Today is election day and there’s a lot of nervousness about the outcome. Relax, there’s more room for optimism if you dispatch the negativity. The media is “all in” for Joe Biden, and this comes as a surprise to who? Tune them out. All the variables that are non MSM related point toward a historic win for Donald Trump over the next 18 hours.
Help your family and friends to vote if needed. Lend car-pools or babysit; gently remind friends and family, or do what you can to turn your energy into positive action – it will help you ignore the chattering noise.
CTH is going to approach the 2020 election day the same way we have in each year of an election contest. Nothing fancy, just steady and simple.
We believe in the KISS principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid):

♦ Do not be discouraged by media. Tune out the noise. Remember, they have corporate interests at stake in this election. The last four years of enlightenment provided by Trump should give us a frame of reference to dismiss their manipulative efforts. Nothing will ever be the same again. The fourth estate has fundamentally destroyed itself and will never recover. Stay away from their toxic lies as they thrash and drown in the sea of their own creation.
♦ Calm yourself and breathe. Before absorbing any information ask yourself if thinking about it provides nourishment or toxicity. If the latter, ignore it. Don’t spread negativity just because you are incapable of retaining your own sensibility or confidence.
♦ The media are notoriously predictable with exit polling, take all exit polling with a grain of salt. You will not see the CTH promote it. Just like “media polling” exit polling inherently carries the ideological bias of the outlet delivering the results. Exit polls are used by media to frame a narrative for their broadcasts; nothing more.
♦ Anticipate election day “gaslighting” from the same media. If a state result is close and Biden is leading, they will likely call it for him. Conversely if Trump is leading a close result they will delay any calls benefiting him. The MSM intended objectives for doing this are just as obvious as they were in 2016, and then again with the 2020 democrat primary contest. The media attempt to influence turnout in time zones by their method of calling races with earlier polling closes. When you know their techniques, you inoculate yourself from their manipulation.

I just heard Kayleigh on FOX talking about the week long vote from PA. She said if the win isn’t clear election night they are going to court to enforce the PA legislature’s decision on voting being submitted by election day. The Constitution says the State Legislature decides, not the courts and team Trump is on it.

I have never seen so many people at the polls. Usually I am in and out in 10 minutes or less. Today I stood outside in a line 50 people deep.
I was voter 321 out of a population of roughly 2500. Approximately 600 absentee ballots were received.
In 2016 I was able to get in and out fast but there was a long line of new people registering for the first time.
Were they young? People you recognized? Looked like they were “from around here“? I’m so worried that Biden’s team put all their time and money into the steal. They sure as heck did not put it into campaigning.

Wife and I voted here in Iredell County, NC at 8:00AM at a community church. Polls opened at 6:30AM. 43 degrees outside with no waiting lines. Went right in and right back out in about 10 minutes (it was like that in 2016 as well). I was the 75th voter.
NYS election update: We arrived at our polling place at 5:55 a.m. anticipating 6 a.m. opening. Our polling location is adjacent to another polling location and both locations had long lines around each building and extending into the parking lot before either location opened.
We stood in line for 70 minutes in 42 degree weather. When we left, the line was equally long and suggests a record-breaking turnout for this election.

Just returned from voting in my very conservative little enclave in Lafayette, LA. Longest lines I’ve ever seen for any election to date. There were 2 lines (divided into districts – 2 for each line) where there is usually only a single line, Both lines were equally long and it took about an hour to get inside to vote.

I voted in CT today. The line was huge and it took an hour to get through it. My town is conservative so I think that is good news. I woke early and prayed with my 8 year old son, took him to the polls and we both wore USA hats. I texted my family here in the US, we are originally from Portugal, and encouraged everyone to vote all republican down ballot. Everyone is on board, except a few younger ones who have been brainwashed by the media. I thank Sundance for everything he has done in these last 4 years. I love this site and ALL my fellow friends here. Stay positive, we got this!

Voted this a.m. in Louisville, KY. Breezed in and out but they had a great system this year. Smiled as I pulled in because lone guy standing in his pick up truck bed holding up a TRUMP sign a la John Cusack in “Say Anything”. Afterwards got in my car and prayed for President Trump, our country, and safety today.
Me, my wife and kids voted in the Lehigh Valley PA…. looooong line… over 1.5 hr wait…. very cold and windy…. no one was complaining…..but lots of MAGA people!
Outlier here in blue Macon-Bibb Co. Voted at 8:15 AM (polls opened at 7 AM), a few cars coming and going. I was processed as fast as I could follow the blue arrows with zero waiting. I spent more time recording my votes (and I had pre-reviewed all state/local measures) than the check-in and paper ballot casting. Poll workers were super friendly and well organized, if it were a business I’d return for more.

