In 1981, residents of Skidmore, Missouri killed the town bully in front of multiple witnesses.
No one was charged. When asked, several residents said he “needed killing.”

I graduated myself from FSU in the 70s, and after a few months of visiting our daughters at college we moved there. We were there for 14 years, North FL was a vast relief after the mess Orlando is. Due to family needs we are back in Central FL, but I miss North FL. As my wife and I always said, it wasn’t on the beaten path of northerners looking for palm trees and beaches. That’s why it was a relief.

As a former resident of OH, I have detested Little Mikey DeWine for years. He’s a huge opportunist and no Trump supporter. I haven’t figured out if he supported J. D. Vance in his run for US Senate or not, but it’s no skin off DeWine’s nose as he got to serve in the US Senate for two terms.
The OH Republican Party has a certain stench about it. Remember back when Leslie Wexner (owner of The Limited women’s fashion store chain) was a huge benefactor of candidates like former Gov. John Kasich, while also, unknown to most, hosting Jeffrey Epstein at his estate in C’bus and letting Epstein use a NYC mansion to entertain the likes of Prince Andrew. As soon as it was evident that Donald Trump was going to be the Republican candidate for President in 2016, Wexner loudly proclaimed that he was re-registering as an Independent! Wexner’s name is all over hospitals and Ohio State U. buildings in Columbus.
So there are many Ohio Republicans who are squishy when it comes to Trump, like US Senate dropout Rob Portman. What I thought was fairly cool, though, was what a great RNC was held in Cleveland OH, of all places, in 2016. The locals, including lots of Democrats, made everyone feel welcome, from what my friends told me who were volunteers there. Trump remarked on this, too, and made one of the last stops of his campaign in the city. That RNC is where Ted Cruz’s presidential aspirations crashed, too. Don’t forget that Donald Trump won Ohio in all THREE of his presidential elections, which is probably another reason he chose J.D. Vance for Veep.

I remember when I got out of the Marines in 79, I was looking for a job in a small Ohio city and was not finding anything. But after talking to some friends, I find out that the company’s were hiring Vietnam refugees, leaving the locals out of work.

I believe the illegal Haitian ballots will be counted in the election. I don’t know what to call it, but it looks like vote or ballot laundering….with the help of the church. To cut to the chase, the churches are being paid to do the fraud leg work. I just watched an interview where the pastor in Springfield Ohio admitted that they get paid to sign housing contracts (I’m also guessing ballots) on behalf of the Haitians. What church would deny this money?
