The overreaction from the corporate division of media with the (1) John Kelly fabrications and the (2) Epstein model accusations are what happens when the leftist rapid response team is desperate and running out of reasonably believable fake material.
Accordingly, when those specific DC leftists get angry, they react against any interest that is even tangentially aligned against them. The timing here is in no way coincidental. They have these operations prepped in the kitchen and trigger them when needed.

There is a certain irony in the progressive argument about pricing when contrast against the inflation they created with COVID-19 response policy. Their Build Back Better / Green New Deal spending spree and subsequent energy policy, in combination with diminished dollar valuation, directly created inflation on a scale that was never seen before in U.S. economic history.
The leftists are now railing against private sector price increases they created with government policy. Of course, in order to advance their ideological agenda, they must pretend not to know things.
Additionally, remember Elizabeth Warren is the person who constructed the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a quasi-legislatively authorized targeting silo established to threaten, blackmail and ultimately coerce payments from the private sector. Warren is essentially the secretary of the CFPB fund, constructed inside government that reaches outside government, to assemble funds that are then repurposed back to leftist community activist groups.
President Trump’s move to showcase the McDonald element of his political attachment to the ‘common working person’, the ordinary American, shattered the well-organized construct and fabrications of him by the leftist deep state. Trump caught them completely unprepared to counter this “blue collar billionaire” move.
They are lashing out desperately against President Trump as he continues to crush their fabricated Kamala Harris construct.

Elizabeth Warren and the others have zero clues about how businesses work.
Ninety percent of all McDonalds outlets are franchisee-owned, not corporate owned. They set their own prices. Local prices are not determined from on-high at corporate HQ.
That’ been the cornerstone of their corporate success. The company sells the owner their own franchise. The owner is a semi-independent business. Semi as they’re still required to do most things corporate’s way, but need to set pricing per local market conditions. That company didn’t make money selling burgers. They shifted over to the real estate business, owning the land the store sits on and leasing it to the franchise owner.
Franchise owners are required to buy their food and supplies from McDonalds corporation and that corporation is in control of the pricing of that.
That certainly affects prices local franchise owners charge for their product to the consumer.

This letter to McDonalds could turn into the very vehicle that a corporation needed to finally put an end to that CFSB (Consumer Financial Services Bureau) that was created to give Pocahontas a lifetime billet living off government funding since this is the only agency in our nation, created by Congress, that bypasses all oversight of funding sources since the funding comes from the fines it imposes along with funding from, I think, the federal reserve, which Congress does not control the purse-strings of so therefore no government oversight possible.

It’s so interesting how the Democrats eat their own. Since at least 2014, all McDonald’s CEOs, including top and middle management, were liberal Democrats supporting woke policies, DEI, and Democrat politicians with their PAC money. They even moved their beautiful headquarters from the Oak Brook campus to downtown Chicago where they were more comfortable among their radical peeps. In a Capitalistic economy, the consumer dictates what a fair price is for food away from home, not a Senator from the DC swamp.
These radical Democrat politicians have no problem with the Government telling a private business owner what the minimum wage should be, but they a have big problem with the business owner setting the prices for his product and letting the consumer make the final decision with their credit card.

In CA the minimum wage for fast food workers is $20 per hour.
I’m fairly certain that that labor factor is driving much of the need to increase prices in CA.

Yesterday, I purchased a chicken sandwich and the deal was that I could get another one for $1.00. I also got an order of fries for $2. and a med drink. I believe my bill was around $5.25. That fed me and my grandson. I was not dining at the French Laundry or even the Olive Garden. I understood how to read the menu and find it totally outrageous that McD has become the target of the D.C. elite.
