Six months ago, I was asked my opinion of the Silicon Valley alignment with MAGA. I said at the time I thought it would last around 18 months and finally climax with a large fracture in the political movement around 2026. I had no idea at the time, the group of technocrats would begin publicly advocating for replacing American workers before Trump took office.
For the past several days I have watched Vivek Ramaswamy, David Sacks, Elon Musk and his big tech influencers debating with their followers about the importance for them to continue expanding H-1b visas for foreign tech workers. It is stunning to see this crew double, triple and quadruple down on advocacy, while defining American workers as inadequate for their Silicon Valley needs.
Alas, it is what it is. Within the argument Musk, Ramaswamy, Sacks and group have presented multiple justifications for their foreign worker assistance programs, while advocating for expanded immigration support therein.
Within the tone of their argument, they essentially say the American worker is (1) not intellectual enough; (2) doesn’t have the right work ethic; and the latest point of justification is that (3) American culture is to blame for their need to import foreign workers.
As Vivek Ramaswamy recently said, “Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG.” Thus, as the narrative is sold, American workers need to be replaced with more culturally appropriate Indian tech workers.
When the Indian-American starts saying Indian culture is more adequate at creating workers for the American tech industry, he loses me completely.
If the Indian culture is the holy grail breeding ground for software engineers, then why isn’t New Delhi replacing Silicon Valley?
Considering that factually the Indian culture is entirely based on a caste system, the argument is even more absurd.
What we need are training and recruitment centers for American students. However, the larger issue within the billionaire tech team advocacy is an issue of self-interest.
What we see in the justifications and arguments of the Ramaswamy, Musk and Sacks group is a very specific point of immigration policy for their subset within a singular sector of the American economy. Perhaps this would not be such a big issue, if these points of advocacy were coming from outside government interest groups. However, with this tech team going into the administration, the influence becomes something a little bigger.
The part the Tech Group do not understand is the core of the American DNA, “Liberty“…
It is only from the position of liberty, intellectualism actualized in freedom form, that the working culture of America, the ingenuity part, can be understood.
If you attempt to quantify Americanism with math and algorithms, the translated outcome always fails.
Dear Vivek Ramaswamy, my counter take…
Several years ago, Florida Power and Light won the prestigious international Edward Demming Award for excellence in multi-platform engineering, efficiency superiority and total quality in the process of energy management.
However, the scruffy rednecks did not blow every PhD intellectual out of the water with slide rules, CAD programs, articulated and quantified quality improvement processes and engineering acumen. They did it with hard hats and dirty fingernails.
Because they lost the award, the jaw-agape Japanese spent 6 months visiting and reviewing FPL and later published a 1,000-page study essentially saying FPL “wasn’t really good, they were just lucky.”
You see, the reviewers couldn’t actually quantify the reason why the Florida-based energy company was so successful. In response the FPL field leadership laughed, took out magic markers and wrote on the back of their hard hats: “WE’RE NOT GOOD, WE’RE RUCKY.”
A few years later, every single Kuwaiti oil field was blown up by Saddam Hussein. Global analysts and think-tanks proclaimed it would take 5 years to cap them all off and restart the Kuwait oil pumping industry. Well, the Kuwaiti’s and Saudi’s called Texans, who had them all capped and back in working order in 6 months.
We are a nation that knows how to get shit done.
A few more years pass, and the Northern Chile mine workers were trapped two miles underground. The eyes of the world began to tear as the word spread. Most began to whisper no one could save them. Who did they call for help? A bunch of hick miners from USA coal country who went down there, worked on the fly, engineered the rescue equipment on site, and saved every one of them.
Yup, that’s our America. Ingenuity born from freedom.
Across the pond a half-breed Islamic whack job, armed with an AK-47 and a goal to meet his virgins, began opening fire on a train in France. The scruffneck Americans on board didn’t run to the nearest safe room and hide themselves amid baguettes and brie. They said, “let’s go”, and beat the stuffing out of that little nut with a death wish.
Legion d’Honneur or not, that’s us. WE ARE AMERICANS! That’s just how we roll.
In fact, Lady Liberty can stroll along the Champs-Elysées with a swagger befitting Mae West because without her arrival, they’d be speaking German in the Louvre. Yet, for the better part of the past decade, a group of intellectual leftists have been teaching our children that it’s better to be sitting around a campfire eating sustainable algae cakes and picking parasites off each other; because ‘save the planet’, or something similarly minded. It would appear, they hate the outcomes and inequities from freedom.
Warmest regards,
Americans First!
My BEST advice to @elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy @DavidSacks and the Silicon Valley tech elites, is to keep talking. Just keep telling Americans how terrible they are and how they need to be replaced. Great Job.
Every time you guys open your typeset in public, @LauraLoomer grows a…

Wow.
What a take.
The point is that NOT ENOUGH citizens are making the effort to get the education necessary for certain jobs.
NOT ENOUGH citizens are willing to set on a career path leading to employment in positions that are necessary.
