In a series of messages from his Truth Social account, President Trump notes IRGC officials continue to fire weapons into the Strait of Hormuz in an effort to disrupt commercial shipping lanes.
The leadership of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps are in a zero-sum status. Any change to the power structure of the country will likely mean the end to their power, life and status. The IRGC will not accept any terms and consistently portray themselves as martyrs for the regime.
The U.S. blockade of Iranian ports and shipping is creating a serious economic problem for the regime in Tehran, and the IRGC is trying to stop the situation of commercial vessel transit for anyone except Iran. (VIA Politico) – “Iran’s Supreme National Security Council issued a statement calling the blockade a violation of the ceasefire and said Iran would prevent “any conditional and limited reopening” of the strait.”
PRESIDENT TRUMP – “Iran decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz — A Total Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement! Many of them were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasn’t nice, was it? My Representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan — They will be there tomorrow evening, for Negotiations. Iran recently announced that they were closing the Strait, which is strange, because our BLOCKADE has already closed it. They’re helping us without knowing, and they are the ones that lose with the closed passage, $500 Million Dollars a day! The United States loses nothing. In fact, many Ships are headed, right now, to the U.S., Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska, to load up, compliments of the IRGC, always wanting to be “the tough guy!” We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years. IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END!” ~ President DONALD J. TRUMP
PRESIDENT TRUMP – “Today, an Iranian-flagged cargo ship named TOUSKA, nearly 900 feet long and weighing almost as much as an aircraft carrier, tried to get past our Naval Blockade, and it did not go well for them. The U.S. Navy Guided Missile Destroyer USS SPRUANCE intercepted the TOUSKA in the Gulf of Oman, and gave them fair warning to stop. The Iranian crew refused to listen, so our Navy ship stopped them right in their tracks by blowing a hole in the engineroom. Right now, U.S. Marines have custody of the vessel. The TOUSKA is under U.S. Treasury Sanctions because of their prior history of illegal activity. We have full custody of the ship, and are seeing what’s on board!” ~ President DONALD J. TRUMP
The Touska might make a nice artificial reef somewhere?
About the killing stopping…someone asked, earlier today if anyone knew if the female protestor had been executed…a brief AI search said that the ‘execution date’ had not been set/ or carried out.
Am thinking that a wise move might be to change the sentences to something of a far more humanitarian nature…we can hope and pray.
The Regime won’t allow the women protestors, of whom I believe there are four in custody, to die a virgin. According to several outlets, the Revolutionary Guard is raping them repeatedly, before execution to die in disgrace.
thats why, in the end, there needs to troops on the ground.kill every one of these barbarians.
three holes.
It sure seems like a hammer, somehow, needs to be dropped. Far be it from my walnut-sized brain to know how to drop it, but it needs dropping.
Ya think?
BS, (you don’t mind me calling you BS do you?(we’re all friends here). Besides, I’m one of likely only ten people who knows what your stage name means.
Don’t feel bad about Ray’s short reply; he’s just trying to be cute which is an inner rhyme with rude (the ‘U’ Ray; that’s the inner rhyme Ray).
Yes BS, the Iranians need a hammer dropped a KO punch, not a TKO, but a Mike Tyson punch in the face. Iran had a plan until they were punched in the face.
I think it should be slow motion though… one power plant and one bridge per night until the Iranians agree to all of Trump’s terms.
That way, the 90 million prisoners of the regime don’t all suffer because of the regime.
They’ll never agree to anything. You assume they’re rational actors, they’re not.
That’s why all negotiations with them have failed. That’s why they always negotiate in bad faith. They are religious zealots who took the rest of the Iranian population hostage.
They could’ve taken the deal, kept selling oil, stopped terrorizing everyone, and lived a reasonably stable life like the UAE, Kuwait, or even Saudi Arabia.
You cannot negotiate with Muslims. They are liars, and their ideology (not religion) commands them to lie. The only way to resolve this conflict is by annihilating the Muslims in charge of Iran, in other words, the Iranian National Guard and their civilian allies. Talking with would-be successors to the Ayatollahs is a waste of time. If the IRGC is not completely eliminated, this conflict cannot be resolved successfully.
I wasn’t expecting this conflict to occur during this second Trump Administration, but since it has, I back my President – and only hope that he stops trying to make deals with these Muslims and just finishes them off. Do whatever you have to do to eliminate these bastards, right now, and then everyone can move on.
This isn’t going to stop until the IRGC, as the late great Rush Limbaugh would say, assumes room temperature.
At some point soon, I expect the US Marines to invade, capture, and take control of Kharg Island. When that happens, it’s time for the first line of the tune made famous by Willie Nelson, and repeated by Don Meredith on Monday Night football, “Turn out the light, sweet darlin’, the party is over.”
