Six months ago, I was asked my opinion of the Silicon Valley alignment with MAGA. I said at the time I thought it would last around 18 months and finally climax with a large fracture in the political movement around 2026. I had no idea at the time, the group of technocrats would begin publicly advocating for replacing American workers before Trump took office.
For the past several days I have watched Vivek Ramaswamy, David Sacks, Elon Musk and his big tech influencers debating with their followers about the importance for them to continue expanding H-1b visas for foreign tech workers. It is stunning to see this crew double, triple and quadruple down on advocacy, while defining American workers as inadequate for their Silicon Valley needs.
Alas, it is what it is. Within the argument Musk, Ramaswamy, Sacks and group have presented multiple justifications for their foreign worker assistance programs, while advocating for expanded immigration support therein.
Within the tone of their argument, they essentially say the American worker is (1) not intellectual enough; (2) doesn’t have the right work ethic; and the latest point of justification is that (3) American culture is to blame for their need to import foreign workers.
As Vivek Ramaswamy recently said, “Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG.” Thus, as the narrative is sold, American workers need to be replaced with more culturally appropriate Indian tech workers.
When the Indian-American starts saying Indian culture is more adequate at creating workers for the American tech industry, he loses me completely.
If the Indian culture is the holy grail breeding ground for software engineers, then why isn’t New Delhi replacing Silicon Valley?
Considering that factually the Indian culture is entirely based on a caste system, the argument is even more absurd.
What we need are training and recruitment centers for American students. However, the larger issue within the billionaire tech team advocacy is an issue of self-interest.
What we see in the justifications and arguments of the Ramaswamy, Musk and Sacks group is a very specific point of immigration policy for their subset within a singular sector of the American economy. Perhaps this would not be such a big issue, if these points of advocacy were coming from outside government interest groups. However, with this tech team going into the administration, the influence becomes something a little bigger.
The part the Tech Group do not understand is the core of the American DNA, “Liberty“…
It is only from the position of liberty, intellectualism actualized in freedom form, that the working culture of America, the ingenuity part, can be understood.
If you attempt to quantify Americanism with math and algorithms, the translated outcome always fails.
Dear Vivek Ramaswamy, my counter take…
Several years ago, Florida Power and Light won the prestigious international Edward Demming Award for excellence in multi-platform engineering, efficiency superiority and total quality in the process of energy management.
However, the scruffy rednecks did not blow every PhD intellectual out of the water with slide rules, CAD programs, articulated and quantified quality improvement processes and engineering acumen. They did it with hard hats and dirty fingernails.
Because they lost the award, the jaw-agape Japanese spent 6 months visiting and reviewing FPL and later published a 1,000-page study essentially saying FPL “wasn’t really good, they were just lucky.”
You see, the reviewers couldn’t actually quantify the reason why the Florida-based energy company was so successful. In response the FPL field leadership laughed, took out magic markers and wrote on the back of their hard hats: “WE’RE NOT GOOD, WE’RE RUCKY.”
A few years later, every single Kuwaiti oil field was blown up by Saddam Hussein. Global analysts and think-tanks proclaimed it would take 5 years to cap them all off and restart the Kuwait oil pumping industry. Well, the Kuwaiti’s and Saudi’s called Texans, who had them all capped and back in working order in 6 months.
We are a nation that knows how to get shit done.
A few more years pass, and the Northern Chile mine workers were trapped two miles underground. The eyes of the world began to tear as the word spread. Most began to whisper no one could save them. Who did they call for help? A bunch of hick miners from USA coal country who went down there, worked on the fly, engineered the rescue equipment on site, and saved every one of them.
Yup, that’s our America. Ingenuity born from freedom.
Across the pond a half-breed Islamic whack job, armed with an AK-47 and a goal to meet his virgins, began opening fire on a train in France. The scruffneck Americans on board didn’t run to the nearest safe room and hide themselves amid baguettes and brie. They said, “let’s go”, and beat the stuffing out of that little nut with a death wish.
Legion d’Honneur or not, that’s us. WE ARE AMERICANS! That’s just how we roll.
In fact, Lady Liberty can stroll along the Champs-Elysées with a swagger befitting Mae West because without her arrival, they’d be speaking German in the Louvre. Yet, for the better part of the past decade, a group of intellectual leftists have been teaching our children that it’s better to be sitting around a campfire eating sustainable algae cakes and picking parasites off each other; because ‘save the planet’, or something similarly minded. It would appear, they hate the outcomes and inequities from freedom.
Warmest regards,
Americans First!
My BEST advice to @elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy @DavidSacks and the Silicon Valley tech elites, is to keep talking. Just keep telling Americans how terrible they are and how they need to be replaced. Great Job.
Every time you guys open your typeset in public, @LauraLoomer grows a…

That report is worth reading. ElonMusk & PeterThiel were deep state actors for quite awhile before now.
Obviously Musk is deep state, due to MIC ties and green-energy industries, but, net-positive: he saved free speech. No red teamer came even close, or even cared enough to fight hard for it.