Just from personal experience from working in the healthcare sector and the IT sector… There just are not enough people that will actually get a job. I’ve seen positions go empty for months where not one application was received.
I’ve seen the same where there was a person hired who should not have been, but they were the only one who applied or was the least worst of the bunch. That makes MY job harder doing the work of the empty position or picking up the slack of the unqualified or lazy. Look at your nurses, you doctors or your aides and techs.. Many of those are legal immigrants doing the job competently and happily.
We currently have almost 50% of our population that sits on their arses and collects tax payer funded benefits instead of working. If 40% of those are actual retirees or too disabled to work, thats a whole lot of people that just refuse to even get a job.
Then you have the 40-60% of “college students” who spend 4-6 years partying on their student loans and either never finish college and drop out or they graduate with either worthless degrees or just degrees that leave them unqualified for anything except politics, social welfare or government positions. They are not the engineers, doctors, nurses etc. that we need as a country and the specific needs of the tech industry.. like data scientists, network engineers.
You cannot replace an American worker with a legal immigrant if there is no American in the job and no American willing to do the work and put in the effort to get the job in the first place.
Where there is an issue is where there ARE empty positions that have not been filled with US workers that ARE qualified and DO want the job and, if hired, do the job competently .. ie get to work on time, perform their duties competently and timely and not spend their days screwing off thinking they can’t get fired because they are entitled to that position now forever.. no matter how badly they mess up or their attitude.
There are just NOT ENOUGH Americans that are even INTERESTED in some positions, are qualified and are the picture of the hard working, loyal and competent American worker.
Unfortunately, we cannot MAKE people get off the dole and get a job.
We cannot MAKE people go into specific fields.
We cannot MAKE people perform their jobs up to standard.
We CAN give incentives.
We CAN bar student loans for certain “educational” paths or make it easier to get resources for needed career paths.
We CAN make it easier for Americans to sue companies that pass over qualified Americans (or that fire Americans) solely to get cheaper labor from imported workers… legal AND illegal.
We CAN do alot of things to prevent abuse of employment immigration.
We CAN do more to kick people off of the dole..
But that would require buy in from the half of the country that wants the votes of those who are happily existing off my tax money and are quite willing to trade their votes for the demokkkrat’s promise of easier, expanded and exorbitant lifestyles. And I doubt that will ever change.
So yes, we do need to have a better LEGAL immigration system.
We need to have better guardrails to protect the interest of American workers who put in the time and effort to be qualified for jobs and to protect them from losing their jobs in favor of cheaper immigrants.
We need to have laws in place that protect Americans from discrimination in education. One specific example is training and education for Medical Doctors. DEI is screwing things up at the level of even getting into a career path.
No educational program that is rejecting Americans should be allowed to accept foreign students except where there are spots open due to a lack of application to the programs from America citizens.
The safeguards and the punishments for employers need to be worked out and put in place first. The restrictions on the education system need to be put in place first. Then I see no reason to object to an increase in legal immigration.. especially when there would be a job waiting for them, the employer be responsible for them and maybe even have a fund any employer who obtains a visa worker pays into that would help fund training, retraining or education for US workers.
AND the “birth right” citizenship needs to be completely cleared up… if you are in the country illegally or on ANY kind of temporary VISA (aka student or other non-immigrant visa) your child does not get US citizenship unless ONE parent is a US citizen or legal immigrant.
There is a real need to get laws in place to protect and assist American workers especially those whose jobs have changed or are being eliminated through technological changes. The idiots coming out of today’s universities who may wake up, grow up and join the “adulting community” at some point also will require a path to gainful, meaningful employment once they realize the hard fact that their degree in midget lesbian dance theory is worthless and I would rather see the expense for their retraining be funded by the employers accessing the foreign work visa program i stead of consuming more tax payer money.
Equilibrium of Supply and Demand for labor is always achieved through Price. Bringing in HB1 Visa workers increases the labor supply and decreases the Price (wage) of labor to maintain equilibrium, in this case tech labor.
The same thing occurs with unskilled labor when illegal immigration is allowed.
We’ve heard it said Americans will not do certain types of work, but it’s not true. Americans won’t do certain types of work because the wage of that work has been driven down (by increasing the supply of labor) to a level that is not is not worth American’s time and energy.
Americans being flexible and inventive will refuse those jobs and instead, start their own small business and hire those lower wage workers to do the exact same work.
The IT field has been ruined by H1B jobs. In the 80’s and 90’s a BS was required to break into the IT market and it paid well. Senior management realized they only needed specific skillsets that did not require an education and the industry Certs took off during the 90’s. You could pay them less. To get even cheaper labor the H1B visa brought in foreign IT workers.
–
I was a IT Project Manager in the 90’s where I was making about 5% more than my school teacher wife that had a specialist degree. In 94 my entire 14 member team had a BS. By 98 I was down to 10 positions where those that had a collage degree were replaced with someone holding a certification or a college intern and I had 1 H1B worker. By 2000 I was the only one with a BS. I still had 10 positions of which 2 were interns, 4 were H1B, and 4 had certs. The interns and H1B were paid half of what the people that had the Certs. HR also decreed that any non-intern position would be replaced with H1B workers. By 2002 I had an entire H1B shop as the intern positions were converted to H1B and I was let go so that one of the H1B workers could step into my position. I struggled for almost a year looking for an IT job until I fell back on my military career field of satellite communications. I let all of my IT Certs expire as I made more than twice what I did in IT.