I know it’s not perfect, but I really like what the Secretary of State did in Georgia regarding giving you a printed copy of your choices to put in the tabulator yourself. This way helps you visually ensure your vote hasn’t been magically flipped by a ‘glitch’ in the voting machines before it is officially cast by you.
And there is a actual piece of paper that can be used to verify voter intent if there are any irregularities.
Yes! Brand new voting machines and a printed copy of your votes. It was just wonderful. You even know your ballot was accepted and what number you were.

Voted in very blue Tucson at 6:15am. Was about 20 people in line. Was about the same in 2016.
All the poll workers and voters had masks and gloves. I went in without a mask and was asked twice if I wanted one. Replied firmly with “you can’t deny me my right to vote for not wearing a mask”. That ended it. Voted and left.
Aside from the mask bologna the intake for voting was very good. Took your ID and then asked you to state your address and needed 2nd form of ID if things on their roster didn’t match your ID. A few people got stuck going to a secondary “special” line. So in this regard it seemed they were doing a good job.
I went to vote last Monday in Manhattan where early voting consolidated several polling places into one. It was a chilly, windy and rainy day. The line was more than 2 city blocks long and the wait around 1 1/2 hours as two voting machines were down.
The nearest avenue was blocked off from most traffic by roadblocks painted with “BLM” and hearts in lavenders, yellows, blues and pinks. It’s the East Village – one of the strongholds of our not-so-loyal opposition.
This polling station encompassed the northern end of the Avenue D/East River Projects and the East Village. There is a great divide between the two populations. The projects are primarily Latino and the East Village is mostly young and uber progressive.
In line were Latinos from the projects, heavily tilted towards the male. The East Villagers in line were mainly female. The difference was very stark visually. And yes, everybody was wearing masks in line. Everybody. Maybe it was the rain and the grey skies, but this was one of the most depressing voting lines I’ve ever seen.
Inside, it was controlled pandemonium. Too many workers in certain areas, too few booths to write your vote. I had just come from the medical enter where my eyes had been dilated and had difficulty comprehending the instructions on the outer folder given to me with my ballot. At first, I thought it was my eyes so I kept reading and rereading the instructions, holding up the ballot to compare it to what the folder stated. After the third attempt to reconcile the two, I realized that the instruction folder was written for a ballot with a totally different design. When I to scan my ballot, I went over to the poll workers and pointed out the discrepancy. They grabbed my folder, glanced at my ballot (so much for privacy!), read the instructions and shook their heads saying, “Yeah, you’re right.”
In short, the instructions told you to fill out the bubble to the left of your candidate’s name. The ballot had bubbles on top of the name. Of course, the bubble “to the left” of Trump’s name, was the column to vote for Biden. Maybe some people will think that it was obvious how to fill out the ballot, but I still think it was needlessly confusing – and probably deliberately so.

Early voted here in TN couple weeks ago. Just heard from 1 nephew he stood in line about an hour in a St Louis suburb to vote Trump. Another nephew voted a week ago in IL Trump. His live in girlfriend is resident of AZ and he helped her vote absentee for Trump 3 weeks ago. AZ is going to be one of the keys to both the White House and Senate.
I know this thread has a lot of anecdotal evidence but damn I’m fired up and feeling good. I think Trump will indeed flip Virginia tonight.

My husband and I left the house at 5:50 to cast our votes for President Trump, Senator Gade, and Rep Good. It was dark, windy and cold, 35°. We stood in line outside for about 6 minutes waiting for the doors to open, then another 5 or so minutes to reach the door. The line in front of us was 35 people or so, and continued to form behind us. Not an overwhelming crowd for a presidential election year, but it was early and this is Charlottesville, after all!

The wife and I voted early in Harris County, Texas (Houston) on the second day of early voting, that had steady stream of about 20 voters distanced. Polling place was an Evangelical Church’s big multi-purpose room.
Today in Houston TX is a cool, clear perfect weather. So that may enhance turnout. Beware the democrats that control county-level offices in the big counties.
I’m reporting in from the Republican stronghold of Delaware County, OH (Village of Powell): I got my vote in for VSGPDJT and a straight Republican ticket at 8:45 this morning; I was in and out in about 10 minutes thanks to some very nice and competent poll workers. The nice lady who gave me my I VOTED sticker told me that folks were in the parking lot at 5:15 this morning ready to vote (polls didn’t open until 6:30). She also said that the volume was crazy for the first hour and a half but has remained steady since.
With Florida Iowa and Ohio, 45 starts the day PRIMED FOR VICTORY BY 9pm!

