This is just about representative of every wolverine mom in the nation. The ridiculous COVID mandates have thrown common sense out the window. During a Georgia school board meeting, this mom passionately speaks for many. She is withdrawing her consent:
https://youtu.be/i3ftg5vyKFU
.
..”If the public are bound to yield obedience to laws to which they cannot give their approbation, they are slaves to those who make such laws and enforce them.”.. ~Sam Adams
The power of government comes from the people; or as we say in the U.S. “from the consent of the governed.” When people lead, the politicians are forced to follow. Without implied consent the municipal or state government has no power. None.
Unfortunately the totalitarian authority might label this mom a subversive dissident voice; consider her defiance a reason for targeting and re-education; and then engage child protective services in the removal of her children. It would not surprise me to see DHS show up at her door with an armed FBI SWAT team to deliver a no-knock warrant for her arrest. She is right. She is petitioning her government and eloquently expressing her grievances; but so far the bureaucracy doesn’t care…. This is why all people need to stand up and support the individuals pushing back.
The power of the local, regional or state authority comes from the expressed consent of the people. As soon as the majority of people deny that consent, those officials and state authoritarians lose all of their power. Yes, it really is that simple.
Those who construct the systems of control need to weaponize fear. Fear of arrest; fear of losing a business; fear of losing liberty or financial security. Local, regional and state officials rely on fear. As soon as We The People are no longer fearful, the control ends.
The overwhelming majority of dictates around COVID-19 mitigation are not laws. There was no debate; no input from representative government; and no option for the public to weigh-in on the decisions.
All unilateral rules are arbitrary, and despite many proclamations to the contrary, they rely upon voluntary compliance. As soon as citizens no longer voluntarily comply, the term of the rules has expired. Liberty is inherent. The removal of liberty requires consent.
If one person refuses to comply government can, and likely will, intervene. However, if tens of thousands rebuke these unconstitutional decrees, there isn’t a damn thing govt can do to stop it… and they know it. This is why some state governors are quickly starting to retract or modify their dictates.
A non-compliant snowball becomes an unstoppable freedom avalanche.
Local, regional and state officials know they can control the behavior of an individual. If one barber shop opens, the owner becomes a target. However, those officials also know they cannot control the behavior of the majority. If every barber shop and beauty salon in town opens… there is absolutely nothing the government can do about it.
The power of the local, regional or state authority comes from the expressed consent of the people. As soon as the majority of people deny that consent, those officials and state authoritarians lose all of their power.

Stanford released study this week, ineffective and harmful to your health. No more masks.
I been saying this from day-1. Masks to covid is like a tennis ball in a swimming pool. I have had a lot of experience with real masks.
This Covid Mask BS is just what it is in terms of Covid. In terms of Communist control of the people masks are everything. Masked people are Sheep standing at the foot of Communist owned slaughterhouse chutes.
I had my physics students “scale up” virus vs. mask holes as an in-class assignment. In short, it’s not a tennis ball to a swimming pool. It’s a golf ball to half a football field. “Do you think you could throw a golf ball through a hole the size of a football field from the 50 yard line to the end-zone?”
Good analogy, though. I like to tease mask-wearers if they put up a chain link fence to keep out the mosquitos. If they wear two masks, I asked if they would put up a second fence.
When eating dinner with in-laws, my Libtard brother-in-law was preaching about CDC guidance to wear 2 masks “because it’s better”. My wife, a physician, didn’t miss a beat, answering, “Then why not wear three?” And he crawled back under his rock…
wearing a trashbag with draw strings is best for liberals.
I’m choking from laughing !
My doctor said it was like throwing sand through a chain link fence.
Good Doctor. Too bad more aren’t like your doctor.
A new Stanford study confirms again masks are ineffective.
A nurse I know described a mask as “Using a chain link fence to keep mosquitos out”.
Wish it was true, but Stanford has disavowed that study. What do you expect from a left wing School?
I don’t often do this, but do you have a source? I ask because the study was supposedly peer-reviewed. That is, it would be harder for Stanford to say, “Whoops.”
And it backed up what the Danish research team published last year.
Data suppression for political gain. Just like the man-made climate change people have been doing for decades.
oh, don’t doubt it for a minute . . . it’s man made all right . . . commies have been cooling the past and warming the present, just ask ole hockey stick Michael Mann . . . in my opinion of course . . .
.
See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7680614/
Not a “Stanford Research Study”
The study is by one author (Baruch Vainshelboim) who lists associations with the VA in Palo Alto, CA and Stanford. But Stanford says “Stanford University has never employed Baruch Vainshelboim. Several years ago (2015), he was a visiting scholar at Stanford for a year, on matters unrelated to this paper.”
gateway pundit listed it as stanford study
TGP is unreliable.
True about Stanford
But what people still don’t seem to understand is that ALL the public schools are contaminated by this
Because of the teacher’s unions
Teachers are getting busted in antiffa riots
When will people wake up?
Get kids out of public schools
So many other options
Online academies that teach a classical education
Co ops
Tutors
Church schools
Church schools are not any better
Oh . . . they could be . . . my guess is they are much more attuned to listening . . .
I am offended by your blanket dismissal of church schools. All 7 of my grandchildren are students in Christian schools, and all are receiving excellent education from dedicated teachers, and with support of dedicated administration.
I thank God for these Christian schools, and for the many others that I know about, and for the two I attended myself.
Don’t forget home schooling.