I always said: verify, then trust. I have never completely trusted Musk or Vivek or rfkjr. All of these men are attention seekers, control freaks, plus come from very different cultural backgrounds. Trump needs to come out publicly and set the record straight: We are America First…not h1b visas first. ENOUGH.
Thank you for bringing us a real and helpful prospective. They got too cocky…I knew they would, it has just come about earlier than I thought it would.
Vivek is cultural snob. He thinks fast, speaks fast, and has demonstrated he does not think highly of the American citizen. As for Elon: he appears to me to be a spoiled, opportunist who has allowed his ‘base’ to pull into mockery of those who have given him space. Be careful rich, over confident, snobs: Americans do not take lightly to being called slugs and no accounts.
I have no respect for these men. They have exposed themselves.
Still waiting to see how rfkjr turns out.
Again, thank you, Sundance.
JD as well.
I have an intuitive feeling that their involvement is not going to end well; am much in agreement with your “…never completely trusted…” comment. The American fabric has lost control of its government.
Don’t live in Troy Nehls’ district; otherwise, I feel your pain, but still have a small bit of confidence in Cruz, but Paxton must dispose of Cornyn.
I think Cruz will do what his voters demand of him, Cornyn thinks he can do whatever. I don’t trust either one.
Musk, Ramaswathy, Sacks and rfkjr come from the same culture – money. None are America first; they’re themselves first.
And Trump hired them…
Yes, he ultimately did.
Yes PT hired them.
And he can fire them just as quickly.
I would have thought these goobers would have waited at least until Pres Trump was in office before they showed their true colors.
They really are very very full of themselves.
I don’t think you get my point at all. You’re like those Soviet-era Russians, being sent to gulag, who said something along the lines of “Mr. Stalin will be so angry when he finds out about this!”.
They may prove themselves to the warmer and fuzzier version of sociopathic overlords who have oppressed normal people for millennia.
From the moment the cabal really thought Trump would win, he was in control no longer. It was obvious.
Keep in mind that Vivek became a centi-millionaire by starting and selling a company that never made money under his stewardship.
And I remember it was some kind of pharmaceutical company that had something shady going on.
a
Abe said: “Overall here’s what i see. this is not about h-1b. that is the symptom. Vivek let it out. Foreigners see America as a business to come and takeover and run like one. Americans see it as a country, a nation, with a cultural identity and a collective society of people we call American. This is the rift.”
That’s the best short summary of the situation I’ve seen yet. Add to this the attitude of American globalist politicians and businessmen — Republican and Democrat alike — that a nation with a cultural identity and a collective society of people called Americans is something to be disparaged, not admired.
Excellent point Battleship W.
Too many out there in the world, and here at home in the USA see America and all of its prosperity something they can use to feather their own nests.
We have allowed this to happen far far to long and it needs to stop now.
My neighborhood in Silicon Valley boasted one of the best public education systems in the 70’s-90’s. I graduated High School in 1981 and the local High School had one of the best athletic programs in the country. Many students went on to win Gold in the Olympics, or play in the MLB/NFL/NBA.
Something changed in the late 80’s. There was a huge influx of foreign nationals to my neighborhood. Many came from India and China.
There was a clear change in the demographic of my neighborhood. The local High School could no longer field a competitive football team. Country Club sports of tennis, swimming, golf and badminton became the top sports at the High School.
Most importantly, these naturalized families with kids became lions of the computer electronics industry. They excelled in Math and Science…and the public education system catered to their intellect.
Elon Musk recognized the talent in my town and started Tesla there.
Moral of the story…sometimes we might have to prioritize scholastic achievement over “Friday Night Lights” in order to ensure our kids are well placed in certain industries in our nation.
A lot of truth in your comments…today it appears more emphasis and recognition given to football teams, cheer and dance squads, and non-athletic activities (not to mention all the “woke” intrusions into literally every subject) rather than basic education . When a math teacher insists on anti-racist exercises in an algebra class there’s a fundamental flaw in the curriculum. When students are accepted into college (no entrance exams) and cannot read, there’s a fundamental flaw in the curriculum.
An interesting conversation might be what is the purpose of even having a high school football program (or substitute any sport or activity)? I go to a physical therapist who tells me the injuries and surgical procedures of students he treats as young as elementary school age, is astounding because of unqualified coaches and parents who push their kids into sports before their bodies are developed to handle it.
Who is responsible for the dumbing down of our American public school students, and who benefits?
There is truth in what you say, however you are seeing it through a prism that thinks that kids should spend their youth with their noses buried in their books,
It is simplistic to think that forcing high school students to put all of their energy into getting A’s and B’s on more and more intense STEM will produce better engineers, programmers etc.
