Today is election day and there’s a lot of nervousness about the outcome. Relax, there’s more room for optimism if you dispatch the negativity. The media is “all in” for Joe Biden, and this comes as a surprise to who? Tune them out. All the variables that are non MSM related point toward a historic win for Donald Trump over the next 18 hours.
Go Vote.
Help your family and friends to vote if needed. Lend car-pools or babysit; gently remind friends and family, or do what you can to turn your energy into positive action – it will help you ignore the chattering noise.
CTH is going to approach the 2020 election day the same way we have in each year of an election contest. Nothing fancy, just steady and simple.
We believe in the KISS principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid):
♦ We will post threads for ground reports in two to three hour increments beginning at 10:00am Eastern Time Zone. Share your experience within your own community. How is the turnout? Wait Times? Excitement or lack thereof at your polling station… etc.
It is critical that everyone vote. Remember, historically there are two metrics that drive media narratives in the post election discussion. Each of these metrices have a different impact on Washington DC:

The scope of the collective vote is what will provide Donald Trump with the mandate to defeat ballot fraud and push YOUR common sense reforms in Washington DC. EVERY VOTE COUNTS.
♦ Do not be discouraged by media. Tune out the noise. Remember, they have corporate interests at stake in this election. The last four years of enlightenment provided by Trump should give us a frame of reference to dismiss their manipulative efforts. Nothing will ever be the same again. The fourth estate has fundamentally destroyed itself and will never recover. Stay away from their toxic lies as they thrash and drown in the sea of their own creation.
♦ Calm yourself and breathe. Before absorbing any information ask yourself if thinking about it provides nourishment or toxicity. If the latter, ignore it. Don’t spread negativity just because you are incapable of retaining your own sensibility or confidence.
♦ The media are notoriously predictable with exit polling, take all exit polling with a grain of salt. You will not see the CTH promote it. Just like “media polling” exit polling inherently carries the ideological bias of the outlet delivering the results. Exit polls are used by media to frame a narrative for their broadcasts; nothing more.
♦ Anticipate election day “gaslighting” from the same media. If a state result is close and Biden is leading, they will likely call it for him. Conversely if Trump is leading a close result they will delay any calls benefiting him. The MSM intended objectives for doing this are just as obvious as they were in 2016, and then again with the 2020 democrat primary contest. The media attempt to influence turnout in time zones by their method of calling races with earlier polling closes. When you know their techniques, you inoculate yourself from their manipulation.
♦ At approximately 5:00pm CTH will open “Election Results Discussion Threads” with links to some of the more user-friendly polling aggregates so you can check on status updates and discuss election results as they come in. There will be multiple Election night threads sequentially numbered.

Flashback–4 years ago they told us that Hillary had won in a landslide. The real fun of that election was when the sheeple realized that they had been lied to repeatedly. Yuuuuuugely.
One might have thought that these same sheeple would have learned a lesson from all this. One would be wrong. Like the rats, they continue to follow the melodius strains of defeat from the Democrat Pied Pipers of the media, even though the proof that the leaders are only out for their own self-aggrandizement and their actions visibly show that there is nothing being done for the citizenry by this group. Like the rats, they don’t question them about what Socialism really means for themselves. Like the rats, they will march in lock-step to whatever fate the leadership mandates. Like the rats, they have complete faith in their leaders (no matter what). This story has played out before only not in the USA. This same story played out less than a century ago in Germany. The DNC doesn’t have one leader taking the role as Hitler, at least not visibly. It matters not to the rats. Their fate will be like that of the Jews massacred in the concentration camps.
If only people would look at what has taken place at the upper levels of government the past four years. Compare what President has accomplished for the American people versus compared to what the Deep State has tried to accomplish for themselves (notice Deep State, not Democrats since some of the worst offenders in the quest to cover the illegalities have been RepubliCONS as well). When this election is in the books and President Trump is inaugurated again, his new cabinet can go about the task of cleaning up the government swamp first. The RED WAVE needs to overtake the Swamp and wash away the stench of corruption from all involved, without regard to party. Then the draining needs to take place, sunlight needs to overwash the swamp and the stench needs to be removed and replaced with honesty, loyalty, fidelity and integrity. If this means dismantling agencies, then call on us–we’ll bring our sledgehammers and pry bars to help. All we ask is that the government that we fund have our interests at heart, not theirs. No more vote buying. No more family payoffs. No more power grabs. The greatness of America that we would like to see is a return to the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights. Call us deplorables or chumps or whatever you want but call us AMERICANS and thus, give us back our freedom of religion, our freedom to worship as we choose without having someone else’s religion forced on us or, worse yet, having our right to worship taken from us. President Trump is going to be reelected. Either way, he will be reelected. It will be done the easy way or the hard way, but either way he will be the President for the next four years.
Ask yourself honestly, is there any way sleepy Joe wins without massive fraud? No! For this reason, I am not fearful of theft because it will not be tolerated by the Deplorables. Ask yourself, do all the Deplorables you see in all the Rallies, Boat parades, Car parades, Motorcycle parades, etc look like the type of Americans who will allow someone stealing from them?
Easy Way: President Trump is hoping to win the easy way, by such a large margin there is no challenging it. That’s why he is asking everyone to get out and vote. Win Yuge and put the election quickly in the rear view mirror so his administration can continue the MAGA momentum.
Hard Way: If he wins, but not by a large margin, his win is succeptable to being challenged (not overturned, but challenged). That will take time and energy out of his MAGA Agenda. I honestly believe the whole challenge plan by the Dems is simply to delegitimize his win, slow him down and tamp down the momentum.

