Today is election day and there’s a lot of nervousness about the outcome. Relax, there’s more room for optimism if you dispatch the negativity. The media is “all in” for Joe Biden, and this comes as a surprise to who? Tune them out. All the variables that are non MSM related point toward a historic win for Donald Trump over the next 18 hours.
Go Vote.
Help your family and friends to vote if needed. Lend car-pools or babysit; gently remind friends and family, or do what you can to turn your energy into positive action – it will help you ignore the chattering noise.
CTH is going to approach the 2020 election day the same way we have in each year of an election contest. Nothing fancy, just steady and simple.

♦ Do not be discouraged by media. Tune out the noise. Remember, they have corporate interests at stake in this election. The last four years of enlightenment provided by Trump should give us a frame of reference to dismiss their manipulative efforts. Nothing will ever be the same again. The fourth estate has fundamentally destroyed itself and will never recover. Stay away from their toxic lies as they thrash and drown in the sea of their own creation.
♦ Calm yourself and breathe. Before absorbing any information ask yourself if thinking about it provides nourishment or toxicity. If the latter, ignore it. Don’t spread negativity just because you are incapable of retaining your own sensibility or confidence.
♦ The media are notoriously predictable with exit polling, take all exit polling with a grain of salt. You will not see the CTH promote it. Just like “media polling” exit polling inherently carries the ideological bias of the outlet delivering the results. Exit polls are used by media to frame a narrative for their broadcasts; nothing more.
♦ Anticipate election day “gaslighting” from the same media. If a state result is close and Biden is leading, they will likely call it for him. Conversely if Trump is leading a close result they will delay any calls benefiting him. The MSM intended objectives for doing this are just as obvious as they were in 2016, and then again with the 2020 democrat primary contest. The media attempt to influence turnout in time zones by their method of calling races with earlier polling closes. When you know their techniques, you inoculate yourself from their manipulation.
♦ At approximately 5:00pm CTH will open “Election Results Discussion Threads” with links to some of the more user-friendly polling aggregates so you can check on status updates and discuss election results as they come in. There will be multiple Election night threads sequentially numbered.

OT, but tangentially relevant. Went to Costco yesterday, they gave me a mask, I didn’t put it on. Some few moments later, I was passed by a very pretty young blonde lady wearing a red MAGA hat–and no mask. I smiled at her and said, “I like your hat!” She smiled back and said, “I like being able to see your face!”

Chautauqua county, Western New York. My polling station is in the Mount Carmel Church gymnasium in the tiny village of Silver Creek.
I have voted in every election since I turned 18 back in, *where’d the time go* 1976. I have never seen such a crowd around here exercising their civic duty to vote. Usually I’m in and out in a few minutes.
Not this time, I had to wait probably 15 minutes just to get my ballot in a township that probably only has 3 thousand eligible voters. The crowd was cheerful, friendly and enthusiastic.
My gut instinct tells me these people weren’t inspired and feeling that way to vote for Biden.
Trump’s campaign strategy is paying off. He knows the number of red voters is large and huge. Most, though, don’t vote. They just don’t. They are working-class and work- to them, time is money and money is time- they actually punch a clock. Trump is getting those people to show up. The silent majority is real.
And in what state?
Line at my NYC voting place was around the block since we have to maintain distancing. It moved along quickly though and I was done in half an hour. Had to wear a mask, but I kept mine around my chin (even that position is annoying); got asked to raise it and just ignored the person and scanned my ballot. And walked out without my mask on, head high. Landslide for Pres Trump!
HOLY MOLY, WTF. Let me just say this:
I have lived in CT since 2008. I have voted in every Presidential election and all but two mid-terms (in CT the mid-terms are a waste if you are a conservative- there are never any on the ballot).
I arrived early. And I just got out. I have never in my time here seen so many people at the polls Never. Not even when Obama ran the first time.
I don’t know who people are voting for but if many are like my liberal wife this time around- they will not say a word, they will vote Trump and then get the F out. My wife admitted she voted for him after it was said and done and she said she also couldn’t vote for Hayes, she left it blank because she doesn’t like Sullivan. At least that’s one less vote for Hayes.
Also, an anecdotal notice- the people who I assume are liberals by their overtly NE hippy style (but you know with brand names….just look hippyish- if you live in NE you know what I mean) were up to their complaining already- one liberal lady(BLM button. older, disheveled hair, screeching- rich NE hippy outfit) was complaining about numbers in the building and fire codes- she got the fire marshall. She was complaining about the lights down one hallway and escaping in a fire…..seriously….I applaud the FM- he looked at her…took his keys out, walked over to the key light switch, turned it on…went to an exit door in the middle of the hall, and wedged it open. Then said- if you get cold, direct your complaints to this young lady, thanks. And he went back outside. I had to keep from LMFAO.
Also, another anecdotal observation- very few were saying hi or good morning to the Democrats in their electioneering tent but a lot of people were stopping by and shaking hands at the Republican table saying good luck in the locals. No one was mentioning Biden or Trump. I think that’s because where I live…if you mention Trump….the NE Hippies I mentioned earlier would start exploding.
If this is Connecticut, that’s a great sign.