What you end up with students who are not well-rounded and lacking in common sense and elitist in thinking they are smarter than the guy running a successful plumbing or construction business.
The smart kids will be successful in engineering, math, etc. as they advance in University regardless how hard they were pushed to get good grades.
High school should be about raising well rounded individuals who have the life experience to understand their neighbors who chose alternate paths are often smarter in life or business than those who spent their childhood in books.
I am not saying we do NOT need to improve our STEM education for all students. Of course we do.
What I am saying is that ALL students should be exposed to more vibrant programs in arts, music, sports, business, etc. so they can be well rounded and realize that their friends have different talents and types of intelligence that contribute to their lives and communities.
You won’t get that if your nose is only stuck in a book.
.
In 1979 Khomeini. No more Shah. The west coast of California got a huge influx of wealthy Iranian entrepreneurs and their entrepreneur connex in China and elsewhere who followed.
In 1980 there were no H-1B visas. The H-1B visa category was created in 1990.
Today, the annual H-1B visa cap is set at 65,000 visas, with an additional 20,000 for those with advanced U.S. degrees.
That’s in addition to foreign visa students who manage immediate green cards, chain migrants of all of them, and now, the children of these immigrants.
.
They’re all on the same team, always have been.
Indians have a horrible culture, sorry.
India = the barbaric Hindu caste or the barbaric izlomic sharia law with dhimmi slavery
india is a third world trash hole because of their inferior culture and inferior beliefs
They still have _cannibalism_ there, for cryin’ out loud. And it’s legal. Best engineers my [rump]! Had Elon and Ramswami said, say, Japanese engineers are the best, that would’ve at least (agree or not) been a credible statement.
Over 40,000 wives and mothers lose their lives when kerosene is poured over them and they are lit on fire…by their husbands.
Women have no value in India.
So true Sandalwood.
Any country that promotes polygamy is a country where females have no value.
I went to India only once for a few days and couold not wait to leave.
Don kid yourself, the companies that employ a majority of these H1B types usually have some of the worst performance records!!! Many times code has to be corrected or totally redone because they can’t operate with out a damn how to manual!!! Don’t even get me started on the COMMUNICATION issue!!! 😤
That is very interesting Hotpoint.
I would like to hear more about the shoddy job these so so smart H1B peope make in these tech companies.
A lot of these clowns from India, Nepal, and Bangladesh go to the equivalent of a junior college in their home country and are basically passed through whether they actually learn the necessary skills or not (basically diploma mills like the UNIVERSITY OF PHEONIX OR SOME OTHER TYPE OPERATION HERE IN THE US). They are then selected and brought over on these H1B Visas SUPPOSEDLY HAVING THESE HIGH TECH SKILLS??? 😝
Americans were looked down at by the British in 1700’s and many were considered criminals for avoiding British taxes, smugglers like John Hancock.
Americans proved they could be brave and creative with a can-do spirit that built this country.
When Vivek makes India a place that Indians want to live in maybe he will have something to say worth hearing, same for Elon.
Stay in lane and check your ego.
Elon doesn’t seem to care about his home country at all. I guess a white man doesn’t have the same opportunities in SA.
Elon is a globalist opportunist and that’s all. The minute he figured out Trump was going to win he hitched his wagon to that horse and ingratiated himself to Trump and Trump took the bait hook, line and sinker.
Good point. I’m just hopping mad that it seems Elon and Vivek were all MAGA to influence Trump in order to open the floodgates on H-1B.
I expect this is so they could have the indentured servants at low cost and improve their companies bottom line.
The disparagement of Americans by both Elon and Vivek as not good enough is insulting and speaks volumes to their character.
Companies in America need to HIRE AMERICANS. Period. No other options. Americans will innovate.
If that is unacceptable to Elon and Vivek, please build your amazing companies in India with Indians you want.
If that’s what they wanted to do, they certainly haven’t gone about in a smart way. It’s pretty obvious they’re not politicians. We should be glad they’re not
Vivek is an american, so that’s not a smart statement.
Excuse me but I didn’t not say anything about whether Vivek was American.
He made disparaging remarks on American work ethics and abilities.
I am pointing out that if he prefers HIRING Indians over Americans then he should have his companies in India where he will have an UNLIMITED supply.
You said when Vivek makes India a place worth living. That implies his responsibility is to India first, and why would it be? Unless you thought he was a native Indian, or, which is the meaning of many other posters here– he isn’t American since he doesn’t have the right shade. Now you are recontextualizing using totally different words. Interesting. Anyway, have at it.
.
Indian Hindu immigrant parents educated in India. Tamil-speaking Brahmins from Kerala. It is unclear how or why they emigrated to the U.S. as adults.
Ramaswamy is an anchor baby. His mother became a citizen after he was born, and his father apparently is not a citizen but still a Brahmin scion of India.
.
