If the government “shuts down” but nobody notices, is it really a shutdown?
After a group of 38 republicans aligned with almost all democrats in the house, the effort to raise the debt ceiling and fund government failed.
Unbeknownst to most, the debt ceiling was suspended in Jun of 2023. As a result, Joe Biden and congress could spend on Ukraine without worry about the debt ceiling being a hurdle. The UniParty suspended the debt ceiling with a purpose.
Starting Jan 1st, 2025, the debt ceiling issue is scheduled to return. National debt will be whatever it was when the debt ceiling was suspended plus whatever spending Biden and the UniParty did since June of 2023. A new debt ceiling is estimated to be hit by June of 2025 or earlier.
President Trump told Speaker Mike Johnson -using the CR as a vehicle- to push the restart of the debt ceiling back for 2 years. This would allow for continuance of the tax cuts that President Trump wants to make; plus, economic drivers like no tax on tips, no tax on social security, no tax on overtime, a 15% tax bracket for companies who build, invest and manufacture in the USA. Expanding the economy is the goal.
Our government considers tax cuts as government spending. So, if congress does $4 trillion in tax cuts, the government considers that $4 trillion in additional spending.
The debt ceiling reinitiating next year will make President Trump have to figure out how to pass the tax cuts without going over the debt ceiling and triggering a default.
By not moving the non-existent debt ceiling back two more years, the 38 “true conservatives” stopped the American people from getting more of our money returned via tax cuts and they keep more money in the government.
DOGE was planned to come in under the Trump plan to reduce the size of government at the same time ultimately addressing the issue of the 38 conservatives.
WASHINGTON DC – […] Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) told a gaggle of reporters outside of the speaker’s office that the bill they plan to put forth would likely be similar to the Donald Trump-backed version that failed on the House floor by a wide margin Thursday evening. She said the vote was planned for 10 a.m.
“I think we’re very close to a deal,” she said, adding that it’s “very close to President Trump’s plan yesterday.”
Johnson and House conservatives are huddling in his office Friday morning as a government shutdown deadline looms in less than 24 hours. Separately, House Democrats are scheduled to have a closed-door meeting later in the morning as they wait to see what happens next. (more)
Panic! Government will shut down if Congress doesn’t pass a funding bill!
That’s how most media cover it.
But during previous shut downs, what terrible things happened? None!
Life went on. Government demonstrated how needless most of it is.
I made this video about that: pic.twitter.com/NIPYeO2r6X
— John Stossel (@JohnStossel) December 20, 2024

Well looks like a deal was passed. Darn. Guess we’ll have a bird flu pandemic after all.
Like I said, if there is a Bird Flu, I will be fine. I have filled multiple bird feeders daily in the middle of the Great Florida Birding Trail for a decade. And I am still here.
It’s okay. I still have my Covid decorations up. A feather here, a feather there . . . Voila!
🤣
Until there is drastic change in US government, in one form or another, every CR will pass.
I always stock up on antibiotics, HCQ, IVM, Zinc, vitamins, inhalers, nebulizer etc.. in case of a shortage. No vaccines for me! My natural immunity is in good shape.
If I need anything, no need for me to run to the nearest witch doctor. Everything I want or need is right there in my own medicine cabinet.
My advice? Be proactive and steer clear of the managed care hospitals.
Big win for Trump in Congress
He first blocked the AWFUL CR.
He now has a clean one, with no Democrat pork or member pay raise, including massive economic and disaster aid for farmers and states affected by the hurricanes.
He cut the bill 95% in length down from 1,500 pages.
He eliminated the J6 Committee protection provision and cut out a state department agency associated with censorship.
He is already running Congress before he takes office!
Nope, tons of trash in this bill, nothing we wanted. GOP got rolled.
“Nope”
Noticing?
No sources were provided. Not reasons were given. Just an implied one word Appeal to Authority aka a Logical Fallacy that hopefully was so weak it didn’t work.