Absolutely no need to do that. Kharg is neutered just by the blockade. If more needs to be done, eliminate all electrical power transmission lines to it from the mainland.
Not much need to rush or take the terminal.
Wait another week or so and their oil storage will be full. Once that happens they will have to shutdown oil wells for want of storage. When that happens future production after a restart of those same wells will be permanently crippled limiting future extraction and thus revenue.
I’ve been called a traitor, even labeled a Democrat, for predicting this outcome.
The problem is that no one takes his rhetorical threats seriously anymore. One moment it’s ‘total destruction,’ ‘civilization-level devastation,’ and the next, he goes ‘ah, maybe I won’t this time because they asked me nicely.’
It’s like pulling a gun on someone in a biker bar and then saying, ‘I’ll give you another chance — maybe tomorrow.’ It turns into a comedy routine.
Since when has anyone in human history won a war by making constant, exaggerated threats and then quietly backing away from them?
You don’t point a gun at someone unless you intend to use it. That’s how it always worked.
One dimensional negotiators like you are a dime a dozen. Always easy to spot. mislead and outmaneuver. Even in the schoolyard.
Again, get it through your thick skull — Iran isn’t a country like France, Germany, Russia, or even China. It’s a terrorist regime structured to survive our Western stupidity in treating it as if it were a normal state. It’s organized more like a terrorist network, bound to a single ideology, not a conventional country.
They don’t respond to incentives the way normal, rational actors do.
That’s why negotiations fail. You can’t bargain with someone who believes compromise with you is immoral.
its not going to survive shit.
I won’t call you a traitor. I will call you ignorant 😎
Last June Trump gave Iran a couple weeks to deal. They refused. Midnight Hammer.o
Couple months ago Trump begged Iran to deal. They refused. Epic Fury.
Now Trump is agin begging Iran to capitulate on nukes and uranium and the Strait. Some in Iran look like they want to deal. But the IRCG does not. If the ones who want to deal can’t — or won’t — get control of the IRCG, then Iran is going to lose the ability to have a functioning economy as their oil, electric, and transportation infrastructure is going to be destroyed.
Trump is trying to win WITHOUT having to destroy everything. But he is perfectly willing to wreak destruction if the evil fanatics won’t surrender.
Contrast with Russia’s SMO to liberate the 5 oblasts.
Just look at Gaza. Hamas is already rearming and regrouping. I remember Trump making the same kind of threats he’s making now, and here we are.
You can’t negotiate with terrorists. And this regime is a terrorist regime. They don’t negotiate in good faith. They don’t honor agreements. They use negotiations to buy time, regroup, and rearm. That’s the pattern.
But most importantly, they’re not afraid to die for their cause. They’re religious zealots. We’re not dealing with rational actors here.
This isn’t two real estate guys in New York or Chicago trying to squeeze out a better deal.
The difference here is that the ones currently in power have to simultaneously suppress a native population of some 90+ million and still manage to resist external forces. They don’t have enough resources to do both for any considerable length of time. Not after all the military assets destroyed by the US and Israel prior to the ceasefire.
Question is, for the common Iranian (or maybe I should call them Persian) what better opportunity do they have to free themselves of such cruel oppressors?
All military assets destroyed? Not even close. They’ve lost maybe 30% of their capabilities. The IRGC is organized like a network of terrorist cells. You eliminate one, and there are ten more behind it. That’s why you can kill a hundred more IRGC commanders, and they’ll be replaced in less than 24 hours. It’s not about quality or IQ. They’re all easily replaceable.
That’s something the West doesn’t seem to understand. The IRGC is not a conventional military. Their so-called government is a puppet show. The religious zealots will never agree to any “deal” because a compromise with unbelievers is “immoral” and against “Allah’s will.”
You seem to be missing the point. Those loyal to the regime are outnumbered by the rest.
They have to defend against everything and be successful every single time. Their opponents only need to win a handful of those occasions to end them.
They’ve been outnumbered for the past what five decades… Iranians are a peaceful people. As long as they have running water, electricity, and enough food to get by, they won’t risk being shot in the streets by these religious nutjobs.
How do you explain locals painting targets for drones to hit in recent weeks prior to the ceasefire?
Basij militia and IRGC could not muster in numbers to man roadblocks or other without locals noticing and purposely giving their positions away to the eyes in the sky.
The locals are not stupid. They know we are watching.
Boring.
Tedious.
Enjoy $4,00+ at the pump in an election year.
Maybe if you take a few deep breaths and close your eyes for a few minutes you’ll feel better.
you must be kidding.
Look at the result.
what result? pull a gun? we have flattened the effing place.