It’s an American employee first for me… having worked for Prime Computer, one of the fastest growing computer companies in it’s time, interviewing and hiring the brightest minds to sitting on Union Boards and running an outside electrical firm who built power lines/lighting major cities. My working exposure was formed from opposite ends of the spectrum. Given an opportunity, managed correctly providing incentive American’s can design, build and compete with any industry. They have and will continue to do so. Correct Sundance… our American filled with ingenuity.
No need to flood our industries with foreign help full stop…. we have the talent here. American’s are not lazy in nature. That only comes from a mindset like Vivek and Elon. These men have an enormous opportunity to display by example what can happen in America. Bringing in foreign workers is not the answer. Incentivize and motivate the talent within.
President Trump.. you know this. Listen to your gut and redirect the mindset of Jrs. recruits.
Well, consider the source. How many of these brilliant Silicon Valley/”big tech influencers” are actually American and even understand our unique Americanism mindset that Sundance has pointed out? And I don’t mean Green Card holders or 1st Gens who still mentally consider themselves natives of their own cultures/countries? Like those Japanese in Florida decades ago, they are incapable of understanding Americans and what motivates us.
But that unique motivation and American pride has been deliberately and ever-increasingly sabotaged over the past century by our own government and most especially by our own elected education system – begin by blaming the substandard DEIs and other uber-liberal/progressive factions we’ve allowed to creep in and run our national Dept. of Education, our state and local Boards of Education and even our teachers, who must tow the prescribed party line of promoting racial division and ‘inequity’, as well as emphatically undermining and dismissing American exceptionalism or be penalized and forced out of their livelihoods.
Thank you, Sundance, for an insightful and thought-provoking article.
What IT went through in the 90s with the import of foreign workers, medicine had all along. As an example, the field of Anesthesia was highly populate with foreign mds: Philippinos, South and Central Americans, some Europeans. Why? Well, they hardly had to speak to the patients-they just put them to sleep! So the language barrier, strong accents did not matter. Similarly in other highly technical specialties.
This is not new. The book Operation Paperclip explains how the import of nazi doctors advanced our own biological warfare program, but also medical research in general. Similarly, the CIA permitted the naturalization of the Vietnamese, Laosian, Korean, etc local helpers of the many military excursions in the past decades.
These people end up naturalized and the cycle continues. Some integrate, but the majority enjoy the economic benefits of an American life, but do not have the ethical and moral fabric that advances our nation. Basically, the Judeo-Christian principles are missing from their life. So we are looking at over 50 years or more of war paid informers/participants immigration policy.
The educational incentives, similar to affirmative action, advanced the education of foreign born, non-white students.
While I appreciate the need for openness, I’d prefer to permit immigration of people who will contribute to the country’s welfare and assimilate to our way of living. This did not happen since the import of bodies that started after WW2, accelerated with Bill Clinton and opened the flood gates with the current occupant.
A surgeon I know used to joke that he was learning Swahili (we’re in MN) so he could ask someone in his future nursing home to wipe his butt. Funny at the time, it has proven true today.
We are also dealing with an inverted demographic pyramid. Not enough young people to support our aging population-the fruit of the contraceptive mentality is showing its ugly face. We truly do need more children! The demographics, along with the plandemic early retirements and career changes, caused current shortages in medicine, and more import of foreign mds.
A complicated national problem in all areas. I’ll repeat myself, that we must first return to our principles, rebuild the family, close the border, and then employ people on merit, hard work, and be willing to travel the long road to recovery.
Our hospitals and nursing homes are being taken over by Haitians. They speak a strange English I don’t understand. They intentionally berate patients. I fear a tipping point soon. I’ve had to use language with them I can’t use in polite society. I don’t like what I have had to do just to stand my ground. I would step out in front of a fast train before going into a nursing home..
I completely agree. The family ought to take care of the elders. These people do not love OUR parents. We do!
And the hospitals hire the illegals for cheap, although do not physical evidence such as receipts of that happening
I think we should stop all immigration for at least 25 years so we can assimilate the tens of millions we have brought in over the last decade. It’s insane for a country to actively try to destroy their own culture. It’s insane for anyone to actively seek to be a minority in their own country.
And we need an EO literally the very second that President Trump is inaugurated to the effect that those born in this country whose parents [or parent] are not present legally, i.e., are not “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” but are subject to a different jurisdiction, will NOT be rewarded with part ownership of our country.
No more anchor baby citizenship. People don’t seem to realize that this terrible custom has only been going on since the 80s, and was specifically thought to be proscribed by the careful language of the XIVth Amendment.
Yes, the 1950s were better, we hadn’t thrown out all common sense by then.
Very true, and I’ll support that point. And no family drag ons. If one comes here to work, finish the contract and go home. We, the rest of Americans, do the same when we work for a company.
“Some integrate, but the majority enjoy the economic benefits of an American life, but do not have the ethical and moral fabric that advances our nation.”
This is the crux of the problem and nails it!
Also foreign workers from Asia will further de-Christianize America. This last is what the true enemy wants.
You have hit the nail on the head!
Even God established sovereign borders of the Promised Land. It prevents chaos! And yes, the enemy is after the Christians.
I like Philippinos.