“Tons of trash”
Same as above plus emotionally manipulative words
“nothing we wanted”
Noticing the implied ability to read minds?
Noticing the decision to use a plural pronoun, “we”, rather than the singular “I” ie implying the authority to speak for every CTH reader rather than having the courage plus humility, to speak just for themself when expressing their opinion?
“The GOP got rolled”
Noticing the ending == formulaic GOP (not DNC/Dem) hate bate?
Noticing the ending, like the beginning, lacks sources and reasons?
Bottom line, I truly enjoy, and learn something from, every “How PsyWar Savvy Are You?” test I encounter. Even the really easy ones.
Hopefully other MAGA Hearteds do too. 😘
Excellent analysis! Please keep doing this!
Don’t encourage the local Karen.
She sees psy ops while eating her granola.
That is the best time to see psy ops, early.
The Soros employee speaks. Only a fool engages the three card monte con man. Nice try but you really believe you can pull this kind of crap after decades of this bs. There hasn’t been a balanced budget since the late 50s. We are treated to endless CRs, all is “hate bait.” submitted at the last minute. Who of you would sign a mortgage agreement that was three Bibles long and given three hours to read it? The loser tells us that Congress exempting itself from the laws it inflicts on the American people. You must be a gender studies major, describing such actions as “hate bait.” Really sweetie, oh where are my pearls?
And the comedy show we witnessed was because most Americans hated the clown show they witnessed, so quit the act, yes those who attack this fraud are speaking for masses of Americans and the GOP responded to this massive pressure. So cut out the bs.
As for “noticing the ability to read minds” YOU clearly must be able to. Rarely have I witnessed such arrogance and condensending attitudes from one who demonstrates their education, knowledge, and experience in a way that insures all who have the endurance and tolerance for pain to complete your braying. that you must either be a gender studies major or a DEI instructor. I stand amazed at your endless citation of sources that you use to attack your victim. Typical Alinsky. The bill sucks. Endless spending endless debt.
How bad is it. ALmost 2 trillion more, Only dolts and anarchists, and it is clear that you fall into both categories would cheer this bill.
If the government pays the debt back at a million dollars every hour it would take 125 years to repay one trillion. We were at 36 trillion, this bill insure s it will hit 38 trillion and more ever higher. So our resident fount of wisdom says “this is a great bill.”
Really sunshine. 38×125 years to repay this debt. Never happen.
But nations that wind up like this end up with a French, Russian, Chinese revolution at least or in lesser cases they become basket cases. 15 years ago 4 nillion Bolivars equaled a million dollars. Today this won’t buy you a cup of coffee. Look at what the Iraqi dinar, the Zimbabwe dollar, the Weimar DM were worth. Hint, toilets warned against their use as toilet paper. Mexico has devalued its currency at least 4 times officially since 1980. The Russian ruble was worth 25 cents in 2001. Today its worth less than one cent. Our currency has been destroyed by inflation. Because this is how governments deal with debt. In 1958 you could buy a slice of pizza for 15 cents today its $3. In 2005 an once of silver cost $4. Today its $31.
Governments love inflation. Your buying power is destroyed by inflation so what $100 used to buy now takes $140. But your wages increased so the government can tax you more while you buying power evaporates. Only an Obamaista could support such economics.
So put a lid on it comrade. The experts are idiots and liars. You are just another Obamaista. Now go inform on those evil parents ast a school board meeting or bug a church.
1567 pages of crap is gone, including subpoena/investigation protection for Congress.
Whittled down to 120 pages of farm and disaster aid.
But yeah, go on about how we got rolled.
In my opinion, same with the debt limit. There is time for that between now and next year. We now have quite a number of politicians on record as wanting government spending cut. We also have quite a number of politicians on notice that we are done with stuffing bills full of nonsense because they cannot do their jobs properly.
The debt ceiling can be dealt with and so will the tax cuts. Pressure needs to be kept up.