When dealing with crazy people (Hitler/Khomeini) you must keep them off balance, as they think they have everything under control… Chamberlain was one dimensional and focused on “peace on a piece of paper” and held no cards…
Hitler just laughed… and lied and invaded Poland….
By the way, if you still can’t predict Trump’s “unpredictability” by now, you shouldn’t be talking about one-dimensional thinking.
This is a ridiculous and inaccurate statement. No one on planet earth ever predicted Trump would go in and capture Maduro, and no one ever expected Trump to actually attack Iran.
Big fail here. Iran will never survive this blockade. Trump doesn’t have to do anything but continue to bleed the crazies.
CENTCOM tweet with video of the US Navy stopping the Iranian cargo ship with 3 shots to its engine room.
Guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) intercepted M/V Touska as it transited the north Arabian Sea at 17 knots enroute to Bandar Abbas, Iran. American forces issued multiple warnings and informed the Iranian-flagged vessel it was in violation of the U.S. blockade.
After Touska’s crew failed to comply with repeated warnings over a six-hour period, Spruance directed the vessel to evacuate its engine room. Spruance disabled Touska’s propulsion by firing several rounds from the destroyer’s 5-inch MK 45 Gun into Touska’s engine room. U.S. Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit later boarded the non-compliant vessel, which remains in U.S. custody.

How does the Touska now navigate? Is it adrift?
who cares?
Negotiating with Iran is like negotiating with the Black Knight………………………………
…or Obama…
monty python.
In my opinion, the reason it’s a mess is because the people he is negotiating with DO NOT control most of the remnants of the IRGC. Simple as that.
Pressure on those we are talking to needs to be massive: either they get control OR they tell us where the remaining IRGC leaders are so we can eliminate them.
By design. Iran is not a country and IRGC is not a conventional military. It’s a network of terrorist cells.
This is some real Art of the Deal stuff here.
What’s the definition of insanity again?
I’m sure some “lucky” folks will be making a $ billion+ this week playing the oil futures game.
Oh, heck. I hope it is all investigated at some point.
While everyone else’s paying ~$4.00 at the pump.
$4.00 a gallon gas for a time is nothing if it is to be the cost for freeing 90 million people from the mullahs and IRGC.
Freeing the world from a rabid regime.
Best observation in this entire comments thread!
You still here, stupid? You’re a low-grade troll, with little talent. You have a few sock puppets, but your content is unoriginal and boring. You have zero effect here, and I predict you’re on borrowed time. Go play the oil futures game and let the adults handle global reality.
When the strategic oil reserves run dry, we are all going to fry. Time has come today. Give your heads a shake before it is too late. Seriously.
Wait, I thought windmills and solar panels are all the world needs? That’s what Gavin Newsom and AOC tell us. Just stop eating hamburgers because… cow farts.
You do realize we don’t need any oil from the ME, right?
Did you also know the US is the largest producer of oil and natural gas?
We don’t need anyone for oil or energy. We produce more than anyone in the world. Stop listening to propaganda.
Iran is not continuing the military operations and hasn’t from the start it’s China and been China from the beginning.
China is the biggest loser and in the most pain from the conflict and they can operate systems from China and have absolutely no problem Killing Americans be it fentanyl or military equipment.
we have lost people in one place. china can’t do shit either. i have no doubt that we will lose more people. when this is over the world will be a better place. thank God.
To all the TACO folks, Trump clearly doesn’t like to kill innocents. All other presidents who have launched attacks had no issues taking out dual-use infrastructure. Trump is the only one who hasn’t. It’s amazing they’ve decimated Iran at the level they have without destroying these things.
With that said, he’s giving Iran and the IRGC every chance to make a deal. He doesn’t want to do anything that will cause widespread suffering to the average Iranian. I think he’s running out of options and time though and the next step is complete obliteration. Honestly, I think Iran’s plan is to drag this out as long as they can to get to the midterms. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve had back channel conversations with leading Democrats, getting advise from them.
count on it.
He never had too many options. If you understand Iran and understand the IRGC, you understand why.
Iran is not a country. Their clergy are devout Muslim zealots who will never yield. That is why negotiations fail. You cannot bargain with someone who believes compromise with you is immoral and against their version of god.
The IRGC is not a conventional military, they are organized like a terrorist network. Like rats: you hit them, and they scurry. Then reappear somewhere else.
I love my President….
NO MERCY!
Well said, totally agree.
I’m still looking forward to bridge and power plant day!
The worst part is this: the Chinese and the Russians are watching our next move. That’s why destroying Iran’s infrastructure is the only option at this point.
Every day Trump hesitates and rants on social media, he’s emboldening them. China will get its oil and gas from Russia if it can’t get it from Iran. It’ll buy from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, and Qatar.
Both the Russians and the Chinese understand that negotiations with the radical Muslim regime will fail. They understand Iran negotiates in bad faith.
