You can always tell who the left-wing media fear by the way they attempt to create false attacks against them. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has done an outstanding job leading his state through the COVID crisis.
While balancing the economic needs of the people, and keeping the majority of the state functioning and open, DeSantis prioritized protecting the most vulnerable elderly citizens; and then, once available, coordinating the COVID vaccine for that vulnerable population by expediting a massive distribution network to be the first state with over one million doses administered for those who wanted it. In addition DeSantis allowed local communities to make their own decisions about mask wearing and school opening.
As a result the population was protected, cases lower than a majority of states and the principles of small effective government exhibited. In essence, Governor Ron DeSantis embarrassed the heralded blue state governors (Newsom, CA, and Cuomo, NY) with an open economy and a protected population. DeSantis exhibited strong principle-centered leadership and the results speak for themselves.
Because his leadership advanced a popular opinion that he should run for president in 2024, the left-wing media attempt to create an attack narrative with a 60-Minutes hit-job on the vaccination rollout. The false narrative is so fundamentally flawed even legislative democrats in Florida are coming to his defense.

When the COVID crisis broke out DeSantis used the Florida National Guard to protect the elderly and nursing homes with medical resources, supply chain and logistics for quarantine needs. DeSantis used the recommended federal lock-down period to complete infrastructure projects on roads and bridges.
Ron DeSantis was the first governor to drop the state-wide mask mandate and eliminate any fines or punishment for not wearing a mask throughout the state. He was the first governor to re-open restaurants for eat-in dining, against opposition, and he kept the schools open for in-person teaching.
DeSantis partnered with the private sector for supply chain and logistics for vaccine rollout and he prioritized the vulnerable population; and Florida was the first state to achieve one million doses of vaccine delivered. He kept the economy open allowing business and local communities to make decisions at a local level, and he was the first governor to speak out against the COVID passport nonsense noting patient privacy as a key issue.
Florida also hosted the Superbowl without issue and has supported local venues making decisions on their COVID responses. As a result the economy in Florida continued to grow and unemployment is approximately half the national average.
Perhaps DeSantis’ biggest accomplishment was keeping the principles of individual responsibility, liberty and freedom at the forefront of his decisionmaking. Obviously, that makes him a threat to the far-left…. ergo, the CBS attempt to attack… which failed because it is manipulated and FALSE, BIGLY.

And just how does THAT prevent a huge broadcast corporation, one which dwarfs the cable news networks in people reached, from defaming someone in public office?
I think it turns on the fact that politicians can not be defamed by the mere fact that they are “public” servants.
The problem is in freedom… and we can not allow infringement of that freedom to call out the politicians.
So, now we got a bigger problem… how can we prevent bad actors from abusing the FCC
Ideally the FCC would step in because lies like these do not server the “public interest”… but since the FCC is controlled by the Fascists…

Don’t just get rid cable TV, throw away your television, cancel any streaming services you have, delete your social media accounts, uninstall ALL Google apps/services from you PC/Phone and set your new browser to literally ANY other search engine.

It’s quite telling that the left fears DeSantis, but what do they fear? Do they only fear him winning? I think they fear much more than just him winning politically. They fear him showing what a contrast in leadership there is between a real leader, and someone who was pushed into a position for other reasons with someone else pulling their strings. They fear him making their leaders look incompetent. They fear him making it clear their leaders are taking actions based on politics and not what is best for all. They fear him showing people can live free without the need for a massive nanny state.
Biggest of all, they fear his making clear there is no need for massive, authoritarian government control of everyone’s mundane daily activities.
Their fear makes them look childish and petty in trying to bring him down to their level.
And you win the interwebs today1 Fear is behind all of it for them and the clock is ticking. I take great comfort knowing that while I may not be here to witness it, there is a reckoning coming and they are not going to be happy people when it comes.
They know they are guilty, and their guilt feeds their fear and thus they do their best to deflect and hide their crimes.

Today I had to take one of my dogs to the vet for surgery – long drive to a country vet. Big signs, STOP! Call first! Wear a mask! None of us but a young couple and an old couple complying – that sort of typifies the “groups” if you will. The older folks have been pounded with the “at risk” propaganda, and the young folks indoctrinated into the “for the greater good” propaganda. Most of us folks in the middle are on to them and can read, and know that masks don’t work for a teensy tiny virus, and we’re not all that into “compliance” to boot. LOL. No one in our vet’s office insisted on compliance. Our governor though… lacks guts. One might think he’s just trying to stay out of controversial politics and “mind his own taters”. But, I did ask him about our National Guard being stationed in D.C. He said they were there for a few days and he brought them home. I’ll give him that. I’d like to see a Governor who vocally stands up to the mob like DeSantis!! I think many of us are envious of Florida’s governor right now. He’s wildly popular because he stood up and pushed back! Governors should take note.
Governor DeSantis will be a target for the next several years. He’s way to smart though. Dem media is playing to their kind. Americans don’t pay any attention to this dribble any more. Trump can be House Speaker in 20 months and then President again or Ron walks in with Trumps support. Either way the Dems are destroyed in fine fashion.