In my eyes, DOGE is the real prize here.
It looks like a big win to me as well. I’m not ready to jump into the deep end of the Doom and Gloom Pool just yet.
If the Senate passes this bill to Dementia Joe and his caregiver signs it, that’s a win. Massive pork was removed from the original bill.
If the Senate rejects the bill, we get a government shutdown courtesy of the Demoncrat wing of the UniParty. That’s a win.
As a bonus, the RepubliCon wing of the UniParty exposed themselves as corrupt degenerates to the whole world. There will be consequences.
God didn’t bring President Trump to this moment just to let him crash and burn before his inauguration. Have faith and wait on the Lord.
Yup the Dems were crying in their beer and leaping off the 90th floor in despair. They got everything they wanted. The GOP got rolled. Nothing changes.
Does it still have a suspension of the debt ceiling for 2 more years?
“And he got the fiscal conservatives to pre agree to raise the debt limit via reconciliation. ”
This was in lieu of the debt ceiling suspension. I believe he will hold them to it.
“Does it still have a suspension of thedebt ceiling for two more years?”
Unfortunately, NO.
While Congress suspended their pretend “debt ceiling” rule for pResident Biden; a suspension slated to end 19 days before President Trumps second term officially begins, when PDJT wanted the suspension to be extended, for many MAGA positive reasons, of course the Congressional Swamp wouldn’t do it.
Then, as a fascinating piece de resistance finale, The Swamp deployed a multi front psywarfare campaign to convince politically engaged but still paywar vulnerable Trump voters to convince them to actually cheer for and praise the so called “principled fiscal conservatives” who helped the Swamp pull off their FU Trump Op.
Unfortunately for The Swamp, based on the past 9+ years, today’s cheers will soon turn into years and years of increasingly bitter tears.
Wow pretend ceiling. What law school did Miss Sunshine graduate from? I’ve seen better propaganda when Baghdad Bob was telling us the Marines had been crushed after we entered Baghdad. One3 wonders one accomplishment of this bill that little Miss Sunshine is so enamored of. You fail as badly as toilet brush head neither presenting a coherent argument nor providing a disciplined reasoning to support your fantasies. But you do sound like a Biden adviser. And all the glib phrases, so Alinsky. As if you ever served. Well conmen gotta lie and grifters need the gullible.
No one has seen the new document. But one thing is certain, it appears despite a 90% reduction in physical size, the corresponding spending remained the same. It appears the pay raise went through; no word on the Congress avoiding supuenas; the Francis Scott Key bridge fraud; or all those emergency disaster funds (the ones used for illegal aliens) on top of the endless funding of the Ukraine.
The con goes on. When they present a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution I’ll believe the swamp. Till then I know there are only 38 GOP types that are true Americans. The rest are citizens of the swamp.
yeah but that “pre-agreement” ain’t gonna hold. The “promise” to fiscal conservatives was $2.5T in “mandatory” spending, ie, medicare/social security. That would violate one of Trump’s original, repeated campaign promises. So, trouble still lurks on that front.
I have to believe he knows what he’s doing this time around.
Congress and Senate are NOT in his corner, but President Trump does know how to leverage.
I agree. I just don’t think the “pre-agreement” implicating mandatory spending will hold. But Trump obviously knows that. He’ll solve things as needed given the timing he has to work with.
Thank you BbR!! Great news!
“And he got the fiscal conservatives to pre agree to raise the debt limit via reconciliation.”
Full steam ahead with the PDJT MAGA agenda!
“MIKE JOHNSON CAVED AGAIN: Breaks Promise on Split Spending Bills, Excludes Trump’s Demand for a Debt Ceiling Increase in Backroom Deal with Democrats to Avoid Shutdown”
There trying to weaken Trump and end or weaken the MAGA movement as well.

I really do not like Slippery Johnson anymore.