This. In 2016 I said if Trump does only one thing, it’s get a Supreme Court appointee. And he did, and it’s made a huge difference.
Musk restoring free speech to Twitter/X is such a singular achievement in my opinion, he never has to do another thing as long as he lives to prove his bona fides to me. I wholeheartedly believe that Trump never would have won 2024 if it weren’t for Musk buying Twitter and his support of Trump.
Never trusted Ramaswamy and have said so here several times over past months. He should show us India’s cultural superiority, and improve both America and India, by going there, starting a tech company, and kicking our asses with local talent.
Or not.
His mask slipped and he showed who he was. High caste Indians think they are superior to Americans. It bleeds through in their everyday behaviour, and in their words, even when they should know better. I see this routinely here where I live.
Great response, SD!!
Tech Bros be like, “Who’s Mae West?”
Ask Elon, David Sachs, Alex Karp, Marc Andreessen and 95% of the other Tech Bros who they voted for in 2020. That’s all I need to know. Trump needs to put them their lane and keep them there or cut ties. The smell of coup is getting really strong suddenly.
Laura Loomer has been doing battle the Tech Bros for 72 hours and she’s kicking ass. I’m normally not a yuge Laura advocate, but on this issue, my flag is planted firmly in her camp.
It’s time for PDJT to counsel Elon and Vivek to “stay in their lanes.”
Elon put up $41 billion to give red teamers an equal voice on social media. His mic is permanent. Vivek, eh. Can’t see him doing the same, though I like him.
He will lose it over this. This is non negotiable to most American office workers.
Keep in mind Musks position on this is the same as it was prior to buying twitter.
A good ole, “school of the boat” rump chewing… Could be next stop for two uber wealthy oligarchs.
Elon Musk is having a mental breakdown and is on spaces and posting on X
Vivek is massively over stepped
Both are done, will be removed from DOGE and Musk will probably lose his businesses
Poll: 60% of Americans Says U.S. Does Not Need Any More H-1B Visa Workers
Thats quite a claim, mac. Based on what, and by whom?
https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/immigration_index/crosstabs_rasmussen_reports_immigration_index_novermber_25_2024
His source is in his post.
Foolish prediction.
This is foolish. Vivek isn’t wrong and the culture rot has destroyed our media and educational systems. We’re forgetting all those stories of new college grads that turn out being worthless and lazy. Give us opportunities to train and intern and hire based on skill. The faction trying to take down Doge are as bad the worst leftists. Protect Americans and give us equal or better opportunities.
Separate the bad open border immigration from talent seeking legal ways to work here. Didn’t we just have the meritocracy argument?
Loomer will cause a lot more division with MAGA. She is trouble for Trump and has demonstrated it over the past few months. We’ll lose the house in 26 and not turn this country around because of her ilk. Some of her posts were outright vile and racist.
We wouldn’t have won if not for Musk, Sacks, Andreeson and Vivek. They want to fix the root causes of our demise. Some can’t see the big picture. Not everyone is dishonest and corrupt. For Google, Disney, anyone with motives to just save money with many examples of abuse, cut them off from any new h1b hires and fine them into bankruptcy. Pretty easy.
Anything less than mass remigration of low skill workers is a non starter. IMO, you should have no good faith for the other side without realizing what has happened since 1965. A basic problem with US immigration, is since the US is ahistorically “an idea,” our oaths for citizenship basically are performative. Unless there are true citizenship tests, “legal, and illegal” immigration is meaningless.
The H1B visa program certainly doesn’t need to grow bigger since it has been abused almost from the beginning.
I don’t get this Loomer attraction. She’s been around for a fairly long time at this point, and her behavior has been consistently erratic. To the point where, putting aside whether or not I might agree with her on a particular topic, she strikes me as more than a bit nuts most of the time.
How so?
For starters, she came on the scene at the age of 25 having never held an actual job. Now she’s 31 and still has never had a job, living instead (presumably) on what she makes from attracting attention on social media. Essentially, she’s an “influencer” with no discernible qualifications to influence anyone on politics whatsoever.
1.45 Million of her X followers probably disagree. As would her daily podcast listeners.
Actually, I believe she is an investigative journalist. She does an ACTUAL investigative reporting, not stenograhy of the propaganda media. For that, she is called a conspiracy theorist and far right wing activist, racist, nuts, blah blah blah blah.
Erratic is how I would describe Loomer. There is no reason to fight with MTG and others inside the Trump inner circle. She just guarantees negativity towards her and her possible valid points with this attitude.
H1b workers are not more skilled than American workers.
You are correct, this is worth burning down the house for. If Trump can’t make these two behave, then he needs to fire them. NO MORE H1Bs. NONE!!!
Just a reminder Trump won 2016 and 2020 WITHOUT any of the names you mentioned above. I will grant you they helped him get to the “too big to rig” numbers but they do not deserve credit for Trump winning.
.