I’m in deep blue CT as well. I work with many dems in my job and several of them are saying they won’t vote Biden. They can’t bring themselves to vote for Trump, even though they agree with many of his economic policies, so they’re voting third party. That’s as close to a win as you can hope for, I guess.

My son, a 17-year-old MAGA young man, was caught up in one on Saturday on 84. He said, poof out of nowhere all of these MAGA cars and Trump cars….he and his buddy had to join in, he said they had no flags so they honked their horn, opened their windows started hooting and hollering with some of the other people doing the same.
I have never ever seen this kind of conservative support in CT. Ever.

You know, as a life long lower Hudson Valley resident, there’s no way I would have ever thought this state might be out there for a Republican. But this morning a friend of mine went to go vote. In a town of about 12,000 voters they waited an hour and a half just to get inside the building and that’s an area that’s very red so maybe there is some chance. I won’t get my hopes up but man would I love to be pleasantly surprised.
They’re also, some of them, lying. They’ll vote their pocketbook, their stocks, their 401ks and vote Trump.
I was voter #2 at my precinct this morning! Hamburg Township, Michigan. There were about 50 people in line behind me.
I am hearing about longer lines in other precincts in the area though.
I was voter # 1 in my precinct 2, Rockford Mi. I got here at 5:15 AM for the privilege.
It was line up all around the city offices, and down the street, at 7:05 AM, when I left.

I’m a few miles away over the Huguenot Bridge. I have 2 family members who are going with me but they had to be to work at 5 so we are going at 3. I told them we may be standing in line. I knew they might not vote since they are not political but I made them register in 2018 and have been begging them for the last week to see they might not have their jobs if they do not vote for the Preesident. So , victory! one actually called me last night and told his boss he has to leave a little early. The other is meeting me at polling place
It’s only 2 I have won over out of a lot of liberal family who mostly live in Northern Virginia. But I always know that every vote counts. MAGA today!

The MSM keeps ignoring two things when they report on the election. The ignoring of these two things: 1. the large defection of black voters, and 2. the large defection of Hispanic voters from the Democrat party line. They don’t ever talk about that, ever. Why? Because if Trump truly garners between 20-30% of the black vote like the visuals are indicating, it’s game over. Done. Now, couple that with an even larger portion of the Hispanic vote (estimated to be over 50% now), it’s a double game over..HISTORIC.
And, the third group I allude to- the people who typically don’t vote. Just see Butler, PA to see how that crowd will turn out this time around.
All we have to do is show up and vote. Keep the news off and vote. And, by the looks of it at 545 am when I arrived at the polling place- people are showing up to vote.

Got to the polling place at 0545 hours and was the 15th in line. Even with masks on, you could tell PDJT voters by the gleam in their eyes and the giddy-up in their steps. Brand X voters appeared angry and glaring at the happy people. They look like somebody pi$$ed in their Wheaties before they left home.

Yes central PA too but I’m nervous. We live in a Woke rural outpost (Due to a large local employer). The lib turnout is big and I didnt expect that in person. Years before, the lefties stayed very quiet b/c it’s mostly conservative overall- but this year it’s tons of Biden signs pushed by every ladies wine/book club you can imagine. They have gone crazy here and I’m hoping that it’s just that they make more noise than us quiet, “just leave us alone” Trump voters.

It opens in 2 1/2 hours. It will be interesting to see the lines.
I don’t trust the drop off boxes so I will bring in my non solicited vote by mail ballot that was sent to everyone in CA this year and vote in person.
I believe that Governor Newsom’s strategy is to make it miserable and time consuming to vote in person on the day of the election.
Why not just drop it in a box and take weeks to count…

VERY blue Montgomery County, MD reporting in. Polls opened today at 7AM. Left home at 6:30 and was in line at 6:40AM. We were numbers 4 & 5 in line. Polling site opened on time and we had the option of paper ballot, which the voter scans in, with the paper being stored in the locked scanning machine, or electronic voting. We chose the first option (of course!). We were done and home by 7:20 AM. Line as we left was out the door, but still not that long. Most likely a 15-20 minute wait, max.