Bad feels for a Screen World stranger who President Trump still views as a helpful ally?
PsyWar damage from engaging with political “news” deployers besides Light Hearteds like President Trumo, perchance?
Perhaps, when bad feels about a far away stranger are noticed, try out “The Serenity Prayer” response ie by praying rather than preying and continuing to emotionallypiison oneself?
Huh?
Say off the drugs. You sound like Harris and its really too funny, and the word salads are getting really dull.
This Sux!
I think that President Trump and Speaker Johnson came to an agreement with the removal of the debt ceiling language just to get this thing passed in the House; Schumer is already promising to have it fail in the Senate, and if so – this is all just drama and think, if President Trump and Speaker Johnson did indeed have an understanding most likely it is because they know that Schumer is going to see anything the House passed blocked, so not a loss at all –
This all is so high school, blaming each other because Tommy didn’t ask Becky to the Prom as someone told her she overheard him talking to his friend about asking her out, knowing full well as she was telling Becky this that it was all a lie simply because she didn’t want her friend Becky to be sad. Or something like that. It’s no different than what we see with the Freedom Caucus pounding their chests knowing all the while that Schumer now gets to play his song and dance games.
I love this txt and your sound mind/ reasonable thinking. Merry Christmas
I agree. The pundit version was quickly released but more info has come forward. Johnson’s full comments are in video above.
Below–not above.
Or…….As above, so below.
H/t Christ. No h/t for Aleister Crowley
Not likely after every Dem in the House voted for it.
It will not fail in the senate. Wanna bet give you 3-1 odds. Schumer knows what happens in a few weeks. He’ll insure its passage.
Note–After I posted this Pundit version, I read many other opinions etc that have a far more positive opinion on the new Bill including that P Trump is satisfied with it.
I ❤ TGP, possibly because they remind me of a digital MAGA National Enquirerish tabloid.
Plus, for some reason, I react to their obviously over the top, emotionally manipulative click bait titles with bemused chuckles rather than annoyance.
TGP is obviously a quick source for multiple stories. I find I glance at it a few times a day – and they do link some good stuff ( i.e. -the IG Report in full ) but does it not bother you when they misspell the simplest of words. They are media. They should know how to spell. It bothers me.
edit for spelling ha!
Tell the truth you write Harris’s speeches don’t you?
Here is the text, in pdf format, of the Continuing Resolution the House passed today; this one is 118 pages (the one that failed yesterday was 116 pages); in speed reading it appears the main difference is this one removed the debt ceiling language that President Trump had asked for.
https://docs.house.gov/billsthisweek/20241216/ARA%2012.20.pdf
Which now puts a Trumpian laser pointer light on “the debt ceiling language President Trump had asked for” but the Congress just refused to give him….
even though they’d given it to Joe.
Which can lead to people asking why not.
😂😂😂
Joe Biden’s bedtime is 8 PM so the government will shut down at midnight tonight.
Biden’s days don’t even START until 11:30am much of the time.
It’s going to be another weekend at Bidens.
We only have to keep pretending for a few more days.
It’s been a long 4 years.
😍
So glad you shared this.
So glad I took a few secs to watch it.
Light Hearted laughter == the best medicine; especially for purging psyop induced emotional poisons.
Chuck Schumer says the bill will be passed before midnight.
Surprise, surprise, surprise. The GOP got so rolled. And the usual idiots are telling us what a wonderous bill this is.
Not sure I can survive the night with the federal government shut down.
Waiting for sundance’s opinion on this as there are many angry and other satisfied
Damn sure waiting for Sundances’ take on this. Is this a way to shed sunlight on those that are “MINO” (MAGA in name only)? I feel that Trump is setting a trap of some kind. Hope I’m correct. Time will tell. Until then we rock on with “Making America Great AGAIN”!!!
“Trump is setting a trap of some sort”
Or he’s setting multiple traps or many sorts, perchance?