What is “foolish” is equating “studies” and journalism majors etc. with white boys who, over the past 20 years, have had to have exemplary intellect, grades, test scores, extracurriculars, and work ethic just to get a chance to MAYBE gain admission to a top college in a STEM major, given the admissions criteria.
Notwithstanding that white American boys consistently have been the majority of applicants in these areas, universities have shafted them in favor of increasing their percentages of women, including to half, foreign full-pay students, “POC” candidates of all kinds, and “hardship/sobstory candidates after [most of them] set aside their percentage for mediocre legacy/politician’s kid/celebrity.
Hire a white American boy. And pay him what he’s worth.
.
Last 50 years.
I disagree with some of what Elon and Vivek said. But in essence they are right. We just need to come together and fix the broken immigration issue.
The abuse of corporations of the H1B visa programs MUST STOP. Set up more efficient low grade AGRI visas that change with demand and supply and prioritize hiring Americans FIRST. Create a database in this effort. All corporations above a certain capital level should be required to voluntarily TRAIN AMERICANS to work for them to the tune of hundreds of thousands of folks per year. College degrees helpful but not required.MAKE IT HAPPEN we can fix this. But remember, we are a country not an economy. Some folks have no idea how America became America.
Uhhhh, I am pretty sure that is not at all, not even one bit what Musk or Ramaswamy said. They said Americans are too dumb to make America first in the world despite America being a superpower for centuries.
There’s a constructive approach on all this.
If you cut the H1B visa number in half, you would still get the smartest and best hustlers.
You just would not get the average Indians replacing the average Americans because they
work cheaper.
H1B is basically offshoring in reverse. You are still taking away American jobs.
You can’t successfully fill a job that requires a technical degree with a person that has no relevant education.
There definitely should be a constructive approach — not sure I’m seeing it yet.
I still have “hope” that will happen. Disconcerting to see all the Media chortling about “MAGA WAR”
I think Vivek is talking about MORE than No Child Left Behind – he references the early 90’s.
The age of a Trophy for everyone, California style education and “my child can do no wrong”.
Vivek said this ….
“(Fact: I know *multiple* sets of immigrant parents in the 90s who actively limited how much their kids could watch those TV shows precisely because they promoted mediocrity…and their kids went on to become wildly successful STEM graduates).
More movies like Whiplash, fewer reruns of “Friends.” More math tutoring, fewer sleepovers. More weekend science competitions, fewer Saturday morning cartoons. More books, less TV. More creating, less “chillin.” More extracurriculars, less “hanging out at the mall.”
Most normal American parents look skeptically at “those kinds of parents.” More normal American kids view such “those kinds of kids” with scorn. If you grow up aspiring to normalcy, normalcy is what you will achieve.
Now close your eyes & visualize which families you knew in the 90s (or even now) who raise their kids according to one model versus the other. Be brutally honest.
My kids were “those kids” – They tutored other kids in Math, ran a telephone help line for homework help. Went to State every year in Academic Decathlon, Whiz Kid competitions, Band Practice or Track Practice in the afternoons, dinner as a family EVERY single night, Graduated at the top of their class in a 5 A school. Multi degrees each in Stem subjects and I don’t mean the current list of STEM – “conservation”. That was and IS my “Culture” – it’s also my adult children’s “Culture”.
This all began on December 22, 2024 with a post on X by a Tech Worker Union in protest to President Trump’s announcement of his A.I. Advisor — Shiram Krishna, he has ZERO to do with Immigration.

Congratulations to all!
IF somebody out there want to light up a fire cracker to attack MAGA — they did a darn good job.
I will wait and see and one of the things I did see where the obscene racist attacks on Mr Khrisna on X by Loomer.
I dealt with “Tiger Moms” in the late 80’s. 75% of my chemistry students were Asians. They were “good” students because mom/dad sat on them. Far too many when they went on to college couldn’t handle the freedom away from mom/dad and were in academic trouble after the first year. Don’t assume because mom/dad regulate their lives at home that they will go on to be successful at STEM in college.
I didn’t say anything about “Tiger Moms” – in fact, my experience with a lot of Asians in my city is that it didn’t matter what they kids wanted, the family demanded the kids join their family business. I’m also not an Indian or any other ethnic groups. We were parents that TALKED to each other and instilled in our children a goal for success and hard work.
STEM for our family resulted in 2 BS & 2 MS Mechanical Engineering (father +son) MBA (father), BS Chemisty, BS Biology, MS Education , MS Education Technology + NCAA Champion (that last group was the daughter)
Oddly enough – all gainfully and successfully employed.
Family Culture = No Free Trophy, hard work and a plan for Life is the way to go.
That’s
What exactly did Loomer say that was racist?
.
Here’s the “constructive approach”: if you’re hiring in a STEM field, first look to hire American white boys who have had to be outstanding for years in all ways just to get accepted into and graduate from a top college in these majors.
Here’s more: bring back standardized tests, stop admitting and hiring based on affirmative action/DEI, and cut way down on foreign admissions to U.S. colleges.
