On Thursday the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Government, held its first hearing. I have not yet had time to listen to the full testimony of all witnesses, but it looks like the subcommittee is working to narrow the focus of their investigation and oversight by identifying the most critical issues.
In an unusual twist Senator Chuck Grassley and Senator Ron Johnson gave testimony to the House subcommittee to include their own experience with investigations of how the DOJ and FBI have weaponized their institutions against the American people and even against congressional oversight. Full video below:
If you watched the full hearing, or if you have identified key questioning that you feel is relevant to the larger issues bearing further investigation, please identify those segments so that we can all benefit.
I am hopeful this subcommittee will deliver sunlight through the testimony and deposition of key witnesses. However, knowing how most congressional oversight committees tend to wander, miss and omit the key issue(s), we need to identify the motive of this specific committee through the action we can document and cite. I hope to complete watching the entire testimony by the end of the day today.
“At its core, this is the political game, the accumulation of power to go after one’s enemies. The GOP remains painfully slow in realizing the true aims of the Democratic Party on this issue. They have increased their grip on institutions and cultural centers for this purpose.
It’s only due to Trump that they’ve unleashed their Gestapo—the FBI—to target anyone who dares question their version of America, which is woke, broke, and devoid of opportunity because that’s what Marxism is one you peel back the layers of Trotskyite nonsense. Maybe they’re seeing that we’re learning that indictments aren’t the goal.
No one thinks Wray or Garland will be charged or impeached. It’s about the probe and how it acts like a radioactive isotope against its target, the slow decay of one’s reputation. There’s no better way to kneecap an opponent than engulf them in a federal maze of investigation against a foe, the DOJ, which has unlimited legal resources to destroy lives.
The GOP says they’re willing to go to war against that enemy from within. Do they have the chutzpah to follow through and finish what could be a very long, torturous conflict with the enforcement arm of the political class?”

JMO.
“GOP” is an antiquated term from bygone eras describing “non-democrats.”
When the writer uses the term “GOP”, is he referring to the “GOPe RINOs “ or “President Trump’s MAGA Movement?”
In the 2023 vernacular, the “non-democrats” are separated between the “GOPe RINOs” and the “President Trump’s MAGA Movement.”

Uh-huh.
I like using terms from bygone eras.
For example,
I like using the terms” he” and “she”.
10-4
Like “Miss and Mrs.”
I have been fighting the DOJ side of this for over ten years. With little help. If I can take them on, Congress better. Of course, my phone hasn’t been ringing so I am not hopeful they are doing a damn thing.
“The DHS, ODNI, DOJ and FBI became the four pillars of this new institution. Atop these pillars is where you will find the Fourth Branch of Government.” Sundance
Elise Stefanik at 1:41:36 mentions the four pillars. She traces the ‘continuity’ of the FBI/DOJ’s mischief through James Baker’s role in unlawfully investigating Donald Trump, interfering in the 2016 election, later attempting to drive him out of office, and his role doing the same at Twitter, meddling in the 2020 election.
How could one expect such a politically captured and corrupt DOJ/FBI to investigate the on the ground and very visible election fraud that took place in 2020—ie 2000 Mules, Georgia ballot stuffing caught on camera, cured ballots being trucked from NY to PA, voting machines that were rigged like holding two sets of books—instead, investigations were conducted by patriot citizens who were themselves targeted for doing so.
The FBI paid Twitter, they paid Danchenko, they offered money to Steele, they participated in a money-sucking Specious Counsel all with the same objective—stop Donald Trump. These hearings must not lose sight of this fact.
A second term was stolen from a successful President using taxpayer dollars. The country has suffered because of it. Restitution must be made through this Committee, especially to the man who should still be the President or the country is lost.
The country IS lost.

Speaking of weaponizing the government. This is a photo op picture. FBI now seems to be manufacturing headlines to win back trust of the American people.
Look at this immaculately placed specially made banner hanging where no one but photographers who a re let near the crime scene will see it. It can serve no purpose other than PR. No one needing to be warned about what is going there would see the sign or be allowed close enough to read it. But it is perfect for the picture taken, being placed behind the police tape

The exposure of these individual acts and actions of the US government against it’s citizens is great, but the issue of what can be done about it seems pretty hazy. Grassley and Johnson have been on this for years but to my knowledge very little has been done to punish or remove those guilty of the actions. The dims on this committee are a disgrace. Unless there is a plan for the House to defund the doj and fbi, it’s hard to see how organizations so corrupt can be changed under the current fraudulent administration.
An alternative security regime is needed to give competition to the Bureau and Art. II agencies. This new alternative security service must be one supervised by both Congress and the 50 states. It must have investigatory and arrest powers, and it must have its own Art. III courts to handle these special cases. Jurisdiction stripping must be part of the authorizing laws.
Those powers all exist today, and Congress simply has to write the enabling legislation to make it happen. The dormant Militia clauses in the Constitution can be worked by legislation to form whatever institution is needed. Congress can make whatever subordinate courts are needed.
This is a Black Swan move, and I am surprised no one is pushing this. Get this idea trending and we’ll see who in the House and Senate has the gonads to make this a reality.

Hope this conversation will bring more perspectives
All this government criminality, decay and corruption
did not happen overnight. It has been a long, slow
march to the bottom.
How do they “take down” these crazed groups and rogue agents? First of all, they aren’t “rogue.” They are 100% approved from the top down. Also (and I’m getting really sick of saying it), only the Executive Branch can prosecute. The Biden/Obama gang will never arrest themselves.
We’re in a political checkmate, folks. This House investigation will do nothing but demoralize us even more, since no one will be prosecuted.
I wish someone, ideally a State governor(s), would start offering real solutions against this tyranny.
The Republicans are over the target. Democrats are shooting up whatever flak is available to bring down the Republican Missiles.
Congress might end up having to impound funds to get the DOJ/FBI cooperate, prosecute and imprison some of these bad guys.
Congress includes the Senate which has dem majority and with RINO republican senators supporting dems, they have a super majority. No help is coming from Congress.
I hope these whistleblowers are rewarded.
I also believe they need to share their experiences in bringing these issues forward.
Why only now?
I couldn’t help but look for Goudy on that oval dias in the House conference room… I’m sure Jordan won’t disappoint with theatrics and “gotchas”, just like Goudy. And like Benghazi or Hillary’s emails, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. Call me jaded, but I’ve seen too many of these staged performances.
At 02:21:00 Debbie Wassermann Schultz appears on the House
Weaponization Subcommittee, as the Florida Rep. for the 25th
Congressional District, which no doubt was a redistricting election
miracle. DeSantis is often mired with praise from the GOP for his
amazing red tsunami results in Florida. Why would the Governor, who not
only failed to prevent the Mar-a-Lago FBI raid from happening, have
failed to paint the Fl. 25th Congressional District Red ?