Did one particularly sanctimonious RAT from Texas already take Trumps bait without fully realuzing yet what that means?
Fun times ahead for some. Hard times ahead for others.
Yup that rat is aiming to be governor or more. But then again there is a one eyed rat that needs to be shown the door. He’s been on his knees before Obama way too much. Let’s keep Boy’s Town safe for Obama and his posse.
Did they remove the part where the Critters get a heads up to remove their data before being investigated?
It’s my understanding that that is removed, but I’ve only skimmed.
If it had been removed Johnson would be boasting of it to protect himself. The silence is deafening.
Yes, that is all gone; it is as clean a continuing resolution as this existing Congress could conceivably pass. No raises for Congress, the J6 committee isn’t home free from their games, the censorship group isn’t being funded but farmers are, hurricane relief funding is there, the various medicare/medicaid/snap programs are funded, and the things that needed to be funded are funded.
Really? And the biowarfare labs? No word on congress being exempt from their own laws or even their request to be exempt from Obamacare. What is more concerning is what we do no. Emergency relief fund were used for illegal aliens not Americans. Now they want more? Relief for farmers probably means Cargill and ConAgra not small farms. After all these lies who can trust these losers. What about the expansion in DEI funding and endless funding for the Ukraine. Nada.
Wanna by the poke, guaranteed you’ll love it, just give me a certified check then you can open it.
They haven’t said anything so I’d bet its still there.
Now that the third-try funding bill passed and the immediate “crisis” (cough, cough) is over, with funding secured through March 2025, there is absolutely no valid reason why congress cannot declare itself in recess immediately after January 20th so Trump can get ALL his appointees onboard immediately.
Regarding the House bill that passed. If indeed it was “simple” spending and some sort of debt ceiling thing AND only about 110 pages (down from 1,500) and it didn’t have some of that non money stuff like can’t subpoena congress for J6 stuff, more mandates, more censorship, etc, then it was a HUGE win. This bill was 90% less than the original. When was the last time a continuing resolution bullsh!t bill was less than 1,000 pages?
Of course I await seeing the details, but it seems it may be a huge change in the normal procedure.
When Trump came out swinging asking to lift the debt ceiling limit as part of the CR — I honestly wondered if that was intended to either win BIG — or to position a “compromise” which is status quo CR + farm/disaster relief, which is what we got. In other words, seeing the dynamics at play, Trump saw this as the landing zone and so devised a “going-in” position that would set up the result he wanted.
Full accountability here — I thought it was a bad idea that wouldn’t work and that a holiday “shutdown” would become a drag on Trump’s momentum even before inauguration. I’m still stunned the dems went for this. For those here worrying that it means it’s really a “crap” bill if it got this much dem support — NO IT’S NOT. It’s a win for Trump, where a win didn’t seem likely. Consider that 30 or so members of his OWN PARTY were never budging. The dynamics gave dems serious leverage, and yet somehow Trump managed to get the status quo for two months into his presidency and the farm/disaster relief that’s expensive but important for some red states/congressional members.
He was never going to get the debt ceiling too. Unfortunately the Uniparty screwed him a long time ago by “suspending” it until January 2025. The debt limit is leverage for both dems and the hold-out republicans, and neither is going to just hand it over because Trump asked for it. That’s why I truly think he may have gamed this outcome from the start.
As for Elon I still wish he’d take a seat or at least take a Xanax. We don’t need Elon or the President’s comms team having to explain to the public that something was the President’s idea, not Elon’s. Elon is no President Trump, and MAGA’s exuberant embrace of all things Elon has me queasy. Elon helped the campaign. Good for him but so did many others, and Elon hasn’t earned any public trust.
It may have gotten alot of dem support because it was just spending. Apparently, none of the bullsh!t fake stuff. They couldn’t very well claim victim if they realize people can actually read a 150 page bill in about an hour. A major benefit to them of a 1,500 page bill is the shear drudgery to try and read it.