.
white genocide is fine as long as it’s legal?
no one beyond child bearing age or who does not pay taxes has any say in this. none.
What?
Love your comment! Agree 100 percent.
Elon and Vivek are on our side. We can work with them.
Elon banning folks for speech is not a good look though.
Still.
We need to push these RINO senators to confirm Trump’s nominations. ALL OF THEM.
And if not, we will make sure that they are primaried. And Trump will appoint them anyway either via recess appt or via the Constitution.
Bottom line, MAGA will get what it wants.
I think Elon is on Elon’s side. I suspect the purpose of ensuring Trump won was precisely for this reason: H-1Bs.
Corrects Elon did not ensure that Trump won. Elon came on board after the assassination attempt – 3 months out from the election. He saw who the victor would be and got on board. Elon wants to ensure his government contracts.
“America first”= Americans first! If there are truly exceptional others from outside our nation who want to join the team, let them try out and prove her worth with an O-1 Visa. granted to those “who possess extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics.” Karl Denninger over at the Ticker today explains the distinction and reveals the scam that too often is the H-1B. Worth a look .
Until 1965 and Ted Kennedy along with enabling Republicans and DemocRATS changed our immigration policies, that used to be what we got. The best and even back then there was a limit to the numbers added to our population in order for assimilation to take place instead of the current Balkanisation of our country.
Trump created DOGE to help improve government efficiency. DOGE was not created to engage immigration policy. The appointment of Musk gave him a political stature he did not have. Musk is now abusing that stature to promote his own ideas about immigration policy.
Ramaswamy has always been about Rmaswamy. He’s an opportunistic smooth talker and has quick retorts, that’s it.
Well said.
BOOM! J X, you win!! Best, most succinct, and right on target comment.
I get lucky now and then 😉
You know what Jx, that last comment was more succinct than your first post! 🙂
Love it.
“. . . . Immigration policy cannot be driven by corporations. It cannot be driven by titans of industry.
“Immigration policy, rather, must be driven by the tangible interests of the forgotten men and women of this great country — the “bitter” clingers of Barack Obama’s scorn, the “deplorables” of Hillary Clinton’s ire. To continue our post-Immigration and Nationality Act experiment in mass importation — and, therefore, mass cultural disruption — in the name of “economic efficiency” or beefing up in our Great Power competition with China is to bite off the nose to spite the face.
“Immigration isn’t just a side issue for MAGA and Trump’s Republican Party. It is the issue. There is no MAGA without a restoration of immigration sanity.
“In fact, it’s time for an immigration moratorium. Now.”
They defied the odds — but is MAGA imploding?
—Josh Hammer, JWR
http://jewishworldreview.com/1224/hammer122724.php
Economics 101 teaches us that the last marginal unit of additional labor should be the most expensive unit of labor. In the past, H1B workers have been imported not because there is a labor shortage but because they are cheaper and can be used to displace American workers. I don’t want to see American companies suffering from skilled labor shortages but I don’t want to see American STEM workers shafted or discouraged from entering STEM fields. If there is really, actually a labor shortage then the imported labor should cost more than our domestic workers. I think H1B visas should be unlimited, but the companies bringing in this labor should be taxed in a manner that makes their total payroll cost for H1B labor at least 50% more expensive then for American workers. The taxes could be directed towards our bankrupt Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds. This would create a strong incentive to hire our citizens but would also prevent labor shortages and give our companies access to the best talent in the world. That talent would rightly cost them extra.
I agree, but I hate to break it to you, there are no “trust funds.” The “funds” have been borrowed against other government spending. DOGE is sorely needed. Government spending is higher than ever. IMO, corporate income taxes should be repealed in favor of equivalent capital gains. Too much fudge with “company accounts.”
Anyone remembering the name Trump gave Vivek while running for POTUS? R A M A S W A M P Y.
Some other thoughts ( stolen…..).
Was the H1-B visa issue a purposeful narrative deployment?
Timeline:
Biden changes H1-B visa rules. He stated that the purpose was to hamstring Trump from making changes to the system when he becomes president.
That’s key.
Vivek makes a comment on the degrading of American culture and education. Elon gets involved.
All hell breaks loose within the MAGA movement.
The entire country is SUDDENLY focused on the H1-B visa PROBLEM.
The PROBLEM moves from the MAGA media into the MSM. Even 60 minutes does a show on American tech workers who lost their jobs and were forced to train their foreign replacements that were making far less money.
That sure seems to me like “setting the hook.”
Now that this big PROBLEM has gone mainstream, it’s not just MAGA that is outraged.
The entire country is becoming outraged.
Meanwhile, Trump has been completely silent.
Just a coincidence?
Trump hasn’t defended his two picks to be main players in the exposure and removal of government waste, as they are being shredded by some members of MAGA.
Why?
Was this a purposeful narrative deployment?
Who was being constantly attacked by the media and democrats before this issue came up?
The media was attacking Elon before this happened. They were calling him the president and Trump his “lapdog.”