The Republic of the Philippines is the only English speaking Asian nation. English is one of the 3 national languages. Higher education is taught only in english, all official signs are in english by law. Schools teach mandatory english at every grade level. The result is only as good as the teachers, however!
It is the only Christian country in Asia, 90%.
They generally love Americans. Do not forget they were once a US territory. We gave them a vote after WWII to choose to stay that way or become independent, no strings attached. They chose their own way and have a system of government identical to our own with 3 coequal branches and they have many of the same problems with government corruption as we do here stateside.
Gosh….. Why would our VSGPDJT allow this to be brought to light ?
As with many things, I do believe he knows exactly what he is doing…….
DC politics requires pleasing enough interests to not only get you in but keep you in. PDT is not immune to these facts. Be prepared for compromising on most points. It’s just the way our Potomac Babylon works.
What is it that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy most admire about India?
Their caste system or their lack of indoor plumbing?
Probably indoor plumbing since Vivek seems to want to spread some “sh*t everywhere.
They need top engineers to stay there and work on problems. You can smell the large cities from the airplane before you land.
Maybe Vivek should go back to the third world trash hole called India.
these immigrants from india are Very arrogant and ungrateful, which comes from their barbaric hindu caste system
time to end ALL migration from India into America
The street food and downstream bio issues!
My grandfather-in-law was a talented engineer, and he built things to last even when his competitors didn’t.
He was working right up until the end of his life, but he didn’t leave enough money to last his widow for the rest of hers.
You don’t reach the highest office without extensive horse trading. Of course the voting blocks have all the faith that they are getting the top priorities. I know better than to believe the campaign illusions. We will get what we get, but he better not fail the J6 victims. That’s my red line.
This is an absolute MOAB for young Americans who voted for Trump and someone, anyone close to Trump needs to warn him. And it’s really not just young Americans but all Americans who believe in America first principles. The first foundation being American Citizens FIRST for jobs.
We need a mass apprenticeship program at the high school level as a start, then maybe vocational schools and community colleges and that is what the DOE should be planning! Then shut it down.
There are so many smart, young Americans who are stuck in service oriented jobs like waiters and bartenders, and distribution centers who are capable of so much more but have no opportunities. And so much was stolen from them because of COVID. America’s children and young workforce are intelligent, capable, patriotic and yearning for purpose. I am sick of elitists and their condescension.
One thing I am grateful for is the work of the Holy Spirit, shining light into the hidden places and exposing motives, keeping His people aware so we won’t be deceived. Trump needs to put these two boys in their place fast, it’s has the potential to turn people’s hearts against him not just them.
Instead of importing workers from India, let’s just import our sewer systems from India.
Oh wait, we already have Indian sewer systems.
They are called streets, like we already have in San Francisco.
If Trump and his team don’t wise up about the H1b they will definitely lose mid terms. The Demonicrats are already planning to use it to stiff the republicans and lately we have enough rinos.
Statistically the party without the Presidency loses seats in Congress in the off terms, so the deck is already stacked against us, and Elon and Vivek seem to want to double down on that.
https://www.unz.com/article/the-camp-of-the-saints-after-50-years/
Trump does not need Elon. Elon likely will need Trump.
Bannon’s show was spot on today. If you get Albert Einstein or Wernher Von Braun, call us, otherwise no thanks.
Tech needs to understand they can sit at the table, but the tablecloth and place settings are America first. If they don’t like it they can sit at the DNC kiddie table in the basement for New Years dinner.
JD will want to leave his wife and daughter home from all of his events after this.
He’s trying to keep his powder dry for now but he still has a dog in this fight unless we keep him out of the White House.
Well, that didn’t take long.
Per this map/table , average American IQ is way higher than average Indian IQ.
https://www.worlddata.info/iq-by-country.php
America average IQ = 98
India average IQ 77.
If Elon and Vivek wanted higher IQ, they would be calling on more workers from Japan and Taiwan. But they would demand much higher pay than Indian workers and it’s obviously all about the money, money, money.
Do not let media or anyone else – including this website- cause MAGA movement to split before we are even out the gate!!!
I won’t start pretending at this point. Once I see the strings, it’s impossible to go back to before where I didn’t see the strings…..someone said…..
I haven’t pretended for at least 70 of my 80 years. My Montana farmer father, in his quiet suppertime observations regarding current events, taught me to SEE and HEAR reality. It’s not complicated.
Pretending was never a part of his world. He was born in 1897 and served in WW I. No pretending. Ever.
Pretending—in order to avoid the appearance of a “split”? Nah. Don’t think so.
Is it possible that Vivek et al might be sort of right about the mindset of mediocrity, but that the more you work with your hands (or around those who do) the less likely you are to be affected by that mindset?
The only thing Vi FAKE is right about is; he blabbers too much while selling his snake oil…
Elon was advocating for the legal immigration of highly qualified workers temporarily.
Elon and Vivek have done so much for getting Trump elected and shooting down the horrible first version of budget bill.
Let’s stay RATIONAl
I think Trump is bringing clarity to these guys.
