The overreaction from the corporate division of media with the (1) John Kelly fabrications and the (2) Epstein model accusations are what happens when the leftist rapid response team is desperate and running out of reasonably believable fake material.
Accordingly, when those specific DC leftists get angry, they react against any interest that is even tangentially aligned against them. The timing here is in no way coincidental. They have these operations prepped in the kitchen and trigger them when needed.

There is a certain irony in the progressive argument about pricing when contrast against the inflation they created with COVID-19 response policy. Their Build Back Better / Green New Deal spending spree and subsequent energy policy, in combination with diminished dollar valuation, directly created inflation on a scale that was never seen before in U.S. economic history.
The leftists are now railing against private sector price increases they created with government policy. Of course, in order to advance their ideological agenda, they must pretend not to know things.
Additionally, remember Elizabeth Warren is the person who constructed the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a quasi-legislatively authorized targeting silo established to threaten, blackmail and ultimately coerce payments from the private sector. Warren is essentially the secretary of the CFPB fund, constructed inside government that reaches outside government, to assemble funds that are then repurposed back to leftist community activist groups.
President Trump’s move to showcase the McDonald element of his political attachment to the ‘common working person’, the ordinary American, shattered the well-organized construct and fabrications of him by the leftist deep state. Trump caught them completely unprepared to counter this “blue collar billionaire” move.
They are lashing out desperately against President Trump as he continues to crush their fabricated Kamala Harris construct.

One of the main reasons is the difficulty in getting employees plus having to pay them $13-$15 Per hour just to take orders and work the register. Look at California where they mandated a $20 per hour minimum wage.

EVERY Chic-Fil-A we passed or stopped to buy a meal had what looked like 100 cars wrapped around the building and out in the street. I believe some of the franchises did not expect the outpouring of love and actually ran out of food. It was an amazing sight, and I was mesmerized. I’ve been more and more skeptical of the Means duo as I see more of their book and side information from some who are jumping on their bandwagon.
I got that Yuka app (though I refuse the paid version) and am not that impressed so far. For one thing they rate some additives as poison worse than added sugar in foods that don’t need any sugar to begin with. I need better information.
In particular the Means duo claim processed food is engineered to be addictive. Since I stopped sugar 10 years ago very few processed foods “call” to me any more. However I have yet to read what exactly the basis of that claim is. I am open to learning more but not finding solid answers yet.
Also I noticed that the Good Energy book was tending almost 100% paleo, sort of dumping on whole grains, whole rice, unadulterated corn – any foods with starch.
Of course I do agree that the current Big Food versions of all of these foods are bad. But human beings have eaten (real) bread and the rest of these foods for centuries. I’m not ready to throw that baby out with their bathwater.

There was a meme going around yesterday that President Trump fixed the ice cream machine.
I was in McD’s Monday for my usual double filet O’ fish, person in front of me wanted ice cream something … “our ice cream machine is broken” … could barely contain my laughter.
I have little doubt that Trump could / would find someone to fix those machines or find ones that do not have whatever problem they seem to fail from.
If the repair personnel are employed by McD’s or separate contract vendor either way they need to be “Your McFired”.

Were I a franchisee, I would want the ice cream machine functional …. it’s a high profit margin item, as all deserts are in restaurants.
The Filet o’ Fish was my long time favorite but I stopped ordering them, the last couple of times I ordered one (from two different locations) the taste was “off” or they were overdone. Arby’s has a very good fish sandwich however they only offer it in the spring.

These Leftist clowns like Warren and Wyden apparently don’t even know that their own CPI Index excludes food and fuel costs. So, of course restaurant price increases will tend to be higher than the CPI. Wasn’t it Obama who changed that CPI formula?
And that doesn’t even account for CA’s $20 minimum wage, which sends costs even higher.
For once I don’t think it was the Obammunist. I remember the CPI leaving those things out for many years before that.