Now, several members of the MAGA movement are implying that they agree with that and that Trump doesn’t know that he’s being used by Elon and his tech bros.
Really?
Maybe this is all purposeful.
Maybe this is yet another trap to set a perfect CONTRAST between Trump and Biden on this H1-B visa PROBLEM.
Maybe Trump wants the American people to be “outraged” about this PROBLEM, so that he can change it with their support.
Maybe this creates the perfect opportunity for Trump to step forward and make his plans known to transform or eliminate this system in order to transform our federal government and support the American people ONCE AGAIN.
And when he does that; Maybe this will end the media and democrat narrative that Elon is the president instead of Trump.
This possible “purposeful narrative” deployment doesn’t seem to be considered at all in my opinion.
But it is a possibility. Game theory.
Doubtful it was “planned” – Laura Loomer might give you an answer to that.
I expect President Trump is taking a “Wait/Watch and see how his CHOSEN people handle this “MAGA WAR”. I’m in great favor of DOGE — Leftists are very, very against it and want President Trump to kick both Elon and Vivek to the curb.
We (or at least “I”) will wait and see — I do know for certain that I’m not about to aid the Leftists.
I also had a strong sense of a purpose behind Elon and Vivek pushing this exact topic to the center of the Twitter (X) spotlight. Sunlight – and once again, the rats are left writhing in the focused heat of the American electorate.
With the subsequent moves to pull back account visibility and free speech, I am once again uncertain, but this I know above all.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has His Hands on the wheel and everything will work out according to His Plans.
It is entirely plausible…the facts are there, so this whole debacle is certainly not a coinkydink.
No more new visas until the illegals are deported.
We want a moratorium and for AMERICANS get to decide who gets invited.
Maybe every corporation that enjoys operating in the USA needs some Bill Maher type of ‘new rules’ in those woke/marxists/communists HR departments.
Maybe Elon and Vivek should look at their HR departments as to the lack of American hires.
Their purple hair got in it’s eyes so it could only see applications that had pronouns, all the others went in the trash.
I said what I said yesterrday, and I stand by it… – Looks like we’re headed for full-blown ‘Public-Private-Partnership’ Corporatocracy (aka:- Fascism… (- And believe you me, as a Brit I would know – Bliar started trial ballooning this sh*t on us, back before 9/11…)

try typing like a sane person
Trump is going to fire these guys in a month or two, and invent funny names for them. Like he always does.
He can’t fire Musk though. He reports to Musk, not the other way around.
Wrong
Musk was pro Obama. Tesla, AFAIK still receives consumer side tax credits for every car sold, otherwise known as “corporate welfare for yuppie buyers.” Frankly, I couldn’t make sense of Musk’s political change.
With the big boys at the top, it’s always about the money.
I sure hope not
Elon keeps deliberately conflating H1b with other types of visas.
.
Because he was one?
.
Is Vivek still with DOGE, or has he already departed? I think he posts under a certain name here, and I haven’t seen that name in comments since the 21st, the day Biden signed the Continuing Resolution. His X posts sound like his personal opinions, not a reflection of official policy of President Trump.
The title of this article clearly expresses what just happened, yet I still see multiple attempts at deflection.
I also see attempts to make us stop talking about this, as if we are the ones causing the problem, we are falling for a trick to divide us.
We still don’t have a good answer as to why Elon and Vivek suddenly brought this up.
Elon is attempting to explain it away as one of the government programs that need fixing.
Did someone ask him to fix any programs?
Vivek IS wrong, because we already know why Americans are being replaced with H1b workers, and it has nothing to do with culture when a corporation suddenly decides to lay off its American work force and hire foreigners.
Maybe after all of the American federal workers are sacked, replace them with cheaper Indians, to save cost ?
It is a ripe topic to discuss. Vivek is utterly wrong. And it seems he is saying things in public that should be cleared with the boss first. It makes one wonder what is going on behind the scenes. I thought I just saw a report that President Trump has decided to wait until the inauguration to present his cabinet choices, rather than put them up for early confirmation. There are so many questions. H-1Bs are the camel’s nose under the tent.
No one has mentioned the fact that Musk and Vivek may have been set up as to the timing of this. Who in the Trump circle approved both of them doing this?
Or it was done, unintentionally as sometimes happens. If that was the case a mea culpa may be forthcoming from someone in Trump’s circle perhaps?
MAGA getting played by the corporate media and the left. Resist!
Since when did “making America great again” require getting skilled workers from foreign countries at lower cost? That sounds like the logic of GW Bush to me.
Immigration is killing this nation. Fix that. Then do the next thing (work visas) at some future time, when peace and tranquility reign again.
I watched this nonsense go on at Verizon. H1b is really an illegal alien invasion that displaces American workers as H1bs only hire other H1bs. I have seen job postings placed in obscure buildings so that no one will see them and another H1b will be hired.
As far as work product. Some are really good, most are not but fake it well.
If Musk and Vivek are pushing this, then it is time to cut ties.