If you are smart, he is a good teacher.
I think that is one of the reasons for the gatherings at Mira Lago.
Intensity and intelligence can go off the rails, if not grounded
in American founding principles. Look at Zuck and Gates.
Trump knows and teaches this.
H1-B is a modest issue with some common sense solutions,
Meat and Potatoes for our coming President.
Two more ideas:
.1. The vicious fake-media are clearly trying to goad these guys into fighting each other.
You see the ” lets you and him fight ” structure in the media all the time
and again it is clear here.
.2. As part of the Trump team the Silicon Valley Guys terrify the left.
But, more than that, they give MAGA some traction on handling the coming danger
of run-away AI.
.3. As Reagan said, it is “Trust, but verify” time.
This level of concentrated power needs to be watched.
But for now the Silicon Valley Guys are part of the Maga Miracle.

American Politicians and Billionaires are front and center of the destruction of American Education.
Prove there are no Americans to fill the job, before you get to hire your family members in India, China or wherever.
Yep, and this is the problem with these two and others Trump has picked for his admin. He didn’t learn his lesson last time, he is easily duped because he thinks he is better than he is. These two, MAGA not so much, unless you really don’t care about “Americans” and you think anyway to greatness is okay. And this is what happens when you bring foreigners with money into your country and then promote them to positions of power. They always bring their ideologies with them.
H1B has been a blight on this country for A LONG TIME and it needs to go…did you really think Vivek would be behind that? Not a chance. Trump thinks along these same idealogic lines, whatever it takes to make America great. He’s said it before that he thinks we should bring the best and brightest from other countries to “help” us be great. That is a recipe for disaster and he doesn’t get it. Instead why not make America great with the talent you already have here IN AMERICA! No we will just end up being the grunt labor as has been going on now for years. That is the plan and Trump is following it to the T even if he doesn’t know it. He is being played. Will he do some “good” things? Sure. But they won’t turn the tide.
If you haven’t noticed, Indians all of a sudden seem to be in a lot of very high places in this country. Gee, I wonder how that happened and why? And is it good for our country? Me thinks not…
My first impression of Vivek- Beto O’Rourke. Musk- I still call him Ellen.
Sorry, Sundance, but you are bombing the wrong target here. The real problem is that it easier to go into a finance/business degree then an engineering/computer science degree AND the DEI policies of universities which downplay masculine stuff like engineering. MIT is leftist now. The real solution lies in reforming attitudes towards hardcore engineering stuff. BTW, can kids learn to code on their own? Yes, but learning about semiconductors and how to build operating systems needs an engineering school. Elon and the boys want a quick fix.
^^^^ THIS!!! ^^^^
This is closer to the truth underlying Vivek & Elons inflammatory statements than any imagined desire to undermine Trump or America.
Yes they are politically careless in making such statements without also proposing solutions to producing American born tech experts.
But my impression is that they were looking for fast solutions for tech industry successes over global competition rather than trying to create a longer term solution through revamping public education which will take at least another generation after trying some immediate fixes to creating tech engineers with America’s native born citizens.
I have a friend at American Airlines HQ. Her group needs people with advanced degrees in analytics and/or economics. Her complaint for years has been that there are no or at least very few US citizens with these educational backgrounds to fill the empty slots in her department. She does all the final interviews and has final say on who she believes can best fill the vacancies – strictly a decision based on qualifications not equity. She has stated that of the several hundred applicants sent to her by HR, usually only 5 or 10 are potentially qualified to do the type of work required and almost all are foreigners who have come to the US for their advanced degrees. Until the US decides to graduate STEM students instead of degrees in underwater basket weaving, we will continue to count on foreign labor.
How about encouraging students to excel in math and science in elementary school? Hire teachers that can motivate students in those subjects.
I am leaning toward this position. The patriot in me says “no, keep Americans!” but it seems like youngish Americans (30 and under) are simply not majoring in the useful degrees anymore. Their aspirations are totally different than the same age cohort even 10-15 years ago.
.
Blame college admissions policies for this, not the white American boys turned away.
.
.
How about top colleges in STEM admitting more American white boys, the largest group applying, with the hardest competition to get in, instead of filling seats with foreignors, “POC” and women?
.
Bull.
HR purges out any applicants that are white male American, before the apps even get to the hiring manager on the ground.
Why do you think every job application asks your race/ethnicity, sex, and marital status?
My wife, who didn’t fare well with her experimental serum jabs, has a heart doctor from India. I sat in on her first appointment with him and here’s what he basically told her. (1) You’re stupid, (2) You’re lazy and (3) You don’t act right.
His advice to her was to eat right and get more exercise. He even made me feel I was of a lower caste when I spoke up saying, she already eats as right as we can afford, and that she had to stop three times between the car and the reception desk to take a break.
As someone from the medical field, I’m sorry to say..this is the new normal and it’s here to stay…Guessing his name was Patel and he was skinny from eating Kale, tofu and celery…
You ARE from a lower cast! You’re white and you go to him for help-see how it goes?