Voted this Morning on Skidaway Island, Savannah, GA
I went in a little after 7 AM, was out by 7:30 AM.
I am handicapped and went to front of line. They had a special table set up for Handicapped and/or people over 75.
I had to have my Absentee Ballot cancelled out by County Registrar (Polling Supervisor had to call them to get a code) because I never received it or I would have been out in 15 minutes or less.
I would estimate at least 100 people in line when I came in was and growing steadily as I was processed.
After this is all over, a top national priority must be to bring fairness, accuracy and integrity to our election process before 2024. If we fail to do that, then little else will matter.

FDR was a very duplicitous and misguided man. He has much to be criticized for. Still, he led the country successfully, poor methods or not, through the two toughest crises of the 20th Century. He may also have saved us from a revolution. The missive printed above shows the side of him that allowed him to lead in such a way that the people would follow him. He was a very flawed man in many ways, but he was capable of brilliance and I think he did love the United States. May God grant that our future leaders love our country just as much as he did, but avoid his costly mistakes.
Whatever issues you may have with him, it’s shouldn’t take away how great this speech was

Already voted early, in person, in Texas. Arrived at work this morning to find there is a polling place across the road from my job.
I voted for Trump (of course), Gohmert, and I held my nose to vote for Cornyn. Cornyn is a phone swamp monster, but still, slightly, better than a democrat.

Such true words from Sundance. I voted last night here where I live in heavily blue SE Los Angeles County. I was one of the last voters in line and it was a pretty good turnout at my precinct. Every voter here in the state was given a mail in ballot, but even in a state like California where the president realistically has little chance of winning, I want my vote to count so I voted in person! The president will pick up a few more percentage points this year and hopefully that will help in the popular vote total. More than a few Democrats and independents will cast a vote for the president as a protest against Emperor Newsom and his dictatorial control over this state especially with COVID. So many Californians of all political stripes are growing sick of that buffoon. I’m confident the president will win, but I won’t be totally comfortable until he is officially re-elected!
Called my employees this morning to let them all know they can take as much time in line as they want, but VOTE. No need. They all have voted early already (good news as they’re all Trump supporters). This is in North Georgia where yesterday Richard Baris said on his podcast that the rural counties in this area of our state have already had high turnout. Democrat fantasies of turning Georgia blue this time are just that. Fantasies.
My youngest and his family did early voting last week. That’s 4 votes (Dawson County) not helping to turn Georgia blue.

Just received a couple of reports from the voting lines in Hamilton and Punxsutawney areas of Jefferson County PA, and the lines are longer than my contact can remember. Record #’s.
I’m heading to the polls in a minute to vote here in Upstate, SC.
!00 years ago got the right to vote. I did today, in person in small town CT.
There was a line at the polling place , spoke to lady in front of me who has
lived there long time said there was never a line before, poll worker said this
morning there was a line around the building at 5:30 poll didn;t open till 6:00.
Very organized, line moved fast. no issues.
Three more votes for POTUS this morning from my family in deep blue broward county. Wife and I arrived around 8:30am and there was another husband and wife team in front of us with a MAGA mask on, so that would be 2 additional votes for POTUS on top of our 3 votes in my family, line was normal for this small polling station, nothing crazy as far as lines are concerned.
Long time reader, first time poster here in Tampa. Wife and I voted IPEV last Friday. Now I am just watching the Florida votes roll in for PDJT. Ds started the day with a 112,000 ballot lead. That has almost been erased in the first two hours of voting. We don’t like red tides in Florida but we will take the Red Wave that is coming!
De Santis has estimated Trump will get a 500k ED win, ending up with about a 300k or so Fla win. Similar numbers in OH NC MI AZ and PA. Michigan is about up 350k D in early voting, but they were up more in 16 and still lost.
Palm Beach County has a new Supervisor of Elections, Wendy Sartory Link, who was appointed by Gov. DeSantis. She spent more than a million upgrading machines. We voted early.. It was a bit slow because of COVID protocols but it went smoothly. Everyone seemed well-trained. Early votes have been counted, I have read, but results are stored in secure computer until tonight. If Palm Beach County gets more than 40% Republican, it will be a big win in Florida. I am optimistic.
Someone needs to slap all NYers coming down there and voting blue.