This whole Ramaswamy/Musk spat with Loomer was just gone over in-depth on LOCAL television!!!
Guess the swamp found their lever for cracking wide open the MAGA vs Tech coalition.
Can’t these uber wealthy guys STOP and think? Did they even see the people who attended Trump rallies? What would be their reception at a Trump rally from the audience were they to voice such blather? What would Trump’s response be? Regardless of speaking at a rally or on a digital platform the message is still the same and the same people will see it. If damage control doesn’t happen soon this won’t end well.
I understand where Vivek and Musk are coming from: U.S. graduates from progressive, far-left colleges often exhibit an entitled attitude believing the world owes them something simply because they exist and can maintain their body temperature. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. However, we can’t solve the problem by continuing to import unscrupulous foreign workers from countries like India and China. While they may have a stronger work ethic, their presence could ultimately transform Western society into something it was never meant to be. Remember, America is only great because it’s a Western country built on Western values. It’s ultimately about our freedom!
We need to calm our emotions and focus on finding a balanced solution—one that addresses immediate challenges, such as the potential engineering shortage (if it exists) while also addressing the systemic issues within U.S. schools, colleges, and universities that are undermining the long-term viability of our workforce.
If you want geniuses you use the O1 visa.
Not the H1B visa. Problem which everyone here agrees with is that it has been ABUSED by the corporations to hire middle managers, and folks that receive 100k instead of 300k which Americans would receive.
The foreign students admitted to our universities are the problem as well. And this number is unlimited. Especially, the folks from India and China, where if they have a gvt scholarship, they are in some/many cases spies, trying to get research positions in sensitive areas, by the way with CHINESE and Indian professors already at the university who sponsor them. Who select them with a wink and a nod to research positions under DOD and who knows where.
Universities know what is going on but love the MONEY. In some of these situations, we are getting played folks.
If only everyone understood the difference between H1B and O1, and what seeking H1B visas necessarily means: that it isn’t about bringing in some highly skilled talent, but mass importing run-of-the-mill* tech sector workers who can be forced to work cheap.
*bear in mind that the average IQ in India is 77 vs 97 in the U.S., and that they still allow _cannibalism_ in India, and that even Detroit has a better sewer system than any city in India ever did. In other words, “run of the mill” HERE means _better_ than run of the mill in India!
Sadly, I think they’re right. And Mumbai has long replaced Silly Con Valley and a bunch of other places in the USA where IT work was done. Poverty or the real risk of it is a powerful motivator. That doesn’t mean they need to come here, tho. It means our Edumakashun system needs a big gut check, followed by a massive purge of all commies, SJWs, and anyone not achieving real world results. We’re not training enough young people in skilled trades, in agriculture, engineering, and/or in IT. Also very sadly, far too many young people are being killed off by VAEs from the clot shots. I’d love to have some “words” with Gates of Hell (and PDJT) about that.
.
Bakke decision, college discrimination against white boys okayed by U.S. Supreme Court in 1978.
H-1B visa category created in 1990.

If my memory serves, Bakke won and UC Davis was forced to give him a slot.
That said, I agree OC, white males have been getting the short end of the stick since at least the late 1970’s.
Affirmative action in hiring, race-based college grants, exclusion from programs, etc., etc.
Discrimination that CA used to do with open institutional racial bias, (which the courts stopped) the state now does with zip codes. Clever work around eh? Folks from “economically disadvantaged areas” and “environmentally impacted areas” (Ghettos and Barrios) get bonus points in the hybrid evaluation systems.
Wink-Wink.
I agree with S.D. that Americans know how to get stuff done… Perhaps toiling in a code farm (as these HB1 folks will be doing) is not the best use of our countrymen’s talents?
I just wish that our corps would stop outsourcing their customer service desks to places with sing-songy fricken accents. I can never understand what the hell these people are saying!
I keep asking them to repeat themselves and, if necessary, ask to speak to someone who speaks English.
The true inequality in education has become staggering. Per capita education spending in 1960 was about $700 (year 2017 dollars), NOT per student. It was about $4176 this year.
DJ ever heard of content blockers? they mostly work.
This article is very eye opening about the India culture and it’s values and basis. Written by an Asian Indian. CULTURE is determinant for nations. Worth the read on and applied to this discussion.

They voted for Obama, they voted for Biden, they let SJW’s take over their companies, they lost total control over the Democrat party, they had panic attacks over Covid, they got quad boosted.
Now they are gonna tell us how wrong we are about H-1B’s.
I DONT THINK SO
Unfortunately, it is true that American Youth is not what it used to be. Neither in hard labor, blue collar skills, farming, intellect in the STEM fields, or leadership.
However the tech industry has been a major, if not the chief culprit allowing the deep state, communists, leftists, and WEF to filter the information given to our children in silos of which the working class are not aware.
We need to hold them accountable for this. If they are going to be America First, then they need to be part of producing good education of our youth. Otherwise, I say take the big techs down if we are able
I have 35 clients that are small business owners. Medical, manufacturing (2), service, legal, etc. Most of them are unable to fully staff their operations. Many of them complain of low quality candidates in the labor pool. All are hiring citizens only.