You cant’ take the cast system out via medical school. I am sorry to say, that’s in the future for all of us who seek health care, private or state sponsored.
great read from zerohedge re: differing views on foreign workers & immigration: https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/work-visa-debate-not-all-immigration-bad-focus-americans-first
America needs to rid itself of the Dept of Education… this fed behemoth has for decades, prevented excellence in education. Compare the mind of a person who has been a successful entrepreneur for decades to the mind of a person employed for decades as a federal worker….
Tiered immigration like other developed countries, might strike a much needed balance between employing qualified America 1st workers and hiring the most skilled foreign workers ONLY if there is a measurable shortage for specific spots. Having worked/lived in Bangalore and APAC with turks, indians, chinese and other cultures, American tech nerds were ALWAYS part of the consulting brilliance that delivered mind-blowing profits and tech solutions for our clients.
While we’re on the subject of the divergence between high tech/Musk and MAGA, I received an email from We the Patriots USA. They state in their email that despite Elon Musk’s apparent commitment to free speech, “we have been consistently censored since he took the helm, perhaps worse than ever before. That’s because Musk never really made a commitment to free speech. In fact – as I also pointed out in the thread – in November 2022, he publicly declared that X (then Twitter) would have a new policy: “freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach.”
“But there cannot truly be freedom of speech without freedom of reach. If the government told all of us that we could only exercise our right to free speech in deserted places, it’s pretty clear we’d have a slam dunk victory in a First Amendment violation lawsuit. Or, as Gab Founder and CEO Andrew Torba posted just this morning, “You know where you have ‘freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach?’ Prison.”
Sundance did express great concern about Musk FROM THE BEGINNING EVEN BEFORE TRUMP DECIDED TO INCLUDE HIM IN THE CAMPAIGN.
It appears that we now have TWO separate indicators of the divergence in interests between MAGA and Musk.
That statement by Torba is stupid, because you don’t have freedom of speech in prison either.
This argument needs to happen. Elon and Vivek have and will continue to do great work in the revival of America. But they are not the only voices for the cause. Sundance is their equal (where were they in 2020?) having put in the work he has enormous cred and he eloquently points out the fallacy at the heart of their argument.
Vivek thinks we are engineer poor. In 1899 Wilbur Wright was staring at a carboard bicycle innertube box. He envisioned interesting wing control options. In 1903 they were using powered flight. What was India up to in 1899?
We’re talking about right now, not over 120 years ago.
Why am I not surprised? Nice teeth though. Maybe he can get a job flogging for Crest.
Bernie has a point
V & E apparently lack a sense of timing. Bad timing for them. Good timing for patriots. Best we settle this right now.
Should have waited until 1.21 or thereafter.
MAGA Patriots rule the day. No matter what they bring to the table, they are OUR guest. You’re aren’t hired to step outside your designated lanes.
Kirk and Bannon spoke against the them. Everyone is.
Americans First, to quote YOU President.
Don’t misstep on this one, Prez.
We won’t ever take 2nd or 3rd place again.
Never.
Fight! Fight! Fight! For what is rightfully ours.
Thank you for being our example.
It’s all about us with your leading. We’ve taken our country back.
Reign them in.
Hope RFKJr takes heed.
This was a stupid own goal by Musk et al but it needn’t escalate into the deep-state-desired GOP circular firing squad resulting in the baby being thrown out with the bathwater. These guys are not in the legislature. Scold them, get them back in the DOGE lane, then move on.
There are never Trumpers just sitting and waiting for this. There are thoser that think onlyRon could be President and do it all perfectly right now.
There are dem neverTrumpers with TDS that are itching for diviaion.
This issue is giving them what they want. No one ever thought that it would be perfect. Unless you think they are 100% plants to make Trump look bad. Why add to the X war of divide?
These are not Christian men. And not being Christian men, they can only be aligned with he who is the enemy of God. And yes, it really is THAT simple.
“For what does it profit men that they gain the whole world, yet forfeit their souls in the process?”
-God, as Jesus the man
LOLOLOL, They want these HB1 visa workers who in many cases are the lower level programmers and tech types, not the HIGH POWERED ENGINEERS WHO ARE BROUGHT IN UNDER A TOTALLY DIFFERENT VISA!!! The Silicon Valley Titans want them so they can undercut and depress wages!!! The H1B types have VERY LITTLE RIGHTS BEING NON AMERICAN CITIZENS AND TAKE WHAT THEY ARE GIVEN!!! 🥴
When stealing from Americans, it helps to lambaste them.
The petals are falling from the ruse.
Now we know what Elon and Vivek think of Americans abilities.
We don’t pretend here and when people show you who they are, believe them.
I don’t have an account on x and now I never will.
For President Trump. These brilliant elites were extremely helpful with your campaign. Please remember that we so called lazies with mud on our boots and shirts soaked with sweat, single mothers working two jobs, and other working class honorable people are the ones who cast the votes that made you president. Elon and Vivek need to be taken to the woodshed for a humility lesson. Looks like we are heading for a new government that looks down on its people. So sad!