One just has to wonder at the “intelligence” of our “intelligentsia”. We may expect such bright and mighty minds who walk the hallowed walkways of our esteemed institutions would consider that since no studies have definitively proved masks have ANY significant bearing on infections, maybe like a 30% reduction, a 60% reduction, hell, even a 10% reduction – but zip, no data, no nothing to show ANY difference. Surely then when being deluged in studies that show not only no difference, but real possible adverse effects, our (now suspect) intelligentsia in the spirit of their professionalism, out of the dedication to academia and learning, would be clamoring on the doors of credibility to stop the unscientific fraud.
I know they can’t for fear of isolation, but fella’s, fella’s, how do you sleep at night??????
Eh, that’s like how Big Tech bans you if you bring up the CDC’s own studies that the masks don’t matter. It’s not that the study is bogus…they just ban tests that don’t confirm their biases.
When? This just came out.
The Stanford study was published on November 22, 2020.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7680614/
It was. I used it this week to write a letter about masks. It came out a while ago. I’m not sure why the hype was this week.
Doesn’t matter masks have never worked. They just work now because those in authority say so.
Most likely because the bots that “write” our news recycled it based on recent web traffic. If a bunch of people start sharing the link, the bots pick up on it, a bot writes a story as if it is new information, and that drives clicks and advertising.
If everyone is excited and talking about a “Stanford study”, the Big Data machines are programmed to pick up on that because interest draws clicks and clicks draw ads.
News has been going on like this for about 5-10 years.
If enough of us posted links to Judge Sullivan’s anti-pardon screed from last winter, bot-driven “news” sites like TGP would start linking to it with a headline like “Bresking! Judge in Flynn case goes berserk!”
link?
https://fos-sa.org/2020/11/02/an-evidence-based-scientific-analysis-of-why-masks-are-ineffective-unnecessary-and-harmful/
the commies can disavow ’till the cows come home . . . the point is made!
.
It’s a lit review. Sounds like it was written by someone for whom English is a second language. But it’s published here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7680614/
I heard the most wonderful sound while working in my backyard today … the sound of children playing on the playground near my home. No, it was not coming from the public school within earshot of my house. Nope. It was coming from St. Perpetua Catholic school on the hill above me. Children … laughing and playing outside. Making a joyful ruckus … as they should!
Thank GOD some people know what it means to live FREE. To live as was intended for mankind.
What a lovely post, Kenji ❣
So true. My husband was in environmental safety area for years ( oil company ) he wrote programs ( the best ) these masks are indeed worthless. He has tried to educate people when he could but it’s been hard and the ignorance is astounding
by the way CDC actually stands for. ( central demonic/demoncrat control ) take your pick they are one and the same
and that’s what this whole thing has been about from the git go CONTROL. Grammy
Actually we were fooled by the initial reports of this study as I have learned, IF the assertions made in this Forbes article are true. I initially believed the reports. Now I’m not sure we weren’t too ready to believe a report that supports our preferred narrative.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucelee/2021/04/22/did-so-called-stanford-nih-study-really-show-face-masks-are-ineffective-against-covid-19/?sh=7f186e9c3fd7
Maybe we should check up on the validity of the claims made by the Forbes author before further using the “Stanford Study” in any discussion of mask ineffectiveness.
Bravo
I won’t wear a mask for anyone. We all need to just say NO
Me either. It may cost me my life, as I won’t go to the doctor or hospital. Sacrifices I guess.
For some reason it will be most difficult to get doctors and hospitals on board, when logically it should be the easiest because they supposedly have the knowledge. I guess knowledge comes in way below profit. Medicine is just a business like everything else. The days of dedicated doctors are long gone.
The tyrannical state governments have been threatening the medical professionals’ licenses to practice medicine in their states.
Thats primarily how the doctors, PAs, nurses, and pharmacists are being cowed into cooperating with the unconstitutional mandates.
But as Sundance mentioned if the medical professionals’ (and other groups) were to all stick together then the state governments has no power.
This is the only method to curb the power of these people and following on from that is to start removing them from office. Their true colours have been shown. Let them cower
UNITED WE STAND. DIVIDED WE FALL.
Mariner, the way you mention certain groups (using a certain professional group as example) compels me to think you have perhaps missed the larger – and ONLY – point. It is The People, as an institution, which is the object here.
All subgroups are part of The People. The institution of The People is superior to all other institutions. The appeal, therefore, is not to any group or lesser institution; the appeal is made to The People.
Yes, certain groups, for a variety of reasons, may seem likely to lead in adopting the cause. But I yield affinity to no group in this matter. All have become suspect, and by their own hand! I stand confidently under God, as an American, knowing, not unknowing. We are The People. We ask not permission.
That would take courage, something in short supply on our side.
I have had major medical problems for the last 38 years. Some of the smartest people I have ever met are Physicians.
On the other hand, there is a subset of Physicians that are dumber than a box of hammers. I wouldn’t trust this group to install a lampshade on a lamp. The politically
activeignorant Docs seem to coincide with this last group as well.Reminds me of an old joke. . .
“What do you call the person that graduated in last place at medical school?”
“Doctor”
Know the difference between a Doctor and a Pipelayer?
The Pipelayer has to dig his mistakes up, and fix them.
.
It’s not that they’re not smart. It’s that most don’t bother to spend their spare time reading up on research that’s not directly in their field of practice.
Physicians are time- and money-sensitive. They are more likely to read Medical Economics to see how they can arrange their appointments to spend the least amount of time per patient without the patients realizing it, than to peruse research outside of their specialty.