Republicans (true Republicans) should see this as an excellent tactic going forward. Short easy bills to read. Can’t hide fake stuff.
And what evidence do you have that the pork was eliminated since the totals appear to be the same in all versions of the bills. Odd that.
I agree and think the same that this was Trump’s plan going into this mess.
He likely knew the left couldn’t help themselves and would lard it up with pork. He may have even expected RINO’s to expose themselves with the same requests.
The left then started loudly complaining about the usual stuff, seniors, farmers, hurricane victims, veterans, etc. When faced with a much smaller bill that would fund those things and keep government open, they had no choice.
“Elon hasn’t earned any public trust.”
Maybe not. But does he have to?
The one thing Musk does possess is an abundant amount of public curiosity . That is to say, the cell phone dwellers pause and pay attention to him when, for whatever reason, he happens to pop up on their cell phone screen. The next thing you know is all the cell phone dwellers are commenting on the latest thing Elon said. Just like that , message sent
Do you have any idea how many cell phone dwellers there are? How about a gazillion. All of them furiously beating their thumbs on that little glass screen . The vast majority of voting age
Elon, to me, is a new force in politics that is yet to be fully recognized and Trump I think is trying to corral it.
Expressed in emojis, my reaction to reading this upbeat, reality grounded analysis of this weeks “DC CR Soap Opera” and what genius tier negotiator, PDJT, may have been up to == ❤ 😊 😍
Fwiw, which may not be much…..
When it comes to Elon, who many people I personally know actually DO trust, in some cases MORE than they trust President Trump……
I apply Corey Lewandowski’s famous mantra, “Let Trump Be Trump”
Hence I totally trust President Trumps Light Hearted wisdom when it comes to Elon despite the already obvious efforts to sabotage their friendship and their partnership.
And I’ve recently added a corollary mantra, “Let Elon Be Elon”.
Bottom line, sending best wishes to you and once again saying, thank you. 😘
The senate has started floor proceedings on the bill.
Rand Paul has an amendment on the floor. So far, everybody besides Senator Paul is voting against it. Schumer gave him no debate time.
There are 2-3 more amendments to go. Schumer almost certainly will give them the same treatment. Schumer says he expects for the bill to pass before midnight.
No debate. No danger of reconciliation.
Earlier today, a couple of senators slammed Schumer of the way he brings votes to the floor without ever allowing debate or without ever giving the senators not exposed to the bill in committee to have a chance to read the bill at all.
Surely, Thune has got to be better.
Maybe Schemer is boxed in a corner. See my comment above. Very short (seemingly “only” spending) readable bill that 320 Million people can read in an hour. He doesn’t pass this and people actually read it to find out what is in it…..he is blamed. “Republicans” would do well to learn from this if indeed it’s a reasonably “decent” CR…….if there could be a decent CR.
Schumer was caught with his pants down. Many Democrats and their media enablers were loudly and very publicly complaining about Republicans not wanting to pass funding for Children’s cancer research.
Right up until it was shown the cancer research funding was passed in the House and sent to the Senate last March where it sat on Schumer’s desk. The Senate did not start to act on it until September. Not sure what it has been doing since, other than sitting on his desk.
I was shocked to see reporting later this evening that the Senate quickly passed that funding bill…as if that was their intention all along.
I apologize. The floor work is on HR 82, the Social Security Fairness Act.
X is inundated with a mix of positive and negative views of the Bill passing the House
Here’s a negative. Madness at Budget time.
Showboating
Spot on.
To me the important part is that they are talking about it
Perhaps Miss Mace is competing to be the next addition to President Trumps “Chip List” ie his list of House Reps to make sure are successfully primaried next year?
Is she trying to become Liz Cheney 2.0?
🍿 🍿 🍿
Over 80% of gov’t payments are on auto-pilot during the ‘so-called shutdown”, so we’re only talking about 15%-20% of the discretionary budget.