I really am surprised there isn’t much hope among Republicans of flipping the House red. The simple fact is if Pres. Trump win he will have some coattails in the House elections. It just a matter of how big. We only need to flip 20 seats. 2018 was a treasonous election where Speaker Paul Ryan encouraged a large number of veteran Republicans to not seek re-election. This isn’t the case now. Also Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats in the House are not popular. They impeached the President and they blocked COVID relief. Given that Pres. Trump wins I would expect a greater than 50% chance of the House flipping red. In the Senate we will keep at least 52 seats.
I’m in IL & have tried to four times to contact Republicans in Madison County to volunteer for election day. I haven’t gotten a call back. This isn’t a Republican election. This is a Trump election.
I wish the Republican Party wasn’t contaminated with rinos. They are jsut snooty virtue-signalling democrats with collared shirts, no different from a democrat. They dont want Trump to get his agenda accomplished. I hope they know it’s too late for them.

We voted early in person last week. Our son voted early this morning. He said he was in the middle of the pack and there were 500-600 in line. We’re in a town of maybe 10000 people in Michigan.

You caused a troubling think to lodge in my feeble brain, though – Governors may become very important now. Warner could very well be indicted next year, and the evidence is there to convict. I don’t think Gov. Blackface is up for re-election this year, right? So, replacement time for Warner….. And there are many other Congresscritters in the same boat. If PDJT truly gets the right people in place, there could be a bloodbath in Congress. So governers become wery, wery important, to quote Elmer!

Poll Volunteers and Observers. I have been on the “Turnout Turnout Turnout” train, saying little about the race to voters except, “Anyone you know, get them to the polls. The race is that tight.” But the indications I have seen point to a crushing victory for Trump.
Remember the overall picture. Biden is a vegetable, he doesn’t draw flies. Except in the bluest states, you’re not seeing a heavy Democrat turnout in early voting, and I’m not seeing it in my state of NC.
Stay cool and confident. Be a good actor: hit your marks, memorize your lines. There is a lot of nervous energy out there. In my view it’s better to do too little than too much. Cover your ass.
Maintain good order at the polling sites, try to maintain a genial environment with the Democrats on site. It will be a long day. If problems break out, your mission may be to take a punch and go down. Try to get video. Be a credible witness.
Somebody at each site needs to send hourly situation reports to the GOP chair or designated aid, regarding amount of turnout, flyers remaining, estimate of how much longer they will last. Work the lines, be polite. Watch out for trouble, and address it quickly. It may come from your own younger volunteers. Let’s roll.
You make very good points. Other than some really dyed in the wool Dems most of the Dems (true moderates, not the liberals) I am surrounded by here in Central CT are not very enthused to even vote- between Biden and Hayes there is not much fanfare.
I think a lot stay at home. My wife is an Independent liberal. She’s only voting because of the Hayes issue…she hates her. As I mentioned below, I think she’s pulling for Trump. She’s never ever ever ever voted for an R President. Not once in her life. The one time she didn’t vote for Obama (2nd term) she just stayed home. She said she can’t stay home this time because the last time the guy she didnt’ like still won.
I hope your governor is soundly defeated. He appears to be in lockstep with Cuomo, except maybe not as quick to open things up. His time has come and gone. Hope he doesn’t experience too much pain when he’s run over by the Trump train!

People want freed from the chains of socialism- Africa, Europe- especially the eastern block, and even in the UK. Definitely in Canada. Look at the international rally’s Trump has garnered. The world is watching, the U.S. is not the only country being bought and paid for by the Chinese.

As bad as a loss of the White House would be, the loss of both Houses of Congress and a Trump victory would be just as bad. They’d impeach and convict him for sure …
Well of course losing House and Senate would be greatly problematic for the MAGA agenda. However even if President Trump was again impeached it’s highly unlikely he’d be convicted in the Senate. After all, you do recall it requires a 2/3 majority to convict, a very high bar to surpass. Anyway, I believe Republicans will retain control of the Senate, and may even retake the House.

Unless your state specifically allows it, and you know it to be an absolute fact — do not wear your MAGA gear to the polls. Otherwise you may stand in a long line and then be denied your right to vote because your clothing is deemed “electioneering.”

Yes, for those of us in CT:
No electioneering is permitted at the polling sites unless positioned in a pre-approved area at each polling place.
You CANNOT wear any paraphernalia or clothing that advertises for a POLITICIAN specifically. This includes hats, buttons, stickers, etc. Just don’t wear or have anything on you with a candidate’s name on it.
You CAN wear slogans and other generic banter such as: MAGA, Back the Blue, BLM, etc.
Today is the first step to defending our country. I know we got this.
P.S.:
I don’t weary anything but my Buckeye or Browns gear to the polls. Being in CT it’s a distraction and people don’t bother asking me about candidates.
I also don’t answer exit polling questions. I tell them to bugger off but in more of sailor fashion and language that I perfected while in the Navy.
jc, what is more “electioneering” than letting people take in a “cheat sheet” preprinted copy of the ballot to know who to vote for? Why is this allowed? We see it all the time.
I used to take in a sheet that my union printed out , telling us plebes who to vote for. I did not know every thing about all the propositions and judges etc. However, I always used it to vote “against” whoever or whatever way the union suggested I vote and so knew I’d done the right thing.

It’s 530 am here in CT, Central CT. I will be headed to the polls with my wife and son. My other son’s ballot will be turned in at city hall (he’s in RI for college). I know two straight red tickets that will happen in an hour or so. My wife…well, she’s a liberal….she last night said she still doesn’t know, which too me means she’s voting for Trump.The rest of the ticket, I don’t know. But as long as she votes for Trump. The rest of the ballot in CT is just extra. Just need to get the votes.