They also are liability-sensitive. That means that too often their first and highest concern is using protocols that are generally accepted and cover them against malpractice. If one patient died who was told by them not to get the vaccine, that would be terribly costly. If ten patients die but the doc meticulously followed authoritative protocols, he’s safe and well… people die.
Ok fine. I agree.
But why then, lecture the rest of us on things they know nothing about?
.
They are taught to be authoritative in medical school. And partly they develop an ego because people defer to them in multifarious ways. E.g. patient call him Dr. Soandso. He calls patient Bill. Would be obviously rude in any other circumstance.
Ditto!
True that. Also explains why many GPs either know nothing about homeopathic remedies and preventives – or mock them when they do learn about them. There’s no pharmaceutical company vigorish for suggesting quercetin to your patients. There are some legit homeopathic / natural remedies that have track records that are centuries long … but the products are all OTC and, as it were, in the public domain.
It’s the study of medicine –mostly.
~Not root cause and cures
Good point. My neurologists, one local and one from Mayo, both promote masking and the jab, and I just sense they are not really up on the big picture. Like many of their patients, I feel they are just accepting the officially sanctioned “expert” line.
Mayo Clinic receives $1B in grants, loans (beckershospitalreview.com)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic has received federal grants and loans to help offset expected financial damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to bondholder documents filed April 24. Mayo Clinic was in a strong financial position before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.”
I was married to one – from the first set you referred to. When this whole thing blew up, he smiled and said, “masks won’t do anything. It’s a virus” His sub-specialty was infectious diseases. Shortly after, he passed.. not from COVID.
Awwww…. Smart! God bless him.
Follow the money … starting with the “bonuses” paid to NY nursing homes to accept Covid patients back when this clown car began rolling.
I had to endure yet another email message today from our Hospital President on how thankful we should be that the jury made the “right” choice on the Floyd trial. Our medical establishment is totally bought by the liberal left, how and why I do not know, but I’ve seen enough evidence through COVID, BLM messages to us, gender rights, blah blah blah, telling us peon employees how we’re supposed to think and vote. It’s beyond belief.
Doctors at the Mayo Clinic pretty much saved my life twelve years ago and the institution is amazingly wonderful. Sadly, the clinic has gone all in promoting masking.
The cynic in me wonders if their support is due to dependence on government for support, particularly that of insane Minnesota.
I hate to say it, but that reason is better than the alternative, which is that this great medical institution actually believes the mask idiocy.
Needless to say, my already lowered respect for the medical community has fallen even further these last months.
I live in Georgia. My ophthalmologist is located in South Carolina.
When I went for my surgery yesterday; I didn’t wear a mask.
No problem.
In fact, many of the staff pulled down or didn’t wear a mask until it was time to take me into O.R.
They were also discussing, NOT taking the vaccine…so far, they are not being forced to take it.
Start homeschooling or send to private school that will allow no masks
No, don’t agree. Her points are valid and backed up scientifically, and by private school protocols. The public school system needs to re-evaluate and defend their position after 15 months of kids not getting sick, not dying, nor being spreaders.
Citizens pay taxes for public school. Not everyone is in a financial position to homeschool or pony up thousands extra for private school.
.
I homeschooled the kids at enormous cost to my previously very fancy career. I would have (still would) taken a bullet for my children. There is always a way to put a higher priority where it belongs.
AMEN, and future generations will say “thank you” for putting the horse before the cart.
I have no retirement coming except for Social Security. Our family was not in a financial position to homeschool. We did it anyway, and would do it again. We are learning to like the taste of Friskies.
If they do not wish to teach unmasked children, they should find work elsewhere. Guess who their employer is after all. It’s not the Union although they’d like to believe that.
Sadly, private schools submitted to this hysteria. This is why I started home schooling this year. Won’t ever go back. It’s not as hard as some make it out to be. Quite manageable.
She is a hero
I wish “hero”… only speech and writing will not get you to no masks:
hero is the guy who arrests cops trying to enforce illegal mask mandates
heroes arrest criminals trying to make removal of your rights and freedom “look like its lawful to do so” or “color of law.
heroes arrest the treasonous criminals that knowingly confirmed a fraudulent vote (Jan 6)!!
heroes arrest those attempting to violate your rights under color of law 18 USC 242 while on the floor of house ad senate passing “infringements” to 2A
The speeches are everywhere: the heroes are yet to show for “work”.
.
Thank you. “Hero” is overused.
If her child were being abused by someone every day for a year, would she be tearfully begging him to please stop, arguing how it’s not good for the child?
Amen to the overused Heroes!
Our Post Office has a big banner on telling us that Heroes Work Here.
Lets not confuse the guy who puts stuff in your mailbox with grandfather who stormed the beaches on D-Day.
BINGO
NOW YER GITTIN IT.
Now…there is a little sand into the machinery from a brave mom who speaks from the heart!
Well done. We all need to start throwing more sand in.
DD
What is brave about this?
The public schools are dumbing kids down and indoctrinating them
Keeping a kid in a public school is throwing them to the wolves
There are so many alternatives now
Sarah, with all due respect, you don’t see the bravery in this? No everyone has the means to place their kids in private/catholic schools. The fight this young women undertook is outstanding, since she, as a parent is fighting the entire rigged system. A true David and Goliath story. Kudos to this fine young woman!!!!
Actually I think Sarah is correct.
I don’t think the Mom understands exactly what she is fighting for. She appears to be one of the millions of parents who do not comprehend the severity, totality, and ultimate consequences of Leftwing indoctrination that the public schools are forcing into their children’s malleable brains.