Me Too!
No, we obviously didn’t. We did some serious damage, but the regime survived. They retained their capabilities to launch missiles and control the street.
You can declare the war is over, but that’s what it is — a declaration. It’s meaningless if the enemy is not defeated.
Wait you mean a radical Islamic middle eastern country is acting extremely irrational? Notably after they were attacked by their two most hated countries that openly shared images of the death of their leader? So was it Netanyahu that convinced President Trump this would be easy?
I’m pretty sure it’s clear to Trump that a country enriching uranium to weapons grade isn’t doing it to heat swimming pools or save the environment…
Unfortunately, some people like you, Tucker et. al have deluded themselves into believing that a nuclear weapon only works on Israelis — which they don’t actually mind seeing in action — and that we’re somehow immune to that threat.
I especially liked the part about the US Navy blowing a hole in the engine room of the Iranian ship that refused to honor the blockade. lol. I bet they really enjoy their job sometimes.
On this glorious 4/19 251st anniversary of Patriots Day and “The Shot heard ’round the World”, I celebrate that we have Donald J Trump for POTUS ! None of the other pearl-clutching Unitards in government would ever lead an effort as boldly as this. And we have certainly seen what hapless cowards and backstabbers the NATO “allies” are. I like it that President Trump’s administration means business. I especially like General “Raisin’ Caine.”
I realize President Trump has to play politics with all the America-hating swamp creatures in our government, but I hope he will soon come to the conclusion that it is impossible to negotiate with this Iranian regime, that he will carry on with the war despite their hand-wringing, and that he WON’T STOP until this brutal regime is A MEMORY. No one else is EVER going to do this. Even if the Iranians behave themselves until Trump is out of office, this is going to start all over again as soon as he’s gone. Next time we are likely to have another weak-kneed Unitard in office at best. Or worse, it could be another Islamic terrorist supporter like Obama. And sure as shooting, the Iranians will soon have another nuclear weapons program.
Presidents like Donald Trump don’t come along very often. In fact I would say it’s once in a lifetime. We are so Blessed! President Trump has what it takes to make a difference for future generations here, so I hope he will utilize this opportunity to eliminate the Iranian threat, which is on a silver platter for us right now. May God Bless President Trump and may He guide him with His wisdom and strength! May God Bless and Protect America and all Her Patriots. Happy Patriot’s Day to all!
President Trump had to give the IRGC one last chance, he is a man of peace.
Now the picture is clear as to whom me he is dealing with. The previous negotiations were with the Iranian Government officials, hence President Trump’s insistence that there was a Regime change. Now it is clear as to which entity is in charge. It is not the civilian entity, it is the military arm of government, IRGC, and they are not interested in a settlement, only in the defeat of the U.S. This has been their calling for many years.
President Trump now has his answer, it is just a question of how he reacts.
Tousi.TV is a good source as what is going on in Iran.
The negotiations aren’t for the Iranians. The ceasefire isn’t for the Iranians. They are for world consumption. By breaking the ceasefire and firing on ships, the Iranians demonstrated what President Trump already knew, that they could not be trusted to keep their word or negotiate in good faith. Now, President Trump has the defensible go-ahead to bomb the hell outta them. The Iranians will never surrender or back down. But they had to prove themselves totally untrustworthy before we destroyed them. Otherwise, we look unreasonable and imperialistic. That the Iranians couldn’t even keep a ceasefire also proves President Trump’s point that they are crazy enough to use nuclear weapons if they ever get them. They took the bait and exposed themselves.
…because they always negotiated in good faith before and didn’t try to enrich uranium to weapons grade so brazenly that even the UN—a hostile, Muslim-infested body—couldn’t deny it.
Yup, that must be it.
So what’s the story with you? You an Iranian fan-boy or what? Because you sound like one.
…always negotiated in good faith?
Who is this? Scott Ridder?
I guarantee you if they could enrich to weapons grade, they would have several nuclear weapons already..
I tend to look at it more as: (eta, I agree with you)
President Trump is forcing a constitution of responsible workable leadership that can take control of the Iran away from the IRGC, and it takes time to get the layers of people in place in control, across a very large landmass with complex geography and tribal factions.
He is not going to leave a mess like Iraq became, let alone Afghanistan, and he is going to remove the dust.
I am inclined to think the “bridges and power plants” is a decoy. Watch this hand, not the other. Set the bait.
Iranian killing machine needs to be destroyed. These are not rational people and the concept of prosperity with compromise is alien to them. Maybe if their entire clans were threatened, they may be deterred but that requires getting into unconventional warfare. Better to fight fair and destroy the bad actors completely. Every last one of them.
Whatever it takes. That should always be our guiding principle, in any area.
