Americans IF they were designated either an agent of a foreign country,
Or working with a foreign agent wittingly or not.
The E.O was a response to court challenges involving lawsuits from previous overstepping by the I.C.
The patriot act added a few more phrases like terrorists and supporting terrorists.
My concern is who gets to define those words?
What we define a terrorist as of today can easily be changed to have a completely different definition tomorrow.
Allowing the definition of the WORDS to change means they can use the permission granted to spy on specific categories, and add anything just by including those magic words that they create the definitions of.
When ever i see the government redefining words i think. what’s in it for them?
https://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/illegal-aliens-decision.pdf
Just accusing someone of a FARA violation is permission enough to spy on them Without their knowledge or a warrant.
I look forward to the crowd sourced INTEL, references and narrative that is going to come with SD’s series. Can’t wait to begin.
O my Sundance -awesome observance & conclusions! The 4th Branch of our government Intelligence ! I never saw it but you are right & we the people of USA should be very very scared going forward.
Thank you Sundance for continuously educating us. I just donated a few bucks as I have in the past and hope that others will as well. I look forward to the next chapter.
Thanks again
Was kind of a fan of Daniel Silva’s spy fiction, but the more I read, the more questions I had. It seemed patriotic, but it also seemed that there was a lot of leftist politics being slyly slipped in. Say him talk and found out his wife was Jamie Gangel of CNN, and then found out Bill “Grifter” Clinton was a big fan. Watching Fourth of July now and it’s a huge lefty propaganda-fest. As my philosophical guru and life coach says, “There are trillions at stake.”
I agree with your opinion on Daniel Silva. I always look forward to the next Gabriel Allon adventure, and pre-order Silva’s books in advance.
Fascinating, until the last two. I was beginning to feel an ideological drift in his stories, and was totally disgusted with the last book.
Only gave him 2 stars on Amazon. He seemed in a rush to get a biased book on the shelves in 2020.
I am not purchasing another Silva book. His ideology has now tarnished his ability to weave a spellbinding mystery.
Sad.
Defund the 4th Branch of Government!
And their horrid and intolerable propaganda!
” I know this because I have talked to House and Senate staffers, including the chiefs of staff for multiple House committee seats. They are clueless.”
My question is : Does Donald Trump know this?
This article begs the obvious analysis.
In sports, teams willingly consent to referees or umpires to be impartial, non-biased judges of what is considered fair or within the rules. But if the referees / umpires begin to exhibit behavior that demonstrably favors one side over the other, then doesn’t that negate the competition?
We have had a Constitution since June 21, 1788. And since that time, the state, counties, cities and citizens have operated under the understanding that we had a binding contract which leveled the field; allowed any entity with a grievance to have their voice heard and–if necessary–upheld as law or judicial ruling based on evidence.
Yes, the War Between the States severely tested our faith in the system, but eventually, we regained our trust and moved on.
But today, our faith and trust is broken–perhaps irrevocably. We no longer have good faith referees and umpires adhering to rules we all agreed on. Instead, what we have are cynical opportunists, megalomaniacs and assorted grifters usurping our system for their own benefit.
What we have is tyranny. What we lost is independence. What we have to lose if we resist is……
Has anyone seen any posting by Tracy Beanz recently? Seems like she has been silenced, just like Brandon Straka.
When one looks under the covers, one sees Tracy Beanz is a grifter.
Brandon Straka is the real deal, but his twitter page has been protected and one must request to be allowed in. One suspects Brandon is laying low for the time being.
It seems logical many have pulled up stakes and moved to greener pastures.
“The FBI is a factual input”
The FBI is also a corrupt output.
Thank you Sundance! I am learning so much from you and the people on this site! I thought I was a well informed person until I landed here. I’m very scared for our country. We are being lied to every day by politicians and more importantly the media. It’s all smoke and mirrors, and once you see the truth you can’t unsee it. The worst part is half of the country doesn’t even want to see the truth! But I see a little light in the tunnel. Family members that voted for Biden are starting to wake up! We don’t talk politics here, but I’m sending your articles to them and they are thanking me! Saying prayers for you and all treepers!
Sundance should work a deal with Sidney Powell to use his research to write a book. She was a regular poster at the treehouse. She has the notoriety to get it published. I think that Sundance would be more comfortable staying in the shadows. There must be others that know a lot of what Sundance has put together but are afraid to say it publicly.