She is fighting for an ideal that disappeared a few decades ago. No doubt that her life is disrupted by what happened, but instead of using it to remove the propagandizing of her children, she wants it to start back up and continue.
She is fighting for the physical and emotional health of hers and our children.
While the sick school indoctrination is problematic, it is not what she is speaking to and not what this post is about.
Our schools have been brainwashing our children for decades while we’ve been disconnected from oversight and parenting.
She is tackling the current health risks to our children. She is brave and shame on every parent who does not join her ranks. Godspeed to this warrior.
“She is fighting for the physical and emotional health of hers and our children.”
Yes we all know that’s what she believes she is fighting for.
“While the sick school indoctrination is problematic, it is not what she is speaking to and not what this post is about. “
I completely understand that perspective. However it is obvious that we very likely disagree significantly as to just HOW problematic the indoctrination is in relation to the problems caused by the children being away from live classroom learning in the majority of current American public schools.
Hopefully she and most other American parents will press to get the schools open but not stop there. Hopefully they will them embark on a relentless campaign to rid the curriculums of altered American history, dishonest discussions of critical race theory and all social justice narratives, and return to teaching truth, proper English, real Math, honest and factual civics, and proven science.
But unfortunately I expect the majority to just return to their pre-covid habits after the schools take their children back for 5 or 6 hours every weekday and continue the hard Leftwing brainwashing.
I don’t disagree with you at all. I have grandchildren who still have not returned to school and I am not entirely disheartened by it, however like you, I doubt the indoctrination will stop, only increased. It is in the hands of the parents, and in my experience, they are blind.
.
Everyone has the means to homeschool their child unless they are themselves illiterate. It only takes a couple of hours a day. Five days of school filled mostly with busywork and administrivia easily can be done over a weekend. Excuses abound.
I agree that the public schools are a waste, but life sure isn’t like it was even just a few years ago.
Around here homes are running a million. Food and gas prices are through the roof. Inflation is killing us. Taxes are sky high. Both parents need to work now to make a go at it.
It is intentional attack on the family. Break them so they are slaves to their jobs. I feel so weary from the drain of it all.
My prayer is that I can instill my very best moral plumb line for my kids at home…pray for them…and ask God to give them discernment and character.
DD
Agree, and ask God to give them wisdom.
The attack on the family and family life is part of the communist plan. Also, satan’s plan.
One grain of sand at a time.
This mom may be empowering others. You did hear the anemic applause. But applause it was!
Ironic, a chinese proverb: Every journey starts with the first step.
The attack is real. You are so right. So very right. Just keeping marriages together seems to be getting tougher. The assault on the family is horrific.
Private and Catholic schools are pushing the social justice/ race garbage also.
I don’t even call what I am doing with my 12 year old homeschooling. I call it deprogramming. Virginia shut down the schools from March 2020 to January 2021 so that was it.
Everybody rearranged schedules in the family and we sent in notice of intent to homeschool. Haven’t looked back. Now the only issue is how to get him to understand the founding fathers were not racist white supremacists and in 12 years global warming will not burn up our planet. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, some of the things he comes up with are right out of The Communist Manifesto.
God help us. This woman needs to get her little masked 6 year old as far away from that craziness as possible. It won’t be easy but the alternative is worse.
Agree. She has no idea what she should be fighting for. Her child is learning that mom can speak out all she wants, but has to capitulate in the end.
I’m sorry….but if you are deprogramming a 12 year old…then you probably have have not done your job at home in the first place.
My son asked the teacher when learning about the charter of rights and freedoms why those rights have been taken away during covid, and he is in 5th grade.
When he came home and told me the story I commended him for taking a stand.
DD
Agree, but in a Republic consent is peacefully given via the will of the Governed via the voting process. Once that is compromised peaceful options diminish. Further school boards could still be legitimate but the more powerful offices above them that are illegitimate via fraud can place a lot of force over them via the funding.
Voting process? That got covered highly in the last election. I still see the same scum bags in office!
The schools boards are all contaminated by the unions
There is no choice anymore but get kids out of public schools
The system is poisoned beyond salvation
They are Communist breeding facilities.
Agree 100%
Schoolboards are elected by the general public of the districts they serve. Don’t like it run for office.
The solution is the same as not electing a crappy Mayor.
And don’t give me that crap that every school board election is corrupt.
before you stop paying, buy a rifle and form the militia — its headed there when you cut off the $.
Governments do not NOT consider tax strikes as “peaceful protest”: they respond with force.
Also, try going to a “public meeting” with your rights (no mask and bearing arms) and see how they treat you and your rights!
My wife lost her father from COVID a year ago – he was the first to die in our large county. Our board tried to shut down classes, when my wife stood up and gave a similar lashing to the masked magistrate. I applaud the courage of all wolverine moms coming out of their dens fighting.
Nice! Great stuff, Timbo… Excellent speech! As my late Dad used to say: ‘looks like you married UP, kid’… ?
Ha!
Your dad used to say, and Reagan used to say.
the board looks like roman kings.. sitting above the peasants, with a timer going, and a smug face of hurry up …
why cant the procedure be the board has to respond to each comment? short few seconds. instead of acting liek they never heard it
Keeping kids in public schools is destroying their minds
Masks are the least of their problems
With all due respect, you may not understand the physiological effects of restricted breathing, the psychological effects of human disconnect or long term effects of fibers sucked into young lungs.
This is not an either/or argument.
Admiration yes. Words are important. But when they cease functioning then you MUST have the “force” show up and then you get respect.