Of course, nobody in GOV’T will tell you this.
As for the new
PLANNED-DEMIC
(bird flu)
DO NOT COMPLY
sORRY THISSMACKS OF THE SALES PITCH OF A THREE CARD MONTY CON MAN. tAX cuts are considered spending. Okay, the GOP controls Congress change the rules. Dems don’t like it, shut down all the favorite Demorat subsidies and welfare programs. Why is it that the GOP always plays Mr. Whimp while the Dems act like the Prussia Guard.
By the way it was the idiot GOP that removed tax deductions permanently for temporary tax cuts. Duh, I couldn’t foresee this. Well make the Dems own it. And insure any GOP that doesn’t tow the line is primaried and well funded by the national RNC.
One tires of the GOP kabuki dance.
The last few days were a good class on government corruption. The three card monte con game has been exposed by these shenanigans. Trying to the same old tried and true tricks, Mike Johnson attempted to dump a 1,547 page “continuing resolution” (CR) which should state that current funding will be extended for a specific period of time. Instead it included a 40% pay raise for Congress, funding for government censorship of the public & exemption from our laws for the Congress. Especially for those who mangle the judicial and law enforcement systems on Jan 6 and its aftermath.
The GOP house leadership of the House, Johnson, Scalise, praised the 1500+ pages porker a tough but fair bill. Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy and other conservatives blew it out of the water. Normal people rebelled against a horrible omnibus bill disguised as a CR, filled with pork and secret agreements for the denizens of the swamp.
Immediately, the Obamaistas brayed on about Musk being a quasi-president. Musk does have a great deal of influence and commands respect, something the swamp and the media and its allies do not. This bill would have made protected payments to the Ukraine for the foreseeable future as well as to the usual NGOs and green projects so beloved of the Obamaistas. Worse it funded 14 biowarfare labs and continued government censorship warfare against the American people. It would have funded and protected DEI. Not of these are in the American people’s interests. Who elects representatives and senators to eliminate our God given rights and trample the Constitution? Only those dedicated to the rights and welfare of their donors or special interests like BLM, ANtifa and the endless NGOs who are front groups for individuals with questionable aims. The public knew the same old game was being played and the switchboards melted down with demands to kill the bogus bill. This forced the usual suspects to come back with a mightily scaled-down version of the CR, a 116 page CR that Musk, Ramaswamy and Trump supported, because it added hurricane relief and relief to farmers. The question remains that the FEMA monies were illegally diverted to illegal aliens imported in their millions by the Obamaistas. As for farm relieve, how much are Cargill and corproations getting rather than families? Color me skeptical. 38 House Republicans refused to vote for it and all of the Democrats, who would not get their negotiated goodies, opposed it. The demand is for a clean CR, nothing but an extension.
The important part of this is that the people, those who voted to give the House, the Senate and the White House to Republicans, voted for change, for repudiation of CRs. People hate the waste and pork that wastes money on everything the people detest and fuels inflation to satisfy special interests & their donors. The support of Musk, Ramaswamy and Trump could change that truth. The people are not interested in supporting the endless welfare and pork of the swamp.
People want to see relief for victims of hurricanes , but that can be done outside of a CR. So can relief for farmers abandoned by Joe Biden. The people want the elected 119th Congress to make spending decisions, not the lame-duck 118th. Mike Johnson Speakership is over, too many betrayals and lies.
People want an end to the unelected, unaccountable bureaucracy that tramples on our freedoms. A vast reduction in government spending, regulations and bloated bureaucracies is required.
Above all, those who abused, their powers, trampled the laws, tortured commonsense must be held accountable for their actions. Who authorized flying millions of illegals into the USA? Who authorized and ordered the ignoring of our immigration laws? Who created the police state and used federal agencies as the Stasi?
These issues must be resolved and those urging us to ignore them should be recognized for what they are. For they are the traitors that open the gates of the city to our enemies.