This is not uncommon across the country. The solution will be long term and multifaceted.
DJT wants to ignite strong economic growth. Labor is a large part of that. He is well aware of the low labor participation rate. That he is open to some flexibility on legal immigration just tells me that he wants to keep his options open on providing the labor piece to the economic success.
I for one am willing to listen.
Elon just had a temper fit and stated people who disagree with him can go eff themselves in the 👄.
He stated that he would go to war over this issue.
My thoughts are that the mini-me toddler he carts around has more maturity than his daddy.
Well, the dude supposedly has Aspergers…
No, and hell no! They are not just bringing in extremely high IQ, specialist type individuals. This allows them to bring in totally unskilled labor types who are low wage earners, again threatening the livelihoods of thousands of American citizens.
Nope, No, Nada, FORGET IT !!!
HEY !!! Ramaswamy … and Musk!!! Can you hear us “mediocre” Americans NOW ??!!!
WeThePeople are MAGA … We were MAGA long before you rode in on the MAGA Tidal Wave … and we fight back!!!
HIRE AMERICANS … or leave !!!
Make your “plan” work in the crapHole country you came from. If foreign workers are so great, let those smarties fix their own countries … then you won’t have to infest OUR American Job Market with them, to steal USA American jobs from LEGAL Americans !!!
End. H1B. NOW !!!
H1B = FOREIGN Affirmative-Action, cream-of-the-crap DEI – Foreign or American – and only hurts America.
Giving American jobs to foreigners who then bring their entire family-tree to the USA to live on welfare … ALL paid for by American tax dollars – STOLEN from American taxpayers.
END THIS NOW PRESIDENT TRUMP !!!
Well said
Since they choose to sling from the mud pit and disrespect our nation and her people – here’s an unvarnished response for Vivek and Elon.
It comes down to this – if we want America First then Musky Arse, Ram-a-swammy, et al need to be corralled – and if they persist, fully purged. It appears the idiots can’t even figure out how to start the task stated for DOGE, much less actually accomplish it.
If one listens to everything they say and have said, the morons actually think replacing Americans with second rate foreign talent will solve business problems and humans with AI will solve government problems (while incidentally giving them total control – even though they won’t point blank admit that part publicly).
Further, the world’s BEST talent is American talent and they are already playing for “the other side” – with that side being the one that encompasses and embraces the American people and foundational principles of our nation. H1B visas and foreign technological labor is the way of America (and Americans) LAST and a LOSING path for our nation – their assertions to the contrary are psyop cow dung and the exact same type of ploy as DEMOCRATS try to continuously pull. Next they’ll bring out the racist and phobia cards, which would be absolutely hilarious in light of multi-racial makeup of Americans.
The world’s BEST talent most definitely does NOT embrace H1B cheap labor, 2nd class talent visas – in fact, America needs a complete shutdown of immigration for at least 15 years until the LEGAL immigrants already here have had a chance to assimilate and the illegal ones to have been purged.
While we’re at it, no foreigners in our top engineering and science schools either. It’s INSANITY to train one’s competitors and enemies. That includes the need to purge all of the Confucious Institutes and stop allowing the grand theft of American designs, research, and ideas such as that which China has been doing ever since Slick Willy played with cigars in the Oval Office.
The only things Musk, Vivek, et al want are for their companies to be first, their bank accounts to be the largest, and their control of our nation to be totalitarian and fully in their own slimy grips. They don’t give a tinker’s dam about the American people or the nation as it was founded – they simply wish to plunder and control it.
If they were actually America First they would be focusing on their assigned task of whittling the government down to the bare essentials as outlined by the Constitution and eliminating all the waste and fraud. If they actually cared about the talent pool, they would push for the total elimination of DEI, the racist discrimination in college admissions against America’s best and brightest, and the elimination of federal funding for any school with either of those 2 insane policy types, as well as the funding of any unproductive degrees such as gender studies. While they were at it, they could cut all funding to those colleges with endowments that are larger than most countries total assets, as well as tax their gains just like individual’s are.
For their enlightenment, there are many reasons why Silicon Valley and people like Musky Arse, Sad Sack, and Ram-a-swammy have a hard time hiring the world’s real top talent (AMERICAN talent).

The time rapidly approaches for PDJT to pick a side – that of the people of America…or that of the machines and demons. That of eternal life through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ – or that of the eternal damnation set aside for Satan’s minions. That of the true wealth centered on God, family, and God’s creations – or that of the money changers and the beast.
A look at some of Musky’s statements:

Musky on SAI and humanity:
Here’s a snippit from an article on his “prediction”…
Back in 2018, Jürgen Schmidhuber, who is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at AI company NNAISENSE, the Director of the Swiss AI lab IDSIA, and heralded by some as the “father of artificial intelligence” is confident that the singularity “is just 30 years away. If the trend doesn’t break, and there will be rather cheap computational devices that have as many connections as your brain but are much faster,” he said. “There is no doubt in my mind that AIs are going to become super smart,” Schmidhuber says.