I checked the national weather map as the political folklore says rain and bad weather suppresses votes. Rain/snow in blue New England and rain in Pacific Northwest. Chilly in places but mostly great weather. If someone does not like the result, can’t blame the weather. I would stand in line outside in the rain to vote this year. Here in central Ohio, there is a very large crowd down the street at my school’s Kindergarten building which is today a polling place.
One could assume that a majority are BIDEN voters, given the guilty-rich liberal atmosphere of the neighborhood, with the exception of the Catholic parents at my school, who are almost all for PRESIDENT TRUMP. However, to be sure, most yards in the area are sign-free. BIDEN signs are in the majority, but…who knows about those sign-free yards?
TV News of course was pushing BIDEN LEADS IN OHIO POLL BY 5%.
Checking in from Huntington Woods, Michigan. Took about 45 minutes including 20 minutes of walk time. No line, but I was there at 7 sharp.
The sign-ratio around here (affluent mostly white neighborhood) is anything but favorable, but there are lots of homes with no signs at all which makes me hopeful.

Got to the polls at 6:15am and had to wait in a 1/2 hour line. It was worth every minute to vote for the best president of my lifetime, Donald J. Trump! I live in blue state NY (ugh) Larchmont in Westchester County. I absolutely love our president! MAGAA!
My opinion: the Biden voters, by and large, have already voted early; there’s no energy driving any others to the polls today, and many will stay home rather than vote in person for a losing ticket.
Three generations; mother, daughter, grand daughter (first time 18 yo) will be voting for President Trump in about 1 hour.. We are also casting our vote for Dan Forest (governor).. Holding our nose for Thom Tillis 🙂

Well, my wife just got a text from a friend she works with who was voting on the North Side of Pittsburgh (Allegheny County) this morning, and the poll workers told her she was listed as having already voted by mail. She didn’t. Allegheny County, PA was on the DOJ list of counties across the Country for poll watching. Saddened to hear of an incident already. Her friend is pretty upset this has happened to her.
What’s her recourse ? How terrible !

Because the poll workers do not know the mail-in was a fraud. Think Think….you vote by mail (hard to impossible to intercept if opened already) and then vote in PERSON. This is EXACTLY what PDJT referenced in a couple of rallies last week. It could be done INTENTIONALLY as well for 2 X votes.

My wife’s friend I mentioned in the post above regarding having been told she was on the listing of those who had voted by mail already, filled in a provisional ballot, which, imo, is still not ideal, as the process will still have to work for the provisional ballot to be counted rather than the fraudulently mailed-in one. THIS is EXACTLY the confusion and chaos the leftists wanted to create with all this mail-in ballot push. Will have my wife advise her about calling the voter hotline at 1-877-VOTESPA (1-877-868-3772) that Krystal mentioned. I was trying to google the President’s number he mentioned but could not find it.

Chester County PA. Polling place jammed @ 7:00AM open. Line out the door, lot full, people parking in the shopping center across the street and walking over. Unfortunately this area went Hillary 2:1.
Dauphin County PA here – was in line at 6:30 – polls opened at 7. I was number 17. Very long lines. Have never seen it like that. Voted straight R.
York County, Pa here. Same deal. Extremely long lines, long wait.

Polls opened at 7am in Indian river county. In and out by 7:15. Approx 30 people in line with me and approx the same number in line as I left. One police officer standing far away from voters and poll workers were friendly. We have a county population under 200k so can’t image there will be any hours long waiting for voting as there were a lot of absentee ballots and early voting.
My 94 year old mother did absentee ballot and voted Trump and I proudly cast my vote for him this morning. I verified my mother’s ballot was received and counted last week and she made me bring her an “I Voted” sticker home this morning.
My wife and I got to the polling place in northern Harford County, Maryland a little before 7 this morning. There was a line waiting to get in. At 7 the line began to move and we were very shortly inside, (this is a High School so there is plenty of room inside). Everything went very smoothly, the voting personnel were very nice. I wore my Viet Nam Vet hat and was thanked for my service by one of the judges. We both voted for President Trump and were out of the door in no time. Harford County is a conservative county. In fact, most of Maryland’s counties are conservative except for the DC metro area, and Baltimore City.
In our County (Jackson County FL) we were a solid blue county who voted conservative. Been that way forever. Since the 2016 election, we have turned it RED and we are quite proud of it.

As of close of the poles for early voting today, 17,135 votes have been cast or 57.39%. Of those, 8,746 Republicans, 7,161 Democrats, 1146 No Party Affiliation and 82 others have voted either by mail or early voting! Election day is Tuesday, November 3 – please cast your vote.
If you got an Absentee Ballot and decide to vote in person, bring it with you so they can cancel it easy. I did not bring mine, was the 12th person in line, and had to sit on the Group W bench for 20 minutes to get my absentee ballot canceled before I could vote.

I voted last week in person and I never cancelled my (unused) absentee ballot. Does this void my in-person vote? The machine successfuly tabulated my in-person ballot, so I thought I was good to go.

North Arlington, VA at 7:15 this morning. No one in line, literally. Walked in by myself alone and voted. Never seen that before. Maybe they all early voted. But 2012 I stood in line for awhile.