Time for leaders and heroes without “martyrs”. That will take militia when the criminal conduct is by elected and appointed officials protected by private “armed gangs” you paid for!!
She gave a great speech, good for her and your family!!
I bet the Post Office has a full dossier on her by now, including her child.
In Australia no child under 12 was ever required to wear a mask because health officials advised it is dangerous to do so.
You might want to throw that in their face.
If I recall correctly, I remember seeing the Chinese people in their homeland wearing masks LONG before Covid-19 arrived. I recall it was due to pollution. But I also saw many wearing masks in the USofA also. Wonder if there is a common thread somewhere between the pollution masks then, and the Covid masks now? Anyone have a thought?
Barnabus_Duke: The common thread is the culture of compliance and uniformity. No independent thinking. Just do whatever everyone else does, or is told to do.
Many Chinese have been regularly wearing masks since about 2002 (remember SARS, aka Bird Flu?).
In my area near Yellowstone we get thousands of Chinese tourists and there are always a few that seem to have those masks surgically attached to their faces.
I was in China in 2012. I remember walking from a checkpoint in Hong kong to the mainland. There was river there, which i don’t remember the name, but it was absolutely disgusting. It was almost black, and was filled with trash floating in it.
Mainland China has a pollution haze to it, and it was common to see ppl wearing masks, you could see and smell the pollution there in the air. It was the week of the benghazi attacks. the hotel i was at, had an overseas cnn channel there pushing that youtube video crap hard. As far as the masks, they’re the same, the blue cloth ones.
They’ve been bullying us for over a year. Nobody does anything.
Meanwhile, I refuse to wear a mask. The only time I do is when I airline because it’s the only way to get to work. I then remove everything inside the mask, leaving only the blue outer layer. You can see me smiling through it. F ’em.
Would you wear a mask if it was the only way to get groceries?
My daughter refused to comply early on and ordered her groceries on-line for delivery or she picked them up.
I wouldn’t have that option BUT I refused to wear a mask in a grocery store and limited my visits to those stores that did not act like dictators.
Besides, our governor never mandated masks; he left it up to localities.
So in your case, it was not the only way to get groceries.
I have found out over 72 years of living, there are always options and ways to obtain whatever is needed.
Ingenuity, will power, patience; that about covers it.
Man closes the door; God opens a window.
I’ve been screamed at by employees shouting I cannot shop there if I refuse to wear a mask. I ignore them, fill my cart and when I hit the check out, I pull my shirt up over my lower face. It makes a big damn point. The whole nine yards is utterly retarded thinking. And everyone then knows it.
Mothers: Let our children go!
School Board: No. They must stay and suffer.
This is like Moses and Pharaoh.
If tge mothers really cared
Then the kids would not be in public schools
Masks are nothing compared to the dumbing down and indoctrination
If the mothers really cared? Are you daft? This mom obviously cares. Not everyone wants to turn tail and run from public education. Just stop it already.
Everyone may not want to, but everyone should.
If everyone DID, there would be no need for any of them.
That’s the point.
You have made your point several times, we get it. Believe what you will, but some mothers have no other option.
Time after time in discussions about children’s welfare stones are thrown at mothers without any mention of fathers.
Thank you!
This amazing mom, puts the infectious disease and so called expert, dr gnome, to shame.
The image of Mickey always brightens my day.
Me too 1530!
I love it when Mickey shows up with his international gesture of disdain and the huge grin on his face.
I am proud to say that my wife and I have worn masks ONLY when she had a doctor’s appointment. That’s a grand total of 4 times over the past year. And even then, we didn’t wear them as we entered the office… they had to tell us to, and give us masks to use (we never carry one with us). So yeah, we don’t play the game. But that doesn’t mean we’ve locked ourselves in our house either. We’ve still gone to stores and restaurants. To be sure, there have been a few times they’ve told us we had to leave, but that’s rare. For the most part they don’t bother us. I’m even including places like Walmart. And whenever we see another fellow “rebel” walking around, we make sure to give them a thumbs-up.
(I forgot, there was one other time I wore a mask. The middle of December we were mailing boxes of Christmas presents to our kids living out of state. It was either do it that one time or not be able to mail the boxes. I hate to admit it, but I gave in on that one. 🙁 )
FYI: We even avoided the post office mask Nazi’s—we printed off mailing labels via USPS online and scheduled for them to pick up the packages outside our front door.
Since I have a P.O Box, I go to my pot office everyday without a mask. No one has ever said a word.
A Walmart greeter recently said she doesn’t prohibit maskless people from entering the store. I walk into church with a mast sorta on my face and sit in the last row and remove my mask. I walk up to communion with a half-hearted attempt to wear the mask and if I had to keep it on all during Mass I would NOT enter at all. I am saddened that I see people wearing 2 masks at a time or a young couple who won’t even come into church at all. They sit in their car and wear a mask to receive outside communion. Makes no sense. Just wear Saran wrap around your head for heaven’s sake!
This is ultimately about militia and enforcing “the law”. At the same time — show me another method for making “I withdraw my consent” (than the militia) real, active, noticeable, and I’ll take it.
So here we are — they are enforcing tyranny with guns and we have moms begging tyrants in a two minute comment period.
When its over, truly over, some “people” going to be in prison
18 USC 242 denial of rights under color of law.
Cops
Politicians
health boards
Well they handed their kids over to the tyrants that taught in the public schools
This is how this country us in the mess its in
People keep doing the same dumb things
Not sure what your reply was but I probably agree with it.
