Setting aside that Benson spelled Daron Shaw’s name wrong; and reminding yourself that Guy Benson is a paid Fox News contributor; what he has outlined in that tweet is actually quite remarkable. The pollster paid by Fox News to predict election outcomes, is a key part of the crew that calls the results on election night. Think about that.
Think about the conflict, the purposeful and brutally obvious conflict, that would exist in using the same person to predict elections and then report on the results of that election.
Obviously a person performing both tasks, predicting & reporting on outcomes, is going to have a self-interest in affirming their predictions; after all, that’s how they are paid.

If the Dems win both of those, and Biden wins, then Dems control senate with 50/50 split. This is what I think the “fix” ballots push is about.
Purdue is currently at 50.27% and falling (97% of vote in) as more vote by mail ballots come in (including ones that can be “fixed”).
So where the hell are the Republicans legislature in GA? Where the hell is the governor? Where the hell is the National Republican Committee? If the Dems have plotted such a long game to win this election, where the hell was Republicans plotting to mount their own strategy in swing states they control or at least counter the Dems game plan. If there are legal challenges to the result that the SOS publishes then the courts will adjudicate. Considering the enormous number of mail-in ballots it would be prudent to verify that those ballots are accurate including signature verification standards.

I stopped following FN long ago and am amazed and disappointed that so many “patriots” apparently still (at least perhaps until last night) have regarded it as a trustworthy source for “news.” When will more on “our side” wake up?
In their original days, Fox was a trustworthy source for conservatives. When the sons took over, they kept a few of the old timers to keep us happy. Not all of us get OANN with our cable, so it is what it is. What they did last night was beyond the pale. Now I have to convince my senior parents that Fox isn’t their friend- I’ve hinted at it throughout the year, but my parents can be stubborn.
Once they stuck the knife in Roger Ailes it was all over.

This is of course not as “entertaining” as TV, but just as we now hopefully realize about “sports,” “entertainment” and TV in general (remember “Cuties”—how many “patriots” canceled Netflix I wonder?), virtually all such things are in the control of our enemies who are using them very effectively it seems to influence people, including far too many “patriots.”

I actually get my news from here. The only time I watch Fox is when the President is speaking. When Fox kept interjecting while he was speaking, I switched to CSpan. I briefly had Newsmax on last night, but then I decided to just hang out with the Treehouse. The only TV I watch is when Ohio State football is playing (sue me). I don’t do Netflix, either.

My mother-in-law unit was coupled to the cable of the main house but I have never missed the TV. CTH links relevant shows like Lou Dobbs and Maria B so besides those what is there to miss? So much can be found on line and talk radio/Rush Limbaugh is great to listen to while I cook and clean.
We are very similar in our approach. It is telling as to why we are where we are and discouraging as to the future when one surveys the apparent inability of so many on “our side” who seem to believe the only thing needed is a vote rather than a lifestyle and belief system rooted in the Jude-Christian values of our Founders and upon which our nation was created.

I apologize for seeming crass. My ancestors have fought for this country and their survival since the French and Indian Wars (even before that). They were poor/faced hardships (and many did not survive), but they never whined, they sought FREEDOM! “Pursuit of Happiness” as described in the Declaration of Independence (the right to pursue your chosen way of life, be it a farmer, merchant, blacksmith, carpenter, trapper, religious liberty, etc). The best explanation I have ever heard verbally was by Mark Levin, I wish I could find that podcast/show.

I was the potato peeler and dishwasher. Of course she had no washing machine either…All the families of the village were in the same boat.

Since Election Day, I’ve avoided the news. I knew this was going to drag out like 2000. I don’t trust any of the nets right now and now that I’ve read about fox and what they did, I was right not to trust them.
I trust our President will file the appropriate suits in the contested states. I also know he won’t shirk and accept a phony defeat. He won’t go along to get along. He is our lion and he will fight for us.

While I’m not literally weeping, I understand the emotional investment. DJT was the person many had been waiting for their whole lives. He made you believe and he made you feel like he was there for you because he legitimately loves the country and the people.
We all are going to struggle for a time with the uncertainty of where we go from here. I myself feel like we’ve been in a race to the bottom and that DJT merely was a temporary brake. Soon we’ll be back in free fall.
I think it’s important that we all be here for each other and for others in our real world circles because there might be some out there who are truly crushed by this event. Right now the admonition to not allow this to keep us from living our best lives is going to be hard.
More than that, I fear that living our best lives means a pullback from being immersed in the culture of Trump and, for lack of a better phrase, giving up on the system. I always told people that MAGA starts with ourselves as individuals, our families our immediate social circles and our communities. Too many people just used it as a slogan and expected to vote for people to do it for them, with the result that possibly the worst candidate for office not name Hillary Clinton in US history is now the most voted-for candidate in US history. Voter fraud notwithstanding, north of 70,000,000 people, many of them in the rust belt, the so called forgotten people, spat in the face of the only President to truly give a care about them in decades. I don’t know how we vote or pray our way out of that level of idiocy.
This may be what it takes to open some eyes.
