I dislike these ethnic heritage months. All they do is encourage division among us. Instead, what about an all-inclusive American heritage month? Celebrate everybody who makes this unified nation great. When I was a kid in elementary school, I remember our school throwing a culture festival like that. Kids brought in ethnic food, wore traditional clothes, played us some of their country’s music, that sort of thing. It was cool. It was my first experience with the blessing that is the Polish pierogi, too.
Well, Ginger’s have two days during the year…January 12-Kiss a Gnger Day…and….November 5th, National Redhead Day.
No need for special outfits, we ‘wear’ it all year long…until ‘Mother Nature’ intervenes….LOL