Serious question Sarah. Are you even in the US?
the power they have ,,, is that our withdrawal of consent leaves some of us in a tough position to survive. We somehow got sucked into this way of life where our livelihood was connected to this system.
new job – i guess. new food – i guess. its that or we lose america.
Take off the masks but they STILL are indoctrinating kids
Get the kids out of public schools
They are poison!
Why do mothers have to get their kids out of Public Schools? It is the “Poison” which needs to get out of Public Schools.
And that is not happening!
.
Because children only have one chance at a childhood and time is precious. The poison cannot be extricated with the snap of the fingers.
Everybody on the same page here(?); like, we all recognize that OUR TAX DOLLARS is funding the public school system, even if the child is home-schooled or sent to a private school; which is an additional expense and responsibility to the parents.
So, the parents have every right to yell, scream, demand to be heard and see action from their elected school board members and teachers whose salaries are also paid with TAX DOLLARS.
In the words of Moses “let our children go.” I am so sickened every time I see a child in the ridiculous muzzles. Its child abuse.
I 100% agree.
We are allowing child abuse.
What a wonderful woman. What a critical message. Yet there’s a larger truth: There is NO EVIDENCE that either masks or social distancing do anything at all to stop the spread of Covid-19. None. What you see in the literature is a bunch of so-called experts that share their OPINION that people need to mask up and follow the guidelines. Expert opinion is just that – an opinion, and we have been led down the garden path by folks who disguise their disdain for us and disguise their desire for power over us by their use of our collective desire to protect ourselves from the unknown and do the right thing for our neighbors and family. It is time to push back this damnable narrative once and for all.
And yes, by the way, it was all about “orange man bad” originally, so the vote could be more easily manipulated and the cheating hidden.
Mark Twain is said to have once written: “It is easier to fool a man than it is to convince a man that he has been fooled.” How true that is today.
I don’t know if she and other parents understand just how much the Public School Bureaucracy hates them. I just left the profession, so I can speak from first-hand knowledge that the bureaucrats running these schools a) think they’re doing a great job, b) are 1,000x more “woke” than Coke, c) have no problem retaliating against her and her children to drive them out of the school (which, frankly, she should be prepared to school her children herself) and d) are at the mercy of their unions and bad teachers who like using COVID as an excuse not to work.
Parents nationwide are voting with their feed. Many districts nationwide have lost 10-25% or more of their student enrollment. The answer here is not to yell at the school board to drop the masks. The answer – if she wants her kids in a nightmare public school (don’t ask me why) – is to turn around and tell all the parents in the room that there are options OUTSIDE of the school, and that everyone should pull their kids out of the school.
We’re not going to convince these technocrats that they are wrong. They’re like religious true-believers. Just like Coke, Delta, etc. the answer is to JUST WALK AWAY.
That scares the hell out of them because students = $$$tax dollars/funding/power. Pull the students and their funding craters. The schools/Democrats also know that less government funding = less power for the NEA and less $$$ to bribe politicians. They also know that if the kids leave the schools, their power to indoctrinate students collapses.
Save America? Get your kids out of the public schools ASAP.
Must agree hokkada; even though parents are paying dearly at both ends.
This radicalization has been a long time coming.
We were part of the ‘screamers’ back in the 80’s and 90’s with our children.
Long story short, they did well in spite of the public education system.
Treepers, school retaliation is very real. I experienced it with my two learning disabled children. Their, the school board revenge followed my other children.
One was so bad, they had a special school with transportation to and from provided. Music and art therapies. Sports therapies. Psychotherapy. My child’s IEP was quite extensive. That cost them quite a bit. Of course we were lucky as we were able to afford an ‘advocate’.
This one pulled at my heartstrings. She’s absolutely correct and I would like my kids to be allowed in school without a mask. It’s their 1st week back to in person learning and we are all sick of it already.
That was AWESOME!
NOW, what are the rest of us going to do?
Show up at these school meeting with as many people as we can.
I believe it’s safe to say she SPEAKS FOR MILLIONS OF AMERICANS!
GOD BLESS THIS BEAUTIFUL MUM!
There is a group on Instagram in my city called #unmaskedsanantonio. I know several others have sprung up in various cities(including in other states). If there is not a group for your area, start one! People send messages every day regarding which businesses, schools, churches, etc are either mask-free or mask-optional. There is even legal help. It is a GREAT way to support each other!
It would not surprise me to see DHS show up at her door with an armed FBI SWAT team to deliver a no-knock warrant for her arrest.
There would almost definitely be armored vehicles, helicopter and amphibious vehicles involved as well. This is one dangerous mom, after all!
And a prearranged CNN crew to document her “shame” for posterity.
Somebody had to say it
God bless this woman.
I feel less of a parent after watching her speak.
My 6 year old had a breakdown this morning because she didn’t have her fave mask for kindergarten.
A typical 6 year old response when getting ready for school, but unreal when taken in context.
I’ll have to think about my next move.
I’ve been doing this for a long time. There’s a lot of bad stuff going on in these schools, from Marxist indoctrination programs to rezoning school properties to build high-density apartments.
At least a decade ago, I caused such a ruckus about their commie programs that the boards implemented a two minute comments rule right then and there, to quell dissent. It will take a LOT more people to stand up behind these brave folks and say “NO MORE!”
Otherwise they will continue to ignore us and shut us down, one-by-one.
I hate to admit that I almost enjoy the heat being turned up, because I am so sick and tired of being an army of one. If people need to suffer before they wake the hell up, then bring it! Americans have been wayyyy too complacent.