Musk, who is the Tesla and SpaceX CEO, and owner of X, formerly Twitter, made the prediction shortly after his AI company, xAI, officially launched its first image generation model, Aurora, earlier this month, according to a report by RT.
Aurora, an updated version of the first image generation model that xAI introduced in October, allows users to create photorealistic visuals. Compared to other AI models, Aurora has fewer restrictions and can accurately generate images at almost any prompt, including depictions of famous personalities and copyrighted characters.
“It is increasingly likely that AI will superset the intelligence of any single human by the end of 2025 and maybe all humans by 2027/2028,” Musk wrote on Monday, in a post on his social media platform X. According to him, “the probability that AI will exceed the intelligence of all humans combined by 2030 “is ~100%.”
The computer scientist cited a common fear that the AI machines currently being trained “would lead to systems that turn against humans.”
Musky isn’t a computer scientist and his psychotic half-lobed self is incapable of understanding a very profound and simple fact – whether or not AI based systems directly turn against humanity is beside the point. It’s their very existence and use as he and his ilk envision them that are the direct threat and that which would destroy humanity. He can’t grasp that concept because he doesn’t comprehend what humanity consists of – instead believing that it’s a mere collection of thoughts in a container – whether that container is flesh and blood or machine.
His views are in sync with the rest of his transhumanist psychos. Those ideas and views, along with links to articles on just what Kurzweil’s singularity is, are detailed in the other thread on this topic, here:

They are also in sync with the WEF’s little concept boy, Yuval.
Yes, Yuval Harari is a big part of this…

Let’s get this straight. H1B was intended to give ONLY foreigners who had skills NOT AVAILABLE in the domestic population. Super specialized, maybe geniuses, whatever, a LIMITED group.
It was NOT just “regular IT job replacement program” for mass importation of routine IT workers of dubious quality who will work for half the pay and double hours with a visa threat hanging over their head.
This became simply a giveaway to Big Tech and they increased the “Visa limit” every year for decades until it now permits close to the entire market of IT workers. I exaggerate slightly but you get the gist.
There is no shortage of jobs, only a shortage of American STEM majors to fill them. Hence, the popularity of H1B hires. It is good business for Americans and American companies. Want to employ more Americans? Educate more Americans.
Pure BS and as bright as your avatar.
Sundance, where did all this negativity about Musk and Ramaswamy come from? What changed? It wasn’t them.
These jackasses are ALWAYS clamoring for “expanded” H1B quotas, and have been for decades.
Before Clinton was elected, early fall ’92, I was doing my work study at Texas A&M, when this was a hot topic, front page of WSJ etc, claiming “shortages” of technicians and the need to “raise the quota.”
I was an undergrad helping collect research for a chemistry lab, 6-7 post-grads working under a British professor. They said the whole technician thing was a sham – sure, there were some jobs out there, but the pay was “like a fast food manager” and so they opted to work on a 2nd PhD instead – they were all post-docs.
There was no shortage, it was hype to get more techs trained, and go to more schooling, and to keep the supply high and price low. They hyped the same thing about schoolteachers, “shortages” – all b.s.
How many decades are we gonna fall for this scam?
p.s. the lab team was mostly foreign anyway, Dutch, British, Asian, Indian, and even they scoffed at the narrative
In 2016-17 Trump made some noise about H1B. Then after a few visits from Big Tech execs, he quieted down. Nothing was ever done. Business as usual.
Well we can’t on one hand say that the left has dumbed down our populace through their control of the schools, then turn around and say there is no need for foreigners to be brought in to help….
Right on my man! When we’re at our worst were still better than the rest of the worlds people? The USA! Best, brightest, and most sucessful nation on the face of the earth? We rule the world!
Paging Proctor and Gamble. Zero Hedge has been running articles for almost a year showing no new jobs went to actual Americans. Remember, the only thing any of these guys really, really want at the core of their soul is to get paid. Everything else is ancillary and/or bull manure. H1Bs lets them have their cake and eat it too.
My father was a high school math teacher from the 50s to the 80s. After Sputnik, he was in heaven. Defense programs for math teachers to return to college for advanced courses in the summer led to great vacations all over the US for us family members (the dads did have to study), all kinds of programs for identifying kids with STEM potential and ruthlessly tracking them in advanced high school courses (leaving everybody else in the dust), and generous college scholarships for those with good (and fairly earned) high grade averages in STEM. I was in HS myself from ’62-’65, and lived it personally. DEI is the exact opposite kind of program, and it results in the exact opposite outcome — and that was 100% predictable before it was implemented. Like every single Leftist program, the ultimate goal is the weakening, enslavement, and ultimate extinction of America and of the American People.
That was a half hearted argument for the American worker. So much needs to be said about the devastating effects of replacing the American stem worker with foreign born and how it cascades throughout our society effecting the next generations limited opportunity.