*WAKEupAMERICA??
Look up the “Delphi Technique”. It’s been used for years by our school district.
We need more brave people like this young woman, people who may fear speaking up but do so anyway. In this totalitarian atmosphere it takes courage.
True that if the masses refused, the covid mandates would fall, but if only one or two here and there refuse, they are steamrolled.
But look at the masses: There are still many people walking around outside with masks on in my area, despite the general mask mandate being lifted and replaced with “strongly encouraged”. Most people in retail stores still wearing masks, even though few stores have been enforcing this throughout the mask mandate period, let alone now when masks are optional according to the state.
That’s the problem: As long as the authorities are still pushing this nonsense, the majority will comply. If you try to tell the majority about the facts of the masks, distancing, and novel genetic treatments, for the disease little more hazardous than the flu overall, they summarily dismiss you with ad hominem. Because they are brainwashed by the propaganda (including the nifty device of banning alternate information from platforms “because it does not agree with the consensus of medical authorities” or whatever, which actually reinforces the false narrative to many).
Think about what happened in America over the last century or so. These are not the same people as the hardy individualists of the early period of this country.
Government schools inculcate ignorance, poor math and reading skills and habits, and unquestioning obedience to authority replacing critical thinking. Most people formed by government schools won’t even try to think for themselves, really – they don’t have the skills or insight.
The family has largely been decimated and scattered, by industrialization, feminism and the corporate paradigm, disrupting the passing of wisdom to successive generations and the safety net that provides security to stand and say “I dissent”.
Most are in bondage to debt, living paycheck to paycheck with very little saved for emergencies or job loss, people don’t want to risk losing their job because of refusing employer mandate for masks or vaccine.
And the rise of “safetyism” in the last few decades: I blame this one on the rise of the feminine psyche to dominance of society, on third-wave feminism starting in the 1970’s. (How many times has someone bid you goodbye with “Be safe” ? That’s safetyism.) It’s been observed that if America were like this in 1941, the primary language now on the west coast would be Japanese, the east coast German.
So, yes, if the majority up and said “no”, that would effectively end it. It’s not happening, is it? It appears that the plandemic architects spent years studying the population, and realized just how dumbed-down and compliant most are, and said “Eureka! We have the perfect plan to exploit this!”
Who are the ones who do this sort of thing? (Hint: Langley, VA.)
These face diapers are just so much virtue signaling. Most lower respiratory tract infections (LRTI) will hit you, mask or no mask. And my guess is that most LRTI’s are being called Covid-19 due to intellectual laziness; probably all LRTI’s are being lumped together as being Covid-19. LRTI’s include, but is not limited to, the flu (A & B), parainfluenza, and the various SARS diseases (all viral infections). The face diapers might stop bacteria but are no match for the viruses.
And just like that…. Wait for it… JoBama is threatening to shutdown the 4th of July if all the un-vaccinated don’t run out and take the shot? Did not know JoBama gave us the 4th of July, missed that somehow? The answer is elect better school boards. But some flip flop like bacon on a grill, say one thing, do another sadly…
You mean INDEPENDENCE DAY, right?
Amen, honey, amen!!
While trying to get a grip on the poliitical events of these past 5-6 years, and in particular Jan 6th… I stumbled onto the the link below. I have thought of posting it several times.
In light of recent events, and the bravery shown by the AWESOME young woman in the video above…
Well… today is the day.
The time is NOW…
https://lonang.com/commentaries/foundation/right-to-alter-or-abolish-government/
From the link…
….Just let the above
words sink in for a moment. First we have a quotation from the founding document of our nation, beloved and cherished by Americans for well over 200 years, to the effect that people have not only the right, but the duty, to throw off an abusive, despotic or tyrannical government which tramples on their individual rights.
Then we have laws enacted by that same nation having the primary purpose of ensuring that no one ever overthrows the existing government, conspires to overthrow it, or advocates its overthrow – without regard to whether those actions might actually be justified because the government has become abusive, despotic or tyrannical. Which illustrates a truism – the people have an absolute right to alter or abolish any given form of government, but the persons in power absolutely never want people to exercise that right.
It should be painfully obvious this is one reason (among others) why the Declaration of Independence has not been seriously regarded as law by legal scholars for over 100 years (and why it has been denigrated in academia). If people actually took the words of the Declaration at face value it would create all kinds of problems for our modern world, and people in academia, law and government have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.
Belief in a government of limited powers, or (God help us!) a government that can be discarded from time to time, would put politicians and government workers of all stripes (as well as those in the symbiotic fields of law and education) at risk for losing their jobs – an intolerable risk. That is one reason why mainstream political culture left the worldview of the American founders in the ash heap of history long ago.
However, I believe the Declaration yet has things to teach us that not only have value, but authority, as we deal with the pressing issues of an overreaching, over-regulating, abusive, and dare I say, increasingly tyrannical American government (both state and federal). I’d like to show you that the ideas embodied in the Declaration are really not radical or extreme at all. In fact, it’s not even complicated.
“We the People” has already turned the corner. Look at the arrests from Jan. 6th, 2021 compared to the no-arrests from the riots of 2020.
Look at the stolen Presidential election. What will stop the political class? Show up at the Capitol or White House in masse and armed you’ll be confronted with massive military force. Democrats are working OT to dismantle the entire US Constitution. They’re well on their way.
The election proved the courts (the injustice system) right up to SCOTUS is no defense. I’m looking for answers.
I receiving plenty of hyperbole or hearing crickets.
She is so powerful. I wish more mom’s would speak up.
JoeBama is officially the President of the divided states of America.
I cannot applaud. I yanked my children out of the public school for far less 25 years ago. I would not have let my children be subjected to this rot for a single day.
Tearful begging, no matter how articulate, no matter how impassioned, and no matter how sympathetic, after letting one’s own child actually be abused for a year, is not action. It’s pathetic, not praiseworthy.
Parents who fail to protect their children from abusers in other contexts are charged with crimes.
So then you know the cost of private school. But still you think everyone has the money for private school or home schooling . Some people struggle to put food on the table. Shame on all of you for being negative to people who don’t have the money you have. Shame on you all!!!!
Why do people put money before the welfare of their children?
Let that question sink in.
Live WELL below your means. Anything can be done with the help of the Almighty.
Just ask.
Agree…does every member of the family need a smart phone, a computer, a tv, a dvd player, Nike shoes…give me a break…
Food or private school? I’ve seen poverty and am surprised at how some have not.
.
Linda, yes the first thing I did was look at the best private schools in the area. Even 25 years ago, the tuition was impossible.
Then I took a good hard look, talked with lots of other home schoolers, about what was going on in the children’s classrooms every day, minute by minute. Time when the teacher was yelling, time when the teacher was lecturing various different groups (because no tracking any more) while the rest of the class worked on inane “worksheets”. Time for getting in line to go here or there. Time collecting and passing back papers. Time doing non-academic activities more easily and better duplicated elsewhere. Time getting the kids ready and to and from school. Time responding to the “parental involvement” demands and supervising “homework” (which never should be given at all in elementary school.)
All in all, out of the entire day, somethine between 9 and 12 minutes was being spent actually teaching my kids about something new. And in classrooms of between 27-32 kids, far less than that per day in direct interaction with each child.
I had no problem maintaining a full-time law practice, and homeschooling the children. In a sense, school was always “on”. In the regular schoolwork sense, it literally took two hours a day of my time where I was unable to do anything else. And there was lots of time for sneaking in education in the “painless” way that also was quality time — field trips, museums, sports, nature, community volunteering and involvement, etc. And reading, reading, reading to them. From the Bible straight through to hundreds of the classics. Fun. Quality time. Because I was responsible, I also constantly just selected fun extracurricular activities that also maximized learning.
The kids were in college before their 16th birthdays, had their associates degrees by age 18 — and that also saved (except for the West Pointer) two full years of college proper. They excelled once they got there.
On balance it saved money. They got an exemplary education. (By the way, there are reams of places on the internet with resources.) An added benefit is that I also now have a very good relationship with my grown children and I wouldn’t trade that time I spent with the kids for anything.
Yes, it’s kind of a scary step if you’ve never contemplated it before. As a kid way back when, I went to public school. Something like homeschooling would have seemed nuts. But when you make the commitment, it’s very doable. And rewarding.
Did her comment work? Did that Board vote to stop making the children wear masks?
Once again, these paper, cheap chinese product, were meant to be single use in the patient care area of a hospital and disposed of after the patient contact. That means the nurse was within three feet of the patient providing care and moving on to the next patient, with a new mask if the next patient condition dictated. This was before covid.
Wearing the same mask, on and off, for days…or for hours, is not healthy nor effective to the degree CDC implied.
The PPE packages, masks included, come with a little square of white paper with Chinese hieroglyphics. Who here can read Chinese? For all we ugly Americans know, is the printing states they are coming to invade us.
God Bless that Mom!
The mask edict for school classrooms, lunchrooms and playgrounds is government-mandated child abuse. That lady in Georgia is correct. We’ve long known the China Virus (yeah, that’s what I call it) doesn’t affect children.
Regular readers here know Sundance has posted my five video reports on the catastrophic impact of school closings and distance learning on children. I’ve talked to a lot of parents. None have wanted to go on-the-record about their disgust with mask and social distancing requirements.
Maybe the passion of the woman in Georgia will end the silence. She knows the masks are harming her child emotionally. Most parents do. In fact, I have a neighbor (a stay-at-home-dad) who’s kept his children in distance learning here in California because he doesn’t want them to have to wear a mask in school.
Wife and I attended a huge wedding party last weekend held in one of those giant tents. There were between 150 and 200 in attendance, ages ranging from children to elderly. Great buffet, open bar, and an 8 piece R&B band. And, other than catering staff, not one person had on a mask. Heard many comments about how great it was to live life normally again.
Look at the studies on CO2 in 2019. It was really harmful for children.
I’m hoping that there will be class action lawsuits over the mask mandates. I have a condition directly related to wearing a respirator and would join a lawsuit in a minute.
Have any of you folks seen the videos purportedly taken in the UK, that show brand-new single-use paper masks being unpacked, then examined under about 50 power magnification. One can see small, thin black wormlike things in the paper. If these videos are not fake news, and those worms (likely not visible to the naked eye) burrow into the mask wearer’s respiratory system, the end result may not be exactly beneficial. Comments are welcomed, as I have a hard time telling BS from fact in most internet videos these days.
I walked past a school playground yesterday and it broke my heart to see the little kids, ages 7-8 or so, all wearing masks while playing outside . So ridiculous and sad, I hope they won’t be scarred for life by this nonsense.
Well, they probably will be scarred for life. And that includes physically and mentally.
This Mother is Awesome!
A Hero!
Her daughter will be able to say—my Mom fought for me!
Bless her! We need more Mothers like her!
Wolverines!!!!!
